People say 'you deserve love just like everyone else' and that is 100% true but we need to discuss WHY more often. It's because God loves you. That's what gives you value. God didn't have to love us, but He chose to, because He decided that we should all have value. And no matter whether you've done the most heinous crimes ever, or what you're suicidal status is, what your beliefs are, etc. He loves YOU. I just wanted to let you know that your recent post really touched me; not to be dramatic but I teared up in a sushi restaurant lol. I’ve been having a really bad day, felt very unworthy & overall just horrible. So I wanted to say thank you for making me feel worthy, even though it wasn’t directed towards me it helped and was something I needed to see/hear. 🤍🤍

#dungeon meshi #izutsumi #marcille donato #chilchuk tims #I still stand by my tags on the Izutsumi character study piece I did in January - but I will repeat myself on a few lines here:#I *really* love this character. I love that all of the dungeon meshi crew are complicated and have difficult to love components.#But Izutsumi is a particular kind of hard to love. I foresee a lot of people being turned off by her abrasiveness and lack of teamwork.#She is very self-centered and openly goes against what the party agrees on.#She's a picky eater in a story that is 50% about eating good and healthy food!#It is in part about her growth but admittedly even *then* she remains rather true to her self-centeredness.#Even though she isn't as nice or funny or compassionate as the others...Izutsumi is still someone worth loving.#Even the more difficult people are someone worth loving.#And those people in turn are people who have something and someone they love.#She may be a girlcat but she is the most human of them all.#I hope that if you are an anime only watcher and are feeling put off by her at the moment; you'll give her a chance.#By the way: *yes* I worked very hard to draw that skateboard pose. It was worth it.#EDIT: HAPPY 500th POST OF POORLY-DRAW-MDZS!!! What a comic to commemorate the milestone with!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it is ok to love someone and be angry about things they’ve said and done at the same time. But that doesn’t mean you should just take all their crud lying down. Speak up and call them out. Even if they get angry about it, if they actually love you the way you love them, they will eventually listen to you, not just because you care about them, but because their love for you will be more important to them than whatever cruddy stuff is clogging up their metaphorical happiness pipes.

btw if you borrow dvds or cds from library you can rip them onto your own blanks or onto your hard drive or whatever. librarians don’t care and they won’t know if you do it or not

#poorly drawn odyssey #the odyssey #odysseus #penelope #epic the musical #Epic's version was very sweet and very well executed (and so cathartic!)#But Odyssey Penelope is *so* done with all the bullshit at this point in the story.#Credit where it is due; at this point she's been through a lot.#And to top if all off - her own son and one of the few maids on her side are buying into this (supposed) ruse.#This cannot have been the only time someone tried to pull this trick on her either.#Its the contrast between: 'Oh you're My husband?' and 'Ohh *sureeee* you're my husband. Just like the 30 other 'Odys' before you.'#The olive tree bed trick is a great gambit because it really is the final test to verify his identity.#I'm just a sucker for couples who have a secret only they know between them I suppose!#The match each other in will and wit! They will always find each other!!!#Anyways. The Odyssey is a worthwhile read and I highly recommend it. Epic is also a great musical worth checking out.
