So I was told a prophecy.

Not exactly, my mom was given a prophecy about me.

For work related reasons, my mom met this woman that gave her her horoscope for 2024 and 2025, among all the things said, there was some things about the house of Leo that's the family pantheon or something like that. There, it said my mother's child would get a partner within this year.

I'm really excited, because I live in the forest, less than 200 people live in the surrounding area and I'll only 1 of them is near my age and single, everyone else is too young or too old or is married. I don't leave the house that much, and even less for social gatherings. I just hang out with the older people here.

There's so little (if none) possibility of getting to meet someone and for them to actually become my partner that this can only be a way of astrology to be mistaken. And I'm here for it.

just found out that the 2025 superbowl will be held in lousiana 🥹 any transits pointing to our boys being there?

my biased answer will always be YES <3

but i have combed through joe's horoscope before and made a prediction last year that he would reach new career milestones during the rahu/ketu transit (also lmao at myself bc i avoided using the word injury in that prediction bc i didn't want to make myself anxious but he ended up hurt during the one transit i was most nervous about 😅)

jupiter entered sidereal Taurus on May 1 and will be there until May 2025. jupiter transiting 7th from any planet brings an emphasis on his relationships, both personal and professional. i trust that this will benefit him a lot in the next year, as jupiter is the great benefic after all

(having said that though, this month brings a lot of emphasis on relationships for scorpio placements in general. venus entered taurus just today, may 19th! sun's been in taurus for a few days now as well, and on may 31 mercury will join the melee lol)

joe is also going through a significant rahu/ketu transit as well though, and he's def been feeling the effects of that:

Who’s Impacted: EVERYONE, but esp. Mutable signs (Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces) and the other fire signs (Aries, Leo). 

Takeaway: the planet of communication takes a long stroll through the jovial fire sign, thanks to a mid-cycle retrograde; thoughts, writing, news, and the truth move at a similarly stalled pace. 

     2024 has been hella exhausting and the mental fatigue is real. Thankfully, the planets have your back with a transit that is sure to fire up your thinking. On Nov. 2, Mercury entered invigorating fire sign Sagittarius, where it will stay until Jan. 8, 2025, which is an unusually long time for Mercury to be in a sign—and it’s thanks to an end-of-year retrograde. Normally, I post horoscopes on the day or the day before a transit is set to happen, but it seems more prudent to post these horoscopes a little later since Mercury has already moved into its pre-retrograde shadow phase. I already talked in-depth about the significance of the pre-retrograde shadow in my weekly forecast, but here’s a quick refresher: 

     In the three phases of retrogrades—pre, retro, and post—the pre-retrograde shadow phase gives us a preview of the themes, lessons, and mix-ups we’ll see (way) more of during Mercury Retrograde. It can be a time of deceleration, too. Because when we’re in the pre-shadow phase, Mercury begins to slow down and inch its way over the area (degrees) of the zodiac sign it’ll revisit during the retrograde. If it sounds confusing, don’t worry. Pre-retrograde shadow is the dress rehearsal, the movie trailer that drops hints of the upcoming retrograde’s plot twists. Of course, the big question for this pre-retrograde shadow is: What will those plot twists be?

     Known for its big-picture focus and love of ideas, Mercury in Sagittarius values the “wow factor” over small details. So from Nov. 2 through Jan. 8, you, me, the media, and any would-be presidential candidate (you know the one) are all more likely to exaggerate for effect or add a touch of drama to make a story resonate. I think we’re heading into a period where conspiracy theories and more incendiary rhetoric are going to run wild. 

     So, it’s important to stay aware of this, to practice critical thinking and media literacy, and to not believe everything you read or see. I’m not attempting to sow distrust in anything (except maybe Truth Social), I just want you to be prepared. Both Mars and Mercury will be retrograde in the beginning of December, so things might get messy / confusing / chaotic; they might already feel that way for you. My main worry is that certain people are going to add more fuel to that fire. If that is the case, please remember: you are not at the mercy of astrology or the media; you are not at the mercy of anything or anyone else. You still have free will, free choice, and astute critical thinking skills; you still have your power. No one and no thing can take that from you. Anyway!

NYR: October in review.

Post-October horoscope: "You have done enough."

Sort of a huge month in every way. Here's some of why:

Submitted my dissertation. I have now completed a PhD. It's exactly as anticlimactic as I anticipated. But for a brief while, I can solicit praise from people just by mentioning it, so I am going to. .

Celebrated my nephew’s first birthday! He took his first steps by himself hands-free while we were all there watching, which was so nice. I didn't have much opportunity to see him over this first year, and being there by chance for that milestone as well was special. .

Survived the busiest time of work. The lead up the next year's season launch is always insane and hectic for everyone, including me, so to be doing that on top of a PhD was not the easiest thing in the world. And yet! Proof of capability that it was all not only done, but also done well. .

See Frankenstein at the theatre. As I mentioned last month, this one has been a recurring feature in my life: a major text in my final years of high school, which got me thinking of monsters as something I loved in an academic field as well as just in general; one of my favourite conferences I've been to as an academic, which was 2018--to mark 200 years since publications; and now a production a few weeks before handing in my PhD. And it was great! I was really impressed with the quality of all of it. .

Went to our friends' wedding. And it was lovely to see them so happy, and so adored by everyone there.

In November, I will:

Finish up proofreading gig. This is my priority for this weekend and next week, and then we'll be all clear of everything of this kind at least until the end of the year. And thank god. .

Season 2025 launch. Less than a week away! It's always a huge day, but then it'll be done for another year. .

Celebrate my birthday. First full lap of my thirties completed. It'll be the first birthday of my life without my mum as well, which is going to be difficult for the obvious reasons. This time last year, we were planning my 30th together, and talking about her 60th, and she was so excited. The last time I danced with her was at that party and I think it about it all the time. Grief and gratitude.

Step Zero: Introducing our example people

Person A: Mrs. Juno, born on 01/10/1994 at 1:11 am in New York, NY

Person B: Mr. Jupiter, born on 01/04/1997 at 11:11 am in Los Angeles, CA

Mrs. Juno & Mr. Jupiter are a couple, and wishes to check their synastry over the year 2024.

First, they need to see their own Solar Return Charts for the year.

Step One: Checking each person's Solar Return

ִ ࣪𖤐 Go on Astro.comִ

ִ ࣪𖤐 Go on the 3 bars

ִ ࣪𖤐 Free Horoscopes > Horoscope Drawings & Data > Extended Chart Selection

ִ ࣪𖤐 Enter your personal informations in "Horoscope for:" (Edit) (for this step, write your birth date and birth time, not the year of the solar return!)

ִ ࣪𖤐 In "Chart Type:" click and search for "Solar Return Chart*"

ִ ࣪𖤐 Then, make sure to write 2024 (or the year you want to check, the rest of the date doesn't matter from what I observed, but the year does).
