Hot tub time ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و
Ellie x reader modern au/slice of life
I have a hot tub but we need to get it fixed. I’m literally so eager so I wrote this LMAO. I LOVE SLICE OF LIFE ELLIE X READER SM!! Expect a bunch more, I have so many ideas written down😚 Im so sappy grrrr,,, I already wrote kinky ass sex so here’s soft sex for u guys😋
C/w: smut lol. Ellie + reader have their own house YAHOO! A bit of fluff in this one >•<. Au but Joel is still dead 😞. He’s mentioned like once. Cunnilingus😝 (r! Receiving) I feel so awkward using y/n like seriously and unironically ahhhh.
W/c: 2.4k

“I’m actually so fucking bored I’m gonna gouge my eyes out.”
You scoff and roll your eyes. Ellie is always so damn dramatic. You glance over and she’s pretending to pull her hair out, large fistfuls in each hand.
You playfully shove her, “Okay, shut up Ellie.” And you both laugh. It was winter, and she was right… sadly. There was nothing to do during this time of year. Well, besides stay in and cuddle. The only problem was.. you’ve already done that. You two were both off work for the holidays, and you’ve already spent the wholeeeee vacation laying in bed together, so you guessed that Ellie wanted to do something a little more active.
“Wanna play Mario kart? I think the switch is in the bedroom.” You try suggesting, absentmindedly rubbing her leg.
“Nah,” she stretches her arms out on the couch, “Somethin’ more like physical yknow. Gotta keep these pretty muscles toned.” She winks at you, and you roll your eyes.
“You’re actually such a gym rat, you should just live there at this point.” You smirk to yourself, examining your nails.
“Maybe if I did I wouldn’t constantly trip on all the shit you leave around here.” Ellie remarks back, lightly kicking you on the knee.
“Hey, I keep it pretty clean considering we both share a room, thank you very much.” You cross your arms and huff.
Ellie gasps and starts kicking you more, so you yelp and start shoving her away. Suddenly she stops, holding out both her hands. “Holy fuck, babe. Yknow what I forgot about?”
“Huh.”
“Hot tub.”
You sit up at lighting speed, “OH DAMN YOURE RIGHT!” You actually can’t believe you forgot about that thing. You try to remember the last time you even used it.. must have been last summer. The hot tub was one of things that you’re OBSESSED with at first, but then you use it one too many times and you forget about it for a couple months. And then the cycle continues.
Ellie leaps off the couch and bolts down the hall. “GET YOUR SWIMSUIT ON WE ARE GOING IN!!”
~
You come outside and see Ellie lifting up the top of the hot tub. The whole things underneath a roof outside, so there’s not much snow in the porch where you two are standing, but it’s still really cold. You look up at the sky. The sun is starting to set, it’s been a little over an hour since you two had dinner. Delicious deer soup that Ellie made from when she went hunting a couple days ago. You always said that if Ellie was stuck in a post apocalyptic world, she would survive.
You suddenly remember the cold air hitting you, breaking you out of your thoughts of your girlfriend. You shiver, and pull the robe you’re wearing tighter around your body. You glance over at Ellie still messing with the top of the hot tub. All Ellie’s wearing is her classic swimsuit: plain black top and swim shorts. Her tattoo flexes as she finally pops the top off and turns the hot tub on.
You jump up and down in your slippers, trying to move to stay warm. “Ellieeee how much longer?”
She reaches down into the water and starts poking around at the buttons and jets. “Hold your horses, y/n, I gotta check all the filters n shit. Haven’t used this in a hot minute.”
“Mmmm I know but it’s cold.” You groan in protest. You know damn well you’re being a brat, but you swear you’re not built for any weather too hot or too cold.
“Well you wanna shut up and help me? Make it go by faster..” She looks up at you and you shake your head vigorously. “Yeah thas’ what I thought.” She smirks at you.
After what felt like foreverrrrr in the cold, Ellie turns the jets on and says you can hop in. There’s steam coming off the water as it hits the cold air. You can barley wait, you’re hyping the hot tub up in your mind. It’s something that feels like a luxury to you. The only thing that can make you stop thinking about your precious hot tub is your precious Ellie. You look up at her and get butterflies, even though you two have been dating for about 2 years now. She looks soooo beautiful, just standing there, folding up the tarp from the tub. You shake your head, thinking it’s so damn stupid to be drooling over your girlfriend who’s literally just standing there, doing the most mundane possible thing.
Some snow falls on top of your head so you brush it off. It’s getting too cold for you. You lick your lips, turning around to shed your rob, you’re still slightly shy undressing in front of Ellie, even though you’re still in a swimsuit. You hang your cute pink robe up on the hook where the towels you brought out are.
Turning back around to head into the tub, you see Ellie with her back towards you, messing around with the water guns from last summer. You check her out unapologetically, looking at her ass before you snap into reality again and take your slippers off to step into the hot tub. The hot water feels like it burns your skin, compared to the cold winter air. You take a couple minutes slowly sliding more of your body deeper into the water.
Ellie turns around, with one water gun still in her hand. “Feel alright, babe? Not too hot?”
You sink in deeper, up to your neck, “Mm feels good.” And then rise up again slowly, “Come in, Els. I’m gettin’ bored in here.”
“Oh yeah?” She closes one eye and lifts up the gun, suddenly shooting a short stream of cold ass water at you. “Not so bored now, huh?” She laughs and walks closer to you.
Your jaw drops and you scream when the water hits you, “ELLIEEEEE WHAT THE FUCKKKK!”
“What?” She fakes a pout, lowering the water gun. “I told you I gotta keep these muscles in good shape, right?”
Before you can retort, she’s already getting in the hot tub. “God, shove over. I’m freezing.” She accidentally splashes you as she’s hastily getting in.
“Ellieeeee! Don’t splash me! >~<“ you whine, but she just laughs, and this time splashes you on purpose. You sigh dramatically at all her antics.
She doesn’t reply, and just sinks in deeper, and you take no shame in watching her stretch her body out. Ellie groans slightly at the hot water enveloping her body. You sigh and blink at her, watching her eyebrows furrow. She slowly leans her head back against the headrest of the hot tub. You swear she’s egging you on, because she moans softly, giving you the perfect view of her neck, which she knows is your favorite place to kiss her. Suddenly, Ellie opens her eyes and says something that breaks you out of the trance you’ve had all day, “You keep lookin’ at me. What’s goin’ on?”
You let yourself float away from her in the water ever so slightly, “Nothing. I’m not looking at you.”
“Yknow I can like,,, feel your eyes burning into my back whenever you stare at me.”
You cover your face with your hands and
face away from her. She laughs to herself. She finds it so cute you still get flustered around her even after all this time you’ve been together.
“That’s too bad because I’m reallyyyy not looking at you.”
Instead of a snarky remark back, Ellie’s abnormally silent. You slowly bring your hands down to face her again, and she’s just looking at you with this look in her eyes. You think it’s somewhere in between concern and contemplation. “You trust me, right?” She says softly, after a few moments. You’re surprised, this is probably the quietest Ellie’s ever been with you.
“Of course I do. What’s wrong, Ellie?” Her tone is completely different than what you’re used to. This only happens on the rare occasion you guys have a disagreement. Or when you talk about something serious.
“Jus’ don’t want you thinking I’m gonna leave you.” She says, almost ashamed. She’s fidgeting with her fingers like how she always does, and avoiding your gaze.
You laugh softly. “Were you….. going to?” You can feel your heart rate speeding up.
Ellie’s eyes widen, “No. no no no.” She sighs, slowly, taking a few moments to collect her thoughts. “I get scared thinking about the future.” She mutters.
You look up at her. You knew Ellie gets scared. Of course she does. When she told you about Joel dying on what, your second date, you knew she’s not as… sturdy.. as she pretends to be sometimes. But that was in the past, and to hear Ellie admit she is worried about her own life ahead of her.. honestly made you surprised.
“Like.. I just want you to know that I’m always gonna be here for you.” She looks so concerned, like she might cry if you guys talk about this for any longer. She’s still looking down, trying to make herself smaller.
“Oh, Ellie.” You raise your hand up and softly tilt her chin to look at you. “I know. Okay? And nothing bad is gonna happen to you. Or me. Or us.”
She looks into your eyes for a second, before she gently tucks your hair behind your ear, leans in, and kisses you.
The kiss is as soft as she’s been talking - all emotion and thought as her lips move slowly against yours. She puts her hand on the back of your neck, pulling you in closer. You sigh into the kiss. She was so tender with you right now. You were so used to fervent and desperate make out sessions with her. Not that that was bad, at all, but you didn’t realize how nice of a change this was until it was happening. You grab her waist, pulling her in closer to you. All of her is so soft and warm against you: her lips, tattooed arm, thighs.. and not just because you two were in the hot tub.
She pulls away to look at you, and you want to melt from the look on her face. She looks like she’s actually in heaven.
“I really love you.”
You smile softly at her, tracing over her tattoo lightly with your finger. “I love you too.” You pull her back into a kiss. After a couple more minutes, she’s more intent with her movements, like how she usually is. She’s not afraid to run her hands over your thighs and squeeze you nipple under your swimsuit.
You gasp at the sudden contact, and moan a little into her mouth.
She pulls away, “Cmon, baby. Need more of that.” and kisses you again, almost immediately licking your bottom lip, asking for entrance. She’s not as soft anymore, back to her usual self wanting to make you moan in pleasure as she works your body. You don’t even try fighting for dominance, just letting her tongue dance around yours as she pleases.
“Ellie…” is all you have to say, and she understands, shifting her position to let you have more of her. You want to press yourself down onto her, and please you both at the same time. You lift your legs up, trying to hook them around her, but you start floating away in the water. You’re not even going fast, it’s so comical how slow the jets are pushing you. You snort and reach out to grab Ellie’s hand.
“Ohmygod!” Ellie starts laughing and she grabs your hand, “Can’t exactly scissor in the water, I guess.” You blush and scoff at how forward she can be.
“Cmere. Let’s get ya propped up.”
You untie the knots on you bikini bottoms to take them off, tossing them somewhere you’ll pick up later. She grabs your hand and gently guides you to sit on the edge of the hot tub, on one of the corners so you don’t lean back and fall off. She brings your arm down to her face, and kisses you on the back of the hand. You smile and giggle. You swear you feel like a little girl again. You’re a princess and Ellie is your prince. You glance up at the sky - the sun is setting. An array of orange and pinks.
Ellie’s below you, turning down the jets of the tub a little, and getting into her favorite position: right between your thighs. You really couldn’t ask for a more perfect fantasy if you tried.
“This okay?” She asks, lightly rubbing your thigh with her thumb.
“Yes,” you breathe out, “please, Ellie.”
From where she is, you’re practically a goddess towering above her. You feel powerful and confident, and fucking desperate, wanting Ellie to just devour you already.
Ellie only hums in response before kissing your clit. You gasp sharply, you swear no matter how many times she eats you out you could never get used to the heavenly feeling. Her tongue starts lapping you up, and you moan loudly. You silently thank the neighbors for never being outside late during the winter, and that the hot tub is reasonably private, so no one can see you.
Maybe it’s just the cold frigid night air in comparison to Ellie’s warm, wet mouth, but you swear this is some of the best head she’s ever given you. Ellie never stopped licking and kissing at your clit - eventually she didn’t know if you were shaking from the sex or shivering because of the cold, but either way, she could tell from the volume of your moans that you weren’t going to last much longer.
“Mmmmmm- gonna cum soon..”
Ellie just nods, her face still buried into you. You can feel her cute little nose bumping up against you, and both her hands are up on your knees, spreading your thighs open for her.
She knows you’re close when you start whimpering and gasping for air.
“Ohmygod ohmygod Ellie,, fuck- you’re gonna make me cum..”
As soon as you warn her you’re throwing your head back, and your hips snap up as your orgasm takes over you. She keeps licking you clean until your breathing slows and you let yourself sink back down into the hot water.
You can’t even think of anything to say, so you grab Ellie’s arm and wrap it around you, as a way to ask her to cuddle you.
“Always such a cuddle bug after you cum..” Ellie mutters, mostly to herself, as she rests her head on yours.
You just chuckle and look up into the sky as the sun finally sets. You sigh in and out the cold winter air. Ellie kisses the top of your head, whispering one more ‘I love you’ as she pulls you closer into her arms.

The Jet
“Can this thing fly any faster?” Bucky’s voice was tense, almost frantic.
Sam rolled his eyes, trying to keep calm despite Bucky’s agitation. “It’s going as fast as it can”
“It’s not fast enough!” Bucky snapped, slamming his fist against the plane’s wall in frustration.
“And it won’t go any faster if you punch holes in it,” Sam shot back, trying to keep his voice steady, though he couldn’t help the edge of irritation that slipped through.
Bucky let out a heavy sigh, collapsing back into his seat. He dragged his hands over his face, his groan muffled by his palms. “I’m so stupid, Sam. So stupid.”
“Well, that I already knew,” Sam quipped, forcing a small laugh to lighten the mood. But when Bucky didn’t respond, he grew serious. “What happened, man? I’m in the dark here.”
Bucky stared blankly at the floor, lost in thought. “We went to this diner, the one that’s still around from before… the one they kept as a monument for Steve, it used to be our hangout spot, the three of us.” A faint, bittersweet smile crossed his lips as he remembered. “I didn’t go there planning to do what I did, Sam….you gotta know that. But when she looked at me, she had so much joy and love in her eyes. She was talking about one of the times we went there, and I just… panicked. I can’t be him anymore, the guy I was before. That’s not me…I couldn’t sit there and pretend, so I asked for space… she gave me the ring back. The one I proposed to her with before I got shipped out, and that’s that.”
“Wow,” Sam muttered, trying to process everything.
“I know I’m an idiot,” Bucky sighed, the weight of his actions pressing down on him.
Sam took a deep breath, piecing it together. “This all makes sense now… and yeah, you messed up. But Bucky, she knows you’re not the same as you were then—because she isn’t either. She knew when Steve, her, and I were trying to find you, that there was a good chance you wouldn’t even recognize her, or even yourself. But she still fought for you, because guess what, Bucky? People do love you. She and Steve loved you unconditionally. You’ve gotta fix this before it’s—what the hell?”
Sam’s words were cut off as both men’s eyes were drawn to the side of the plane, where a glowing, sparking gold circle appeared out of thin air. Through the portal stepped Doctor Strange, looking battle-worn and weary.
“We have a problem,” Strange announced, his voice grim.
—
1940s
The sky above you was a soft shade of twilight, stars just beginning to flicker to life, but the weight of the world was closing in. The future felt too fragile, too uncertain, and the warmth of Bucky’s embrace, though comforting, couldn’t shake the feeling gnawing at the edges of your thoughts.
Bucky pressed a kiss to the top of your head, his lips lingering there for a moment longer than usual, as if he, too, was trying to anchor himself to the present. “You know I’d never let anything happen to you, right?” His voice was quiet, almost pleading.
You nodded, but the fear was still there, gnawing at you. “I just can’t stop thinking… What if everything changes? What if something happens that we can’t control?”
Bucky’s grip around you tightened, his chest rising and falling steadily beneath your cheek. “Things might change, doll, but us? We don’t change. You’re my forever, remember?”
You swallowed hard, the weight of the moment pressing down on you both. “And what about the war?” you whispered, the question hanging heavy in the air. “What if it takes you away from me?”
Bucky’s jaw clenched, but he didn’t answer right away. You felt him shift slightly, his fingers lacing with yours, holding on as if the force of his grip alone could stop the world from pulling him away. “I can’t pretend I’m not scared,” he admitted softly, “but I’m coming back to you. No matter what. I’ll find my way back.”
You looked up at him, your eyes meeting his. “You promise?”
He leaned down, his forehead resting against yours. “With everything I’ve got, doll... You and me, we’re forever.”
The chill in the air seemed sharper now, and you shivered, not just from the cold, but from the creeping sense that forever was a promise neither of you could keep. The world was shifting, and though you held on to each other tightly, you couldn’t shake the feeling that everything was about to change.
“I just wish I could freeze time,” you whispered, tears threatening to fall again“Stay here like this, with you.”
Bucky smiled softly, the kind of smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Me too…” He paused, his hand brushing through your hair. “But we’ve got this moment, and no matter what happens, no one can take this from us…No one will ever take you from me, your my forever darling”
You closed your eyes, letting the rhythm of his heartbeat soothe you, willing yourself to believe that he was right—that love alone could defy the odds, even with the looming shadow of war.
The stars above twinkled, indifferent to the fears swirling beneath them, and as the night deepened, you held on tighter to Bucky, praying with every part of you that this wouldn’t be the last night you’d ever feel his arms around you.
But that small voice in the back of your mind whispered again, reminding you that promises, no matter how heartfelt, couldn’t always stand against the tide of fate
—
The Switch
“Do I need to do anything?” Peter’s voice trembled with panic. The whole situation was too surreal to grasp—how could it be real? The fact that you were willing to leave your entire world behind for him was something he couldn’t wrap his mind around. But he knew better than to argue. You were a grown woman—a hundred-year-old with superpowers, no less—and he was more than ready to go wherever this ride took him.
“Just give me your hand, okay?”
Peter gave you the sweetest, most genuine smile “That, I can do.”
Your sweaty, trembling hand gripped tightly onto his. As you watched the eldest Peter completely disappear into the rift, you could hear Doctor Strange shouting at you, trying to hold you back. You felt something pulling, trying to keep you anchored to your reality, but the pull towards Peter was stronger, more intense, more powerful. As he began to be pulled back into his universe, you closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. You focused on matching your cells with his, synchronizing your energy to merge with his reality, making it easier for you to follow him.
You concentrated on the connection you shared with Peter 3, using it as an anchor to tie you to his universe. You poured every ounce of hope, every fiber of your being, into making this work.
The energy around you intensified, the power almost overwhelming as you held on to Peter 3’s presence. Slowly, you felt the shift, the sensation of being drawn through the cracks of reality. The world around you began to blur, the familiar sights and sounds fading into the background as you were pulled into a new reality—one where you and Peter 3 might finally have a chance.
When the particles around you finally settled, the breeze that brushed against your skin felt different. You opened your eyes and met Peter’s warm brown gaze, so different from the blue you were used to.
“Holy shit, you’re actually here.” Peter took a step back, his hands on his head in disbelief. “I didn’t think it would work—not that I doubted you or anything, I just—” He gestured wildly, mimicking the sound of an explosion.
You giggled, the sound bubbling up unexpectedly. “I didn’t think I could either. I just… I don’t even know.” You paused, spinning around to take in your surroundings. The sky was darker here, the sun setting in this universe while it was just rising in yours. “It feels different here.”
Peter nodded, his smile softening as he watched you. “Yeah, it does. But… it’s good, right?”
You took a deep breath, feeling the cool evening air fill your lungs. “Yeah, it’s good. Really good.”
He stepped closer, his hand finding yours once more, his grip firm and reassuring. “So… what now?”
You looked up at him, the man you’d crossed realities to be with, and smiled. “Now… we figure this out together. One step at a time.”
Peter’s eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. “Together?”
“Together,” you confirmed, squeezing his hand
And as the stars began to twinkle in the sky of this new universe, you couldn’t help but feel that, for the first time in a long time, you were exactly where you were meant to be.
—
The Portal
“What do you mean a different universe?” Bucky was pacing, his confusion and frustration evident. He barely understood how to work his flip phone, but this? This was way out of his league.
“I mean exactly what it sounds like,” Strange replied, glancing between the two of them. “Y/N crossed over to another universe—the one where the other Spider-Man is from.”
“How the hell did she even do that?” Sam stepped forward, placing a calming hand on Bucky’s shoulder to stop his relentless pacing. “I thought her powers were limited to controlling the elements—y’know, wind, water, earth, the whole shebang.”
“It’s more complicated than that.”
“What do you mean?” Bucky snapped, his voice tinged with anger. “You’re being real vague, Doc, and I’m not liking it!”
“It’s Doctor—” Strange corrected, but quickly moved on. “Her powers are complex. They evolve over time, They can become whatever she needs them to be. But being in another universe? That’s a whole different story. How do I put this lightly…”
“Don’t,” Sam interjected, his voice firm. “Just tell us straight.”
Strange nodded solemnly. “She could, no she will die. Slowly perish without even realizing it. What’s kept her alive all this time is tied to our universe. Without it, the death that should’ve claimed her 80 years ago might catch up to her.”
Sam shot a questioning look at Bucky before turning back to Strange. “How did you even know about her death? Steve said only Stark and he knew.”
“To become Sorcerer Supreme, certain timelines had to be reviewed—hers was one of them.”
“Why hers?” Sam pressed.
Strange’s expression was grave. “Because she has the potential to end our entire existence—or help save it. We can’t afford to lose her.”
He turned, creating another portal with a flick of his wrist. “You both need to come with me.”
“Can’t you wait until we land? We’re almost there,” Sam pointed out.
“No,” Strange’s voice was resolute. “This is vital. Now. And I’m not asking.”
Sam grabbed Bucky’s arm, pulling him through the portal. “You’ve been quiet—oddly quiet,” Sam observed as they entered the Sanctum.
“I just don’t understand how he could let her go,” Bucky muttered, bitterness seeping into his voice. “Did you even try to stop her?”
Strange turned to face them, his gaze steely. “I was busy saving the rest of the universe. Look, I get it—she’s your friend. But she’s more than that to this universe. It will collapse if we don’t get her back, so the less you waste time with this crap, the better.”
“How do we do that? How do we help?” Sam asked, stepping slightly in front of Bucky, ready to take action.
“We’re going to need more help,” Strange replied, eyeing them both seriously. “Give me about a minute.” He opened up another portal and was about to step through it when he turned back around. “And don’t touch anything.”
“This is crazy,” Sam sighed, sitting down on the stairs in the Sanctum. “Why would she just leave her universe for a guy she barely knows? It doesn’t sound like her.”
“I don’t know,” Bucky gritted his teeth, frustration boiling over. “I don’t know why I broke up with her. I don’t know why Steve left. I don’t know why she left! Everyone just leaves! Maybe you should go too, Sam—that’s all anyone does, isn’t it? Leave.”
“Buck, come on,” Sam started, his voice gentle, trying to reach him.
But Bucky scoffed, his voice tinged with bitterness. “What if they both fought so hard to save me, and then just left? She left willingly. Why should I go and save her, huh?”
Sam opened his mouth to respond when a voice, one they hadn’t heard in months, answered for him.
“Because you love her.”
Bucky froze, his eyes wide with shock. “Steve?”
And there he was—Steve Rogers, standing in the shadows, looking every bit as strong and resolute as Bucky remembered. The weight of the world seemed to lift off Bucky’s shoulders, if only for a moment, as he stared at the man who had been his friend for nearly a century.

Happy Saturday! Today we have a couple of asks about our post from yesterday + some of miscellaneous ones about some ships + a long ask with Anon reflecting on this hc post about twst characters murdering someone for the first time. I don’t have much to add to that one, but the ask itself is a very interesting read, so I encourage you to check it out.
Anonymous asked:
Just saw the new art on twitter and I just gotta say:
PRAISE BE!! THE RAILING HAS FINALLY OCCURRED!!!
YES!! GOOD FOR THEM BOYS! <3
We honestly didn’t think we’d draw these two again so soon, but the inspiration bit us in the asses lol I’m very happy that the image of Jack and Deuce having fun like that exists in the universe now…
Anonymous asked:
Deuce and Jack are basically buddy clubmates who have sweet times together, while Ace has to deal with two unhinged Floyd and Jamil will likely torment Ace. Ace is not sane but compare to Floyd and Jamil, he is basically normal.
Oh Jamil is not that bad… is he? Oh no, is he? Is Jamil bad?
In all honesty, I remember him throwing Ace under the bus and I’d assume that he’d be a tease sometimes lol So I can imagine how this + having A WHOLE FLOYD around would make Ace’s basketball career much more miserable than whatever Deuce and Jack have going on.
Anonymous asked:
Seeing your Cater drawings made me think that poor guy has to deal with Adeuce and Treyriddle happily making out while he has no choice but pretend he's okay being the only one in the Heartslabyul group being single af (I saw that you don't ship him with anyone so I'm just labeling as single here)
AHHH POOR CATER— To be honest, Cater is a victim of us first watching twst (the first four books) with an official ENG translation; rewatching it now, he feels much more understandable and fun as a character. But alas, we still don’t have any ships with him that would click with us enough to ship-ship him with someone ✊😔
So for now he’s #singleaf, but honestly seeing just how much trouble the other guys cause to each other at all times, he’s probably better off like that lol
Anonymous asked:
What are your thoughts/feelings/headcanons for silver x kailm?
We talked about them a couple of times here and there!
In short: we don’t necessarily ship them, the dynamic is just not our cup of tea, but their relationship are very sweet and could be interesting.
Anonymous asked:
Even though I'm not as big a fan of Jackpel as I am of JackVil, I do enjoy a good love triangle between them.
It could be interesting! We’re not super invested in either of the ships to be honest, but there are fun aspects to both of them, and jealousy could add another layer to Epel’s and Vil’s antagonism towards each other. Especially considering that it’d probably be Epel who’d be jealous, not Vil.
Poor Jack has no idea what’s going on…
Anonymous asked:
I just read your post about "how the twst cast might feel about murder/murdering. " Which left me wondering how the Twst cast might feel/think about life and death.
I feel like non-human characters such as Octovinelle, Savanaclaw, and diasomnia might view it differently than humans.
In Octavinelle and Savanaclaw case, i think topics such as Murder and/or cannibalism aren't necessarily seen as 'wrong' or 'bad'. I think we can all agree that nature is scary, and to survive, you'll have to be on top of the food chain. and in order to survive, you'll have to 'Kill' someone from your kind to eat or protect yourself.
A perfect example would be Ruggie: he came from poverty. His mother died shortly after giving birth to him, and his father's whereabouts are unknown after he claimed to leave for work. He was raised by his grandma. He did a few odd jobs here and there in order to get around. So i think he would know what 'survival' might feel like or how far someone might go to survive. I bet he went through agonising days and nights starving for food. I wouldn't put it past him to do (or already did) shady things to survive. Also, apparently, Ruggie can chew through bone, which hyenas also do! Nice bonus.
Then there's the Leech twins. Jade did mention once that their parents taught them self-defense when they were little, and their Mom often worries about them. It's also implied that they 'lost' a lot of their siblings. The coral sea that they came from are dark and cold, and most of the food they consume down there is raw. So i wouldn't put it past them to be completely desensitised from all the gory aspects of life not only because of survival but because of their "business" connections their father has. They have probably seen a lot of unhinged things since they were little.
BUT i do think that the Leech twins are a special case, lol. Unlike the other non-human characters, i believe that both of them would not only 'kill' in to survive but also because of boredom. You know how often these two mentioned how they hate to get bored and how they want to be amused? Yeah, i bet they killed/harassed a few mers just because they got bored and wanted entertainment. And it's not unheard of to hear/read about animals in the wild harassing other animals for entertainment, for example Some dolphins have been observed slapping little fish around for fun, or even tossing them up on a beach to watch them suffocate slowly. Again, nature's cruel.
As for the fae? it's hard to say, but seeing as they've been alive for so long (especially Lilia) and, of course, the war that happened in the past. I think it's fair to say that they see life and death in a different light than humans. But do fae have to kill in order to survive? i'm not entirely sure.
That being said, of course, there are expectations of humans doing the same thing or thinking the same thing, just like the non-humans. I mean, have you seen Rook? ;-;
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Anon! Like I already said, I don’t really have much to add, but I’m glad you enjoyed the original post and thought about the topic yourself. Yes, both merpeople and beastpeople would have different level of tolerance and understanding of the cycle of life and death than just regular people. Different morals and different norms due to having completely different circumstances.
God reading about Ruggie made me think again about just how out of touch Leona actually is sifuhisduhs
I also remembered about the Leech twins talking about Halloween and how many kids disappear every year, and how when Floyd went missing they pretty much accepted that Jade was going to be the only child now. Of course it would be a devastating thing, but definitely not something shockingly unusual, and it’s an interesting thing to consider. Oh and of course these two would kill for fun, we know they are considered really dangerous even by the merpeople standards lol
As for fae, I’m not sure if they have the same necessity to kill to survive, but there are so many different types of fae, so maybe it differs from one species to another. The fact that they live longer and are in general tougher than human beings would make them a bit too “careless” around people though: people are too fragile, their lives are short and they are afraid of death. I feel like it’s not very common for fae to reflect on these things either; I think Lilia’s position on the matter is quite rare. The grandpa is very open-minded…

I just want to put out there I have been more myself in the past 3 months than I have the past 2 years.
What I've learned is that a lot of people can't take what they give. Or they don't even recognize their behavior is wrong because they just twist it around to make it ok.
I know I'm not the most perfect ever. I raise my voice, I get upset, I vent a lot, and don't have the best track history on dating. But i at least apologize for the actions I have done.
It's funny to tell someone they are codependent and treat friends poorly when you are 2x as worse and sadly they are so self absorbed that you don't see it.
You reached out to me, you kept calling me, you kept asking to hang out, pressuring me to do so, making me bad and like a loser for not wanting to. So i caved and yes it was fun but lets not forget that you pushed every button of mine and then if i did to you its not ok?
From calling me a name I hated to purposely embarrassed me in front of friends or even strangers. You made seem like its ok for everyone to bully me, make fun of me, and poke all my buttons. So yes when you have expressed yourself so many times in many different ways people will snap. Loss their temper. Is ok for me to do that, no.
I tried to my hardest to show that I cared, loved, and show appreciation. You made it seem ok to just contact anytime since you did that to me and got annoyed if I didn't answer. You're excuse for that when I would do the same and you got upset you were kidding. no you were.
This is only the beginning I can list off all the awful things you did to me and I didn't say a word. You used me as a uber driver, you used me as a cover in the past for your ex, you used me up until you didn't need me anymore. You found someone new and you wanted to get rid of me so this is the route that was taken.
You somehow twisted an logical action I took to not make anyone feel embarrassed anymore than you already were. You tried to make everything about yourself. Sorry not tried you did. A man had a wonderful story and you made it about you. The silence was insane after what came out of your mouth. Thats when I knew we can't continuing being here. I did not want you do to something that you will regret like you always do when you drink too much.
When I just wanted to get my mind off of things you made it about yourself again. Like you did in the beginning of the year. It's sad really for myself that I stayed around even seeing and knowing the signs but I ignored it because they all made me feel insane.
Just a reminder, you guys always reached out to me and I did to you guys too. So lets all stop pretending that you guys had me around in your lives because you felt sorry for me. You knew I was a very loyal person which you guys needed in the moment until you found something more new and shiny.
Again, I've been doing better without you guys because I don't feel like i'm always being judged for every little thing I do. I'm doing what makes me happy, have people in my life that show the care I show to them, I'm taking care of myself better, I have gotta the help I need while doing so I found out a lot about myself and I believe the anti-anxiety and antidepressant I'm on now I feel motived to keep moving forward and try my hardest to not look back. lol.
I'm also getting laid. so suck on that lol

Oh my God, starting off hot and strong in the opener here. 🥵 I was not prepared loll!
Beau's hands, my lord does he have talents. 😩 "Lazy early morning" smut is one of my favorites to read, tbh.
But aww he got her a coffee maker!! Love it. 🤣
And this case is getting more and more interesting. I genuinely have no idea who the killer is yet, but I'm very intrigued to find out more. All the more intrigued that she's a woman, but concerning that she's seemingly got a focus on the reader. Her and Beau didn't cheat, but I'm curious if the killer will target them at any point and throw the nuances out of the window lol.
He gasped in disbelief. “They wrote that on the internet? Why would they do that?” “You’re such a guy,” Cassie teased him with a chuckle.
LMFAO Oh, sweet Beau. He really doesn't have a clue about the true depths of the interwebs. 😂 And "femmefatale187" -- of course that's the suspects user loll. I love all the little details you're weaving, like the meaning of 187. I know you've told me already about your original fiction, but here I can further tell that you're invested in crime thrillers.
What if you weren’t ready to hear it? What if he wasn’t ready to say it? What if the guilt in his heart, mind, and soul was right all this time and you were never his to take? What if you would never belong to him at all?
Ahh all of these flashbacks (both smutty and angsty) are shading in their past with more and more devastating clarity. 👌🏽
“Our best bet is the IP address of the username. Until that, we just gotta sit tight, I guess.” “I hate that.” Beau sighed in frustration.
Ahh yes. Beau's a man of action. 😆
Oh Goood, that flashback with Carla was painful! And gave me a sense of foreboding for what flashback you'd likely cover next. 🥲
“You do that a lot?” Beau scratched his throat, tucking his lips between his teeth as he found himself curiously cocking his head, hoping the gesture hid the worry underneath well enough. You shrugged. “Sometimes. Not as often as I used to,” you confessed and ignored the drops of guilt that oozed from your heart. “He was a part of my life for a decade. I can’t pretend he wasn’t.”
I'm glad you covered this, because that's another healthy bit of realism to this situation. 👌🏽 But I also loved that he's finally planning on taking her for a proper date! It's about effing time lol.
But Jeezus that last flashback was painful. 😭 I knew you'd cover it at some point, but didn't mean my heart was ready for it. (Lol your little disclaimer at the end that this was indeed a flashback, and they're in love and properly together in the present. -> It doesn't hurt to remind people. 😂)
Truly, you're a wonderful storyteller. I'm very excited for you to come back next week! I'm finally posting some more Tracker stuff as well next week too.
I hope you're getting all the rest and that the kiddo is (safely) tearin' around now that he's crawling. 💕

Chapter 5: Illicit Affairs
You felt his lips ignite your skin, a trail of love down the back of your neck and shoulder blade as the sun filtered in through the trailer’s blinds behind you. You sighed blissfully, a smile dancing on your lips as you stretched your limbs in his embrace.
Your hand wandered above you, finding his full head of hair, fingers carding through the dark blond and soft strands. You could feel him grin against your skin before you felt his bulging erection pressing against your butt, causing you to push further into him on instinct.
“Mornin’,” he chuckled against the shell of your ear, his hand wandering to your front and diving between your legs. His fingers ran through your slick and stroked your sensitive bud.
“Oh God,” you whimpered and bit your bottom lip harshly. Your pussy throbbed at his touch, already feeling yourself fall over the edge. Beau could tell as well.
“Jesus,” he groaned with a gentle bite of your shoulder. “Someone’s ready.”
When his other hand snaked around your body from underneath and pulled you flush against his own like the lightest feather, his palm cupped one breast roughly, fingers playing with the pert nipple.
“Fuck me,” you mewled deliriously, your cunt screaming to be filled as his hands teased you to the brink of existence.
“I believe that’s what I’m already doing, darlin’,” he drawled, chuckling.
“Beau, please,” you begged, pushing even more against him as you searched for friction.
“Alright.”
Abandoning his teasing, he flipped you onto your stomach and straddled your thighs, prying your legs apart. His fingers did the same with your asscheeks before he threaded the aching tip of his cock through your arousal and nudged at your entrance. With one thrust, he pushed inside you till his pelvis met your cheeks. You moaned out in ecstasy when he stretched your walls with a pleasurable burn.
“Fuck, you feel good,” he groaned into your ear, his beard scraping your cheek.
One of his hands gripped the headboard above you while the other one steadied you at your waist. His hips rolled slowly as he slid in and out of you, his cock stroking your cunt at a lazy early morning pace.
It still was enough to tip you over that sweet cliff of pleasure, especially when the hand on your waist traveled to your clit and gave it a few skillful rubs with his fingers. His thrusts then gained speed, hearing his ragged breaths in your ear. Your screaming climax was muffled as you buried your face in the fluffy pillow, fingers fisting the sheets tightly.
Beau’s hips came to a stuttering halt as your cunt pulsed around him. With his last stroke, he pushed into you as deeply as he could, burying himself to the brim. His cock twitched inside your velvety walls and filled you with his warm release. He cried out and let himself drop on top of you, breathing heavily into the crook of your neck until his orgasm passed.
You could’ve easily drifted back into sleep now, your eyelids heavy as he slipped out of you with one last wet kiss to your shoulder and rolled onto his back next to you as best as he could.
The bed was small, barely fitting two, and pushed against the wall at the very end of the trailer. But it was cozy, and you liked the tight space, considering it practically forced you two to cuddle all night.
“Guess I can save the workout this morning,” Beau said, and you could hear the grin in his voice.
You chortled. “As if you would’ve actually worked out.”
“You have no idea how much I’ve hiked this summer, alright? Those mountains are no joke,” he quipped.
“Actually, I do know ‘cause Cassie told me, and she said you weren’t all that impressive,” you retorted teasingly. You could feel him rise onto his forearms behind you as the mattress dipped, looking down at you with an arched eyebrow.
“‘Scuse me, I think I just showed you impressive,” he countered, making you laugh. Chuckling himself, he pecked the top of your head. “Got a surprise for you this morning.”
“I think I’ve already gotten your surprise,” you teased and rolled onto your back, smirking up at him.
He smiled down at you. “Hilarious. But I actually think you’ll like this one even better.”
“Better than your dick? Consider me interested.”
Beau nodded with his chin to the little kitchenette. “Look over there. It’s on the stove.”
You acrobatically rolled yourself to the edge of the bed, one hand touching the floor as you stretched your neck enough to spy his little surprise for you.
“I always knew you were flexible, but damn, girl, where’s that move been?” he joked behind you. You playfully slapped his arm, Beau tickling your sides in revenge.
“No, no, no tickling!” You squirmed through your giggles and tried to fend off his attack, almost plunging out of the bed before his arms caught you and pulled you back in. Then, you finally spied his surprise. “Aww, you got me one of those Italian coffee makers for the stove. I love those!”
“Oh, I know. I remembered you have one of those at home,” he said. “Figured it’d save you some gas before you bolted to the next town over for coffee.”
“Thank you.” You grinned broadly and showed your gratitude with a deep kiss, your hands cupping his cheeks.
“You’re welcome, although you can’t keep kissin’ me like that,” he said, smiling against your lips.
“Why?”
“‘Cause if you do, you and I are gonna be very late for work,” Beau quipped, but his palms already slid up your sides, pulling you closer to him.
You only smirked in response and draped your arms around his neck. You repeated the same deep kiss and straddled his thighs, pushing him back into the mattress.
“Guess we’ll be very late.”
September 2021
A beam of light hit your eyes as you groggily blinked awake. Your skin felt sticky under the thin layer of sheets, close to burning as if you’d slept next to a radiator all night. The digital alarm clock on the nightstand read 7:03AM and 80.3°F, and it took you a strong arm tightening around your middle to realize where you were, what happened, and why you were so goddamn hot.
Beau’s breath felt like a welcoming breeze against the nape of your neck, a cool draft of air that tickled your skin. His little snores in your ear made you smile, a serene and steady lullaby that could rock you to a peaceful sleep. Something you could get used to.
Your eyes then focused on the hands that held you. Massive and calloused. Reliant and durable. Protective and safe. Your fingers found themselves mindlessly playing with his, interlocking as if they refused to ever be separated.
He stirred, and you took a deep breath to inhale his scent and memorize it, scared he would take it with him when he decided to leave. Somehow a part of you knew it wouldn’t last. It was too complicated, too intricate, too messy. It was illicit, clandestine, and sinful.
It was everything you shouldn’t want but wanted.
“Hey,” Beau rasped behind you, his voice heavy with sleep and the great unknown.
You rolled onto your back, careful and slow as not to disturb the arms that held you. You didn’t want them to retreat. “Hey,” you said in a shaky whisper, your voice jittering in rhythm with your heart.
Yet, you couldn’t help the smile that rose to your cheeks when you looked into his eyes. There was a flicker of something in them that made your whole body rejoice.
An apprehensive swallow caused his Adam’s apple to bob as if he had to will himself to choke out these next words. “Any regrets yet?” he repeated last night’s question, the look on his face anticipating you to break his heart with your answer.
Tears crept to your eyes, but you did your best not to let them fall. You’d spent over a year crying out of sadness, never believing you’d find it and feel it again. But here you were, with tears of happiness stinging your eyes, falling in love all over again.
You cupped his cheeks, fingers carding tenderly through his beard. He watched you with a curious, hopeful, and awaiting look in his eyes, unlawful glances as your noses were so close they could touch at any forbidden heartbeat.
When you shook your head, you could feel his heart expand with relief. “Mm-mm, no. I don’t regret it at all. Not you, not anything,” you assured him.
His mouth twitched to a smile, his lips quivering against yours when he kissed you so criminally ardent you thought the world might be ending outside.
And yet, you ignored the warning in your heart, foreboding this love affair between you wouldn’t end well.
It was another long afternoon as you, with the help of Jenny, Cassie, and Beau, went through tons of files, looking for a connection between the victims. You’d been at it for a week now – and that was only the time you’d spent in Montana.
The whole case had already dragged on for months and several states, each new victim making you feel like a failure. The past months were strenuous, and you were growing tired of running in circles.
You were glad about the new helping hands and fresh eyes, though.
When Beau and Jenny had to work on other cases, it was just you and Cassie. Sometimes even Denise stopped by the station to help sort through the stacks of documents and make sense of them. Most of all, she would bring a little sunshine and make the dark days feel significantly brighter.
Denise would even bribe you with baked goods if you were willing to share some intimate details about her favorite sheriff, or in her words – the big details.
Cassie threw her a scolding look at that comment, whereas Beau gave you one when you sold him out for a deliciously homemade apple pie. The taste was well worth every inch you revealed.
However, aside from the few jokes that were shared between all of you, the case itself demanded long hours, a lot of brain cells, and an abundance of strong caffeine and greasy junk food.
While the victimology was clear, you still didn’t know how the killer found out about the cheating. Every partner had been pretty discreet about their infidelity, as were the women they cheated with. No one blasted their illicit affairs over social media. After all, what sane person would?
Most of them didn’t even bring their closest friends into the loop. Some workplace liaisons were even so hush-hush not a single co-worker knew about it until a screaming wife showed up.
There was no pattern in the furtive relationships, either. Some were classics like banging the secretary, the nanny, or the hot divorcee neighbor. Some were star-crossed love affairs that started with innocent meetings in cafés, in parks, or in elevators.
Not a single thing connected each of them.
So, how did your killer pick their victims and know for sure they had the right ones?
“I think I’ve found something,” you said on the eleventh day of research and narrowed your eyes at your laptop screen as the others around the table looked up from their stack of files and glanced curiously at you.
“What did you find?” Beau asked first and got up from his seat to stand behind you, leaning his hands on the backrest of your chair. Sometimes, it felt like he wasn’t ashamed to use any excuse to be close to you, and it made your goddamn cheeks blush, your knees weak, and your heartbeat faster.
“So, apparently, some of our victims visited a site called ‘doublecross(dot)com.’ It’s a website where people who’ve been cheated on can exchange stories and seek comfort. Sixteen of our twenty-four victims all made an entry on the site’s forum. Some of them even went into great detail about their spouse’s supposed escapades.”
“What kinda detail?” Beau questioned more out of curiosity than anything else.
“‘His secretary still had his cum on her lips when I visited him at the office last week. Guess it’s a new chapstick trend no one told me about,’” you read one entry and glanced over your shoulder to catch Beau’s scrunched brow behind you. “That’s from a victim in Wyoming, Margaret Davies.”
He gasped in disbelief. “They wrote that on the internet? Why would they do that?”
“You’re such a guy,” Cassie teased him with a chuckle.
“Various reasons,” you answered his question. “Some wanted to rant, some just wanted listeners, some comfort, revenge ideas, advice… You name it.”
“Did all the victims post on the site?” Jenny asked next to you and leaned closer, looking at your screen.
“I haven’t checked them all yet, but so far, yes. The four victims in Montana did. As did two in Wyoming, four in Texas, and three in Utah and Colorado each,” you said.
“There were five victims per state, right?” Beau spoke up and mused, “We’re at four right now, so how long we got until the fifth?”
“She takes a victim every five weeks. Ten between states,” you told them.
“Alright, five victims, five states… So we’ve got three weeks left to find her,” Beau concluded with a determined nod. “What’s next?”
“First, we should find out if the remaining vics made accounts on that site as well. Then, we should crosscheck all the comments and replies on each entry and see if we have a common denominator. Maybe there’s a user who talked to every victim. That could be our killer,” you explained the next logical steps.
“Everyone takes four victims, and we cross-reference?” Cassie proposed, and everyone nodded in agreement. “Meanwhile, I’ll tell Denise to check if the other victims were on the site as well.”
“Fine.” Beau sighed dreadfully behind you and sauntered back to his seat. He hated paperwork. He was more of a “go in, guns blazing” kind of cop.
“We should keep this under wraps for now,” you advised. “Closest circle only. If I’m right, the killer is watching us. They can’t know we’re onto them, or they might spiral.”
“What about the DA?” Jenny asked.
You nodded. “I’ll meet with Newton next week and can clue her in. Let’s hope we find something till then.”
July 2022
A thin layer of sweat covered your entire body, your hair damp from the summer heat, beads forming in the nape of your neck and running down your spine. Your hand left a print behind on the fogged car window as you adjusted your grip. You always thought that was a movie cliché, only to be stunned and find out that it was indeed true.
The glass was cool for a brief moment, giving you the sensation you had craved as the heat made your head dizzy. It was not just insanely hot but downright sweltering.
“Fuck, I love that angle,” you sighed breathlessly as your cunt stroked his cock, rising your hips till he almost slipped out before you slid back down.
“Me too,” Beau groaned and smirked up at you.
Massive hands cupped your tits and held your waist as he fucked into you. Your thighs straddled him, one palm on his heart as you met him thrust by thrust. With one last roll of your hips, you came, your orgasm shaking your entire body to the point of passing out. An animalistic scream rocked the car.
Beau’s climax hit right behind yours as your pussy milked every drop of his. Pantingly, you dropped down, your hands finding better rest on his broad shoulders. He kissed your lips firmly and passionately as you both came down from your highs, his fingers dancing up and down your spine.
“Fuck, it’s hot,” you noted in breathless exhaustion as you laid your head on his chest, bodies sticking together.
“Yeah, I mean, I always knew we’d do it in the car at some point, but that even exceeded my expectations,” Beau said.
You laughed a little and grinned at him in amusement. “I meant the weather.”
“Oh.” His brows rose in realization, and he chuckled. “Yeah, that too.”
“I can’t believe this is our last night here,” you said with a quiet sigh. Your voice sounded almost sad. Probably because a part of you was.
While the circumstances of your Mexican stay were arguably the worst, you’d still miss it. The last one and a half years felt like a welcomed escape from reality. From your grief. At home, there was nothing and no one waiting for you anymore.
And then, there was the man who was currently underneath you, inside you, and kissing your lips. You didn’t know what you and Beau even were. You’d been entangled in bars, cars, and under stars in motel rooms for ten months now. Was it casual? Was it serious? Was it misguided friendship? Was it love?
You never said the words out loud or talked about your feelings, but there was always a certain heaviness in the air between you two. It was never loud. It always came in quiet moments, when you were kissing in bed and laughing and staring at each other for hours.
It felt like the two of you were caught in a bubble floating through time and space. A bubble, which was about to burst.
Could your relationship survive the reality back home?
“You okay there?” Beau had grown quite accustomed to your facial expressions and their different meanings. At this point, you were an open book to him, and he could read you flawlessly.
“I’m fine,” you replied and forced your best smile onto your lips.
Beau saw right through you. “Yeah, I’m a little sad, too,” he admitted and assured you, “Nothing’s gonna change, alright?”
Not trusting your voice, you simply nodded in response and hoped he’d stay right.
Beau debated whether he should be honest about his feelings, but it seemed too soon. Too soon after his divorce. Too soon after Randy’s death. No amount of time ever seemed to be enough.
What if you weren’t ready to hear it? What if he wasn’t ready to say it? What if the guilt in his heart, mind, and soul was right all this time and you were never his to take?
What if you would never belong to him at all?
After wiping the station’s whiteboard in the conference room clean, you wrote one single username on the surface.
femmefatale187
All of you had narrowed it down to that user. Denise had confirmed that the other eight victims had made accounts and written entries as well, which brought you to a total of twenty-four posts. And that particular user was the only one who had engaged with every single victim without fail.
Not only that, the comments even suggested a deeper relationship forming with all of them. The killer acted like their friend before a knife was aimed at their backs. If that user was indeed the killer, as Beau liked to remind you.
The four of you then had the tedious task of reading through every comment that account had ever made, going back years and several hundred user interactions. The one that piqued your interest the most, however, was the very first entry that had started it all.
“Does the number mean what I think it means?” Beau asked as he stared pensively at the whiteboard.
“Pretty sure. 187 is the code for murder in the California Penal Code. It’s gotta be. Otherwise, it’d be a weird coincidence,” you mused as you put the cap back onto the marker. “The name in general is pretty obvious. I don’t like any of this…”
“What d’you mean?” Cassie looked at you with a questioning brow.
“I mean she literally put ‘murder’ in her username. It’s too easy. It almost seems like she wants to be caught,” you explained.
“Like writing ‘redrum’ on the wall,” Beau muttered, and you pointed an eager finger at him, nodding in agreement.
“Exactly,” you said and sat back down in your chair. “I already gave everything to our tech analysts at the FBI. If she is as smart as we think she is, she hid her IP addresses and used VPNs, torrents… If they do find a name and an address this username is connected to, we should assume it’s a trap.”
“You said the first entry gives hints to her backstory,” Jenny spoke up and leaned forward in her chair. “Can we use it to track her down this way?”
Nodding, you rose from your seat once more and grabbed the marker, writing down some bullet points as you talked.
“Apparently, she was married and trying for a baby, but without any luck. She then caught her husband cheating but forgave him when he assured her it was a one-time mistake. Turns out he was actually sleeping with tons of women during their entire relationship and got five of ‘em pregnant. Meanwhile, she also discovered he’d been slipping her birth control pills in her coffee every morning.”
“Well, that guy probably won’t win ‘Husband of The Year,’” Beau quipped, chuckling, earning him a borderline scolding look from all three women.
“It’s probably why she chooses victims that ended up going back to their partner,” Cassie speculated.
“She’s punishing women that made the same mistakes she made,” Jenny concluded. “You think the husband is still alive?”
“Honestly? No,” you replied. “The username suggests she had already made up her mind when she started posting. I believe her husband and maybe the women he cheated with were her first victims.”
“Maybe we can find her that way?” Beau pondered.
“Would be a long shot. We don’t even know what state she’s from, when she was married, her husband’s name…” you explained. “Our best bet is the IP address of the username. Until that, we just gotta sit tight, I guess.”
“I hate that.” Beau sighed in frustration.
September 2022
When Beau’s lips left yours, you whined, your hands trying to keep him pressed flush against you, pulling him back into bed.
Beau chuckled. “We have to get up at some point.”
“Do we?”
“I have to get to work, and so do you,” he reminded you with a smile and pecked your lips once more. “How about you hop into the shower, and I get the coffee started, huh?”
“Fine. I guess I can be persuaded to leave this bed for caffeine,” you relented playfully. “Hey, uh, I was thinking maybe we could get dinner tonight? There’s this new pizza place I wanted to try.”
Beau swallowed, his head bobbing with a scrunched brow. Your heart twisted, only knowing too well by now what that expression meant.
“Yeah, uh, do they have take-out?”
“They do, but I figured we could go out for a change. Leave this apartment every once in a while,” you pressed.
Maybe you were being pushy, but you were getting tired of hiding. Ever since the two of you had left Mexico almost two months ago, you had been hauled up in Beau’s apartment and barely ever left. And whenever you did step out, you could tell he was nervous, always looking over his shoulder. He wouldn’t hold your hand or even touch you. The idea of kissing you in public would’ve probably sounded downright insane.
“Uhm, I don’t know. I don’t think it’s such a good idea,” he replied as expected and averted his green eyes to the floor.
“Houston has over two million other people, Beau. It’s very unlikely we’ll run into someone we know,” you argued calmly and tried to sound understanding of his feelings. It wasn’t like you didn’t get his inhibitions at all, but it still hurt your heart all the same. “If it’s Carla you’re worried about, maybe we should tell her, you know? It’d make things easier. It’s not like she’s still hung up on you. She’s been dating Avery for a year now.”
“Yeah, no, I know. We’ll get to it. I promise, okay?” Beau assured you with a smile and pecked your forehead, but his voice sounded far from convincing.
Ever since you came back to Houston, he’d been withdrawn, moving further and further away from you. You had a feeling, though, it had actually little to do with Carla and more with the guy both of you had loved.
Everywhere you went reminded you of him, his ghost still lingering around. But while you welcomed that feeling, like Randy was still watching over you, you knew Beau hated it.
He still blamed himself for what happened, no matter how many times you told him he shouldn’t. And now, the guilt of being with you had entered the equation as well.
As Beau brewed some coffee, a knock on his door forced him to leave the kitchen and answer it. As he opened it, he almost turned as white as the ghosts he was running from.
“Carla, what-, uh, what are you doing here?” Beau’s wide eyes probably showed his surprise. She’d never visited him here before in all those weeks since he’d been back. Emily was always dropped off by the building’s entrance, so he had thought himself safe here. Clearly, it’d been a false sense of security.
“Oh, Beau, don’t look so surprised. I’m not here to yell at you for having your laundry lying around,” Carla huffed in her annoyed voice. He knew that one well. “I’m not here to disturb your bachelor pad. I just need to talk to you about something important, okay?”
“It’s not a–” Beau started to argue and defend himself, but then stopped, figuring it was no use. They were already divorced. “We can talk, alright? But I’m running a little late for work. Can we do this tonight or something?”
“Alright, sure, I’ll call you at lunch,” Carla accepted, but then the sound of the shower turning off made her head tilt past him. Her brow furrowed before she let out an annoyed sigh. “Are you having someone over? Is that why you don’t wanna talk right now? Look, I don’t care if you’re seeing someone. We’ve been divorced for a year now, Beau. If we could just do this now, you’d both save us some time.”
Beau had tried several times to interrupt her, but he’d always been unsuccessful with that endeavor in the past. It was hard being married to a lawyer, especially a good one like Carla.
“Carla, no, I-… Can we please just do this tonight? I have to tell you something, too, okay? But I don’t wanna do this here right n–”
“Hey, by the way, we’re out of Pop Tarts,” you called out as you casually strolled out from the bathroom with only one of Beau’s button-ups covering your naked body. “We should go to the store la–”
As you passed the front door on your way to the kitchen, you stopped – both talking and walking. You stared at Carla like a deer in headlights and felt like Bambi’s mother shortly before she got shot.
The divorced couple stared right back at you. Beau’s eyes then closed as Carla’s lips parted in shock – and anger. She definitely looked furious.
“Carla, hey.” You forced a jittery smile to your lips, although all color drained from your cheeks. You almost choked on the giant lump in your throat.
Her eyebrows raised in disbelief before a scoff followed. She shook her head as if she wanted to shake the image of you, half-naked in her ex-husband’s shirt, in his apartment, out of her mind.
“You gotta be kidding me…” She smacked her lips with a seething glower aimed at her ex. “I’ll take it back. I do care who you’re fucking seeing.”
“Carla, listen–” Beau tried to calmly interject and keep the peace, even though he knew it was too late for that. He knew what she was thinking. They had several talks about it. Fights, actually. Fights you knew nothing about.
“I knew it!” Carla exclaimed and felt almost validated. “All this time I knew… I knew you two hooked up in Mexico. I asked you several times if there was something going on, and you kept denying it.”
“And I’m still denying it,” Beau maintained with the same firm anger she was showing. “We didn’t start dating until after the divorce.”
“Oh, and I’m supposed to believe that? How stupid do you think I am?” she snapped. “You know, I came here to talk to you about Emily’s future and give you the courtesy of having a say in the decision, but now I don’t think you should. Not after the shit you pulled all year! I put up with a lot from you – the drinking, the spacing out, the disappearing to another country for months… But I draw the line here!”
“Carla, wait–”
But for once in his life, Beau couldn’t speak fast enough as she bolted down the hallway to the elevator and was soon out of earshot. He glanced back at you, his look halfway asking if you were okay after witnessing all of this, and partially asking if he could follow his ex-wife to clear things up.
“Go,” you told him and nodded in understanding. But your heart twinged as you watched him leave.
When everyone had filtered out of the department and the night shift arrived, you knocked on Beau’s office door to announce your presence before peeking your head inside.
“Hey.” You smiled softly when his crinkled green eyes found yours with the same loving look on his face. “Ready to head home?”
His palms drummed on the table, one last glance at the files on his desk before he rose from his chair with a keen nod. “Uh, yeah, let’s go, darlin’.”
As you approached his desk, you chuckled a little, picking up the familiar football, a myriad of memories flooding your brain. “I can’t believe you still got this thing. Same one?” You doubted he’d thrown it away but found yourself still wondering.
“Course, I’d never toss this old thing out.” He smiled and caught it when you playfully threw it at him. His palms pressed into the leather. “I still do it, you know? When I’m stuck on a case, I grab the ball and pretend I’m still throwing it around with Randy, spittin’ theories.”
Your lips curved into a gentle smile. “Yeah, I still do it, too… talk to him.”
Beau swallowed at your words, his brow braided into soft crinkles. He struggled with the truth that festered in his heart like snake venom. The guilt of having you was one thing, but the shame of always wanting to have had you was another. If he had seen you first, if he hadn’t been married when you’d met, if he had asked you, would you have picked him?
“I know. And I don’t want you to think you can’t talk to me about it… him.”
You closed the distance between you, taking his hands in yours and interlacing your fingers. You squeezed them reassuringly. “He’d want us to be happy,” you reminded him and then snorted a bit in amusement. “Maybe not with each other, but the dead don’t get a say in it anymore, so it doesn’t matter. He’s my past. You’re my present… And probably my future?” Bashfully, you bit your lip at the end of your question, a smile carved into it.
“Actually about that…”
Playfully, you raised your brow and laughed. “Uh-oh.”
Beau cracked a laugh, too. “No, nothing like that. Never like that again, alright?” He cupped your cheeks in his warm and safe hands, looking deeply into your eyes as he uttered those words like an unbreakable vow, his raspy voice imparting a comforting promise.
You nodded in his hands and stretched up to kiss him, searing and slow. “So, what do you wanna tell me, Sheriff?”
“Date,” was the only word he said at first. A smile formed on his face that reached his eyes. “I wanna do it right this time. Go out, do stuff, live life. That was my biggest regret when it came to you. I don’t wanna make the same mistake twice,” he shared. His lips claimed yours, adventurous and decisive. “So, you and me ain’t going home. We’re going out. Whatever you’re in the mood for, darlin’.”
With mischievously pursed lips, you pondered your choices for a moment, although only one truly came to mind. “Mmmh, Mexican.”
“Ah! I knew it.” Beau grinned broadly. “I know a great place. Amazing Quesadillas. You’re gonna love it.”
September 2022
Beau hadn’t spoken to you in almost two weeks. After chasing Carla down to the street and having a public argument on the sidewalk that turned several heads, he eventually convinced Carla that nothing had happened during their marriage and calmed her down enough.
Then, they talked for another hour, where his ex-wife informed him of her engagement and her impending move to Montana. She also made it quite clear that he had no say in the decision, especially after that particular morning.
He wasn’t delighted about it by any means, but he accepted it. As long as Emily was happy and taken care of, he didn’t care what Carla did. But the fact he wouldn’t be seeing much of his daughter killed him.
As he trudged back to the elevator, he came back to an empty apartment, however. You were gone, only leaving a note behind that said you had to get to work. He couldn’t really blame you for leaving. The morning already hadn’t started well, and then his ex showed up with a package full of drama on top of that.
Beau constantly felt like he was failing and disappointing you. He knew you were unhappy since the two of you had come home to Houston. But it was hard for him being back here. He fought his feelings for you every minute of every day. And then, the anniversary of Randy’s death rolled around, and he felt himself even more spacing out and withdrawing from you.
He never tried to compare himself to Randy, because any attempt to live up to him would’ve been futile. But Beau felt like the second choice. Like he didn’t deserve you. Like you weren’t truly his and never would be.
You never said or did anything to make him believe that. On the contrary, the way you looked at him made his heart melt every single day. You treated him like one in a million. You cared for him, listened to him, and even though you had never said it, he knew you loved him on some level.
You made him feel like he was the one.
Beau knew it was all in his head, but it felt like a lie. Because how could that be after everything he’d seen? After everything he knew? And in the brief moments when it didn’t feel like a lie, it felt like the biggest betrayal.
No matter what, he couldn’t win.
For two weeks, he was plagued by indecision, guilt, confusion, the need to do the right thing, and his feelings for you.
Beau loved you like he’d never loved anyone before, but it felt like a slow poison that rotted him from the inside.
He called and texted you every day, never sure what to say or do, though. He almost felt relieved whenever you came up with an excuse for why you couldn’t see him. That was his first warning sign that things needed to change.
And by the end of the two weeks, the indecision faded, and he’d arrived at a conclusion.
That final night, Beau had called you, and you told him you were working late at the office. That wasn’t true, though. He could see the lights of your apartment were on when he stood on the street outside. So, he knocked and found your surprised face in front of him before you averted your gaze in shame.
He didn’t fault you for that either, though.
“Beau, I-, uhm…”
“It’s fine,” he said gently, knowing you were about to apologize for your little white lie. And it was fine. He knew why you’d been avoiding him. “Can I come in? We need to talk.”
He hated saying those words. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what they meant. It was universally understood. And by the look on your face, he knew that you were aware of why he was here.
You let him inside with a crestfallen nod of your head, crossing your arms in front of you like you were trying to hug yourself as you prepared for the worst. The two of you then stood silently in your foyer for a minute, the air between you punishing.
“So this it, huh?” your voice bitterly broke the silence. The hurt in your eyes and the coldness in your face tore his heart apart.
As soon as he looked at you, he started to doubt his decisions again. Was this really the right thing to do? Would he regret it? Would he hate himself for it?
His best guess was yes.
“Look, uhm, this is hard. I didn’t make this decision lightly,” he started.
“Just get it over with, Beau. Spit it out,” you bit.
Nodding, he scratched his scruffy throat. “Carla’s getting married and moving to Montana. I can’t be this far away from Emily. I wanna see her grow up,” he explained earnestly.
“Makes sense. So you’re moving,” you deduced. “What d’you want from me?”
“It’s more complicated than that,” he said. That was where the lie came in. His heart pounded against his ribcage, demanding to be freed from its prison, but Beau kept it cuffed and jailed until it broke. “I’m still in love with Carla. I have to get my family back before it’s too late. It’s just-… It’s the best for all of us, you know?”
With a harsh swallow, you nodded, your gaze glued to the floorboards underneath your socks. “Yeah, no, I get it. You should go with your family. ‘S okay.”
“Y/N–” Your name fell from his lips in a pained sigh.
“No, really. We’re good,” you tried to assure him, forcing a tight-lipped smile to your doleful face. “It was nice while it lasted, but now it’s over. I get it. We were just each other’s rebound. It didn’t mean anything, right?”
Your look was full of bitterness as you stared at him, your features haunted by agony and hardened by resentment. It broke his heart all over again.
Yet, there was no turning back.
“Yeah,” he choked out, swallowing the tears down that fought to escape. “It didn’t mean anything. It was just a distraction. For both of us.”
“Glad we’re on the same page,” you said with all the remaining power left in you.
Beau tried to compel a smile to his lips, but it was only a sorry excuse of one. “Hope we can stay friends.”
“Sure.” You held the same unconvincing smile as you uttered your lie. Then, you strolled to the still-open door and leaned your back against the wood. A gesture that told him it was time to leave. “You should go now. I might have lied about the office, but I still have a shitload of work to do.”
With his head low, he walked past you, each step of his lethargic, heavy, and reluctant. As soon as he crossed that doorstep, he spun, his eyes finding yours one last time. Every ounce of him wanted to grab you and kiss you till you both stopped breathing.
But he didn’t.
Silently, you closed the door, a piece of meaningless and unforgiving wood between you that both of you stared at for several relentless heartbeats. You waited till you heard his footsteps recede farther and farther away from you. Till there was just empty space.
As the harrowing silence consumed the air in your lungs and the love in your heart, you fell to the floor and shattered. Sobs wrecked your body like an incurable disease, and you knew at that moment you could never caulk the cracks again and return to who you were.

alrighty, so I met Josh in mid April this year and honestly I have half of the interaction blocked off my brain cause I'm embarrassed as shit but here goes nothing. We met a bar and before my friend and I ran into them I had already drank a couple of shots and had a gummy edible that was kicking in, so I was a bit buzzed. So, my friend and I (who's also a greta girly) we go in and they are playing pool and we just walk beside them pretending we don't know who they are, while we are freaking tf out internally, and the bartender is yelling last call so we took a shot and turn back around they (josh, jake, and danny) are gone. We are like goddamn! cause we didn't get to talk to them and we get out of the bar and as we are walking down an alleyway there is a door with like lights inside, seemed a bit sketch, but we go in to drown our sorrows in alcohol. We get in and instantly I see josh with jita with a friend of theirs I assume, so I'm like this is a sign of the universe like be fr. My friend didn't notice him since she was getting a drink and the place was pretty loud, so I was like I'm going in. I don't know if it was the alcohol, weed, excitement, or dumbassery rushing through my body, but I just turn to josh and go, yooo I fucking love greta van fleet, your music makes me not want to die. He laughs and is like thank you, and after I introduce myself and my friend (she was in shock man the only thing she could do was smile and nod lmao we laugh about it now) I'm like when I listen to tbagg I see a movie in my head fr, and he seemed super flattered and giggly; then I go like what are you doing here🤨 (in the city I study in cause it seemed a bit random cause they didn't have a show there) and he laughs again and goes to my EAR and says, If I tell you I might have to kill you, when I tell you my body FROZE I was like sir? pls spare mercy sir. So I was like kill me then, and he giggles again and says we are recording some stuff enjoyng the city, and I was like I really like the trees here, do you like the trees? bruh WHAT KIND OF QUESTION??, like bffr and he was like yeah i do lol, and then I ask him if he knows spanish, cause our native languages are spanish; and he said that he took spanish in highschool but he doesn't really remember much, so I go, do you wanna know insults in spanish😏? BRUH??, he laughs and goes alright, so I was like ight what you wanna know, and he said some weird shit sum sum bastards, so we just told him to say something in spanish, and I kept high-fiving him for some reason? idk. After that my friend was finally able to say something to him and told him that she saw them in vegas with metallica, and I was like yeah we are going to see you in jacksonville in october, he was like no way cool! and so I go... play flower power in jacksonville or else 🔫 while pointing a finger gun at him. BRO EYE---? He laughs and was like well see😏, and my friend told him you guys should make a song in spanish and he said jokingly that they've tried that but didn't work out. And I as I said before, the place was pretty loud so he would constantly say, this place is too loud and motioned me to talk in his EAR? bruh when I tell you I died saw heaven, hell, god, jupiter, man I was dying inside gawddamn; bruh I felt his hair on my cheek I can die peacefully fr. So I ask him like, I hate to be that person but can we take a pic 👉👈, he said what? and I repeated the question, and he said what? and again said this place is too loud, and I was like don't mind if I do😏, and tell him in his ear if we can take a pic. We take it, and they came out sick, and finally he asks if he looks good, and I told him that he looks fabulous and he laughed and said thank you to us, and we were like? THANK YOU, sir wdym thank us? he looked genuinely thankful it was an out of body experience fr. And what I gotta say about him, the rumors are true people is he pretty shy, and very giggly, he was laughing at everything I said and I'm not funny bruh, maybe because I was making a fool outta myself but, idk. He is probably 5"5, no taller than 5"6 :)
SHUT UP OMG THANK U FOR SHARING THIS WITH ME 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 if Josh whispered in my ear I would be meeting Jesus as soon as it happened I’m so serious
#I was live reacting to reading this on my priv twt LMAO#I loved every second of it like seriously thank u for sending this to me#also I KNEW THAT BITCH WAS 5’6#gvf#joshua#greta van fleet#josh kiszka#asks#anon#long post

I eat my dinner in my bathtub
Then I go to sexclubs
Watching freaky people gettin' it on
It doesn't make me nervous
If anything I'm restless
Yeah, I've been around and I've seen it all
you had a few minutes left of your charms class which was your last class before the weekend. you wanted nothing more than to get out of here and cuddle up with your boyfriend— who was enjoying his free period right now.
draco was one of the best boyfriends you could ask for, the frequent dates, gifts, and attention— it was more than you could wish for.
“you’re excused. you essays are due at the beginning of next week” snapes monotone voice dragged on as you quickly packed up your things and made your way to the slytherin common room.
I get home, I got the munchies
Binge on all my Twinkies
Throw up in the tub
Then I go to sleep
And I drank up all my money
Days get kinda lonely
entering the slytherin common room your eyes immediately searched for a certain blond boy, yet he was nowhere to be found. you made your way to the boys dorms in hopes of finding him there but you’re quickly interrupted by two familiar voices.
“why hello y/n, marvellous weather we’re having today aren’t we?” theo asked looking towards the ceiling and smiling as if he were outside, blaise blocking your path as he did so.
“i’m not sure what weather you’re talking about since we’re inside but i am okay thank you” you responded with a chuckle, trying to make your way past blaise.
“wait y/n” he stopped you. “can i borrow the astronomy notes? i would ask luna but i can’t find her anywhere” blaise continued.
they both seemed awfully on edge and anxious, you figured it was just quidditch nerves getting to them since there was an upcoming game this week.
“i have yet to finish my astronomy notes, but i did see luna in the great hall if you want her notes. now if you’d excuse me i’d like to see draco” you said trying to push past the two boys who still wouldn’t let you through.
“forget malfoy! let’s do something instead, we’re so much more fun than him, right blaise?” theo said giving blaise a pointed look as he threw his arm around your shoulder.
“right you are nott, let’s go!” blaise continued also throwing his arm around your shoulder and leading you away from the boys dorm.
“what? no, i have plans with draco. now excuse me” you said pushing them both off and heading towards dracos door.
as you get closer to his door you can hear heavy breathing, pants and skin slapping on skin. you’re confused, you figured draco would be taking a nap or running over drills for quidditch practice. the closer you get, the louder the noises become.
“pans, you feel so good”
you recognize that voice anywhere.
You're gone and I gotta stay
High all the time
To keep you off my mind
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
High all the time
To keep you off my mind
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
quickly you turned your head towards blaise and theo who had their heads lowered in shame, refusing to meet your gaze. “is this some kind of sick joke, are you guys pulling a prank or something because this isn’t funny” you said seriously not wanting to believe what you’re hearing from inside of your boyfriends dorm.
“we’re sorry, we tried to convince him not too but he wouldn’t listen” theo muttered silently.
it felt like your world was breaking apart slowly. just not too long ago you were excited to spend a weekend with your boyfriend who you loved so dearly, the same boyfriend who you’ve been dating for years, the same boyfriend who gets jealous about how much time you spend with his mum rather than him.
with shaky fingers you put your hand on the door knob and quickly pushed the door open, already preparing for the worst.
there he was, wrapped up with parkinson in the same bed you two shared not even twenty-four hours ago. her body straddling his naked, just like yours was doing the night before. you stood there frozen, mouth agape— not even knowing what to do with yourself.
“baby, i can explain, just please— y/n please don’t leave” draco said pushing pansy off of him, shuffling on his pants and reaching out towards you.
“dont touch me, malfoy!” you yelled and everyone froze. “you lost the right to touch me the minute you even thought of touching her” you continued sending both him and pansy a glare with tears threatening to slip from your eyes.
“darling please, i can explain—”
“no draco, we’re done just leave me alone, please” your voice cracking at the end as you pushed past blaise and theo rushing towards the girls dormitory.
Spend my days locked in a haze
Trying to forget you babe
I fall back down
Gotta stay high all my life
To forget I'm missing you
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
it’s been days since you last left your room, days since you last saw draco. daphne would come by and check on you but you’d always dismiss her, wanting to be alone. regret is one word to describe how you’ve been feeling— you gave him everything and he threw it away so carelessly for a quick hook up.
you missed waking up against his smooth skin in his embrace, tracing the lines and scars across his porcelain skin as you waited for him to wake up, the way he’d try to kiss you in the morning without brushing his teeth and you wouldn’t let him because of morning breath— but he’d still do it anyways.
you missed him, but he didn’t want you anymore.
maybe it was something you’ve done, you’ve been quite busy with work recently so you haven’t been spending as much time with him as normal. he was probably lonely and trying to seek the attention you lacked to give him.
getting up, you stared at yourself in the mirror picking yourself apart. you were pretty, it was a well known fact around hogwarts, maybe he thought she was prettier. she was the life of the party and always up for some mischief whereas you preferred to do stuff in silence and would rather be with a small group of people. maybe he liked how exciting she was in comparison to you, she probably brought a spark of excitement to his life that you couldn’t.
dreading to feel something you quickly showered and got ready to leave your room hoping to run into a specific set of twins.
Pick up daddies at the playground
How I spend my daytime
Loosen up the frown,
Make them feel alive
I'll make it fast and greasy
I'm on my way to easy
“well what can we do for you today” fred said to you with a cheeky smile plastered across his face.
“do you have any muggle herb left?” you asked in a low voice making sure no one heard you.
“maybe we do, maybe we don’t” george said. “how much are you offering in exchange though” he continued.
“ten galleons for three ounces, is that enough” you said pulling the galleons out of your pockets and placing them in george’s palm.
“it was a pleasure doing business with you” they said in unison as fred placed the tiny baggie in your pocket so no one would see.
once you returned to your dormitory you quickly pulled out the pre-rolled muggle herb, lit it and let yourself forget.
You're gone and I gotta stay
High all the time
To keep you off my mind
Spend my days locked in a haze
Trying to forget you babe
I fall back down
Gotta stay high all my life
To forget I'm missing you
you started showing up to class late with red tired eyes, not caring about the looks you got. at this point every one knew what had happened but you couldn’t bring yourself to care.
the muggle herb brought you a sense of bliss and freedom, a new feeling you haven’t felt before but something that you now craved.
“are you high right now?” draco said as he sat himself in the seat beside you.
“since when do you care about what i’m doing” you said sharply, not wanting to talk with him.
“love, you don’t smoke. who gave that stuff to you, i’ll kill them—”
“no you won’t.” you said turning towards him. “you won’t do any of that because you don’t own me and i’m not your girlfriend anymore. so mind your business malfoy, i’m sure parkinson’s waiting for you”
the rest of the class you both sat in silence working on potions that draco did most of since you weren’t in the correct mind state and he wasn’t willing to let his mark falter over your slip up.
you find it amazing how even when you’re on drugs he still looks amazing. the way his nose curves perfectly with a slight bump, and the way his hands move with caution as he pours the potion into the waste bucket.
“look, i’m sorry for what happened with pansy. it didn’t mean anything i swear, i don’t know why i did it but i regret it with my life” draco said breaking your thoughts, he looked older than normal and had dark circles underneath his under eyes. you wondered why he looked so distraught when he wasn’t the one who got cheated on.
“a sorry isn’t going to fix this draco” you told him. he knew you were right but he didn’t want to admit it. he hadn’t talked to pansy since the day you walked in on them, the guilt has been eating him up inside. he stayed silent and didn’t bother respond to you, he knew anything he said would have made the situation worst than it already is— but how he wished you were still his sweet y/n.
“now if you excuse me, i have some fun to attend too” you said leaving him alone as you made your way back to your dorm.
Staying in my play pretend
Where the fun, it got no end
Can't go home alone again
Need someone to numb the pain
You're gone and I gotta stay
High all the time
To keep you off my mind
over the last few weeks, you couldn’t remember the last time you were sober. you started skipping classes to smoke and avoiding your friends so they’d stop questioning your habits.
you were forgetting and that’s all that mattered, you didn’t care how it was affecting your health— it made you feel better. sometimes you wished there was another way, another way to forget how he held you at night pressing soft kisses to your skin, another way to forget the way he took pansy the same way he took you. you wonder if he feels as sorry as he looks, he’s the one who cheated so he can’t possibly care that much.
you hear two knocks at your door which quickly break you from your state making you more attentive, cleaning yourself up and opening the door. there stood draco— his eyes red as well, like hes been crying.
“y/n listen, i know what i did was wrong and that i tried to pretend it wasn’t me but please. i didn’t mean too, you mean the world to me. i miss you so much love.” he pleaded with you.
“y’know draco, i miss you too” you admitted. “but i’ve found a way to forget about you, maybe you should do the same”.
Gotta stay high all my life
To forget I'm missing you

So just know to expect more than that! this imagine is written as Louis’ day, which will include his family, so it won’t just be filled with just fluffy y/n and louis content. but it still contains a great amount of it!
Enjoy :)
y/n’s pov:
It was a couple of minutes before midnight, marking a whole new day.
A special and wonderful day.
I have managed to climb up to Louis’s balcony from the ladder he leaves outside at all times. Which leads up to his room on the second floor, for me to sneak into.
I giggle at the thought of him wanting to have a Dawson’s Creek moment between us. He says “if Joey can climb up to Dawson’s room, then you can climb up to mine.”
I have managed to make it up safely and most importantly quietly so that Louis doesn’t catch onto the little sweet surprise I have up my sleeve.
I smile in excitement, waiting for the minutes to pass by. Which might I add are seeming to be the longest minutes of all time!
I stand against the hard exterior wall of the Partridge household, next to the sliding door which leads into Louis’s room.
My eyes are glued to the lockscreen on my phone that is portraying the time.
June 2nd, 2021; 11:57 pm
Three more minutes!
I smile dumbly as I catch a view of my lockscreen, as I was previously looking at the time. The screen captures a funny looking photo of Louis and I. We both had the most ridiculous faces on planet Earth, but even if it was ridiculous and funny looking, the photo was everything I loved about us and him.
A couple of butterflies sparked up in my stomach. I was madly and deeply in love with Louis Partridge.
11:59
I was getting giddier and nervoud by the second.
I just wanted to jump in there and tackle him into a hug.
I started fidgeting with my fingers and I couldn’t stop my smile from getting wider and wider.
I looked down at my phone again but nope it was still eleven fifty-nine.
I just wanted to go in there and hug the hell out of him.
At last, it was 12:00am, marking it June 3rd.
I loudly and recklessly slid his balcony door open and jumped into his room.
He was laying in bed, phone in hand. His eyes jerked up at the sudden loud sound and the image of the human who is his girlfriend jumping into his room. He sighs in relief holding his chest and starts smiling uncontrollably.
“HAPPPYYYY BIRTHDAYYYY!!” I shouted at him with pure happiness and delight.
“Oh god!” He says with a wide smile, hands up against his face. “I did not expect that! You’re insane!” He giggled.
I smile a toothy smile and sprint up to his bed, jumping on top of it, landing on both him and his fluffy bed.
He lets out a loud laugh and immediately puts his arms around my waist, pulling me towards him.
I start playfully singing.
“happy birthday to you. happy birthday to you. happy birthday to my amazing, beautiful boyfriend whose name is Louis Partridge.”
His eyes fixated on his funny girlfriend. He lets out a loud laugh, head falling back, and all, as he hears the little twist of words she concocts to his happy birthday song.
Her voice changes as she’s now looking at him like he’s the only person in the world.
“happy birthday to you,” I whisper softly, ending it for only us to hear, intimately.
He smiles sweetly. He’s grateful for this gesture. He didn’t care for anything big or scandalous. He was happy that this is what he got. His foolish girl was in his arms at the very second of his special day.
“I loved that!” He says with a cheeky smile.
I smile a goofy smile as both of our faces are inches apart and eyes interlocked.
I smash my lips against him and within a few seconds, the kiss ceased from our two smiles against each other. We couldn’t help but let out laughs. We were both very happy.
I move away from him and he frowns.
“Welllll now I gotta goooo,” I say, keeping a straight face and voice. I hop out of his bed.
I caught a glimpse of his face as I was hopping his body on my way out of his bed and he was confused as ever.
“I know your parents are sleeping and I wouldn’t want to be here without them knowing,” I say looking at him with a frown as I was standing on the outskirts of his bed. He now is in the process of sitting up trying to figure out why I’m leaving. I turn around and smirk as I pretend to start heading out towards the door I entered.
I can sense his smirk and eye roll and right before I had a chance to go he grabs my wrist.
“Get your arse back over here!” He says with a widespread smile as he rolls his eyes in annoyance, knowing I had been joking all along.
He yanks me back onto his bed, close to his arms.
“Nice try.” He says as he holds me in a tight grip, as I'm now beneath him.
Our playfulness was out the door now.
His eyes had a different look in them. He was on top of me and I was laying underneath him. He held power and dominance over me, especially since he’s now feeling himself on the early morning of his birthday.
I let out a tiny laugh.
“C’mere,” I say, pulling him from his shirt down to me. He smashed his lips against mine. Within the kiss, we got comfortable under the covers. I wrapped both of my arms around his neck, getting him in closer proximity to me. His hands on my thighs, I could feel him moving them both a little open to get himself comfortable and adjusted in between my legs.
Our lips, wet and full of temptation. Hungry for one another. Louis lowered his body closer to mine, our exposed warm skin touching. I pulled him closer by the neck, wanting him even more, our lips crashing deeper into one another.
I pulled away, our lips sticking to one another as I let go, causing them to make a squishing kissing sound effect.
Louis and I’s pants of air were the only things heard in the now dark room.
Louis without a second passing by, intertwined our lips again, spreading and finding comfort in the open of my legs.
I huffed in the kiss letting go of our lips.
He looks into my eyes in confusion, wanting more, and oh how much I wanted to give him more.
“I love you and I love this but we gotta get some sleep. Remember we have breakfast early in the morning with your parents and sisters,” I say with a serious tone.
He groans and even in the dark, I can see his childish behavior as he rolls his eyes.
He lowers his body onto me squishing mine as his face lowers in.
He looks deep into my eyes with pleading ones.
“Please.” He whimpers.
I frown knowing I wanted to just make it the best night for him but I knew that if we continued to further this, it’d take a long while. It’d be nearing dawn and we wouldn’t get an ounce of sleep.
He realized I was in thought.
“Please.” He whimpers as his face starts nearing my lower neck. He plants some light kisses leading up towards the midst of my neck.
“Please, my love. I’m begging you.” He says as the kisses prominently get more stimulating. I had to stop him before they got too unbearable for me to stop him from continuing.
“Louis.” I slip out in content, trying hard not to let in.
He could tell I wanted to and he used that against me, knowing I didn’t want to resist.
“Please.” He begged in between the fulfilling neck kisses. He knew I couldn’t resist his whimpers and his imploring voice full of want.
And it was all up to me, but I couldn’t. I wanted to sooo bad but if we did within a few hours his parents and sisters would come bustling in this door to find us all sweaty and exhausted full of bliss.
“We can’t Louis,” I say quietly, sadness tracing along with my words.
He sighs. “I know.”
He pecks my nose as he’s still on top of me and gets off of me, laying beside me.
“I’m sorry,” I say sadly.
“Don’t be sorry.” He whispers pulling me in. “I know you wanted to. But you know what?” He pauses, looking over at me. “I know you mean well. Because any other girl would choose to instead of caring about my family’s breakfast and I love you for that. I really do.” He says softly and plants a sweet kiss on my cheek.
“Thanks, Louis,” I say just as soft and turn over to face him, cuddling him. “I love you.”
He places his hand on the side of my face that wasn’t placed on the pillow, caressing it. He leans in and I feel his plump lips on mine.
“I love you too.” He says as I feel his voice against my lips vibrating.
“Come on!” He says taking me along with him as he lays on his back, leaving me slightly on top of him.
I wrap my leg around him and reach out for his free hand that isn’t placed on my back. He instantly grabs it and holds it firmly. My head was on his chest.
“Happy Birthday Louis,” I say as I close my eyes.
“Thanks my love,” He says and squeezes my hand. “I’m glad I get to spend the start of my birthday with you. So thank you for barging in here,” He says with a smile, ending with a chuckle.
“Anytime,” I say with a laugh.
We both fall asleep in each other's arms.
-
Morning was emerging and Louis’s parents and sisters were already awake ready to walk into Louis' room to congratulate him on his eighteenth birthday.
“Shh!” Louis’s mother and father say shushing their two daughters who were laughing a bit too loudly. They were quite excited to finally have a good excuse to wake Louis up, without him getting annoyed at them.
Issie and Millie look at their parents with open mouths and shock in their eyes, ultimately speechless at their mother shushing them.
“You’re going to wake him,” Their mother whispered, scolding them.
The girls responded with another row of laughter as they were nearing his room. They just couldn’t help it. They couldn’t keep quiet.
Their father couldn’t help but smile at their foolishness.
“Okay. We’ll stop now,” Issie says, taking a deep breath, trying to stop their laughter.
Millie was trying to hold in her laughter, trying not to ruin their parent’s way of waking up their only son on his special day.
The four made it outside of Louis’ closed door. Liz enclosed the doorknob ready to open up the door.
“Ready?” James questioned the three females.
They all nod and all whisper ‘yes's’.
Liz turns the doorknob and slowly opens her son’s door.
The girls rush in quietly and the four see the boy before him peacefully sleeping with the girl of his dreams resting on his chest.
“Aww. I don’t know if I should feel disgusted or not,” Issie jokes.
“They look so adorable!” Millie says in awe.
“Our boy isn’t much of a boy anymore,” James comments to his wife, placing his arm around her shoulders pulling her into his chest.
“I know,” She whispers, shedding a few tears.
Issie and Millie give each other a look of ‘are you being serious’
“So are we waking him up or not?” Millie asks impatiently.
“You’re really looking forward to it. Aren't you?” Their father chuckles.
“Of course!” Issie says with a smirk.
“Okay. Let’s go,” Liz remarks with a smile
Issie immediately grabs a spare pillow and wacks it right onto Louis’ face making sure not to hit Y/N. Their mom gasps and their father laughs.
‘WAKE UP LOSER!” Issie yells smacking the pillow right at him, again.
Millie doesn’t even give it a second after Issie’s yell as she was already jumping on Louis’ bed.
After feeling the first hit Louis awakens from his peaceful slumber, feeling happy as ever from the last couple of hours. But now feeling displeased from the way he’s being awoken.
He feels y/n on top of him. He mentally rolls his eyes as he’s being interrupted from sleeping with his girlfriend.
He opens his eyes on the second hit, feeling Millie jumping on his bed obnoxiously. Oh, but she was doing it on purpose to annoy her older brother.
“The only bad thing about waking you up is waking y/n up,” Issie says, smacking the pillow on the now wide awake Louis.
He unwraps his arms from y/n quick enough to catch the pillow from hitting him again.
Y/N hears and feels the commotion and realizes what’s going on. She immediately starts laughing as she opens her eyes.
y/n’s pov:
I immediately open my eyes and feel Millie jumping on the bed. I, without a doubt, joined Millie, leaving Louis laying down in bed.
Millie giggles as she sees me jumping alongside her. We both give each other our hands and intertwine our fingers as we proceed to jump around with our hands laced with one another's.
“Wake up Louis!” I say looking down at him with a smile.
“I’m awake,” He says in a lighthearted grumpy voice.
“Come on! Stop being a party pooper!” I say bending down to grab a pillow and hitting him with it.
“Oh, you want to play it like that?” Louis says, eyeing me with a smirk.
He instantly stands from his seated position on his bed and tackles both Millie and I onto the bed. Millie and I both groan in pain, as we lay straight on his bed without a movement.
“Don’t think I forgot about you!” Louis says, turning his attention to Issie. He hops out of his bed, grabbing the pillow I previously had, and smacks her. She gets caught off guard and Louis grabs her and pushes her onto the bed, on top of Millie and I. Both of us, still trying to recuperate.
I let out laughs and so does Millie and Issie.
“Mornin dad. Mornin mom. Shall we head off to breakfast without them?” Louis says, giving them quick hugs and playfully walking out of his room.
“That was not what I expected at all,” Issie groans as she holds her stomach.
“Yeah… mom wanted to sing happy birthday like the happy peaceful family we are,” James trails, as both Liz and him are standing beside the door, with laughs.
“You can say that again,” Millie says with a straight face and monotone voice.
“Yeah. Sorry about that mum,” Issie says as she sits up.
“We can still sing if that helps?” Millie says with a hopeful shrug.
Louis turns to his mom and sees her somewhat disappointed face after her plans didn’t go her way.
“Alright. Alright. Come on!” Louis says, trying to complete his mother’s wishes. His arm over her shoulders.
James catches on and proceeds to count. “1… 2… 3…”
We all sing.
“Happy Birthday To You. Happy Birthday To You. Happy Birthday dear Louisss. Happy Birthday to you!” We all sang as Louis stood beside his mum and the three of us sat on his bed. James beside their mom.
We all stood up from his bed to congratulate him.
Louis towered over his mother and they both tightly hugged. They stood there for a while and they swayed side to side.
I melted inside at the sight of the two.
“Come here!” Louis’s dad says brightly with a proud smile opening up his arms. Louis forms a huge smile on his face and goes into a bear hug with his father.
James pats Louis back proudly and firmly in their hug.
I observed with a smile as Louis was in bare arms with his parents. It was adorable and loving.
He lets go of his dad and turns to the three of us.
He smiles and pulls his youngest sister into a hug. He looks huge compared to her. I laugh as Millie’s giggles escape her lips.
Millie's contagious laughter got Louis laughing as well.
Issie walks towards Louis and they both hug tightly.
As they hug I go and greet his parents, formally.
“Morning guys!” I say as I walk over to them.
“Morning y/n!” They both greet, each with huge grins.
I go in to hug Liz and she opens her arms widely.
I smile and blush at her kindness.
I go and wrap my arms around her as does she.
She pulls me in tightly.
“Thank you for joining us,” She says into the hug.
“Of course!” I enthuse and pull away to converse with her.
She grins.
“You’re such a wonderful girl honey! I’m glad Louis found someone like you! You truly make him happy,” She exclaims, and out of excitement she pulls me into another hug. I chuckle.
“Aww! Thank you, Liz! You’re such a wonderful mum. Thank you for raising an amazing boy,” I say. “Both of you!” I say and look over to James with a smile.
He smiles a toothy smile and takes me into a hug.
I chuckle.
“Thanks, honey!” James says into our hug.
I smile at him and nod.
“You both are great parents! You should be proud. You have amazing children!” I say to them and pull away from my hug with James.
I then feel two arms wrap around me from behind. I smile and blush feeling him close behind. He nuzzles his head into my neck.
“Don’t worry guys. I know you both adore and love her so much. I’ll be making her your third daughter soon,” Louis cheekily says to his parents as he smashes his lips onto my cheek.
“Louis!” I blush and turn my head slightly to look at him.
He smiles cheekily and looks over to her parents.
“Watch it,” Liz playfully warns with a brow raised.
Louis chuckles.
“Not any time soon, I hope!” She sighs, not wanting her kids to grow.
I giggle.
“Don’t listen to him!” I say with a playful eyeroll.
“Knock some sense into him, dear,” She says with a laugh. “You’re only eighteen.” She says eyeing Louis.
“Well… As of the law, I don’t need your consent to marry. Not anymore,” He jokingly says to his mother.
James laughs.
“We raised a witty boy. Didn’t we?” He says looking over to his wife. “Oh and son we know you love the girl but don’t marry yet. Makes me feel old,” He half jokes.
“Oh yeah! If we encouraged him one bit! He’d be down on one knee,” Issie teased.
“What! I kinda want a baby running around the house,” Millie says with pouty eyes.
“Don't encourage him!” Issie exclaims looking over at Millie.
“Well now that I think of it-” Louis begins to say.
“NO!” Liz, James, and I yell.
Louis stands behind me, arms wrapped around me, dumbfounded with his mouth open.
“I’m only joking…” He trails. “Kind of?” He says with a laugh.
“Okay! On that note, let's start getting ready for breakfast. Please!” Liz pleads as they start heading out of the room.
I laugh.
“I agree!” I say as I try to walk off but get enclosed by Louis tightening grip around my waist. His parents, now gone.
“Nooo!” He whispers into my ear with a pout.
I blush and look down feeling the butterflies.
“You’re so clingy!” Millie says in disgust as she watches Louis and I, catching what Louis has done.
“Let the poor girl go!” Issie says.
“She likes it,” Louis says as he smirks, looking down at me. And oh he’s right. I do like it.
Millie gives Louis an “mhmm sure’ look.
“Whatever you say, Louis,” Issie remarks in doubt.
I let out a laugh.
“Come on Louis. We have to get ready,” I say, trying to free myself from his grip. He loosens his arms and I manage myself out.
But I did miss his arms wrapped around me closely, his body pressed against me from behind, and his head propped on my shoulder as he lowers himself down to my height. The way I feel his arms against my skin and feel his soft hair brush against my face and neck. His occasional sweet and cute kisses he leaves on my cheeks and neck. My stomach erupts with butterflies by just thinking of it.
“Come on y/n. Let’s go,” Millie says, grabbing my bag that has my outfit and necessities to get ready.
I nod and without saying goodbye or looking back I start walking out with Millie and Issie.
Louis is left baffled.
“What?” Louis says right as we reach the door frame to head out. His ‘what’ sounding like a ‘wot’.
I turn around and so do they.
“Imma go get ready with Millie and Iss,” I say like it’s nothing.
Every time I’m over at the Partridges and we’re heading off somewhere, I always get ready with Millie and Issie.
“But… it’s my birthday,” He frowns.
My heart falls at his adorableness.
Millie didn’t quite see it as adorable though.
“Louis! Y/N, Issie, and I always get ready together. You know this already!” Millie sassily says.
“Yeah, it's quite practically tradition at this point,” Issie butts in.
“That’s precisely my point! It happens alllll the time! I would like my girlfriend to get ready. Here! With me! On my birthday!” Louis irritably says to his sisters.
“You’re so annoying!” Millie furiously says, rolling her eyes.
“Whatever! You can leave now,” Louis says and walks over and grabs the door, waiting for them to leave.
Issie sighs and rolls her eyes going out the door.
I frown.
“Bye,” I say.
“You’re lucky it’s your birthday!” Millie says and walks out the door as she hands me my bag.
I grab it and peep my head out the door before Louis shuts it.
“If you need me I’m right here!” I shout into the hallway so that they hear me from their rooms.
Louis peeps his head out.
“No, she’s not!” He yells loudly.
I push him and he laughs.
“I’ll make it up to you guys! I’ll sit with you both on the way to breakfast!” I say to them.
“Yeah! She won’t be doing that either!” Louis yells right after me.
“Louis!” I say looking over at him as I laugh.
“What?!” He says like it's nothing.
He pulls me into the room and slams the door shut, locking it.
He immediately goes in and wraps his arms around my back and lowers his face into mine, pulling me in as close as he possibly can.
“Are you glad you got your way?” I say with a cheeky smile, looking up at him.
“Yes. Very!” He says looking deep into my eyes, with a huge proud grin.
After a few seconds of him looking into my eyes, he leans in for a kiss. Our lips meet. He tilts his head sideways, deepening the kiss. I tippytoe up to him and he pulls me in by the waist, closening all the space between us. One of my arms is around his neck and my other is roaming up to his messy hair.
I run my fingers through his soft locks and take in his luscious lips. The way they worked against mine drove me crazy. They worked perfectly with each other, lips perfectly in sync. I could never let go of his lips.
Louis groans into the kiss, driving me insane. He squeezes me and I could literally just melt in his embrace.
“This is the best birthday ever,” He says in between the kiss and I let out a giggle right as he goes to interlace our lips again.
I pull away. “And why is that?” I say now looking into his brown eyes.
“Hmm,” He says with a smile. “Because I’ve been fortunate enough to kiss you countless times these past few hours.” He says as he looks down into my eyes.
I smile and blush.
“Well! I’m glad I could help,” I say with a huge smile and tippytoe to peck his lips.
“Oh, you’ve done more than just help! You’re literally the reason why I woke up with a smile this morning and the smile I have on right now. You’re the one that went out of your way to be here on the exact second of my birthday and it’s the most adorable thing ever y/n!” Louis generously says with a smile. His eyes roam every inch of her face, taking in her beauty. He can’t believe she’s his.
“Aww, Louis!” I say with puppy dog eyes. “You’re gonna make me all emotional!” I say as I pull him into a hug. I place my head on the lower shoulder area of his chest, resting my face on him. “You’re the best boyfriend ever. You always manage to say all the right words that make me feel all special and gushy. You’re amazing Louis and I love you for it! You’re the best person in the world!” I say as I pull my head up and face him, telling him every word.
He looks at me with a pout, lips propped out, and eyes filled with adoration as he looks down at me.
“You’re incredible Louis. You’re a spectacular person. You deserve everything you have and more! You’re caring and sweet. Your laugh is literally the cutest thing ever! The way your head falls back when you laugh, it's the best sight. You’re literally adorable in every way! You’re so passionate about your hobbies and you always give everything your all. You have no idea how incredibly proud and amazed I am by you. You’re ambitious and driven. Like, you’re just fucking amazing Louis. You have no idea! I could go on and on about how incredible and great you are!” I say pouring out my heart to him.
He just keeps his eyes on mine. All he does is smile down at me.
He pulls me in and places his chin on the top of my shoulder. I smile to myself and lay my head on his chest.
“Thank you,” He whispers into my shoulder. “You have no idea how much it means to me.” He smiles into my shoulder now laying his head on me.
I know my words meant a lot to me. He always takes it all in and stays silent as he holds me close. I could tell he was thankful and happy for the way I felt towards him and the way I spoke so highly of him. His silence says it all and the way he’s holding onto me for dear life.
I smile into the hug and tighten my arms around him, knowing he’ll smile.
“Now, come on. I’ll tell you more about how amazing you are later. As of right now, we have to get ready for breakfast,” I say slowly pulling apart from him.
He chuckles and nods.
I know we both wanted to stay in each other’s arms but we had to get ready.
“Alright,” He smiles and heads to his closet.
I walk over to my bag full of necessities I brought the night before to ready myself. I go to grab my toothbrush and head towards Louis’ bathroom.
As I walked towards the restroom I could feel Louis stare at me from his closet.
“Are you drooling?” I say with a playful smirk.
“What?” He says getting caught off guard. “Oh. Yeah!” He says catching on to what I meant. “Definitely!” He smirks.
I laugh and roll my eyes as I make it to the restroom. I put paste on my toothbrush and look into the room.
“Might wanna unlock your room. Don’t want them trying to come into the room and them thinking we’re up to something,” I say with a chuckle.
“Right!” He says with remembrance. I continue to brush my teeth as Louis goes to unlock his bedroom door.
As I’m finished brushing my teeth I grab my makeup bag and I go and sit on Louis' bed. I grab my little mirror and put on some moisturizer as I get comfy on his bed.
Louis is now in the restroom styling his hair.
“Lord Tewkesbury or Sid?” Louis asks regarding his hair.
“Whichever one you’d like my love,” I say with a smile as my heart skips a beat.
He nods and goes on with doing his hair.
I start putting on some foundation and blending it into my skin.
He finishes doing his hair and jumps onto the bed with me, laying his head on my lap.
I giggle.
“You’re such a baby!” I gush looking down at him.
“Oh hush! I’m just glad you’re here with me. Getting ready,” He whispers as he cuddles his head onto my lap.
“You know I’m not gonna be able to play with your hair or baby you cause I’m doing my makeup,” I chuckle looking down at him.
He sighs loudly.
“You know, you can just not do your makeup! You don’t need it anyways!” He says grabbing the mirror and proceeding to take it from my hands.
“Louis!” I gasp, trying to reach for it.
He lets out a loud laugh.
I frown and he continues to laugh.
“You’re mean!” I say with a sad face.
He chuckles.
“It’s fine. I don’t need a mirror to blend in my concealer,” I say with a shrug.
“Mhm. Sure.” He says holding on sacredly to the mirror.
I continue to blend in the concealer under my eyes without speaking to Louis. He continues to lay himself on my lap, not taking his eyes off me with a smirk.
Once I’m done with my base, Louis is laying straight up looking up at the wall.
I lower my face down to him and frown.
His eyes turn to me and he smiles knowing what I’m about to say.
“Okay for this part I really need the mirror. Please!” I plead as I give him my puppy dog eyes.
He shakes his head and I frown.
“Please,” I beg.
“Look who’s acting like a baby now!” He smirks.
I couldn’t help but roll my eyes.
“Come on Louis!” I say and reach over to grab the mirror.
“Okay fine!” He groans and hands it to me.
I’m taken aback by how easy that was and he notices. He now has a cheeky smile plastered on his face.
I furrow my eyebrows but choose to ignore it. I angle the mirror up to my face and start filling in my eyebrows. Then suddenly I feel Louis sitting on me, face on my chest. His legs are crisscrossed as he sits on my lap and puts his whole body weight on me as I’m trying to do my brows.
“Louis!” I yell at him as I couldn’t help but laugh.
He chuckles and replies with “What?”
“Oh my god!” I say as I place the mirror and eyebrow brush and pomade down.
He laughs knowing that would get my attention.
“You’re such a kid,” I say with a laugh as I kiss his head, which is below my face, laying on my chest. He’s so huge as he sits on me, his whole body leaning on me. His face and whole upper body against mine.
“This is how it feels when you come and sit on me, wrapping your legs around my waist when I’m sitting,” He says into my chest.
I chuckle.
“Well, it’s cute when I do it,” I tease.
He playfully gasps.
“See look when I do it at least I make it comfortable for the both of us. I wrap my legs around your waist and my arms around your neck. While you, just sit on my lap,” I laugh. “You’re not even hugging me or placing your legs anywhere comfy,” I say.
“Well seeee. I would buttt you’re doing your makeup so I can’t really get comfy or else you won’t be able to get it done cause I’d be in your way,” He says looking up at me. “I’m like wayyy bigger than you, so I’d be in your way of you doing your brows.” He says emphasizing on brows. “Anddd you’d make me get off of you so that’s why I’m doing the bare minimum!” He defends and mocks.
I laugh.
“Right ‘bare minimum’ when you’re literally sitting on me,” I say with a chuckle.
He lets out a laugh.
“Wellll when you put it like that…” He trails with a bright smile. “Alright I’ll get off of you now,” He says, going up to kiss my cheek.
“Okay! But only if we do this later when I’m not trying to do something,” I chuckle.
“Deal!” Louis says with a chuckle.
He gets off me and lays beside me slightly placing his head on my thigh. He trails his finger up and down my thigh in boredom. I let out a shiver and he looks up at me and smirks.
I smile and roll my eyes.
He looks back down and continues with his antics.
I finish off my brows and start to add concealer onto them to fix them up and complete them.
As I do, Louis continues to trace his fingers along my skin causing me goosebumps.
I could hear Louis giggle from below.
I shake my head and smile.
After a few minutes, I grab some blush and highlighter.
“Okay, I know you’re bored! So if you’d like you can add these onto my cheeks.” I trail on. “BUT, carefully!” I warn as his eyes widen.
He sits down immediately onto the bed and grabs the blush.
“Okay so be careful with the blush because it’s really pigmented,” I warn.
He makes a face of confusion.
“Okayy.. I think I know what that means,” He says, patting the brush onto the blush.
My eyes trail to his facial expression and his eyebrows and face seem really tense. I smile as I see that he really is taking this seriously.
“Okay..” He trails as he carefully swifts the brush on my cheekbones.
“Go on!” I assure and he nods.
He continues on with the highlighter and really seems to be concentrating on it.
I couldn’t help but smile.
“Why are you smiling?” He questions.
I open my eyes and they immediately meet his worried ones.
“Nothing. It’s just you really seem focused. It's cute,” I smile and peck his lips.
He smiles and grins. His white teeth showing. It was adorable. He looked adorable. Damn, I really am lucky to have Louis.
“Okay, now I just gotta curl my lashes and put on mascara,” I explain. He nods. “And then once I’m done you can spray on my setting spray,”
“That sounds exciting!” He exclaims and I let out a laugh.
I curl with my lashes and proceed to put on a couple of coats of mascara. Once they’re where I want them to be I get Louis to go on with the final step.
He was already ready at hand, with the setting spray.
I chuckle and nod, giving him the cue to spray away.
I close my eyes and he clicks away. I instantly feel the wet sprays, which come to a stop once Louis is finished.
“Finally!” He sighs and lays down cuddling into me.
I chuckle.
“Louis, I still have to do my hair,” I say with a laugh.
He looks at me and lets out a loud groan.
“I’m sorry,” I say and get off the bed, heading to the bathroom.
“I’m just going to quickly curl my tips,” I say brushing my hair.
“Okayyy.” He says with a sigh as he finds a comfortable position on his empty bed.
I giggle and start to curl the ends of my hair.
Once I’m halfway through my hair I call out to Louis.
“Babe. You might want to start getting dressed. I’m almost done with my hair, so if you want some spare time for me to baby you, finish getting ready!” I say as he shifts in his bed.
“Okay!” He says getting off of his bed and going to grab his clothing for the day.
I go back to doing my hair and from the corner of my eye, I see him taking off his shirt.
I smirk but continue to do my hair anyways.
I hear his hums from the restroom as I finish curling the last end. I grab my outfit from the bag and start undressing.
Louis’ eyes make it to his girlfriend and sees that she's taking off her bottoms. He doesn’t know whether to continue his gaze or look away.
Eventually, he goes back to getting changed himself.
I look over at Louis and see that he’s only in his briefs.
I smile at how alluring and good looking he is.
“You’re so handsome,” I blurt out.
His eyes widen as they meet mine. He then chuckles.
His eyes meet my exposed shoulders as I’m only in a bra as I’m trying to get the straps on.
He smirks.
“And you’re so beautiful!” He says with a cheeky smile.
I smile and blow him a kiss.
As I’m finished putting my dress on, I head into his room and go in to hug him from behind. He has some khaki pants on, a nice dress shirt, a small gold chain, and sneakers.
He looks impeccable.
“Wow. You look amazing Louis!” I say and wrap my arms around him from behind.
I can see his smile from the mirror in front of him and he instantly turns over to me.
He picks me up slightly and kisses my lips.
I giggle and pull away.
“You’re adorable,” I mention and look at him in awe.
“No. You’re adorable!” He chimes.
I smile and kiss his lips right before pulling away.
He chuckles and puts me down.
“Now, you’re the one that looks amazing!” He says as his eyes trail down to me.
I blush and smack his chest playfully in response.
“Ow.” He winces.
I giggle and go in to peck his lips once more.
“You truly look amazing!” He says, not letting his eyes off of me.
I giggle and thank him.
I had on a casual floral dress. It wasn’t over the top but it wasn’t simple either.
“Thanks, bub,” I say cheekily with a wide smile.
Louis chuckles and bends down to peck my lips.
I giggle and straighten out his dress shirt.
“Should I wear a crew neck over the button up?” Louis asks as he looks down upon himself.
I think for a bit.
“I think you’d look good both with and without it. But take it just in case it gets chilly.” I advise.
Louis nods and goes to grab a charcoal brown crewneck.
“Perfect,” I say with a smile as I grab onto his arm.
He looks down at me and grins.
We both head over and lay on his bed.
He chuckles.
I roll my eyes, knowing he’s excited cause I can finally give him my attention.
He lays his head on my shoulder.
“Come here, birthday boy,” I say and motion for him to lay on my lap.
He does so and lays his head on me.
I go in to play with his hair, which I love.
“God, I love it when you do that!” He sighs as he closes his eyes, his head against my lap.
I chuckle and continue to roam my fingers through his hair, gently tracing my fingers through his scalp.
He rubs his head into my lap, as he cuddles deeper into me.
I smile knowing he’s enjoying my touch.
He looked adorable as his eyes were closed in bliss.
I lowered my head down to his lips and he puckered up his lips to connect the two. I smiled before proceeding to give into his lips. I grabbed onto the side of his face with the palm of my hand as I gently massaged it, as our lips created their own magic.
We were so into our own little world that we didn’t even realize that Issie and Millie had just entered the room.
“Aww! Look at you two, all dolled up, and sucking each other's faces off. Nice scene to walk into huh Iss?” Millie’s voice echoed through the room.
My eyes widened and Louis and I both broke off the kiss.
“Oh yeah! Definitely, Mills, especially since our brother is the submissive one in this case,” Issie says.
I bit my lip, trying to hold in my laughter.
Louis was still in my lap, rolling his eyes.
“And what? It’s my birthday!” Louis shoots back, sitting up.
“Eww! Gross! I don’t want to hear that!” Millie shrieks.
“I would prefer not to hear about your sexual life and how you want it on your birthday!” Issie says in disgust.
“What?! I didn’t even say anything like that!” Louis says to them in defense.
“Well.. you kinda did imply it, babe,” I say as I wrap my arm around his shoulders and give him a peck on his cheeks.
He rolls his eyes at his sisters again.
“Well, we’re all ready now. We’re just waiting on mom,” Millie says, completely changing the subject.
She shudders as she’s about to sit on the bed but backs off.
I laugh, shaking my head.
“We didn’t even do anything! You were literally jumping on my bed not so long ago!” Louis speaks, with an eye roll.
I reach over to grab Millie’s hand and pull her into the bed.
“Here, I'll give you a kiss too,” I say and kiss her cheek once she falls into the bed.
“Gross! I don’t know where those lips have been!” Millie says.
“OH MY GOD!” Louis says as he lets himself fall back into his bed with his hands in his face.
Issie is dying of laughter, so I pull her in quickly and send her a kiss.
“Oh nooo!” She complains as my lips meet her skin. “No! No! No!”
“We are neither confirming nor denying your allegations,” Louis says with a smirk as he sits back up.
“Louis!” I shriek as I feel my cheeks go red.
Millie starts making gagging noises and Issie scoots farther away from us as possible.
“What!” He says with a growing smile.
“You know what!” I scold.
Louis pulls me by the arms and causes us to both fall back into his bed.
“As much as I’d like to admit you guys are cute. That was no fun topic to speak about!” Millie says with a worried expression.
Louis laughs evilly.
James peeks his head through the open door.
“Time to go!” He smiles and heads off.
We all stand up from the bed. Louis goes to grab my hand, he intertwines them and squeezes our hands gently.
I smile and pull our intertwined hands to my lips and give them a little kiss.
He cheekily smiles and we start heading out his door.
“You girls look beautiful by the way!” I say to them as we all walk down the hallway.
“Thank you! You look gorgeous,” Issie says to me with a huge smile.
“You do look amazing y/n!” Millie smiles.
“Aww thank you, guys!” I smile and we all make it down the stairs.
Liz gasps once she sees us all.
“You all look wonderful!” She gushes.
We all thank her.
“You look lovely, Liz!” I smile.
“Thank you, darling!” She smiles.
“Come on, let's take a few pictures before we head out!” She pleads.
The four of us pose for the picture. Louis and I in the middle, Millie beside me, and Issie beside Louis.
After a couple of photos were taken, I let them take a couple of photos of just the three of them. I then offer to take photos of them all.
James and Liz join in with Louis, Millie, and Issie. I snap a couple of photos to get everyone's good sides.
“Come on y/n!” James calls me in. He swifts his hand signaling me to join them.
I nod with a smile and Liz leads me over and squeezes me in next to Louis. I blush and thank her.
James was in the corner ready to take a couple of photos, camera held up high to capture us all.
Louis wraps his arm around me and I lay my head on his chest. I put one of my arms behind his back and one on his chest as I lay my head on him.
We all smile for the picture and James takes a couple.
“Alright let's head out. We’re taking the car even though we might get more traffic but going on the train is going to be a hassle,” Liz explains.
“Mum. There’s no rush!” Louis assures her.
“Louis, well what’s the purpose of a breakfast if we’re not going to eat early?” Liz comments.
Issie and Millie let out a laugh.
“Alright. Alright. I guess we are in a rush. Speed away father,” Louis says once we’re all settled into the car.
Louis is on the left side of the car, I’m beside him, and to my right is Millie and then Issie.
James starts the car and drives off.
Louis puts his arm around me and pulls me in by my shoulders. He puts his lips against my temple and sweetly kisses it.
“Thanks, sweetheart,” I whisper to him and he nods with a vibrant smile.
“So where are we eating exactly?” Issie asks her parents.
“To a nice restaurant that’s famous for their breakfast selection,” Liz explains.
“Famous?!” Louis says. “Oh mum, choosing an expensive place, am I right? Mum you didn’t have to. I’d be happy with anything!”
“Nonsense! It’s your special day,” James exclaims.
Louis smiles.
“Well thank you, nonetheless. You didn't have to but thanks,” Louis smiles.
James continues driving for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, the four of us in the back decided to play Who’s Most Likely To.
“Louis is definitely most likely to jump into a dumpster!” Issie exclaims.
Louis opens his mouth but nothing comes out of it. He’s just left with his mouth agape.
I giggle and nod.
“It’s definitely you, Louis! You literally have dove into a bunch of trash bags,” I say with a laugh.
“Literally everyone has seen that video!” Millie says in between laughs.
“Okay. Fine. I’ll take it I guess,” He says with a little eye roll.
I let out a laugh, as everyone in the car does as well.
We continue to foolishly ask questions which leads everyone in the vehicle to erupt in laughter.
James pulled up to a fancy looking restaurant. It looked full and impacted with many guests. It had both outdoor and indoor seating.
James found a place to park the car and we all stepped out of the vehicle. Louis hopped out of the car before me and lent me a hand to step out. I smile out at him and place my hands on him. As I make it out of the car, Louis closes the car door behind me.
“M’lady,” He cheekily says.
I smile and let out a cute laugh
James smiles at us as he exits the car himself.
“Okay let’s head in. We have reservations. Thank goodness cause look at the place,” She sighs in relief as we enter the doors.
Louis walked beside me as his hand was placed in my lower back. I smile at how he’s such a gentleman.
“Six for the Partridges,” James notifies the fancy main entrance.
Louis lowers his lips to my ear.
“See they already see you as a Partridge,” He whispers deeply into my ear.
I blush and look over into his eyes.
He has a huge smile placed on his lips.
I giggle and as I was about to respond we were already being led to our table.
Louis pulls out my chair and leads me to sit. I blush and sit on the comfy fancy looking chair.
Louis pushes me in a bit and pats my hair and he goes to sit beside me and across from his parents.
Right as we’re getting seated a couple workers were already handing us freshly squeezed juice.
I smile in thank you and simultaneously Louis and I reach for each other’s hands, from each other’s chairs.
We both laugh within each other and take in the freshly squeezed juice, which was delicious.
“Wow, mum. This is really good!” Louis shockingly says as he places the cup down.
Liz smiles and seems proud of her choice of breakfast.
We get handed the menus that we made of thick rich paper.
“Wow mum, even the menus are expensive!” Millie says as she opens it up.
I giggle and open up the menu myself.
I look over the breakfast selection and see they have everything anyone could ask for.
“Look over the menu if you’d like but we’re ordering the platter that gives us all the main dishes the restaurant offers for breakfast,” James notes to us as Liz nods.
“So we’re like having our own little buffet? Here at our table,” Issie questions.
“Precisely,” James smiles with a nod.
“Wow. Ok,” Louis says in amazement.
“You deserve it,’ I whisper to him with a smile.
He looks at me with love in his eyes.
“Thanks love!” He whispers back and he squeezes our hands.
I smile and we both face the table again.
Liz is ordering the platter and we all continue to drink the delicious not too thick juice.
We all start to converse once we’re settled and have placed our order.
“How does it feel to be an adult now?” Issie jokes.
“Oh! You know, life changing!” Louis claims.
I let out a giggle.
“I feel like a totally different person!’ He exaggeratedly says.
We all let out small laughs.
Soon various workers came over to our table. They all had huge platters of different breakfast dishes in their hands. They set it all down at our table. And man, let me tell you! There was sooo much food!
There were pancakes of all sorts of flavors with unique shapes, waffles, french toast, crepes, fruit, syrups of all kinds, breakfast burritos, bacon, mashed potatoes, hash browns, bacon, eggs.
“Mum! We are never going to finish all this food! I feel like I'm eating with the queen!’ Louis exclaims as his eyes gaze through the variety of food.
“Wow! I feel full just by looking at all of this food,” I say with a giggle.
“Let’s dig in!” Liz says, grabbing a plate.
We all nod in agreement and reach over to grab empty plates.
I reach to grab a plate but Louis was already handing me one.
“Here ya go,” He says with a bright smile.
“Wow what a gentleman,” Issie teases as she goes to grab some waffles.
I smile and grab the plate from his hand.
“Thank you, Louis!” I say with a pout. He’s so sweet and thoughtful.
“As he should!” Millie demands and I let out a laugh.
“I will always treat her right,” Louis says, grabbing a plate for himself.
“Well, I’m glad you do, Louis. I have always told you to be respectful and to treat a girl right and I am really glad and proud of you for treating y/n this way,” Liz says with a proud smile.
I turn over to Louis with a smile and he looks over at me. He looks straight into my eyes and squeezes our intertwined hands three times. I smile. Gosh, he makes me melt every time. I blush and smile a thank you to him.
Every time one of us squeezes each other's hand three times, it indicates us secretly saying I love you, to one another. Each squeeze represents each word. It was our thing.
I love him too.
I turn away as I feel my cheeks warm up.
“Aww she’s blushing,” Issie teases as she pokes my sides.
From the corner of my eye, I see Louis turn once he hears Issie’s statement.
James and Liz laugh in awe.
Once Louis realizes that I certainly am blushing he lets go of our hands and pulls me into him.
“Aww. C’mere!” He smiles as he kisses my temple.
They all laugh and continue filling up their plates.
As they all place their attention on serving themselves breakfast, my face no longer turns red.
Louis gives me another temple kiss before letting me go.
I smile and go to serve myself portions from different platters.
As I finish filling my plate, I dig my fork into a pancake.
They look so delicious.
I placed the fork into my mouth and I was already in a food coma. The food was incredibly delicious. The pancakes were so fluffy and warm. Without a doubt, they were the best pancakes I’ve ever tried.
I continued digging into the other portions and it was all too delicious.
“Wow, this is really delicious mum!” Louis says with a full mouth of eggs and bacon.
I giggle as his parents scold him.
“Okay okay! I’m sorry!” He says quickly swallowing his food.
“This is why we can’t have nice things, Louis!” Millie scolds.
Louis is left with his mouth agape.
“It’s literally my birthday guys. I was trying to show my gratitude mum!” Louis defends.
I roll my eyes at him and Liz shakes her head.
“Point was you were talking with a mouth full of food and we’re in a high end restaurant, Louis,” Issie adds.
“I feel really attacked,” He says and digs into more food.
James and I laugh.
“Just eat your birthday breakfast, babe,” I say, patting his back.
“Mhm.” He says pretending to be hurt.
“Oh stop!” I say with a smile.
He couldn’t hide his smile anymore and let out a laugh.
“You’re such an idiot,” Millie says with a playful eye roll.
Louis lets out an adorable laugh and I couldn’t help but smile and feel warm on the inside.
He was my idiot.
Towards the end of our meal, an enormous group of employees surrounded our table.
“Oh no…” Louis whispered loud enough for me to hear.
I giggle and hold his hand.
“Who in this table is Louis?” A worker called out.
We all pointed at Louis and he rose his hand.
“That’ll be me,” Louis calls out.
They hand him a candlelit dessert.
As it was placed in front of him, all eyes in the restaurant were on him.
The employees erupted into a song to wish Louis a Happy Birthday.
“Woohoo!” James and Liz cheer from across the table.
I let go of Louis' hand and began to cheer him on.
We all clap our hands as the singing ceases.
“Thank you,” Louis kindly says to us all.
The workers nod and reply with ‘you’re welcome'.
Liz stands from her seat and goes to hug her boy.
Louis smiles appreciatively and goes in to hug her, as well.
He’s so sweet to his parents. He hugs her tightly and whispers words of gratitude only for her to hear.
She goes on to kiss his cheek and he flushes.
Her mom lets go and James goes in to pat Louis.
“Happy Birthday son. You know we love you and we’ll always be here for you. We believe in you and here’s to many more,” James says pulling Louis in.
“Thanks, dad!” Louis says holding onto his father.
“Happy Birthday Louis!” Millie calls out from her seat.
“Love you!” Issie smiles.
“Thanks, guys. Much appreciated!” He says gracefully.
We all stood up and headed out of the restaurant.
Louis and I walked behind everyone as we headed to the car.
“What are we doing now?” Louis cheekily says.
I turn over to look at him and smile.
“It’s a surprise!” I beam.
“A surprise?!” He exclaims.
“Mmhmm!” I nod.
“What kinda surprise?” He questions placing his lips on my cheek, hoping I’d give him more information.
“I can’t tell you,” I giggle.
He lets out a whine and lets his head fall back.
“Nope. Not happening!” I smile looking at his impatience.
“Can you at least give me a hint?” He pleads.
“You’ll eventually find out. As of right now you just can’t know,” I giggle.
“Ughh!” He groans as we make it to the car.
I roll my eyes and laugh to myself.
Louis opens the door for me and heads into his seat after me.
“Why is he being annoying this time?” Millie asks.
“Y/N won’t tell me my surprise!” He desperately says.
“Well it’s supposed to be a surprise,” James says, turning on the car.
“Wait! So you know what it is?” Louis says as his eyes glow.
They all nod.
“This sucks!” He says, crossing his arms.
“Alright here. I was going to wait until we got home. But since you’re upset about not knowing y/n’s surprise. We can give you ours right now,” Liz says, pulling out a black box from her purse.
“What is this?” Louis says as he holds the black box in the palm of his hands.
“Our first surprise,” James says looking at the back seat from the rearview mirror.
‘Why thanks guys,” Louis smiles as he opens up the black box, revealing an elegant watch.
His eyes widened in amazement.
“Mum! Dad!” Louis lets out in shock. “Thank you! I don’t even know what to say! I don’t even know how to react.” Louis says attentively, laying his eyes on the watch.
“I got my first watch on my 18th birthday and I wanted to do the same for you. Keep it going you know?” James says from the driver's seat.
“It's very grand. I can’t thank you enough!” Louis says looking up to his parents.
“Well put it on!” Issie clamors.
Louis carefully pulls the watch out and unclips it, placing it through his wrist. His other hand clips on the watch to his hand.
Louis flicks his wrist and smiles.
“Thank you, dad! Thank you, mum! Looks good doesn’t it?” He says to them and he shows them his arm.
“It looks great honey!” Liz smiles.
“It really does! It goes perfectly! James says as he looks at the watch on Louis’ wrist.
His eyes turn back to the road as we pull up to the Partridge’s neighborhood.
“Ahhh! Okay, time to close your eyes!” Liz says as she jumps in her seat.
“What?” Louis laughs nervously.
“Close your eyes quickly!” James warns.
“Bloody hell! What’s going on?!” Louis says not closing his eyes.
“CLOSE YOUR EYES!” Millie and Issie yell.
“No! Not until I know what’s going on!” He replies.
“Oh my god!” I reply as I see that the house is nearing our sight.
Everyone in the car is yelling for him to shut his eyes, so I do it for him.
I quickly place my hands over his eyes, right in time for him to not see his other present, parked in the driveway.
I gasp as I see the black sports car lavishly parked on their driveway.
“WHAT! What’s going on?” Louis questions as he tries to open his eyes, once he hears my gasp.
We all choose to ignore him.
Now I knew he was getting his first car but seeing it now in close proximity, I was excited. It was nice, really nice.
James parks on the sidewalk that leads to the driveway where Louis’ sports car is.
Everyone excitedly gets out of the car. James and Liz open the door so Louis and I can get off.
“Okay, step out of the car,” James speaks.
“Well I mean I can’t really see,” Louis mutters.
“Just get out of the car! Hurry!” I exclaim.
“Okay okay!” He rushes.
He places his feet out onto the ground and carefully stands, with me behind him. Eyes still covered by my hands.
“Keep walking…” I trail as I lead him from behind.
He does so and we all lead him to the front of the car.
“What is going on?” He asks.
“Okay in 1… 2…. And 3… !” We all yell and I let go of my hands. He flutters his eyes open and gasps in surprise.
“Bloody hell! Is it mine? No way!” He says as he runs his hand through his hair walking towards the black vehicle.
“All yours!” James smiles.
“No way!” He says in shock.
“But… As of right now. It’s y/n’s,” Liz says, handing me the keys.
Louis looks over to me in confusion as I smirk.
“I’m soooo confused right now!” He says as he looks around.
I walk to the driver’s side of the car.
“Get in, loser!” I say jingling the keys over the car.
He furrows his eyebrows with a growing smile as he walks over to the passenger side.
I smirk as I open the door hopping into the car. I grip the steering wheel once I’m seated and I take a look around at the black interior.
I hear Louis open the passenger door. He bends down, half of his body in the car, taking a look at it in astonishment. Hand on the open door as he looks in.
Fuck that’s hot. His large hand gripped onto the wide open door of the passenger seat.
Louis looks over at me, face close to mine.
“Is it actually mine?” He says with a smile.
“Yes!” I beam with a huge smile. “Now come on!” I say excitedly for him to come in.
He furrows his eyebrows and smiles.
“What are you planning?!” He asks deeply as he reluctantly gets in the car.
As he shuts the door I fasten my seatbelt.
“Be safe!” Liz yells from the driveway.
I start the car and lower the window. I wave out to them and nod.
“Why is she saying that? Why do we have to be safe?” Louis bombards with questions.
“BYEE!” They all shout.
“BYEE!” I yell with a huge smile.
I start reversing out of the driveway and Louis confusingly waves bye to his family.
“What’s going on y/n? Tell me!” He says with a huge smile.
“We’re going… somewhere…” I trail off and we wave goodbye before I drive off.
“Where are we going?” He questions annoyingly as he grabs my hand.
“You really want me to drive with one hand in your brand new car?” I question with a smile as I look over at him for a split second.
“I can’t even believe it’s my car. I haven’t acknowledged it as my car. It hasn’t hit me yet,” He explains, his eyes fixated on me.
“Well, it’s your car! Take it all in!” I say as I turn over to him, looking at him with a cocked brow and smile.
“Hmm.” He hums looking around.
“This day has been like no other! It's been fantastic!” Louis beams.
“I’m happy for you, baby,” I smile looking over at him and away from the road.
He looks at the road and sees that it's clear, so he quickly goes in for a kiss.
“Thank you, baby!” He says right after he pulls away.
I smile and continue to drive.
“God. I can’t believe this is my car! That’s crazy!” He says as a wave of shock comes back in.
I laugh and keep my eye on the road, Louis still not having a clue as to where we're going.
“Now I’ll be able to bring you food when you’re hungry, drop by your room uninvited, take you on more dates, and all the things we can get away with while we’re in this car alone. By ourselves…” He trails getting quieter at the end.
I let out a snort.
I shake my head and giggle.
He laughs too.
“That's all I’m sayinggg!” He says in a singsong tone.
I giggle and shake my head as he holds onto my hand.
“Okay, we’ve been driving for a while now! Where are we going?” He chuckles, looking over at me.
“We’re spending the day in London!” I shouted with a giggle. “We can go wherever you want and do whatever you want!”
“That sounds delightful. I get to spend the day with you in my town. What more could I ask for?” He says sweetly.
I blush and he goes to grab my face proceeding to squish my cheeks.
I giggle and pat his hand away.
“I’m trying not to crash your car,” I say with a giggle.
“Oh also did I forget to add that we’re staying the night in the city?” I say with a smile as we start nearing the big building of London.
“What? Louis baffles.
“I got us a room. So no need to worry about heading home or worrying about curfews. We’re all alone, to do whatever we want,” I smile brightly.
“Y/N! You’re literally the best! You know me all too well!” He smiles and takes my hand to his lips.
I feel all mushy as he places his lips against my skin.
“I knew you’d want a day all to ourselves, so I planned it out just like that. We have extra clothes in the back for the night, that Issie placed earlier this morning. And now it's just up to you. What would you like us to do!” I reckon.
“You’re perfect! Literally perfect!” He expresses and he continues to add kisses to our intertwined hands.
I blush and hide away as I focus on driving.
“Well, we can walk around the streets, sightsee, grab some drinks, some snacks. As of right now, all I want to do is walk around, you by my side as I hold your hand or have my arm around you,” He says with a twinkle in his eye.
“Aww Louis!” I say with a pouty face.
He chuckles and marks a kiss on my cheek.
I drive into the big streets and look around for a parking spot.
“Birthday luck,” Louis calls, pointing towards an empty parking spot.
I sigh.
“Thank goodness!” I say in relief.
Louis chuckles and I go to park his car in the street.
As I successfully parked I turn off the car.
Louis immediately stops me from doing anything.
“Don’t move!’ He ordered.
I chuckle and stay seated as he exits the car and goes to my side to open my door.
“M’lady,” He says in a posh accent, which really is just a deeper British accent for him.
I giggle and place my hand on Louis’ as he has it out for me.
I smile sheepishly as he’s bowed down.
“Louis…” I trail shyly.
“What? I’m being a gentleman to my girlfriend, soon to be wife,” He remarks.
I laugh and shake my head.
“You’re adorable!” I whisper as I have my face millimeters away from his. He smiles as he looks me in the eyes, his eyes full of love and adoration as he looks into me. I went in for a kiss, it was sweet and slow.
Louis pulls away, our lips still pressed on one another.
“I love you,” He whispers.
I swift my eyes down and smile. I look back up into his brown eyes and peck my lips onto his once more.
“I love you, too,” I murmur into our lips.
“Come on. Let’s go,” He says and grabs my hand, leading me into the streets of London.
He walks fast with his long legs.
“Louis!” I shriek. “You’re speed walking over here. While I’m like being dragged!” I say with a laugh.
He looks back at me and laughs.
“Sorry!” He says. “I just want to take you to this place. I’m excited.”
I giggle and go in to kiss his cheek.
“I fucking love you. You’re just too cute and adorable. I can’t handle it!” I say as I giggle into his cheek.
He lets out a laugh and turns his head causing our lips to interlock, as I was previously kissing his cheek.
He longingly kisses me and pulls away with a sly smile.
“I saw what you did there!’ I say with a smirk.
We eventually made it.
“Okay this place has the best and I mean best ice cream!” Louis thrills.
“Alright. I’ll take your word for it!” I say and I walk straight into the shop.
We both order a sundae that gives us the option of 5 scoops of our choice of ice cream.
“Okay we’ll get chocolate,” Louis starts.
“Vanilla,” I continue.
“Rocky Road.”
“Chocolate Chip.”
“And strawberry,” Louis ends.
The worker nods and starts preparing our sundae which has whipped cream, peanuts, chocolate syrup, and a couple of cherries.
“It looks delicious!” I say as I grip Louis' hand and lay my head on his arm.
He looks down at me and smiles.
“You’re so cute!” He says, looking down at me in awe.
I look up at him and blush.
I tippytoe barely reach his height and go in to kiss his beautiful lips.
“I love you,” I murmur into the kiss.
He smiles and murmurs it back.
Our names are called and we head out with sundae in hand. We find an empty bench that gives us a view of London’s Tower Bridge and its waters.
After a bit of silence and our sharings of the sundae, Louis lets out a sigh.
“I love this day,” He says, looking out into the distance.
My gaze stays fixated on him and he looks out into London’s waters.
I lay my head on his chest and wrap my arms around him. I look up and his neck calls out to me. I smile and press my lips against his neck.
He immediately looks down at me as my lips are pressed onto his neck.
“You’re really going to tempt me in the middle of London?” He smirks.
“I’m not even trying to tempt you,” I say with a playful eye roll. “Your neck is just right here as I’m laying my head on your chest and I just can’t help but kiss you.” I cutely say.
He chuckles and shakes his head.
After a couple of seconds of silence, he speaks up again.
“I could live like this forever and never complain,” He says and he puts his arm around my shoulder.
“As long as I’m in your arms I’d never complain,” I respond.
“As long as you’re in my arms I’d never complain.” He replies.
I smile into his chest.
Our ice cream sundae, now gone.
After a while of looking into the water and the Tower Bridge, we stood up to further our walk.
“Where to now?” I say from beside him.
He shrugs.
“I’m not sure.” He says as he holds onto my hand.
I nod and we continue to walk until we make it to the shops.
We randomly walk into a clothing store and we look around for a bit.
“Do you want me to buy you anything?” I gently ask, trying not to interrupt our comfortable silence.
He looks down at me like I’m crazy.
“Definitely not!” He exclaims.
“Louis. It’s your birthday!” I say.
“It’s okay! You've already done a lot for me today,” He explains.
“I haven’t done much!” I say looking up at him.
“Well you’ve done more than you know,” He says, bending down to kiss my lips.
He pulls away and I pout.
“Sorry sweetheart!” He says regarding ending the kiss. “I just need to get this point across. You’ve done a lot. A lot more than you think! Because all the little things you do, mean everything to me. Like your little surprise at midnight, the way you smile and look at me like I’m the only one you see, when you give me cute random kisses, hold my hand, when you baby me, when I ask you for clothing advice. Like the things you do, don’t go unnoticed. Because I notice and I’m aware of it all. You’ve done so much and now you bring me to London and tell me you got us a room. It’s more than I could ever ask for. Really,” He says as he holds both of my hands and looks at me as he speaks.
“Louis,” I say as I look up at him in awe. “I do all these things naturally. I don’t keep my eyes on you because I expect you to notice or because I want you to pay attention to what I do. When those small things happen it’s because I genuinely do them. Like they just happen at the moment. It happens because I care for you because I’m in love with you. I hold your hand and kiss you randomly because that’s what my heart and soul desire. You’re the one that my heart desires. It will always be you and I will always love you. This little trip to London is nothing compared to how much I feel and care about you! We could spend the day in Bora Bora or in your bed and I’d be happy just to be with you,” I say, intertwining our fingers as our hands are already being held.
“And I feel the same way. As long as I’m with you I’m happy. It doesn’t matter where we are, I’ll always be glad to be with you. My heart desires you too. Like if the body was ruled by the heart instead of the brain I’d be kissing you 24/7, nonstop, all the time. I’d have you on me and against me for like ever!” He says with a cheeky smile.
I shake my head and smile.
“The workers are probably wondering if we’re going to buy something or if we’re just going to longingly look into each other's eyes the whole time!” I say with a chuckle.
Louis lets out a laugh. “Yeah. Let’s get out of here!”
“Before we leave. Are you sure you don’t want you to get anything?” I ask before we exit.
“Definitely not!” He says with a chuckle.
I giggle. ‘Okay.”
We exit the shop.
“Now the real question is do you want me to buy you anything?” He says holding onto my arms as he moves in front of me blocking my sight.
“If you don’t let me buy you anything, I’m not letting you buy me anything!” I say with sass.
Louis snickers and rolls his eyes.
“Why do you make things so complicated?” He says as we continue to walk.
“What? I’m not even making it complicated!” I say letting out a laugh.
He stays quiet and tries to hide the smile that’s daring to show.
I smile and roll my eyes.
“You’re-”
He quickly shushes me and places a finger onto my lips.
“I’m not complicated!” He immediately says as he injects my sentence.
My mouth is left agape.
“If you weren’t complicated and extra, you wouldn’t have shushed me!” I interject.
He rolls his eyes.
“Whatever,” He says.
I look away from him with a smile, shaking my head.
We walk around the shops with our hands intertwined.
“I still can’t believe I have a car now. That’s insane!” He beams as he looks down at me.
“I know, right? It’s quite nice,” I smile up at him.
He nods and hums in amusement.
My eyes wander around and I gasp once I see a bakery.
“What?” Louis questions at my gasp.
“We have to go here! Come on! Come on,” I demand as I pull Louis towards the direction of the cake shop.
Louis takes a look inside the large windows and realizes it’s a bakery in which you get to decorate your own cake.
He sees my large smile and shakes his head.
“If you insist,” He says with a laugh.
“Oh come on. It’ll be fun. We’ll get to eat the cake that we decorate!” I say knowing he wants to do it just as much as me.
“Oh alright.” He says with a playful eye roll.
“Yayy!” I say and tippytoe to kiss his cheek.
His cheeks flush and we both enter the shop.
We get handed a cake and get told where all the decorations and supplies were located.
“Let’s get started!” Louis smiles as we comfortably sit across from each other.
The round cake that’s covered in fondant is placed on the table.
Louis opens up a package that contains more fondant.
“I’m thinking of getting these cutters and shaping the fondant into random things,” Louis says as his focus is on trying to open up the fondant. I giggle at how hard he’s trying.
“Yeah, I grabbed a couple of cutters too!” I say placing them on the table.
“Ooo let me see!” Louis curiously says.
I smile and start explaining what each cutter is.
“So I got this star because you’re my star and because you’re becoming an excellent star in the business. Everyone’s going to know who you are!” I start and pause as I notice how interested Louis is in my choice of cutters, making me blush.
Louis hums for me to go on. His head in the palm of his hands.
I nod and go on. “Then I got this heart to represent how I feel about you,” I say, holding it up for him to see.
“Oh now you’re making me feel so basic about mine,” He gushes, causing me to laugh.
“I’m sure they’re great!” I say.
Louis picks up one of his cutters with a huge smile on his face trying to suppress his laughter but completely fails letting it all out.
“Oh, I’m sorry!” He says in between laughs. “So this one is of a little boy,” He says, holding it out for me to see. “I don’t know why I got it but I just did. I guess it can be me.” He dumbly says.
I furrow my brows and let out a smile.
“Okay?” I say letting out a small laugh. “Makes sense.”
“And then I got a ‘1’ and ‘8’’ He ends, holding the two numbers together to make an ‘18’.
“You’re so adorable you know that?” I say grabbing the fondant that Louis previously opened.
“Yeah, I think so,” He arrogantly says with a playful shrug.
I roll my eyes.
We start placing the cutters on the fondant and sticking them onto the cake.
“It’s coming along nicely,” Louis says as we finish adding all the shaped fondant.
I nod in agreement.
“Time for the icing!” I excitedly say, grabbing it.
“Take full reign,” Louis says, eyeing my next move.
I smile and start writing ‘Happy Birthday Louis’ on the face of the cake with an exclamation point. But instead of the exclamation point having a period at the bottom it has a heart.
“There,” I say with a proud smile.
“Perfect!” Louis softly says at the finished product and looks up at me. “You’re perfect.”
I melt at his compliment and pout. He goes to grab my hand from across the table and sweetly smiles.
“I love you,” He says with a voice to die for.
“I love you too!” I say softly to him. I lean over the table and sweetly peck his lips. He smiles.
“Shall we go now?” He asks and I nod.
Our cake gets placed in a box to go and I pay for the cake.
Louis frowns.
“It’s your birthday okay?” I say holding onto his hand.
He grunts to himself, causing me to laugh.
“Thank you!” Louis says to the worker as he gets handed the box.
We head out of the shop hand in hand. One hand was holding mine and his other was holding the box of cake.
“What time do we have to check into the hotel?” Louis asks as we walk mindlessly through the city.
“There’s no specific time,” I responded.
He smiles like he’s got something up his sleeve.
“Why?” I inquire.
“I have the perfect spot!” He beams with a huge toothy smile.
“Alright.” I say slowly waiting for him to reveal more of his ‘perfect spot’.
“So there’s this perfect place we can go to. It has a perfect view, it’s secluded, and we can eat our cake there!” Louis elated with beaming eyes.
“That sounds wonderful!” I say in awe as I swing our interlocked hands.
He chuckles and nods in agreement.
“We’ll have to take the car to our special destination,” He charmingly says.
I smile in favor and hand him the keys.
As soon as we make it to the car he lets go of my hand and jogs over to open the passenger side door.
“Aww. You’re so sweet, babe!” I say pouting and going in for a quick kiss.
He chuckles and closes the door for me once I’m seated in his car.
He gets in the car and places the cake in the backseat.
“Okay.” He says once he fastens his seatbelt. “It’s not too far from here but we’ll probably get stuck in traffic. Which isn’t that bad because we’ll kill time and make it right on time for the sunset,” He rants, pulling out of his parallel parking and onto the road.
“Wow, babe. That's kinda hot,” I let out. My eyes were on his hands that were placed on the fine black steering wheel.
He quickly looks over at me and chuckles.
His right hand leaves the steering wheel and firmly makes it onto my thigh.
“Hey! Both hands on the wheel sir!” I remark.
“Oh shove off!” He says with an eye roll which ends with my chuckle.
I place my hand on top of his and I see the smile that grows on his face making me feel the butterflies all over again.
“I can never get over the fact of how lucky I am to have you, Louis,” I softly say looking over to him.
“If anything I’m the lucky one, y/n,” He says looking over to me, taking his eyes off the road for a slight second.
I shake my head.
“I’m being serious, Louis,” I say just as soft. “I really am amazed with you. Everything about you,” I say intertwining over fingers and bringing our hands to my lips.
I sense his blush.
“Thank you.” He softly whispers. “I really appreciate it, love.”
I nod and hum in response.
I shift in my seat and lay my head on his right arm.
“You tired?” He asks, concerned.
I shake my head.
“No. I just feel comfortable is all.” I mumble out.
Louis nods cutely looking down at me in awe.
“This feels so surreal,” Louis says regarding driving his brand new vehicle.
“I’m sure it does!” I say standing up from my past position. “The sun seems to be going down,” I say looking out the window.
Louis looks out and looks at the sky.
“Good thing we’re here then,” Louis beams, turning off his car at the side of an empty street.
“Where are we?” I say unbuckling my seatbelt.
“You’ll see. Now come on!” Louis says getting out of the car and reaching out for the cake.
I chuckle in confusion as I get out of the car, following his lead.
“Come here,” He calls out to me with his hand out.
I skip over to him, grabbing his hand.
He leads me across the street to what seems like an abandoned parking building.
“The view looks amazing from up there!” Louis says as he leads me into the first floor of the parking structure. We make it to the stairs and start the venture up it.
“It’s a bit long but it’s worth it, I promise!” He says excitedly.
I laugh and nod.
Everything is worth it when I’m with him.
The flight of stairs was lengthy, it was around a dozen floors worth of stairs.
The sky was in full view when we finally made it to the rooftop of the building.
“Nice, right?” Louis says pulling me into him.
“Yeah. Nice.” I say looking around at the beautiful setting sky. “It looks beautiful.”
“It does and just wait for it to get dark! You’ll see all the lights from here. It really is an incomparable view,” Louis explains and finds a spot for us to sit that catches the view perfectly.
The sky showcased a nice array of deep colors. I hold onto Louis' hand and lay my head on his shoulder. I lay comfortably on him and he puts an arm around me.
“God I love you!” Louis sighs after a moment of silence.
I blush and look down.
“You’re adorable.” He lovingly says once he realizes I’m a blushing mess.
He pets the top of my head and looks out into the dazzling city of London.
“I wouldn’t trade this for the world,” I softly let out into the air.
“Me neither,” Louis hums, looking down at me and smiling.
“Your smile always kills me,” I say with rosy cheeks.
“My smile is just my body expressing and saying what I can’t form into words. I just look at you and I’m like damn.” Louis says, his voice lowering towards the end.
I smile and leave kisses on his hand.
“Shall we open our cake?” Louis asks, grabbing the box.
“Yes!” I beam out and situate myself up
Louis opens up the box and takes out the cake.
“Let me take one last look at it before it’s gone,” He says to himself as he takes one last look at it.
“Hey!” He calls out. “I didn’t know you added this?” Louis says with a surprised look on his face, pointing at the crown shaped fondant.
I geekily smiled.
“I added it while you weren’t looking! It signifies you being my prince, my king.” I shyly say, placing my hand on the opposite side of his face and placing a soft kiss on his cheek.
“Aww. Baby!” He says slightly putting his body over mine, causing me to lean back. “You’re my queen,” He whispers against my lips, his body threatening to push me against the floor.
He looks down at my lips and they flicker back up to my eyes and without hesitation he presses his lips against mine, causing me to fall back. Our kiss deepens once I’m in between the ground and Louis.
Louis' hand makes it to my neck and jaw, holding it softly. We were there laying on a rooftop with our cake awaiting us. Louis lays on top of me and he pulls away, looking deep into my soul.
“Come on, let’s eat some cake,” He mumbles, sitting up and holding out his arm for me to grab. I do so and he pulls me up and we both sit.
He hands me a fork and we both dig in.
“This is delicious!” Louis says with a mouthful.
I giggle as he has a mouthful of the cake.
“Gosh, it looks beautiful out here!” I say, mesmerized by the bright lights of London in contrast to the now dark sky.
Louis nods and wraps his arms around my waist.
He looks over to me and then back at the view.
He prompts a kiss on my head and smiles.
I turn to look at him.
“What’s in that head of yours?” I ask curiously.
Louis shakes his head looking away.
“Just thinking of how amazing this moment is,” He lets out.
My heart warms up to his sweet thoughts.
I look down and place my hand over his hand that is placed on his lap. While the other is still wrapped around me.
He smiles at my small gesture. Loving how it felt to have my fingers tracing along the top of his hand. It gave him a nice ravishing feeling.
He couldn’t lie, he did feel a bit irked when the tickling of the tracing stopped when I went to get another fork of cake.
I giggle once I notice the disheveled look on his face.
He wasn’t good at hiding his thoughts.
“Come here,” I say with a laugh as I go to grab his free hand.
He laughs and I start tracing my nails along the top of his hand.
“I’m not looking forward to walking down that long flight of stairs!” I groaned out.
“We should just stay here,” He chuckled.
“Or…. You could just carry me.” I smiled jokingly.
“Do you want me to die!” He exclaimed, but his eyes immediately widened once he realized how that came out.
“What?!” I rose my brows at him in surprise. “Are you calling me-”
“No, no, no! Not like that! I swear! I just meant like it’s a long flight of stairs and it’s tiring walking down it on your own. I- I swear I wasn’t calling you anything like that! Carrying even a baby would be tiring because you’re holding something. Oh, fuck me.” He sighs as he tries to explain his horrible wording.
I let out a laugh and roll my eyes at him.
“You have such an amazing way with words, don't you Louis?” I tease.
“Oh stop!” He says, rolling his eyes at me. His smile curled up into his cheeks after he let out a huge sigh in relief, knowing that I understood that he was in no way saying anything harmful.
“You’re such an idiot!” I say playfully shoving him.
“Wellll I’m your idiot!” He beams.
I giggle and nod.
“Okay. I'm just glad you didn’t take it the wrong way!” He says with another sigh.
I giggle.
“I know what you meant, Louis,” I smile, pecking his lips in reassurance.
“Oh thank god!” He says with another huge sigh, holding his hand over his heart.
I let out a giggle with another eyeroll.
“Come on. Let’s get going before room service ends!” I smile standing up and lending my hand out for Louis to grab.
“Alright.” He smiles idiotically.

Well my standards have really lowered when I comes to writing fanfiction a XD
First I didn’t want to write any at all, then I didn’t want to write for any cartoons, then I didn’t want to write for cartoon turtles... and here i am.
Here I am starting a x reader fanfiction... with the 2014/2016 version of Raph
Still a bit uncomfortable with this but I had an idea so here we go! If I like it then I’ll keep going :p
Lol what am I doing with my life XD
Too tall
Raph x tall! Fem! Reader
Summary: yes this is me self projecting. Reader is 6 foot 4 inches tall and literally every boy she meets is too insecure to date her when she’s that tall. After a while of being treated like she unbreakable and a giant she gets tired of it. Luckily there’s someone else out there who understands how she feels.
———-
You tapped the cafe table impatiently, trying not to watch your friend and her boyfriend across from you. You attempted to look at the door instead. Maybe if you stared at it long enough then your date would show up.
“It’s okay! I’m sure he’ll show up.” She tried to console you as her boyfriend held her tiny little hand.
Perfect.
Small.
You looked at your own clenched hands and wished that yours could fit so perfectly in someone else’s hands. But, sadly, big hands come with height.
No boy your age ever came close to you.
It’s not that you minded.
It’s that they did.
You didn’t care that practically every boy you met barely went up to your shoulder. You wanted companionship. You didn’t need them to be a hulking giant. You needed someone who loved you.
This wasn’t Tall Girl for goodness sake.
You weren’t waiting around for some tall man to show up.
Unfortunately no guy was willing to step up to the plate.
Why might you ask?
Insecurity of course.
The last three guys that turned you down all said they weren’t comfortable with being shorter than their girlfriend. Others said they weren’t looking for a girlfriend.
Funnily enough they all ended up with girlfriends maybe a week later.
The other girls were incredibly tiny. They barely even made it to the boys shoulders. If that.
But you thought maybe this boy would be different.
He seemed like he was.
He seemed interested at least.
He SEEMED like he was excited when you asked him on a double date with your best friend and her boyfriend.
But an hour passed already and he wasn’t there.
You sat up with a bit of a huff. “It’s fine. Let’s just... let’s just enjoy dinner.”
Your friend frowned at you but decided to let it drop. She knew you hated whenever anything like this was addressed so she bit her tongue and changed the subject.
You couldn’t enjoy dinner or pay attention to anything brought up.
Oh you tried.
You gave it the old college try.
But you found your mind wandering back to the lost date way to often.
After another thirty minutes you stood up. “You know what? I’m kind of tired and I still have some homework to finish up. You two enjoy your date!” You grabbed your bag and walked out before your friend could even call you back.
You just needed some time to yourself.
Time to think.
You walked down the sidewalk slowly, half heartedly wishing that the boy would call you and give an amazing reason as to why he was two hours late.
You stopped yourself from reaching for your phone to check for a text.
No it was his loss.
Not yours.
Surely there was someone out there for you... waiting for you to come along.
Someone that wouldn’t care if you were a little taller than them.
You huffed and zipped your bag shut. Whoever they were, they definitely weren’t that boy.
“Hey girl, who you all dressed up for?” Came a voice from the alley you were about to pass.
“No time to talk.” You answered quickly and continued walking.
You weren’t about to give them the time of day. There was a tub of ice cream and a sappy romance movie waiting for you back at your apartment.
“Come on, a girl like you with legs like that? Surely you’re dressed up for somebody.” The man stepped out of the alleyway and leaned against the brick wall. “I’m thinkin’ maybe it’s me.”
Oh you wanted to turn him around and hit him with your bag.
But it wasn’t worth the risk.
“Hell no.” You stated curtly and walked by him briskly.
He snatched your wrist, effectively making your skin crawl. “Look at me when I’m talking to ya.”
He pulled you into the alley before you could stop him.
“Maybe you didn’t hear me.” You growled and tried to rip yourself away. “HELL. NO.”
“Come on, baby! Give me a chance-!” He attempted you sweet talk before he was interrupted.
You caught his hand before he could grab you anywhere inappropriate. “I have had a REALLY terrible day. I am a MINOR and if you don’t get lost RIGHT NOW then you’re gonna have some serious problems.”
He was close enough that you could smell the bitter alcohol on his breath.
He was probably a head shorter than you and had no idea what he was getting into.
“I don’t care if you’re a minor-.” He started.
Your fist smashing into his nose stopped his words.
“Like I said!” You growled as you shook the pain out of your knuckles, “I have had a really really REALLY bad day. And YOU are some little gnat just buzzing in my FACE!”
He gripped his nose with a cry, blood dripping down it like a waterfall. “YOU BROKE MY NOSE!”
“YOU PULLED ME INTO AN ALLEY AND TRIED TO TOUCH ME!” You shouted back, hitting him with your purse before he could charge at you. “YOU MADE THIS CHOICE AFTER I WARNED YOU!”
It felt good to take your rage out on somebody. And it was justified to! It wasn’t like you were just beating this man. He wasn’t letting you leave! He kept grabbing you before you could go.
————-
Turtles pov
They crouched above the alleyway, watching the man pull you into the alleyway.
“We gotta get involved man.” The red masked one whispered. “This doesn’t look to good.”
“I told you, we only get involved if it gets really bad.” The blue one responded with an eye roll. “We can’t risk being seen!”
“It already looks really bad!”
“If she gets anymore hurt then we jump in!”
The orange masked turtle jumped into the conversation. “I don’t know, I think my money’s on the girl.”
“Mikey shut up!” The purple masked brother whispered. “This is serious!”
“So am I! Look at her! She isn’t even scared!”
“I think she at least looks a little scared.”
“Probably cause she’s trying to keep herself from beating the shit out of him!”
Raph rolled his eyes and shoved his younger brother. “It’s our job to do the protectin’ round here. Shut up and- HOLY SHIT!”
The all gasped as you reeled your hand back and knocked your fist into the creeps nose.
“Damn that looked like it hurt.” Leo observed. “Maybe she doesn’t need our help.”
“I say we stay here in case it goes south.” Raph argued, waiting for Leo to argue with him.
“Fine, but we leave when it looks like she’s safe.” Leo nodded and looked back to the fight.
Raph didn’t have time to feel proud that he’d been listened to. Mikey was inching closer to watch. “What the hell are ya doin’?” He reached forward to pull him back. “She’s gonna see ya!”
Mikey leaned over the edge anyway. “Look at her go! I told you he didn’t stand a chance!”
“Who knew using a purse was so effective?” Leo nodded. “Think she’s got it?”
“Looks like it to me!” Mikey laughed and watched with glee. “This is real entertainment.”
“Mikey you’re too close to the edge!” Raph tried to grab him but was shoved away. “You’re gonna fall-!”
————
With that you shoved the man into the wall. “Are you FINALLY done? Have you FINALLY learned your lesson?”
He spit out the blood from his mouth and nodded. “Fine! Please just leave me alone!”
“Good choice!” You shoved him away from you. “Go before I change my mind!”
He was gone before you could even blink.
“That’s right! Get out of here!” You shouted to him as he scurried away.
You lifted your chin triumphantly.
Maybe you hadn’t gotten that date but you sure did beat the crap out of a creep.
You dusted your hands off and snatched your purse off the ground.
“If I catch you harassing anyone else you’ll get it twice as bad!”
No answer of course.
He was long gone.
Still, it felt good to shout.
You could finally go home.
You turned back to the edge of the alleyway with a sigh of relief.
You took one step forward.
Then, the least expected thing happened.
“OH SHIT!”
Next thing you knew you were on the ground after something very large crashed into you.
“What the hell!” You sat up and rubbed your head. “Who just sits on a roof above an alleyway?!”
You grabbed your purse quickly and stood up, ready for another fight.
It wasn’t another creep.
And from the looks of it... it wasn’t even human.
Well, THEY weren’t even human.
You didn’t know what they were.
Green...
Huge...
And shells...
The finally looked at you.
Why were they wearing masks?
What even were they?
Why were they there!?
The one in orange immediately scurried behind the one in red. “Oh shit oh shit oh shit!”
The one in red looked at you and then looked at the guy behind him. “You dragged me into this! You fix it!”
He pulled him forward.
Honestly you had no idea what to think.
There were two GIANT turtles right in front of you! And they were talking!
You gripped your purse a little tighter, waiting to see what they would do.
The one directly in front of you tried to speak only to look back at the red masked one and then back up at where they had fallen.
You looked from him to where he was looking quickly. “Are there more of you?”
He gulped quickly and attempted to hide behind the bigger turtle. “Uh... yeah?”
You took a small step to the exit. “Are you... are you gonna try to take my purse or something?”
The red one glared at you. “No! We’re just.. just here to protect the city. We ain’t monsters!”
You noticed him getting defensive immediately and nodded. “...okay then. Well, if you’re not going to rob me then I’m going to pretend I saw nothing and go on my way.”
The red one frowned.
You were acting waaaaaaay too casual.
Surely there had to be some other motive.
“Hold on a minute... you ain’t goin’ anywhere yet.”
You glared at him and held out your purse. “Are you gonna stop me?”
Mikey took a step back and Raph rolled his eyes.
“I don’t think a purse is gonna do much against someone like me.” He stated.
“I don’t even know who you are.” You stepped back again and tightened your grip. “I didn’t even know people like you existed until now.”
You looked them up and down, taking them all in.
This couldn’t be real.
It couldn’t be.
“You say anything bout this and you’re dead, got it?” He pointed around you as if aggression could make you quiet.
“Can you at least let me go home and finish my ice cream before you decide to kill me?” You backed up again.
You were so close to running away.
So close to escape.
Before you could back up any further, two more creatures dropped from the sky behind you.
You jumped and scrambled away, nearly running into the red masked turtle.
“Listen, I’m sorry about the way my brother phrased everything.” The new turtle glared at his companion. “What he meant to say is that we protect the city. We were watching that man just in case he tried anything and these two,” he glared at the first two again, “fell off the roof.”
The one next to him pushed up his glasses. “I’m surprised you haven’t passed out from fear yet. The first person we met did just that!”
Your back hit the wall and you had no where else to go. “I’m not too sure if I won’t do that.” You glanced between the four of them. “What even are you guys?”
“Turtles!” The orange one spoke up before the red one could shush him.
“Mutants as well.” The purple one joined.
“And ninjas.”
“And teenagers.”
You couldn’t help but snort. “Mutant turtle teen ninjas? I think you need to rebrand that.”
Maybe you were insane.
Here you were cracking jokes with large turtles at dinner time.
But so far they were harmless, despite their stature. According to the blue one they protect New York.
“Ya got a problem with it?” The red one grew even more tense.
You shook your head quickly. “No. Just... surprised.”
“And scared?” He added. “Scared of monsters like us?”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “I thought you just said you weren’t monsters.”
That seemed to stop him.
So you continued with a deep breath. “You’re all just... really huge. I thought I was tall but standing next to you...” you swallowed and tried not to let your nerves get to you. You turned to the blue one since he seemed to be the leader. “...can I go now? I won’t tell anyone you exist or... whatever it is you want.”
The blue one was skeptical but the purple one butted in.
“Do you have a way home? Like a friend you can call?
You opened your purse. “Yeah I should be able to call an Uber with my...” you pulled out the broken device. “...my phone.”
Well crap.
You stuffed it back in quickly. “It’s okay I’ll just walk-!”
“I can fix it.” He offered. “Besides it’ll be an extra security measure for us if we have your contact information.” He gestured loosely to the hand you’d punched the creep with. “We could also bandage up those cuts.”
You brought up your hand and inspected the blood with surprise.
Well... when were you gonna get another opportunity like this? It’s not everyday a girl gets invited into the homes of local mutants.
Besides you really didn’t want to walk home with your phone destroyed.
The red one looked at the purple one angrily. “You wanna being ‘er back??”
“Our job is to help people, Raph.” He rolled his eyes.
“I’m with Donnie. It’s only fair since we broke her phone.” The blue one nodded.
“Well if it’s not too much trouble...”
—————
Next thing you know you were whisked away to none other than the sewers.
Well that kind of made sense.
No one would ever really want to go down there anyway.
The purple one, whose name you learned was Donnie, had your phone in his three fingers the moment you stepped foot in their home.
“I’ll do a little fixing up, maybe an upgrade, and Raph can take a look at your hands.” He muttered as he started to disappear into a lab like room.
Raph...
He was the red angry one wasn’t he.
The tallest and biggest out of them all.
He didn’t seem too happy about it either.
“Why me?” He protested. “What ‘bout Leo? Or-or Master Splinter? Heck, even Mikey!” He gestured to his orange masked brother as if to showcase how he’d be better at it.
You couldn’t help but silently agree with him.
Mikey seemed the most open on the way here. He’d talked your ear off the whole trip, asking questions about what it was like to be a human and bragging about all the people he’d saved. He’d even wanted you to play a video game with you when you got to their home. He’d been a bit overbearing but that was better than Mr. miffed muscle mountain.
“Hey you’ve broken the skin on your knuckles before. You’ve got experience in it. Just fix her hand and be done.” With that, Donnie was gone.
You shared an awkward moment of eye contact with Raph before he sighed.
“Well, I’m gonna go play my game.” Mikey dashed over to the tv. “Let me know when you two are done and we can play!” He grabbed Leo by the back of his shell and pulled him along.
You bit the inside of your cheek nervously.
It was just you two.
You and the giant turtle boy beside you.
“Aight well...” he cleared his throat. “I guess I’ll take you up to the work out room then?”
He stopped and you realized he was waiting for you to say something. You quickly tried to scrounge up a comprehensible sentence.
“Y-yeah, sounds good with me.” You followed after him quietly, holding your hand so the blood wouldn’t drip everywhere.
The room was smaller than you imagined but still... it was huge to you.
He began rummaging through a box on the table, fumbling with objects. “You can uh... you can sit down while I grab the-the stuff.” He told you quickly.
You didn’t know where to sit so you interpreted his words to mean that you should sit on the work out bench.
You watched patiently as he found the roll of gauze.
Clearly he was just as nervous as you.
You didn’t know why HE was nervous though. He was a giant turtle for goodness sake. He could snap you in half easily.
“Here lemme see that hand.” He shuffled over and reached out.
You gave your right one to him, trying to hold in your nervous shaking.
“Ain’t gonna bite ya.” He rolled his eyes.
“I know.” You commented, watching him start applying disinfectant. “Just never been in a situation like this before.”
He snorted and continued his work.
You couldn’t help but notice how small your hand looked compared to his. Ha. That was new. Usually it was you watching little pick me girls compare their hand size to their crushes. How strange it was for it to be you.
“And I thought I had big hands.” You couldn’t help but blurt out.
He kept his eyes on your hand, examining it a little more. “Ya call this big?”
“Yep.” You glanced around the room, taking in the ‘scenery’.
He snorted. “Damn tiny to me.” He pulled out the gauze and began wrapping your knuckles. “Look, I’m uh... I’m sorry ‘bout the way I handled earlier. My dumbnut brother got us exposed when ya clearly had the situation handled.”
You cringed, remembering that they’d seen you beating the creep. “Yeah I could have handled that better as well.”
He paused for a half second, as if considering his next words, and then continued. “Heard ya say you were havin’ a shit day as well.”
You weren’t exactly sure if you wanted this brought up in the middle of the weirdest experience ever but you were desperate for a smooth conversation. “Yeah, some jackass stood me up.”
He frowned and momentarily made confused eye contact with you. “Stood ya up?”
“You know, as in he said he was gonna go on a date with me and just didn’t show up.” You forced out a laugh. “But it’s fine I got ice cream at home.”
“Mmm.” He muttered. “Sounds like a douche bag.”
Well outta room! Part two will be up I had too much fun :)

Seeing Red | bodyguard!Bucky Barnes x actress!reader (part 8)
(part 1) (part 2) (part 3) (part 4) (part 5) (part 6) (part 7)
series summary: bucky used to brag that he didn’t have a celebrity crush, or really care about famous people at all, which is what made him the perfect person to start working for a celebrity like yourself. except, of course, it’s just his luck that he’d fall for you.
word count: 3k
warnings: smut (semi-public sex), possessiveness (some sexual, some not), jealousy, some fluff and some angst, also some violence (including a very small amount against the reader, proceed with caution), mentions of infidelity in a previous relationship
a/n: oh y’all thought it was gonna be smooth sailing from here on out? lol
You didn’t want to abandon Bucky to do carpetside interviews, but he refused to get anywhere near a hot mic so you let him go while you walked over to a reporter you recognized; she’d been nice before, probably would be again this time, so you were a little relieved to see her tonight.
She introduced you to the camera and you were slightly spaced out until she turned to you and got your attention again. “So, you’ve been making a lot of headlines lately for your new relationship— what’s the scoop? How’s it going?” she asked playfully, pushing the microphone into your face.
“Uh, great,” you breamed, “he’s my date tonight and he seems to have disappeared to…” you turned around to look for him. “Oh, he’s talking to... is that... Laurence Fishburne?”
“James, is that his name?” she prompted, making you focus your attention back on the interview.
“Um, yeah,” you nodded, the name sounding a bit foreign, “legally, but he goes mostly by his nickname Bucky.”
“Aw, that’s cute,” she smiled. “He’s, uh…” her eyes widened a bit and you laughed.
“Yeah, he is,” you smirked. “I assume by that facial expression you mean ‘crazy hot.’”
“I mean, in the politest way possible… yeah,” she giggled.
“Yeah, no, don’t pretend not to notice for my sake, cause, yeah, it’s… apparent.”
“Apparently he was your driver first?” she pressed.
“Yes!” you beamed, and then heard the way it sounded and backpedaled slightly. “I promise that’s not why I hired him. I actually didn’t meet him before he was on my team, but, I mean, I wasn’t mad to have some eye candy in the front seat.”
“Eye candy, huh?”
“But he’s so much more than that, that’s the thing,” you explained. “We became good friends first, because he’s so smart and funny and kind and… I mean, I know he looks tough, and he is, but he’s really very sensitive underneath the slightly intimidating exterior.”
“Hard shell, soft center, sweet— he really does sound like candy!”
“Indeed,” you nodded. “Gotta run but it was nice to chat!”
You dashed over to Bucky and clung onto his arm. “Oh, hey, we were just talking about you,” he beamed.
“Loved you in After Midnight,” Mr. Fishburne smiled and even you were totally starstruck.
“Oh, wow, thanks, I loved you in… everything…” you trailed off, internally scolding yourself for the vague and useless compliment. He was about to respond but was pulled away by some member of his team, giving you and Bucky a quick wave as he began a carpet-side interview.
“That was Laurence Fishburne, wasn’t it.” Bucky mumbled to you in a stunned monotone.
“Yes, what were you doing talking to him?” you asked, amazed at his bravery to approach such a huge star.
“He came up to me, to congratulate me on… on dating you, I guess…”
“Or he mixed you up with Brad Pitt,” you shrugged.
“Yeah, if Brad Pitt lost all his money, spent a decade in the desert, went loco and buzzed all his hair off,” Bucky rolled his eyes.
“Oh come on, you look great,” you soothed him, straightening his tie. “Wanna go take some pictures?”
“I’m a little scared,” he admitted with a shy smile.
“It’s easy, just give them that sexy brooding look you do so well.”
Bucky smirked pridefully. “You think so?”
“Totally. You’re a natural,” you assured.
You tugged his arm and guided him to the carpet, letting him lead the way (or look like he was leading the way) as you found a clear spot and noticed how the cameras instantly flashed faster and brighter. Photographers called your name to get your attention, and you waved and smiled and pulled Bucky closer. The feeling of his arm around your waist was warm and comforting, and you hoped holding you had the same effect for him.
“Where are you looking?” you asked.
“At you,” he answered.
“Bucky,” you giggled, “you’re supposed to look at the cameras!”
“I honestly can’t, it’s blinding,” he frowned.
“Here,” you sighed, pointing out into the darkness just above the sea of flashing lights. “Look out there.”
“I can’t see anything!”
“I know, but, look as if there was something there to look at, trust me, it helps.”
You adjusted slightly a few times, turning a little to show off the low back of your dress. You almost gasped when Bucky held your face and kissed you suddenly, but you were happy to melt into it even as you heard the cameras flash even more aggressively, some whoops and hollers coming from the crowd on and off the carpet.
He pulled back and you wanted to chase him for more but you realized it wasn’t the right time.
“Let’s go inside,” you offered, guiding him the rest of the way down the carpet— mainly because you were afraid you’d end up jumping his bones right here in front of everyone.
He nodded and followed close by, arm resting on your shoulder the whole time, and just as you saw one of your friends and thought you might want to go over and introduce her to Bucky, you saw who she was talking to.
Sam.
Seeing him always made your heart stop. At first, it was because you were starstruck by him, in awe of his talent, amazed that you were going to be working with someone you admired so much. Then it was because you had fallen for him and he had gladly swept you off your feet, bringing you into a whirlwind romance that at the time had felt like the only thing that mattered. But since the break-up, and now, it was something else. Fear wasn’t the word, it’s not like you were afraid of him in a literal sense, but there was this anxiety, this tenseness to seeing him. It always brought back memories— the best and the worst, all at once. Nights laughing together, sharing secrets, stealing glances and touches and kisses; nights spent alone staring at a phone that never rang. Limbs tangled together between the sheets, that warm brown skin encompassing and surrounding yours; laying side by side in a bed that isn’t empty but is still plenty cold, seeing the way he angles his phone away from you and wishing you had the strength to just leave because you already knew what he was doing. The first time you said ‘I love you.’ The first time he said ‘it won’t happen again.’
“You alright?” Bucky asked, tearing you from your thoughts. You looked away and met Bucky’s gaze, hoping he either hadn’t seen your ex or at least hadn’t recognized him.
“Yeah, I’m great,” you answered quickly, “let’s go get some drinks maybe? And then I need to show you off to some people.”
“Show me off?” he scoffed.
“Yeah, why did you think I brought you here, really?” you winked.
“Hey, if we’re showing each other off, does that mean you’ll come to my next high school reunion?”
//
You’d been antsy ever since the two of you had come inside; it was obvious from the way you were clinging so much closer to him, and yet it was clear that your mind was a million miles away.
“Hey, it’s starting to wrap up, wanna head out soon?” you asked, trying to act casual, but he saw the way your eyes were darting up to where Sam Wilson was mingling and he knew it wasn’t about getting home early. Did you really think he wouldn’t notice that you’d seen him?
“Whatever you wanna do,” he shrugged.
“Okay, could you bring the car around for me then? And I’ll meet you outside?” you offered. “I should say hi and bye to a few people.”
“Sure,” he agreed, starting to walk away after giving you a quick kiss on the cheek.
And he really did try to do what he said he was going to, but the further away he walked, the more he glanced back to watch you walk across the room, the harder it was to just let it go. He knew you were going to talk to him, and before he really even decided to do anything about it he found himself circling back around the room, following you.
He thought he’d lost you when he turned a corner and you were gone, but then he heard voices from a doorway and cracked it open slightly to see you inside with a few other people, nobody he recognized although one of them he’d definitely seen in something before.
He sighed with relief, about to turn and go get the car like he said he would, but then Sam Wilson just had to magically materialize out of thin air as he stepped up behind you and tapped your shoulder.
“Sam!” you blurted out, spinning to face him with wide eyes.
“Hey,” he greeted, acting all suave and shit, making Bucky’s blood boil. “You look great.”
“Oh, thanks,” you mumbled, “you too.”
“You’ve been all over the internet lately, making quite the splash,” he recalled with a contemplative nod. “You and this new boytoy you’ve got.”
“I think the word you’re looking for is boyfriend,” you corrected sternly.
“Honey,” he scoffed as he rolled his eyes. Bucky couldn’t decide if it was worse to hear him call you a pet name in earnest or with the derogatory tone that he currently had. “Everybody knows you go through these guys like potato chips. Especially when they’re not famous— how many PAs did you hook up with on your last set, huh?”
“I don’t roll like that anymore,” you denied.
“That’s not what Jake Friedman says,” Sam smirked. It actually took Bucky a moment to remember that that was the guy you’d… entertained in the backseat of your car, or maybe it was more that he had entertained you; you seemed to tense up when Sam mentioned him, as did Bucky. “I mean, sure, he’s not crew, but he’s not famous the way you are. The way we are. And neither is your new guy. He doesn’t ‘get it’, does he? He doesn’t get what it’s like. Has he already started freaking out about all the hate online?”
Bucky regretted that he’d ever said anything about that; if he’d known it would come around to prove Sam Wilson right about something, he wouldn’t have done it. “No,” you lied.
“Well, he will,” Sam assured you, stepping a little closer to you and letting his fingers languidly brush over your arm. “I made a mistake before, letting you go.”
“Damn right,” you hissed as you pulled away from him.
“But I realized that, and now I’m wondering why we aren’t giving the people what they want.”
“That’s what I never understood about you,” you frowned. “It’s always about other people with you. It’s never about you, and it was never about me.”
“But it is about you,” he explained, “and me: us. You’re forgetting how good we were together.”
You shook your head. “I was single for years and you never called. Now you’re all over me with all these regrets about ending it? Get a grip, Sam. This is about you wanting what you can’t have.”
“Can’t have?” he repeated incredulously. “Baby,” he purred— and Bucky decided it was definitely worse to hear him call you that in earnest. “You know you’re always gonna be mine.”
As you started to shiver, Sam’s arms slipping around your back and grabbing your waist, Bucky felt like he had lost control of his body. He was watching himself from far away as he stormed across the room, nearly knocking a few people over on the way, and shoved Sam off of you and onto the ground.
“Bucky!” you yelped. “Bucky, stop!”
“You’d better watch your hands, Wilson, before they get somewhere they’re not supposed to be,” Bucky growled, ignoring you completely even as you helplessly tugged at his suit.
“Jesus,” Sam spat, “the fuck is wrong with you?”
“What are you doing?” you asked Bucky, irate and confused as you stared up at him with a furrowed brow. He grabbed your hand and guided you out of the room and down the hall, barely managing to drag you into a random bathroom before he started tearing at your dress, leaving rough bites and kisses down your neck as you gasped and moaned softly.
“Mine,” he mumbled against your skin, “all mine. Did you forget?”
“No,” you sighed, “I could never…”
“That’s not what it looked like,” he sneered, hiking up your long skirt to run his fingers over your skin and expose the delicate, lacy panties you were wearing.
“Bucky, please,” you sighed, rubbing your hips up against his leg, riding his thigh shamelessly.
“What’s got you so worked up, baby? Is it me, or him?” he asked darkly.
“You, baby, just you, nobody else— I’m yours,” you assured him feverishly, “I’m all yours, please, I need you.”
“Yeah?” he breathed, fumbling with his belt and fly as he pulled his growing cock from his suit pants. “You need it that bad?”
“Please,” you sobbed, “fuck me.”
He pulled your underwear aside and quickly shoved into you, groaning at the feeling of your walls stretching to welcome him. “Fuck, angel, so tight,” he sighed, knowing how much little praises drove you crazy.
“Bucky,” you sighed, “oh my god… harder, please— n-need you deeper…”
His hips moved back only to slam back against yours, making you whimper; he smiled when he felt your leg wrap around his waist and try to hold him inside, but he couldn’t slow down now, not when he needed this so bad.
He sucked on your neck as he kept thrusting into you, your wetness coating his cock so thoroughly that he slid right home every time. It was clear that he was hitting your g-spot from how you moaned with each thrust, your spongy channel pulsing and tightening in rhythmic patterns.
Overcome with the need to assert his, for lack of a better word, ownership over you, he found himself reaching up to hold your throat— not quite in the way to choke you, just to remind you that he could, if he wanted to.
“Did he ever make you come like this?” he asked with a gravelly whisper, lips right against your ear as he tightened his hand around your neck slightly.
“No,” you shook your head, “nobody has.”
“Nobody’s ever loved you this good but me, is that it? Nobody else has ever fucked you like this?”
“Just you, Bucky, please don’t stop— I’m so close…”
“Do you think they can hear you out in the hallway? Say my name when you come, princess, just in case they can— I want them to know who’s making you feel this good.”
“Bucky,” you whined, chanting it over and over with a few ‘yes’s and ‘fuck’s interspersed occasionally. He thrusted faster and harder as he felt his own orgasm building; he needed to come inside you and claim you again, mark you as his one more time, and the flexing of your walls was only egging him on.
“I know you’re close, baby, just let go,” he whispered against your ear, “come for me, just like that, you’re doing so good— fuck, so good for me…”
You whimpered and clutched at his shoulders, a gush of wetness and a final, strong tightening of your inner muscles signaling that you’d reached your peak. He couldn’t hold back any longer when he saw (and felt) that, groaning as he began to release thick streams of come into you.
The absolute second your afterglow began to fade, you pushed him off of you and grimaced as you adjusted your panties and dress. "The fuck is wrong with you?"
"Wh— what?" he stammered, breathless and confused. "What did I do? Was I not supposed to come inside?"
You gaped at him in shock. "Do you really not realize what you did? Bucky, you assaulted my ex-boyfriend."
"I— he'll be fine," he dismissed, "he was putting his hands on you, what was I supposed to do, just let him do it?"
"You were supposed to let me handle it," you hissed. "You were supposed to be pulling the car around and not spying on me!"
"Spying?! I was protecting you."
"You shoved him hard enough to knock him over, Bucky, that's not okay."
"Hold on," he shook his head in disbelief, "so you're mad at me, when we just had sex?! Why didn't you say something before?"
"Just cause it's hot doesn't mean it's okay," you explained, a little embarrassed.
"Tell me something," he frowned, "what is this—" he motioned to the space between the two of you— "to you? Cause it kinda seems like I think we're boyfriend and girlfriend, and you think—"
"What? What do I think?" you challenged. "Go ahead, tell me."
"You think it's just a sex thing."
"Oh my god," you rolled your eyes.
"Well, what am I supposed to think when you get off on me dealing with your ex, and then tell me it's this big terrible thing?"
A sick idea clawed its way out of the back of Bucky's mind: was Sam right about her? Was Sam right about us?
You crossed your arms and huffed, but didn't respond.
"Was everything that just happened just a fuckin' kink for you or something? Cause I meant every goddamn word," he growled.
You sighed, like you weren't taking it seriously— like you weren't taking him seriously. His fist tightened at his side involuntarily. He'd never felt so used, so ignored; or, at least, he never expected it from you. "We'll talk about this later," you dismissed quickly. "Let's just go back there and put on a happy face, okay?"
"Oh, so you can let another guy feel you up? Sounds like a fucking blast," he hissed.
"Fuck you," you snarled as you pushed him aside to leave the bathroom.
He didn't remember grabbing you, he didn't remember twisting your arm as he pulled you back. He didn't remember you crying out, trying to wrench yourself away, clawing at his grip on you. All he remembered was you looking up at him with watery eyes, expression twisted in fear.
"Bucky, you're hurting me," you whimpered weakly, and only then did he notice his metal hand was holding your wrist. When he let go, he already saw a mark forming in the shape of his hand as you grabbed your freed wrist to rub the damaged flesh.
"I'm sorry—" he began to whisper, but you were already gone.

hi arrow! can i get a fic of ian being jealous on a date (maybe someone flirts with mickey??) and mickey just loves it bc it makes ian all passive aggressive and bossy and saying 'my husband' 283949 times ❤️
Of course you can! Or at least I tried lol, it got a little random.💖
That Green-Eyed Monster (is my husband)
They never had really gotten in the habit of going on dates, before. Not real dates at least, in public places where you could eat with utensils or sit side-by-side and pretend to watch the entertainment while you were really just watching each other. They had tried, but something always got in the way--the military, jail sentences, arrest warrants, pandemics, family emergencies--they just had shit luck, alright?
So when things got a little less crazy on the aforementioned fronts, they started trying a little bit harder. They had a designated date night, now. Sometimes they planned together, sometimes they took turns surprising each other with heartfelt (or sometimes comical) plans.
This time, it had been Mickey's turn.
“Where are we going?” Ian asked yet again from where he was blindfolded in the passenger seat of Tami’s car. They’d usually take the ambulance, but Mickey didn’t want to stick out too much today—not in a place where an ambulance could potentially be needed.
“I still ain’t gonna tell you,” Mickey answered, but relented enough to add, “we’re almost there though, you’ll see soon.”
Sure enough, the entrance to the parking lot came up on the right, and Mickey swung in in that ridiculous little car.
As soon as Ian felt the car stop, he was reaching for his blindfold—not one of their good ones, just an old headband they had found on Debbie’s floor—but Mickey grabbed his hand before he could slip it off.
“Hey hey hey,” Mickey chastised. “What’s the rush there, flash?”
“What, I can’t be a little eager for our date?” Ian pouted, knowing it would get Mickey to give in. No matter how many times he tried to pretend that he wasn’t soft, Mickey always gave in to the pout.
He was right. Gentle hands pushed the headband off of Ian’s eyes, which were immediately filled with the sight of Mickey’s own as the other man ran fingers through Ian’s hair in an attempt to smooth it down.
“Alright, come on then,” Mickey ordered, leaving one firm kiss at the corner of Ian’s lips before pulling back and getting out of the car. “If you’re so eager, you get to pay.”
Ian chuckled as he let himself out and met Mickey around the front of the car. “Why would I pay?” he asked jokingly. “It’s your week to woo me, asshole, you get to foot the bill.”
“Foot the bill with your money, sure,” Mickey retorted, and Ian rolled his eyes as he automatically fell into step beside him.
“Our money,” he reminded his husband, getting an arm around his waist. He was always surprised when Mickey let him do that—he said it felt awkward to walk with the jolly red giant suckered onto his side—but this time Mickey actually leaned into him.
He didn’t even notice where they were, outside a little building in the middle of nowhere. He let go of Mickey to walk through the door ahead of him, fully intending to continue their playful banter, when he stopped still.
There were a lot of guns in this place.
Paintball guns, that was.
“Mickey,” Ian said slowly as his husband came up behind him, “did you bring me here to shoot me?”
Mickey just smirked as he swanned past toward the check-in desk.
“Maybe, hotshot,” he answered. “You gonna complain?”
Ian shook his head with a shit-eating grin.
“Hell no,” he declared. “You better be ready for me.”
Mickey signed his name on a waiver with a flourish and took the gun handed to him by a worker, tossing it to Ian.
“Am I ever not?”
—
Ian was having a blast, pun intended, as he shot the shit out of everybody else on the range. Mickey wasn’t faring too badly either; despite being on the opposite team, neither one of them had managed to shoot each other yet.
It didn’t hurt that Mickey looked damn good, either. He was completely in his element out here, taking guys out left and right with perfect marksmanship and even more perfect form, his shoulders barely moving with the recoil as he shot. Half the time, Ian missed his chance because he was too busy watching him to fire—the other half, he didn’t even want to if it meant taking Mickey out of the game and losing his eye-candy.
Finally, a break was called, and everyone filed off the course while it was reset for the next round.
Ian grabbed a bottle of water from a long table near the building, guzzling half of it in one go before looking around for his husband.
He found him quickly enough, recognizing his back immediately even in unfamiliar gear with his hair all mussed from the protective helmet they had to wear.
But he did not recognize the man standing next to Mickey, raking his eyes over Mickey’s stocky build.
The stranger was saying something, Mickey tossing his head back in laughter, and then a hand was on Mickey’s arm and Ian suddenly found himself at Mickey’s back.
“Everything good here, fellas?” Ian asked casually, standing a couple feet away.
“Fine, Gallagher,” Mickey said with a smile. “Johnny here was just tellin’ me he could give me some pointers before the next round.”
Ian raised his eyebrows, glancing from Mickey’s face to the stranger’s and back.
“Pointers?” he asked, voice going a touch high at the end. Who the fuck did this guy think he was, offering shooting pointers to Mickey fucking Milkovich? He had gotten there just in time, it seemed, because there was no way in hell Mickey would let that insult slide.
“Yeah,” Mickey said. “Says I need to work on my form a little, widen my stance, you know. Thought I’d give it a shot.”
Wait. What?
“I was just telling him,” the stranger—Johnny, though how they were on a first name basis already Ian had no idea—chimed in, “that I have a lot of experience with real firearms.”
“And I was sayin’ how much I admire a military man,” Mickey interjected with a smirk, “so I might as well let him show me some moves.”
“Mickey,” Ian hissed lowly, “what are you doing?”
Mickey didn’t answer.
“You ever shot a real gun, Mick?” Johnny asked abruptly, catching on that he was missing something but determined not to lose Mickey’s attention.
“It’s like nothing else, dude, I swear. The feel of that smooth metal in your hands,” he continued as he moved closer, lifting a hand to Mickey’s arm again. “The way it moves with you, goes off when you,” he leaned in even closer, and added in a low voice, “pull the trigger.”
Alarm bells were ringing in Ian’s head at this point.
“Nah,” Mickey was answering, “my guy won’t let me play with the real stuff.”
“Sounds like you need a new guy, then,” Johnny murmured, and Ian had had enough.
“He’s taken,” he cut in gruffly, moving to stand by Mickey’s side. He couldn’t hold Mickey with the gear in the way, but he got a hand on his back, at least, curling fingers into the top of his waistband.
Johnny looked at him askance, and shrugged.
“I don’t see a ring,” he pointed out, and Ian grit his teeth. They had taken them off before starting, for safety, and he never regretting following the rules more a day in his life.
“Besides, who are you to speak for him?” Johnny asked.
“Oh, this is Ian,” Mickey introduced quickly. He was smiling, the asshole, like some guy wasn’t trying to steal him from right under Ian’s own nose. “He’s my—”
“His husband,” Ian stated firmly, and watched Johnny’s eyes go wide. “His ex-army, ex-con husband.”
“Hey man, I’m sorry,” Johnny apologized, hands up. “I didn’t know.”
Ian nodded, ready to let it go despite his urge to send the man packing, when Johnny insisted on talking again.
“You can’t blame me though, right?” he said with a little, nervous laugh. “I mean, he looks so damn—”
He didn’t finish his sentence, too busy keeling over with his hands on his groin after Ian shot a paintball right at his balls at point-blank range.
—
Two minutes later, Ian and Mickey were racing to the car as employees chased behind them, yelling. Apparently it was frowned upon to shoot someone on your own team, outside the course itself, during a break. It didn’t help that Mickey had done the same right after, just for fun.
“Hurry up, you jealous fuck,” Mickey shouted at Ian as he fumbled with the door handle. “We gotta get outa here before they realize I gave them fake names!”
Ian fell into the car, giddy with adrenaline and laughter.
“The fuck did you do that for?” he giggled as Mickey threw the car into reverse and peeled out of the lot.
“Cause I knew you would do something stupid!” Mickey said, shoving at Ian’s shoulder with one hand when Ian just laughed harder.
Ian gather himself as they drove, and felt his heart-rate start to normalize after a few minutes on the road. He held Mickey’s hand over the gearshift, finger rubbing over the spot where his ring should be—where it would be again as soon as they had a minute to breathe. Then, just as he was almost calm—
“Shit, Ian,” Mickey gasped. “We didn’t return the fucking guns.”
That set them off again, and they had to pull over halfway home until they could stop laughing and hide the paintball guns under the back seat.
Franny and Fred would love them come Christmas.

Hey idk if ur prompts are open, but if they were, would you maybe want to do a Wilbur vs Charlie in who can wreck Tommy better like thing? 👀👀👀
"Friendly" Uno summary: tommy gets a bit too sassy in a game of uno with him, charlie, and wilbur. a/n: i was originally gonna write this in the dsmp but i literally just couldn't figure out how to do it without it being super ooc KSDFSKJ also just pretend charlie came to visit them in the UK LOL warnings: swearing, playful teasing/mocking (they're playing uno its bound to happen BAHAHA /lh) w/c: 1.6k IRL, Platonic
~
“C’mon, give me a green!” Wilbur growled, continuously picking up cards from the middle pile. He and his two friends, Tommy and Charlie, were playing a friendly game of Uno together on the floor of the living room. Well, “friendly.”
“HAH! Aww, poor Wilbyyy, so bad at Unooo…” Tommy cooed, his face painted with the biggest shit-eating grin. Wilbur scoffed, finally putting a green card down. “Tommy, every day you remind me of all my mistakes.” Wilbur jested, smirking at Tommy’s surprised face. “Yeah? Well-”
“Aha, draw four Toms!” Charlie interrupted, Tommy looking down at the middle pile to see a colorful “+4” card right in front of him. After a dramatic groan, the boy drew the cards. “You are horrible to me, Mr. Slimecicle.” Tommy pointed his finger in Charlie’s face, the dirty blonde only shrugged, chuckling at his antics.
Wilbur put down a red card, smiling at Charlie’s huff. “Really, the only color I don’t have?!” He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. “Don’t be all grumpy, it’s how the game works, yeah?” Wilbur gave a smug smirk, watching his friend reach for the pile to scout for a red card.
After more banter, the game started to move more smoothly… until they decided to start stacking “+2” and “+4” cards. The pile of them now added up to 14, but they still kept going. “Holy shit, this better not end on me!” Wilbur sighed, placing his final card he could stack. “Me neither.” Charlie agreed, placing his last card that could be stacked.
“This game is against me! I swear to god, this is rigged! You’re both cheating.” Tommy cried, huffing to himself while he started to pick up the 18 cards they all stacked up. “Tohohommy!” Wilbur broke into laughter, leaning his head back as high-pitched giggles left him. “We aren’t cheheating, you juhust suhuck.” Charlie snorted up a laugh, patting Tommy’s back as he whined again.
“You two are both big stupid bullies. You should be thankful I’m even playing a little card game with you.” Tommy huffed, making eye contact with Wilbur. “You’re so sassy today, n’awww- don’t tell me someone’s grumpy over just a ‘little’ card game!” Charlie teased, causing Wilbur to smirk at Tommy. “Yeah, are you up past your bedtime?”
“I hate you both so much. I will fight you both and win- at the same time.” The blonde claimed as he slapped a card down with enough force to accidentally push the card pile down. “Baby rage.” Wilbur scoffed, earning a dramatic gasp from Tommy. “I AM NOT A BABY!” He shouted, Wilbur and Charlie breaking into giggles again.
“That’s something a baby would say!”
“CHARLIE.”
Wilbur covered his face, laughter building up from his chest, Charlie following right in his footsteps. Tommy furrowed his eyebrows, grumbling. “You guys are assholes.” He spoke in a more playful tone, indicating that he wasn’t genuinely upset.
“Yeah, are we, Tommy?” Charlie put down his cards, looking at the boy. “Compared to how you’ve been treating us this evening, I don’t think we’re that bad.” Wilbur raised an eyebrow, also placing his cards down. “B- Bullshit! You guys are twats…?” Tommy cowered a bit at their growing smirks, putting his cards down as well.
“Twats, are we?”
“Wilbur, I don’t like his tone.”
Both men stood up, still with suspicious smiles on their faces, causing Tommy to stand up as well. “I d- don’t trust this.” The boy shuddered, backing up until he hit the couch, falling back onto it. “Don’t worry Charlie, I can take care of this.” Wilbur nodded, towering over Tommy.
“No, I think I can do it, I can definitely do it better.” Charlie stood next to him, an innocent smile plastered on his face. “Yeah? Well do you know all his tickle spots? No? That’s what I thought.”
Oh. Oh. So that is what this was about.
“I’m called the tickle monster around here for a reason, Charlie!” Wilbur kept on going, placing a sassy hand on his hip. “You clearly haven’t met me then, yet!” He quipped back, looking down at Tommy; whose face was bright red and a nervous but excited smile on his face.
“Let’s have Tommy answer then. Who’s better at wrecking you, Toms?” Wilbur smirked down at him, the blonde just covering his face. “D’awww, that’s not an answer! Hmm, how about this. Wilbur, we’ll team up and Tommy will answer that question when we’re finished.”
“Deal.”
“Wh- what? Guys… guhUHUYS-!” Bubbly laughter already took over Tommy as Wilburs fingers kneaded his waist. “What’s up? Wha’tcha need?” Charlie chuckled, walking two fingers up his ribcage. What they weren’t expecting was the loud squeal that left Tommy.
“Looks like I already found a tickle spot, Wilbur!” Charlie exclaimed, gently pinching around his top ribs, causing the boy to let out yet another squeal. “Wow, do you want a medal or something?” Wilbur snarked back sarcastically, glaring at the dirty blonde before massaging his thumb into one of Tommy’s hip bones.
“Wiiihihill! NOHOhoho!” Tommy tried to twist left to right, but that damn feeling on his hip bone just wouldn’t secede. Charlie furrowed his eyebrows, seeing that Wilbur was back in the lead. He reached his other hand around and formed it like a claw, and then vibrated it into the other side of his ribcage as he kept up the prodding on the other side.
“CHAHAHARLIE! QUIHIHIT IT!” Tommy absolutely shrieked, unsure whether to attempt to push his hands away from his ribs, or to cover his face and obvious blush was creeping up on his cheeks. “Gotta admit I’m the better tickle monster first!” Charlie giggled, making little ‘tktktktk’ noises right in Tommy’s ear.
“N’awww, Tommy!~ You have just the sweetest giggles, and I know they’re because of me and not the slimy boy, is that right?” Wilbur teased, moving from his hips to the sides of his belly, scribbling his nails over the area. Hiccupy laughter began to emit from the boy, him kicking his legs into the couch behind Wilbur.
“He’s now all hiccupy! That’s so cute!” Charlie exclaimed, grabbing one of Tommy’s flailing arms. He sniggered to himself as Tommy’s laughter turned more high-pitched at the sudden vulnerability, a wide smile on his face nonetheless. “Uh oh, Tommy… someone’s in trouble now!” Charlie teased as he wiggled his fingers over his exposed underarm, not making contact now.
“DohoHOHON’T! WIHILBUR- *snort* HEHELP!” Tommy’s laughter grew an octave at his own snort, shaking his head as Charlie wouldn’t stop the stupid anticipation. “There’s no way I’m helping you, Toms. I mean- unless you say that I’m better at this.” Wilbur smirked, deciding to try a new spot as he turned around, fluttering his nails under Tommy’s knees.
The giggles it made Tommy produce were different. They were more flustered it seemed, almost like Wilbur just found a certain melt spot. “Tommy, you’ve gone all soft now! Let’s change that, shall we?” Charlie chuckled mischievously, his fingers crashing down and lightly scribbling into his underarms.
Feeling both his death spot and melt spot being tickled at the same time was definitely a different feeling. “NOOOHOHO- *hic* PLEHEHEASE!” His voice began to sound slightly strained, so Charlie retracted his hand in response. “Looks like I found your worst spot, eh?” He smiled, but it was more of a fond smile this time- compared to all his evil ones.
“Hmmm, Charlie. What if we worked together, just once?” Wilbur offered, and Charlie gladly nodded. “What do you need from me, boss?” He smiled playfully before Wilbur went in to whisper something into his ear. ‘What were they planning now? My demise?’ Tommy thought curling up on himself.
In one swift movement, Tommy found himself leaning onto Charlie being held in place with one of Charlie’s arms, and Wilbur looming over him with a grin that did not look friendly. It looked quite evil, in all honesty. “You ready, Toms?” Wilbur cooed, wiggling his fingers at the boy. The blonde whined, looking away from him. “N’aww, don’t want to watch the show, Tommy?” Charlie cooed in his ear. Just their words and actions alone made him want to squirm and laugh, and they haven’t even done the tickling yet.
A moment of silence fell onto them, Tommy still looking away, until a big raspberry was blown right beneath his belly button. The boy arched his back, a shriek ripping out from his throat as he weakly pushed at Wilbur’s head; but the stupid sensations just kept on going.
“YOHOHOU WIHI- *wheeze* WIHIHIN! ENOHOHOUGH!” Tommy managed to get out, his laughter nearly going silent. Wilbur sat up, rubbing Tommy’s tummy to help get rid of the tingles that still lurked around. “Who won? I didn’t catch it.” Charlie’s voice was gentle, but it was obvious there was some smugness there.
“Yeah, who won? You never stated a name, Toms!” The taller boy crossed his arms, smirking down at the boy. Tommy just let out a whine and covered his face, cuddling into Charlie as all the tickling wore him out. They both internally cooed at him, finding his snuggly antics so fond and wholesome, because for god's sake- it’s Tommy! You rarely find the boy getting all soft for anyone.
“Let’s just call it a tie, shall we Charlie?”
“Yeah, for now, that is.”

Fake dating BonRin? 😍❤️
This one is going to be a multiparter, because I've had an idea for a fake dating au for a while, and I can't seem to ever make a short story, lol. So here's the first part, which is mostly just set up ;)
Thanks for the ask! I hope that you enjoy the story <3
Caprizant
Part: one (you're here), two
— — — — —
“Ah,” Lewin lifted his head from the papers he was pretending to grade as they walked in the room. Which seemed strange, because Rin had heard Ryuuji gripe a lot about grading papers for Lewin, so he didn’t think Lewin actually graded anything. To hear Ryuuji tell it, Lewin just slapped a random grade on any paper Ryuuji didn’t go over. Ryuuji was the one that gave them their grades. He was more generous than most of Rin’s teachers, so he had no real complaints.
“Yes, sir?” Ryuuji asked politely at the same time Rin asked “What’s up?” He couldn’t manage polite around Lewin. The stink he put off always gave Rin an immediate headache, and the chapstick he’d rubbed under his nose could only block so much of it.
Lewin grinned in his toothy, kind of aggressive way. “How do you guys feel about doing a mission together?”
Rin’s gaze darted to Ryuuji, who thankfully also looked confused. This entire thing seemed a bit weird. They didn’t get asked about missions, they were assigned to them, and they’d done pretty much all of them together. Rin could only think of two or three times Ryuuji hadn’t been around, and most of those Rin wasn’t even supposed to be on. He’d just snuck after his twin.
Ryuuji answered before Rin could figure out how to answer the weird question. “Fine, sir? We’ve worked together before.”
Lewin barked out a quick and loud laugh. “Not like this.”
Rin gave Ryuuji another glance and was happy he looked just as concerned as he felt about that answer. Lewin’s excitement almost always ended in trouble for them.
“Not like what?”
Lewin motioned towards the desks in front of his own. “Sit down. This is gonna take a while.” Lewin waited until they were sitting before he continued. “Over the last month and a half, we’ve gotten fifty different complaints from students about a masked figure attacking them at night.”
“What?!” That was so many! That was at least one attack a day. How had they not heard about this?
“Yeah? Why ya sound so surprised? Crazy stuff happens on this campus all the time.”
“Excuse me, sir,” Ryuuji interrupted, looking irritated, “we might have a high level of demonic activity, but students aren’t typically accosted by masked figures.”
Yeah! This was a rich kid’s school. No one really knew about the Exorcist part. Wealthy people wouldn’t keep sending their kids here if they got hurt regularly.
Light shrugged like it didn’t really matter one way or the other to him. “The masked figure is tall, possibly taller than a human according to some of our witnesses, and thin. Despite its gangly appearance, it’s apparently capable of throwing a person through the air.”
How had they not heard about this? Who had gotten flung? That was terrifying.
“Do you know what kind of demon it is?” Ryuuji asked. He'd already filled half a page with notes, and Rin hadn't even noticed him pull out the notebook.
Light held up his hand to stop him. “I’m getting to that. Just hold on. Always gotta be so curious.” There was no bite in his tone. If anything, he looked fond. “The students being attacked were all in pairs. Groups of two only. Never any bigger than that. And specifically same sex pairs.”
Rin couldn’t help but notice that Ryuuji’s cheeks went a little pink. Had he missed something?
“They were all by themselves, and it was always late. In each case, one of them was laughing.”
This seemed like a weirdly specific list for a demon, but then again, most of the demons he’d met were pretty dang specific about what they liked.
“Sir,” Ryuuji interjected quickly, and yeah, there was no mistaking the blush on his cheeks, “what is it you’re wanting us to do?”
Light smiled, and it was far more frightening than it had any right to be. “Isn’t it obvious? You two are gonna date and get the Hannya’s attention.”
“Hannye?” Rin asked as Ryuuji spluttered out: “date?!”
“Yeah, date. Fake date. You know, undercover? And Hannya. A demon that feeds off of jealousy and creates it in others. You two are going to be a fake couple, attract the demon’s attention, and take it down. We’re not sure if it’s on its own, or if it’s being controlled by someone, so you can’t just randomly walk around the campus and hope it finds you.” He eyed them both. “The fake couple thing isn’t negotiable, so if you two say no, I’m asking Kamiki and Moriyama.”
Hell no! He wasn’t letting his friends be in danger. Not while he could stop it.
“I’m game,” he declared hotly.
“Uh, of course we’ll do it. Just…” Ryuuji swallowed and stared at the chalk board. “Everyone? Even our friends?”
Rin could feel his tail physically droop as a wave of shame hit him. He didn’t mind everyone thinking he was dating Ryuuji — why would he mind when Ryuuji was such a catch? — but that didn’t mean Ryuuji didn’t have a reputation as a hard-working and goal-oriented student who didn’t date. He was already hounded by other people’s unwanted affections everyday. Would it get worse if they thought he was actually open to dating people?
And Ryuuji might not be bi like him. Ryuuji might not even swing any way. Rin couldn’t really tell. He’d been shot down ages ago, and honestly, he’d just been giddy to have even one friendship at that time, so he just hadn’t pursued anything more because Ryuuji's friendship wasn't a thing he was game to risk.
Ryuuji also hated lying, and it wasn’t like Rin was all that much of a catch. He had cooking, and really, that was it. His unavoidable link to Satan more than canceled out any positives he might have with his cooking.
If everyone thought they were dating, that would kind of have to include their friends. Rin was fine with that, but that didn’t mean Ryuuji would be. Explaining afterwards would be messy too, unless they just pretended to break up?
“Yep,” Light drawled. “Unless you’re sure it’s not something the Illuminati are doing that Shima’s helping with.” Ryuuji immediately scowled and Light nodded like that finished the conversation for him. “Good. Then I’ll let you two go. I’ll text you a map of the campus with the most hit spots. You two go on a date or something in the mean time.” He motioned for the door, and the dismissal was obvious. Rin got up and left the room, far more confused than when he’d arrived.
Apparently he had a boyfriend now.

Fruits Basket Manga Review , ch 111
sigh~~~ I feel that my recent posts are a bit negative towards the anime, but thats cuz the chapters I’ve read so far are either unbelievably important character depth content cut for no valid reason or content in the anime but packed with million other things that it lost its purpose or importance. Basically tohu’s ep 6 which consists of 4 chapters & now ep 5 which is a momiji ep & yup, packed with 4 chapters as well... so, I apologize for any negativity, my intention is just analyzing artistic & story-telling aspects, I love se03, but yeah it screwed up lots of important characters due to its not so thorough plot decisions & harmful character insight choices.
today.. we explore Momiji... but only before his curse breaks.
Furuba anime struggling to know how to design an episode based on various plot-heavy chapters?
so, they decided 13 eps, & decided one ep for momiji cuz motoko’s graduation & the fanclub is the core of the furuba & have already cut tons of tohru, cuz who cares? she’s kind. be like her. end of lesson. No. really, jokes aside, how to do this?
How to combine several chapters in one ep? collect small snippets from chosen chapters/content like a bee does flowers? you gotta skip some content, you gotta highlight others. The ep is only 20 min after all & you got an op & Ed that you cant always skip.... so.. furuba team decide that momoji’s ep should be true to his zodiac animal, this is the rabbits last appearance in spirit. so, they went with quick hopping from one chapter to the other like a rabbit?
No really, ep 5 is really like a rabbit in its flow, you can’t savior a moment enough before jumping to the other: we learned momiji grew up!! loves toheu romantically, challenged kyo, really meant it, wanted a fair love game, got freed, lost tohru romantically & faced momiji! but that’s not all? we still have space!! quick add akito’s moodiness & love triangle with her dog & her submissive bed partner, add a happy comedy for no reason whatever & make shigue kiss tohru & wish shes 'was his lover instead!!!!!!!!! Mind you all this happened in the anime before shigure hurt tohru with his “the truth of the zodiacs talk & them accepting & feeling consolance that kyo is doomed”talk.
-Gets whats my biggest surprise after reading this chapter ?????????
Shigure is consistent!! He isnt a rabbit hopping here & there. The dog is loyal & is tired for good reason! Him being depressed & his weird talk with thoru makes so much sense given the manga’s order.
Kyo is consistent!! In the anime, momiji surprise him with confession he loves tohru & challenge him, then kyo la~la~la~joins them downstairs for curry. Not a single expression on his face, where is the expression? it will appear when the plot is forced to address it: by the end of the ep when momiji face hin again. Then we get kyo’s reaction.
I need someone to tell the anime that actions require a reaction. You can refrain from showing a certain reaction if you can’t address it now, but you can’t erase it, negate it, then make it appear when have to!!!! couldn’t they make kyo refuse to join them & eat together? the other characters wont be surprised they think he’s needlessly moody. The audience will know that kyo is troubled with momiji’s challenged & it will excite them!!! having kyo just go eat & watch the momiji/hiro/haru/yuki comedy skit is weird.
The manga’s author wanted kyo to join the dinner, like the anime did. but huge difference. the author actually cares for logic reaction & understands that the audience aren’t dumb little kids that will sit & wait for kyo’s turn to...react! nope! she did this: (a) & (b) below.
-Lost Small Bits/ Panels from the chapter.. But Sadly Big Huge Chunks for Characters buildup & Growth:
(a) addressed the fact the hiro noticed kyoru is in love & dressed that shigure was right!! the cat being in love is a weird concept to the zodiacs! hiro reacted naturally & the author used hiro to flesh yuki’s (the rat), momiji’s (the rabbit) & haru’s (the cow) decision to silently watch the kyo (the cat) makes his own decisions to live!!! They won’t interfere or tell akito or remind him of his state as the doomed caged cat. So sad this moment is cut from yuki. Why must yuki only interact with kyo to beat him (all seasons)? why must yuki only think of kyo to envy him (all seasons) ? Here, yuki’s growth towards kyo as a person & his relationship with tohru is 1000 times better than all tohru is my mom’s sh!t & I envy kyo’s Sh!t we saw in the anime over & over till we memorized it.
(b) kyo didnt just go la~la~eat with momiji after knowing he loves tohru. Nope, there’s small bits missing: called logical emotional reaction. He was surprised he’s caught pining over tohru! cuz yuki, the audience representative, has told us in the previous chapter that ppl in love dont notice anything around them. Kyo thinks him being cold hid his feelings. the dummy’s feelings are as bright as the sun in the Sahara, tohru too. a child read her! such small thing that wont take much space from the ep but was cut cuz kyo only needs to be responsive at the ep’s end. & this scene of kyo & tohru looking awkwardly at each other is minor in space but so important cuz kyo is determined to let go but his decision is challenged by not only momiji, but his natural attraction to tohru. Here he knows he’s caught & exposed... here he knows momiji is a better choice for tohru cuz he wont didn’t hurt her mom... here he knows that even yuki is better cuz never had to pretend to be cold to her... here he knows the world is better than him... & here he just cant help by smile & walks towards her... T_T ... another lesson in writing slow burns by Takaya-san.
-Why would the anime team pass on this?? drawing kyoru closer after the epic tear in Cinderella ep, cuz they want empty suspense~! The anime team thinks that if kyo & tohru stand next to each other, then it means all their issues are solved & the audience are so stupid as to forget tohru’s mom, kyo’s imprisonment, kyo not confessing his sins to tohru & tohru’s need to make a choice wether to fogive hom or not.. nope! you see, they think, ppl who read mangas are smart, so the author can give this epic symbolism & pp would still be not sure kyoru is end game & tohru will forgive him or kyo even fogive himself, but ppl who watch, oh no, gotta cut all the plot worthy content, produce a graduation song for a minor character, cut all kyo/tohru interaction cuz it only means romance & not at all character depth & oh if we show yuki actually formulating deep thoughts that aren’t centered around him, the audience might forget his se02 struggles! or that might ruin yuki’s upcoming growth moment in the finale where he .. you guessed it hits kyo.. as he always do & sulk & think abt himself cuz yuki can only do monologues when he’s directly involved.... man~it is so sad how the anime is dumped down.. Who is the target audience again? not kids as young as hiro cuz even hiro is smart!
-just look:
Momiji talks abt kyo shouldn't give up loving tohru & the authr shows this this ghost!!! his mom! The author reminds us that kyo isnt da~~~~ forgetting anything. He’s a deeply troubled soul & hos mom wants him locked cuz she too was locked in a cage & thinks that’s safer...why oh why you dump ur own story! sh!t~
Side Notes:
I like the closeups on Kisa’s face as she interacted with kyo. It’s very rare for kisa to have a world beside the endearing parental/big protective bro/big doting sister love she has with tohru & haru & off course the romantic love with hiro which was perhaps since their birth or sth. lol. Kisa & kyo arent much on the brotherly side as they rarely interact, but its one of those refreshing interactions she has that helps cast a new light on her as tiny as it is, but its sth out of the norm around her. She sees him around tohru & gets to perceive his true unprovoked character. “He is nice guy”.
I really wanted to punch kureno this chapter.. like Shigure is a jerk shitty dog for sleeping with akito’s mom but kureno... dude.. you submissively sleep with the guy’s eternal love interest & still walks in on him talking to her!!! lol. you’re mentally, emotionally & physically weaker than him & yet, she puts you on her bed, not him & you, tho not wanting her at all, dont walk away. No wonder shigure is defeated & wishing for someone like tohru, lol! Even if shigure met an older tohru-like person, it wont work. shigure deserve someone like him mean, schemer & loves playing power games. Tohru is someone who values honesty & commutation, not saying she’s an angel on earth, but tohru knows who suits her.. except fate is saying: NO. .... currently. lol.
I know kureno’s weakness is part of his character & I love that such characters exits. There are ppl ike that in real life. It’s just this chapter, I felt shigure’s frustration. XD
Yuki in this ep is the best yuki. no exaggeration here, I love when yuki is calmly thoughtful of others & here its kyo of all ppl !!!! cutting this scene is sad.. without it, kyo & yuki remain a cat & rat in the anime. Only ever thinking abt each other thro envious binoculars or hateful words or yuki giving kyo comedic hitting or life’s problem-solving hitting. Why can’t anime yuki be interactive outside his self-centered issues is beyond me.
Momiji & kyo’s interactions are always the best! whether comedy or drama.
I hated the curry cooking scene in the anime... so weirdly out of the ep’s flow.. very forced comedy... in the manga it had a purpose! not just quick add comedy cuz next shot momiji curse breaks & drama & we’ll close the ep with tears & sadness & glimpses of hope...
I love haru’s answer to hiro... so him.. “a guy can’t fall in love?”so chill.. so..simple.
#Fruits Basket#Anime Only#manga spoilers#fruits basket manga#manga review#sad paper#mad paper#I'm having shitty personal day dont mind me#sorry for extra anger#if it sounds like I;m screaming or shouting#I'm not i swear#I really love the anime & se03 is the best content among the other seasons#its just have big giant issues in plot & characters....

You couldn’t pretend that you weren’t surprised, and a little off-put by the scene in front of you. You looked around, wondering why you felt like you were the only one who saw what you were seeing. Everyone else was walking by, minding their own business, but you couldn’t pretend that you didn’t notice.
Crouching down, you pressed your fingers gently against the side of his neck, and you were rewarded with a fairly steady pulse. Relief flooded through you, glad you weren’t going to have to report a dead body. However, you weren’t quite sure how to handle the scene in front of you.
Gently nudging him, you tried to wake him up. He let out a soft groan but didn’t fully wake up. With a heavy sigh, you shook him a little harder but weren’t able to wake him. Pressing your lips together into a thin line, you patted the side of his face. You saw his brows furrow and twitch and you knew that he was almost awake.
“Hey,” you shook him and patted his cheek again, “you good?”
With a groan and what seemed like more effort than it should’ve taken, he slowly started to open his eyes. Part of you wanted to laugh because he seemed like he was probably going to be alright, but more than anything you were just confused.
“You alright? Looks like you’ve had…a time.”
He propped himself up on his elbows and looked down at the state of himself. The fact that he didn’t seem shocked and appalled spoke volumes. With a quiet grunt, he forced himself to his feet.
“Do I have to be worried about you?” you couldn’t help but to look him up and down again. With a chuckle and a shake of his head he reassured you that he was fine, which did little to actually make you feel better, “There somewhere I should be take you?”
He laughed, “No. Don’t worry. Thank you for, uh, waking me up. Way better than getting kicked by the cops,” he shook his head.
“Small miracles,” you had to laugh.
“Yea,” he glanced down at the sign on his chest and you could tell from the look in his eyes that he was weighing the pros and cons of ripping it off right then and there, “I should go. I’m uh,” he gestured to the cardboard, “apparently late for my eight o’clock feeding.”
You smiled and shook your head, “Well that’s unfortunate.”
With a deep breath he pulled the sign from his chest and you both cringed. He cursed under his breath from the pain of it before folding it and tucking it underneath his arm. He gave you a lopsided grin and a small wave before turning and walking in the other direction away from you. You stood there, feeling like you should be offering him a shirt, or something to at least tie around his waist, but he seemed pretty unbothered by it all, so you let him go. You shook your head to yourself as you continued on your way, unable to believe what a weird day you’d already had.
A few days went by and you hadn’t forgotten about your run-in on the street that morning. It was a tough scene to forget. You didn’t want to believe that that was going to be the first and last time you ever saw him. If nothing else, you just wanted some closure on the situation, and you also wanted to know how the hell he ended up like that.
Your mind had wandered back to that situation as you stood outside your car waiting for the tow truck. You knew that your car was on its last leg to begin with, and that you should’ve set about looking for a new one some time ago, but you just kept putting it off. The thought of shopping for one, and then paying for one was overwhelming. You were paying for it in an entirely different way now, though. You knew that fixing whatever was wrong with your car was probably going to cost more than it was worth. So, to distract yourself from thinking about that, you thought about literally anything else as you sat half propped up onto your hood.
You’d gone to Teller-Morrow one other time, maybe twice, since you’d moved just outside of Charming. You didn’t remember anything about it, though—you were in and out quick for an oil change or something equally innocuous. There weren’t a whole lot of options for mechanics to begin with, let alone ones that would also tow. Plus you figured since they were local, it wouldn’t take them too long to get to you.
About twenty minutes later the tow-truck pulled up, and you were a mix of relieved and apprehensive. Two men stepped out, and your first thought was that they couldn’t have carried themselves more differently from each other if they tried. The taller one approached you, adjusting his beanie slightly as he did, while the other scampered around to start hooking the truck up to your car.
“So,” he walked up to you, a small smile on his face for a moment as he looked at you, “what seems to be the problem?”
You chuckled and shook your head as you clocked the name stitched into his work shirt, “Well, it stopped running. That’s about all I know, Opie,” you smiled at him.
He laughed, nodding his head slightly, “Sounds like a pretty serious issue, then.”
“I’d say so.”
He glanced back to make sure that your car had been hooked up alright, “You need to be dropped off somewhere, or you got a ride?”
You sighed, resting your hand on the back of your neck as you thought, “Would I be able to ride back to the shop with you guys?”
He nodded, “Sure thing. Long as you don’t mind Kip staring at you the whole time,” he gestured over to the man who was waiting by the door of the tow truck.
You laughed, “Staring I can handle.”
When they pulled into the lot at the mechanics, Opie got out and instructed Kip to take care of the rest. He looked over to you and gestured to the office, “Gemma will get you all set up. We’ll get it right on the lift and try to figure out what’s going on.”
You nodded, “Thank you, appreciate it.”
You knocked lightly on the door to the office and she called for you to come in. She got you all squared away with your paperwork to get everything started. You let her know that if it ended up being more than a certain amount to just not bother and scrap it, or to give it back and you would take care of that part yourself. You weren’t in a position to be paying more than the car was worth. There was sympathy present in her eyes as she listened to you, nodding along. You hated the feeling of pity but you couldn’t deny that you’d landed yourself into a bit of a hole.
She was walking you back out of the office, “We’ll give you a call when we’ve got some numbers for you, sweetheart.”
“Sounds good. Thank you guys so much.”
“Need us to call you a cab?”
You shook your head, “No, no I’ll be alright. Thank you though.”
You were walking across the lot, pulling out your phone as you did to try and figure out who you were going to call to come and pick you up. There was a sudden influx of noise and voices. And despite the fact that you heard it, you still didn’t look up.
The only thing that snapped you out of your thoughts was the feeling of someone’s shoulder bumping into yours. You looked up and both of you were in the middle of apologizing when your eyes met his. Neither of you could hide the shock on your faces as you took each other in.
He looked a lot different when he wasn’t coming out of a mild coma. And also when he was fully dressed with an MC kutte on. You’d missed out on the fact that he was handsome in the midst of worrying about his well-being the last time you saw him.
“Oh shit,” he laughed, “hey.”
“Uh, hey,” you couldn’t help but to stare at him, “I didn’t…expect to see you here. Or again in general, for that matter.”
Another man in a kutte appeared, draping his arm around the shoulder of the man that you were talking to, “Juicy,” he said, “who’s your friend?”
He wore his nerves on his face, “Um. She’s not, uh, she’s”
You cut him off to save him the trouble, holding out your hand, “I’m Y/N.”
“Y/N,” he let your name roll off his tongue, “nice to meet you. I’m Jax,” he paused, looking back and forth between you and the man next to him, trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together, “Sorry to interrupt,” you could see that he was biting back a laugh.
“No, you’re…you’re good,” you reassured him, “Nothing to interrupt. Just, um, a little surprised by,” you gestured to the two of them and to the clubhouse behind them, “all of this.”
“Well then I gotta ask,” Jax continued to stare at Juice who seemed to be getting more and more shy by the second, “how do you know Charming’s favorite Puerto Rican Intelligence Officer?”
You couldn’t stop the laugh that slipped past your lips, “Intelligence Officer?”
Jax nodded, clapping Juice on the back as though he thought he was hyping him up, “For the club, yea. Can find out anything about anyone. Also our resident tech guy.”
You chuckled, unable to lie and say that you weren’t a little impressed, “Impressive. Guess we didn’t have time to get into all that last time we met.”
“Oh?” Jax looked back and forth between the two of you, embarrassment creeping onto Juice’s features.
“Yea, he was running a behind schedule. Had places to be.”
Jax looked over at him, “Where the hell did you have to be that could’ve been more important, bro?”
Juice ran his hands down his face, knowing that he was going to have to cop to it sooner or later, “When we met I was, um…she actually…” he shook his head, “She’s the one who woke me up the other day. Made sure I was alright.”
The entire incident had clearly already faded from Jax’s memory because he looked as lost as he had been before Juice said anything. You smiled, “I made sure he eventually made it to his eight o’clock feeding.”
Recognition flashed across Jax’s face and he laughed, “Jesus. Sorry you had to be a part of that.”
“Sure, her you’ll apologize to,” Juice rolled his eyes.
“She didn’t deserve it,” Jax chuckled and shook his head, “Well it was nice meeting you, Y/N. I’ll leave Juice to try and clean up whatever mess he might’ve made.”
He walked away from the both of you and you could head him laughing to himself as he approached the rest of the guys. You and Juice stood there facing each other, neither one of you really knowing what to say.
You broke the silence, “Won’t lie to you, Juice,” it felt nice to finally be able to address him as something, “over the past few days when I’ve been trying to think about what your life was like for it to land you in that situation, this wasn’t what I had in mind.”
“You’ve been thinkin’ about me?” he smirked.
You laughed, rolling your eyes, “You made quite the impression,” you looked him in the eyes, “I’m glad you’re alright though.”
He chuckled, “Not the worst thing they’ve ever done to me.”
You smiled and shook your head, “Well that’s a little concerning.”
“Sorry you got, uh, subjected to that,” he shook his head, “wrong place, wrong time.”
You waited for him to meet your gaze and you flashed him a smile, “I wouldn’t quite say that.”
There was a light in his eyes that was so enticing, “Right. Well. I’m glad I got a chance to make a better first impression. Sort of. Maybe,” he laughed. There were a few beats of silence before he spoke up again, “What brings you here anyway?”
You nodded towards the garage, “Car broke down.”
“Shit.”
Your laugh was a hollow, “Yea. Fucking sucks. Hoping they can fix it without bleeding me dry.”
Juice thought hard about it for a few moments, “I’ll take a look at it. I’ll see what I can do, see if I can get you a deal or something.”
“Yea?” you couldn’t hide your relief.
He nodded, “Yea. Least I could do.”
“You’d really be saving my ass.”
He laughed, “Guess that would make us even.”
You chuckled and nodded, “Guess so.”
He paused for a moment, eyes glued to the pavement, “If you want, you could, uh, you could give me your number,” he looked up at you, “and I’ll give you a call when I get it all sorted.”
You smiled, “Alright. Sounds good,” you held out your hand for his phone and quickly added your number to his contacts, “Hope to hear from you soon, Juice.”
“Juan,” he said quietly as he took the phone back from you.
“Hm?”
He looked at you, “Juan. My name is Juan.”
You smiled, “Well, then, Juan, I’ll talk to you soon,” you paused and bit back a laugh, “Try to keep yourself out of sticky situations, alright?”
“Well now at least I have you to call just in case,” he smirked.
“Won’t be able to come and get you until you fix my car,” you chuckled, “So at least be careful for a few days.”
“I think I can do that.”
“Good,” you stepped in and gave him a quick hug, “Thank you, Juan, seriously.”
“It’s not a problem. I’ll, I’ll talk to you soon.”
“Looking forward to it,” you flashed him a smile before turning and continuing your way out of the parking lot.
You chanced a look back over your shoulder and saw that he was still standing there staring at you with a smile and a dreamy look on his face. You laughed and shook your head as you turned back around. There was something to be said about memorable first impressions, and something told you that you had landed yourself in an adventure when you met him. You were excited to find out what was in store.
