I haven't figured out if/when they'd meet in my canon timeline yet, but they definitely would meet during the Al'ab Nariya event! Honestly I think they'd get along quite well given how both have :3 energy, meaning Jamil really will be terrorized by 2 cats once they meet...

He'll be fine though, he's basically a cat himself 👍

BJ died at age 27, making him a member of the 27 club. he's currently looking for a way to get back on stage despite, you know, being dead and all.

lydia deetz is a young woman who frequents the maitland record store, owned by adam and barbara maitland. not just any record store, this one is "abandoned." adam and barbara are ghosts. lydia spends a lot of her time hanging at the store, listening to the records that never got sold and talking to adam and barbara, figuring that they're probably very lonely as ghosts. she herself feels lonely as well...maybe she should join them.

BJ hates being dead. in life he was no more than a petty criminal in a band, but now that he's invisible he's got no one to piss off and no stage to perform on. he's kind of an attention whore so the fact that no one can see him now is like torture to him. he and the maitlands actually got to meet while they were all alive, so they know that this guy is bad news. he knows they don't like him so when he's feeling particularly bored, he goes to the record store to pester them. and that's when he meets lydia, a living human who can see ghosts. he IMMEDIATELY latches onto her. see, he has this curse: you can summon him into the realm of the living by saying his name three times. surely this chick can help him out.
