I phrased this poorly. It reads like I intended to do something to "fix" something that's wrong with the villages that are already there in Beta 1.8, but really the issues that exist at this point in NBODE are there only because I've been trying for many weeks to add something to villages, and in that pursuit I more recently I left a trail of world gen destabilization behind me as I went. I need to fix that and fix my understanding and approach as a programmer to writing something new in them.
There's almost nothing wrong with the villages in Beta 1.8 before. I kind of just like the abandoned rando place thing they do. Plus I didn't ruin the cobblestone look I think and Beta 1.8 had no stinker villagers. The problem fixing would be undoing a lot of damage I did to Mojang's code and figuring out how to add my new village extension with proper implementation once and for all.
Still wasn't up for any coding today though.
I like the thought of fixing village problems in my Minecraft mod, but right now I'm shattered. After finishing the time step patch for my standalone jam entry video game last night, I don't want to do anything.
