Cosi has been adjusting smoothly. She gets scared of loud noises and doesn't like the TV that much, but she's slowly coming out of her shell; it's apparent too from how much more she's been talking. Good thing the condos have thick walls! Dulce and Caruso try to cook for her as much as she can, but they're still a little busy settling into their new home themselves. Dulce's felt guilty because of that! She'll have to feed her new baby some kibble made of who-knows-what??? Radioactive material? Dulce’s dyslexia doesn't help when it comes to reading the ingredient lists that go on for miles... she doesn't trust any of it. Begrudgingly, she headed to the store. That's when she found the Nesbitt pet food products, which are all organic and amazing in every way! What luck. They are keeping these in their home forever. Cosi loves the Buttercups treats :) She would happily be a model for advertisements.

Yes, Caruso wanted to get married so he could have his own little happy family, but he was also in it for the Alegría name and money... The "hm" in this post had many layers to it.

Dulce: Hm?

Dulce: [Yawns] It’s 1PM already?

Dulce: Damn, I’m kind of scared to open the door... He must hate me.

Dulce: Hey, I’m sor-

Caruso: Rise and shine!!

Dulce: I beg your pardon???

Caruso: Alegría, you’re meant to look more sad. Like this.

Dulce: Are you insane? I’m busy here trying to reflect on my actions and become a better person. We’re not doing a breakup video.

Caruso: Why not? I’m sure the fans would love it. Imagine the amount of views we’d get.

Dulce: You can tell them I broke things off, I don’t care, but we are not doing this!

Dulce: Just pack your stuff and go. I’ll be over here watching TV.

Caruso: Suit yourself.

Dulce: Look, I’m truly sorry for everything, including for losing my cool earlier. You must be hurting a lot.

Caruso: It’s fine... I kind of suspected you weren’t 100% in anyway, that’s why I was always trying to fight for your love. I get it, though. I’ll be okay.

Dulce: Really? O-okay. Well, do you need help carrying all of these boxes to- wait, where are you putting everything?

Caruso: I bought a car.

Dulce: Just like that???

Caruso: Yeah! It’s red. Anyway, no thanks. I got it all handed. You go back inside and rest your pretty little head.

Dulce: Okay........ goodbye then.

Caruso: Tsk, tsk. Big mistake, Alegría. It was either marriage or this. You made the choice.

Since Caruso works so late into the night, Dulce and Dani have movie nights every so often. This time, Cosi had plans to shake things up during a potty break.

Dulce: OMG what do you think will happen next???

Daniela: I don't know. I thought I knew where the plot was going but now I'm not so sure.

Cosita: WOOF!

Dulce: Cosi nooooo!!

Cosita: Yip yip yip yip *talks back to her mom

Dulce: No, young lady. That's not how I raised you.

Dulce: Movie night is on hold... I have to bathe her.

Daniela: I figured.

Dulce: Ew ew ew ew ew ew.

Dulce: Aw, I can't stay mad at you.

While Dulce was on the hunt for the notebook, Antonio got acquainted with Cosi! He's more of a cat person, but he loves all kinds of animals. He would help Dulce, but that would be an invasion of privacy, no? You know what's definitely okay, though? Taking out the trash from the trash bin that is not even halfway full yet.

Even with her prescribed sleep medicine (because of her sleeping disorder), Dulce hasn't been able to sleep all night. Caruso is coming by later to get his stuff, so she should rest now before he comes.

Note: I'm sure they told him their opinions in a nicer way, but this is what the game gave me:

They can be civil with him but not over the moon about him being a possible son-in-law. Noemí wants everyone to be a happy family and Erick is still battling with these thoughts.

Dulce: You make me feel so much better, Cosi.

Dulce: [Sighs] I should call my mom and tell her what happened... she won’t be proud, but I don’t know what to do.

Dulce: Hi, Mami. Are you busy?

Noemí: I just left the bakery for the employees to close. Are you okay? You sound upset.

Dulce: I messed up SO badly. Caruso proposed and I broke off the entire relationship. In the heat of the moment, I told him I didn’t love him—because I don’t! I think I broke his spirit for the rest of his days.

Noemí: He proposed to you already? I thought he would talk to you about it first...

Dulce: Wait, did you know about this???

Noemí: Yes, he asked for my blessing. I told him that I wasn’t exactly thrilled, but that I wouldn’t stop him either.

Noemí: He asked your dad too. He told Caruso that it’s not up to us because the both of you decided to pursue the relationship on your own.

Dulce: ...That’s true. I feel very guilty. Do I pay for the motel he’s staying at??? I basically brought him to an entirely different continent and then abandoned him like a stray animal.

Noemí: I don’t think he needs it, but sure if helps soothe your conscience. All you can do is own up to your mistake, mija.

Dulce: Okay. I think I’m finally getting sleepy, so I’ll try to rest now.

Noemi: Wait, before you go—I know you feel terrible, but don’t forget that your dad and I will always love you. We’re here for you.

Dulce: Thank you, Mami. I love you guys too.

Welcome to the family, Cosi! ♡ Note: Her name is pronounced like "cozy" but with an "s" instead of a "z" :) Dulce's new home was a bit too quiet for her liking, so she decided to adopt a dog from the local shelter. Why not? She's been considering it for a bit now anyway. The condominium building has a lot of great outdoor space for pets and kids to play in. Also, Dulce is very active and can take Cosi out on regular walks or jogs.

Caruso: [Yawns] It’s so early, Alegría.

Dulce: Gotta catch up!!

Dulce: OMG! How do I choose just one dog???

Caruso: Never mind, I’m fully awake. Let’s take all of them.

Dulce: Excuse me, why is that one still locked in the cage?

Animal Shelter Volunteer: Ohh, her??? Yeah, she’s a feisty one. She growls at all the people and dogs. We can’t get her to stop.

Dulce: Can I see her?

Animal Shelter Volunteer: Umm, sure... But I warned you, so don’t sue us or anything. She’s got wickedly sharp teeth.

Dulce: Hi, there! I like you. How does a life filled with kisses on the head, regular spa treatments, delicious homemade food, and endless love sound to you?

Dulce: [Chuckles] Okay, okay. No head kisses if you’re not ready for that.

Dulce: You’re just scared, huh? Everyone here is a lot bigger than you and you want to look tough. I get that.

Other Volunteer: Oh, be careful with that one.

Dulce: It’s fine.

Dulce: [Gently speaks] Can I pet you?

[The dog cautiously walks up to Dulce and puts her head on Dulce’s hand.]

Caruso: Aw, she’s so cute. Is she the one?

Dulce: I think so!

Caruso: Let’s take her home, then.

Dulce: You heard that??? Let’s go now, come on.

Dulce: She’s letting me pick her up!!!

Dulce: You’re such a cosita linda- [Gasps] that’s it! That’s your name. Cosita. Or Cosi. Vamos.
