I truly LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I also read the reader as female too. I really like how you delve into damiens mind on this one. He is the one I was curious about the direction you will take him in with dealing with reader. I especially can't wait for Jason's too. Will any of the batfam be romantic toward reader in future chapters?

a/n: tysm for liking it so far !! for me i prefer it if the reader is gn/male (since im also a trans guy and it's hard to find content of my preference. it's funny how a lot of ppl in my inbox call me a girl bec i am not 😭). also none of them are going to turn romantic later on. i prefer strictly writing them as platonic in the series since it's often stated that they see you purely as their sibling who differs entirely from them. although i might make another series where it is romantic yandere, but for the a&a series, they're all platonic.

yeah, damian so far is a really complicated case. both him and the reader share a trait for contradicting feelings and that really ties with them being the only ones having blood ties in the family. which drives damian's obsession even further because in my opinion he's the most perceptive (and one of the least delusional alongside jason) of your emotions, knowing the right words to tick you off or make your vulnerable.

damian is also pretty touch-starved for a sense of normalcy that he couldn't achieve with his siblings who are raised to be crimefighters (so the way he sees his relationship towards his siblings would be more of a vigilante partner than family), but once he's matured enough, he'll soon realize just how much he craves for affection. having someone like you, who's the one trying to just live, and sharing blood with him (because despite trying to distance himself away from his assassin past, he'll always have this toxic mindset of "blood is thicker than water" and you're proof of that), damian pretty much demands attentions left and right.

when i mean he demands your attention, that means he also needs affection, both physical and emotional. that means he wants you to coddle him the same way dick coddles you. he wants to bond with you through quality time so that means you'll always find your schedule packed with activities you'll spend with damian, to both make up for lost time and as a quiet apology towards you that, no, he's not gonna threaten you with a sword anymore— he even makes a show of keeping his weapons somewhere far away from you, that your baby brother is vulnerable towards you and he means no harm.

his methods of gaining your spotlight are really inconvenient, but don't point it out because all he'll do is pout towards you whilst he'd grab your hand, preferably to take you somewhere away from all your other siblings who are trying their damn best also trying to take your attention.

meanwhile jason is more protective and would rather not let you go through the same path as he did; being impulsive and letting yourself get in danger. unfortunately, the reader in the series is already pretty much in their worst state and that makes jason's need to protect you from harm's way (just like bruce), especially right after meeting him in the series would make him realize that you weren't a replacement to him and that you both pretty much share the same trauma when it comes to seeing your mother being taken away from you.

just like dick, he pretty much sees you as a kid. but unlike dick, the more you show your impulsive actions and display breakdowns, the more he acknowledges that yes, you do have flaws and you need space so he won't shove his affection down your throat but he will make sure his angel is properly taking care of themself right after, he'll make drink water right after a crying session, make you eat something if you haven't, and if you're scared of criminals trying to target you in the streets, then don't worry because the red hood will guarantee to associate you with fear.

fear that if they even dare to lay their eyes on you, their eyeballs would be ripped out of their sockets. only god knows what would happen if jason were to find one of them having filthy intentions towards his angel.

unfortunately for you, if you don't like it when an intimidating, brooding man who considers himself your brother is standing by your door, then you're out of luck because he won't even budge unless you invite him over. his obsession with you is very subtle but unlike bruce with a no-kill code, jason won't hesitate putting a buller through someone's head once his angel is in danger.

though if you don't want to see jason snap, then it'd be better if you wouldn't put yourself in danger on purpose because he will get violent towards anyone who even tries to lay their hands on you and although his grip on your body is soft, as if making sure that he wouldn't be harming you; you would further increase the chances of being locked up in your own safe haven if you try to purposely get yourself killed because that gives him all the signs that you're incapable of taking care of yourself and he wouldn't want a repeat of what happened to him with you when it comes to any other criminals.

HOLY FUCK LUZ DIED????? i was so not expecting that and good lord was it heartbreaking. Eda and King's reaction to Luz's death were also heartbreaking, and so was the Collector finally realizing what death really is. And oh my god puppet!Camila crying as the balls of light pass by her, showing us that she has had the realization that her daughter died. After the grief and trauma of losing Manny, Camila and Luz had a heart to heart which made their bond stronger than ever, only for Camila to lose Luz aswell.

The raeda in this episode was IMMACULATE. I was really hoping for a kiss but i'm still happy with what WAD gave us. The loving stares, Raine's absolute joy when Eda and Titan!Luz came to their rescue in the throne room, the hugs and nuzzles, the cuddling in their new nest, etc. They seem so relaxed and happy at the end. The world has been saved and now they can finally live their lives together and rekindle their relationship. Oh and how could i forget the EARRING SWAP!! they're wearing eachother's earrings!!! I've seen quite a few ppl interpreting the exchanging of earrings/jewelry as a marriage custom in the demon realm, implying that Eda and Raine are married in the timeskip. I never cared much for the idea of raeda getting married but you know what? I like this headcanon.

omgg, i saw a few posts about the glass child stuff but never really got too into it bc i felt like they were always missing something. i wasn't really sure what that was until i saw your post, where you mentioned lullahs abandonment issues, and everything just clicked. it just all makes sense now bc i know one of the biggest proponents to the "chays STILL a glass child" is qphils seemingly continuing to prioritize lullah over chay, when looking back at most of said moments it does feel more like a dad making sure the child who was abandoned doesnt feel like that ever again. i also feel like some of the issues come with qphils falling into habits, lullah hasn't really needed extra help in a while, but i don't feel as if that notion has fully into qphils mind yet. i would just love if both lullah and chay got one on one time with qphil bc i love them together, but i think each of them often times holds something back for the others' sake, y'know? lullah and bads and/or chay and tubbos recent solo hangouts kinda showcase the difference in dynamic. anyways, tl;dr you have amazing insight and an attention to detail that i, and i feel like a majority of others, missed out on, and i would love to see more character analysis/insights done by you, if you're interested of course!

yeah, tbh, I'm kinda surprised that part of Phil's reasoning was either not considered or even ignored. When he mentioned them "being alone," Tallulah's abandonment issues instantly came to mind; it's a huge part of her arc, y'know? So, yeah I can't see this as him accommodating Lullah's disabilities while disregarding Chay; rather, it was him thinking about her literal trauma. If it were switched (Chay had these issues, not Lullah), Phil would go for him in a heartbeat. Why people spun it as "he wasn't worried about Chay" is wild to me.

mhhm, that's about the crux of it. Yes, q!Phil has trained Tallulah in PVP , and neither he nor Chay recently hover over her during pvp, but when it comes to adjusting to how much his kids have changed, we're still getting there. And not just cuz of, like I said, being separated during Purgatory makes it hard for Phil to grasp what they went through. But bc he himself isn't quite in tune with his own emotions/trauma. It's a detriment to helping his children and growing as a parent, and is part of his own character growth that he is surely yet steadily going through.

And YES! I'd LOVE for the kids to have one-on-ones with Philza. They usually come in pairs, which y'know, is what makes a lot of these issues so difficult. The kids don't have time to be alone with their father, bc they're typically online with him at the same time. I crave that sole father/son bonding, not just bc they need it, but because I love their dynamic so much <3

tbh, i usually limit my character analysis to my main POV, sometimes others if I feel confident enough (i.e. Missa, Baghera). Last thing I wanna do is write analysis that does injustice to a character - any cc!phil fan knows this pain, both in this fandom and others lol! and also some characters I'm admittedly… kinda scared to talk about bc some fans get uber defensive if you talk about any of their negative traits; all fanbases have people like this, of course, crows are NO exception, but this one specifically just… I'd need to be prompted to discuss this character whom I won't specify haha. regardless, if you or anyone else ever wants to ask about my insights on qsmp characters, whether q!Phil or others, I'm more than willing to at least give it a try. thank you again! :)

The Seba brothers are precious; trying to protect and save each other in their own ways.. it shows their bond is actually real strong since they're willing to go lengths to keep the other safe.

Natsuki's willingness to fulfil his father's dream by offering himself to go to Al-Kamar. A place of possibly unimaginable horrors that Slur's team know too well. Assumingly Natsuki also knows whatever the individuals sent there were subjected to, then all that he was doing was so that he could spare his beloved younger brother from unspeakable pain or torture. As well as further trauma to a still-developing kid. Something that their deadbeat of a father fail to realise.. So young, so quiet & stoic, yet still so thoughtful, caring & sweet. I bet young Natsuki understands that Mafuyu is still young & hasn't had his own ambitions yet so I'm certain he's making way for his lil bro to enjoy his childhood more & be relieved from the burden that their dumb dad was abt to shoulder on the poor youngling. Honestly, Natsuki's actions in chap 145 is enough to reflect how much of a doting, protective & selfless big brother he is. Young Mafuyu may not have realised it when he was upset with his aniki, but Natsuki's actions are proof of it. I bet that bladed shoe was designed specially for him cuz Natsuki knows how much of a clean freak his lil bro is.

Meanwhile, Mafuyu deeply cares about Natsuki too in his own way. And he's also very supportive of his aniki's inventions, like he's the only one in the family to do so. On top of that, young Mafuyu even have faith in his aniki, he believes that Natsuki is capable of achieving his dream in future cuz he knows that Natsuki is talented & will be successful in his goal. And Mafuyu has a really big heart thou he was more reckless in his plan to save his brother. Young Mafuyu's main aim is to free Natsuki from their deadbeat father's unhealthy obsession so that his aniki can pursue his biggest dream. And Mafuyu's goal to free & help his aniki is so strong that he is willing to do whatever & by any means necessary. Even if that involves putting his own life on the line, so long as he can make sure that Natsuki achieves his ambition of becoming a professional weapons maker, then Mafuyu really thinks that all these efforts are worth it. What reckless selflessness!

How young Mafuyu is able to realise the important of supporting someone's dreams, or in his case right now is to see through that Natsuki can continue to pursue & achieve his dreams, that is beyond amazing & I tip my hat to him. A little kid versus a full-grown adult. Likewise with Natsuki -as an older brother, you should protect your younger sibling & that's what he does. Such brotherly love. PROTECT! These kids deserve only the best & also doting parents who would give the world to them, respect & support their goals to the ends of Earth.

Seriously, zero respect for Mr Seba for oppressing his kids to be who HE want them to be just for the sake of getting back at those mfs who insulted his family. Saving his own face matters more than ensuring his own children's safety, protecting their well-being and encouraging them to pursue their own paths & dreams. Natsuki & Mafuyu don't deserve the toxic environment they grew up in, nor whatever he has put them through. Like, I couldn't actually drive to uni until I was in my junior year and even then since I was new I feared for my life that first year!

Honestly a slight TMI but I remember at the time when my parents told me that I was in middle school. My best friend at the time just came out as bisexual and our parents were close, so her parents would tell mine that they were hoping it was just a phase (it wasn't) and also at that time I think anti-lgbtqia+ tensions were so high where we lived so when my mom told me that, of course, at the time I felt so betrayed by her because she had various family members in the community. But looking back at it in hindsight, I get it. If I was her, I don't know how I'd protect my young child, who was barely entering her teens, from a society that already hated who she was because she was a racial minority.

When I finally came out to my mom like a few months ago she straight up told me she wasn't surprised because of my fashion choices LMFAO Converse, Skinny Jeans, and Flannels (so many of them)

Thanks for the link though! I never knew that he wrote a apology letter to Dale though! The fact that David is remorseful for his actions makes me realize I should have given his character more introspect. Hopefully in the next game, Dale can come to terms with his parents death by reconciling with David, or at the very least understand why he did what he did—That poor detective boy deserves closure. And maybe David knew that something about Dale would be different. They're both special cases of corrupted souls (You explained with David in your link, and Dale seems to switch in and out of his normal self and corrupted soul when leaving the Lake). When he gets the golden cube to hopefully save himself from repeating the same cycle of violence and tragedy by changing his future, maybe he can change David's future too from forever being a wandering corrupted soul This is long and let me know if I have any facts wrong, but aaaa I just love all this

It hurts me to think about them, of how Jakob and David never got the chance to form a bond because they didn't have the time to be brothers and David never really knew him. The only truly innocent collateral I feel tho is Elizabeth. She never harmed anyone. Tho she did get to be reborn as the Lady of the Lake now I suppose while David is the one out of the three siblings who for whatever reason was never allowed his reincarnation.

But David is resilient and has escaped death before. I'm sure he has more tricks up his sleeve. He's a magician after all.

As for him and Dale... Boy, that's a whole new can of worms you're opening up. They're my fav and the idea of them reconciling is the topic of most my art and comics of them. A slowburn with so much angst and pain but also hopefully healing, because a part of me thinks that's what Rusty Lake is all about... Healing from traumas. If the two of them just had the chance to meet again and work things out 😭

Dale IS special. He is meant to be the successor of Mr. Owl. And I suppose we will see if he will repeat the cycle or do something different. Mr. Owl wants Dale to get rid of the corrupted souls underneath the lake so I assume that means it's his fate to... Idk? Kill them?? Cleanse them??

But do hope on his journey to do that, that he can meet David one last time for them to put their differences aside... Or idk Dale has the upper hand here, if he wants revenge at that moment he could probably have it.

Tho I hope he doesn't. I hope they make amends, cuz at the end of it all, they're both just pawns for the lake and victims of it all the same. They were both put into these situations under unforgiving and unfair circumstances and they sorta just have to play the hands that they are dealt. 😔

I did talk about this before too but a part of the tragedy of Dale and David is David grew up with a lot of trauma without a mother. He knows what it's like to be in the position he later puts Dale in. Hurt people hurt people, and he repeated the cycle of trauma by putting Dale through it. They'd have an understanding but it would be funny to go "yeah I know how it feels" WHEN YOURE THE ONE WHO PUT THE OTHER PERSON IN THAT SITUATION!

Or maybe all this is just my wishful thinking 😩 I just know I want them to reconcile so bad cuz Dale tried killing David but it didn't fix him. If not revenge, then maybe forgiveness is what he needs to truly heal and move on.

I'm sorry if this is a very stupid question, But I really want to get into transformers because of the stuff you reblog, but I can't figure out Where to start with it. Do you have any recommendations? Like which comic run or cartoon was your favorite or somthin?

Anon. I wrote you such a beautiful long post. And then... I accidentally clicked out of it. And it was all lost. So you get a much shorter version now, sorry 😭😭

A) earthspark, hands down. It's on paramount plus, it's amazing -- the designs, the voices, the characters (old robots, new robots, even the humans!), I love all of it. Like yeah it's a kids cartoon, but it is a fucking excellent one IMO. I think it is a valuable entry point even if you don't know anything else about transformers. I could talk for a super normal amount of time about Nightshade. It technically takes place after the G1 cartoons, but you don't have to watch them to understand what's happening.

B) the G1 cartoons are a fun way to get to know the OG robot designs and character pitches.. they don't really have a "plot" beyond "make toys look cool for children"... except when they hit you out of nowhere with character interactions that have such meaningful potential, you can't believe what you're seeing, what are they going to DO with this? And then in the next episode Megatron has eye lasers for some reason and they're time traveling to King Arthur and Astrotrain (he turns into a space shuttle AND a steam train) is trying to start a rebellion of passenger trains. This is only slightly an exaggeration.

C) the IDW comics are the most popular set of comics, specifically, the More than Meets the Eye run that started in 2012, and its sequel, Lost Light. It's about a bunch of robots who go on a big ship to quest for the semi-mythological Knights of Cybertron... then get distracted by seven million other adventures. There are SO many characters and they're basically all SOMEBODY'S blorbo, the way every Pokémon is SOMEBODY'S favorite Pokémon. If you, at one point, followed me for Wolf 359, or if you generally like found family in space with engaging (and gay) romances but also beautiful platonic relationships, not to mention trauma, healing, laughter, cool robots, your current husband finding out that your ex-husband who was presumed MIA was actually with the robot death squad and now either your current husband or your ex has to die (CHROMEDOME AND REWIND HAVE A LOT GOING ON OKAY), time travel, more cool robots, you know, normal scifi stuff.

D) Other cartoons I enjoyed: rescue bots is aimed at a younger audience, but if you, like me, are the kind of person who genuinely enjoyed/enjoys things like friendship is magic, you'll probably quite like it! My favorite character is Blades, who is a helicopter afraid of heights. Beast Wars has AMAZING voice acting and character development and exciting plots...... and also CGI that was, at the time, EXTREMELY impressive. Unfortunately the time was the 90s so parts of the animation have not aged too well. IT'S STILL SO GOOD I PROMISE.

E) If you just want one fun movie to watch, I highly recommend the 2018 Bumblebee movie. It's a very fun flick with robot-human bonding, Bumblebee being adorable, and a teeny taste of the larger robot world to whet your appetite.

you're a new student at Hawkins High and your parents are the most respectable and wealthy people....

your parents are having a hard time on which school that you can easily socialize with- it's not that you got a lot into trouble it's just that you're different than the others, the only friend that you ever had in your life is Steve Harrington- the most popular guy in town- you're childhood friends and both of your parents are like a member of the family so your bond is pretty solid.

you're nervous and shy about your first day at school but since your mom informed you that Steve goes to the same school- you calmed down a bit and get ready for school.

"Honey, hurry up you might missed your bus!" your mom exclaimed

"Yeah- I'm almost done!" you quickly ran into the table and grabbed your backpack

when you entered the school bus a lot of rumors going around the bus that you just pretend that you didn't hear it-

"oh my god isn't she the one from the Jones family that transferred to a lot of different schools because she couldn't fit in?" one girl student whispered to the other

"I think she's friends with Steve" laughs jokingly "why would someone like her could be friends with Steve?"

"oh her? I didn't know she's coming today it's her first day at school and yeah she's a new student." Dustin surprised that you came today

Eddie irritated groans at Dustin "why you didn't tell me that someone else is coming?"

Dustin confusingly looked at Eddie "hold up- Eddie are you okay? wow, this is the very first time that I saw you completely don't know what to do because of a GIRL!"

Eddie bits his bottom lip and before Dustin closes his locker door Eddie beats him into it slams door locker himself "oh yeah? fuck you- Henderson?! keep your voice down."

Dustin flinched closed his eyes for a sec and Eddie asked "so um- fill me in about her do you know more?"

"uh- all I know that she's friends with Steve and she comes from a wealthy family-

Eddie realization hits him as he remembers that Steve when they we're kids before mentioning a girl bestfriend, he's never seen Steve with a girl other than Nancy is his ex in the past, but he's positive that you're the one childhood bestfriend that he's talking about even Steve doesn't mention it's name. He can feel it.

"wait, is she a Jones?" Eddie cuts off Dustin before he can finished

"yeah- the one who transferred to different a lot of schools like- god knows how many there are-" Dustin while furrowing his brows out of confusion

"Hmm that's kinda interesting- do you know why she did it?" Eddie sparks interest at that information

"from what I heard from Steve said to me is that she can't make friends easily and some of the teachers from her last schools that she go to can't stand her." Dustin shrugs

so you arrived at your first class early and you can't pick which seat because all of them won't let you until you found Mike and Dustin on the same room and they have a an open seat next to them behind the back

"excuse me- Dustin, did you know-" Mike said

"Mike- she's a new student and she deserves a warm welcome to the school even though it's shit but we try to do something about it am I right? come on, Mike try to keep up." Dustin while he roll his eyes to Mike

you shouted and left all the class in shock

you look at the both of them and you suddenly felt this comfort in your heart and you haven't felt that in such a long time, for all the years you spent suffering in those past schools that you attended before- it's not that you found something about Eddie- maybe this school is different, maybe it's better where you can finally be happy and free and also make unexpected friendships and just be yourself.

"No it's okay- I only reacted that way because I've never encountered something like this." you nod to reassure them

"So we're cool then?" Dustin glares at you in concern

*Both of them looking at you for your approval*

"yeah- we're cool- don't worry about it."

*the three of you paid attention to the class and after 30 mins- the bell rang and it's time for lunch*

"oh- finally I'm starving." Dustin exclaimed

"I'll catch up with you Dustin! You can come with us, Amanda." Mike said while he tugs out a soft smile in the corner

"sure." You eyes light up at Mike because finally someone is nice to you and hoping that you guys will became friends

Eddie walking straight towards you and you feel your heartbeats so fast rapidly and you feel you're about to faint and you didn't even notice that you're hands are shaking and you don't understand what you're feeling right now and it feels like you have to get up from the table and ran away but you can't, you froze as he finally appears to the side of the table- looking at you from up and down

You can't even look at him in the eye and you don't even know why- maybe you had a crush on him? there's plenty of other students but he's the only one who can make you feel this nervous and right there at that moment you really want to get out of there and walk away from him

you try to get up until he stops you by holding your arm and you look back at him and finally you met his eyes- oh god- his eyes are so beautiful and you see him begging for you to stay even he doesn't say anything but somehow you already know it just by looking straight to his eyes

the tension is different- your heart flutters because of him holding your arm and you both didn't noticed that you're both staring for a long time and it felt like the time stops and the whole room is filled with silence you can't even hear the loud cafeteria anymore just him and you staring at each other

Eddie felt a connection towards you and he also doesn't understand why but he feels comfort just by looking at you and you feel the same way

you're both strangers- you didn't know him yet and he also doesn't know you that you even existed and god how he wished he already knew about you and kept thinking all over his head that where have you been all of his life? and you sudden had a thought about destiny, maybe this school is an only exception because of this moment you're having right now.

Eddie is the one who stopped the eye contact from you as he clears his throat and removes his hand from your arms and puts inside of his pockets breathing nervously

And you just wished he keep holding you until the school is over

you kept staring at him and you haven't gotten out of the trance yet and you see him blushing out of his cheeks and you realized what you're doing and that snapped out of you to go back to normal

you let out of a nervous chuckle "Oh- hi- I'm sorry-"

Eddie scratches the back of his neck as he thinks what he will do to make this not awkward and not fuck it up

you both sit down to the table and you feel like an idiot doing the same thing as he did and there's nothing funny about it but you just let out a smile on your face while looking down at the table

Eddie noticed it as he lets out a smirk on his face but he quickly removes it before you even noticed it and acts serious

"Uh- how are you?" Eddie asks with a concern on his eyes

you look at him with his soft chocolate button eyes and makes you wanna melt in his arms and never letting him go away

"I'm- I'm good, thank you." you said to him while you give him a sweet smile on your face

Eddie feels weak as he watch you smile at him and he is surprised you're not scared of him- well- all of the students we're afraid of him except for the friends he had on his club.

you on the other hand had the courage to speak up out of nowhere a sudden confidence not to feel awkward anymore cause you don't wanna waste this moment you're finally met him and you really want to be friends or maybe just maybe.... build a relationship?

"I'm Amanda, by the way" as you let out of hand in front of him offering him to shake hands with you

"They say that you love D&D, you have this club." you pointed out to his shirt while he looks down on it nodding on you. "You hate bullies, I am still confused why everybody is afraid of you like there's nothing to be afraid of, you're not even scary!" you scoffed and laugh while explaining it. Eddie face lights up to what of you just said and this makes him love you even more. "You um- sell drugs..." You shrugged "but I don't even mind it all." Eddie lets out of a soft sigh and smiled at you as he worriedly thought of you didn't want to be near at him anymore but here you are, so sweet and so kind to him "and oh- one more thing." You added. Eddie furrows his eyebrows in confusion. You pointed out again his whole outfit and my god you wanted to tell him how hot he is and you realized you really have a type and that's exactly him "judging by the way you dress, you have exquisite music taste." you smiled while looking back at him

"Wow" Eddie lets out an impressed expression in his face and applaused at you

"You got them all right, sweetheart, and yes I do have exquisite music taste." Eddie nods and leans at you while tugs out a smile on the side of his lips

"Sweetheart" right there you just wanna crawl up to him and kiss him

"and in fashion as well." while you tug out of your clothes and you smile at him again, how many times I smile back at this boy? You think to yourself

he giggled and smile at you again "I already know who you are as well but it's just a little information that I know about you."

He pouts while looking at you

"Aww, that's too bad, it's not my fault tho- your boys have a big mouth." You gesture to the table where Mike and Dustin sitting and you noticed there's another group of people with them and you already know they're part of his club too cuz all of them wore the same shirt.

"Yeah, I know" he laughed while he is still looking at you "I can't stand them sometimes but I do care a lot to all of them." while he looks at the boys on the other side, Your eyes sparked up of how he expresses his emotions without any shame he doesn't care if the others thinks that he is too soft towards his friends, he really meant it just by the tone of his voice and it makes your heart full about it.

You look down on your lunch and you noticed that it's only 20 minutes left for lunch

"I'm sure you do, Eddie." you smile at him and he look back at you with his soft eyes and smiled back at you and he stares at you AGAIN

you're the one who cut the eye contact off because there's not time for lunch anymore if you continue to look back at him again, you cleared your throat "I think we should eat lunch now." you giggled

Eddie realizes of what he's been doing and he hadn't thought of you that you might be hungry since the two of you interacted earlier and brushes his hands up to his face out of disappointment

While you're watching him and you can't help but laugh at his reaction, Eddie removes his hands away from his face as he watches you laughing. oh- your laugh, your sweet voice, makes his heart warm and he laughs with you as well

"oh god- yeah you're right- shit- I'm sorry, you can eat with us if you want." Eddie asks and wishing you would say yes

"yes, I'd love to." you smile at him as you both get up and walk back towards to the table where all of his friends already eating lunch

It became quiet when you and Eddie finally infront of them at the table

Gareth already knows what happened as Mike and Dustin explained earlier but he is still absolutely confused why Eddie is with you maybe it's because he isn't used seeing Eddie with a girl around.

Jeff smirks at the both of you and thought to himself of what good looking couple you both are.

Dustin gets up and whispers to you and said "we already told them everything just ignore them." And he look back at the gang and give them a cold side eye not to say or do anything stupid to make you feel uncomfortable and he sits back down.

"Um- hi?" you waved your hand at them shyly

Eddie looks at you and he smiles as he put his arm around your shoulder and you widen your eyes at his action and look up at him and thank goodness your cheeks didn't go red as you control yourself.

"Guys, please be nice, this is Amanda and I'm sure she will make a fine member to us." Eddie carefully explains to his boys

all of them rolls their eyes and groans

"We already know, Eddie" Gareth scoffed

"and we also already know that you like her." Jeff teasingly said as he smirks

"Right." Eddie said and he sats down at the center of the table while he sneered at Jeff

Jeff rolls his eyes at him

"Wait, I get it now, This is so obvious, the tension-" Gareth finally realizes but before he finished Eddie shouted "SHUT UP!" as Gareth sighs out of frustration.

"Okay, so about on Friday, after Hellfire, all of us are going to Steve's house and cuz it's movie night!" Dustin excitedly said

"Oh- shit, yeah I completely forgot about that what are we going to watch then?" Mike asks

"Harrington?" you asked while you leaned back at Dustin as he almost chokes on the sandwich and take a gulp of his Coke he looks back at you "oh my god, I'm sorry I didn't told you before, yeah I know him, we're buddies." as he runs his hands up and down to his thighs

"Well, um-" all of them watching you as you shift on your seat and look down out of embarrassment because you haven't gotten this much attention before and you're not used to it and you're surprised that they will listen to anything that you liked to say "I also love action and historical movies! but most of the time I just really enjoy every kind of movie genre, but, maybe that's just me, I'm a movie goer so, I guess I liked movies when it's good, it depends sometimes though if it's really shit and boring then I don't like it." you laughed and they all laughed as well

Eddie checking you out as he looks at you from top to bottom, your hair is brown beautiful volume layered haircut it's a little bit curled at the sides and he loves the way you put it on the other side when it's hitting your face and you style it so perfectly and nicely just the way he likes it and you have this rock n' roll hand sign pendant necklace and sword earrings and he notices that you have painted black nail polish with a black scrunchie on your right wrist and you also have a few rings and a simple black leather belt bracelet on your left wrist and his eyes widen as he realizes that you both somehow have the same taste and you wear an off shoulder long sleeve black blouse a little ruffled at the top of it with denim ripped jeans with Nike with beige, cream and rose colors on it as your shoes.

He still watches you, continue to talk about movies with all of them, your smile and laughter fills his heart with comfort, he wanted to be with you so bad.

You look back down on to your schedule and finding the next room that you're going to attend which is on the 2nd Floor and you noticed you're the only one left standing in the hallway and you turned around bumped infront of Eddie

You smile at him and move away from him a little bit and you asked him "Can you point out which direction is this room?"

He giggled and he lets his arm out for you to hold "You're very cute, you know that? Don't be embarrassed about it, You're doing fine just like Dustin said earlier, Don't apologize."

You hold his arm that he puts out for you and you look up at him with a smile at your face and he smiles back at you and he's happy that he made you smile, he doesn't see your disappointed expression anymore

You both arrived perfectly in time at English class and coincidentally there's two available seats available at the back and you both sat down together...

You both ignore the glares of your classmates giving you and he is also glad that you didn't care anything about them at all.

Finally, the teacher arrived and discusses as Eddie thinks is super boring but he looks at you very attentive at the middle of the class, you didn't even noticed that he's looking at you from time to time because you're so focused on the topic that the teacher is discussing, you're taking down notes.

He tears a piece of paper and scribble something down and gives it to you quickly before the teacher saw it while she's writing on the blackboard.

You looked down and look at Eddie with a smile on his face, you smiled so confused at him and you pick the piece of paper and hiding it from the teacher while you read it what it says.

"I would like to take you out on a date ;)" you giggled quietly and you scribble down as Eddie looking at you he leans in a little bit while he's trying to take a peek of what you're writing, you noticed this you turn away from him and you poke out your tongue at him.

He laughed and raises his both of his hands up while whispering "alright, alright."

You turn back and give the paper back to him, he unfolded it and read "That was fast, but I feel like we should get to know each other first, Eddie. But I'd love to go out with you soon. ♡"

Eddie's eyes softens while he's reading it, your handwriting is much as beautiful as you, and he looked back at you and you wink at him.

"Okay." he whispers to you and smiles back at you.

Eddie respects your decision, which is surprising to you because it's rare to have nice guys like him and you know for sure he will bring the best dates ever, If it happens.

You're glad you have the same classes with Eddie which makes it even better for you to come at school without being awkward. You feel comfortable spending time with him, it's only been one whole day that you met him and get to know him but it feels like you're been together for years, you get along with each other so easily and naturally. You both walk towards your locker, you remove your hand from Eddie's arm and you put your bag down to put stuff away from your locker.

"HEY, WATCH IT!" "ARE YOU BLIND FREAKS?" "WATCH WE'RE YOU GOING LOSERS!" but you all of you didn't care at all to everyone calling you guys out until you reached the destination.

It's a abandoned room filled with broken chairs and tables and you look around they designed it very well done with Mountain Dew cans everywhere but Eddie and the boys asks for permission to use this while he told you and their teacher lets them use it which is surprising to you.

You saw Dustin and Mike arguing with each other and you notice someone new to you and he looks at you and walk straight towards you "You must be Amanda, Hi, I'm Lucas, Lucas Sinclair! " gleefully greets you as he lets out his hand to shake your hands with you.

It's been an hour since the game started, you loved how dedicated Eddie is while he's storytelling to everyone.

Everyone goes out from the room still cheering you on as they still rambling about how amazing you are at the game, it's unbelievable to them that you did that and it was your first time playing but you did it so naturally....

Mike and Dustin gives you an unexpected hug from them before they go home and hug them back as they told you "See you tomorrow, Amanda!" You waved at them and you say "You too!"

Lucas hugs you as well and he pats down your back "You're so cool, I'm hoping to see you again soon." You smiled back at him "Not as cool as you, Sinclair." He laughs and waves bye to you.

While waving to Lucas, Gareth and Jeff appears beside you and you look at the both of them "I have never seen anyone defeated Eddie like that! You already beat him at lunch and now at his game!" Before you left the building you heard someone running behind you and you turn back and it's Eddie trying to keep up with you.

You go down while helped you get out of the van carefully he walks with you until you both reached the doorstep and turn around at him.

"Is that too much to process for a whole day of my first day to school?" You asked while you awkwardly chuckled and look back down.

Eddie shakes his head and reaches out to your chin and he tilts it back up and says "No, I would love to listen to you all day and I will be there for you whenever you want or needed someone to talk to." He looks both of your eyes and leans down to kiss your cheek.

You gasp at his action but you smile at him and he rubs your cheek as you let yourself rest it.

"I'm so proud of you even though I don't know the half of it yet, I'm not asking you to tell me everything but if you're just ready, I'll be there for you always, you don't deserve anything that happened to you and don't ever doubt and blame yourself of it, it's not your fault, I don't know why am I felt this way to you I know it's coming all so fast but fuck it breaks my heart seeing you like this, don't ever shut yourself to anyone."

You're very right in many of the things you said. chwn has many complicated feelings that stem from the fact that she's no one's priority in the family. Her little brothers are close in age and they're Alphas so they generally bond with each other and also they're younger so she doesn't want to play with them anyway. And also they probably look up to dh more because he's a boy, even if he's an Omega, while she's the stereotypical girl who likes girl things and makeup and boys, you know?

Generally in that family her role should be 'the only girl' and normally the only girl is a little spoiled, but her parents have always paid attention to dh because they didn't want him to think he was lacking something for being a male Omega, which means she was never the center of attention as the only daughter. Plus, dh is like very academically gifted, which she isn't, so he always outstaged her in that field too. So what did she do? She turned to the things that made her stand out from her brothers, as in being pretty and dating boys. Except even in that dh literally stole her thunder because she's a Beta and he's an Omega so even if guys are het they would still be attracted to him on a physical level. This was even before what happened with jmn. chwn has had a crush on mrk and has realized quite early on that she never stood a chance, but what happened with jmn was the last she could stand.

Still, I do believe the way she's behaving is quite wrong. The reason dh is always at the center of attention is that he leaves in a society where he's heavily discriminated and always made feel like he was wrong. His parents tried to overcompensate by supporting him completely, and even then they couldn't totally keep him safe because as you know he still developed a lot of self-esteem issues and internalized shame. Plus, no matter how we look at it, dh is an Omega who will never be able to have children. It might not affect his life too much but it's still a disability and something he'll have to live with for the rest of his life. Is it fair to chwn that she has to suck it up just because her brother was born like this? Nope, but at the end of the day if we put their problems on a scale, is having Donghyuck as a brother really a problem for her? Her parents are not really neglecting her, she's not forbidden from pursuing her passions, she has no less opportunities than any of her brothers to do everything she wants. The reason she's throwing a tantrum is basically because she's not in the spotlight the way she wants, but I'd say it's not that grave of an issue when dh has to deal with both mental and physical health problems, having to take medicines to keep his hormones in control, having a bad reputation because he sleeps around, knowing it'll be hard for him to find a mate since he cannot provide a family, and on top of that his sister slutshames him both in front and at his back. Like, grow up? At this point it's not that people like her brother more because he's an Omega, but because she's childish and a little bit of an attention-grabber, and there's nothing wrong with wanting attention, but it's a problem when you hate other people for supposedly outstaging you.

As for what happened with jmn, that was the best thing he could do. You're right, he could've coddled up to her and assured it wasn't going to happen again, but the fact that she wanted to dictate who he was seeing was wrong. The fact that she pulled a me or him was wrong. Jmn didn't break up with her because he prefers her brother, but because if he had given up on this he would've rewarded a honestly fucked up, controlling, and toxic behavior, and that's no way to be in a relationship. Chwn needs to let go of her insecurity in order to be someone who can be happy and who can make other people happy, but jmn is not her therapist and he should not be the only one shouldering her trauma. He would have, tbh. He would've stayed and he would've helped her, but she was the one who said we do it my way or not at all, and if that's the premise all the love in the world wouldn't make things work, let alone a few months old relationship between teenagers.

What did you think of the LOST finale?

still processing but overall i think i liked it!

i'm a little disappointed that the flash-sideways was purgatory/the afterlife/whatever. i really liked the idea of it being a whole alternate universe, where they're aware of the bonds they have with one another without having to go through the actual trauma of the plane crash. i wanted to see them go on to live these mostly-normal lives and live happily ever after together, and i think it totally would've worked with the whole time travel element. but i didn't dislike that it was purgatory. i think it was an interesting idea it just wasn't what i had theorized lol. i'm glad that the island itself wasn't purgatory — i keep hearing about that theory and i would've hated that.

but i liked how everything on the island was wrapped up. hurley and ben staying behind to protect the island makes sense to me — hurley is the most "good" so him wanting to protect against evil felt fitting, and with ben having given up everything for the island i don't see him ever leaving.

i was nervous that they were going to kill off claire or leave her behind on the island, and i'm glad they didn't. also, it hurts my heart how she never felt good enough for her son, but i love how she and kate are going to raise aaron together <3

i find it really interesting how the show brings up the idea of fate/destiny over & over again but it wasn't fate that brought them to the island, it was a conscious choice by jacob who selected them to come. i guess in a way that's sort of destiny, it's a purpose they have that they don't know about and they didn't choose. i was thinking more of fate as in an amorphous force, so it definitely wasn't what i was expecting 🤔

there were a few things that i would have liked to get more answers about. i feel like i didn't totally get the full story about the cursed numbers, or how desmond not pushing the button crashed the plane (although they could have fully explained this and i just missed it, i haven't finished going through the lost wiki and i'm only like halfway through billiam's videos about lost).

also i literally cried at multiple points, including when they all were at the concert together in the flash-sideways and also when vincent laid by jack as he died at the very end. 😭

but yeah, overall i liked it! the characters i liked had reasonable endings to their arcs and most of the mysteries i cared about were explained. there are things i would've done differently, but i think that's easy for me to say as an unpublished wannabe novelist and not a writer for a huge network television show lmao.

the fact that no one else ever found out it was alicia makes me wonder if everyone just kept on thinking it was rash. because if noel was telling people that ethan thought it was rash, and then they found out that whoever it was had been found out and the blog stopped, they would just assume that he was right wouldn't they? except that rash wasn't aware that ethan ever thought it was him so it would be funny if someone just mentioned it offhandedly sometime in the future and rash would be confused why everyone thought it was him and then they would all be confused because they'd spend so long just assuming that it was sjdsjjsf

aw yeah she's speaking to bea after eddie's gone and says she knows that it was eddie who asked her to take over and to hide the mistake but the fact she played along made her just as culpable, but she says that "playing the game" as in passing blame to score points isn't the only way and that she sees something in her. go on bea!!!

Let's talk about Yayoi, and what we understand of Akihiko and his changing feelings towards Ugetsu and Haruki through her eyes and behavior.

I call it the curious case of one Kaji Akihiko.

I feel like Yayoi has known Akihiko for longer than Haruki.

They're in the same year, so it seems feasible.

And one of Yayoi's first impressions of Aki was that he wouldn't hide whom he loved at all. His eyes always followed them.

(Yeah its not like he changed. its just that NOW HE CAN BE HIMSELF)

So she knew of Ugetsu and should've known that she had no chance right?

But still she jokingly confessed to Aki, and he turned her down.

Yet she didn't give up entirely.

I'm guessing Aki's behavior towards the person she thought he had a crush on changed somehow, and that gave her hope that she could still have a chance, even if a little bit?

So, even after she was rejected we had seen her riding together with Akihiko. Or them being friendly in the campus.

Akihiko seems pretty fond of her. He has a tendency of taking care of people he likes anyway. And he likes Yayoi, that much is evident.

So much so, that Haruki thinks that she is his girlfriend.

Akihiko's behavior is pretty curious here too. We know that he was trying to hide his shameful gigolo image from Haruki.

Like here, in this flashback, he noticed Haruki and he was all like, 'don't talk to me now.' to his companion.

It's more like he wants Haruki to notice him with this respectable beautiful girl, (who also happens to be Ritsuka's sister. Yayoi is NOT harmful for his image in front of Haruki.)

It's more or less clear that at this point of time Akihiko wasn't thinking of ever trying to woo Haruki, or date him. He was just hiding his true self and his ugly relationship and his shameful lifestyle from Haruki as not to make him hate him, or see him as inferior.

But it didn't change the fact that he was inadvertently falling in love with Haruki.

(Here's one thing I am sure of, Akihiko met Haruki right after Ugetsu broke up with him out of nowhere, and it was from the very first meeting that Haruki became his savior, his go to comfort blanket if you will.)

Well, so going back to Yayoi, she went to the summer competition, of course for Ritsuka, but more importantly to try to get closer to Akihiko.

She totally wasn't aware of Haruki at this time. But she was wary of Ugetsu, as she should've been. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just look at her face when Ugetsu showed up here.

(Also notice Akihiko's expression here please! He is so on edge that Ugetsu actually showed up at his safe place, his band's performance! 😭 I always say every panel and every expression in given matters and just please please please pay attention to them.)

Ah! These panels are hilarious, they were funny the first time I read them, but in retrospect, they are even funnier.

Haruki jealous of the person he thinks is Akihiko's girlfriend, that alleged girlfriend Yayoi wary of the person she thinks Akihiko is in love with but may be slowly getting over.

And ugetsu all smug.

He has no idea what's gonna hit him LMAO.

Anyyyway, here's where things get interesting.

At this point Akihiko had trauma bonding with Ugetsu, but he had fallen in love with Haruki.

From right after Ugetsu showed up, Akihiko's behavior is noteworthy. He is on edge and extra clingy to Haruki.

Just look at his face here. He didn't have any reason to be that shaken here in normal circumstances.

And then in the very next panel we have this Yayoi, noticing the look on Akihiko's face looking at Haruki. We can't see his eyes, keeping true to Kizu's style.

But yeah it's the very next panels. And what she sees is Akihiko for no reason at all following Haruki like a lost puppy.

Really, he didn't need to follow Haruki like that that very moment.

Ritsuka had already took off, things had been taken care of.

He just needed to be closer to Haruki to calm his nerves, what with Ugetsu's presence putting more pressure on him.

And notice these panels of Yayoi, uncanny similarity with Ugetsu's "bye bye Akihiko" while he goes chasing after Haruki.

And then we see Haruki as the one totally in charge here. Looking after everyone, calming everyone down.

The moment Haruki is trying to go do things a little away from Akihiko, Akihiko is all like, I will go with you too!

He is not needed there, Haru isn't even looking at him, Take Chan is one of the organizers and obviously Haruki is the one to set everything up for their band.

He just can't be away from Haruki for a moment.

And he needs Haruki to look at him, pay attention to him.

Yes, he wants Haruki to know how important Haruki is for them and their band, but that's more for his own sake than Haruki's sake here.

Haruki might not have noticed, and we might have not noticed the first time reading it, but really, Haruki just saved Akihiko here again too. Not the band, but Akihiko himself.

And how cute is his “I might end up dying too?” Knowing full well Haruki would react the way he did? He just wanted Haruki to care for him😭

And Yayoi witnessed it, and witnessed Akihiko looking at Haruki during the performance. And how heartbroken she must had been, to know that Akihiko is surely getting over one person, but has fallen for another one like this, too deep, too desperate? And it's not her?

Her love remained one sided.

Thank God for Take Chan!

He is way better for Yayoi than Akihiko could ever be anyway. 😭
