I’d say the average height for bots are somewhere between Leoblast (the second guy to the last) and Valkyrie. She’s like in the middle though.

If I had to guess I’d put Sunstreaker around this tall compared to her. Once again. Using the same logic that says Soundwave can turn into a cassette player and Megatron into a gun, she can be big.

I also just really love myself some big bulky characters that can just throw people around.

I swear she’s freakishly big for a reason. It’s important for the story. Trust.

I hope this kinda helps. I also haven’t completely locked down the sizes. This is just kinda like… a general idea? Basically, it could change but it probably wouldn’t be too dramatic or anything.

In my Zeus bag today so I'm just gonna put it out there that exactly none of the great Ancient Greek warrior-heroes stayed loyal and faithful and completely monogamous and yet none of them have their greatness questioned nor do we question why they had the cultural prominence that they did and still do.

Jason, the brilliant leader of the Argo, got cold feet when it came to Medea - already put off by some of her magic and then exiled from his birthland because of her political ploys, he took Creusa to bed and fully intended on marrying her despite not properly dissolving things with Medea.

Theseus was a fierce warrior and an incredibly talented king but he had a horrible temper and was almost fatally weak to women. This is the man who got imprisoned in the Underworld for trying to get a friend laid, the man who started the whole Attic War because he couldn't keep his legs closed.

And we cannot at all forget Heracles for whom a not inconsiderable amount of his joy in life was loving people then losing the people around him that he loved. Wives, children, serving boys, mentors, Heracles had a list of lovers - male and female - long enough to rival some gods and even after completing his labours and coming down to the end of his life, he did not have one wife but three.

And y'know what, just because he's a cultural darling, I'll put Achilles up here too because that man was a Theseus type where he was fantastic at the thing he was born to do (that is, fight whereas Theseus' was to rule) but that was not enough to eclipse his horrid temper and his weakness to young pretty things. This is the man that killed two of Apollo's sons because they wouldn't let him hit - Tenes because he refused to let Achilles have his sister and Troilus who refused Achilles so vehemently that he ran into Apollo's temple to avoid him and still couldn't escape.

All four of these men are still celebrated as great heroes and men. All four of these men are given the dignity of nuance, of having their flaws treated as just that, flaws which enrich their character and can be used to discuss the wider cultural point of what truly makes a hero heroic. All four of these men still have their legacies respected.

Why can that same mindset not be applied to Zeus? Zeus, who was a warrior-king raised in seclusion apart from his family. Zeus who must have learned to embrace the violence of thunder for every time he cried as a babe, the Corybantes would bang their shields to hide the sound. Zeus learned to be great because being good would not see the universe's affairs in its order.

The wonderful thing about sympathy is that we never run out of it. There's no rule stopping us from being sympathetic to multiple plights at once, there's no law that necessitate things always exist on the good-evil binary. Yes, Zeus sentenced Prometheus to sufferation in Tartarus for what (to us) seems like a cruel reason. Prometheus only wanted to help humans! But when you think about Prometheus' actions from a king's perspective, the narrative is completely different: Prometheus stole divine knowledge and gifted it to humans after Zeus explicitly told him not to. And this was after Prometheus cheated all the gods out of a huge portion of wealth by having humans keep the best part of a sacrifice's meat while the gods must delight themselves with bones, fat and skin. Yes, Zeus gave Persephone away to Hades without consulting Demeter but what king consults a woman who is not his wife about the arrangement of his daughter's marriage to another king? Yes, Zeus breaks the marriage vows he set with Hera despite his love of her but what is the Master of Fate if not its staunchest slave?

The nuance is there. Even in his most bizarre actions, the nuance and logic and reason is there. The Ancient Greeks weren't a daft people, they worshipped Zeus as their primary god for a reason and they did not associate him with half the vices modern audiences take issue with. Zeus was a father, a visitor, a protector, a fair judge of character, a guide for the lost, the arbiter of revenge for those that had been wronged, a pillar of strength for those who needed it and a shield to protect those who made their home among the biting snakes. His children were reflections of him, extensions of his will who acted both as his mercy and as his retribution, his brothers and sisters deferred to him because he was wise as well as powerful. Zeus didn't become king by accident and it is a damn shame he does not get more respect.

I'm only halfway through the second phase of Predathos (which, to be clear is an incredible vibe for a bossfight, love a good head & hands/multitarget-same-entity boss) but I cannot shake the feeling of disappointment and just dissatisfaction I have had with this campaign that definitely started with Dusk/Yu, got followed up handily with the first Delilah/Sun Tree fight and then has been unfortunately reinforced with every discussion surrounding the Prime Deities since Hearthdell. This campaign is fascinating to pick apart, I have been really enjoying pulling apart why it isn't working compared to C1 or C2. But as much as I'm having fun dissecting where the worldbuilding has led to the current weaknesses in the gods' argument or reading other people's incisive commentary on the lack of personalities on the Ruby Vanguard's end, the "girlfailure" nonsense, etc etc, man do I wish this campaign was better than it is.

There are so many avenues of improvement -

Matt telling everyone to prep and write characters for this campaign instead of a C2-esque character-focused campaign.

Matt working religious organisations into the world properly.

The cast engaging with Marquet as a genuine location rather than set-dressing.

Otohan, Ozo and the rest of the Vanguard having more than "*insert snappy line here*" for their personalities.

No Delilah.

Bell's Hells having an iota of curiosity for anything outside of their own selves, including but not limited to: the gods, religious worship, the Elemental Titans and why they were sundered, how the people of Exandria feel about the gods, Vasselheim and its role in suppressing information about Predathos, Ludinus Da'Leth's plan and how it would still break the world if they did it in his place

I don't know why all of this fell into place in the way that it did, but it did. We can endlessly speculate why - the cast resting on their laurels after C2, not having enough time between the animated shows and Daggerheart and Candela Obscura and, and, and - but at the end of the day I really do hope that whatever form the final campaign wrap-up takes, they burn the damn questions asking the cast "what if the world was made of pudding and this character and this character kissed?" and instead pick questions that get them to introspect for a potential Campaign 4. Otherwise I don't know what will happen, but it sure as hell won't be Mighty Nein part 2: Issylra Boogaloo.

PRAGMATIC: Arachne tends to take a more logical approach to problems and situations. Calculating to sometimes the point of apathy, she makes sure to take her emotions of the picture when approaching something from all angles. However, that doesn’t mean she won’t be convinced by an emotionally-driven argument

SHY: When it comes to romance, she’s almost as bad at it as cooking. She gets to caught up with her thoughts to actually do something, and it doesn’t help with how bad her last relationship went in high school. Her shyness can lead to more embarrassing situations however, which she cringes at when the day is done.

OPTIMIST: Arachne always strives to view the best in people, situations, and the world. However, sometimes her optimism can come a bit left-field, and can hide her own fears. Arachne’s hopefulness can sometimes lead her to despair, though.

C. LACROIX: She wants to put aside their rivalry, but at the same time she feeds into it a bit. They bring out her more competitive and argumentative side. She lowkey can’t handle them, but also admires their intellect and strive.

V. NÆSHOLM: Genuinly likes them! Was a bit apprehensive of them at the beginning but tried to be nice and brushed it off. Wants them to get out of their shell a little more, and is happy they’re her roommate.

W. OSTENDORF: …who? (jk jk she used to be really close friends with W. Once she meets them again, she’s sure to like them. But also the thought of “do I know them?” Keeps appearing in the back of her mind. They’re to…familiar to just be a stranger, right?)

D. DIACONU: Thinks they’re really fun and is honestly a bit confused how stuck-up lacroix can handle them. She vibes with them but also feels a bit like lacroix whenever she’s near them. A fan of The Vignettes as well—they make cool music!

M. WHITLOCK-SINGH: Tbh, she’s a bit intimated by them. But she also thinks they’re really nice and a tad bit overworked. Likes talking about philosophy with them, and thinks they’re cooking is the best thing she has ever eaten. (almost as good as her cooking though 😔)

Still is handling the death of her mom in less-then-healthy ways, and is a bit apprehensive of Elias dating again

90% of the criticism I'm seeing about Veilguard is just people angry that their head canons weren't real or that they can't grasp what's going on in the story telling. Y'all really put the other three games on a high shelf and forget they had major problems and weird parts too. (And ignore this is a franchise outside just video games and always has been.)

All these lore drops (including the Executors) were planned since before Inquisition. Were mentioned before Inquisition. Gaider had almost all of this planned when he was writing Origins. This time you're playing a specific character, like we did as Hawke in DA2. It's a good game and is carrying on the story Gaider started. Y'all just don't WANT to like it cause it's not what your fanon says it should be.
