Martinez: i swear to god that is not a twelve year old, that is a little hellion that crawled out of batman's shadow one dark and stormy night and decided to dedicate his existence to tormenting me. Officer: Are you really that mad about him putting a sticky note on your back-- Martinez: thats not the point

in danny's defense: the word "freak" is. a mini beserker button for him for.... obvious ghostly reasons, so like, even if its not directed at him, he still very much unappreciates Martinez's insults at Battinson. Danny may or may not be projecting.

he's not going to hurt the guy! not in any serious or permanently disfiguring way at least! But he is going to leave mean sticky notes on the square part of his spine that he can't reach, and stick salt in his 3AM Late Night Crime Scene Coffee, and kick the bottom of his heel while he's walking so he stumbles. And other petty, infuriating things that tally up and boil over, over time.

You meet your other sister-in-law very briefly.

She arrives unannounced in full Odonii garb and a long cloak for the cold, soaked through with rain. She's taller than most men, and carries herself like one too. Her hair spills out of her veil, not only unbraided but a horrendous mess. It's kind of fascinating. You catch a glimpse of a handgun slung across her back, hidden beneath her cloak. This is especially exciting; you’ve never seen one up close. You try to peek around her to get a better look at it, and flush in embarrassment when she catches you, shooting you a cold glare.

It doesn't seem like she speaks much without being spoken to, and you aren’t really the type to initiate conversations either. Livya fills in for the both of you, prompting your sister-in-law to introduce herself. Her name is Couya. You give her a respectful bow and curtsy, she gives a very slight bow back without looking you in the eye. She compliments your necklace. Or at least, she mumbles something while looking in the general direction of your necklace, and it might have been a compliment. You aren’t sure whether there’s something wrong with her or she’s just rude.

She's just her for filial duties at the family shrine, and she doesn't stay long. Livya stops her on her way out. She says she's disappointed that the one time in a year she can be bothered to come by, she shows up looking like a disheveled street-whore in priest's clothing. Look at Hibrides, she didn't even know we were having company and still did up her hair so nicely, and all by herself too. Thank God your father isn't here to see this, he's suffered enough embarrassment as it is-.

Couya stands in the doorway in silence through this whole speech. You thoroughly inspect a loose tile in the floor and try your best to pretend you aren't there. Livya doesn't take her hand off your shoulder the whole time.

All i'll say is

Believing that Dr*am is a groomer does not mean you have any moral high ground to judge people who don't think he is.

This situation is complex and both side have pretty damning evidence on the other. You can't blame either side for believing what they believe.

You are ALLOWED to hate Dream, you are allowed to not feel comfortable around people who are fans of him. You are allowed to think he is a groomer without being attacked for it.

You are NOT allowed to tell people to end their own life or that they're a "pedo defender". Holding moral judgement about people you dont even fucking know personally in a situation like this is not helping anyone.

I'm not gonna say what I personally believe because no one's fucking buiseness. All I want to say is that the trend of judging people's morality in situation like this is just purely a way to make yourself feel better.

We live in the real world, sometimes situations aren't black and white.

Idc make assumptions about this if you want, internet genuinely has been fucking vile recently and my hope in people's critical thinking skills have sunk to an all time low.

It's not just Twitter, the internet from the beginning has instilled into people such a chronic fear of being a bad person, it's rotted people's brains.

Leading to shit like policing queer identities and supporting people's horrid behavior for the sake of feeling superior, of feeling like you're the one in the right.

I'm so sick of people constantly fighting eachother, it's disheartening to see the internet has just become like this now. I've had panic attacks thinking of how people would perceive me for opinions I DIDNT EVEN SHARE on the internet back in the day. For fucking enjoying content people saw as problematic.

People act like they're doing this to help people or a cause but let's be honest what good are you fucking doing beefing with random people on social media ? What are you acheiving ? You can't tell me people don't find personal satisfaction in feeling morally superior to someone.

This rant was ruminating in my brain for a long time I'd argue even before the Green Bitch was in the picture but it definitely became the tipping point for me to realise that the majority of people on the Internet are just Awful.

Hi! I’m a different anon. I promise. I really don’t want to upset anyone, so feel free to ignore me if you want. Though, your response to that last anon confuses me a bit. Why is it a bad thing to point out when someone doesn’t get unspoken rules and stuff like that? I don’t get that stuff a lot, and I’m pretty sure that it’s not just a me kind of thing, so… I’m confused as to why that last asker was being offensive.

Well for one I didn’t take it that way. That it was about the unspoken rules. More so because I actually don’t understand how it was?

I don’t understand the unspoken rules of society. I don’t. I’m loud, I don’t have great volume control so when I’m told I’m loud I get to quiet. I never liked eye contact but after being scolded for never making it I just stare at people which is unnerving. I don’t understand when to interject into a conversation and try to wait for pauses. I don’t understand why things are, why something is polite this way but not the other.

Those are unspoken rules.

The ask wasn’t about that. Bakugou ‘needing things explained a certain way’ wasn’t about the unspoken rules. It was about why his actions of aggression, entitlement and ego need to be addressed a ‘certain way’.

This is insulting to me because I don’t need to be told hitting isn’t okay. I don’t need to be told insulting people is wrong. I don’t need to be told that I am not the most important person in the world.

Do I need help knowing what is insulting? Do people need to explain certain things to me? Of course!

But I am not going around stomping my feet and screaming when I don’t get my way. I’m not yelling at people, demeaning them and being cruel. I’m not using weapons of mass destruction on someone else just because I can.

While yes some high needs autistic individuals can be violent or have anger issues, it isn’t always the case. And usually these people who cannot control themselves have professional care takers and others to assist them. Bakugou does not have these needs.

So for me, the assumption that I need to be carefully told in a certain way how to be a decent human being is heavily insulting. Just because I cannot understand why I need to make eye contact does not mean I don’t understand it’s not okay to hit people.

As well it’s an insult because it’s used in an attempt to slap a ‘oh he can’t help it’ label on Bakugou. By using this as an excuse, people attempt to diminish actions done by someone who is aware of what they did. This is infantalizaing to me as a person almost 30 years old who takes full accountability of my actions.

Yes I know it’s different. If Bakugou was a real person he would be a teenager who is still learning. However, if we go by how he acts he is not one of the people with high needs who is violent. If we are to say he is autistic or he has ADHD, then his actions are still his own. He is still at fault.

I get very insulted when people try to say that because someone doesn’t understand social rules or the such they’re a violent mess. Because let me tell you- even if you don’t understand the unspoken rules you learn them fucking fast as a low needs Austistic person. And again- most of these are the really stupid rules. Not the ‘hey don’t hurt people and be a dick’ rules.

It’s like the little short I wrote about the whole ‘Bakugou had IED’ thing. People just use it as an excuse and don’t do anything about it. They just say ‘oh he’s like that’ and nothing changes.

It’s insulting to me because they are using my diagnosis as a ‘oh yeah he can be as violent and rude and abusive as he likes because he can’t help it’ excuse. Fuck that- my actions are my own. I am not a damn fucking child who needs to be carefully told not to hit people cause it’s wrong.

To use it as an excuse for Bakugou is an insult to me that way. Admittedly this is more a personal issue. I’ve dealt with some assholes who either a) treated me like a dumbass child or b) accused me of lying about having autism because I’m not like their second cousin whose mother just goes ‘oh he won’t learn’ and lets the kid bite people.

So I will apologize for the anger. That’s on me and it’s more a personal thing. But I stand by why I find it offensive.

Anyone ever think about the fact that Broadway was dying and we begged and scram about accessibly when the audiences they are trying to curate could come together from far and wide if they only normalized proshots of productions, live streams of productions and made ticket prices affordable to younger audience that were hungry for the content and instead they hand over more and more roles to celebrity cast members and put up musicals about shit 80s movies to try and leech off of their fan base to feed this dying bastion of the arts that almost no one wants to think of and anything but a business any more right? Like god I’m in the theatre industry, I’m getting my MFA in theatrical design, I know what the business side of theatre looks like and what you need to do sometimes to keep a theatre a float but I also know what it looks like when people are actually trying to make fucking art and when they’re not. And recently most of what I hear about how productions update their casts or how they shut down or the new works getting put up tells me that hardly anyone is thinking about the art anymore. You’re casting Orville peck in cabaret? Maya hawke is Eurydice ? Shut the fuck up shut the fuck up shut the fuck up!! Every fucking musical is some movie remake thoughtless trash and we all fucking clap and cheer—I’m TIREDDDDDD im fucking TIRED.
