im not really interested in the idea of kyouko and haru becoming combatants, even as healers, it feels like agreeing with the mafia's notions that someone's worth is based on how much blood they're able to spill

but i also can't see them staying forever protected behind the boys, because it's just impossible for them to be guarded 24/7, it's also impossible for their guards to not slip up

so imagine this, bianchi knocking on chrome's door and asks "you grew up a civilian, tell me which part of this is appropriate for girls like them." and she shows her a self-defense curriculum she prepared for kyouko and haru

bianchi already crossed out sexual favors from the list even before she gets here. it was only effective with her because her body could produce poison, good girls like those two wouldn't be able to handle it (she will never reflect about how those things fucked her up too, because that's just how the mafia rolls, and if she thinks about it even a bit she'll break) but she didn't expect even a little bit of flirting isn't going to be effective

"it's not because they're civilians" chrome says "it's because they're too sincere, they won't be able to pull it off"

no killing either, for obvious reasons. bianchi frowns as chrome keeps crossing out her plans and watering it down. "this isn't effective" she says

"it's not." chrome agrees "but i think it'll be worse getting them used to violence."

I don’t think he’d risk turning the girls themselves into unwitting spies against their family, mostly because a physical cut is a much bigger issue, politically and socially, than being a bitch

If the girl’s body guard just so happens to “accidentally” get scratched, though—

If confronted about his secondary mist guardian’s behavior, Tsuna calmly informs them that Mukuro just isn’t the type to suffer fools gladly.

“Mukuro hates the mafia, so I don’t know why you expect him to play by the rules just because you send a lady his way. He’s an equal opportunist like that”

And if pressed why on earth he keeps a man in his employ who hates them, the answer is simple “because he likes me.” a selfish tyrant

Tsuna, later, “what did you say to that poor girl…” he’s tired. He’s so tired. He’s glad you didn’t make a bigger mess but did you really have to make her sob like that?

“Noted her enhancements and said she slept with her bodyguard,” while pretending to inspect his nails.

Tsuna, absolutely scandalized, “Mukuro!!! …….. Did she?”

Mukuro snorts. “Of course not. He’s far too ugly.”

Okay also: Haru complaining to Chrome that Mukuro’s face is wasted on a guy like him and Chrome quietly agrees that yeah. Mukuro’s personality IS bad.

“But that’s also why I like Mukuro-sama so much. Even though he’s terrible to others, he’s kind to the people who matter.”

Haru goes :( “Chrome-chan, isn’t your taste kinda bad?”

-she was an outlet for me, like i had a lot of fun finding outfits for haru😭

-this girl is not afraid of experiments, she’s really open for new styles

-she has the most vivid and diverse style among all the characters

-her outfits may seem a little bit weird, but you’ll still want to examine them

-has A TON of different accessories starting from plush bags and ending with colorful berets

-there are no clothes and accessories for her that she wouldn’t be able to stylize

-like you've definitely seen a piece of clothes that you really like, but you realize that it will be difficult to stylize it into everyday life, but haru will be able to do it, she will stylize it like a pro

-she’s absolutely fond of monochrome outfits and cardigans with voluminous embroidery

-plain t-shirt and jeans is never an option for her

We need to talk about Haru’s gutsy and astonishing fighting potential.

This girl can punch.

I do remember seeing a lot of discourse before about how she should’ve been the Lightning Guardian—given that her dying will flame is lightning (based in the games)—and I wholeheartedly support that idea. If Haru had completely known about the situation the boys were in from the beginning, I think she would have been willing to fill in for Lambo because she’d want to give him a happy and safe childhood. She had the opportunity to be written more effectively and utilized, but it was wasted.

Haru definitely has at least a couple plushies in her room. She loves them all, they all have names, and there is one that she sleeps with. However, it's not always the same plushie she sleeps with - she switches them out so that no one plushie feels underloved. She knows it's a childish way to think of things, but a little bit of childness isn't such a bad thing.

Her room is kept pretty neat, though her desk area is always the neatest area, because she really is very serious about her studies. The messiest area is the corner of her room she uses for her arts and crafts projects.

She prefers pastel colours, particularly blues, and feminine touches in her decor.
