About the SA part. I take that matter very seriously, i knew that if I were to draw the act graphically and raw it would not serve any pupose at all. (i'd be even ashamed to draw such a scene)

Also i dont want anyone to look at that segment and think "smash" because of the beautiful voice of Antinous and the handsome charadesign, it would RUIN the song for me.

Whats important (to me) is to portray penelope's suffering gracefully and with dignity. So i opted for psychedelic colors to show the intensity of the moment and the feelings. All the meaningful symbolism are there to distract you from the action and make you think about the mental state and the consequence instead. Its a heavy topic it must be handled with the utmost care.

Also I'm a big hater of sex scenes in mainstream movies and shows wether its SA or just horny out of nowhere.

Basically, this event is going to be an open art/writing trade that's all about ships (or platonic duos).

Obviously, and every single one will be "revenged"!

Can I get something of another type/quality back? For example, can I get a fully shaded drawing for my sketch, or art for my drabble?

Unfortunately not, as I prefer to always give something of the same type back. There are only the following two exceptions that I AM willing to do:

you do a drabble/oneshot —> I do a sketch

you do any type of art —> I write a drabble/oneshot

Is there anything you refuse to draw/write about?

Deuce ships (other than Deuce x Allen). NSFW. Family x family. Minor x adult. Any ship considered to be problematic.

How do I tell you about the ship I want you to draw/write about for me?

Hello!

As a first post i wanted to share my favourite bubbies and since tumblr seems more text oriented than the other socials I have, I'd like to explain what was going on in my head while doing their character redesigns~ [BOOKS SPOILERS MENTIONED]

INTRODUCTION

These character designs were made back in winter 2022 for a sort of animation thesis. Many things didn't go according to plan in that school year so for lack of time and motivation I've never really finished the animatic but I will include a wip at the end of this post. The animatic was about my interpretation of their story, finding a person to call home while in a crude and terrible world.

XIE LIAN

Xie Lian is the first of the two I made, his character design was very clear in my mind since the start. It's not largely distant from your official usual XL but I thought it already fitted very well.

The three main colors for XL are white, black and golden yellow. The prevalence of black and white colors was inspired by two main factors:

I personally see XL as a heavily dichotomy based character, not only in the association to the White Clothed Calamity but also in the way he's described as pretty as a flower but skillful with the sword, following a chaste path but mingling with a ghost king, all kind smiles to others but struggling with his own hope, etcetera, etcetera. He is in a constant struggle to find a third option that is better than simply bad or good, mostly in his early God's days, and also later on with ‘not knowing whether to laugh or cry’. So in here, black and white represent the reality of human nature, where you have bad and good qualities alike, a concept I think XL struggled with a lot since he was brought up as the perfect and pure prince that can do no wrong.

According to my research of the meaning behind colors in the chinese culture I discovered black and white can symbolize many things, some of which I found quite fitting for where I wanted to go with my character design. Black can stand for sadness and bad luck. White represents brightness, purity and innocence. In some instances, however, white is also associated with death and is a color commonly worn at funerals. Moreover in my own culture black and white, along with deep blue, are very elegant colors to wear. Simple and elegant is what my XL wants to look like.

Another important part of my XL character design is his bamboo hat.

Following some good old christian imagery I used his hat as an halo. Most of the time I even ignored perspective to make sure his head is always framed in this golden saintly circle In my animatic storyline specifically it represents XL perfection. Soon the hat is lost in the mud and brought back later on by HC with a new meaning of finding yourself in a safe environment with safe people. 

For most of the other design choices I took decisions based on pure aesthetics such as giving him a very elegant mole under the eye, very long and lucious hair and a very very long hanfu with some very very long sleeves. Yes, I wanted him to be very very everything because I very very love him!

HUA CHENG

As a premise to my HC character design I want to say I am very amused at people’s different reactions to it. They are usually neatly split in two: either they hate it with a passion or just fall head over heels in love with it, no in between. I personally am in the ‘love it’ side (duh of course I am, I designed it lol) but I also understand if your first thought is “WHO TF IS THAT?”, so let me explain my thought process here.

Firstly, hot take: official HC character is made to be your perfect cool-hot-mysterious-boyfriend™ that has it more together than you do and we don’t like that in this household, at least not always. Yes he is XL’s most devoted believer, yes he is a very powerful supreme, yes he’s always there for his Gege but in the end he’s also a very traumatized person that has had a crush for a guy for 800+ years.

What I’m saying is I wanted him to be a little more relatable and goofy than what books show us so I integrated some of his personality hidden away in E’Ming. From here I got the puffy messy hair, the big round eye and the doubtful expression.

Next up let’s talk about the palette. He also has, like XL, three main colors:

Blue. Mostly of the time he spends around XL he does it in his true form, wich is the form of a dead person (even dead more than once;;). This is pretty self explanatory, when someone dies the hue of their skin goes to blue and also ghosts in general are frequently represented pale blue or white in color. As a little side note to this, I really enjoyed the blue demons HuaLian episode in donghua S2, it made me feel less alone in my smurf choice lol.

Red. This is canonically HC’s color and rightfully so! Red is widely recognized as China's color of good fortune, and in my culture, it is frequently used as a symbol of passion and the color of blood. There is really nothing better than red for Mr. Crimson Rain!

Lilac. Although I'm not sure about my research on this color in Chinese culture, I've read that it modernly represents love or romance. However, growing up in my hometown, purple (and all its shades) was always associated with ugliness and was thought to be a bad omen if worn. Whoever had the nerve to wear it was regarded as a distasteful and ominous weirdo. I think it fitted perfectly with how every other Heaven Official other than XL sees HC; someone who makes blood rain for fun and a potential and actual threat to the Heavenly Court.

As for XL, other choices I made serve a mostly aesthetic purpose. HC’s boxy build, pointy ears and the opened robe to see tiddies(🤩) are some of the notable ones.

HC would not be complete without E’Ming, obviously. After comparing some different blades and trying to integrate a butterfly in the design, I opted for keeping it simple and I ended up with this wobbly shaped hilt made to resemble HC’s bang. The fact that now E’Ming looks like it has a big nose is just an added charm honestly.

CONCLUSION

The original comic size was that big, I was going to leave it but the file glitched the app I was drawing on and made everything laggy dawg. You see that image in the top right corner over there? I didn't resize that thing, that's the actual size.

For the drawing? Well, I was barely getting to the shading but I hated how it looked. So, I started from scratch and decided to go with the pixelated design with no lining mostly. I liked how that one came out better, so I finished it. 200 followers already?! This account of mine is growing rampaged due to you ya'll, thank you so much! Like I keep saying before and I'll keep saying it again, this would not have happened without you guys! And God, of course! Yes, I'm a christian. This journey of mine being a creator to this AU and upcoming AU's has been fun. And the It Takes Two AU, that's the one who I got peoples attention with, it scared me a little lol! Out of nowhere people started to spam my stuff and started to follow me, not that I'm complaining that is. I was surprised is all. Completely mind blown at how such a small drawing got its own fanbase. Talking about It Takes Two, there's an animatic in the works right now. I'm taking my time on it, it's almost two minutes long. I bet that doesn't sound much, but trust me, it is. Especially since I'm putting more movement in it a little. There's a new one almost coming to the works too, I only need Eddie and Frank's voicelines then it will be worked into another animatic. @artisticalmaniac who does both of them is really busy right now, wish him the best of luck!

- For body, it was a tie! With 34.62% for lean and a doughy/dad body. To balance it out, Monkey will be lean with a flabby/pudgy stomach.

- For eyes, at 65.38%, it was red and yellow!

- If it glowed, with an astonishing 88.46% said yes.

- With eyeliner, another 88.46% said yes.

-However, Only the Top and Both tied with 34.62%. Making Teal with 30.77% for the top and Yellow with 15.38% for the bottom (won by a coin flip). Since Top and Both are tied, it will make the yellow eyeliner show up when using gold vision but disappear when he isn't using it.

- Mouth color at 53.85%, was regular. With NOT making it as a mood ring of sorts.

- This was close but winning by one vote, a few characteristics will be shown.

- With 57.69% he does have black nails and at 70.08% rough hands.

- Nearly all you guys, 92.31 said, he will always look presentable.

- 76.92% also said he was fashionable.

The headcanons and other bits are for now a secret until it's written into the story. Hopefully, you guys see your ideas in future chapters!

Have a bunch of SPN figurines you'd love to pose for photo stories or--if you're a masochist--stop motion animation? We'll take it.

Do you have a ton of red color gel food dye and a sheet cake that would make the perfect canvas for a torture scene? We'll take it.

Do you have a few "in this essay, I will" jokes that you're lowkey dead serious about, even though you know you'll look like the Pepe de Silva meme? Don't be self conscious. We'll take it!

Stars twinkled overhead and lights glittered up from below as the boys zipped onto the skyscraper’s rooftop. They crouched along the edge and scoped out the elaborate building across the way. 

“You’re sure that psycho flower guy is down there, Donnie?” Leo asked. 

“Why do you continue to question me? When has my tech ever steered us wrong?” 

“Well, what about SHELLDON’s first...” Mikey began.

“THAT was user error and I refuse to accept responsibility for that.” Donnie cut him off. 

“Okay guys, let’s focus up here. Donnie, what part of the museum is he in?” Raph inserted.

“Security cameras say the south corridor of the northwest wing, which is... color me shocked, the rare botany section.” 

“Sick, i love a good orchid.” Leo took over. He gestured to the blueprint. “Blow it up, would you Don? Let’s see, Mikey, your fire’s tabled for now, I want you to keep the plants as far out of harm’s way as possible. This guy likes his new cousins a lot, so I doubt he’s wreaking havoc, but we don’t want them to get either stolen or squished.” Mikey pepped a bouncy salute.

“I’ll keep him busy. Raph, get my back in case he catches up to me, I don’t want to have to take a dozen showers in the next 24 hours. Donnie, can you make sure the cameras...”

“Already playing a loop, what, you think this is my first high-security break-in?” 

“You’re an inspiration. I want a good single shot incapacitation here, we’ll all have to live in the same lair with anyone who gets hit. That’s on you, Dee. I’m sure you’ve got a good method for weeding this guy humanely.” 

“Why yes, I’ve been synthesizing a specific growth inhibitor for-“

“Notice I did not phrase that as a question. Now let’s see, he’s already left the skylight open; Mikey, you and Donnie enter that way. Raph and I will portal in but I’d prefer he not get a good look at all four of us right away, so you two can go old school.”

“Time for me to blow him away with my fabulous dazzling ninjocity!” 

“I would say ‘dazzling’ and ‘ninjocity’ don’t belong in the same sentence, but I understand your point, Michael. Let’s dazzle. Discreetly.” Donnie forearm-bumped Mikey affectionately.

“Alright we good, boys? Sweet, let’s twist!” Leo jumped through his portal with Raph right behind him, barely intelligible as he said, “I’m still not sure about that catchphrase-“

Mikey flashed Donnie a big grin as he leapt off the ledge. Donnie smiled and went to follow, but as he flexed his legs in preparation to jump he felt a wave of... not cold, not heat, but something hollow and prickly rush through his lower limbs. He stumbled, falling off the roof more than jumping, but he was flying down anyway and it took less than a second for his battle-shell to kick in and follow Mikey. He cursed himself momentarily for standing up too fast, his legs must’ve fallen asleep.

The fight was going well, all things considered. Raph and Leo had got the plantman well-cornered and Mikey had only let one plant get smashed. He and the villain had taken that equally harshly. Donnie, positioned perfectly in the rafters,  whipped his targeting screen up on his arm screen and effortlessly narrowed his scope in like he had a hundred times... except it wasn’t effortless. The same empty feeling from before suddenly surged up his right hand, leaving it shaking gently, but enough that his screen wobbled uselessly. His fingers were stretched taut and quivering uncontrollably as he pulled his hand back, eyes wide. That wasn’t... what was going on? Tentatively, he reached back to his screen, but his hand convulsed and he nearly launched the tranquilizer straight into Raph’s shell as a stabbing pain shot up his forearm to his elbow. He bit his lip hard to keep from yelping, and tucked his now-violently shaking hand against his chest, mind racing. 

Something’s wrong, something’s happened, I don’t know, I don’t understand, I don’t- task at hand, Donatello. Order of operations. Solve the first things first.

Donnie whipped his left hand up to drop his goggles over his eyes, and executed a quick shot with his pupil controls... which swung wide and shattered a window when another sharp pain up his arm caused him to flinch and blink at the wrong moment. Heat rushing to his head as the alarms tripped, he got off a second shot that hit the mutant squarely in the back of the neck, knocking him out. 

“‘Bout time, Donnie! Let’s get out of here!” Raph yelled over his shoulder as he grabbed the plantman and hurled himself through Leo’s new giant portal. Leo was through immediately as well and Mikey was right behind him, noting out of the corner of his eye Donnie shoving his goggles up and dropping clumsily from the ceiling to the ground before pushing himself forward and... collapsing?? Mikey spun in disbelief as Donnie sprawled, and at first his eyes shot around, looking for a trip wire or some other trap, but there didn’t seem to be anything, no glint or flash or... he locked eyes with Donnie and felt a sudden bright shock under his skin. 

Donnie was afraid. The lost, desperate, mind-bending afraid that meant something was horribly wrong. 

His right arm was twisted up against him as if it were injured, and he couldn’t really see his legs, but based on the straining of Donnie’s left arm working alone to push his torso up from the damp sticky floor, they were messed up too. Mikey swirled and launched his chain at Donnie, who, in a rush of understanding, lunged forward and threw out his left arm to tangle in the chain and grip it tight. Mikey yanked, hard, and caught his brother as he half-slid and half-tumbled across the floor, and as the sounds of police sirens filled the room and the pounding of footsteps grew louder and louder, Mikey tightened his hold on Donnie’s waist and arm and plunged through the portal.

was gonna call this a rewrite, but p much any Forces hc is a rewrite in of itself, most of the time, so:

Infinite "I hate Shadow so much, I will love you" the Jackal with Sonic ( this isn't a /pos, btw, he's toxic // abusive asf ), but he hates Super Sonic with all his dead heart 'cause Super Sonic 'has Shadow's eyes', so when he fights Super Sonic, he's pure venom and none of the 'love' he was before.

and, for Sonic 06 ( cuz ofc i did ), Mephiles "I hate Shadow so much, I will copy his life" the Dark with Sonic, because i made it so he was able to perfect Shadow's form ( colors and all ) and obtain his memories, so he manipulated Sonic and that's how he killed him.

i just think Mephiles and Infinite hating Shadow so much that they'd hurt Sonic, 'cause they know that would hurt him far more than any physical pain they could put him through, is gold, but, like, in a /neg way. fool's gold, mayhaps.

Anna Miriam Brown released a muscial concept album at the end of 2023, called "Of Ashes" which is a retelling of two biblical stories with the most beautiful vocals and voices and storytelling, and i think it's underrated/unknown 👉👈 I was wondering if you've heard of it?

YES, I’ve seen it, and I really like Of Ashes the musical! I’ve had all the songs on repeat in my music playlist and have been thinking about making an animatic of it. The last four songs (Beautiful Death, Colors Reprise, Are You Willing Reprise and Let Me Forgive You) made me bawling my eyes out.

Gosh, there’s so much I want to do, yet so little time! 😭
