The fallacy that is discourse is sometimes so transparent:

"You can claim x because you aren't an x (even if you claim you are an x) and no x believes or is saying this (they say they are x but not by my standards). Listen to x."

It's always about listening to x but not that one. It's always about (9 times out of 10, maliciously) erasing large swaths of people from a conversation or an experience to aid your point. And the people who usually use these arguments look at someone who fits their definition of x and decides that they aren't x because they disagree with that person's beliefs, lived experiences, and knowledge.
