Naboo Founder Queen Elsinoré den Tasia

Queen Elsinoré den Tasia ruled the planet Grizmallt beginning around 3950 BBY. She sponsored numerous colonization expeditions throughout her reign, including one that led to the Human occupation of the Renatasia system. Many of the expeditions failed, and around 3900 BBY, Tasia sponsored the last of those expeditions, which was carried out by three colony ships; the Beneficent Tasia, Constant, and Mother Vima (They are seen flying on the right. As images of three colony ships did not survived, they were presented as a look-alike of the J-type 327 Nubian royal starship. We can also see hologram of Naboo system and ships on the left.) Tasia died shortly afterward, wishing the ships would find a home in her final moments. The ships would later land on the planet Naboo, which the colonists inhabited, becoming known as the Naboo.

The current style of Naboo dresses and facial adornments pay homage to the regalia of Queen Tasia of Grizmallt, and to whom some Naboo claim to be able to trace an unbroken ancestry. As Naboo and Grizmallt fashion were similar, Tasia was presented in a costume wore by one of Naboo queens. They are black, as if saying that she didn't live long enough to see Naboo by herself.

Behind the Queen, we can also see a graphic of a solar system on the wall to additionally show that she promoted cosmic expansion.

One is known for sure - without her, the planet Naboo would have never been discovered and its rich culture would have never existed.

oh, great question <3 thank you for asking, anon, and giving me the opportunity to talk about this! eheheh

so, at the moment i don't actually own a favorite pair of socks, but i have a favorite hypothetical pair of socks that i can show you: hypothetical in that i don't own them, but i could own them if i ever reached a level of knitting skill i have not achieved yet, because these socks actually exist only as a knitting pattern i've had favorited on ravelry since... maybe the first day i joined rav like... idk, a decade ago?

literally i have never knit a sock in my life. i have never even knit with sock yarn. in all my many years of knitting i have never even finished a project beyond a dishcloth (even though i technically am probably at this point an advanced beginner? idk i can do all the Important Stuff to be able to finish projects but what i lack is the attention span and i'm much more of a process knitter than a finished objects knitter i GUESS)

anyway i would fucking love to make these socks one day just to have them. maybe if i make even one of the pair i will frame them or something. bucket list socks. YEAH

#dungeon meshi #izutsumi #marcille donato #chilchuk tims #I still stand by my tags on the Izutsumi character study piece I did in January - but I will repeat myself on a few lines here:#I *really* love this character. I love that all of the dungeon meshi crew are complicated and have difficult to love components.#But Izutsumi is a particular kind of hard to love. I foresee a lot of people being turned off by her abrasiveness and lack of teamwork.#She is very self-centered and openly goes against what the party agrees on.#She's a picky eater in a story that is 50% about eating good and healthy food!#It is in part about her growth but admittedly even *then* she remains rather true to her self-centeredness.#Even though she isn't as nice or funny or compassionate as the others...Izutsumi is still someone worth loving.#Even the more difficult people are someone worth loving.#And those people in turn are people who have something and someone they love.#She may be a girlcat but she is the most human of them all.#I hope that if you are an anime only watcher and are feeling put off by her at the moment; you'll give her a chance.#By the way: *yes* I worked very hard to draw that skateboard pose. It was worth it.#EDIT: HAPPY 500th POST OF POORLY-DRAW-MDZS!!! What a comic to commemorate the milestone with!

There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation

because WHAT are people talking about sometimes
