RWRB Musical Ramble Part 3: Jukebox Musical

yes I'm back on this MWAHAHAHAHAHA

I’m also wondering if RWRB would work as a Jukebox musical (a musical using pop songs instead of original songs, our darling Nicholas has already starred in a, with all due respect, not that good one: Cinderella 2021)

That way we can keep some of the amazing song choices in the movie: If I Loved You, Get Low, Can’t Help Falling in Love With You. Plus with RWRB being a modern fairy tale and stuff maybe straight-up using pop songs would work better with the entire tone of the show/movie

But like, certain scenes/moments/songs from & Juliet and Moulin Rouge (ok these are the only two jukebox musicals I’ve listen to so far) could work for RWRB (yes I’m realizing this is more me finding musical songs that work for RWRB than anything but sue me)

“I Kissed a Girl/Boy” from & Juliet/ Katy Perry would work well for the entire Red Room -> Hook Up -> Polo Scene, granted RWRB would be more intense than what’s in & Juliet since our boys are doing… a little more than kissing :)

“Whataya want from me” also from & Juliet/ Adam Lambert, even from the same ship, can work for the Kensington Confrontation

This is less direct, but parts of “Elephant Love Medley” from Mouline Rouge, more distinctly in the Broadway show version, Santine sings about how love is not something she believes in while Christian sings about how he wants love with her. The idea of a love medley can work with Firstprince too, maybe during the Paris date or the lake scene: Henry not believing he can have love while Alex wanting to tell Henry that he’s in love with him. Plus Your Song (and Can't Help Falling in Love, briefly, in the broadway show version) makes an appearance :D (Even though personally I think Can't Help Falling in Love fits Firstprince more)

A lot of us talk about how Taylor Swift-coded Firstprince is, and it’s true (and I personally love it), but in a jukebox musical, the TS songs can be directly used: personally think Labyrinth would be fitting for where If I Love you is in the film, but having Henry sing it, especially since the first verse fits the imagery of Henry holding his aching heart under the water so well (sorry I can't find the freaking gif) :

Yes, a line Alex said in Save vs. Magic’s OTP <3 It is kinda annoying to have to go through the other Jalex’s stuff when looking online for WOWP Jalex content.. like why 😭 but in reality the ‘Jalex WOWP’ tag works just fine. i strongly believe that in like at least 90% of every disney show, the show just goes downhill after season 3

for example, liv and maddie: cali style. one of my friends on instagram who has a liv and maddie account doesn’t post about season 4 because she hates it. she even has a pinned post of a small set of reasons why she hates it so much (and understandably so.) i mean, the dad left the show, diggie and maddie are together, they’re not in stevens point, wisconsin anymore? i like dina and ruby, don’t get me wrong, but like, cali style was so so bad

another example, someone’s going to crucify me for this one, is austin and ally. growing up, i had a HUGE crush on ross/austin, and for a bit, i hated the ship auslly. a few years later, i made a whole fanpage for auslly. now, i still like ross and A&A, but as for the ship, i’m neutral. anyway, in season 4, sonic boom changed to A&A music factory, austin’s hair was long?? EW? and it just wasn’t as enjoyable as seasons 1-3. also jace and trish didn’t end up together, excuse me? idk man i just never really liked season 4 of A&A

jessie is probably the only exception to this. all 4 seasons of jessie i loved.

hannah montana is also debatable. again with the ex’s, jake was in the picture (thank the GODS she and him didn’t end up together, i would have thrown hands). i like them being in a different place, i like lily living with them, but i do miss the old house they used to live in, and especially rico’s little shop (or whatever it’s called.)

did suite life on deck make it to 4 seasons? i don’t even remember

wizards of waverly place i think had a good season 4, especially the finale. i like the fact that mason and alex ended up together, juliet and justin ended up together, and both justin and alex got to keep their powers. i feel like max deserved more than the sub station but he did seem ecstatic about that i won’t complain

this one’s gonna hurt me like hell, but, lab rats. you guys know i love this show. it’s my favorite, it’s my comfort show, but i’m not gonna lie, i try to avoid bionic island when i’m watching it. it’s just not as fun as the other seasons. like, tasha isn’t really there, sometimes douglas is there more than donald, sebastian is there (yes this is a sebastian and sebase slander page), they started to make chase more annoying, and they’re not in mission creek anymore. i just think that season 4 of lab rats is my least favorite. i even like elite force better, and we all know how badly they wrote elite force

your post about sibling ships mentioning justin and alex from wizards of waverly place just unlocked some childhood memory of me shipping them and getting disappointed when alex got that werewolf boyfriend (was he a werewolf? i don't even remember anymore) and justin dated that blonde witch girl. yes i know they were siblings in the show but they had better chemistry and i was rooting for them the entire time lol

Wizards of Waverly Place is so funny because they kept doing explicitly romantic tropes for Alex and Justin??? They have a movie where everyone except Alex loses their memories and their parents try to SET THEM UP ON A DATE. Like how are we supposed to react to that other than shipping them???

Mason and Juliet (she was a vampire, not a witch) were two of the weirdest love interests possible and it bemuses me that they're apparently Justin and Alex's final love interests? It honestly a bit like, post-movie, the writers were scrambling to hide the incest vibes lmao

Reggie likes to think that he's been doing a pretty good job of hiding his feelings.

It helps that he's always been a bit of a flirt, so no one really takes him seriously on that front. It's a great way to deflect.

So long as he uses the right tone, especially when paired with a grin or a wink, nobody even bats an eye.

Which is good, because if anyone found out that he's crushing on everyone's favorite couple, he thinks he'd die—either of embarrassment or a public execution.

But it's fine. He's been doing just fine.

If he gets caught staring, he can play it off like he was zoned out. And if the feelings want to spill over into a few extra touches or several stanzas of pining poetry, well—his friends are a pretty cuddly bunch, anyway, and no one really reads his songs unless he bugs them about it.

The only problem is—

They're both being really sweet to him all of a sudden, and he doesn't know how to handle it. He wants to soak up their affection like sunshine but also maybe to melt into the floorboards. It's maddening.

It doesn't help that they're currently all cooped up in a fairly small dressing room.

"Quit messing with your hair, Reg," Luke says, snatching Reggie’s hand out of it.

He spins him around to study him better, clutching Reggie’s shoulders as he does so like it's nothing. His eyes are earnest when they lock on Reggie’s, but they're also bright with something else that makes Reggie’s stomach squirm as Luke hums.

"Seriously, leave it, it looks good like that."

And Reggie's face starts to catch fire.

He bats Luke away and hunches into the mirror, glad that he'd at least grabbed Reggie by the shoulders and not the jaw.

"Thanks, but—"

Alex cuts in as Reggie flounders, never one to miss an opportunity to roast Luke.

"Why would anyone trust your opinion on hair? You look like Justin Bieber, usually."

Luke squawks. "I do not! Julie—"

She sighs like this gig can't start soon enough, and Reggie has to agree. He presses his forehead into the cool glass of the mirror and wills his blush to recede.

Still, her sigh is followed by the soft sound of a soothing kiss, and she says, "You do, sometimes, a little bit. But it works for you."

Luke lets out a victorious HA, but Alex interrupts again, sounding smug.

"Okay, but she's already your girlfriend, so she's biased. Her opinion doesn't count."

Reggie rushes to say something before Luke can wheel on him again.

"Water is wet, Luke is hot even with Justin Bieber hair. Why don't we stop arguing so Julie has time to finish her makeup?"

She sends him a grateful smile in the mirror, and he busies himself by fussing with his hair some more as a bit of pink starts to creep back into his cheeks.

Goodness knows he can't look at either of them right this second, especially Luke.

He startles when Julie touches his arm.

"Reggie, are you alright?"

"Yeah," he says automatically, swallowing a nervous little laugh. "Why wouldn't I be?"

She shrugs. "You seem extra fidgety."

"Hoping to impress someone?" Luke asks.

Reggie chews his lip. "I guess that's it."

"Hey." Julie squeezes his arm. "You're wonderful, Reggie. As a bassist but also just in general. And Luke is right. You already look great, okay? If they aren't impressed, they aren't worth your time."

Well, fuck.

He can't flirt his way out of this one.

Why do they have to be so—so—

"I think you broke Reggie," Alex snarks, which brings him crashing back to earth.

Oh, he's so screwed.

His whole face is fire engine red.

Julie frowns. "I was just being honest!"

Yes! That. That is the problem.

Luke inches back over, smirking as he drapes his arm around Reggie’s shoulders.

"I've never seen you so flustered. It's cute."

Reggie groans. He buries his face in his hands, but Julie actually comes to his rescue. He vaguely hears and feels her reaching around him to swat at Luke.

"Stop it, Luke, you're embarrassing him."

There's a weighted pause.

And then she quietly adds, "But he's right."

Reggie slowly lowers his hands.

"What—what does that mean?"

She and Luke exchange a soft look that reignites the fire under Reggie’s skin.

They're interrupted by the call that they'll be on in five, and Julie really has to scramble to finish her makeup then, but that might be for the best, given that Alex looks like he'd rather not be trapped in this tiny room with them for this conversation.

They smile at him sheepishly, and he rolls his eyes as he ushers them out the door, but he can't hide a smile of his own, no better than Reggie could hide his blush.

And Bright has never sounded better.

Chapter Forty-Nine The Lull Before The Storm

The food was proving to be very popular. (As were the floating lanterns, Kylie had to set up more stands at each beach party and recruit her friends to man them. She was making a killing.) So popular, that they had to get more supplies as the days went on. Loretta complained about having to go to Jorvik City to shop, but Lily just gave her a look. Loretta had volunteered for that part of the food.

That wasn’t all Loretta complained about. Justin and Alex also happened to be her next complaint. Loretta was trying to be the better person. Alex was just a phase. Justin would get over and come back to Loretta. Loretta loved him and always had.

Lily exploded. “You two were never together for him to come back to you.”

Loretta looked taken aback.

Lily took a deep breath. “Loretta, you’ve known Justin for a long time now. If anything was going to happen, it would have happened already.”

“You’re saying I don’t have a chance against Alex.”

“I’m saying that if you love him, truly love him, you’ll want him to be happy. Even if him being happy takes him away from you and to Alex.” Lily raised a brow at Loretta.

Loretta frowned. “But I want him to be happy with me?”

“Loretta, are you really in love with Justin? Or are you in love with the idea of Justin? Or even the idea of love?”

“We’re perfect for each other!”

“How?”

Loretta sputtered and rattled off a few superficial things about their riding capabilities, their looks, how they could be the Moorland riding power couple and win the Claymore Challenge and so on and so forth. Plus, Catherine Moorland had done the books like Loretta was doing now.

“That says nothing about Justin as a person.”

Loretta blinked. “What does that have to do with it?”

“Ohkay, your character is severely deficient. You aren’t bad, Loretta. You’re shallow. You don’t love Justin. You love the idea of being popular and being on top. You can be popular and on top by yourself. You don’t need Justin for that. You just need to be nice.”

Loretta looked at her blankly.

“You need to stand for something. Because right now, you don’t stand for anything at all. You don’t have any substance. You don’t care about Moorland Stables for more than it can give you, which is a tiny amount of power. The same goes for Justin, because he’s a symbol of the stables.”

“I don’t like you.”

“Mutual.”

The last day of the party came far too quick. A huge crowd gathered on the beach at the Dews Farm in Epona.

Maya had managed to drag her family from the Forgotten Fields for the event. Everyone was there, all the corporate sponsors, the Baroness. Even the Winterwell family and the Buttergoods had deigned to show up. The Li Family was hugging the Dews and chiding them for running off without explaining the situation to anyone.

Luciana had invited Ms. Drake of G.E.D. to come to Epona. She didn’t want Amelia’s cover blown.

Amelia and her club were making sure to not stick out in the crowd by wearing hats, sunglasses, and civilian style clothing they’d picked up over the week.

The atmosphere was jubilant.

Ms. Drake was brought up to the stage to join Luciania (proudly decked out in her Flying Fox Dressage Uniform), the Dew Family, Baroness Silverglade, and Baron Winterwell. The blonde woman in her sharp blue suit didn’t look pleased.

Not that the Baroness cared. She smiled sweetly at the younger woman. “Ms. Drake, on behalf of the Dew Family Race Challenge Sponsors and Event staff, we wish to present to you this money on the behalf of the Dew Family to cover their loans including interest towards the G.E.D. with the understanding that in taking this money that their debt to you is clear and their land is their own again.”

The crowd waited with bated breath as Luciana stepped forward with huge check to her.

Ms. Drake surveyed those on the stands and the crowd. She had no choice and been outmaneuvered. “I accept it gladly on behalf of the G.E.D.” she said her tone conveying that she wasn’t glad at all.

“This is the woman who sent a Rainbow Week card to herself,” Lily muttered.

Regina elbowed her.

Luciana handed the check over.

The crowd cheered.

Mrs. Dew burst into tears as her husband wrapped his arms around her to rock her back and forth.

Luciana grabbed another check.

“Mr. Dew,” the Baroness said kindly. “Not only were we able to raise enough money to cover your debts. We have enough to help you re-establish you in your rightful home.”

Luciana held the check out to them.

Mr. Dew took it with shaking hands. “I, I, don’t know what to say. You,” he gulped. “You didn’t have to do any of this. This is beyond any helped we cared to dream for our foolish actions.”

The Baroness sniffed.

“Thank you,” Mrs. Dew said hoarsely slapping her husband’s arm. “What he means is thank you.”

A group of girls ran up the stage. “Mr. Dew, Mrs. Dew,” they said together.

“We can help you. We want to be the riding club at your lovely farm,” they said. “Please?”

Mr. Dew looked overwhelmed.

Another group bounced up and down. “And we know animals, Mr. Dew. We can help at the other farm!”

The Baroness’ lips twitched. “What do you say, Matthew? I can tell you from experience these girls once they get the bit in their teeth give it their all and will do more than you ever thought possible. They also aren’t going to take no for an answer.”

Mrs. Dew beamed.

Mr. Dew swallowed hard. “We’d be honored to have help.”

The girls cheered jumping up and down. They smacked hands and hugged.

“Astro Monkeys!”

“Snoop Dogz!”

“Go!”

The Baroness leaned over. “I think the phrase is, roll with it.”

Mrs. Dew burst into laughter.

“All right everybody,” DJ Kai said through her microphone. “It’s time to celebrate!” She turned up the music. “Everybody dance now!”

It was an auspicious end to an auspicious week.

It didn’t take quite as long to take the decorations down as it had the last time during Rainbow Week. They were figuring out the routine. Everyone had so much fun with the Dew Family Race Challenge that there was talk of making it a permanent part of the Midsummer Beach Party.

Mr. Dew and Mrs. Dew were all right with that, but they were going to find some charities to give the money to instead of keeping it for themselves. The Astro Monkeys and the Snoop Dogz were working hard on cleaning up and opening up the two different farms.

“Not that they’re going to sell any horses,” Pauline said. “They don’t have the money to invest in stock like that right now.”

“I think we have enough options to choose from,” Lily rolled her eyes. She leaned against the fence and rubbed her neck. “Well, now what?”

Tyra leaned against the other side kicking her foot up lazily. “Agnetha says that we can’t put in the gardens for the race track until it’s done. And that looks like it won’t be done until after Happy Horse Week.”

“Which we need to plan for,” Lily said.

“Right. It’s a big event, but a completely different type of event,” Pauline nodded. “We celebrate Jorvik’s horses and Jorvik’s founding by Jon Jarl.”

Lily snorted. “As long as we aren’t celebrating that blowhard.”

Pauline’s brow furrowed. “How do you, no, never mind. I don’t want to know.”

“Jorvik Stables always has an open house.”

“Right, and we’re expanding that for every stable in the county.” Lily nodded.

“All the races are special races to show off the eventing capabilities of the county horses,” Pauline spun the shovel by the handle.

“Maybe we should do something educational? Like, do a lunging event while someone gives a talk about the history of the Jorvik Warmblood Sport,” Lily toed the ground with her boot.

“Ohhh, good idea,” Tyra nodded. She reached over and slapped Pauline’s shoulder. “Notes.”

“We’re going to need horse themed decorations,” Lily cracked her neck. “And we’ll need a cross country style event. Did we ever set up your races around Grape Mountain?”

“Nope,” Pauline popped her lips.

“Hmm, sorry.”

Pauline grinned. “We’ve been super busy, you know.”

“It’s important to you. So, thus, I’m sorry. Okay, a lunge event in the paddock to talk about the Jorvik Warmblood Sports, a dressage event and a showjumping event in the Riding Arena.”

“Since we have one.”

“And then we’ll set up some special cross country races around the Manor that won’t interfere with the Rose Garden Trail Ride too much, I hope.”

“At Jorvik Stables, they give beginning riding lessons.”

“We can use the Rose Garden Trail Ride for that then,” Lily waved her hands. “I take it this is going to be more hands on.”

“We can rotate shifts,” Pauline said her fingers flying over her phone as she leaned against the shovel.

“We’ll have to take pictures for Jorvikgram, and have a lost and found.”

Lily nodded.

“Moorland usually has another big feast and a huge cake,” Pauline said. “And we hide Golden Horse shoes all over the county.”

“And there’s the Light Ride over in Cape West.”

“We should do that together as a Club and include Linda and Alex,” Lily said.

They nodded.

“Okay, but this is in August and it’s June now.” Lily stretched her foot. “What are we going to do until then? I mean, we’re suddenly bereft of things to do and I don’t want to step on any toes by interfering with the other club’s domains.”

Tyra and Pauline just gave her looks down their noses.

“I like keeping busy.”

Tyra snorted.

Pauline raised a brow. “We could, I don’t know, train our green horses for the Claymore Challenge.”

Lily blinked. “Oh, right,” she blushed. “Um, how does one go about that?”

“Well,” Tyra drawled. “We have to earn ribbons.”

“There are three areas to the county,” Pauline said. “And every area has their events. In order to qualify for the Claymore Challenge, you need to beat a certain number of events in what they call the gold medal time.”

“I mean, for faults for showjumping it’s by not making any mistakes and under a certain time.”

Lily licked her lips. “So, we travel around the county earning ribbons and training our horses and if we have enough we make it to the Claymore Challenge?”

“Herman keeps track of it.”

“Or he’s supposed to,” Tyra muttered.

“We should um, make a route,” Lily scratched her head. “And a schedule so we don’t over extend the horses. Does that make sense?”

Pauline laughed. “Total sense,” she nudged Lily.

“Then let’s adjourn to the library and figure this out,” Lily rubbed her hands together.

They laughed and sent a text about a club meeting to the rest of the girls.

They were spending their time training around Jorvik for a couple hours each day and that meant they could check in with the other clubs, ask if they needed anything, or pitch in if the others seemed overwhelmed. Most the other clubs were doing the same. It was the Northern Golden Hills Valley, Firfall, and the Dews Farms that were rushing around trying to get things ready to show by Happy Horse Week.

They were grateful for the help.

It felt like a lull though before, something. No one was sure what. A shoe to drop, a storm. Something was coming.

Lily rode about with Alex to check the rune stones sometimes. Alex’s mother wasn’t doing so hot. She needed therapy and probably meds. Both of which were hard to get her.

“It’s why we all try so hard,” Alex sighed. “But she doesn’t want to accept the help.”

“You can’t force her. She has to want to do it. That’s the difficult thing. All you can do is love her and be there for her when she needs it,” Lily said.

“Are you speaking from personal experience?”

Lily shrugged. “I’ve seen it a lot growing up.”

“You don’t like to talk about it.”

“You don’t like talking about your childhood either.”

“Growing up poor on the wrong side of Jorvik City,” Alex snorted. “You don’t need to hear about that.”

Lily glanced over. “Alex, I’m a military brat. I’m lucky if I stay in a school two years. Stable doesn’t exactly describe my life and the towns that grow up around military bases aren’t known to be the safest.”

Alex’s eyes widened. “Woah. I mean, I guess I should have guessed or, I dunno.”

“By what? My love of legalism. My tendency to take charge, have schedules, or the love of mystery books and bad cop shows?” Lily laced her voice with sarcasm. “Dad’s an MP. Mom’s a nurse and works the military hospitals so that she’ll at least always have employment wherever dad is deployed. I’m lucky. They’re still together and don’t cheat. At least, as far as I know, they don’t.”

“The book thing?”

“You never know what you’re going to find drifting around a military base,” Lily shrugged a shoulder.

Alex turned back to the rune stone and concentrated taking the energy into herself. “Sorry, I assumed too much.”

“Because we don’t like to talk about it and most my clothes I’ve picked up here,” Lily rolled her eyes. “No offense taken, Alex.”

Alex finished with the stone. “I wish she’d get help.”

“She’s an adult,” Lily said. “And we teenagers aren’t supposed to be the ones with all the common sense.”

“Since when were we ever teenagers,” Alex drawled.

Lily nodded.

They rode in companionable silence.

“Thanks for listening, it helps.”

“Hey, if you can’t rant at me about Elizabeth, your crazy siblings, and your mother, who can you rant to? Linda? Maya? Justin?”

Alex huffed. “All right. All right. I get it.”

“Thanks for trusting me,” Lily nodded at her. “That means a lot. I mean, we weren’t predisposed to liking each other back when we first met.”

“I was worried you might be a stuck up like Loretta,” she paused. “Or Anne.”

“And I thought you were being a bit too hard and dismissive of your brother,” Lily sighed.

“As long as you didn’t think I was as conniving as he was!” Alex widened her eyes.

They both laughed.

“He’s a little shit,” Lily said. “But, he’s getting better.”

“Having his own horse that doesn’t take any excuses, helps a lot,” Alex grinned. “He adores that horse.”

“You think that they’re going to have all the hunting stuff ready for Happy Horse Week.”

“Definitely,” Alex nodded. “He’s even got these cute horse and dragon plushies on order.”

“I think the girls that like spiders have found most the babies,” Lily shuddered. “And tagged them with a GPS chip and IFRD chip tag, or whatever that acronym is. Just, no thank you.”

“The three of them are pretty driven about all these hunts,” Alex stretched out her legs. “All for the good, I think. It will give people who love exploring the area something to do and search for.”

Lily nodded.

Alex’ phone buzzed. She lit up in a huge grin. “Justin’s off work. See yah!”

Lily laughed. “Later alligator,” she called after Alex. She rolled her eyes. At least that seemed to be working out.

i definitely think andi mack would be really fun. i can just imagine the kids like accidentally stumbling into the boiling isles. andi and luz seem like they would get along really well. it would be nice for luz to have more human friends, and gus would be fascinated with all of them. willow would have fun showing them her plant magic. and andi would definitely want to learn some of the glyph spells. i think cyrus would just be really fascinated to see witches exist and perhaps be taking notes for a film script he will write when he gets home. buffy would be great at grudgby, could definitely see a rivalry between her and boscha. could see marty playing grudgby too! jonah, amber, and tj would probably just want to go back to the real world. and of course all of them would just adore king because look at his cute little face!! so for descendants, i think i'd prefer it to be with the owl house characters in the descendants universe in auradon. amity would be a princess and probably best friends with audrey, jane, and lonnie. luz can be a vk, maybe the daughter of the horned king (and king could be her half brother awww) and she comes to auradon with the core four. she wants to rescue her mom from the isle because her father is cruel to her. eda and lilith would be split up, eda on the isle and lilith in auradon as a high ranking official in king ben's court. willow and gus would be aks and both very welcoming to the new kids. gus is fascinated with vks and wants to learn everything about them. same sort of character journey where willow learns she doesn't have to do what her parents expect of her. honestly, there's just so much that could be done with this crossover! i also feel like wizards of waverly place would work very well. alex, justin, and max could have slightly pointed ears and their mom would be fully human. the wizard world would just be the boiling isles, and they would go back and forth between them. there would be no competition for family wizard, but the kids would constantly have coven leaders trying to recruit them. and ooh if they were at hexside, justin could be in the beast keeper track, would fit well with his monster hunting arc. i could see max in the abomination track, and he just uses his abominations to do his chores and bring him snacks lol. of course alex would be the one who wanted to do all the kinds of magic and not join a coven at all. she and eda would get along really well. i can totally see her like grafitiing hexside and going to train with eda and luz lol dang. that was a really good question. had a lot of fun with that one, thanks! oh, and i do have a question for you too! who are your favorite characters and/or ships from andi mack?      Do the names Zach and Alex ring a bell? In fact, I have not stopped thinking about how these two fools were so beautifully set up to be the best couple in the show since that horrid day of June 5, 2020. Listen, I love Charlie, he’s my bi baby, but it’s like his only personality trait is baking and annoying Alex. Like Alex literally said the words “If I say yes will these stop” in response to Charlie’s promposals. I have been an avid Zalex shipper since 2018, so you can imagine my disappointment towards the wasted potential we were dealt with this season. First of all, Zach did not teach Alex how to slow dance in season two just for them to not slow dance together at prom?? Did Ross Butler get into a fight with the writers or something, because why all that build up for NOthing? Can we also talk about how Alex murdered someone because they threatened Zach’s life? Can we also talk about how Alex almost drowned alone in season one, while in season four Zach saves him from drowning in the lake. The writers really had us thinking they were gonna kiss again, but then the scene just arbutedly ends? Can we talk about how Zach had to leave a room because Alex and Charlie were there? Maybe we can talk about how Zach is “not” in love with Alex, even though Alex was the one to break away from the kiss while Zach had his eyes closed with a dreamy look on his face. Ooh, I always love thinking about how Alex had no problem having Zach help him back in his cane days, but when Tony and Clay made an effort to walk his way to see if he needed help it cursed them out. We can also talk about the “Why are you with me and not with Charlie?” scene because I wonder why Zach would get so angry at his “best friend” hanging out with him like that if there was not more behind it. We can have the discussion of how Alex literally confessed his love to Zach in front of his boyfriend, with Zach adding in “it was a nice kiss” while staring Charlie down cuz that’s some funny bf shit. Actually, maybe we should be talking about how Charlie literally laughed when Monty told him Alex tried to kill himself and Zach had to step in. Yes, it makes sense for Charlie to laugh considering Monty’s is a scary little shit. Speaking of Monty, can we talk about how his gaydar was on point? Now I’m not one to brag, but I too both called Monty and Alex not being straight since season one, but let’s not get off track here. Monty called Alex a word that I am not gonna repeat in this essay for obvious reasons, but he also referred to Alex as Zach’s boyfriend. Again, I’m a big Charlie St. George fan, but when he smiled to alex at prom, my mans deadass said out loud “I’ll never be happy”. Like?? Anyways, maybe we can talk about how Alex started describing Zach when he was talking to the webcam girl. The more obvious shit being when Alex literally got a boner after trying to drop kick Zach, when was in the middle of a fight and stopped to help Alex up, or how Zach asks to hang out with Alex every 2108318 seconds. Or how Winston starts rambling on about why he’s in love with Alex and Zach goes like “yeah…”. We can also have the discussion about how, now this one is my favorite folks, Zach literally looked like he wanted to die when Charlie and Alex were holding hands at Monet’s. The moral of the story, is that there are many conversations to be had about Zach and alex. All in all, It just does not make sense for Zach and alex to go through what they did just for some random ass cookie generator boy to ruin it. I do have to admit, the prom scene made many many points, but it shouldve been ZACH!1!1 Ultimately, the only thing I got out of season four was that Alex settled for someone else because he thought Zach did not feel the same, when in reality, Zach had only realized he did too late.

     The next and final reason why this show has ruined my life is because of Justin foley. Do I even have to explain this one? Zach and Alex at least have potential to get together in the future, while Justin is gone forever. Fictional deaths are usually sad for me in general. I will usually tear up, maybe shed a tear or two, but for Justin mf Foley, I sobbed. I sobbed for the person that had the best character development known to man. I sobbed for the person that was homeless, lost himself to drugs, to then find his people and his happiness.  I don’t want to talk too much about his death because we all know how sad that was. Justin survived so much. Not only did he have to watch himself struggle because of drugs, he had to watch his mom to do so. His character development is the best I have ever seen. In particular, his development with Clay. Justin went from wanting him dead in season one, to calling him his brother in season four. The scene where Clay says goodbye to Justin especially hurts because it shows how Clay has learned how important it is to tell the people you love that you love them while they are still here. He almost died thinking that he had ruined Jess’ life. He knew he wasn’t feeling well on prom night, but still went for Jess. His and Jess’ relationship had always been a favorite of mine. They were at times on and off again, but you always knew they would ultimately end up together. Justin’s life was finally starting to go good for him. He had a family that loves him and he was going to college, and then his mother died and he relapsed. Justin Foley deserved to live a happy life in college, with Jess and Clay, with his best friend Zach, etc. He deserved a happy ending, period. And don’t even get me started on the scene where Clay reads Justin’s college letter. They both saved each others lives at one point or another, and who would have thought it would end like this. “He’s the reason I’m alive in the first place to write this essay because he’s my good influence. He’s my brother” is a scene that perfectly describes the sobbing chef’s kiss emoji. But enough with the sad because Justin Foley lived. While he knew what it was like to truly feel alone and helpless in this world, he also knew what it was like to feel loved and wanted. 

     All I wanted out of season four was zalex endgame and Justin’s happiness and looks where we’re at now. While all we have is Justin’s memory,  we still have Zalex’s future. All I’m saying is it cannot be a coincidence that Zach is the football coach with alex being at every football game due to Charlie. These bitches are fucking in the lockerooms, I just know it! No, but really, I am very hopeful for zalex college spin off. I mean hey, a Justin resurrection couldn’t hurt either. To end this essay I leave you with two words: what is the best ship and character from 13rw and why is it zalex and Justin?

the end was very predictable and i pretty much already knew halfway through the movie what was gonna happen. but it still was quite thrilling and I did enjoy watching it

I really enjoyed watching this. yeah sure, the ending was obvious but I was still glued to the screen. I also felt super weird watching this, kinda surreal because we are basically living a more harmless version of this rn. I really liked seeing sofia carson in such a movie, I’ve only seen her in the descendants so this was a bit of a change haha. I’m not that big of a fan of kj but he was great as well and i really loved his characters style.

I put it on because I wanted to have some background noise while playing sims but I ended up playing like 20 minutes and then just watching the movie haha I forgot how good it was, and the others as well, aaand I totally forgot carl urban was in it, so that was a little surprise. anyways, can recommend watching them if you’re into sci-fi action movies but at the same time, if you’re into that I’m pretty sure you’ve already watched them.

okay... I did enjoy watching it! the beginning was a little slow imo but then it just got more and more intense which was kinda nice. god, at some point the main guy kept making the wrong decisions and that was very frustrating to watch. the ending was alright, spoiler ahead (I guess) I would have liked the ending more if it was the exact same as the beginning, meaning that the movie is just one big time loop and the events from the movie were about to repeat themselves. but that's just my opinion🤷🏻‍♀️

Set in the year 2092 and follows the crew of a space junk collector ship called The Victory. When they discover a humanoid robot named Dorothy that's known to be a weapon of mass destruction, they get involved in a risky business deal.

I really loved this movie. I cried like 6 times haha, which came unexpected. (or maybe it's because I'm suppose to get my period any day now) I did not think I was going to enjoy this movie as much as I did, at all. it was fun, it was exciting, it was sad (even my dad said that) the plot was good, the visual effects were amazing, it did feel like I was watching this movie for like 5 hours but not in a bad way and I am now kinda emotionally attached to the characters haha (I might do a rewatch). another thing I really liked was the language/synchronization. in the original version they speak mostly korean and english but also some other languages and it's the same in the synchronizations. the dialogue of the main characters is in the language you pick but every other character (I guess) is a different language and I absolutely love that. I highly recommend watching this!!

also, its was super weird seeing Richard Armitage not as a dwarf hahaha

I binged the series the other day and after the last episode this movie was in the "watch next" thingy idk and I thought "well, why not" and watched it. good movie, definitely!! I really liked that they didn't show the highs of doing heroin but focused on the negative effects it has on someone and what it's doing to your body. it is a super realistic but very very dark movie. the actors were all about 15/16 years old and looked very young which was a good and kinda disturbing thing because christiane and her friend were like 13/14 when that all happened and it made you realise that there were kids doing all that stuff

I am tired and don't really want to say all that much other than both of them are very good and I do like them. good action/adventure movies. can definitely recommend them. I definitely like the first one more because it feels like (just a little bit) that the main story in the second one is the same as in the first one, someone creates a new dinosaur species to make more money and something goes terribly wrong along the way. but it's still entertaining!

She gives me her wand and instructs me to put the rock in front of the sun rune and then wave the wand. Cool

Witches seem to have appeared out of nowhere and are throwing potions at me. Now it’s time to do the scarecrow race we all know and love. I did not take any more pictures because I was too busy failing the race like 3 times. I’m so used to the Halloween one where you can get hit and it just slows you down. Here you fail the race if you get hit lol

I made it to Alex eventually tho, don’t worry. She called us heroes for getting the apple and told me to bring it to Pi

She can’t resist the apple, no matter how hard she tries, and now she’s no longer evil

The only thing that changed is that she’s no longer green lol

She apologized for all the trouble she caused and told us she was meant to corrupt Justin’s horse to make it a Dark Horse. There’s three other horses she’s already done this to, Justin’s horse is the forth. Also she was supposed to give the newly corrupted horse back tomorrow at the same dock we watched Justin sail away from. The horse is to be taken to an oil rig off in the ocean.

So I told Alex all that and she said we gotta intercept this meeting, pretend to be the person dropping off the corrupted horse, and sneak on board Dark Core’s oil rig. We’ll need back up in case we need a quick get away, so I had to go ask the captain if he’ll help.

He said yes of course he owes me. That’s cool dude, I’ve literally never spoken to you before. Must be a side quest I haven’t done yet lol

Anyways he’s gonna follow behind the dark core boat and be the get away driver if we need one. He gave me a flair and did a lot of bragging about how stealth he can be and yet....

Sir your ship is quite obvious. This is the opposite of stealth.

Now we wait for Dark Core to show up tomorrow. Honestly I remember struggling to get past this quest for a long time when I did it on my main. I hope it’s not as hard for me now lol
