AH I REMEMBERED WHAT I WAS GONNA SAY EARLIER but it's kind of stupid, lmao.
So my partner is getting into brewing beer and I got them a Tilt, which is a Bluetooth hydrometer. It measures specific gravity and temperature, which are things you want to know so that you don't kill your yeast or whatever. Except the sensor's Bluetooth range is super short, and it basically runs via a phone app, and the temperature we're logging currently is the crawlspace, accessible via the staircase closet. So they were like, wait, what do we do about this, because I can't leave my phone in the closet, that's my alarm clock.
In a kind of ridiculous turn of life imitating art, I was like, hold up, I got just the thing right at my desk. Bam. Old phone. We just needed to scrounge up a charger because the battery is so dead that after charging just enough to power on it claimed it was at 53% (to be fair to it, there is a very real chance that it's correct, and it just holds no charge at this point so the capacity is just THAT low) and now it lives in the closet logging sensor data.
And I was like, you know...didn't I just solve a major story detail with a much larger version of this...yeah, no, this is all vaguely familiar somehow, power supply issues and all. Kind of cool that the concept works though. Kind of weird that it came up at all?
We are not gonna talk about the fact that I still have at least two more ancient-ass phones in a drawer where that came from because look, man, sometimes you just need a camera/mic/mini computer with Bluetooth and wifi that fits in a pocket, and people just get rid of these things, but not me. I actually could build a shitty security system out of them if I was reaaaally inclined. I mean. I'm not. But it's technically possible.
For real though, If I pick up any stupid maker projects I still high-key am thinking about slapping Bluetooth into a necomimi headset and running that through an Arduino and learning to code just enough to let me skip songs/change the volume on Spotify with my brain, because it's entirely doable, and I mean yeah I could do that on my phone remotely too, but that's not funny, now, is it. I'm just not sure it's $350+ of parts funny. Kind of a big investment just to prove the point that haha look I am the extremely ADHD type of lazy where I would rather solve a problem via the most convoluted and complicated Rube-Goldberg type ass machine way possible rather than just perform a single simple action.
YEAH I'VE BEEN THIS SCATTERED ALL DAY AND I REALLY SHOULD GO TO BED SHOULDN'T I. I started playing Satisfactory. Mistakes were made. I'm going to dream about conveyor belts again and I did it to myself...
#you know I used to mostly blog about witchcraft and paganism#and now I'm like. you know what I want to do? chain an EEG sensor to the Spotify API and skip songs with my brain.#it's kind of like magic when you put it like that. maybe things haven't actually changed that much after all#the headset idea actually came about bc I'd gotten so far into the writing zone that I literally just. tried to skip a song with my brain.#because I had so much reploid characters on my mind that it just sounded like a normal course of action I should be able to take#obviously it didn't work and cue me sitting there for a full 3 seconds going 'why didn't it. wait. why did I think it would?'#followed immediately after by 'YEAH BUT I PROBABLY COULD DO THAT ACTUALLY'#because you just Cannot write a character like Glitch without it rubbing off on you a little bit and WWGD kicked in real hard lmao#well obviously he'd [ridiculous chain of ideas ending in 'anyway I installed some shit and now I can control Spotify with my mind']#and I gotta say I do not like the idea of sticking a sensor on the *inside* of my skull. sounds very bad.#but it doesn't have to be on the inside to work soooo there's that!#I have a friend who for quite a long time had a rare earth magnet in one finger so he could find live wires by touch#he ended up removing it for work eventually but when I say I was jelly. man. but also kinda squeamish about it.#I do not like sharp things and I am Very funny about my fingers as an artist/writer/used to be musician.#but man that sounds cool. I want the magnet senses. I don't think I want them enough to have a magnet under my skin though#I think I wouldn't use them enough for that to be helpful actually lmao#anyway do I even need more senses? probably not. mine are already unfiltered and loud as shit.#'boy I wish I could sense magnetic fields' says idiot guy who can hear the mains hum even with no electronics currently turned on#like when the power goes out I can FEEL the fucking difference in the air and it's unnaturally quiet and kinda spooky#I do not think I need help on this front actually. I think I got it handled pretty okay lol

All about me!
I just feel like it’s time to put a little post about me!
My name is Ashlyn and I’m from New England America, my pronouns are She/Her ~ Age is 22 - I am bisexual ~ Neurodivergent
I’m a pagan and a witch based upon my ancestry, Hellenic polytheism and Norse/Germanic paganism and witchcraft.
I’m mostly started out as a tarot reader then became a witch and a pagan, I practice mostly folk magic and Ancestral Magic. Right now trying to find a traditional magic practice. I do a lot of knot magic and needle work presently.
My guardian animal: I don’t know if that’s the correct term but Bears 🐻, I always had dreams/nightmares about bears since I was little and when I did a tarot reading on what my familiar spirit is the bear came up.
Why I started this blog?
I guess the main reasons to keep a digital record of my experiences, thoughts, lessons, etc. to share my experiences so I thought maybe it can help people find what they are looking for and learn about it. Also a chance for me to learn about other people’s perspectives and ideas. I’m always open to learn more and share more information the best I can.
Also I like to swear in my blogs because I like to, I don’t do it excessively but it’s prevalent if you aren’t comfortable with it.
My hobbies!
I read a lot. Not just one subject, Fantasy, Fiction, Historical fiction, Non-Fiction, and Classics. I might post some book reviews and recommendations on this blog. My favorite book is LOTR it’s my cozy and feel good book, Tolkien also had a lot of pagan inspiration for his stories.
I also write! Short stories to writing long stories about whatever comes to mind. I write fantasy and historical fiction, but also horror and thriller. At times I write poetry. Sometimes when I’m bored use my tarot for a creative writing project.
I like to do crafts. Especially when it comes to paganism and witchcraft. I sew and embroidered poppets, sigils, or symbols. I wouldn’t say I’m neat with a thread and needle but I get the job done.
Video Games I love Halo, Skyrim, Fallout, AC Valhalla and Odyssey, Animal Crossing, Red Dead Redemption.
Hiking and Foraging in nature
Witchcraft and Tarot cards (obviously)
My Likes!
Season: Autumn
Holiday: Yule/Saturnalia
Music: Anything that sounds good to me: Right now Opera is my most listen to. From Opera to Oldies to Folk music to Heavy Metal to Pop songs. R&B is a guilty pleasure of mine and a couple of rappers and hiphop artists. So again I kinda like everything.
Animals: I love cats I have three of my own, Rabbits, Squirrels, Deer, Horses, Bears, Ravens. I like any animals but those I wanna say are my top ones 😂
Insects: don’t necessarily like them but spiders and moths are pretty neat, but Honeybees or bees in general are my favorite they’re quite special to me. Hopefully one day I start beekeeping.
TV Shows: Penny Dreadful was amazing if you like dark horror, witchcraft, in a Victorian setting that incorporates a lot of classic horror stories like Frankenstein and Dracula highly recommended it with Eva Green and Helen McCoy. I don’t have a favorite movies or tv shows definitely but Legion, LOTR, Immortals, Harry Potter movies, the show Vikings. Are great and anything like it just 🤌
ASMR/Meditation ambiences
Smell of burning wood
Tarot cards and reading and finding anything that I can do with them that is new

intro post
hello, i go by dozing/doze on here (hermit is fine too if you still wanna use that)
im seventeen and a switch in the sfw tickle community. ive ran a few other blogs in the past, but abandoned them out of self-hate. i have not too recently accepted and embraced this about myself, and after lurking for a while, i have started a new blog.
i view tickles as a fun, silly, bonding activity for friends, lovers, or family, and just a cute part of the human condition. i adore seeing people laughing. i love laughs a lot. maybe a little too much.
i occasionally do tickle art and (rarely, but sometimes) tickle writing/scenarios. this blog will likely mostly consist of random thoughts, art, cute stuff i see or think, or other interactions within the community.
i love talking with others in the community like me, so never hesitate to dm me or anything. id love to chat and make a few friends here.

Intro Post
Saw some of my mutuals do an intro post to pin to their page so I figured I'd do it too cause why not? Putting it under the cut cause its mostly just rambling.
About:
Sage (they/it/neos) + 26 + polyam nonbinary aspec (demiromantic greyasexual) lesbian + auDHD and mentally ill + physically disabled
Current Special Interests/hyperfixations: Disney World, House MD, BBC Sherlock, and CWs Supernatural
Past Special Interests/hyperfixations: witchcraft/paganism, Sailor Moon, the Sims, and makeup/skincare
Feel free to send asks/dms about any and all current or past SpIns or hyperfixations!!
Fandoms:
At its core this has always been a multifandom blog but currently I'm mainly a House MD blog. I can and will post about other fandoms as I see fit/want to. Most likely candidates will be BBC Sherlock, Supernatural, and Star Trek: TNG. I do like Sailor Moon, Criminal Minds, Prodigal Son, and My Babysitter's a Vampire so those may show up too.
House MD specific shit:
I'm a multishipper and really into queer and neurodivergent headcanons. Gonna list my most common ships/headcanons here.
Ships: Hilson, Choreman, Chase/Park, Taubner, and Hudson
Queer headcanons: I firmly believe no one in the main cast is cishet and can even be queer in multiple different interpretations but some of my faves are bi arospec House, nonbinary Thirteen, genderfluid Chase, transmasc lesbian Park, and gay Taub!
Neurodivergent headcanons: House, Cameron, Chase, and Thirteen are all autistic. Kutner and Park are auDHD. Basically everyone is mentally ill in some fashion.
Tags:
Tagging is a lawless land on this blog. Sometimes I tag ships/fandoms sometimes I don't. I mostly use the tags as a place to yammer on about whatever I want.
I have three AUs/headcanons I've created/co created that may or may not have content tagged. These are:
#ppth nonsensical polycule (A polycule created by the hivemind of me and my friends. No it doesn't make sense. Yes its OOC. No I do not care.)
#comphet savior complexes (This is my tag for the disaster that is the Wilson/Cameron comphet relationship. I haven't really developed it much but I plan to so here it is)
#nonbinary thirteen truther (As my blog title may suggest, I really like this headcanon. Posts I think fit into this and/or meta I make will probably be tagged with this)
I try and tag common triggers such as suicide, self harm, abuse, etc but I am not always the best. Please let me know if I miss a tag or if you need something specific tagged!
Sideblogs:
@queer-eclectic-witch (My witchy sideblog - don't use often but its there)
@thenoblehouseofdrarry (A sideblog from when I was into Harry Potter. I no longer support JKR but also don't want to delete it. Its there if you want to look at it, but I am no longer posting)
I also have a rarely used venting sideblog. I wont link the URL but based on the description its pretty easy to tell if its me. I ask if you somehow find it and we talk on a regular basis to please ask me before you follow!

I feel like I've neglected the blog again, so! Mod Smoke here again. Time for an update on the sanguinarian shenanigans.
I've added a few books to my reading list, and the one on my bedside table is Energy Magick of the Vampyre by Don Webb. I tend to keep my own council and use several grains of salt when it comes to witchcraft, especially when people start spelling magic with a k, but I can definitely see how this could scratch some of the itch. For better or for worse, there's something predatory and preening about the nature of the vampire, and the more educated you are about yourself and your options the easier it is to take your urges out for a little run in healthy ways.
I'm on the fence about auras, energy, and all of that, but I'm a theatre kid at heart. The power of presence and presentation, the intersection of stage magic and religious ritual, is absolutely a real tool. Mod Glass is more straightforward about it- she definitely believes, and to my eternal bafflement she manages to feed on trees and flowing water. I can definitely believe in that, and the way she's a little less primal after sitting in a park for an hour. Clearly something is being achieved there, so it's possible- I'm just tragically doomed to my own version of cynicism, and thus the awkward anxiety of trying to ask the butcher for blood.
(I still haven't.)
I've got my coconut water, my pomegranate juice, my aesthetic and my interests. It's enough for now. I don't know if I'm flourishing, but I'm nearer that than not, so I'll take what I've got.
I think in a lot of ways it's easier to separate what you "should" want from what you do want. Especially when you're a teenager, you want the validation of community- community for its own sake, to some extent, but also a mirror to tell you you're real.
I fell into that when I found the otherkin community, pagans, all of it- if I let myself keep on with that, I'd still be content with the idea that dragons are supposed to crave eating rocks or hoarding shiny things. That's not what I need, or even what I really want. I want community, and I'm not going to find it by conforming to any standards, or I quite simply wouldn't be me. I try to hold onto "build it and they will come", for better or for worse, but I do go looking in my own way.
You don't net as much weird, queer, and othered community in the Bible Belt as you might expect unfortunately. It's a work in progress.
Back on the more direct topic though, I'm having fun snatching the other mods for deep philosophical discussions over drinks. I think it named itself Mod Citrine...? It's not on here often, mostly because it's even less inclined to the kind of theatrics I get up to. No roses and candles and gothic spires for that one. We feed on different things, I think, when it comes to blood- and that's why I can't entirely write off the possibility of some strange unquantifiable energy being involved. It's incredibly, deeply intimate for me, and for a moment I could almost convince myself I do have powers beyond doing mostly even eyeliner wings. It's definitely not the same kind of power or even hedonistic high that comes from sex, but I can't define it to save my life except through poetry.
For Citrine... it prefers not to call itself a vampire except by the strictest definition. If pressed, it'll say alterhuman or otherkin, but mostly for someone else's benefit so they can slap a label on and move on. It's not a vampire with all the bells and whistles the way myself, Glass, and Key are, with the gothic yearning and nocturnal tendencies and the fifteen different types of black lipstick on top of the hunger for blood. It calls itself an object spirit, a thing that had enough sentiment attached to it to get reincarnated, with some urges left over. Objects aren't animals, aren't primal the way animals are- but the desires and dreams attached to them are human, in a way, as much as they're not, divorced from the breadth of human emotion and distilled into inhuman too-clean drives, the way a storm or a mountain has drives.
Even so, it has a relationship with blood, just like I have a relationship with blood, and that interests me. I come at it from the perspective of a vampire, the hunger of the human predator that seeks to thrive, and then beyond thriving seeks their own pleasure. Citrine comes at it from the perspective of a sword, skill and fulfilled purpose and occasionally even as an offering. Not a biological hunger, not in the same way, but a hunger of purpose. Maybe ideology or identity. It makes some sense. As a vampire, I have to feed. The community itself is proof enough that the definition of feeding is varied. A sword would want blood, and specifically blood, because that's what it's built for and meant to do.
Needless to say, next time I make my substitute I'm offering some and seeing what it thinks. Partially for science. Partially because I'm pretty sure it'll work and I want to see the look on Citrine's face. Join me in pretentious vampire hell, I drink pomegranate juice out of wine glasses and it's very very fun.
That said, dinner's almost done, so I'll leave off here. Have a good night!

♟️ ; welcome!
you can call me azriel or solis :). this is a religious blog and i'll mostly talk about paganism and witchcraft.
ABOUT MY PRACTICE
i'm an eclectic pagan; i'm an omnist, however my practice revolves only around the religions/paths that i feel most drawn to. at the moment i'm focusing mostly on hellenic polytheism, a bit on norse paganism; i'm planning to get into kemeticism once i find a balance with all the things i have to do in my life.
i also practice witchcraft from time to time, but i only know the basics and it's not something i use frequently. i still have a lot to learn and my path is constantly evolving!
ABOUT ME
i'm fluent in italian and english; i've always wanted to learn languages and i'm currently learning spanish, dutch and mandarin chinese.
i'm part of the LGBTQIA+ community — i'm non-binary (boyflux) and aroacespec.
it's very likely that i'm neurodivergent (w/ multiple neurodivergencies) and i struggle a lot with social interactions and being active on social media. still, i created this blog to meet more people like me and share my experiences.
i've also been dealing with chronic pain for a little over a year now and this deeply impacts my energy levels.
DNI
DO NOT FOLLOW & DO NOT INTERACT IF: basic DNI, proshippers, terfs, etc.
i block freely, sometimes it's not about serious things but it can happen if i feel uncomfortable.
— guide to tags
i'd love to meet and get to know more pagan and/or witchy people, so do not be afraid to dm me or say something in my inbox ♥︎

hi hi! you said in your intro post that you're celtic pagan, and sadly i don't know what that is ;( could you explain it to me plz?? i absolutely adore witchy aesthetic and would rly appreciate it if you could tell me what you know, you seem smart :3
sending nuzzles!!
hi, anon! thanks for the ask.
as with all religious beliefs, celtic paganism will mean different things to different people, so I can only share my experiences.
firstly, paganism is defined as a religion other than one of the world religions (think Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism), specifically a 'pre-christian' religion. this basically means is that its a religion that was replaced by christianity. think of the ancient greek, roman and norse pantheons.
when I say celtic paganism, I mean celtic neopaganism. famous examples of celtic neopagans include the wicca. I'm not wicca, however. (the celts refer to gaelic speaking peoples. think druids)
lots of celtic pagans try to replicate celtic festivs like imbolc and samhain. the main touch points of celtic belief and worship stem from the acknowledgement of the power of nature. there's a lot of gods and goddesses and different customs to observe. (Wikipedia link about celtic neopaganism below)
personally, I don't follow any modern celtic religious practises, mostly because they're not historically accurate. I'm a celtic reconstructionist, meaning that I try to replicate genuine celtic worship. i can't speak gaelic, although my family have lived in Scotland and Ireland for generations, and while I'm attempting to learn more about my culture and heritage, I'm always cautious of the cultural appropriation present in most forms of celtic neopaganism.
most celtic pagans have lots of festivals. I don't go to festivals, as I prefer to worship privately. most of the time I don't actively worship at all. it's just nice to have something to believe in and fall back on. I only converted a couple of months ago, so I'm hardly an expert. I know there will be lots of excellent celtic paganism blogs on tumblr if you want to learn more, but I'm yet to discover them :(
i love the witchy aesthetic too. I used to be a witch myself, but I don't practise it as much as I used to :( I just don't really have the motivation any more. I have a naturecore/slightly witchy aesthetic blog where I'll post more about witchcraft and paganism, which I'll tag below
thanks for the ask, sundorwine! I hope this makes sense! (Sending nuzzles back :3)

i've only just found this blog (sorry) and i'm too tired to scroll all the way through it (sorry again). so what sort of things do you do? like tarots, gems, etc.
my family is christian but i don't buy it. i'm looking for some spiritual belief to see if any seem to vibe with me, if that makes sense. so i have some questions for you!
what exactly is witchcraft and what does it involve?
is this the same as paganism?
are there any parts of witchcraft you don't believe/ think is a hoax? for example, i believe in an afterlife but i don't believe in mediums. i believe that ghosts can communicate with everyone and everyone has the capability to communicate back!
these are all genuine questions and i'm sorry if they come across nosy or if i've said something wrong. i'm just terribly nosy.
oof ok so i just wanna preface this by saying that a) i'm a beginner and still figuring out what i believe in and b) witchcraft is very subjective so if you disagree with stuff i say that's completely fine and even encouraged. your practice is personal to you and you should create your own unique belief system!
what sort of things do i do? there are different paths of witchcraft – for example green witchcraft, hedge witchcraft, sea witchcraft etc – and i'm an eclectic witch, so i combine many different aspects, although i'm mostly a green witch and an elemental witch, working with nature, plants and herbs and using the four basic elements in my practice a lot. i also make sigils a lot and am learning to read tarot!
what exactly is witchcraft? soooo you know how i said it's subjective? yeah everyone's craft is different and everyone has different definitions, so the short answer to this question is i have no idea. especially since everyone has different ideas about how it works, too. for some people, it's theories about physics and dark matter and science that we just haven't discovered yet (i'm always wary of the people that use science to explain their beliefs since it's nearly always pseudoscience, but many say things like 'well what we consider science now would have been magic centuries ago' and that's fair). some people are animists, and believe that everything has a soul, and they can use this in their working while honouring nature spirits. there are people similar to animists except instead of everything having a soul, everything has an 'energy' that can be harnessed, which is one of the most popular beliefs. also, many believe that you use energy from living beings and use things like herbs and crystals to channel this. this last one is the one i believe in the most, with a dash of animism in that i believe that every living thing has a soul (it's more complex than that but yeah). but you are a witch if you are aiming to indirectly manipulate what happens to you using spells. that's vague ik but that's what we all have in common – manipulating the future
is this the same as paganism? nope! many pagans are witches and many witches are pagans, but there isn't a full overlap. paganism is the worship of nature-related or 'ancient' deities. animism, which i mentioned before, comes under paganism too
are there any parts of witchcraft you don't believe/ think is a hoax? im going to only half-answer this question, just because you should come up with your own beliefs and mine are unique to me, i guess. also i'm still figuring out what i do and don't believe. it's very good that you are already doing this, and try to just think 'do i believe this' every time you read anything about witchcraft, partly because that's a great way to form your own opinions and partly because the witchcraft community is fraught with pseudoscience. one thing to be careful of is 'new age' which is a belief system that has taken over a lot of modern witchcraft but is incredibly problematic for a number of reasons. @ pondering-the-kaiju has some great resources about this in their pinned.
lastly, if youre looking for beginner resources, @ breelandwalker is brilliant, and also my favourite youtubers who i HIGHLY recommend are chaotic witch aunt, the hearth witch, the green witch and the witch of wonderlust. seriously, if you're looking to start out, watching a few of their videos is one of the best ways.
yeah so those are your questions answered – if you have any more please ask and i'll answer to the best of my ability! don't worry about being nosy lmao i enjoyed answering this
especially if you're looking for a spiritual belief as an alternative to christianity, i'm happy to talk about my personal pagan worship and other pagan belief systems :)

Khaire and welcome to my blog!
About me:
You can call me Clover or Clove, and my pronouns are she/her. I am nebulously in my 20s.
This is just a little side blog dedicated to my spiritual practice—somewhere between a digital grimoire, devotional blog, and the online equivalent of a cool rock collection. I mostly reblog things I think are funny, useful, interesting, or pretty. I may occasionally make original posts as well.
My original content tags are #personal for rambles, and #clover's grimoire for spells and things (though it's pretty sparse atm).
More info under the cut! Please read if it's your first time here. 💛
About my practice:
I'm a solitary witch of close to 10 years, though my practice has ebbed and flowed, and I still have much to learn; what knowledge I do have has come from a combination of research, community interaction, observing the practices of others, and trial and error. I focus especially on green magic, herbalism, cartomancy, and dream magic.
I am a Revivalist Hellenic Polytheist going on 5 years. At present, I am a devotee of Apollo, and work closely with Thanatos as well.
I am NOT a Wiccan or Pagan, so please do not use those labels for me/my content. I do NOT offer any divinatory/spellcasting services, free or charged, so please refrain from asking. I am NOT a New Age believer/follower, and I don't wish to interact or be associated with that community. I do NOT advocate for the use of spiritual/magical remedies in place of medical treatment, and if you try to tell me that my chronic illnesses can be "cured" with oils and crystals, I will block you.
I am pro-baneful magic, and sometimes use cannabis in my practice (though I don't talk about it much, and tag it appropriately if I do—and, for the record, I live where it is legal for recreational use). If either of these things make you uncomfortable, I understand, and you can avoid/block me with no hard feelings. Please do not shame me for these parts of my craft though.
Feel free to ask me questions, but bear in mind that I may choose not to answer; some parts of my practice I am not very open about, and I don't consider myself knowledgeable enough (nor do I have the time/energy) to be a teacher. If I do share anything, know that it will be information relevant to my knowledge, my experience, and my practice, and you may not find it applicable, agreeable, or useful.
Please note:
On this blog I do not stand for any form of bigotry, including biphobia, transphobia, ableism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, and so on. If you hold any such beliefs, I kindly ask that you simply block me and carry on with your day. If you go out of your way to try and provoke me, I will simply block you. I do not have much energy to spare, and the last thing I want to do with it is waste it on bad-faith discourse and dead-end arguments with people who don't actually want to listen.
I strive to be open-minded and self-aware, and if I ever say or reblog something closed-minded, misinformative, offensive, etc. please don't hesitate to let me know. I believe the witchcraft community should be inclusive and respectful of all.
Banner and profile pics not mine. The sun dividers I use were made by @liminal-creations !
💛☀️💛

I Deactivated My Facebook Page
Yep, I did it. It was about time. Ever since the birth of the algorithm, even though I had thousands of people on my friends list, I think three of them saw my posts (sarcasm, kind of). True. I had been reading about "shadow banning" on YouTube, Facebook, and a couple other platforms, and I wanted to see if this is what happened to my FB profile, so I logged into my other profile (come on, we all have one), and even though I was on MY OWN FRIENDS LIST, I saw virtually nothing -- no posts -- when I went to view my main profile. I thought, boy this is odd, I'm my own friend, but I see virtually nothing. I'm thinking this must mean that other people on my friends list see virtually nothing as well.
I think I figured out why.
I've been promoting my books on FB for years, literally YEARS, and I got a nice bit of back and forth, responses, comments, and the like, until FB started charging you to "run ads", to pay for "sponsored" ads, and I've seen quite a few of these ads come through my feed from other authors. But, hey, I don't make enough money off of anything to pay for promotion, and I'm not really sure how much I trust their spiel: "If you pay us $50 for an ad, it will be shown to 3000 people". No, I don't believe it.
So, there you go.
I have a private page now, consisting of family, a handful of people I know from The Real World, and a few internet friends I've had for years that I've become very fond of -- and I have a few more of these people that I need to reconnect with. Less than 30 people so far, and it feels much more cozy than 4000 people who were mostly total strangers.
I do want to say that with my private page I have now, I did take the opportunity to create three new public pages at Facebook, and I'm going to give you the links to those pages here:
The Mystic Crone click HERE
I began this page with a few posts which include episodes #30 to #37. From now on, when I post on The Mystic Crone Blog and The Mystic Crone YouTube, I'll make sure that I post the latest podcast on this Facebook page. Let it be known that there are a slew of podcasts @ this YouTube, if you haven't checked them out, and as we say -- spiritual readings are Timeless.
You'll find mystical readings inspired by Spirit using the tarot. They say that once you reach a certain age you become invisible, and to an extent, that's true. However, with age and invisibility comes a certain sense of power.
"Reclaim your power, O' ancient one. Walk the paths of your ancestors, communicate with the spirit world, and challenge the shadows. The universe will be still to hear your whispered words of wisdom." ~ Mystic Crone
Spirits n' Stuff click HERE
I have 22 podcasts uploaded to my Spirits n' Stuff YouTube, and I managed to post all of these to this new Facebook page. I will certainly try to post new podcasts, as they're created, to this page as well. You can subscribe to this YouTube channel to be notified when I upload a new video.Spirits n' Stuff explores the world of spiritualism, the supernatural, the paranormal, cryptids, myths and legends, hauntings, and the unknown.
BOOKS by Amythyst Raine click HERE
At this Facebook page, I've created ten posts, a post for each book, including info from the back cover text, a banner created for each book, and in the comments you'll find a link to purchase each book at Amazon. I won't be creating anymore posts on this page. Basically, you'll find my books here with the info you need to browse & purchase.
Amythyst Raine is a Best-Selling author of metaphysical books on tarot and intuitive reading, witchcraft, Wicca, paganism, women's mysteries, new-age spirituality, the pagan Goddess, gray magic, and green witchcraft.
There you have it, my new experience and journey on Facebook, going forward. I would be absolutely thrilled if you visited these pages and click the like or follow button, feel free to leave comments, watch podcasts, buy books, or enjoy an intuitive inspiring spiritual reading.

who runs this blog?
Hi, my name is Kenny. I’m a 22 year old, non-binary queer. I’ve been in the practice for about 10 years now and tho I am by no means an expert, I have some experience that I like to share on occasion. My focus is divination (oracle mostly, mountain card reading, pendulum, some tarot, etc) but recently I’ve been finding myself wanting to stretch my legs and try out some new stuff.
I am also (currently) a pagan who just kinda goes with whatever and is trying to reconnect with ancestors, the earth, and my deities. I also have an interest in Judaism and Jewish Mysticism, but unfortunately I don’t think it’s my time to convert just yet. I have a lot of learning and growing to do before I feel ready to commit to something so big and life changing. So in the meantime I’ll be trying to have as much fun as I can being a pagan witch

I am and always will be anti-colonisation, and I stand with Palestine. I post resources on my ig and tiktok with the same handle as main because that's where I have a following
Looking for more pagan friends so PLEEASEE don't be scared of messaging me 😭
I plan on making informative masterposts in the future. Religions that I know the most about are hellenism, kemeticism and I'm beginning to get into Slavic paganism, but you can request other (open) religions/practices and I will try my best to look into it
Please let me know if I reblog or post something misinformed/offensive, especially since this blog is mostly for saving stuff I could use in the future
About me
I'm Polish so English isn't my first language, so sorry if I misuse some words lol.
I've been in witchcraft circles for around 10 years now, strictly pagan for around 4-5. I'm an Aphrodite and Khonsu devotee :)
I have autism, ADHD and DID (fictive host). I'm trans and questioning between straight and bi.
I'm sorry I don't know how to make pinned posts 😭 I'll probably update it someday sparkle on

I lost my grimoire, and decided to remake it from scratch. I can’t afford a new leather bound notebook right now, so I figured tumblr was as good a place to compile random information as any. This blog is mostly for me, but anyone can feel free to read it, whether it’s for witchcraft purposes, just learning about witchcraft, inspiration, or even just reading it like you would a fantasy novel lol. I don’t care who reads or follows, just be respectful of beliefs and be a kind human. I won’t be posting my shadow work to this blog, since that’s deeply personal, but my digital grimoire will be a collection of my own beliefs, practices, spells, and observations. If I use the wrong tags, just let me know and I’ll change them.
Info about me for context, I suppose:
I am a chaos witch (duh). I’ve been practicing witchcraft since late 2021. I am Pagan (VERY new to it tho, so still figuring it out). I am a middle worker (someone who works with angels and guides to learn and do good as well working with your inner child or “shadow” in order to heal), but at the moment I’m mostly focusing on shadow work. My practice spans just about everywhere in my house, and I am neurodivergent so my practice is all over the place and very sporadic. I’m also a pyromaniac, so I burn a lot of candles and incense. I might even make a post dedicated to some of the incense I use and what I use it for.
That’s it for my little intro, I think. I’m gonna have a sort of post masterlist/table of contents to help keep myself organized here:

Daily Magic Rituals ( In under 10 Minutes)
5 daily magic rituals you can do in under 10 minutes.
I’ve been practicing for over a decade at this point in my life. But there are times where I don’t touch my tools or my cards for months at a time. Right before I started Greenman Meadow’s blog, I started trying to set time aside each day for a daily magic ritual or two. And it actually started to help. I felt calmer and more in focus and I’ve been familiarizing myself with a new deck of tarot card.
With The Farm, and Munchkin, I can’t set aside huge chunks of time for meditating or spells. Hell, it’s hard enough to get all my social media and blog work done some days. I don’t like getting up early and normally even though I’m up early for the farm, my blog work doesn’t start until later in the morning. So I started simplifying what I wanted to do. Small rituals that help fuel the day or rituals to wind down and review in the evenings.
Being a Witch in a Modern World
The nice part about modern paganism and witchcraft is we’ve realized that there is magic in most things we do. That first sip of coffee, our morning shower, rolling the windows down in the car on the way to work. All of these things influence the elements and with a little push, can be used to turn a mundane day into a magical one.
There are tons and tons of daily rituals all over the internet. Morning, Evening, Shower,Green Witch,Kitchen Witch, you name it and there’s a list of “10 things you can do everyday for your magic.”
And that’s totally cool! The upside is you know yourself and your magic best, so feel free to pick and choose what works best with your schedule or your intentions that day.
I’ve gathered a generalized list of 5 things you can do in 10 minutes or less on a daily basis to fuel your day and your magic. But feel free to add to it if you need it. I’ll list some resources to other blogs at the end as well as on our Pinterest board for you to look up some other cool ideas and inspirations.
5 Ways to Practice your Magic Everyday!
Meditate
Yes I know this is so cliche, but I’m not talking about climbing a mountaintop with the sunrise and isolating for years.( if you decide to become a monk and do this good for you though! )
What I’m talking about is taking 5-10 minutes to sit in total silence, feet flat on the ground and just breathe.
Let the thoughts in your head pop up but don’t focus on them. One analogy I use is your thoughts are a breeze around a mountain(you). They surface but move on while you stay steadfast.
Try Guided Meditations for something different.
If you are new to meditating or can’t sit in total silence, check out guided meditations.
When I was in massage school, we would take breaks about once a week to lay on the lab floor and just listen. Our TA had the best meditation voice ever.
My Favorite Guided Meditation
My favorite meditation is visualizing a fireplace, a comfy chair and rain outside. I am horrible at drawing up actual pictures in my head, I mostly see in colors and simple shapes, and I could literally feel the flames warming my skin it was that good.
Taking just 10 minutes to sit quietly before starting your day doesn’t seem like it does much. I didn’t think about it myself when I started as I was only using it to clear my mind before doing a daily magic tarot draw. But boy can I tell on the weekends when Mr. Moose is home and the house is loud, that I didn’t get my quiet time with my coffee and cards.
If you have extra time or need to focus on a particular issue once you’ve grounded and cleared your mind, do it! There are a lot of times where I have to remind myself to let go of my thoughts and just breathe because I think of a chore or an issue that pops up. If I follow down that rabbit hole, it throws everything off and I forget why I’m sitting there.
Use the 4-8-4 Breath
I find counting helps to block everything else in your mind. I focus on counting my breaths in, holding and exhaling. It’s repetitive, helps to make sure I’m breathing deep enough and keeps me from thinking about random things.
Feel free to use your meditation time to pray, talk to your deity or send energy to a friend or loved one.
How to use meditation in daily life
Try to set aside some time everyday to meditate and see how much calmer and put together you feel. And it doesn’t have to be in the mornings either!
Try before bed to release the energies from the day. Use a lunch break if you are in school or at work to raise your alertness and productivity.(If you can get outside or by a window to get some outdoor energy too!)
And if you’re home with little ones like me well, you know you need all the quiet time you can spare. Those chores can wait 10 more minutes, they’ll still be there when you’re done, I promise.(Unfortunately.)
Daily Magic: Drawing Positivity and Banishing Negativity
If you can tie this in with your meditation great! If not, no worries, I know not everyone has extra time in the mornings.( Mr Moose is chronically late waking up.Thank the goddess he’s not a girl who does hair and makeup, he’d be even worse.)
The best way I know to set the intent for the day is using your morning drink. Coffee, tea, protein shake, lemon water, whatever.
Widdershins!
One of the things as a beginner witch you can learn is clockwise/ counterclockwise and what they do for your casting. So simply think of something you’d like to draw into your life( like a good test score, a bonus on your paycheck or just a sunny day) and stir clockwise.
Or on the opposite side of the coin(or spoon) think of something you’d like to remove from your life( anxiety, an annoying ex,lack of self esteem, frizzy hair) and stir counterclockwise. Super simple!
Daily Magic: Divination
The third tie-in on MY morning routine is to read my tarot cards with the focus on what my lesson is for the day.
I personally draw 3 cards because I like to know more but most people use a single card draw. There’s tons of layouts on Pinterest for daily spreads, Sabbats, and specific questions.( Also Biddy Tarot and Emerald Lotus Tarot have some good info on spreads and meanings.)
It’s also extremely helpful when you are earning a new deck. This is the first time I’ve used a Rider-Waite deck so learning the Major/ Minor court is all new to me. I’m definitely more comfortable with my interpretations now than I was 2 months ago.
Is Divination your cup of Tea?
And as with every witch’s path, it doesn’t have to be just tarot cards either. You can scry with a crystal, a mirror or your cup of coffee.( If you read tea leaves, this is a great time to do it.) You can cast runes or I-Ching coins. Or if you have a specific question you can use a pendulum.
In my years of being a witch, I’ve accumulated each of these items, but some (like the I-ching) I’m still learning and familiarizing myself with them.
If you aren’t interested in divination that’s cool too!
My parent’s ( who introduced me on my path) both own oracle cards but don’t typically use them.
I’ve always been drawn to divination and learning so I like seeing what they tell me. (And I’ve been told off quite a few times by those same cards for being stubborn and pig headed let me tell you!)
If you aren’t really into divination, use this time to do a simple ritual instead. Light a candle or some incense, pray, make an offering to your pixie so he doesn’t steal your homework again.
Kitchen Witches are a good Example of Daily Magic
One of the daily rituals for a kitchen witch is to light a red candle in the kitchen and leave an offering on the kitchen altar for your ancestors and your deities. Or spray your favorite perfume in the bathroom while you get ready to inspire your inner goddess.
There’s countless ways to bring your own personal touches to your magic and how you want to use it.
Daily Magic: Decorate your Altar and leave offerings.
Tying in on the kitchen witch’s altar thing. One of the best ways to attend to your magic, is to attend to your magic space. A clean space draws positive energy better than cluttered one. And a decorated altar makes a witch happier than an empty shelf.
Depending on if you are in the broom closet still, or if you have domain over your entire house, can change up how you decorate. There are plenty of Non-Wiccan/ Pagan ways to decorate your altar, or you can make a pocket altar and keep it in an Altoids tin.
Right now we are still finishing up from our move-in 2 year ago, but I have to adjust what’s within Munchkin’s reach. So shiny crystals, hot candles and lighters and sharp pointy knives all go up where a 14 month old can’t reach(yet).
Our Altar Setup
I’m slowly starting to set up a dedicated area in each room that has an incense burner, a candle and whatever crystals, tools, etc, I think go well there.
Our living room altar is on top of our movie shelf and it has a fairy burner, a Gothic dragon statue and a red stone statue of Buddha. As well as an antique white and pink teacup and some rune stones I made. I leave feathers and leaves I find in the mornings up there. And once in a while, I’ll gather wildflowers and stems to put on the shelf as well.
I’ll be working on a kitchen altar soon but our kitchen isn’t very big.So right now I’m happy with a windowsill full of plants and my oils that are infusing. My BFF also gave me some wooden spoons and kitchen decorations that have Wiccan symbols on them that I use frequently.
If you are in a space you share with others who do not know or don’t approve, try just setting up decorative candles. Or put a symbol for each element in the corners of your room( feather for air, candle for fire, plant for earth and a seashell for water.) These are all inconspicuous enough that they’ll never be noticed. Even a pretty picture that you feel a connection to works well.
Leaving Offerings
As for leaving offerings, A small bottle cap set up out of little pet or children’s reach works well. Depending on if you are working with ancestors or deities decides what and if you leave anything.
Some like to share the first sip of your coffee or tea. Others prefer a slosh of whiskey or wine. Set aside an extra cookie or your favorite candy. Maybe your Great Aunt Pearl used to steal sweet’n low everywhere she went and you need to talk to her. Obviously the best way to draw her is to leave a packet or two out!
Outdoor Offerings
We try to leave outside offerings as well. Milk, honey, bits of pretty ribbon, are all appreciated by the Fae and woodland spirits here. During the Sabbats and the Esbats, you can pour your offerings to the gods outside when you are finished. We also leave offerings when we gather from trees or other living plants.( I learned the hard way to make sure you ask the tree before hand, don’t hurt it more than necessary and you damn well better have a gift in return… I was bloody and covered in scratches for a week.)
Attending to your magical space doesn’t have to be a huge ordeal( the whole point of this post is to stay under 10 minutes after all). But dusting your shelf, lighting a fresh incense stick or leaving an offering are great ways to take care of your space. As well as have a greater bond to your magic.
Daily Magic: Sigils
Now I saved this one for last because I know it can get pretty in depth as to all the things you can use sigils for and where you can put them. I’ll try not to get carried away and keep it simple for you guys.
Sigils are drawn or painted symbols used to achieve a specific effect. If you know about being Wiccan, you know the pentacle, triquetra and triskele all have powers of protection. Now if you were to draw one on say, your keys before a trip, now it’s a sigil.
Premade sigils exist all over the internet. I use them myself quite often, especially for healing and anxiety.
There are sigils for luck on a job interview or test, to increase beauty, get the house you want or to up your magical abilities. You can also use sigil generators to create your own.
An example of how to create a sigil is to first write a sentence of what you want to achieve.
Sigil Creation Example
We’ll use ” Remove anxiety and procrastination” as an example.
The first thing you do is remove all vowels. So that leaves us with “rmvnxtynprcrstntn“.
Now we remove all repeating letters(leave just the first of that letter and remove the rest.) That gives us “rmvnxtypcs“.
Now you enter those letters into a generator or create your own and then you have a sigil. ( Most generators are circular and have letters circling the outside in random order. You start at the first letter and trace a line going from each letter in your sentence in order until you have your sigil shape)
What you decide to do with the sigil afterwords is up to you.( Knowing about color correspondences comes in handy with sigils as well. Green for money, brown for animals, pink for love etc.)
Sigils are Adaptive
Honestly the most awesome thing about being in part of what’s now known as ” modern witchcraft” is our adaptability and versatility. Sigils are a large part of that.
You can be as discreet or up in your face as you want with how and where you put them. Draw a sigil with your foundation for beauty and grace. Put a slip of paper to increase money in your wallet or protection and safety under your phone-case. Draw it on your skin, a label on your shirt, sketch it out in the air with your finger.
As far as I know there’s no limit to how many you can use at the same time!
The are infinite options and solutions you can come up with and use.( Fair warning if you use the “invisibility” sigil to keep something hidden from somebody, you yourself will lose it a few times even if you don’t move it from its spot, ask me how I know…lol)
I personally use sigils on bottles of medicinal oils and salves to up their potency. On myself for anxiety or pain relief(drawn on my receptive hand/arm to pull the energy into my body) or on charms for customers and friends. Now if only they made a sigil that works on toddler tantrums.
5 Simple daily magic rituals anyone can do
So there you have it! These are the best daily magic things I think everyone should try to do or use. Feel free to change it to your style and schedule as needed. And don’t feel pressured to do all of them everyday either.
Are there any things you have questions about? Or something you look forward to adding to your routine? I’d love to know, so feel free to tell me in the comments below!
If you have any concerns about your magic or just need someone to talk to about being in the broom closet, feel free to email me or reach out on messenger if you can, I’m here to help out how I can.
See you soon! xoxo -A

Sometimes I feel like people would see me as a fake because I’m not really that dedicated to a specific god/goddess. Well, that’s not exactly true, but the one I do primarily worship is… it takes work to find information on her. Work I love. I love reading through old stuff and new textbooks and archeology articles. Not just for information on her but for information on deities in related cultural worship. Ones that share some history with her. I have one goddess I’ve been drawn to from Egyptian mythology, but that is something that I have not been putting as much research into. There is a lot more history documented with that goddess and I feel like I want to focus on my main culture/cultures first. No shade to Bast, love you girl. I just want to do right by you and that’s gonna take some other work. But my “pantheon” of focus (though i feel pantheon doesn’t quite fit it) isn’t really related to Egyptian mythology/ancient culture. I haven’t been doing much work with any deity because I want to know MORE about those that I would be interested in focusing on before I actually do much work with them. I do some non-individually deity focused witchcraft because I mean, you don’t need to reference any particular one for a lot of things I do decide to do at the moment, but I feel like that could be interpreted as not being pagan enough I suppose. Sure, I’ve been told that if you focus too much on research you might never end up doing anything, but I don’t feel like I’m ready for working with any specific gods outside of my main one yet. I don’t feel like I know them and their history enough to feel like I have enough of a connection to actually ask them for anything or to know who I specifically want to worship, regardless of asking for something or not or just vibing, I lost where I was going with that sentence. I don’t think it’s wrong for someone to go into worship of certain gods without reading a fucking textbook, that would be a lot to expect from people and I don’t think that’s necessary to worship and work with, but I feel drawn to research. I feel like I’m not at a stage where I have any other gods/goddesses that I want to worship, that I feel drawn to or close to yet, outside of the two goddesses I’ve had a long history with (both of whom I still want to learn even more about!). I like to share stuff on this blog that I don’t always use myself but find interesting and perhaps would benefit any followers this blog might have. I mostly focus on my own interests but I do occasionally step outside of that. I guess I just don’t feel drawn to picking new gods and worshipping them at the moment. I’m content with what I have and I don’t feel like I’m at a point where I’m comfortable with asking others for help or a relationship with. I feel like people would look at what I’m doing and see more of a nerd than a pagan. I suppose the witch part is still very much present regardless. I just don’t feel like I need to do more than research and work with my current gods at the moment, even if it’s only two and they aren’t from the same cultures. I am mindful of what is considered open vs closed practices and I am very much only working with open practices, I am content with that as well. I feel like learning is my form of worship lately. I really do feel like reading and watching documentaries are my way of starting to really know gods. I know some people like to meditate on them and focus primarily on that, but I think my version is to learn about the history and feel the present, at least for now. Is buying textbooks with money I saved maybe a bit extra compared to others? Yes. But I adore it! I wouldn’t be spending that money on the books if I didn’t. When it comes to the Norse stuff people will say read the eddas ant that’s enough or something, but I want to understand what the people who wrote them were thinking, and how the people before them, those who were actually pagan, saw things. I’m obviously not about to start larping a Viking 🙄 but I do want to know what we have knowledge of now.

Welcome to my witchcraft blog!
My name is Grimm I'm a 35 trans man, and I've been a practicing witch for 20 years.
Even with 20 years of witchcraft I am still learning, growing and changing and am open to questions and helping people do their research when it comes to their own craft.
More about me and my craft
I'm a Scorpio. I work with tarot cards, runes (being taught by my amazing partner who is Norse Pagan), crystals, candles and any flora (flowers, herbs, etc) I've researched and can get my hands on. I look to a few different gods and goddesses for guidance and support in my work (I wouldn't say I worship them). I try to put a little magick in my every day, mundane life.
Non-magick stuff about me
As I said I have a partner who I've been with for 10 years, and we have a kiddo together, hoping to be able to adopt soon too. I also have a service dog. I work too, so I'm not always online to answer questions or chat but I do check in when I can. I make art and write and love spending time with my family, especially outside!
This is a side blog. My main blog is @that-guy-called-vin
Things you'll see here
Personal spells, recipes, and rituals I've created
Personal spells, recipes and rituals kiddo has created (posted with their permission)

Reblogs from other witches on Tumblr.
Personal pics I've taken (mostly of nature or things I've gotten, maybe a selfie here and there)
Witch aesthetic stuff (this will come in the form of reblogs most likely)
Answered asks! You got a question? Ask box is open and anon is on.
Book reviews. I love to read and if I've read a witchcraft/spirituality related book I'll let you know what I think about it.
PSAs. These could be witchcraft related or not. These may also come in the form of reblogs more often than not.
Personal art and writing. If it's witchcraft related or has a witch vibe to it, I'll post it here!
