this event is... so disjointed....

it has very powerful scenes and the ideas are all paying off on set ups that have been building for years

but most of the reveals we've been waiting for happen off screen, we skip big scenes in order to immediately move to the next big set pieces, it makes it very weird to read

like Mordred and Cruz discussing and Mordred suddenly realizing immediately Cruz is a spy and then we just learn they disappeared? or not seeing how Arthur is seen as the Heir until the king just drops it? or just now Arthur coming with EXCALIBUR to help on the battlefield (while last time he used Excalibur without Mordred he almost died)

and then they go quickly "oh yeah this happened offscreen, don't worry, now onto the task at hand" and i'm just. I kinda wish what was offscreen was given time? to show?

the scenes outside of that are fine and i get otherwise the event would have been too long, but it keeps feeling like a whiplash to read and it's not the most enjoyable to see stuff that have been the heated topic of conversation for years just basically being handbrushed to focus on its consequences

I wanted to read the gbf event before they drop the DA podcast, but i didn't expect they'd drop at the same time. so i was vibrating from the DA podcast because of my wolfie in it, and i thought i'd be unable to focus on the gbf event. and then i saw a screenshot of the Erune in it and i thought "actually i need to read the new event" only to be hit with the fact the Erune in question is called Wolfe.
