#personal #i like to think that on the whole i do a pretty good job of quelling any recovery-resistant behaviours #and this one isnt even a behaviour so much as a thought process but i know that even if im seeking help that the mindset i bring can #yknow. set me back #anyways. all this to say that like. i know i am kind of just a shadow of a person and i am getting in my own way with social interactions #bc i am so sure/terrified that i am the worlds most annoying guy to ever live #and while recovery in general is scary for a plethora of reasons #that is probably the biggest. because if i feel annoying NOW as a person who is often so depressed they dont even participate in talking #then how fucking annoying will i be when i have actual real energy and feel joy and shit #or maybe it will just feel like when im on an upswing and whether or not im being annoying isnt even a category in my brain #whos to say #sick and twisted how fun and not depressing being on an up is #i dont feel annoying i feel so confident nothing is ever bad. dont look at the insanely risky thoughts and uncharacteristic behaviours #vs now coming down from it #which is ofc worse than the general baseline depression bc its fresh off an up #sighs #idk. rambling i guess #yay psych eval in july

and now for a (slightly long) addendum: i know i depict SRS as jokey and kooky, but when it comes to not shitposting and actual characterization, i have Thoughts and Feelings about them. the entire story, they just want to do what they hope will help the people around them, even though it all ends up horribly, HORRIBLY wrong. that's tragic, and it has my interest. considering the heaviness (and intrigue) of SRS’s storyline, for me to only ever depict them as a goofball be way too shallow of me, and unfaithful to their canon characterization.

so to answer your question: they hold themselves together, of course, but the shame, regret, and embarrassment is still evident.

#i dont wanna get my characterization of srs from other peoples headcanons #but im admittedly a little too preoccupied to sit down and meticulously comb through their dialogue to see what each sentence reveals #my srs personality is usable but its not as detailed and tailored as id like it to be yknow #cause. just. EnaKasa my disaster couple. They’re both stubborn as hell, I think they argue at the drop of a hat and at least twice a week Ena goes “That’s it. We are DONE. Get OUT!!!!” (<- He accidentally woke her up at 6am being loud) and to win her back Tsukasa has serenade her from the window after she locks him out of the apartment and she either goes “awww… so sweet” and forgives him or lets him back in because his singing is EMBARRASSING her (bonus points if he manages to get Rui to come too for special effects to impress her. Fireworks and everything outside of her window. So romantic and so unnecessary❤️)

Tsukasa is a great model to paint because he is happy to pose for her as long as she needs him to and afterwards he praises her art so much. How she’s so good at what she does and she caught all of his best features. Tsukasa’s actually crazy about her, hyping his loser gf up so much, happy to do anything she asks when she’s too lazy to get up, introducing her as his wonderful talented partner then Ena is like:

“This is my boyfriend, Tsukasa. he’s fucking annoying. But he’s kinda sweet🥰. But like for real he’s annoying as hell😒.”

met a really cool queer stranger today that i thought was just so fucking neat i wanted to talk but if we were playing tennis they were, with the most gentle and earnest voice ive ever heard, shoving the tennis racket down my throat. every compliment or joke i made was turned away but in the sweetest way possible that made me sound like an absolute asshole lunatic. it was so scary.

Finally saw Wicked today. I fear it is, in fact, actually all that and a bag of chips. Like it is genuinely that good

#ramblings of a lunatic #storywise i actually found that they were stretching act 1 a bit thin and it showed in the pacing #but in terms of execution of the musical numbers and aesthetic quality of the sets/costumes/etc???#ohhh bitch.
