I really have to say, i’m so, so blown away by the love for simmer and our wee linecook. after camp, I really didn’t anticipate getting sucked into a story like this again and i’m having so much fun writing what was supposed to be just a little miniseries of blurbs. there wasn’t much planning involved in this story and i’m always so surprised at the reactions each chapter gets.

In my headcanon, Kremy did indeed always have a love for unicorns deep down (cause even after they left the carnival, Kremy still loves unicorns) but wouldn’t ever say anything about it because god forbid he look soft or weak, but then his found family just immediately jumped on board with his love for the mythical creatures and he figured out “oh. This ain’t so bad. If they still respect me, then whatever else anyone thinks doesn’t matter” and happily declared it for anyone to hear

following on from this. not to always bring marc into everything (sorry marc) but if assen 2015 had happened against jorge, valentino would have very likely pulled something similar again imo. rather than what he actually did, which is approach marc almost immediately for a nice normal friendly handshake and backing off during the podium celebrations. should be noted that during laguna seca '08, valentino was very much committed to yapping at casey on the podium with the world's biggest smuggest grin on his face

partly that disparity is because jorge not marc was the direct title rival, partly it's because valentino was treating marc with kid gloves right until the second that he wasn't, which marc was seemingly entirely oblivious to. if anyone other than marc had said what he said in that presser, had then continued on with similar rhetoric during sachsenring, valentino would quite likely have gone nuclear. he's done it over less than that. his fondness for marc made him continue to exhibit uncharacteristic restraint... except that fondness unfortunately is what left valentino feeling so very betrayed when (to his eyes) marc could not leave well enough alone

Nothing is more disappointing then reading the book where we see actual physical evidence of petunia and Thea hanging out together, but it’s the worst one in the series and their interaction is just them failing the bechdel test. And a poor utilization of their characters…can’t say this is a fun discovery for yuriville but it is what it is…

Anyways uhhhh I hate Run for the Hills Geronimo, bad writing, bad utilisation of characters

i love all of the snippet prompts i have been getting, but i am going to have to somewhat draw a line in the sand... i will do my very best to get as many of them done as i can but some of the more recent prompts i will possibly not do, or i will leave them for some time later down the line.

this has been ridiculously fun and i've loved writing all of these!!!! i just didn't expect to get so many and it's hard not to feel guilty about not filling the prompts quickly enough. i really wanted to get caught up by the end of the month which is... today... so that hasn't happened, and i'm trying to not feel guilty about that but alas... there's a handful of early prompts that i will try my best to get done over the next week, but then after that i make no promises!

between these snippets and continuing to update i have written about 20k words this month which is maybe not a lot for some people but for me that is A Lot... and again i've had the time of my life with these, i just want to put a disclaimer out there basically in attempt to feel less guilty. this is me just talking into the void now

theres a hypothetical instance of asylumstuck being written well and not incredibly offensive and yet every single time i see some old asylumstuck posts i am blown away by how they manage to get literally every depiction of mental illness incorrect. its like they googled the symptoms and then deliberately wrote against the reality of those illnesses. its like they googled awful stereotypes about mentally ill (mostly psychotic or suicidal people) and made it their personal project to include as many as they could

The way Jungkook panicked, running towards where she was 🫠 I see you, Kookie, is someone starting to care 👀. Also loved seeing all their powers a little more, and the Jimin and Tae moment was very cute.
