Thank y’all again for being so patient with this chapter! I definitely DON’T anticipate the next update also taking 7 months to release, BUT it’s not going to be back on schedule within 4 weeks either jjjjhhjhhhh

We’ve got 7 chapters left in vol.1 which are the ones I consider to be the most important for this volume, so I’m putting a lot of extra time and care into them

I just had a thought- remember when B.E.N. said that Flint pulled out his memory so that he couldn't tell anyone where his treasure was? Well, what about the rest of the crew? Didn't they know where his treasure was? What happened to them?

Actually—! BEN specifically states Flint pulled his memory so he would never tell anyone about Treasure Planet’s booby trap 🤫

Anyways, if you’re referring to what I think just in general in line with TP’s lore?

The portal and the map’s homing beacon was their only means of navigating to-and-fro Treasure Planet. This place is so shrouded in the Etherium’s darkest space there’s a reason it stayed hidden for a hundred years to the point it became a myth. The map’s homing beacon and the portal are the ONLY ways you’re finding this planet for a reason (it’s why maps exist in the first place after all!)

And even if by some miracle you were a crewmate who could remember exactly how to get back to Treasure Planet entirely from memory (even when the most used method was teleportation) the map is the only means to even physically getting to the treasure via the portal; and of course, Bones ran off with it. So it’s safe to say the rest of the crew simply disbanded, then died out as Bones slowly outlived and evaded every one of them.

BUT— if you mean in TToNF? I won’t go into deep details as to why the Walrus crew chooses to leave behind the “loot of a thousand worlds” as that’ll all be ultimately explained in vol. 4.
