Has One ever hugged back Poptart? I think that depends on what qualifies as a 'hug' aha...

One has returned snuggles 'accidentally' and/or 'unintentionally' on multiple occasions when he is tired and content and comfy (see figure 1). But, when he is awake and standing and all he has never properly ever returned a hug!

So um, in light of my last post I was inspired to look into other dsmp people's ages because I feel like we don’t really think about it too often and oh does it make things interesting…

Just for reference and consideration, here are some United States Legal Age Minimums:

Drive: 16-18

Adult: 18-21

Vote: 18

Drink Alcohol: 21

Political Office: 25 (Representative) 30 (Senator) 35 (President)

Military: 17-18

Also Note: On average the brain is scientifically not fully developed until age 25 - and oh wouldn't you know it 90% of the server fall under that, meaning no wonder we have a bunch of wars their prefrontal cortex isn't fully developed and wouldn't you know it that part of the brain is responsible for regulating attention, behavior, and emotion as well as the processing that Actions Have Consequences... huh whelp that makes sense.

Anyways… age data is below (I didn't do everyone nor every event - nobody got time for that ;D... I didn't have time for this to begin with lol...) But I specifically want to highlight that not only was Dream 21 from Jan-Aug of his Imprisonment, but Sam was also 21 till Jun, and Quackity was literally 20 while he was daily torturing Dream... 20?! They were roughly a year apart, all of them so close. Like can you imagine, treating your peer like that? Sam is like a couple months older than Dream and that's it. Quackity can't even drink legally in the United States. That's insane...

I had an interesting conversation earlier with a friend about the movie, because they didn't understand why I was so intrigued by velvets character "when she's obviously just a villain"

Oh no yeah I was thinking abt that a lot, literally in the middle of writing a post about them for the au as we speak lol. I am CONSTANTLY thinking about how the bergens treated trolls as nothing but little animals for god knows how long, EATING THEM every year, keeping them trapped there...and those guys made peace with the trolls. And their parents are NOWHERE to be seen in current day. If they're alive, they clearly don't give a shit about their kids. It wasn't even jail they got sent to, it was prison, which is much harsher in comparison. Veneer is a sweet guy, a very soft-hearted kid who is a very good character as well. But like you said, he participated. SOMETHING had to be up with their upbringing. Veneer hardly spoke and looked panicked when Velvet flipped the table...and Velvet, who was probably what, 10? 9 maybe considering how small they looked? She flipped an ENTIRE TABLE with THINGS ON IT by herself. There had to be so many events leading up to that even at such a young age to cause her to have that massive of a reaction to a question as simple as "how was school today?" Like no way they had good parents when Veneer is obviously afraid of speaking out and Velvet has a whole airport full of emotional baggage that turned her into the person she is now. And they're not even 18 yet! What the fuck! Someone help these poor kids!

Damian, at his shortest, should outgrow Tim by age 15. At his tallest he should outgrow Tim by age 12 (or earlier)

The Evidence:

Tim Drake is 5'5"-5'6 at age 17 and should be 5'6"-5'7" by age 20. Cassandra and Steph are both around his height

Damian's adult height* should be minimum 5'10" and maximum 6'5" . That is to say it varies from Dick's height (~average man) to tall as heck (tallest among the bats)

*depending on his height when 10-11 (varies with artist), and according to his parents' more consistent heights of 5'8" and 6'2"

The Second Point:

Envision Tim being judged for first fighting an 11 year old and saying "that 11 year old is heavier than me and it's all muscle". This is canon accurate

The Third Point:

The bias against tall kids is weird, confusing, and somewhat suspicious to me. TBH most things are, However; it makes me wonder how often tall kids are treated as adults before they should be and explains to me why short people get treated like kids

We can't even get over the idea that maturity isn't based on size. No wonder we can't get over treating women as either mature by puberty (when height growth slows) or never mature at all (average 5 in shorter than men)
