Akechi is playing mindgames that lead him to accidentally eat the spiciest takoyaki ever and almost die in front of his crush/enemy, invites his crush/enemy out to have a drink and play darts together while convincing himself it's for his mission to find out if protagonist is a phantom thief or not. And then everything goes bad and everyone dies and comes back and joker and akechi make out in the laundromat or something."

i just finished madoka magica, and honestly, what drives me so insane about it is how it's just another example of what's been shown throughout the entire show; madoka just loves people. she's not a savior or a hero, she's not a morally pure being, she's a teen girl who loves people too much to let them suffer if she has a chance to stop it all, even if it means reducing her own existence into a rule of the universe.

madoka's love for humanity, despite the horrors she's been forced to witness, despite the evils she knows humans are capable of, she can't let go of that love for other people that she holds. it's her fatal flaw. her achilles heel. her most fundamentally defining quality.

and she's survived by someone who hates humanity, but loves her enough to keep fighting anyways, because it's what she wants. all the love that madoka puts out into the universe is returned right back to her in the form of homura.

i was thinking about madohomu and i came up with this idea that i had to draw immediatly !! ultimately i think the concept doesn’t work as well as i wanted to, but i still like the drawing a lot :P i’ve been trying new rendering styles and different things lately and i think im very happy with what im doing now!! but i still want to try more stuff to find a style i’m actually comfortable with 🙂‍↕️ anyway i rlly like the rendering of this drawing so here’s a homura only ver. of this drawing lol !! i hope you like it hehe

now. madoka magica spoilers here // oh i love PMMM so much ,,, but madohomu specifically makes me INSANE!! what a good ship and what an interesting dynamic. some thoughts that inspired me to draw this: isn’t it crazy that homura created thousands of timelines with madoka as the core and only reason of them existing? isn’t it crazy how homura, out of her wish of saving her, tied her to a fate and a responsibility she couldn’t even understand? yeah. yeah. this show makes me crazy…. anyway! i really want to do something cooler with this concept and draw more madoka magica and madohomu art 😋 but for now im happy with this drawing lol<3

The pure symbolism and imagery of Kyoko's "don't waste food" moment being followed up by the next episodes involving Sayaka refusing to use any grief seeds, and the unfortunate consequences of it, is genuinely great
