-and let’s be very clear about this: they are both doing so badly and they’re both so terrified about a life without pony and Johnny and dallys doing badly and two bit was jumped and they both just need a distraction

-so ace decides to give it a shot and kisses him, and they make out for a minute before soda breaks away from her and straight up starts soooobing

-and he just kinda breaks down and tells her about sandy and the baby and that it isn’t his

-and she has no idea what to do because greasers don’t cry much, but she tries to comfort him

-then they start walking back and they’re like “yeahhhh I think we work better as friends lmao” and they laugh it off

-no they’re so silly, after that happens I think they get a lot closer :)

“Okay, I’m going to enter the dungeon.”

“I follow into the dungeon.”

“I…  also follow into the dungeon.”

“Okay… so what do we see?”

“It seems to be some sort of laboratory, with metal tables lined up against the walls, open chests full of vials and potions all this bright green color. There are all sorts of tools, journals, and pieces of… something, lying on the tables, and it’s decently cold down here. And, taking up the entire back wall is a cavern, circled by runes, that the entire laboratory seems centered around. What do you do?”

“Oh! The artificer in me loves this place already! I go and investigate the things on the table! Gotta start with the small stuff before looking at the big picture.”

“Yeah, have fun with that. I go and investigate the big hole in the wall.” 

“Eh, why not? I follow… Raven to the back.” 

“Okay, Swave, let’s start with you. I need you to roll both an arcana and… eh, an investigation check works.”

“Cool, okay… that’s a… 7 for arcana and 16 for investigation.”

“So, on the table, you can definitely tell whoever lives here was tinkering with something magic, but you can’t tell what kind other than green and glowy. It’s just a bit too far removed from your area of expertise. Whatever it is, they don’t seem to be getting the results they want, judging from the notes. But, they’ve definitely accomplished something recently.”

“Damn, really wish I rolled higher on that arcana.”

“It is what it is. So, with Raven and Orion. Now that you’re closer, you notice that there are runes inscribed around the cavern, roll an Arcana.”

“Nice, 18 plus 3, 21.”

“I rolled an 8.”

“Okay, well, Raven, you completely recognize these runes, you even notice some blatant errors in some of them. They seem to be an activation sequence of some kind, a gate, even. Orion, you know what a small handful of the runes mean, but nothing coherent.”

“Okay… I uh… go inside the cavern.”

“Eh! I dunno dude, I don’t think it’s a good idea to walk into the giant magic gate in the underground lab.”

“Nah, let him, I’m curious.”

“It’s too late to take it back now. Raven, what are you doing while he’s walking inside?”

“Hmmm, do I notice Orion walking inside?”

“Roll a perception.”

“… that’s a solid 3.”

“Then no.”

“Okay, I’m going to fix the runes.”

“Are you sure?”

“Hey! Don’t do that! I’m literally walking inside of it right now! Can’t you wait until I’m out?”

“First off, I didn’t notice you go inside, second, the runes are wrong, of course I’m going to fix them. It’s what my character would do!”

“Oh no…” 

“Swave, I want you to also roll a perception check.”

“… Sorry dude, that’s a 5 at best.”

“Ughhhh.”

“Raven, roll an arcana again to correct the runes.”

“17.”

“Congrats, you’ve fixed the runes. Orion, roll a dex save.”

“NO!”

“AH!”

“Oops.”

“… a 2.”

“Ouch, man. Okay, so Raven and Swave. As Orion enters the cavern, and Raven fixes the runes, they start glowing, and there’s a tearing sound as green pours out from the hole in the wall.”

“NOooOooo…”

“Hmm, just for kicks, Orion, roll a con save.”

“Okay… man, this sucks, first session and I’m already… that’s a nat 20.”

“Seriously?!”

“Wow, this will be interesting. So, Orion, as you enter the cavern, now known to be a portal, it lights up with green magic, and races through you, like it’s cooking you alive. But due to the force, it launches you out, and you land in the middle of the laboratory floor… Lower your hp to 1, and use up two death saves. Also, change your race to tiefling. I’ll send you the rest of the stuff when I figure it out.”

“YOOO!”

“Haha… yeah… wow.”

“Hey, Spike, thanks for coming over to DM today.”

“No problem. It’s good to help a friend's sibling with something I’m good at. Especially when he’s trying to make new friends, and it’s not like Jazz was ever going to call in that favor.”

“Yeah, it was really cool. Thank you, but wasn’t it a bit ‘on the nose’ to use my parent’s basement as a reference?”

“Hey, it’s a good inspiration. Besides, you’re the one who walked into it, prior knowledge or not.” 

“Haha… yeah that’s on me… didn’t think it was actually going to do anything until Sam decided to fix the runes.” 

“Yeah, not the best move from a group perspective. But… Jazz said they’re expecting to finish it within the next year.”

“Yeah… maybe. Most of their stuff just covers us in goo. I just hope they finish it soon… they’ve been down there a lot, ya know?”

“Yeah… I do.”

“Anyways, I’m sure I’ll see you around. I’ll tell Jazz you said ‘hi’ whenever she gets home from tutoring.”

Alright, I'm probably going to watch this multiple times and focus on each character individually at some point but for my first watchthrough I pulled up this post while watching and will send my thoughts/reactions, warning this will be very long

Oh Orange just got another drink and Red's playing with their rabbit

RED GOT TO SIT DOWN FOR A BIT YAY hang out with Yellow yes they friends this is nice

Oh we merged with canon now, Orange found the portal :D They timed Orange running through well with the music

BLUE'S SO SAD ABOUT THE NETHERWART NOOO but ah yes we get to see two Oranges on screen at once this is even more suspicious than the actual episode

Oh now Green's experimenting and Yellow's just vibing with his friends and Red's going on a swim and Blue has now gotten incredibly bored

I'm getting the sense Green's probably doing the same thing Blue is rn and is just taking a break after finishing his experimenting

Oh ig the witch is still carrying Blue cause Blue got startled when the witch jumped and started making zombie noises, they just went back to chilling tho

They started fighting and Blue started freaking out rip, they tripped and just stopped moving oh no

Oh hey wait Pig sorta noticed Green ALSO PFFT BLUE GOT FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN

Just watching Blue trying so hard to get the Netherwart also Pig gets their own POV :D

PFFT THE MAIN FIGHT'S HAPPENING AND PIG'S JUST IN THE CORNER WITH THEIR OWN POV I WILL NOT GET OVER THIS also there was a scene I'm looking forward to seeing if they do an extra POV I'll get to that in a minute

They did not POV it :( I will forever be wondering why the other four took so long to get Red back into themselves and why Yellow was trying to feed Red a splash potion during the Blue/Witch 1-on-1, on the plus side we get Pig stealing all the potions

The CG are just watching and cheering as dyes XDD

This is not something I originally thought of how it would be POVed but it would be incredibly funny if they had a side screen with the entire group just standing there while Orange goes through their nether flashback, they did not do that however

I have reached Parkour, seems pretty much like the regular episode for a while so imma skip ahead hopefully I don't miss anything, skipped to about the end of the splitting paths

Alright I am going to need to rewatch this bit a few times later, also I need to check if they actually all did get the times it said they got and if not who won

NOO ORANGE DROPPED THE TROPHY OFF THE EDGE I THINK also Yellow got strangled for a second there

Mango was tryna draw and told Purple to go away I feel ya I don't like people watching me draw either, yooo they do have a security camera station - huh Purple told them to rewind Yellow's footage I think

Whatever's going on at least there are less POVs and the Purple music mixed with the other soundtracks occasionally is still cool, weird seeing multiple of some characters at times tho

Blue's back and now Yellow's gone, also they aligned two of the slow motion shots again, neat

Alright Blue and Yellow are together again so there's no one person missing nice, AND THEY'RE ABOUT TO JOIN THE MAIN GROUP

Alright we're at two POVs now and Green's gonna join soon, curious how POVs are gonna work in this upcoming fight

Even with these extra POVs I still don't know where Red went after Yellow force staffed them away

Scanning forward this actually looks relatively single-perspective so imma skip to the portions where there are multiple perspectives for ease of wanting to write this out

Okay let's see...

• Starting off strong with MLP. My mom used to love the ponies back in the 90s so ofc i got introduced to FIM in the 2010's (Friendship is Magic/Generation 4)

• Monster High, because again, my mom introduced me to it. Was obsessed with the movies and characters, even had a heck ton of dolls! Draculaura was (and still is) my favorite MH character.

• Gotta get the indie game fandoms outta the way so, FNAF. Ah yes, a classic. The game i found through a literal Just Dance back in 2017 and what paved the way for discovering-

• BATIM. (Smooth transition, i know) Lil' Bendy darlin' and all his absolutely terrifying inky friends was what made me so interested in 1920-30's rubberhose animation. Alice will forever be my favorite...alongside Sammy Lawrenc-

• Cuphead! The OTHER indie game that came out the exact day BATIM chapter 2 did, that got me really invested in animation and 30s culture. Loved Casino Cups and absolutely FREAKED OUT when i heard the game was getting a show on Netflix. (One time i even spent like a week animating eyelashes and a skirt onto mugman in several clips of the show, lost it tho.)

• Which not-so-smoothly transitions over to BBIEAL! Or uh, Baldi's Basics. This silly little shitpost of a game is my comfort and therapy, i'd die for these characters tbh. Love everything about it and found Kindly Keyin & VOAdam through it! (The comic dubs was a phase in itself honestly.)

• UNDERTALE. God DAMN i love this game, and it's no wonder why- i mean, come on, it's Undertale. Lovable characters, a heartwrenching story, the biggest fandom Sans-astrophe ever, etc. I took this quiz once (or twice) where i found out that my soul trait would be Patience, the cyan soul, and yeah. Makes sense.

• UNDERTALE: YELLOW. okay, okay, i'll keep this short. This is a fangame, i repeat, FANGAME for Undertale that came out a few days ago and i am in love. Check it out PLEASE if you love Undertale, you'll love UTY aswell.

• Aaand moving swiftly away from that, let's talk SONIC THE MOTHERF- HEDGEHOG. I finally caved and got into this 30 yr old franchise back when the 2nd movie had just come out in uhhh 2022? 21? Either way, best decision i've ever made. Was actually really into Sonic.EXE before this, which leads me to-

• My Creepypasta phase! Yes, i still draw the operator symbol on my wrist sometimes DON'T JUDGE ME. But this is actually one of the first fandoms i joined! having found Smile HD and Rainbow Factory at a wayyyy too young age, i got into so many more iconic pastas over time.

So those were the big ones, now's time for a speed-round!

• Tattletail, loved it. Best game ever, there's literally a full analysis video about it on YouTube as to why.

• Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, found HH back when the pilot got uploaded and just sorta kept up with HB.

• DSMP. Yup. It was popular and i found some really cool youtubers through it. (*cough* TommyInnit *cough*) still have my L'manburg flag hanging on my wall.

• Yandere Simulator. it was genuinely fun and interesting, sucks the creator's such a creep. But on the bright side, i found Kubz Scouts from it! so i'm glad i had this phase.

• Danganronpa. Found it through Kubz Scouts, got a little too into it lol (it was fun though)

• Found the magical world of TikTok aesthetics and got into Weirdcore, oh how i love surreal chaos.

• Just recently got introduced to the mechanics and world of felt puppets, think Sesame Street or The Muppets.

• Also animatronics! Think 70s Chuck-E-Cheese, The Rock-a-Fire Explosion, and so on.

• This ain't a phase but SPACE. God how i love the endless, deadly and terrifying void filled with unexplainable wonders that we're floating around in. Astronomy in general tbh.

• Game Theory, science and researching. Need i say more?

• Roblox. It was a huge part of my childhood (AKA 2017 uptil' now) and i will forever love the website and many memes it has spawned.

To take with a grain of salt since i'm no way specialized in health stuff, but all i'm really gathering is that it translates to very low energy and extreme fatigue, triglyceride influencing cholesterol since it means that it's just that my body is struggling to absorb the energy from fat substances. monocytes is a bit head scratching and self-researches do not help since interpreting what it means really depends on other health issue but it seems it's a response to the body battling... something. could be stress could be an illness so, gotta check more on that with a doctor for sure. so yeah what i mean is that in general i don't know if taking supplement is going to be my way out on this one.

but yeah i'll 🤞 and check on an actual doctor to look further into it. For now i admit that, even if it could be worrisome, i'm just kinda relieved it's like. actually something. I've had my complains of fatigue being constantly dismissed with "why don't you sleep more :/" and stuff like that it's almost reassuring to see like, actual reasons yaknow.

10. Hello Stranger

This isn't my first Filipino Bl, I watched My day before and thought it was good, but damn did Hello Stranger surprise me. Filmed during the pandemic and on an online setting, it really made it different. The actors were so good and I'm glad it was a slow burn. I recommend for newbies.

9. Papa and Daddy

This show was so cute, I think I smiled through the entire show. It's basically a show about two dads and their son. The actors had great chemistry and the topics of discussion were new and fun. I highly suggest watching it but be warned, it's ending was too dramatic. Those who know, know.

8. You make me Dance

I like anything that carries a soul mate plot lol. But honestly, Korean Bl can go toe to toe with Thai Bl and even portray some healthy, cute and beautiful relationships, like the one in you make me dance. I live for the dance visuals, made me so relaxed.

7. Lovely Writer

Yooo, this was a nice twist to the regular Thai Bl settings, it was really interesting to watch them bash Bl drama stereotypes and include 👌consent😩 like ugh well done. There were some beautiful scenes and I laughed a lot. As a writer, I highly recommend it, even for newbies, check it out on YouTube.

6. Tale of 1000 Stars

This would be number 1 just because I love EarthMix, lol their friendship makes me believe in love and I wouldn't be surprised if they were together. Anyway, this was the 3rd Bl I watched. The THIRD, I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT. I watched it on YouTube of course and I fxcking loved it. Not only does it temporarily get rid of the regular School and Engineering setting, but the visuals. I Repeat, THE VISUALS. not to mention the soundtrack is added to my daily life. I know a lot of people are frustrated about the ending, but I loved it to be honest and can't wait to see what they do when there's a season two.

5. Bad Buddy

The visuals, the chemistry, the soundtrack, the love. I smiled all through this ENTIRE show. I'll definitely be rewatching it, cause they are a comfort ship, perfect for those looking to start Bl, but be prepared to have high standards afterwards. Only green flags for Pat and Pran.

4. Not Me

👁👄👁 bitch off gun are the main characters, of course it's gonna be lit. and I'd put this in the top 3 but I gotta put me first 😭 so the messages and the cinematography in this series are INCREDIBLE. THE ACTING, LIKE WTF GUN. I LOVE BLACK. like the switch between each twin is stunning, I'm still shook. I love the seriousness and the topics they focused on in this series, not to mention the action scenes. If you're looking for something different and empowering, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

•CutiePie- bish this shit slaps. Yooo, that kiss, the soundtrack, the Visuals, this would be in the list, but the entire series hasn't finished airing. Did I mention the ACTORS AND THE CHEMISTRY?!

• 2gether and Still 2gether- I liked it, have a lot of Srubb songs now, but I didn't connect with the actors a lot. Bright and Win are good actors, but please don't hate me, they didn't have great chemistry, it was good, but not great. I enjoyed the slow burn tho and it was fun to watch. I recommend to newbies, check it out on YouTube.

•Tharntype- my first Bl and I think a lot of y'all too. I love MewGulf, they are Kings, but if this was made now, I think it would have been better and probably darker. I like Type and Tharn's chemistry, but they seriously need to communicate and probably see and therapist. Not to mention Lhong, like damn, that was a twist. But it's in the Mentions cause of the amazing soundtrack, visuals, acting and chemistry.

•Theory of Love- I didn't finish this. I got tired of Third crying and Kai, can't remember his name, was a HUGE red flag.

3. Sotus and Sotus S

Here me out. I watched this like a few weeks ago and damn. I loved it, lmao, I would love to see Kongpob and Sarawat (2gether) go toe to toe in a flirting compilation. This show was perfect, it didn't need a lot smexy scenes and I really loved the portrayal of the characters. I'm biased I guess, cause Arthit is a lot like me in my relationship. I'm not the most blatant (even as a straight girl), I like my space and I'm very awkward. Later on the show deals with life and I the visuals are my favorite too, even if the show is like 4 years old I think.

2. Manner of Death

Bitch, you thought I'd forget the literal Kings of BL. Maxtul run this shit. Together with me want my second Bl, lol I know right. I still crack up over the "you be tripping" and the chemistry between maxtul both kills me and makes my ovaries burst. Then I found Manner of death. Bitch, biiiiiiiiitch. This show was everything I needed and would be number one. The plot, the acting, Inspector M' ass, the LOVE. I'm shook. Watch it on YouTube if you want. It's worth it.

1. Until We Meet Again

Well, you should have known, I did say I love a good soulmate story. But honest to God, I sobbed maybe 50% of the show. I watched it like two weeks ago and now I use the soundtrack to write. Guys, guys, this show broke me. I've watched a lot of shows and read a bunch of books in my young life, but I loved, LOVED this show. I started the first episode and was, wtf am I doing here, then convinced myself to watch it, even though I know how it would end. The actors, oml THE ACTING. I know ppl say Fluke cries too much, but have y'all seen Theory of Love, any who, the Visuals were amazing in this show too, holds up well with 1000 stars and Not Me. I live the plot and the deep issues in the storytelling, it was everything that hurt me, but I would definitely watch it again cause damn. And the soundtrack, yooo the soundtrack.

“Not bad.” Once the fighting was over, Leo approached Leonardo with a nod. “Have to say, not what I was expecting.”

“I didn't do it for your approval.”

Leonardo brushed off Leo’s praise with a wave of his hand, walking away quickly before the box turtle could see his smile. He hurried quickly over to Raphael, the mutant’s jaw still slack as he looked around like a confused animal.

“Raph— Raph, hey bud chill!” Raphael snapped to look at Leonardo, giving a snarl before he recognized Leonardo and let the slider bring a hand to his pulsing neck. “They’re gone. It’s okay.”

“Why is he like that?” Raph approached cautiously, his brow creased in his confusion at the state of his counterpart.

“It’s fine— he’s fine! Just stay back, you’re gonna make his agitated. Give me a minute…” Leonardo rested his head against Raphael’s chest and stroked the turtle’s shell in comforting spirals as he started to hum the lullaby from their childhood.

Donatello put Michelangelo gently on the ground before the both of them hustled over to Mikey, who still in his shell with the sound of whimpering echoing from inside. Michelangelo frowned, but Donatello simply gave an amused hum as he knocked on the box turtles shell.

“Hello? Anyone home?”

The shell opened slightly. “Did we win?”

“Sure did, terrifying large Miguel. You wanna come out and join the celebration?”

Mikey’s nose poked out of his shell slowly, looking around before the rest of him popped out and he scrambled to his feet with a deep breath, leaning over on his knees to shake his head. “That was scary.”

“Mike!” Leo’s call sounded from across the room as he summoned his brother.

“Uh— I gotta.” Mikey pointed to his brothers.

“Oh, please do!” Donatello gave a bow and motioned Mikey through, “Don’t stop on our account.” Once Mikey was out of earshot, Donatello turned to Michelangelo, “You okay Mike?”

“Hm? I’m yeah, I’m fine!” Michelangelo’s voice was high-pitched and chipper, his smile almost genuine despite the horror that had just occurred. His eyes had a particular twinkle in them that Donatello had learned to recognize over years, and Michelangelo carried himself with a correct posture and high head that contradicted his usual relaxed state. “We have to check on Michelangelo though. He had a panic attack earlier on the rooftops and I’d like to do an in-depth analysis on his mental status to make sure he’s coping okay.”

The speech pattern confirmed Donatello’s suspicion. “Yeah— sounds great, Feelings. Do your thing.”

The whole way back to the lair, the turtles maintained almost no formation. For the first time since they’d met, they all mingled together more like a family than two separate units. Leo, of course, was in the lead while his counterpart took up the rear with Raphael, who was still going through the motions of bringing himself back down to earth. Leonardo was helping him keep his focus. Donatello had April on his battle shell, folded out into the seat built just for her, and the two of them were with Raph and Donnie. The Mikey’s stuck together almost like glue, though it was mostly Michelangelo who kept them together so he could watch Mikey’s every movement with an intense focus.

When they got back home, the Splinter’s were waiting for them at the entry tunnel. Yoshi separated from his conversation with the other rat to hurry forward with arms outstretched as he made grabby paws.

“April!”

“Splints!” April hopped down from Donatello’s shell and fell into Yoshi’s hugs, kneeling down to his height so the master could hug her to his chest and plant ticklish kisses on her forehead, rubbing his paw through the curls of her hair. “Aw, Splints! You’re okay!”

“Aaaand so is the city!” Donatello interrupted, flashing the orb pointedly with a proud smile. “Yes, yes, I know. Hold thy applause!”

“Purple!” Yoshi gave April one last kiss before he held his paws out to collect the orb. “Good work! But what happened to you, April? I— I couldn’t go after you, I—“

“Don’t worry, Splints!” April said, her face glowing despite her ordeal, “The doc said all the bleeding’s internal! That’s where the blood supposed to be!”

Yoshi narrowed his eyes. “How long have you been waiting to make that joke?”

“Way too long, Splinter! Way. Too. Long!”

Yoshi shook his head, then turned to his sons. “And my boys! Are you all alright?”

“No, we’re not.” Leonardo kneeled in front of Yoshi, “It was Draxum, dad. Draxum and the foot recruit they— they’re the ones that took April.”

“Draxum…?” For a moment, Yoshi’s eyes flashed with disbelief before anger took over the red pools. “I knew it! I knew that no good yokai would—“

“Dad.” Leonardo silenced Yoshi and pointed at Michelangelo.

Yoshi’s eyes immediately softened. “Oh… oh Orange…”

“I’m fine father!” Michelangelo chirped, giving his dad a happy squeeze.

“Father? Since when do you… oh.” Yoshi recognized quickly what was happening.

Michelangelo gave a happy giggle before walking off, his arms dancing at his side with each step. Yoshi’s eyes couldn’t help but follow him. Leo couldn't hide his curiosity any more, approaching Yoshi with a polite bow.

“Master, I must ask what the importance of the orb is.”

“You haven’t told him?” Yoshi looked to his sons and was met with three shrugs. He groaned and his ears went back as he shook his head. “This is a mystic orb in which the people of our New York were trapped.”

“Yooo how they all fit in there?” Mikey shoved his way in, squishing his face against Leo for a second before he was pushed away.

Yoshi’s expression changed quickly to an annoyed one. “It’s magic.”

“Yeah! Courtesy of dad’s crazy ex spider fiance.” Leonardo added.

“I DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS A SPIDER AT THE TIME!” Yoshi shoved Leonardo away.

“Your world is… very complicated.” Splinter cleared his throat.

“Tell me about it.” Yoshi huffed.

Splinter turned to the gathered ninja. “You boys should go rest. You too, April. You’ve been through a great ordeal.”

“Thanks! Uh… other Splinter?” April looked to Donatello, “Someone gon’ explain to me what’s happening here?”

“You can have a look at her stitches in my lab to make sure she didn't pull anything.” Donnie offered, “And so you can explain everything in private.”

“That’s great, but I don’t do that… stuff.” Donatello said, sticking out his tongue and waving a hand like he was flicking off germs.

Before Donnie could do anything but blank in sheer confusion, Leonardo took April in a bridal carry and took her toward Donnie’s lab.

“Someone say they need a medic?” Leonardo beamed

“My hero.” April rolled her eyes.

Donnie shook his head slowly as he gawked after them. “This just keeps getting weirder and weirder…”
