I love it when dudes comment on one of my TOS reactions and try to mansplain the fandom history to me, the girl who wrote 300k of meta and went on a years long deep dive into the fandom history as it related to K/S while receiving beautiful stories from women who founded the fandom through the 60s, 70s, and beyond. No please, you tell me about how Roddenberry hated K/S fans, I couldn't possibly have a wealth of knowledge that says otherwise sitting at the forefront of my brain at all times waiting for this exact moment.

The funniest part to me if Darius and Brooklynn ever actually get together is that no matter what, Mrs. Bowman keeps having the same daughter in law six years later because her cool adoptive son and her youngest nerdy son have the same type-- and it's just Brooklynn. The family reunions would probably be awkward at first though.

Finally did Christmas with my dad’s family, at which my stepbrother brought a friend of his. Which. Like. Fine. Whatever. I don’t know this guy hardly at all, I just know he’s about my age.

Anyways, playing a game I get a little Batman game and looking at it I see it has Nightwing and I go “Oh! He’s my favorite!”

Now look. Look. I know girls that like comics/superheroes/whatever have you have always had an uphill battle against dudebros that think they’re the be-all end-all authority. But I’d never faced it myself. So I am able to admit I saw red and was shaky with anger when this man turned to me with a smug little smile and said “oh? Well then what’s his name?”

So here’s the thing. I ain’t gonna claim to know everything about this character, esp not on this site. I know I haven’t read all the comics, or seen all the animated shows. And also I’m not an asshole, I know my knowledge has limits.

However. I can tell you for a fact I know more about Dick Grayson than this asshole. Not least of which because I can tell you the comic he first appeared in as Robin (which I had to inform this guy predated Jason Todd’s existence by over 40 years, and even predates Alfred Pennyworth. Yeah this guy thought Jason was the first Robin and had the gall to challenge ME on Batman knowledge. Like an asshole.)

So anyways RIP in peace to this fucker who tried to call a woman that once did an entire speech for school on why Dick Grayson is an underrated superhero a fake Batman fan. His demise was truly brutal.

Saying I don't care about depth and writing and then calling characters you personally don't like 'one dimensional' is quite something; are you sure I'm the one missing the point here?

The thing about Endo is that... You have to know I dislike simp characters - I find them really really annoying and their gag deeply unfunny. But Endo's adoration for Takiishi isn't played off for laughs in canon, and there's reverence in how he sees Takiishi... Basically what I'm trying to say is that simps impose (often loudly and insufferably) on the object of their affections, but Endo was content to just be there. He's more of a loyal knight than anything (and loyalty is a trait I really like in a character!)

And one last thing, Anon, they aren't even my favourite characters; they're up there for sure but my favourite will always be Sakura! He's so boyishly cute >///< I spend more time writing Sakura than for any other character actually
