izzy def would have had a pretty limited understanding of the holiday before hanging out with him and clary (halloween in its most basic form is pretty much every day for someone who can see the shadow world after all)

i do think simon was invited to a party with the band in 07 and i was gonna say shit was too crazy after cofa for him to have bothered going but i can see him mentioning the party in passing to izzy and her being like pls i am in desperate need of a party rn

but then they show up and it's so far from the last party they'd been to together (magnus's). like 20-30 kids packed into an apt in brooklyn and the music is loud and the costumes are so ridiculous

i think the guys probably wanted simon to use his sexy vampire mojo and show everyone up but come on this is a mundane halloween and simon's gonna take the opportunity to not be the daylighter for a bit

in the future him and izzy will definitely do coordinating couple costumes but not in 07 nosiree. simon throws something together from his closet. maybe he'll be a red shirt from star trek that would be funny since he actually can't die despite how many people want him to. izzy on the other hand gets some pointers from clary and decides to go as idk church or smth (clary: you could be a cat? / izzy: omg can i be church) something classic but also clever or personal

We talk about Annie a lot but wtf is up with Shayna Morse on twitter? I can't tell if she's a Simone stan who hate's Jonny or a Simone stan who kinda likes Jonny but she's always in his business whether it's to cry about how he's not liking enough of her insta posts (why is it always this???) or talking about him in a way that lowkey puts him down but then will say something positive about him.

She (and of course a benophie stan) where under Brandon Lewis' tweet about how he think Jonny and Matt both will be nominated for the GG and will also win and then they'll go on to win the Emmy. Shanyna is under the tweet saying there is no Emmy buzz for FT. WTF yes there is from insiders it will have a lot of nominations.

BTW Brandon thinks Jonny will get the nomination because of recency bias then he will win because he'll be a charming campaigner based off of what he saw at the screening last week.

Oooohoohoo, you wish me to talk about my Night Raven College baes? Let’s see then...

Ace Trappola ~ Okay, so I should admit right off the bat that I have a huge soft spot for the Heartslabyul dorm in particular. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll are one of my favorite things ever, and so most adaptations of those works tend to give me some amount of glee, even the really flawed ones. But for Ace specifically, it took me a little while to warm up to him, given that he can be a real prat, but once he and Deuce really rallied around Yuu (especially when they dropped everything on their winter break and took the bus all the way back to school during the Scarabia incident to try to rescue them and Grim -- MY HEART!!!), I fully adopted Ace as my second trash son and that was that. I also loved Ace’s development in the Ghost Bride story line, as well as his admittedly harsh, but still rather fair tear-down of Riddle immediately pre-Overblot. Ace can be really harsh sometimes, but that also makes him an incredibly honest sort who won’t take anyone else’s bull and won’t let anyone push him around -- yet at the same time, he’s also lighthearted enough that he never takes himself too seriously. In some ways he kind of reminds me of Jounouchi Katsuya from Yu-Gi-Oh!, and that’s definitely a compliment.

Deuce Spade ~ MY ORIGINAL TRASH SON. I loved Deuce pretty much from the get-go, considering how passionate he was about trying to fix the mistake with the chandelier and how adorable he was casting the only magic he could manage (“COME FORTH, CAULDRON!” XDD). Then there was the whole “chick” incident where we not only saw his delinquent side which he tries so desperately to hide on full display for the first time, but we also got to see how much he truly loves his mom and how friggin’ stupid and yet absolutely sincere he is, and I just fell in love with Deuce even more. The Wish Upon a Star event where we learn Deuce wants to basically be this world’s equivalent of a sheriff after having been such a delinquent in his younger years only made me feel all the more for this guy -- him wanting to be so much better than he was even if he’s not the smartest, strongest, or most talented guy around I find so compelling and likable.

Riddle Rosehearts ~ Yeah, I know, a lot of Heartslabyul love, but like with Ace, it took me a LONG while to warm up to Riddle. I thought he was a total jerk and I wanted nothing more than to give him a good telling-off (“go ahead, use that stupid collar on me -- I don’t have magic for you to block, you bullying prat!”) until Ace got around to punching Riddle in the face and then tearing him a verbal new one for me. It honestly took Riddle’s Overblotting for me to feel the least bit sorry for him, but it was how sincerely he acted after the fact in trying to make up for his mistakes that really softened my heart to him. Riddle has lived his whole life following rules and convention to the letter, and it’s made him miserable, so now that he’s come to grips with the fact that he doesn’t need to be miserable in order to live an upstanding life, he’s softened a bit. Even with this, though, that rule-abiding, upstanding attitude isn’t always hard to shake, and I think it makes for a much more balanced outcome than if Riddle just went hog-wild and stopped caring about everything -- because the whole reason Riddle followed the rules so closely is he wanted to do what was best for all and to be the best he could be, too. His motivation for being so strict came from a deep passion for leadership and order, and I’m glad that passion of Riddle’s wasn’t dampened, but instead given nuance. Now he can focus his passion more effectively, rather than lashing out in all directions indiscriminately. Like Ace as well, I loved Riddle’s development in the Ghost Marriage plot line, particularly his individual side story with Malleus. It really showcased Riddle’s noblesse oblige moral code, which I personally find the most compelling and likable aspect of his personality.

Jack Howl ~ JACK IS A GOOD BOY. Anyone who disagrees can fight me. (LOL, not really, but...) Like with Deuce, I liked Jack pretty much immediately. From the start, he just came across as so much more down-to-earth and honest than either of the other two main characters from Savanaclaw (even if Jack is also a total tsundere, but honestly, if you’ve watched any kind of anime, you’re fluent enough in “tsundere” as a language to know exactly what Jack really thinks of something). He was sort of depicted as a black sheep in his own dorm, and -- honestly? -- I’m a sucker for characters that are sort of on the fringes and don’t quite conform to what people expect them to be. Add to that how passionate Jack is about working hard and being the best he can be in his own right, as well as how deathly loyal he is, and he’s just overall a character I would love being friends with.

Jamil Viper ~ Jamil was the first character who Overblots who I actually felt sympathy for long before we see his side of the story in flashback form. Part of this admittedly is because I could sort of see where Jamil and Kalim’s story was going ahead of time, but the other reason is that I could see how much work Jamil put in all the time. Even though yeah, it was a real dick move to try to foist out Kalim so he could become Head of Scarabia instead, and yes, he manipulated things to make everyone see Kalim as cruel and irrational, it doesn’t change the fact that Jamil still acted like a Dorm Head a lot more than Kalim did a lot of the time, in the sense of making sure things run smoothly. Kalim definitely brings amazing enthusiasm to Scarabia as its leader and inspires a lot of positive feelings in the people around him, but if there’s a problem, it’s Jamil who often ends up fixing it, not Kalim. And from the start, I really felt for this guy who Kalim -- simply due to privilege -- didn’t seem to acknowledge he was demanding so much of, without receiving the same kind of attention and appreciation in return. I never disliked Kalim for this, because I could tell Kalim didn’t mean it maliciously and admittedly Jamil really should’ve said something since Kalim adores Jamil and would have likely been more than receptive to hearing what he had to say...but at the same time, given their power imbalance, it’s also not completely unsurprising that Jamil didn’t feel like he could say something. The best part about Jamil for me, at least, ended up coming out after he was allowed to finally speak his mind. Yeah, maybe he’s a little meaner now. Yeah, maybe he’s not so patient or amiable now. But he’s also allowed to show more of that deep, searing passion and ambition he’s been bottling up for so long. I loved seeing how much he enjoys dancing and performing through the Fairy Gala event and the recent Pomefiore chapter. I’ve loved how thoroughly (and pretty justifiably) distrustful he is of Azul. I’ve loved how he’s sort of on the fence emotionally about looking after Kalim the way he used to and making sure Kalim doesn’t expect his service the way he subconsciously did before. Jamil is one of the TWST characters who surprised me the most in how much I enjoy him, and I honestly can’t wait to see how much more he grows.

Epel Felmier ~ I WILL PROTECT THIS BOY, OKAY. Not because he’s delicate-looking, but because damn it, if he wants to eat macaroons and steak with the wrong fork, then he should be allowed to just go out and do it. I absolutely love the contrasts we’ve already seen in Epel so far. For as sweet and bishounen as his face is, he has a real rough, informal side fitting his background as a kid from the country, and yet he also has his “Prince Charming” moments too. He completely on his own comes up with the idea to arrive riding a horse when trying to impress the Bride during the Ghost Marriage event, and yet he’ll also tear into a bunch of ghosts who dare mistake him for a girl. Epel reminds me of a friend of mine from high school who also was a lot gruffer and more cynical than his short height and cute face would suggest, and it makes for a very interesting character, I think. You can’t pin this kid down or put him in a single box, and I think that’s awesome.

Vil Schoenheit ~ All right. Before the Pomefiore chapter, I thought there was no way in Hell that I would ever warm up to Vil. His slapping of people’s butts in the Fairy Gala event, his superficial focus on exterior beauty, and his bullying, condescending attitude toward Epel in particular really made me dislike him from the get-go. But then the Pomefiore chapter started and we reached the auditions...and I found myself agreeing with just about every critique he made, in contrast to Rook’s sunnier, fawning reviews. It made me feel like I was watching American Idol or America’s Got Talent and agreeing with Simon Cowell (which I honestly almost always did, whenever I watched those!). And as the Pomefiore chapter’s unfolded, I’ve seen that fascinating contrast in Vil. Yes, he’s very superficial -- but his dream is to act and be an idol, and in that world of celebrity, appearances are important. Yes, he’s very conceited -- but he’s also an incredibly hard worker who’s put in a lot of effort to improve himself and his talents to the point that he should be proud of them. Yes, he’s almost cruel in how relentlessly he pushes people -- but he never holds anyone to a standard he wouldn’t also expect of himself. Yes, he’s very forceful and sees his way as the only way -- but he does truly want those people to succeed in his own weird way, even if he can’t properly express it. Not to mention the fact that he’s constantly typecast as villainous characters, and he just wants to be a hero who makes it to the final curtain call!! My heart!! It’s made it so that like with Jamil, I’ve found sympathy for Vil long before he Overblots, and so I’m all the more eager to see how both the Overblot itself and its aftermath impacts Vil as a character and his relationships with the other characters.

Malleus Draconia ~ Oh, come on, who doesn’t love Tsunotaro? This precious child needs all of the love and party invitations in the world! (And yes, he may be an immortal fae, but he’s still a precious child to me, so there.) I would totally love chatting about gargoyles and grotesques with him. X3

2. Theme of King J.J. - Yuri!!! on Ice: HAHAHA well I have been exposed. This is my favourite anime, and say what you want about JJ but you gotta admit this song is such a banger I’m sorry. It’s in my ‘confidence’ playlist HAHAHA

3. Whispers - Passenger: GUYS. Probably one of my favourite songs of all time. I have sobbed to this song so many times. If you wanna know more about me, listen to this song. The lyrics just...ughhh such a good song.

6. Down in New Orleans - Dr John: Of course Disney was gonna come at some point, right? From ‘The Princess and the Frog’, which I think is very underrated. Out of all the Disney princess movies, it’s got the best soundtrack in my opinion. Love a bit of jazz.

7. Castle Street - Lewis Watson: Very pretty, I really like Lewis’ music. He writes really genuine lyrics and beautiful melodies. Another folk artist who I love, very underrated so I recommend giving him a listen! ‘Windows’ is another song of his that I adore.

8. Don’t Let the Sun Go Down - Oleta Adams: This is the best version of this song, in my opinion. Powerful, emotional, AMAZING. I do love Elton John and George Michael, but Oleta wins this one for me. One of my dad’s favourite songs, so maybe that’s why I love it so much.

9. Anthem - Chess in Concert: Oh Lord here comes my theatre side. Very powerful, and pretty topical actually. From the musical ‘Chess’, I’ve never seen the show but my brother showed me this song and I fell in love with it. This isn’t my favourite version, because that one isn’t on spotify. I’ve linked my fav one though :)

10. It Will Come Back - Hozier: Would it really be my music library if Hozier didn’t pop up at least once? He’s in my top ten favourite artists probably. This song makes me feel like a sorcerous who has seduced the heir to the throne and he can’t resist my mystical forest aesthetic and if that ain’t a vibe then I don’t know what is.

I’d like to address the following: Stop reducing Jalec to labels such as racism, incest or abuse. First of all, just because 1 of every 100 jalec shippers criticizes Magnus for his ethnicity doesn’t mean all shippers do. Second of all, almost all jalec shippers ship malec, so no one criticises EVER at Magnus. Third: most jalec shippers ship jalec as a mid-ship, i.e. a ship that should have happened BEFORE their respective endgames so to solve issues and close cycles. 

Fourth: it isn’t incest. Yes, a Herondale married a Lightwood in the 1800s, but the connecting genes are more deluded than anything. Yes, Maryse and Robert took Jace in but they NEVER treated Jace as their own son (bookwise and showwise), Jace was taken like a child they took in, was he loved? Yes. Did Jace see them as family? No. Jace doesn’t understand the concept of family much until he faces it through Clary, and showwise, once Alec yells at him to tell him they are his family. Jace said to Clary “they are like my brother and sister”. LIKE not an absolute. And it is his way of telling Clary Izzy and I are nothing and I’m single ;). One Alec’s side it is the fucking same, it isn’t until that moment that he switches the chip. He never saw Jace as a brother, his guilt wasn’t because he wa his brother it was because a) he was a man and b) he was his parabatai and best friend. He felt the guilt that comes with falling in love with someone of your own gender, as those who have experience this know. IT isn’t an easy moment, you find yourself not fitting what the overall community tells you it’s normal (for a boy to like girls, for a girl to like boys). His feelings for Jace are a sexuality struggle, not a familiar one.

Yes, they’re calling each other brothers now. Now that they’ve moved on Jace has moved on with the idea of his father as his only family. He’s assumed the Lightwoods are the closest he’s had to a family, and he’s finally seeing it now. But remember one thing: when two people are together, the family of your loved one is also your family. And Alec is calling Jace brother because he’s finally moving on (and because his mother, Maryse, who took him in, acted as if she had turned her back on him), moving on what he feels for Jace which isn’t yet erased regardless of Magnus (first episode, parabatai lost, Malec date to point out minor points where his feelings for Jace were addressed). 

That doesn’t mean they completely see each other as siblings. And more importnatly: it doesn’t erase that there was a moment where they didn’t. Where Alec who first saw Jace as a kid, had already made hearteyes at him. It was then when he developed his crush for him. He fell in love later, but he already liked Jace as more than a friend when he was 12 and Jace 11 (which let me remind you, that’s not childhood but the beginning of teenage for boys and when feelings begin to develop). 

Just because Alec is with Magnus, Jace wo’t stop being Alec’s first love. Just because they’ve moved on CANONLY with their feelings (apparently, at least, since EVERYONE minimally logical accepts Alec still has feelings for Jace) doesn’t erase whath appened before. And Jalec shippers, WE ship Jalec:

Platonically: Always, never going to stop. They love each other in a deeper way than romantic love or familiar love. They’re parabatai. That will never cease, even in death, they’ll be ruined at the lose of the other. No matter how much you butthurts try to erase this.

Romantically: Season 1 and before. And in all those settings where fics are done, where rps are done, the romantic feelings were reciprocate and thus they actually developed a relationship. Or those aus in which Magnus and Alec break up (like it’s going to happen because their break up is canon) and Alec solves his feelings for Jace and they are however briefly and try out because AUs are to be experienced and experimented

Lastly, but not least important: STOP BRINGING INCEST INTO THE POOL WHEN YOU SHIP WINCEST WHO IS 100% INCEST AND 100% BIOLOGICAL INCEST. Unlike These two, the Winchester ARE and SEE each other as siblings as family. Ship what you want, but stop telling people to stop shiping what YOU don’t approve for idiotic reasons (or well, for morals that can’t separate fiction from reality or the idea that absolutely everything done in fantasy romanticizes it)

Also, remember what I?m saying here: 80% of Malec shippers ship JAlec. And 80% of Jalec shippers ship Malec. Why? Because Alec’s feelings matter. What Alec felt for Jace matters, and the idea of a world where he didn’t have to struggle with rejection and never had to feel not enough or not good until Magnus appears (and even after Magnus appers because he’s immortal and has been wth even more people than Jace has) matters. Alec and his feelings for Jace matter. And all the possilbities for his different ways of achieving happiness matter

Also, really, it isn’t racism. It isn’t choosing the white over the asian, it is choosing Alec’s first choice as a possibility. Maybe SOME do it out of racism. But surely NOT ALL. 

Long Live Jalec. Long Live Malec. Long Live Clace. Long live CANON AND NON-CANON RELATIONSHIPS THAT RESPECT CHARACTERS TRAITS. If you want to attack shippers, go to those that ship Alec with females erasing his sexuality. Or those that place Magnus asexual erasing his bisexuality. Or those that rule63!Magnus and still ship her with Alec. 

Also, about abuse. Yes, book Jalec can be seen as abusive. As well as Malec, Clace, Sizzy, and basically every relationship there, since abuse is part of the teen atmosphere of all those relationships in the books. But not showwise. And most of Jalec shippers are show shippers. Because the show and Dom and Matt made it that wy. Because Dom and Matt’s chemistry is extremely good and undeniable, and for once, TWO MALE ACTORS AND TWO MALE CHARACTERS CAN BE SHIPPED BECAUSE THEIR SEXUALITIES MATCH (Jace might identify as straight, but he’s just as bisexual as Magnus is and no matter how much you fight it, it is the truth, and ending with Clary doesn’t erase that possiblity, no straight man on earth mentions homoerotism like he does to Simon after the biting, no straight man on earth feels offended because he’s not seen like the prettiest by another male, and no straight man looks at Simon Lewis the way he does). FOR YEARS I’VE SEEN CLEAR STRAIGHT CHARACTERS BEING SHIPPED JUST BECAUSE OF THE CHEMISTRY OF THEIR ACTORS, AND THERE WAS NO WAY OF JUSTIFYING IT SO PEOPLE KEPT CREATING AND MAKING UP HEADCANONS, BUT JALEC HAS ALL THE CHANCES TO HAVE EVER HAPPENED IF ONLY CC WASN’T SO ANTI-LGBTA (”but she has gay ships and ...”Yes, she does, and she had them out of presence the moment they got together, we never saw Magnus and Alec, it was all secret escapes, and when they kissed publically she had them leaving on vacation so to have them out, and on the new books i’m seeing the exact same thing except maybe with a bit more fanservice so showing them more not to mention all those rumors that say she’s planning on killing Alec). 

And im sorry for that last paragraph, it looks messy, but I can’t avoid my passive-aggressiveness towards CC. Even if I am indifferent towards her, I’ll never forget the abusive elements nor the fact that she chose to NOT explore same sex parabatai but is doing it with a straight one. 

AGAIN: If you don’t ship Jalec is fine. If you don’t ship Malec is fine (weird, but fine). what isn’t fine is telling people to not ship things that are respectful in the way they ship it. Yes, again, some aren’t. Some Malec shippers are really disrespectful towards any other shipper (such as Clace shippers when it doesn’t affect Malec). Some Jalec shippers are really disrespectful towards Malec ones. But not all. 

Shipwars begin with you take the voice of those that want to fight. Most shippers don’t want shipwars. Most shippers want respect and peace and most shippers don’t have a ship, they have an ARMADA. I have one. I ship Malec, I ship Jalec, I ship Clace, I basically ship everything on that show romantically (specifically talking about the show now) but Alec and Clary and Izzy and Jace (and well, a few more, like Luke and Clary or Magnus and Clary, I can’t ship those for many many reasons but hey if you do *shrugs* i don’t mind). 

So, really, let people ship what they want. You don’t like Jalec? Then don’t check the tag. Blacklist it, ignore it. Like everyone does. This place is filled with teenagers and adults alike, and sometimes, Adults behave more like teenagers than the teens do. So, seriously: you don’t like it, you don’t check it. That’s all.

Stop attacking. Stop insulting. Stop calling shippers sick for shipping something you don’t approve.

P.S. If you’re going to comment on how it is incest, again, seriously, check the character’s point of view and not YOURS, that i the most important aspect, check the character’s point of view. Malec is definatly a big one. It introduced me to the idea of LGBT+ because I never really had any experience with characters or people like this because I live in a house where my mom tries to shelter me from it. I also feel like Fierrochase is one just because, like Malec, it helped educate me more on the different kinds of genders and what differnet names of sexualiteis are or something??? Idk x3

Welp, it’s a tie between Snowbaz and Kalek and they kinda the same tbh???? I really love the snowbaz scene with them in the forest and Simon literally having no idea what to do and thinking the only way to save Baz is to kiss him like what the freak Simon. But Kalek’s first kiss is also rlly cute omgsssss. So the Kalek one they’re at this hotel okay bc they going to get ready to go out for dinner and everyone goes into their separate rooms, including Alek and Katie, who share a room. At this point they’re already together, but they’ve never kissed each other before. Basically they have like half an hour before they have to meet the others and there’s nothing good on TV SO, Katie brings out Carry On from her bag, which is both of their favourite book. Katie and Alek start reading around chapter 61, switching back and forth every time it changed from Simon to Baz (Katie did Simon, Alek did Baz). And then, when Snowbaz kissed, Katie put her hands on both sides of Alek’s face and asked if she could kiss her nervously. Alek, ofc, said yes, and they kissed :3

x3 oh gods I am literally so ashamed to say this im sorry but Solangelo. There was a time when I was young and uneducated and I thought that Nico didn’t belong with anyone except Reyna. Oh gods I was so wrong. Now I know better and the ship Nico x Reyna literally makes me sick to my stomach and Solangelo makes me super happy and warm and fuzzy inside :)

17- Talk about a pairing you’ve stopped shipping romantically.

Sophitz tbh. When I first saw them i thought that they’d be good together but gods was I wrong. Sophie definatly works better with Keefe and also if im being honest here Fitz needs a personality he a little bland :p

so here goes

1. The Pledge

Magnus Bane, prince of Edom, stretched out on the chaise longue, wine goblet in hand and continued regaling his friends with the latest romantic disaster to befall him.

2. A Tangled Web We Weave

Home. It was an odd word really for someone who'd never really felt like he belonged anywhere but it was only stepping through the door and being greeted by the lines of yellow cabs waiting for fares that it struck Magnus that yes, New York, was exactly that, his home.

3. The Start Of A New Chapter

“Ok well that's the last one.” Jace dumped the last cardboard box on the floor before almost throwing himself onto the ratty sofa in the middle of the living room.

4. Brooklyn Magic

Magnus sighed with relief as the last person left and he could finally lock up. It was a constant amazement that mundanes always seemed to leave their shopping until the very last moment on Christmas Eve. Surely this was a time they should be spending with family and friends not desperately searching round an obscure gallery of tribal artefacts in Brooklyn. Apparently his understanding of mundane tradition was was more limited than he thought.

5. What To Get The Clan Leader Who Has Everything

The last few months had been a steep learning curve for Simon Lewis. Amongst the most important things he had learnt were that sometimes even your best friends didn't have your best interests at heart even though they meant well and secondly sometimes people who seem grumpy and distant are the most forgiving people of all.

6. Magical Max

Magnus had heard parents talk about the terrible twos but had never really taken it seriously. He was starting to realise just how wrong he was as he looked down at his 22 month old son who was currently in the middle of an epic meltdown, his little blue hands balled into fists and punching the mattress.

7. Of Strength and Weakness

Clary crumpled to the ground, tears flowing freely. Alec rushed towards her and bundled her up his arms, crouching down amongst the rubbish, head resting on the top of her head as her whole body shook with emotion.

8. Misbehaving

The war with Valentine had changed so much about the shadowworld. For the first time in Alec's lifetime there was a noticeable shift in attitude to downworlders. Ok so it was still early days but the fact that representatives of downworld were included in Clave meetings could only be a definite step in the right direction. The only downside was that in negotiating the new accords the meetings were becoming endless, this evening’s meeting being a classic example.

9. Magnus’ Eurovision Soiree

It had all started so innocently. They had been lying on the sofa in the loft just watching some nonsense tv show when Magnus had suggested it. How about a little soirée ? His exact words. That probably should have been a hint. You know to celebrate you moving in…just a few close friends.

10. A Surprise For Magnus

Time for change Alec decided and when he decided something Alec always followed through with everything he had….

I finally did it anon! Sorry for the wait! Holidays and family stuff have made me have less time to write (plus me being horrible and spending all my free time the last couple of days on dnd and not this) but here it is! Uh got a lil bit more Tom/Lewis than I meant to (they have to be in all my fics now man) but the smornby is there!

Nervous

The infamous party master of senior year, Tom Clark, was hosting a surprisingly small party for what must of been the first time ever. There was no special reason, it wasn’t anyone’s birthday or an anniversary of some kind, no one new had arrived and no one was leaving town anytime soon. But instead of the house being filled with nearly everyone in senior year, plus half of the year below, there was only sixteen teenagers sitting in Tom’s living room drinking. Most of the group were sitting on the floor in a circle around a huge glass in the middle surrounded by cards. Zoey and Fiona were out of the drinking game, choosing to watch the chaos of the drinking gaming unfold while snuggling on the couch. Rythian was also not playing, sitting on a chair behind his boyfriend Zylus who was unconsciously leaning back on Rythian’s legs.

That left thirteen people playing the drinking game. Sjin and Sips who were sitting beside each other, nudging the other’s shoulder before laughing at something. Beside Sjin sat Duncan, Kim, then Hannah, all three talking as they waited for the game to begin. Next to Hannah was Simon, Lewis and the host himself Tom. The three were talking with Ben, who was writing the rules for the game down on a piece of paper. Zylus was next to Ben, happily waiting as he leaned on his boyfriends legs. Lastly came Trott, Ross and Smith. The well known trio completing the circle and giggling at some stupid inside joke.All of a sudden, everyone’s conversations are cut off by Tom as he raises a hand holding a piece of paper and yelling.

“THE RULES ARE DONE. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!”A few cheers came from around the circle and Tom pulled the first card from the pile.

Twenty minutes later and the group was obviously slightly drunk. More than half the cards had been removed from the circle and the glass in the middle now had a strange murky coloured liquid in it. People around the circle looked different too. Simon had a box on his head with eye holes cut out so he could see, Trott was happily sitting in Sip’s lap and Sjin was now missing his shirt. Duncan was lying on his stomach, hands by his side as he only made seal sounds and Ben had two bottles duct taped to his hands.

“Right Ross it is your turn.”Tom announced and the man in question reached forward and pulled out a card.“7”Tom looked at the paper in front of him.

“7 dare. Okay I totally have this. I dare you to play nervous, with Smith.”A bunch of people in the room went ‘ooooooo’ and Smith winked at Ross.

“Uh, what’s nervous?”

“Basically you just touch Smith and ask him if he’s nervous, if he says no you move to a more awkward place so like up his leg closer to his dick. You keep doing this until Smith says he is nervous. If you back out you have to skull you nice and freshly opened vessel.”

Tom smirked at Ross and the man knew he was doomed. He regretted letting Tom know about his crush on his best friend Smith, he should of know he would do something about it. Actually Tom probably made this a small party so they could actually play drinking games and make this happen. He honestly wouldn’t put it past him, Tom was known for doing crazy over the top things and getting into trouble, usually with Sjin by his side. Ross took a deep breath in and used all the courage he had gained from the alcohol and moved closer to Smith and place a hand on his thigh.

“Nervous?”Ross’ voice came out way more confident than he really was and Smith looked at him shocked for a second before he grinned.

“Nope.”Ross moved his hand up so it was closer to Smith’s hip.

“Nervous?”Smith continued to grin.

“Not at all.”Ross moved his hand more slowly this time, bushing over Smith crotch, earning a ‘shit’ from Tom and resting the hand on Smith’s lower stomach.

“Nervous?”Smith’s grin didn’t falter for a second.

“Nope.”Not wanting to straight out touch Smith’s dick, Ross decided on another plan and shuffled forward and sat in Smith’s lap. Hand’s touch either side of Smith’s face.

“Nervous now?”Yet again Smith simply grinned at Ross.

“Nope.”A gasp was heard by someone, Ross wasn’t really paying attention to who. His full attention on the man whose lap he was in. Slowly he moved his face so his mouth was only an inch from Smith’s. Quietly he whispered.

“Nervous.”Smith’s grin turned into more of a soft smile as he whispered back.

“Nope.”Ross gave into his urges and connected their lips. He felt Smith’s arms run up and down his back, at one point somehow making their way under his shirt. The kiss kept growing deeper and deeper until Ross felt Smith’s tongue enter the equation. His tongue soon followed and they continued this way until they pulled apart for air. They sat their for a moment, Ross in Smith’s lap, just staring at each other’s swollen lips, want for more clearly on their faces until they were both pulled back to the present by Trott.

“Holy shit guys. That is the most intense nervous I have ever seen.”Ross quickly jumped off of Smith’s lap, his face burning red with embarrassment. Smith tried to grab his arm, but Ross shrugged him off. He wasn’t technically out to anyone, apart from Tom when he drunkenly confessed to him one night and he was worried what everyone would think. Sensing his panic, his own undoing came to his rescue.

“Holy shit Ross that looks like a fun way to kiss someone.”Everyone’s attention was drawn from Ross to Tom who upon knowing everyone was watching him, jumped over into Lewis’ lap and started kissing him much in the same way Ross and Smith kissed. Lewis, surprisingly to everyone, returned Tom’s kiss and the pair made out for even longer than Smith and Ross did. When Lewis and Tom pulled apart, Tom rested his forehead on Lewis’ and pecked him on the lips before moving back and turning to face the majority of the people in the room.

“I know you have all been curious as to why for the first time ever I have thrown a small party and only invited you lot. Well Lewis and I consider you all our closest friends and we wanted to let you all know that we are together. Well we have had a bit of a thing for a few months now, but we made the step to serious boyfriends about a month ago. And before you ask yes I am gay, but Lewis here is bi because apparently girls are nice or something, no offence ladies.”The women in the room simply rolled their eyes, but smiled none the less. Knowing full well Tom actually meant no offence.

Soon the circled crumbled as people moved closer to Tom and Lewis to ask them questions. Smith and Ross being the only two to not move a mussel.

“Hey, uh Ross?”Ross kept his head down as he replied to Smith.

“Yeah Smith?”Smith started fiddling with his fingers, a nervous sign Ross was not use to seeing the usually confident man do. He raised his head and met Smith’s eyes.

“Can we kiss again? But this time because we want to and not because of a game?”

Ross couldn’t believe what he was hearing, it was like all of his dreams were coming true. He grinned at Smith.

“Whose saying that I kissed you before because of the game and not because I wanted to?”Smith returned his grin.

“Well then, let’s kiss again anyway just to make sure.”Ross took back his stop on Smith’s lap and the two began kissing, only being noticed by Tom who leaned down to his own boyfriend and whispered.“Mission accomplished.”

Hot for Teacher - Chapter 1

'WELCOME TO NEWBURY COLLEGE! WHERE YOUR DREAMS ARE MADE INTO CAREERS AND YOUR ACADEMICAL GOALS ARE MET!' - Read the banner over the main entrance.

Lana signed up for classes in - Art, Music, Science, Drama, Math and English.

First class today was Math. The teacher was Mrs. Cunningham. She was a lady in maybe her 50s. Short and Polite.

Second Class was English Studies with Professor Miller.

Professor Miller...Lana scoffs at his name. He sounds like a old man she thought. She envisoned a moody old man with a walking stick, a vast collection of dull cardigans and baggy trousers. A full closet of Dullness.

Lana found herself lost, she was in the correct department for English but 3 different classes with 3 different teachers and all the doors were plain with no signs.

"Excuse me, do you know which of these rooms is Professor Miller's English Class please?"  she asks a janitor mopping up water from a leak in the roof. "Yes ma'am, It's the door with the Black door handle just behind you' He says pointing and she thanks him. She turns and runs towards the door he pointed at and tries to sneak in without being noticed by the professor for being late. Too late. She turns slowly and awkwardly when she hears a voice "You're Late!" with a hint of annoyance and when she turns fully around to face the class, everybody is looking at her confused but amused.

Professor Miller is looking down at his desk writing something and he looks up to look in the large mirror at the back of the room for a split second to look at Lana. "Are you the new girl? because i don't think i've seen you in this class before!" He says. "Yes. It's my first day today" She replies. He drops his pen and turns to her and asks her to introduce herself to the class. He found himself oddly intrigued too.

"Hi, I'm Lana Simons. I'm 20 and i joined this college to further my already learned skills from school and because i missed school near the end due to pageants i wanted to pursue a real career" She says nervously.

*Professor Miller's POV*

Looking down at the previous day's students work that you didn't get chance to mark up the night before, you hear the door squeak open and notice somebody try to sneak in to class. "You're Late" You say, with a annoyed tone as you continue what you were doing before you heard the sneaky student. "Are you the new girl? Because i don't think i've seen you in my classes before!" I say, even though i haven't even really looked at her. She replies just as im about finished "Yes. It's my first day today". I throw my pen down, put my foot up on my desk and lean back in my chair as i turn to her after i asked her to introduce herself to the class. I still don't see her properly but i find myself looking her up and down. *Damn it Adam, What the hell is wrong with you! You can't look at your students that way!* He thought and sighs to himself.

*No POV*

After Lana introduced herself to everyone, her professor asks her to go and take a seat. she takes a seat in the chair directly in front of his desk, puts her bag under the chair and hears girls snickering and one shouts "Did you say you skipped school for Pageants? What kind of Pageants? Are you like a beauty queen or was one because i don't think your all that pretty!" They laugh, asking Lana. She replies "I did Miss Teen USA when i was 17, I had Pageants to qualify for that and represent my home state of Florida so i had to travel for that so i missed a lot of school then but i still qualified in everything i wanted to...so yeah!" she pauses "and erm, whatever 'your name' is. I'd appreciate it if you'd keep me out of your pathetic attempts of bullying cause its certainly not gonna work on me. I might be a Miss Teen Winner 3 years ago, but that doesnt mean that i don't know how to kick somebodys ass!" She smiles towards them smugly and gets a pen and book from her bag. Professor Miller is back to writing something down but smirks to himself at Lana's comment to those girls and looks up at her briefly. He wanted to see her face. Lana catches the Professor looking at her, he finds himself embarassed that he got caught looking and looks down for a second but looks back up again to see her smiling at him slightly and he sighs. He thought she was unbelievably gorgeous but he had to shake that off because she is his student and he could get into trouble for thinking things like that about somebody he will be teaching.

Lana's POV

**First day and ive already got girls making sly comments and gossiping about me! I shouldnt have mentioned those damn pageants. The only seat available was directly in front of the Professors desk. I take out my notebook and pen ready for what we are studying today. I just happened to glance up and the Professor was looking at me. My cheeks started to flush, I dont even know why. He's got such a intense stare, it makes you feel uncomfortable but still i find myself blushing. He stands and talks to the class.

"In the coming months we will be working on some gothic stories coming upto halloween - Dracula, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Frankenstein...You get it! First story we will be working on is The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Does anybody know the story? Anybody read the novel?" The room stays silent. "Is that the story with the man and a monster?" someone speaks up. Everyone laughs. "No, thats not correct. Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde focuses on John Utterson, a lawyer and friend of Dr. Jekyll. The novel begins with John Utterson talking with his other friend, who has just witnessed an odd situation. A man identified as Edward Hyde ran over a girl, only to pay off her family later with a check from Dr. Jekyll. It's a very interesting story. I will have you all read the entire novel and you will have assigned chapters to read out to the class and there will be questions in between so be prepared for those!" says Professor Lewis. He turns to write on the whiteboard the title of the story and who will be reading what chapter. I find myself looking him up and down. He's not what i expected. He's way younger than i thought hed be. Hes probably not even 30. Tall, Shoulder length wavy black hair, Broad shoulders,  Intense brown eyes, Very serious, He's hot!!!! My professor is hot!!!! Help me!!! "Miss Simons, you will get chapter 6" He turned to look at me, catching me looking at his butt!! Oh lord swallow me whole pleaseeeeeeee!!! He smirked a little i just grinned at him like an idiot. He's going to think im a pervert and a freak.

****AFTER CLASS****

"Excuse me, Miss Simons" Professor Miller shouts me as im walking towards the exit still embarassed about earlier. Oh no! Is he going to shout at me for earlier. I walked towards his desk where he is sat at. "As you started my class late in the usual semester, you have missed out on a lot from the previous 6 months. if you have any chance at passing this class or any class in this college then you'll have to do a lot of extra work. Are you willing to do that Miss Simons. Now i could get into trouble for offering these as this college doesnt allow that sort of thing but im willing to give you extra classes until you catch up in my English Class. I can do from 4-7. Is that suitable for you?"  He says. Phew! He didnt mention me staring at his butt. "Erm thank you. Yes that would be great. Thank you so much! Ill catch up in no time" I say. "No problem. Im taking time out of my personal life to do this so please dont let me down and i expect you to be here on time everyday." he says and I nod "Yes ill be here. I promise. Thanks again" I smiled. He smiles at me. Omg his smile is killer. He should smile more often "No problem. We'll start them from tommorow night as i have things on tonight. Dont be late to class tommorow either please" He replies and I nod again like a idiot "Yeah. Bye Professor"

**Professor. Lewis POV**

After my class, i pulled the new girl to one side. What was her name again. Ah yes! Lana Simons. I offered her extra lessons. i could get into trouble for that but it was a way to help her catch up and selfishly i wanted to spend some one on one time with her. I cant help it. I have Olivia but she has already cheated on me once already. I just know someday she will do it again. I just know it! When she does, i wont give her another chance even though i love her.
