It’s our final day of our challenge and I thought I would share some of the down sides of RV living so far It cost us $7 to wash and dry a load of laundry We can only go about 2 days before we need to empty our tanks (currently I have emptied tanks as many times as Greg has) We have to actually light the pilot light to start the oven and today I forgot to turn it off when I was done using it 😳🤦🏼‍♀️ The walls seem like they’re made of cardboard when people are outside talking or playing music it actually sounds like they are in the camper with you haha I can feel Sage rolling over in her bed at night 😬😂 Today is my sons 21st birthday so we’re going downtown so he can order his first adult beverage in public haha. Should be fun with his pregnant wife, 16 year old sister and sober mom. He and dad gonna be wildin 😀 What do you have planned for the holiday weekend? We are getting very settled in here! Yesterday Sage and I went to the gym and then the pool. I got to chat with my neighbor at the pool. His name is Willie, he’s an 82 year old Navy veteran who actually did the same job my son currently does. He served in Vietnam and was on the USS Midway. He received 2 Purple Hearts. Now he’s a Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard impersonator and a ventriloquist. He does shows in Vegas and for Casinos here in CA and he’s the musician for all Sunland RV Parks. Oh and he’s lived here in spot 148 for 7 years! I can honestly say I’m enjoying this life more than I expected 🤩 Tell me something you did that you enjoyed more than you thought you would! Day 2!!! I have to say, I am obsessed with this relaxed living so far…..it’s actually really quiet here. The lots are on the smaller side, it was a tight squeeze getting our fifth wheel situated so we could open all 4 slides fully and be back far enough. Greg has to kinda park the dually a little crooked so we don’t hang out into the street but we fit. We grocery shopped and I did laundry yesterday. Oh and we got our WiFi set up so Greg and sage can work and do school. Sage and I are planning to go to the gym and pool today.
