As a human, Vee sees herself as an ambitious cis woman in a rich men's world and weaponizes femininity to her advantage while cursing the glass ceiling. She loves being a woman as much as she hates it and often wishes she was born male, fantasizes about how her life would be if she was a man, stares at men's clothes with longing... (🥚)

As a demon, he is reborn in a body that makes it easy to pass as a man: he can use a binder and change a few settings to make his voice deeper. He tells himself that "playing pretend" is simply the logical thing to do to protect himself and ascend to power (nevermind that there are several female Overlords. Yep, he's in denial)

Over the years, he slowly comes to terms with the fact that he enjoys being perceived as masculine in a way that has nothing to do with social status. Vox the businessman isn't just a persona, it's an actually identity that brings him joy and makes him feel good about himself.

He finally figured it out! He was a trans man all along! He decides to fully transition, and it feels great, for a while. Gender euphoria, baby.

And yet... As much as he loves being a man, some days, he misses being called a lady and wearing dresses. Isn't that just ironic? Suddenly, the longing is back. He feels just like he used to when he was human, only this time the genders are reversed.

He starts second-guessing himself, frustrated and anxious, and his internalized misogyny and old-timey perception of gender roles are NOT helping him process the situation at all. He starts overperforming masculinity to try and compensate for his doubts. Was he just faking masculinity so well that he fell for his own lie?? That can't be true. He loves being a man. He just... she, she just wishes she could sometimes be perceived as a woman, too. (and no, he can't settle for something in the middle or outside of the binary: it has to be one extreme or the other, like a binary signal of 0 or 1)

Thankfully for Vee, she's got an incredible adaptable biomechanical body. Once she finally figures out that she can be a woman one day and a man the next (because she can do whatever she wants, forever), and that her fem gender expression doesn't invalidate his masculinity in any way, she gets SO MANY upgrades <3

On the topic of being trans. My mom has her pronouns at the end of every email she sends at work. She does this because she wants to show support to people in a place where they might not even think to look for it.

Anyway, she was on the phone with someone the other day, and they snarkly said, "she/her huh?" And when people do that, they never expect you to respond confidentiality. They expect you to either get angry or give up, but mom said, "Yep gotta show my support to transgender people." Plain and simple. Apparently, the guy was quiet and didn't say anything else on it.

He already had a hard time learning his own strength in the original, where they were all roughly similar sizes. But now? He has to really practice being gentle. And he's gotten DAMN good at it. So good that even though it looks like he's being completely reckless and throwing his weight around his tiny brothers, he knows exactly how much pressure each brother of wildly different sizes and durability can take.

He has no idea how to handle meeting April. Like, all he's known is how to be gentle around people cause they're smaller and more fragile and suddenly, here's a human, over double his height... but she's still physically weaker??? Or at least not as durable. She doesn't have a shell or tough scales and wasn't specifically mutated for war so doesn't have any durability/strength/regeneration genes.

When they first meet, I imagine the other boys are less freaked out cause they're used to everyone being taller than them but Raph goes FULL protective mode. Pulling out all the stops because he thinks it's going to be a tough fight, that the human would easily stomp him if he doesn't go all out.

But when he sees she isn't fighting back and is hurt pretty bad from his bites (1000 psi ain't a joke, she's lucky she still has all her limbs after that) he instantly goes from "evil giant monster must attack" to "mother hen" and gets extremely apologetic.

Not an... amazing first meetup but April jokes about it now, Raph even gives her little play bites when they're messing around or just absentmindedly gnawing on it while watching a movie(though much more gentle). And while Raph COULD give little playful bites to his little brothers, he has to be VERY aware and VERY careful while doing so, but with April he can be a bit looser with how gentle he is

And I don't think Draxum reaaalllyyy anticipated the turtles not growing to a more human height. In his defense this was basically the first time he used live human DNA during the mutation process. How was he supposed to know that the animal's height would take priority over the human's height?

Draxum saw splinter shrink down into a rat during his escape but just assumed they were all so small that they couldn't have survived the collapse. Oh well, he'll make sure to fix that flaw when he finally gets his lab back up and running.

i didnt want to be this person but i’ve been following your blog for a while and i was hoping it would change but it hasnt. I think its bold of you to say your blog has no AI when your characters are basically rip offs of existing characters or real world people, or characters you took from another user. AI is awul for artists and needs to be separated from art and this blog is basically AI with how many rip off characters you have. You say you don’t write rpf or fanfic but over half your characters are basically rip offs of existing characters or real world people (youre going to tell me that Cassius and Calypso arent ripped off from Gravity Falls, Hemlock isnt stolen from Danny Phantom, Novak is basically a subtle rpf to that one nfl quarterback in florida, the list goes on). For starters, I didn’t even want to think about this message because you didn’t even have the guts to come off anonymous to tell me you felt that way. The only reason I’m answering this is because its actually insane you think this.

Let’s bust out the crayons for this lesson, shall we? 🖍️ i’ll explain this the way i explained a similar thing to some kids at the daycare i volunteered at in college.

🖍️ "Inspired by" means you see something you like, and you use it to come up with your own ideas. It’s like seeing a cool picture of a duck, and then drawing your own duck but making it look different, maybe with different colors or wings. You use the idea, but make it yours.

🖍️ "Copying" is when you take something someone else made and do the exact same thing without changing it or making it your own. It’s like tracing that duck picture and saying it’s yours, even though someone else made it first.

So, being inspired is using an idea to create something new, and copying is just making the same thing!

Let’s look at the characters you mentioned.

Cassius and Calypso are witches. Twins. This isn’t the first time witches have appeared in media, of course. After all, Harry Potter is incredibly popular. Let’s not forget Sabrina the Teenage Witch! Also! Twins are a real life biological phenomenon! I won’t lie, the relationship Cassius and Calypso has is drawn from Gravity Falls, but if you remember the creator of that show even came out and said they were based on him and his sister. How are they mine, you ask? Well… theyre under contract with their aunt and uncle, they perform regular shows showcasing their abilities, and the biggest thing in their lore is Calypso’s deal. Calypso made a deal with a demon who she knows nothing about and hardly knows anything about what she got into but she doesnt care. As long as her brother is safe. They have their own exclusive personalities too!

Was Hemlock based off Danny Phantom? Hell yeah he was. That show was a banger. Is Hemlock a copycat of Danny Phantom? Believe it or not even though he is half ghost and half human and can shift (as is Juniper!) at his will usually, he is NOT actually Danny Phantom. Hemlock is a transgender man, he is a student, he just got his abilities at twenty one. Did I take inspiration from the show? Sure. But is Hemlock also a classical musician, an occult student, a researcher, and a study driven academic with an ironic background in ghost hunting? Yep. And guess what? He also has a whole personality!!

Let’s look at Novak, because he is one of my favorite characters ever and he’s a lot of people’s favorite character. The quarterback you’re looking for is an amazing man, really. I volunteered with that team on an internship for one of my degrees during one of his seasons and he is one of the most genuine people I’ve met! (I went to a game in January, tickets were a Christmas gift, and he actually remembered me by name and I gave him a friendship bracelet like it was the eras tour and I’m pretty sure he wore it for a while). But is Novak a copycat of him? Let’s look. See, I don’t know him (that player you’re talking about) personally! But I can tell you Novak is a linebacker which is an entirely different position. Novak is also a single father who was SA’ed (because that happens to men too) in college. He was a foster kid who went through eight homes, six of which were abusive. He was a double major in college while being a once in a lifetime player for the college football team. He would do anything for his mom, his daughter, and his loved ones without a second thought. In fact we see more lore in his book but Novak has a hefty (six figures) fund for his daughter to go to college or buy a house or whatever she may need later in life. He regularly donates to his mom’s art gallery to make sure it stays running and local artists are supported to the highest possible level. Also, interestingly, that quarterback youre talking about is very Christian (very nice about it. But very christian) and Novak is actually agnostic! Novak also retired after a few years after he acquired a really bad concussion and started having seizures. As you say, ✨the list goes on✨

As for the AI thing, because what the absolute fuck… I never use AI to write my stories. I have used ChatGPT before, but I have used it as a means to get my thoughts organized in a prompt so I can write. Other that that, all me baby.

Dr. Phil: States across the country have passed laws banning "gender affirming care" on minors. Our next guest is a queer woman who is married to a trans man. When Jamie Reed worked as a caseworker at the transgender centre at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, she thought she was saving trans kids' lives. But she claims what she witnessed there was so morally and medically appalling that she had no choice but to expose what was really going on.

Jamie Reed: I was working in a paediatric gender for 4 1/2 years, primarily responsible for patient intakes. The center followed this message that transition would solve everything. That it would solve a child’s mental health problems. There were very few written protocols or guidelines. One of the providers even said we were "flying the plane as we built it." Doctors are acting like they're God when it comes to medically transitioning children.

Children could identify themselves as transgender, see a therapist for one visit, see our endocrinologist for one visit, and end up with hormones that would impact and change their bodies for their lifetime. These were identities that were still shifting and changing, but the treatments were irreversible and permanent. I saw a young person who was begging to have their breasts put back on after having surgery.

We were encouraged not to make a big deal out of it and definitely not to tell other families. I couldn't continue to be silent on it. The medical harms and trauma that I saw with these teens just took over my life. I was told I could no longer raise concerns or even use the phrase, "I have concerns about a patient." I have no trust in this industry medically transitioning minors anymore.

Dr. Phil: Jamie, thank you for being here.

Jamie: Thank you for having me.

Dr. Phil: You describe yourself a queer woman married to a transgender man and you're a member of the LGBTQ community and you went there to do something good, something positive at this clinic in St Louis. What changed your mind?

Jamie: A number of things. We started to see patients who were experiencing very significant medical harms. Being rushed to the emergency room with lacerations requiring stitches. We had patients contact us who were begging to have body parts put back on within months of having surgeries. And the thing that kept happening is every time I would raise concerns and ask about the protocols and ask about the guidelines, this is just how the industry works. If a child says they're trans, there’s no questioning it, we just say, "yep, you're trans, what would you like?"

Dr. Phil: You’re telling me that a 12- or 13-year-old who can’t decide which pyjamas to wear can come in and say, "I’ve decided that I want to transition," and with no more than a couple of hours - or two visits, not even a couple of hours, two visits - they say, okay, start taking this, start doing this. Which alters their biochemistry in a way that you can’t come back from.

Jamie: Correct.

Dr. Phil: And you say you saw dramatic increases in teenage girls that had no previous history of gender distress and they suddenly declared themselves transgender and demanded immediate testosterone [and] blockers.

Jamie: When I started - so I was there for 4 1/2 years, and when I started, I maybe would have 5 to 10 new incoming patients a month. By the time I left it was close to 50 every single month. My background is in clinical research and so I started looking at the data, I wanted to know what the numbers told me. And towards the end of my tenure, 73% of the new patients coming to us were girls who were in their teen years, so in that really vulnerable age of like 13 to 16 where they are just exposed to so many social pressures and they’re so empathetic to what’s going on around them too, that they really pick up on what’s going on in their peer group. We had clusters where it would be a handful of one whole high school classroom would come in all trans identified.

Dr. Phil: Historically, this typically would be males and you would have a female how often?

Jamie: Oh, very rare. And also, the ages were different. So, it would usually be younger boys who seemed very feminine or had feminine traits to their family and their families would seek care trying to understand what’s going on for their young male child. This was never something that would start in adolescence.

And these girls were also learning on TikTok, Instagram, they would come in and they would almost have the exact same storyline too. Like they learned what to say from a video to explain, "oh no really, I’ve felt this way from early childhood." But a lot of their parents couldn’t remember anything like that.

And part of what’s going on right now is that if you question this at all, you are immediately called transphobic, you’re immediately called homophobic, you’re immediately considered a bigot. And it’s just not scientific reality.

Dr. Phil: Jamie Reed says that her goal was to support trans youth. Jamie says patients had no idea what they were going to be as adults, yet all it took for them to permanently transform themselves was one or two short conversations with a therapist. When you say short, what would you call short?

Jamie: One visit. I saw letters being written approving children for puberty blockers or cross sex hormones after a single visit with a therapist.

Dr. Phil: And how long would that visit be?

Jamie: 30, 40 minutes.

Dr. Phil: And you said that the clinic would actually provide them a letter that checked all the boxes for them to qualify for the treatment.

Jamie: It wasn’t the clinic, it was me. It was my job. I sent out the fill-in-the-blank letter. I sent it. It’s what we did. We sent it directly to the community therapist and said just fill this out, plug-in where you need to, and we’re good to go.

Dr. Phil: What kind of things would it say?

Jamie: At the end of all of the letters would say, "I am approving this patient for puberty blockers or cross sex hormones." "They meet criteria."

Dr. Phil: There were some emails that you saw that were very troubling to you and I’d like to look at these.

"Duke is a brave, and albeit foolish(often said by his cousin, Riley) daredevil. Who sometimes, unintentially causes trouble. Despite that, He's always there to help people face their fears and become as daring as he is!"

In the show:

Duke first appeared in the episode, 'Daring Danger', when the Handeemen decided to attend one of his stunt shows. After the show he immediatly recognised Riley and decided to pay her a visit, slightly embarrassing her infront of the other Handees-

He decides to hang around for a while, accidentally causing a few accidents to happen due to his recklessness. Eventually, around the end of the episode, he learns a valuble lesson on safety and how to be careful.

Outside of the show:

He was created by one of the show's writers, Avery Flores, as a self insert and aswell as a possible side character for the show. It took awhile but Owen finally accepted his submission and made him Duke's official pupeteer!

Nobody knows what had happened to Avery when the studio fire started, but it is highly likely that he didnt make it...

Relationship with the Handeemen(Show counterparts):

- Rosco: Duke adores the golden retriever, he would always give him alot of belly rubs and treats whenever he gets to visit(Duke always wanted to have a dog, but due to his constant travels(and the fact he lives in a van), he's unnable to own one).

Rosco loves to play with Duke and would look forward to his visits(which makes Riley abit jealous), their favourite thing to do together is digging!

- Riley: As said before, Duke is Riley's reckless cousin(specifically from her mother's side), they've knowned eachother since they were toddlers and would often visit eachother during the holidays. Duke likes to tease her about her height, despite also being short.

Riley might never admit it, but she is glad to have Duke's company(as she didnt have many friends back then). Tho, she is tired of constantly scolding him for his reckless behaviour.

- Nick: Duke sees the artist as a close friend of his. The two would often exchange terrible dad jokes and team up to prank/tease Riley(much to the scientist's dismay). He's also one of the only few who wilingly listens to the artist's poems(tho half the time, Duke gets distracted by other things and ends up forgeting what Nick just spoke).

While Nick is annoyed by Duke's reckless antics(he still holds a grudge againts him for accidentally ruining one of his paintings that took hours to finish), he's glad to have another theater kid to talk to(Yep, Duke's a theater kid. So is Riley, but she's in the closet).

- Daisy: Duke LOVES Daisy's cooking(as it reminds him of his grandma's), he would often try and volunteer to help her in the kitchen(tho he was quickly banned after he somehow set it on fire the moment he stepped in).

Daisy's mother hen tendencies are increased when Duke's around, mostly due to his clumsy nature(he keeps giving her heart attacks with his definitely not safe stunt shows). Tho, its safe to say the two are good friends.

- Mortimer: The daredevil admires the old magician as he never cease to amaze him with his unbeliavable magic tricks, so much so that Duke wouldnt stop talking about them(he's abit of a chatter box). He greatly respects him.

Mortimer is both amused and overwhelmed by his enthusiam, either way, he's glad to have another person be his practice audience.

More Info about him:

- Since it was the 80s, his transgender reprsentation was never outright said due to the censorships. However, the crew managed to work around it by giving small hints throughout the show(e.g., sneakily showing a trans bumper sticker on his van).

- On some occasions, he'll dye his hair a different color to match the theme of the episode, or out of curiosity on what they'll look like.

- He has ADHD, Riley made him get a diagnosis after showing multiple signs of having it(that probably explains why he gets distracted easily, and why he keeps forgetting shit-).

- He is allergic to cats(they found out after he tried to pet the neighbors cat when he was little), tho that doesnt stop him from trying to pet any cat he finds, much to Riley's annoyence(she had to stop him from petting Angel when he first met the feline).

Dathomir Daily

Here are words that are used to form these terms, as well as these terms themselves. In my AU, this is the area Talzin had the most beef with. She had her strong gender roles hammered down and not conforming to those was a good way to end up dead. Intersex people would’ve been seen as a disease and promptly culled as an infant if it was obvious at the time.

Doc’rā (pr: dock-ray): turn; change; cross; used like transfer, transmit, transition, transform

Hēs (pr: hees): sex; as in a person’s sex

Dēhēs (pr: Dee-hees): referring to the traditionally male sex; AMAB

Tāhēs (pr: tay-hees): referring to the traditionally female sex; AFAB

Cā’hēs (pr: cay-hees): intersex; literally “you”+ “sex”

Additionally, the way terms for sexual attraction or lack thereof work differently. Polyamory is culturally widespread and one could argue almost expected on Dathomir, so terms for sexual or romantic preference apply to all sexes and genders. For example, one would refer to a straight man and a lesbian woman with the exact same adjective, indicating that they both prefer females as their sexual and/or romantic partner. There are also terms which allow for those who do not experience sexual attraction, as that is also quite accepted amongst the steep majority of clans across Dathomir. These terms were almost unheard of until outsiders began contacting Dathomir because there was nearly no need for them. On Dathomir, love is love and sex is sex, and who an individual wants to do either or both with has never been a matter needing a term. It simply is life as usual. Even Talzin had no real issues with various sexual or romantic attractions, unless her subjects were unwilling to put them aside for the purpose of conceiving children.

If they did not obey, they were more than likely killed for defying her. (In my AU anyhow)

“You know, your makeup is quite decent today, (Y/N).”

Chris chirped one day when you were sitting with him in one of his yachts, surrounded by the glistening blue of the ocean and the whiteness of the sky.

“Decent today? What are you implying? That it’s bad every other day?” you chuckle.

“Maybe, maybe not.” Chris chuckles alongside you, taking a gulp of his black coffee,“Reminds me of when I did makeup back in the old days. I was always amazing, but now.” he smirks,“I’m wealthy enough to hire people to do it for me.”

“Uh huh.” you followed his smug face expression, stirring your own coffee with the teaspoon provided,“It’s just like you to be so pampered.”

“Yep, that’s me. Born to rule the entertainment industry with my Heaven sent looks and charisma! The whole world knows it! And yet,” Chris hangs his head as he goes on to say,“I’m not ready to tell it who I am.”

You cock your head,“Who you are? The world already knows that, McLean.”

However, he wasn’t sharing your sense of playfulness as he raised his head to cut you an unamused look,“Very funny. You know what I mean.” he looks to the side, his face softening,“I’m just so afraid. I don’t know what happened, but lately, I’ve been doubting myself. I don’t feel like the guy I was.”

That doesn’t sound good,“You wanna talk about it?”

“Sure.” he responds, taking a sip of his coffee. After, his gaze matches the angle of yours,“So uh, one day I kinda started feeling off; I wasn’t feeling my usual phenomenal irreplaceable self. Something was wrong, and looking in the mirror only made it worse. I know I’m a man. I know I am. But...” he taps the sides of his cup as though to maintain his grip on communicating,“It wasn’t me I saw, but that...thing. And now, she won’t leave. She’s there in all my reflections, copying all my moves, it’s so freaky. Sooo... I’m kinda in a um, position where I’m believing in signs. Signs like, what if that version I don’t wanna be is intimidating me just like how...I’m intimidating manhood? What if that man never existed, (Y/N)? Am I wasting my time?!”

You bring the edge of your coffee to your lips as you carefully considered your words,“Well obviously, this old you you’re seeing, is a manifestation of insecurities-”

Failing instantly,“Ugh, spare me the pretentious words! If I wanted to see a therapist to tell me all that, I would’ve done so years ago.”

You set your cup down,“I mean, there’s nothing wrong with seeking professional help.”

“Not when you’re a beacon of perfection like me! When therapists are done with me, they’ll be all over their secret accounts on social media, posting subtle stuff about it! Aw if he didn’t want me to out him, he should’ve paid me a little bit more!” his voice comedically changed to fit one jarring of a potential backstabbing therapist.

“I know some therapists make you sign a contract, but you could always create a contract of your own for them to sign if you feel that anxious.” you hummed, despite knowing that privacy would already be included in a contract designed by one.

“What do you mean, you know? You’ve been to a therapist before, (Y/N)?” Chris raised an eyebrow, leaning closer to your caught off guard face.

Again, there was nothing wrong with seeking professional help so you had no clue why Chris was scrutinising you like it was taboo,“...We’re getting off topic.”

“Damn it, you’re right!” Chris exclaimed in self-awareness as he took a loud, long sip of his steaming cup,“Ah... Anyway. I’m not joshing when I say I’m confused, (Y/N). Really, I am. At first I was content and relieved I got to be Chris. Now I just feel out of place. I feel like a living fraud. I can’t even recognise my own million dollar smile in pictures anymore.” he brushes a hand over his cheek,“I didn’t think I would actually feel unsure with my guts after so many years.”

You never thought you’d see the day where Chris was venting so deeply,“Well, it’s fine to feel disoriented with your identity at times, Chris. It’s a completely normal thing that many transgender people go through, even those who find themselves very early on.”

“Yeah, but I don’t want to experience it at all.” he groaned in a snappy manner,”I’ve tried shutting it out, ignoring it, moving on with my life, but it keeps surfacing. I’m sick of it.”

That’s one mistake,“You said you were starting to believe in signs more, right?”

“Yeah, what about it?”

“So don’t you think this is a sign that you can’t keep trying to dismiss how you feel and address it?” you propose, hope flowering in your irises.

“But I’m a guy. I’m not supposed to be all emotional and stuff anymore.” he mumbles, almost like it was just intended for himself to hear.

Though, you heard it and you’re thankful you picked it up. With that mumbled, you feel you’ve uncovered more depth to what this was about,“Okay well, what you just described is toxic masculinity, and that never solves anything for anyone. Look.”

You have trouble deciding if you should grab his hand,“I’m not going to try and say I know exactly what you’re feeling, but I can empathise from the perspective of somebody who’s known you for a very long time that you are definitely not impersonating manhood.” you decide against it, but you made sure his head was facing you,“You’re the happiest as a guy, and you’re not any less of one even if you express yourself, even if you were born female. I know being in the public eye, you have a certain expectation of smiles to convey, but just because you conceal it from the public, doesn’t mean you have to conceal it from yourself. At the end of the day, this scary feeling will only be gone if you confront it. Not me, not your agent or your fans. I can’t tell you how to confront it, but I can tell you, it’s fine to take your time in resolving it. Gender dysphoria is draining and you have a right to feel distressed.”

He doesn’t look very convinced, just a slight head nod to confirm he’s listening. Seems like he’s not sure how to take your words. To be fair, you’ve said a lot and he already denied therapy, so you decide to speak again with more simple words, smiling,“You’ve made a lot of progress. It takes a lot of courage to make the transition you’ve done. Isn’t that proof of a remarkable journey that can withhold your current uncertainty?”

“Maybe...” he sighs as he shifts in his seat,“Anyway. I’m still gonna keep this confidential. My entire career, as I know it, could crumble in the span of two minutes!”

You know he did not just say that,“Chris, you’ve done way more horrendous things in your lifetime and you still haven’t gotten cancelled. Being transgender would be the least of anyone’s concerns. Sure it may be surprising, but at least it’s not a crime.”

“Hey...” his dark eyes lit up,“You’re right! Maybe if I do come out, I can make myself more money and attention! Great thinking, (Y/N)!”

His enthusiasm seemed like an exaggeration, so you shrugged,“I mean, as long as you’re comfortable, no one has the right to say otherwise.”

“Yeah no, I was lying.” the laughter he emitted wasn’t organic- called it,“I don’t see that happening anytime soon.”

His laid back mask was slipping. The smell of coffee was weak- you noticed both of your cups have been emptied. He could do with a bit of alone time after what you’ve discussed.

“Want me to go get us a refill?”

He hands his cup to you,“Thank you.”

Watching this week's 10 minute power hour and witnessing arin casually mentioning how he's bisexual, reminds me of how I came to realize I was pansexual and how I told my mom.

Growing up in a Catholic village with an average population of 200-300 people, said people being mostly the age of between 30-80, was quite the experience for a pubescent little girl like myself.

I knew I had an attraction to boys in my early teen years, school girl crushes on guys you go to class with and whatnot, classic growing up experiences, it wasn't until a few years later that I realized there's a little bit more to this.

My first ever gay crush was Hayley Williams from Paramore, my sister used to collect band magazines, once she was done cutting out the magazines I would go along after her and cut out the pictures of her I particularly liked. At 13 my bedroom walls were covered with posters and clippings of her, despite not even realizing at the time I had an attraction to women.

Vivid memories of me googling different sexualities and what they mean pop into my head, I knew I had an attraction to girls as well, but I wasn't lesbian, I was still attracted to guys as well. Bisexual just didn't fit, I tried it on for a bit, didn't truly feel like me. Then I found the definition of Pansexual, I mulled it over for a while and found that this was my label, this was what I was comfortable labeling myself as.

Fast forward to the near present, at this time no one knew, I kept myself in the closet for a while, for reasons I will disclose later in the post. I never made a big deal out of coming, I didn't sit my mom and dad down and tell them "hey! I'm pansexual!" It didn't feel like the way I wanted to do it, for multiple reasons.

It was the summer when I turned 18, me and my mom were painting furniture and talking, out of pure curiosity she asked me what's the difference between a transgender male and a transgender female. Giving her the definitions and a few examples to help her understand better, my brain immediately decided for me that 'yep this is the moment' and I told her, I explained how pansexual people are attracted to other people regardless of their gender or identity.

Of course like any parent when they've been told their child is gay, she took a moment to process it. Do I regret telling her? Absolutely not it was the best decision I ever made, she's been very kind and supportive of me ever since and I'm so lucky to have such a considerate mother in my life.

My father on the other hand, does not know and he may never know. He's not as accepting as some unfortunately, sometimes I wish I could have a 'fuck you this is me and if you don't like it you can go fuck yourself attitude' towards him, but at the same time life isn't that easy I'm afraid. To this day only four of my close family friends know I'm pansexual.

The moral of the story is: coming out is different for everyone, some may want to tell everyone at the same time, maybe make a big announcement and others may only want a few closely cherished people in their lives knowing. No matter how, when or who you come out to you're so very valid, there is no time limit, but unfortunately in some people's lives (such as my own) there may be a person or people that you feel or know won't accept you for who you are, for those of you in these situations I wish for us to gain the courage someday to truly be ourselves in the face of homophobia and oppression.

To all my fellow LGBTQIA+ people, closeted, open and even semi in the closet.

Holy fucking hell you're SUPER RIGHT and I'm not even kidding omfg!!!!

Cybertronians are canonically nonbinary/agender upon creation, they canonically are capable of choosing forms that suit them regardless of what gender that may be as. Arcee herself had a masculine form at first, but she knew this wasn't fitting, and took on a female one, changed herself, and became the Arcee we know and love today. She's such a badass and so epic, she was the first canon transgender Transformers character, and since then, the canon has spoken about and shown other Cybertronians who are trans, GNC, and nonbinary.

So Starscream, he is TOTALLY capable of being bigender. He uses he/him pronouns, but you can't look at this motherfucker and tell me he ain't some kind of gender fuckery. I mean JUST LOOK AT HIM!!!! He's got the range!!!!

And, it's exactly what you said. He almost certainly is bigender just to come out on top every time in every relationship. He actually is bigender, but like he'd go on a date with someone who says, "Oh, I only like girls." And Starscream would say like, "I can be a girl." Then his other partner would be meeting this one and say, "Yeah I like guys." And Starscream would give like finger guns and say, "Yep! Whatever you like, I am." And before anyone knows it, Starscream is just stacking partners up like collectables, gathering dozens of different folks of different gender, and they all love and accept him for whatever gender he wants to be at any given moment.

Starscream, I imagine, doesn't stand for any sexism, or transphobia, because of this. If ANYONE is a gender bigot, he's the first to jump on them and threaten them, with Soundwave and all his little bot kids to back the dude up.

Imagine Starscream wearing a dress!!! I need this NOW!!!!! He would look so perfect in one holy shit!!!!! For a wedding, I imagine he would literally take one half a suit, one half a dress, and poorly sew them together with jagged stitches, then wear this while carrying a bouquet.

TW-- Medical talk. Blood. Surgery.

Okay so- sinus surgery went good! No weird complications and they didn't have to go in through my mouth, that was a big relief. The staff were all lovely and in all it was far easier and less stressful and bad than expected. Was discharged on the same day, came home and rested and resting more today. I feel a bit swollen inside and swallowing doesn't feel great and the leaking has slowed but not stopped. Whenever I get up to go to the toilet I get more leaking of blood and fluid.

The worst thing probably is that my pancreas really really hurts. It kept waking me up through the night and I honestly thought the sinus discomfort would be the thing keeping me up, not my pancreas?

Also just found this summary of my 'problems/comorbidities' to be hilarious.

Jokes aside the staff were all lovely. One did quietly ask me 'how far along are you?' And I was sort of like... I dont think there's really... a timeline in that way..? I've been on T for over a year but I don't have top surgery if that's what you mean. And she was like... 'do you have a uterus?' Me: 'yep' Her: 'I'm sorry but could you do a pregnancy test..?' And I'm like yeah that's fine but I'm like really really really not pregnant.

When you discovered your identity ,you wanted to tell your boyfriend ,but the problem is ,he is constantly stressed and has work constantly put on him even when he doesn’t offer to help ,but the problem is he doesn’t know how to say no.

You wanted to tell him ,but you were scared this would put some stress on him or make him dislike you. So you kept it in until it ‘felt right’ to say it ,but then days turned into weeks into months and you haven’t even try to hint it.

This was until one day your dysphoria was horrible that day and you couldn’t take it anymore ,you let all your tears out and all your thoughts were attacking you ,you couldn’t escape it no matter how hard you battled ,its still just there and you can’t escape it.

Or his brothers, Jami and Kit, who are determined to find out where and when the Gods are rumored to rise from. //ok this one is absolutely bat shit crazy BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH I'M FINALLY PROUD OF THIS PLOT...there's also a whole thing with castien and his "best friend / partner in crime " Wednesday and it very quickly turns into a gay vampire thing...y'know cause the gods will it....(it's me I'm the gods),,also everything is not as it seems ;)))))))))

Lab Rat: including: the world's angriest tests subject (402), a very scared ghost living in a computer (001), a half flesh half machine spider lady (777), and a woman who happened to be the right place at the right time // 402 is determined to become more than a pawn in some great search for science. She will rip the secrets from these walls if it means she will be freed. Unfortunately, this knowledge comes with a heavy price, including making some enemies in her own facility. If 402 proves herself, she could earn the favor of the researchers and become stronger. if she can play the long game, could she finally see the outside world? // OKAY OKAY I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH it has liminal horror vibes and a really spooky vibe, I like the oppressive nature of the lab and her initial ideas of the outside world are....fantastical LMAO. If that includes provoking demons, so be it. Their girlfriend, Lorelei is eager to help solve a mystery. This drags in Lorelei's older sister, Adelaide, and Jasmine, the demon bound to the family. Sparrow is accompanied by their best friend, Pallas, who is desperate for a safe space and willing to be the only one keeping track of things, and the new kid, Jedediah, who would rather die than be at home // this one takes place in Ohio and I fucking *LOVE* it....it's such a love letter to my own life and rural queer communities MWAH MWAH MWAH I love you all so much,,,,,also I enjoy complaining about the midwest.....

Noxys has figured out that alchemy can solve almost any problem, so why not try to show the true nature of a blood thirsty beast? Yep. She's gonna turn the queen into a vampire. Surely this will go well and have no negative consequences whatsoever (it does). // i absolutely love this story it has such a fun cast and it's always fun to write a little enemies to lovers........

The Day We Disappeared: including a ghost who doesn't know she's a ghost, a poltergeist, a vengeful spirit, and a witch in the woods who doesn't want kids (but secretly does)// Lucy and older siblings are taken in by a witch interested in studying their paranormal abilities. Little does Lucy know, but she's dead. The elder sister, Okiku, is hoping there is a way for Lucy to realize that is not too damaging on her little psyche. Wolfgang, the elder (but younger than Okiku) is ready to provide a distraction so Saoirse (the witch in the woods) can try and figure out something about ghosts that may help//okay I love cozy horror and this is also a murder mystery bc the person who murdered Lucy also had a hand in Wolfgang and Okiku's deaths too oohoohooohoo......

So I moved into the director's old office this week and the facilities manager (in his 60s, love to sexually harass me) came by to ask him a question but found me instead. So he makes a joke, knowing that I have just had a surgery but not which surgery, and says, "oh so THAT'S what the surgery was for!" And I, completely seriously--because that is, in fact, what the surgery was for--go, "yep, you nailed it." And he walks off chuckling to himself to find the director because it's just SO funny and silly to think that I would get the transgender surgery!!

It reminds me of the time I was telling my mum, who I'm not out to even though I have been on HRT for nearly two years, news about my trans best friend who was coming out to her extended family. My mum was like, "well yeah you've gotta just tell people at some point, or else they're gonna start wondering what's going on," cause you can totally tell. And I was just like, sitting there in my men's suit nodding my head going, "uh yeah, that can be one factor..."

Oh god AND the time my dad told me he interacted with his "first trans person" at the shop buying me tea; he could tell because "y'know, she had a five o clock shadow, and, the voice."
