Soulmate Across the Multiverse

A DPxDC soulmate au idea

So DCverse is a soulmate world (pick any soulmate way btw, words, touch, drawings on the skin, can't see color(s) until they see or touch them, etc etc)

DPverse doesn't.

Meaning Danny wasn't born with a soulmark BUT he gets one after becoming a halfa because he is now connected to the Infinite Realms.

SO its during another one of Vlad's schemes, he's popping into different worlds and stealing things or something like that (basically like that one ep where Danny chases Vlad through the timeline after he stole Frostbite's map)

During the chase they pop out into the DCverse in one of the hero cities (pick any, not picky on which) and their fight is getting a bit out of hand (Vlad's fault, he's using the stuff he's been stealing, and Danny is doing his best to getting innocent people from getting hurt)

ANYWAYS during the fight, one of the cities hero's come to try to help/find out whats going on when Danny is hit by Vlad and gets tossed at them. The moment they either touch or Danny/Soulmate says something to the other, Danny feels the odd mark on him burn up and is MEGA confused on whats going on but decides to do what he does best.

Ignore it for now. He'd figure it out later he still needs to stop Vlad.

He apologizes to the other hero and gets back into his fight, missing the look of complete smitten awe/shock said hero had on their face.

Once again, you know who is underutilized in DCxDP crossovers? Battinson. Skrunkly shivering boi. Who we should definitely give children to care for. 

 Did you know that Jason canonically had a brother named Danny? Well you do now, and it should also be used more. 

 We all want to give Battinson a robin, so why not give him four for the price of two. He of course gets Dick from the circus- he’s never going to go into public again, this was the first time he’d gone to do something out of his comfort zone for a while and look how that turned out. 

 And on one of the nights that Dick has to stay home (Alfred insists he must finish his homework if he wants to go out on patrol) Bruce returns to the batmobile to find not one child, but two. Is Danny reincarnated? Just appeared one day? Who knows, but he’s here now and going to protect his little brother. 

 Bruce might have tears in his eyes when they both hit him in the kneecaps and bolt because even with the armor it still hurts. How he manages to grab both kids he’s not too sure, but he ends up getting them food after they put the tires back. He also doesn’t understand how he’s convinced them into the car but they’ve both conked out and maybe he’s panicking and needs Alfred- 

 D-Dick why is there another child here? He’s the neighbor, cool cool. W-what do you mean he’s home alone, he’s like, 4?? What do you mean he’s been alone for a week now???

I'm so sick of seeing people act like Loghain didn't love his wife. Really? The guy who neglected his Terynir due to severe depression and feeling lost and only stopped fucking around after Celia practically broke his door down and shouted at him over his mistreatment not just of his people, but also of the furniture before going "can you lock the fuck in" and promoting them to have REPEATED shouting matches, which then resulted in him asking for her hand in marriage? The guy who fucking obliterated his wifes rose bush the ONE time she asks him for help tending it and then immediately decides the only logical conclusion is repentance by trouncing down to Denerim, getting not just roses, not just seeds, but an ENTIRE GODDAMN ROSE BUSH, THORNS AND ALL, stuffing it in his pack as he gets cut all to shit and tells everyone who offers to help him with it to kill themselves because it is VITAL that he be the one to give it to his wife? The guy who, after playing the longest running game of hide and seek with his own feelings and trauma, decides "yeah, I'll live with my wife, fuck it" and actually settled down with her for the whole of three years before she FUCKING DIES and prompts him to go "yeah, I'll live with my daughter, fuck it" as Anora drags the whole court down to Gwaren to give her mother the most lavish funeral ceremony Fereldan had seen to date and was so deeply affected by Celias death that he literally NEVER goes back to his Terynir because his wife isn't there anymore? Mr "you'll have to excuse me if I close my eyes and think of my dead wife" during what is probably the first and only time he has had any kind of sex since Celia died??????? REALLY????? Get the entire FUCK out of my house. Say what you will about Loghain and his fucking AWFUL coping mechanisms, but don't you spit on my boys marriage to Celia. It's possible to avoid processing your trauma AND love your wife.

and i keep wanting to say stuff like, 'well have you considered maybe thats what he WANTS to do. did you ever consider that?' Did you consider that this is like the first time he's looked happy in like forever?
