Oh wow i have a serious problem i just went over what i wrote to you and i probably should have stopped at the first two sentences but it gets me upset the abuse lando faces i dont even like the guy i perfer oscar, max, charles and carlos but even i know that sending death threats to someone is not okay, and it upsets me that people almost always take his words out of context like when did lando say he actually had a chance at winning the wdc this year? I've seen people bash on him for the latest race where max raced incredibly, but what they dont seem to understand is that the race's terrible race conditions could have actually seriously injured him, we all seem to forget that the guy is younger then max, less experienced, and has huge problems with self-worth that actively seem to affect the way he race's. the fact that max won in the rust bucket that barely seemed to work in favor of the guy is incredable, but bashing on another driver for seemingly not wanting to take a chance with the awfull race conditions (*please note that this is what it looked like to me on what lando was doing that race where he did make mistakes but the weather wasnt helping ether* also note that that franco, oliver and others commented ether on the weather being dangerous, their cars 'Presumably the cars not agreeing with the weather ether', or the fact they couldnt see for shit and out right stated that someone should have a talk with the fia *i couldnt watch the whole race but ive seen snippets of driver radio's and the like, so i cant say with 100% certainty that this is correct*)

So yeah i think that, if i as someone who doesnt like lando, its really concerning what some people say about the guy and as a side note none of the other drivers seem to notice the hate from what ive seen but this last part might just be me. What are your thoughts on the hate lando's been getting seeming to increase anytime he seems to actually want to enjoy racing with the other more popular (equally popular?) Drivers?

Hi anon, 

That’s okay, I will respond to this ask rather than the previous one (but just for context for anyone else the previous ask was about fan fiction so wan’t anything mean). This ended up being a really lengthy answer because I have lots of thoughts!!! 

I’ll put the answer under the cut and tag as anti Lando despite this really just being my opinion and I personally don’t think I am being particularly harsh here but maybe people will disagree.

Firstly hopefully to most people it goes without saying that sending death threats is not okay, that goes for any of the drivers (and various other individuals that I have seen targeted over the past few years). I also have never understood people specifically going to an individual’s social media page just to spout negativity or abuse at them, if you don’t like someone you don’t need to follow them. 

However, I am surprised that people seem to be shocked that Lando is receiving hate online as this is absolutely nothing new and, if I am being honest, I have seen worse (not that this is a competition!).

I will speak from the perspective of being a Max supporter and say that the abuse he has received both online and at track has been appalling over the years. After Silverstone 2021 there were plenty of comments from people saying he ‘deserved’ such an awful crash or that they wished it had been worse. Even this year there were memes going around saying that maybe we needed a repeat of Silverstone 21 (a meme liked by Lando’s dad no less, not that I think we should be blaming children for their parent’s actions!). Not only that but there is rarely a week that goes by that I don’t see jokes online about how Jos is the only one that ‘can beat Max’ or people posting memes about Max being left at a gas station when he does badly. Max needed a bodyguard in Mexico last year because there were concerns over death threats, he’s been booed up on the podium, had people chanting cheat at him in the fan zone, every comment section on his social media includes comments telling him he is a cheat or that his achievements mean nothing. The British media are like vultures any time there is even a hint of controversy. I don’t know why everyone is suddenly up in arms about Lando receiving hate, perhaps its a case of only caring when it happens to ‘their’ driver. 

It doesn’t just happen to Max either. I don’t follow Lewis on social media but I still know the type or racist abuse he has faced over the years. Other drivers also receive abuse - Lance for example has vile things said about him, Nicholas Latifi was sent death threats after 2021. I am sure most if not every driver has experienced some level of hate. Social media can be extremely toxic. 

Do I think any of the drivers should have to deal with such toxicity? No, but Lando is nowhere near the only one to receive hate and I don’t think someone like Max who appears ‘strong’ should have to put up with things because people get the impression it doesn’t bother him.

Whether the other drivers notice, well probably they do but its not happening just to Lando. Did Lando realise how much toxicity was being thrown at Max after Austria or Mexico? Did he try and calm things with the media or did he double down and make things worse for Max? 

As for taking Lando’s words out of context. That definitely happens from time to time, the same as with any driver. Media goes for clickbait headlines and run with them. The problem is that Lando has also said things that haven’t been taken out of context and that people still find distasteful. The comments about it not being talent and being luck did not come across well. I was tempted to give him the benefit on that one and assume he was referring to himself and saying it was not him being untalented but unlucky but then he doubled down by saying nobody deserved to win the race more than George - how can I take that any other way other than the fact he was saying Max didn’t ‘deserve’ to win the race. 

As for Lando saying he thought he could win the WDC, if he didn’t think he could win it this year then to me that would be more of a concern. He has a championship winning car and has done for most the season, if he can’t win it now then when?! He should have been confident that he could win or at least put up a good fight. I would have had no problem with him openly saying he is going for the championship. Look at Charles who is not afraid to say that whilst it is still possible he is still fighting. I think part of the problem here lies with Mclaren because they should have been fully backing Lando and hyping him up but seemed to flip flop back and forth about whether they thought he was truly in the fight. It’s hardly going to give Lando confidence when his team don’t seem to be backing him as strongly as they could be. 

As for Brazil, Lando didn’t have a great race. George got past him at the start. He made too many errors. Charles finished in front of him despite starting behind him. Max, Esteban and Pierre took a risk staying out on those worn inters, they gambled on the fact the race would be red flagged but also on their abilities and confidence to keep the car on track under those conditions. They all did extremely well and deserved their podium spots. The most important thing though is that all the drivers came away without serious injuries because over the course of that weekend there were numerous occasions where entertainment was put over safety. If a driver felt they had to pit for safety reasons then I am glad they took that step.

Lando is younger than Max but I don’t think we need to baby him in terms of his racing or in terms of giving him a free pass with what he says in the media. He is 24 years old, the same age Max was when Max won his first championship under very intense pressure. 

I think you are correct about confidence or self worth affecting him. Whilst I wouldn't like to comment to much on his mentality, to me (and I don’t tend to watch too many of his interviews so I could be wrong) he seems to flop back and forth between being overly critical of himself and then also not taking accountability and saying someone else just had the fastest car or were lucky. I think it would be really good for him to be able to look as objectively as possible about where he has actually made mistakes and can improve but also being able to pick out the things he has done well and be proud of those things. 

Overall I don’t think any drivers should have to put up with the amount of hate that they have to put up with but Lando is not the only one to receive hate and, dare I say it, I don’t even think it has been as vicious as some of the things I have seen over the years. Social media is toxic and people should be more mindful and realise these are real people - all of them!! 

Also, once again lets be thankful that nobody was seriously hurt over the weekend and lets hope the Fia take steps to act more swiftly when safety cars and red flags are needed and that they put safety above other concerns.

I’m gonna be honest I don’t understand how people can be hazbin hotel fans and just know everything vivziepop has done and dont care or they choose to pretend they dont know so they dont have to feel guilty about it. Shocking news, you can be INCREDIBLY critical of media you enjoy parts of. I enjoy parts of this show but I’m not going to go buy shit to watch it and support some random lady using a closed religion to make her tumblr sexyman character look “scary”.

I saw someone say vivziepop misgendering someone (allegedly on accident) after getting mad, was a “nothing sandwich” which 1. No the fuck it aint. And also 2. Are you actually off your rocker nuts. I don’t give a fuck if it was an accident heat of the moment thing. Sure you can apologise for that, not me who you misgendered so I cant accept it, but misgendering anyone is never a “nothing sandwich”. Same guy also said that vivzie demonising and appropriating vodou was okay because “Alastor can do it” That… doesn’t fucking matter? VIVZIE can’t practice vodou and neither can her weird red suited deer man, sorry to burst your bubble.

I think everyone thats scrolled even a few inches on my blog (cause really thats all I have) can tell I like Angel Dust. Lots of people like Angel Dust. But apparently half of those people can’t comprehend you can dislike aspects of a character while liking other ones. I mean this directed toward fans by the way. Id sure as hell prefer if he wasn’t fucking fetishised for being a gay man but its vivziepop so literally what can I expect from the lady that makes merch glorifying his abuse. “Yes vivzie! Id love to purchase merch of a traumatic situation ive also been in! It’s so fucking weird how her spin-off show has better representation, humour, writing, and more than her actual main show. Im super glad Helluva Boss is good. Im glad there isn’t any stupid racist representations in there or overly fetishised gay men. Fizzaroli and Ozzie are a cute couple thats written very nicely but even they have elements of vivziepops unsavoury interests that you can see sometimes, but oh my god. Put some of that care into your MAIN show. I am holding out so much hope that vivzie continues the good writing of episodes 7 & 8 so much I am not going to stop noting that, but I am also fully ready to crash and burn from those hopes and that is so fucking disappointing.

But after all of this, she really didn’t win anything

Lute was just finishing a practice spar on the practice grounds with a male angel, who could be called her ‘acquaintance’. She had a lot of winners to choose her to practice without of any other skilled exterminator, and she wasn’t sure why, but she took them up anyway. The angel was on the ground, as Lute stared down at him, slightly giggling. “You did great! Really.” She said as kind words of encouragement. She really meant these words, but the winner didn’t think so. “You’re just saying this to cheer me up aren’t you?” He asks as he watches the woman infront of him giggle, and grin. “No I’m serious.” Lute said as she still laughed a bit. She enjoyed the others’ company, but she still preferred someone else, but many of her admirers wouldn’t understand. So, another one tried to ask her out. “Do you..maybe wanna go out?” He asked with a bit of worry hoping for an answer, but in the spark of the moment, both of them were lost a bit on the battleground and didn’t hear the approaching footsteps.

Adam walked onto the battleground, seemingly expecting Lute to be alone, as she didn’t tell him if there was anyone else for practice and she promised him to go out to try some new place in Heaven after this. Although when he saw the scene, he knew what was going on. He was quite familiar with Lute’s admirers and was quite jealous of them, as he stepped in the scene, quietly approaching Lute from behind. Before anyone could say anything, he grabbed Lute by the back in a gentle way, and pulled her away from the angel. Both the angel and exterminator were quite confused. Adam spoke with his usual voice, loud and clear but this time, it had a slight jealous tone in it. “Danger Tits! I was looking everywhere for you. Oh, who’s this ‘friend’ of yours?” He asks as he glared down at the angel who was quite shocked and a bit confused as to what was going on but he tried introducing himself anyway. “Uhm, well I’m her friend and we were just planning to go ou-“ Before he could finish, Adam has already interrupted him, as he was holding Lute, who was blushing quite close to himself. “Oh no. I didn’t hear an answer from her yet, and besides…she already promised to try out some new place, and it’s gonna be just us.” Adam spoke, as he glared down the angel before himself. “Oh, uh I’m sorry. I guess I should leave now.” The angel spoke as his voice was filled with a bit of sadness, and he knew that the ‘spark’ has died down now. He didn’t have a chance with Lute anymore, and just left with a sigh escaping him.

Adam let his grip loosen a bit on Lute, to make sure she was still comfortable, as he looked at her. “Who was that?” He asked with annoyance in his voice, as he slightly scoffed. “Oh it was just some guy, I took up for training actually.” Lute said with a bit of nervousness in her voice, as she still tried processing the situation that just happened. She clearly heard and felt Adam being slightly overprotective of her, and maybe just, maybe she liked it. “He better be. You know how I hate those guys.” Adam said with irritation, but he didn’t let that take over, as he paused for a moment. “Aanyway, are you ready to check those new places out? I heard they’re pretty good.” He spoke with his usual careless and entertained voice, as he waited for a reply. “Of course I am. How’s that a question?” She asked as she slightly giggled, as Adam grabbed her by the waist, pulling her a bit closer to himself, as he chuckled as well, walking out of the battleground as they shared some usual chit-chat between each other.

The two definitely enjoyed their time together, as they tried out the new places. It was quite fun if both of them admit, but Lute was never gonna forget, how grateful she was when she saw and heard Adam step in. She really liked hanging out with others sure, but she couldn’t deny that her favourite time was hanging out with her secret lover, having fun together.

The bell rang and there she was storming out as fast as possible, Kyle didnt really understand why she did that, why she was so desperate to leave. She didnt have anywhere to be? He'd know of course.

I think I’ve watched 95% of all of Roier’s qsmp streams, I’m just missing a few that I watched Cellbit’s pov of, and then the first week of qsmp streams. He was my first Hispanic pov, and I chose right because he’s the guy that stayed! :D

im confident enough to post FFAK, which has anal prolapse, but i dont post the true drama....... my opinions about manga. *dramatic music* sometimes i kinda want to do some reviews.. its mostly me complaining.. it makes me sound so bitter like "do you like anything kosmic!" and..yes ! i do!!! okay!! i like a lot of things. once in a while, i dip my toes into a popular series to try to see if we are a good fit. Series like: Beastars, Dorohedoro, Dungeon meshi,ect.. and i kind. well. I dont like any of them LMAO. I mean, Ok, i actually really was into Beastars for a time, but after the fight with the bear guy (its been a few years sorry) and that story arc concluded.. it just spiraled to laughable levels and did not recover. I was genuinely laughing at it at times bc it kind of felt like a desperate scramble with the like. loopholes and power upgrades.. But I was invested for a time, it had a charm to me! I also loved the art and im curious about the authors next series about santa (partly because i too, am writing a story about santa). Dorohedoro has a great visual style, fun characters, i enjoyed reading but it also kinda didnt ...land for me beyond that, which is a shame. I feel like it is a series that "should" have clicked with me. And its like, not offensive to me but.. I'll forget that ive read the whole thing. I like STUFF in it. but thats not enough for me anymore. If i had read it when i was younger tho, it might have been a diff story. idk. My most unpopular opinion of all is that... I hated Dungeon Meshi.. Sure its ..pretty! cute designs. but i found it SO painfully boring and it actually was a struggle to finish. in the end, it felt like a waste of time.. SHOCKING take i know. That is the darling of everyones heart and i like, understand WHY its popular. .. but for me, i was not fed by anything. i am unfed and starved and going to eat elsewhere oh, and i.. as a person who has read a lot of fighting mangas.. I have tried to read chainsaw man, but i dont know if I can. I did finish Fire Punch. I'm surprised to say: i kinda liked it but it took a long time to force myself to read thru it. I honestly hated many aspects of Fujimoto's storytelling/character acting that i didn't think my opinion on it would change, but I'm a little more open to it now. I dont think i could ever super be into it or whatever, but i did find genuine enjoyment in aspects of fire punch. I did not really like look back. I haven't read his other one shot(s)? Where am i going with all this..I guess im giving some unrequested reviews after all...oops... a lot of this is spurred by how houseki no kuni is one of my most fav series, not only visually/characters/story/ect.. but i cant lie.... the ending... was kind of a flop for me... gorgeous and poetic ig sure but.. on the topic of CoD charachters as animals, Merrick strikes me as a bear. dunno ENTIRELY why. i saw this other post montttthhhssss back(more like a year ago) of someone headcannoning that Merrick kind of instinctively starts watching out for the Walker brother's/doting on them more after Elias' death and i REALLY resonate with that.

he takes care of his cubs :) definitely gets protective of the two brothers after his best friends death. (also headcannon that Elias and Merrick were closer buds than we got to see. those two definitely drink beer together.) Merrick seems like the kind of guy to have never seen himself as a father figure, its just an instinctive move after Elias dies since the two boys are still pretty young adults. (dunno if the person said all this in their posts, i have zero way of finding them again 😭😭)

Keegan, i feel like, leaned alot on Elias (probably without realizing it). i just see a kinship between Keegan, Elias and Merrick. Keegan seems to be by Merrick's side ALOT and i feel like HE feels he belongs there. not reliant just.. connected. soul brothers, really.

and if it wasnt Logan and Hesh who were fucked up over Elias' death, it was Keegan and Merrick. Merrick lost a bestfriend, Keegan lost a friend maybe even a father/uncle figure.

mostly Merrick gives me uncle vibes, though. Elias is a father figure, someone to lean on / someone to really show you how to do something and help you through hard times with insanely good advice. and Merrick's just the awkward, un-tech savvy uncle. i refuse to elaborate any further.

my personal headcannon for Logan is that hes semi-mute. i dont, personally, headcannon him as someone with full mutism but i do feel like he doesnt speak 90% of the time and shocks everyone whenever he does speak.

out of everyone, Logan mostly speaks to Hesh. whenever Logan does speak, i feel like its aimed, USUALLY, at Hesh and nobody else in the room. keeps ot brief but sometimes has an actual back and forth while Merrick and Keegan are just reeling.

Merrick, wanting to help understand Logan better and show he cares more after Elias' death, put time aside to learn sign language for Logan's 'no talk days'. definitely mixes up a few signs and still has alot to learn but it surprises Logan and the man feels heard. definitely better than Logan having to rely on Hesh fully to communicate what Logan's trying to say / Logan having to fumble and point out different things and use unconventional means to try and get something across.

things of note that i think are fun.... nene and rui had major questioning phases pre-wxs about being aroace. i'd imagine nene being really confused why everyone around her seemed so interested in dating and romance and the whole amatanormative feel of dramatic media and such. it's in so many plays, and people get in so many shipping wars/draw suggestive art for games. it's hard to ignore as a theater kid and gamer. she didn't get it and felt isolated. she came across the term aroace online but had a hard time accepting that she might be that, but eventually silently embraced it. rui on the other hand knew full well he was not like other people. he's not the kind of guy who would pick and choose a crush that isn't there. being aroace and a middle/high schooler made him feel even more lonely and alienated from his peers. he agknowledged the fact he was aroace pretty easily, but it took him a lot longer to accept that isn't a bad thing at all.

emu and tsukasa had NO clue they were aroace. did not occur to them at all. emu had to be told it was a thing and she went "huh? OHHH THATS ME !!!! :D". skipped teh entire questioning/am i broken stage and went right to "hehehehehehe". (though other people don't believe her that often. emu is so full of love. how could someone like her not fall in love with other people? she's too young. she hasn't met the right person yet. it's just a phase. her siblings started off as ignorantly aphobic, but then realized the fault of their ways and learned.). my hc for tsukasa is a bit different than other peoples, but i am fully convinced he thought he was bisexual for teh LONGEST time. "guys and girls can both be good looking, so i must be bi! yeah the extent of my feelings is "they're cool" ... what do you mean that's not what a crush is". it was a shocking revelation to him that people actually want to kiss/have sex for real. he's accepted being aroace and actively embraces it, though he still feels connected to teh bi label. he'd like the concept of tertiary attraction and probably label as bi aroace, to honor both.

i like to think that tsukasa accidentally came out first (accidentally meaning he simply forgot to tell them and then was surprised when they were all surprised). emu was like !!!!! omg samsies and nene laughed and came out, too. wxs were the first people rui ever said the words "aromantic asexual" out loud to.

i personally think aroace polyshow never actually labeled themeselves as such, but BOY do tehy act like they're all married. they just care about each other soooooo much. its platonic its queer platonic its romantic its everything all blended together. if its them, they can do anything. with the shared knowledge of being aroace, they all also sort of feel more comfortable being openly affectionate, yknow? there's no risk of misinterpretation of intent- they love each other. they love each other in a way that they cannot describe and most people wouldn't understand. they are tied by their love of shows and their love of each other. emu is really physically affectionate and they all feel safe cuddling with her. rui lightheartedly flirts and half the time i dont think he even realizes he's doing it, the other half he's just trying to be silly. nene excels in the silent acts of love, making sure the stage is clean and there's always a few snacks backstage and honeslty just being there for everyone.

oh also they never do romance plays ever. it was a revelation tehy only came to after coming out. it just... never occured to them to do one. and now that they all know none of them can fall in love they actively try and avoid it. they've re-written fables to be about the power of friendship, or re-imagined the tale to the point romance wouldn't even be on anyone's mind. it's not a theme the audience ever picks up on, but at the same time they do? they don't realize the pattern but nobody ever comes out of a show with that interpretation. their shows are a hit every time, too. before we get started, GREAT cameo from the duras sisters. i was initially really annoyed with their tit windows but im becoming rather fond

i really liked "the family protector guy "k'mter" at first because he said all the right things to alexander...like, it's scary not being able to defend yourself, etc. then he also was a dick to alexander and i was really exasperated...but then he IS alexander so that totally fixes it. he's angry with himself and conflicted and just wants a HUG FROM HIS DAD and that FIXED it!!! like when he said "nobody will look at you and see a human you are alone on this ship" initially it felt like racism but it being like, not quite self-loathing but just bitter experience...that's actually so clever

this is the only episode where they brought up alexander's mom kind of hating ""klingon stuff"" and how that could possibly have negatively impacted him and it only got two lines of dialogue but still. i think it's really damning that she hated her own heritage and also brought her kid up to hate it and now he's sort of out here...pretending to be human, almost, to the point where he doesn't want to participate in hsi own culture or even bond with his own father (a klingon). like it sucks so bad for him

i was afraid that the plot twist would be "k'mter talks alexander into wanting to be a warrior after all just when worf realizes he doesn't have to be" which would have been sad but a real "oh shit" of an ending. mixed feelings about them not doing that but i understand why they wanted to properly wrap things up for s7

i almost forgot but rare w for picard for bending the rules a little bit to give worf time to go to the klingon festival with his kid. credit where it is due

like, the fact that he can lie about it even while under significant distress.........king. like you could say oh that's the true one because that's the one where he was physically unwell but he also referred to "elim" in that one which gives it the ring of a potential falsehood

Laughter With You | Darkest Man

"Home school is back!" Sharky spoke, as he raised his hands in the air, earning a cheer from all the others there, you, Darkest, Harry, and Filly. "Yes, this is the show where fully grown adults take on school children at maths, science, and history. Plus a bonus round of English for our special guest."

"Yes, I know this sounds unfair, but when you find out who the contestants are for this season, you'll realise that the kids actually have an advantage." Sharky grinned as he looked around to the others, a shocked look on their faces, offended at what he just said, mumbling that what he said was rude although a smile on their faces peaked through.

"So do you guys wanna introduce yourselves?" You laughed, clasping your hands together as you glanced around the room.

This was a new season of home schooled and you got invited on for a special first video. Normally, there would be 3 people battling this 6 year old, named Timmy, but they decided that since it was the first video back for the season, they let you join in for the extra round. (Darkest also may or may not have begged for you to be in a video together to the producers)

Filly started to speak first since he was already at the table with little Timmy starting off, "Hello everyone, I'm Yung Filly, and I like to say a little slogan that goes like yeahh man!"

Harry, Darkest, and you were all sitting on the famous homeschooled couch, going in order to introduce yourselves to the camera.

Harry spoke next, the camera turning to him, "Yeah, uh, my name's HP like the sauce, Harry Pinero, but today I am Quincu Osafia."

"Hello, my name is Darkest Man, aka darkest of men and I, uh, decorate traffic lights."

Everyone laughed, including you suddenly clutching onto Darkest's arm as you laughed. It was so random, but it did make the video all the more funnier, saying the same thing all the time would have been boring.

"Hey there, I'm Allygater, aka Ally and the special guest for today's video!" You raised your hands, as everyone shouted a welcome to you, and you bowed, saying thank you, not forgetting of course to point to the young boy, Timmy, and introducing himself as the other special guest but an opponent on today's video.

The first subject was maths, Filly up against Timmy, and everyone beating him up about how he's definitely not going to win this one.

During the middle of Filly's subject, someone's phone began to ring, all turning your heads as you see Harry bending to grab his phone.

Sharky going over to reach and take Harry's phone, "I'm gonna have to confiscate your phone, no phones in the classroom."

Harry protested and repeatedly kept saying, "It's my son." A chuckle came from out of you, looking over at Darkest as he had the exact same thought as you.

"Wait, how have you got a son in school?" You spoke, causing everyone to laugh too, earning a look from Harry as he grudgingly handed his phone to Sharky.

"Wait, wait, what year is this, Mr. Sharky?" You asked, trying to hold in your laughter, as you glanced around at everyone's faces, them doing the same.

"This is Year 2."

That's when you couldn't hold it in anymore. You burst out laughing as you clutched onto your stomach, Filly saying, "Year 2, and you got yute already?" That definitely did not make it any better as you laughed your heart out, tears forming slightly as everyone made it worse by adding more comments onto it.

"Imagine being like, sorry sir, I have to go pick up my son." Harry put on the funniest baby voice ever that got you all cracking up.

"Who picked you up from school then?" Darkest added, As he saw the look on your face, he laughed harder, grabbing your hand as you both laughed together.

Darkest smiled as he watched you try and help the kid, with answers against Filly, sneakily coughing and then saying the answer, to which Sharky pretended not to notice.

Both you and Darkest ended up helping the kid at times with the answers to the questions. Despite Filly shouting, "That's cheating," it made it more funnier to do so.

"The answer is," you coughed, "The 80s," coughing again.

"No no Ally it's," coughs even louder, "Harry Pineros time," followed by another cough.

Your eyes widened as you stifled a laugh, Harry sending a glare between the both of you as you just violated his age for what seemed like the 10th time this whole video.

It was now science, Darkest's turn. Sharky introduced him, saying that both Filly and Harry have lost against a six year old, but Darkest has the chance to steal the win.

You cheered, whooping, "You got this!"

Darkest's cheeks turned a small pink, a bashful smile appearing on his face as he said, "Aw, thanks babe."

You raised a brow, "Not you, the kid."

A cough choked out of Filly next to you as he started laughing, yelling, "Ain't no way, she just did that to you, bruva!"

Harry and Sharky follow suit with laughter. After hearing what you said, Harry shaked his head with a laugh as he kept repeating over, "Absolute violation. Absolute Violation."

Darkest slumping over, putting his head on the table with a dejected look, although you knew it was fake, you still couldn't help but let a small frown on your face.

"Sorry, love you though, it was too funny to resist." You apologised, sending an apologetic smile Darkest's way. Earning an eye roll from him, making the rest of you all laugh.

"Ok, so, how am I doing so far? What's the score?" Darkest asked Sharky, turning to him.

"It is... 3-3" Sharky responded, a shocked look appearing as he raised his brows. "If you get this next point, you win."

"Wow, babe, I thought you were dumb. But now I guess you're only a little bit dumb." You smirked, Darkest gasped, placing a hand on his chest, taking "offence."

"How could my own girlfriend call me dumb?See Timmy, a great example of why you should never date."

Now it was your turn to be shocked, scoffing as your mouth was left agape, slowing reaching over to cover your mouth with your hand.

Shaking your head as you slowly said, "You. Did. Not."

"Ohh couple scrap!" Harry said, clutching onto Filly's arm as he laughed.

"Not in my classroom anyways, take your couple problems and go." Sharky pointed towards the outer set, the camera crew waving towards you both.

"How are you lot in year 2 and are dating already? Mental." Filly chuckled, remembering what you said earlier about this class being "year 2."

You were up next, the other three grown ass men not winning against the six year old. This was going to be interesting, the subject was English. And even though you were from Norway, you were going to ace this.

Darkest wouldn't be able to say anything afterwards when I win. You thought to yourself, a shit eating grin arising.

"Now your question is, how do you spell Asylum?" Sharky asked, looking back down at his notes to make sure he got it right in his head too.

"Wow, fits perfectly for this video." Darkest admitted, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned back into the sofa.

"And why is that?" You asked, looking down at your board as you wrote.

"Because you're a lunatic." He spoke, plain and simple, gazing straight into your blue eyes. If you looked hard enough, you'd see his gaze soften just by glancing your way.

Harry put a hand on his friend's shoulder, whispering, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear, "That's why you feel in love with her, though, right? You're one as well."

"Aww, that's cute though, innit? I like seeing interactions like these." Filly giggled, watching the both of you.

"I thought he was gonna say because this is on Footasylum, didn't expect that, though." Sharky said as he put down his cards to turn to you and Timmy, as you buzzed first.

Turning to show your board, Sharky looked at you and then his cards, nodding his head, "That is correct!"

You bowed, "See? I can spell."

"Good job." Timmy said in the cutest voice. All of you turned to say, "Aww," you side hugged the little man, saying, "He is so cute, honestly."

You could guess that when you looked up, Darkest's brows furrowed, watching the scene in front of him. Yes, he thought it was cute too, but maybe he was a little bit jealous.

As if reading his mind, "Watch out, Darkest, Timmy's gonna steal your gyal." Filly laughed as he saw Darkest's reaction, earning a smack from the guy.

"HE'S SIX YEARS OLD HE AIN'T STEALING NOTHING."

You smiled, letting go of Timmy, and sitting upright properly. Darkest being jealous was something you definitely didn't know you'd see today but it was cute in a way.

You ended up giving the win to Timmy. Even though Darkest chewed you out for it, he gave you the longest hug afterwards, and you wouldn't have it any other way right now.🫶

ok so I'm gonna list them and explain when they figure it out and how they react to it then (i am eepy so sorry if this seems disjointed but hey we don't choose when the spark comes do we AND I might redo these later if I think of more well thought out answers later)

Asra

They definitely had their suspicions after he was able to break those chains and bind The Devil but it didn't truly click with him until Danny got his familiar. then he was just kind of like... ohhh. okay that makes sense. he doesnt see it as a negative thing, he's very open minded- especially when it comes to magic and its mysterious ways. basically just... gestures at this fic. it's something he knows quite a bit before Danny does but he lets him figure it out himself, and theyre patient with him because they understand it must be hard to learn you're associated with the guy that quite literally tried to fuck everything up. they do actually see it as a positive thing. like, a challenge in his perspective which he always enjoys, if that makes any sense. in conclusion it doesn't put him off in the slightest even though Danny thinks it really should

Nadia

its hard to say because it's not something she's necessarily looking for. she's a smart lady! she just doesn't have the familiarity with Tarot that say, Asra does, so she doesn't necessarily have the knowledge to put it together besides the card games she would play with her sisters as a kid- and even then that was a completely different deck. that being said her intuition game is insane so she has a *feeling*. you know. she knows there's more to him than there appears to be but I don't think it'd click until he came to her with that information. and- something to note is Danny's associations with this card- well they aren't great. he's only an apprentice after all and he doesn't quite get the nuances completely yet. he has very black and white thinking at times. so he himself takes this as a very negative thing- especially considering everything The Devil has done to everyone. so he's kind of a nervous wreck telling her this but he trusts her and feels like she should know. anyway how Nadia takes it is. kind of like "oh I just knew Lucio was too incompetent to be associated with him" like it makes a lot of sense to her. Danny's smart! so was The Devil. Lucio is well... Lucio. Nadia would also have quite a bit of wisdom about it I think. she really kind of grounds him in that way when he's torn up over it I guess. she's just kind of like "well. destiny is a nice thought but you do have free will so dont worry about this meaning youre secretly evil. youre just Danny and you always will be" i think she's said things in a similar vain before. ALSO ALSO her choice for his masquerade outfit ended up making more sense in hindsight. she does have a feel for these things sometimes without realizing it... like giving Lucio a dog mask. I feel like I did a whole lot of yapping and said a whole lot of nothing with this one. point is she takes it with grace and its not something she's worried about or shocked by

I'm struggling here because it's not a belief system he seems to be super invested in. sure he asks for a tarot reading in the prologue but he's always been more of a science guy and he quite literally doesn't know magic when he's staring it in the cauldron- so I don't know exactly how he would process this information? (as for how he learns- he's absolutely not figuring this out himself so Danny comes to him with this) and for the reason of confusion I feel like he'd take it the hardest. Danny's worried and Danny's a skilled magician, right? he really knows what hes talking about. so this has GOT to be bad, or he wouldn't be so worked up, right? and i mean, The Devil is the bad guy in so many fables. what's going to happen to him? is there any way they can stop it? should they just give up trying and stop worrying and give into their "true nature" (woohoo hanged man trait) whatever that means? he doesnt know. he doesnt know how this magic system works. he just tells Danny not to worry about it, just ignore it, but he does plenty of worrying for the both of them. walks on eggshells for a bit. keeps making accidental goat puns and putting his foot in his mouth. goes to Asra for advice. Asra tells him to chill the fuck out. you know how it is

Muriel

he's not... surprised when Danny comes to him. he's known for forever, because of his prophetic visions. he just gave up telling him because he always forgot anyway, and he didn't tell Asra because he didn't want them to take it the wrong way. but it's always something that made him... wary of Danny. he's had dreams of him absorbing The Devil's heart and taking over the world (vision of Lucios reversed end) and he's had visions of he and Asra being stranded in another dimension after making a deal with him (Asras reversed end) ...but he's also had visions of him sailing the world with Julian. or hell, even finding safety with Muriel himself. he's really wary because he doesn't quite know what to expect from him and it makes him nervous- not necessarily because he's The Devil, just, in general, but that association definitely doesn't put him at ease considering Lucio's obsession with him. Muriel hates goats because of it. but, when Danny comes to him he's just kind of like "I know" which catches him off guard and he's just kind of like "didn't see the point in telling you" which Danny's like okay fair, however-

Portia

oh she thinks it's so cool when Danny tells her. she already thought it was cool he came back from the dead (i believe the words she used were "zombie magician") and she treats it like one of her romance novels with the tortured and mysterious love interest. she's just like oh. well now you're even more charming. like a vampire. youre more complex now. WHICH IS NOT HOW DANNY THOUGHT SHED REACT. but she does think it's super cool (her only context for what The Devil is is, The Goat Guy so she sees it as like. you were supposed to be his henchman and then you weren't. if that makes sense) he insists that this isn't a good thing and she insists that he could literally murder someone and she would still love him (platonically or romantically!)

Lucio

JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS he really did identify with that card and he's devastated to learn it's not actually his and he got a "lame" card instead. but it does piss him off a lot because he hates being, what he perceives to be anything but "one of a kind" or "first place" at anything. why does he wanna be a card that sounds like such an insult when he could be a cool goat instead? it's no fair! he would call Arcana managers if he could but instead he settles for- depending on the route either chokes out a "congratulations" which surprises Danny or, if it's Lucio's route, he figures oh well if you can't be em date em. little does he realize just how special his own card is. because he's. well he's stupid. anyway he'd be lying if he said it didn't make him love Danny more
