2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

I think I'd like to write something to do with soulmates. That, or mind/soul bonds. I love reading them but haven't gotten the courage up to try one yet.

15. If you could choose one of your fics to be filmed, which would you choose?

Ooh, probably Dead Man's Party. I think it would make a cool kind of one-night-in-Gotham movie. Where it all takes place over 12 hours or so and Jason is just trying to figure out his life in one night.

Thank you! No writing today, sadly I am under the weather and cranky.

The writing process is very spur of the moment for me. I usually try to write immediately when inspiration hits. I'll sit down and bang out 1-5k words within an hour or so, blasting music the whole time.

Sometimes I'll sprint with folks over on discord, which is always fun. If I'm writing bloodletting or another fic with a complicated plot/history I usually write much slower, and with great frustration.

I get inspiration from surfing tumblr, chatting with fellow writers, and by imagining situations in my own life as stories.

I often have a hard time shifting between reading and writing for the same fandom, so usually when I'm writing for DC, I'll be reading Star Wars, Merlin, Hannibal, etc. If I'm reading DC fics, then I'm usually not writing at all. Lol.

BUT. I didn’t have a mental breakdown this year (came close tho) and I still managed to write other things.
