Just watched Twisters-

and you instantly know who the love interest is when they look like Dean and survive a near miss with the protagonist xd

#i'm pretty happy with that movie #like- it was super tense at moments and light at others #which is what I think some movies do wrong #they dont give emotional breaks #or the audience time to process #and maybe that's the point- but if it is #it's overused #and I feel happier with Twisters because I got those little moments #in between #And I'm happy with the ship funnily enough #because it feels earned #like. He never interacted with her in a not friend way #it was just implied at the end #which makes me really happy #because it gave them room to actually have a #well. not a dynamic actually #yes a dynamic?#they HAD a dynamic like they showed them talking #It just wasnt on fire #but yo what I'm fine with that too #The most important thing was that the ending was hopeful #because honestly if the movie isnt a warning #then NOT having a hopeful ending makes it a nothing #there's no point in no hope #It's not even a sequel!!!#or. it technically is but it's a completely different story #A STANDALONE???#I KNOW #Twisters #as a non movie watcher I am very happy with this movie

Also, there is so much hand-wringing over the ethics of BDSM and while obviously it is worth taking care about ...sensation seeking is a thing.
