shen yuan and bingge deserve be adventuring buddies . I need binghe bumping into shen yuan on his way to get wife plot cure #734 and allowing shen yuan to join him because he's bored. binghe finding a treasure trove and readying xin mo to kill the man accompanying him because shen yuan is no doubt coveting the gold and planning to betray binghe. binghe pointing his sword at shen yuan's back and finding him looking at historic murals and copying them down in his notebook. shen yuan says this is exactly what he was looking for and binghe quickly sheathes his sword before shen yuan closes his journal and turns around.
shen yuan: travelling with the protagonist shouldnt be too dangerous as long as I don't piss him off, right? besides there are so many mechanisms in pidw that only open for Binghe... i could spend years looking for artifacts that Binghe can stumble across in a day!
binghe is constantly seeking out some rare plant or trying to complete a quest. shen yuan is trying to explore pidw as much as possible because the world building is actually really good. they find themselves on the same trail so often, one day shen yuan just wakes up in his inn room to binghe standing over him saying "wake up, I'm going to the northern territories today." while Shen Yuan is screaming because why are you in my room!?
Usually Binghe prefers to do things solo but Shen Yuan isn't an unwelcome change of pace... for one thing he's not always slowing him down and can defend himself. for another he's... weirdly loyal to binghe. a bandit group ambushes them one day and shen yuan almost dies defending binghe. (binghe makes sure the entire organization is wiped out)
Binghe's wife: if the two of us don't find [wife plot artifact] I'll die! we must set out immediately!
Binghe: you stay here. I'll go
Her: But the legend says it needs two people or it wont reveal itself
Binghe: yeah I've got someone to go with
Her: ... hello????? this is supposed to be my romantic adventure ??????

Team Phantom - Extended Edition
EbonyDarkness - Hey freeloaders, I found some options for us. ping so I know I have everyone’s attention
PollyPocket - here because we legit just narrowed these down together
AmityUnsolved - Here!
IToldYouSo - here, hoping for one close to public transit
TaeKwanDo - same buddy
DashingDash - hey, i’m gonna be paying some sort of rent whether you like it or not, I’m no freeloader.
PharaohTuck - i on the other hand am gladly claiming the title
AStarIsBorn - here but lurking, I’m getting ready to go out tonight
IShotFirst - same, but also paying attention so I can roast these places if need be
SpaceCase - I’m hoping for a place that directly crosses a leyline, then I can put a door to the gz in a closet
IToldYouSo - dude what even is your powerset
SpaceCase - come over sometime and I’ll show you the updated files, honestly we should probably all meet up in the ops center soon, it’s been too long
EbonyDarkness - agreed, we can plan that later, for now we have our options
EbonyDarkness - option one is the most customisable. It’s a block of apartments with a courtyard in the center
EbonyDarkness - it is however in a place known as Crime Alley
PharaohTuck - um how about no
PollyPocket - we could invest in a really good security system
PollyPocket - fenton, wouldn’t your parents be able to make a shield to go around the place?
SpaceCase - uh probably, but I’d rather we stay off the radar of the local vigilantes as long as possible
SpaceCase - plus isn’t there a whole ass crime lord that runs that place?
IToldYouSo - I still say he’s the second Robin
EbonyDarkness - FOCUS!
EbonyDarkness - option two is an old hotel with a restaurant on the first floor and a pool on the tenth
EbonyDarkness - we would be purchasing it from the Penguin however
PollyPocket - he’s said he’s gone straight and has been for at least a year according to the articles I had wes look up for me
PollyPocket - thank you again for that @IToldYouSo
IToldYouSo - no problem, anytime really, just ask
EbonyDarkness - moving on
EbonyDarkness - option three is my personal favorite
EbonyDarkness - it’s a large manor with a few acres of land
EbonyDarkness - it’s on the outskirts of Gotham proper though, so we’d have to drive into the city
EbonyDarkness - we’d be purchasing it from Timothy Drake-Wayne and be neighbors with Brucie Wayne
EbonyDarkness - mom actually tipped me off to this and got me Tim’s number because she remembered hearing him complain about needing to sell the place at a gala she recently attended
PharaohTuck - Sam.
PharaohTuck - Are you telling me you have Tim Drake-Wayne’s personal cell phone number???
EbonyDarkness - please don’t be weird about this
PharaohTuck - I will try my best. My vote is the manor.
PharaohTuck - I’m going to go scream now.
EbonyDarkness - we don’t have to vote just yet, I’m gonna put all the details in the drive
EbonyDarkness - there were some weird stipulations for the manor too
EbonyDarkness - he wanted to be able to still store the artifacts his parents had collected until he could find proper homes for them and warned us not to explore the caves under the mansion, that there was a gas down there or something
DashingDash - kinda sus ngl
TaeKwanDo - I mean, he probably wants to preserve his parents' stuff, didn’t they both die in really shitty ways?
AmityUnsolved. - According to the news reports I found, yeah, it wasn’t great.
SpaceCase - looking at the map we were able to put together of magic sources around Gotham it looks like all three of these places are close enough to certain ley lines or thinning of the veil that I can safely have a door to the gz without needing an outside source of power
EbonyDarkness - sick
EbonyDarkness - I put all the info in the drive, everybody research it, we can vote on it when we meet up
EbonyDarkness - I’m thinking this friday night? anybody busy?
SpaceCase - barring ghost shit I’m good
PharaohTuck - I’ll be there.
PollyPocket - I’ll bring sodas! No offense fenton, but I don’t trust anything in your house
SpaceCase - none taken
IShotFirst - If someone wants to pick me up from work and help me haul it, I can bring Nasty Burger for everyone
DashingDash - I can grab you once I’m done at the shop
IShotFirst - sounds good to me, I’m off at 6
DashingDash - bet
TaeKwanDo - could somebody pick me up after my shift at the shelter? I’m off at 4
AmityUnsolved - I can pick you up if it’s okay with Wes that we start and end a bit early for this week’s podcast?
IToldYouSo - I’m cool with that
EbonyDarkness - Cool, so 6:30 at earliest at FentonWorks this friday
Amity Parkers moving to Gotham for college. Sam and Paulina pooling their trust funds together to buy an abandoned hotel and fitting it as apartments for everybody. They all train together in the courtyard to keep their skills up and just because it's fun. Suddenly an influx of super competent self-trained (or maybe ghost-trained) young adults.
Everybody having their little niches and suddenly they all have more free time that's not being taken up by ghost attacks so many of them started different YouTube channels with info they found out from the ghostly residents of Amity. Star and Paulina running a history of beauty channel going over makeup, hair styles and fashion, special guest Sam when going over alt fashions. Dash and Kwan running one on the history of sports. Wes and Mikey running a conspiracy theory podcast. Valerie running a martial arts channel. Danny just info-dumping about space and spacecraft in videos that range from 45 minutes to four hours. Tucker running a how-to channel for fixing tech and coding. Sam running a combination true crime and witchy channel. The Trio running a Let's Play channel.
Ghostly things happening in all of the videos and everybody guesting on everybody else's channels leads to everybody thinking it's all an elaborate ARG. Danny just floating through the walls half-asleep with a glowing shaker bottle in the background. Some of them when they're in the middle of a rant seem to forget to take a breath or their eyes or freckles start glowing. On a livestream Paulina snaps at somebody off screen and her eyes are suddenly glowing green. Danielle pops in during a charity livestream that the Trio are running and calls Danny-Daddy, Sam-Mom, and Tucker-Dad and is just floating on the back of the couch. Danny doing a stream to watch a rocket take off and suddenly a robe and crown flash and he disappears in a flash of green and the stream is just dead space until the rocket's about to take off and Danny comes running in and jumps over the back of his chair to watch it and cheer.

ENJOY!
Walking into the house, you were immediately surrounded by sweaty, sticky bodies. You grimaced at the overwhelming feeling and tried to find a space where you could catch your breath. The kitchen was relatively empty, except for a couple making out on the counter. You decided to mind your own business, reaching into the fridge and navigating past cans and bottles of beer to grab a water bottle hidden at the back.
You twisted the cap off and took a long sip. Everyone was dressed up differently, which made sense—it was Halloween. Instead of babysitting your little cousins, you’d faked being sick to your parents, dressed up, and come to the Alpha Phi house. This wasn’t like you at all. The top student in your class, the teacher’s pet, the early-assignment submitter, the girl who became a TA in her junior year—you were the “good girl.”
So why were you here? Because you’d overheard some girls talking about the infamous Halloween party that the Alpha Phi guys threw every year. And you weren’t the type who usually went to parties. So why this one? Because you’d heard that Steve Rogers was going to show up, and you had a little crush on the star player of the varsity ice hockey team. You’d been trying to muster the courage to talk to him ever since you sat next to him in a lab in your first year. That was two years ago, and you’d been harbouring feelings for him ever since.
Your heart did a little flip every time he smiled at you when you passed him in the halls. Finishing your water, you threw the bottle in the recycling bin and tugged your tutu down to avoid a wedgie. The ballerina costume was a last-minute, twenty-dollar buy, but you were happy with it—the corseted top accentuated your chest, and though the sheer tights were a bit snug, it didn’t bother you too much.
You were making your way through the crowd and spotted a tuft of blond hair. Your heart flipped again. This was it, the perfect moment. You were going to ask Steve if he wanted to go out sometime. He was tipsy enough to say yes, and if he said no, he’d be too focused on his hangover tomorrow to remember your question. You took a deep breath and started toward him.
Then you saw them. You’d thought the rumours weren’t true, that they couldn’t be real. But the sight of Steve Rogers making out with Peggy Carter would be forever etched in your mind, because the pain in your heart was unbearable. You stood frozen, your heart thudding in your chest as you watched Steve's hands roam over Peggy’s body. You clenched your jaw and sniffled, rooted to the spot.
You only snapped out of it when someone spilled their drink on you. “Damn, sorry, gorgeous,” a guy dressed as Fred from Scooby-Doo winked at you drunkenly before chuckling and moving away. You shook your head, trying to clean the alcohol off your costume.
“Hey, buddy. I think you owe the girl a real apology,” another voice piped up. You looked up to see a towering figure dressed as Ghostface, holding Fred by the shoulder. “Now, say you’re sorry—like you really mean it, and none of that half-assed stuff because you’re shitfaced,” Ghostface ordered, crossing his arms. Fred straightened up, looked you in the eye, and apologized sincerely. Ghostface nodded approvingly and sent him away.
Before you realized it, Ghostface had moved closer to you. You turned to see him looking you over, his mask bobbing as if inspecting your costume. He clicked his tongue and put a hand on the small of your back. “C’mon, let’s get you cleaned up, yeah?”
You both walked upstairs, where the sounds of the party gradually faded, and you were grateful for the quiet. You hesitated when he opened a door and gestured for you to go in.
For the first time that night, you spoke up. “Um, I’m sorry, but I don’t even know who you are.”
The chuckle that followed freaked you out a little, but then he reached up to remove the mask.
James. Freaking. Barnes.
You tried your best to mask your surprise, but you were sure he saw it, because the corners of his lips lifted into a smirk.
James “Bucky” Barnes—the captain of the varsity ice hockey team, a good student, a charmer, the president of Alpha Phi, and most importantly, the best friend of Steve Rogers.
You’ve met James a few times here and there. During some of the varsity games. And passed him in the dorms sometimes. He never caused you any trouble. He even offered to help you move-in in your second year when he clearly saw you struggle push your luggage up the stairs.
You were just acquaintances.
You swallowed and timidly walked into the pristine room, surprised by its immaculate condition. “I certainly didn’t expect a frat president to have such a clean room,” you muttered, hearing James laugh at your comment as he closed the door.
“Well, I don’t work well in a messy environment,” he shrugged and walked closer, his gaze trailing over your corset. You backed up slightly at the intensity of his approach, making him huff a laugh. “I don’t bite, princess,” he said, his fingers grazing the edge of your corset.
He gently guided you to the adjoining bathroom. “I’ll have to wash it out a bit. So, if you don’t mind getting your tutu a little damp, princess…,” he led, waiting for your response. You shook your head, signalling it was fine. He nodded toward the counter, and you hopped onto it.
He wetted a towel and began dabbing it on your clothes. “So, what’s a timid thing like you doing at a fraternity party?” he whispered, his focus on cleaning up the stain. You glanced at his concentrated face before looking away. “What? Can’t a girl come to a party?” you replied, defensively, for some reason.
James chuckled, “Oh, a girl can come to a party. But you, you’re not that type of girl, princess.” You raised an eyebrow at him, puzzled by his statement. “I mean, you never come to parties in general. So why the sudden appearance?” He sighed and caged you between his arms.
You tensed, starting to stammer. “Well, I wanted to see someone,” you shrugged, looking down at your hands.
“Yeah?” James asked, his gaze piercing. “Who was the special guy?”
You looked up at him through your lashes, then quickly looked away. He used two fingers to tilt your face toward him. “Eyes on me, princess,” he said softly.
“Steve. I came to ask Steve out…,” you admitted, spilling your secret.
James looked at you with you look, you couldn’t decipher what it was. But you didn’t know what to feel about it. He looked into your eyes for so long, you started to tear up due to the lack of blinking.
“Steve…,” he dragged it, and it made you wonder why. But you didn’t question it.
He continued to dab the wet cloth to your clothes. “You didn’t have to do that you know… The, um, asking the guy to apologize to me,” you broke the silence, because you couldn’t take the stuffy air that was in between the both of you.
James shook his head and chuckled as he dabbed on your neckline. “If I didn’t my Ma would scold my ear off if she knew. And, besides, a pretty girl needs to be treated right.”
You’re breathing stops at that, and you looked up at him with a confused look. He smirked at your expression, “what?” You shook you head and asked him, “you think I’m pretty?”
James scoffed and nodded, “I would have to be blind if I didn’t think your stunning, princess.”
You didn’t realise but your lips and James’ were a hair breadths away. “James…,” you tried to start but James beat you to it, “Bucky, princess. Call me Bucky.”
You gulped and nodded.
“Bucky.”
He groaned at they way his named sounded on your tongue. “Princess, your killin’ me here,” he whispered more to himself than at you. His knuckles gripped onto the counter tight. “Please…,” he muttered.
“Pardon?” you didn’t catch what he said.
“Please let me kiss you.”
You froze, you didn’t know what to do.
You always thought Bucky was hot. Hotter than Steve, but you never had any classes with him to fully judge him. You were a hundred percent sure that if Bucky was your lab partner instead of Steve, you’d totally be crushing on Bucky instead.
And if that were the case, you’d be nodding your head like a mad man. Steve was taken, you were still recovering from that. Bucky, apparently, liked you. Liked you more than you thought he did.
You saw the way his gaze flickered from your eyes to you lips and back to your eyes. Your tongue darted out to wet your lips, and saw his pupils dilate at the movement.
“I-,” you started but your thoughts were washed away when you saw Bucky lick his lips too. You heart thuds in your chest as you feel like the whole world is dark and the spotlight is just on you with the way Bucky looks like you. There’s a small part of you that wanted to feel how his lips would feel against you.
So, you nodded.
Before you knew it, Bucky was standing between your legs and gripping your hips. He then pulled you close and smashed his lips on yours. You took a second to understand what was going on, but when your conscious did come back to you cupped his face and kissed him back.
He licked at your bottom lip asking your permission to open up your mouth and you allowed it immediately. Soon your tongues were dancing together, yours was meek and shy letting Bucky do all the taking over. You wrapped your arms around his neck and whimpers against his mouth, which just made him groan against you.
He moved his lips from your mouth to your jaw, then to your neck. You tilted your head to give him more access, and the more you let him the more your whimpers turn to moans.
He moves his hands all over your body, “this okay, princess?” He whispered against your skin, and you nodded fervently and grasped at his black cloak. You felt him palm at your chest, and you sighed and whispered a, “more, Bucky, please.” He nodded against your skin and moved his hands up your thighs and squeezes the flesh of your thighs.
You felt the heat pool between your things and squeezed them together. Bucky smirked and pushed them away, “nuh uh, none o’ that.” He got closer to you, and you wrapped your legs around his hips and chuckled. His hands moved to your inner thighs, and you gasped out, the wetness pooling more into your underwear.
You felt his knuckles brushed against your core and you whimpered and dropped your head against his shoulder. “Please, Bucky,” you muttered against his costume. Without any other word he ripped your tights at the centre and felt the wet path of white cotton.
“Oh princess, so wet f’me already?” Bucky snickered and you nodded at his question.  He rubbed his knuckles against your cunt’s lips and pressed his fingers harder when he heard your soft mewl. “You like it don’t you, princess?” To which you nodded again and whispered his name breathlessly.
He pushed your underwear aside and sunk his thick fingers in, and you whined at the intrusion. The sweet stretch felt better than your own meek fingers and soon Bucky was pumping his fingers in and out making your legs shake. “I’m not even rubbing your clit, princess. Your legs are already shaking,” he whispered roughly against your ear.
His thumb started to rub at your clit and that’s when you lost your mind. You mewled and moaned his name as his fingers were rubbing that deep spot in you and his thumb playing with your button has you becoming a wailing mess. He bends down and started to attack your neck. “Fuck, Bucky. Please,” you cried out as you feel your impending orgasm start to build at your core.
Bucky roughly rubbed at your clit and within seconds your gushed around his fingers. You sighed and untensed your shoulders. Bucky brought his fingers to his mouth, closed his eyes and licked them clean. You whimpered at the sight.
You both leaned in and captured the other in a deep kiss, Bucky picked you up like you weighed nothing and exited the bathroom and walked until he placed you down on his bed.
He pulled the Ghostface mask down and leaned to tower over you. You bit your lip, and he chuckled, “didn’t know princess was a bit freaky, hmm?” He unbuckled his belt under the cloak, and you took off your tutu and tossed it somewhere in his room.
When he managed to get his cock out of his pants, your eyes widened as the sheer size of him and then looked at him to see the small smirk that was painted on his lips. “Something wrong, princess?” You gulped and said, “it’s not gonna fit.”
Bucky chuckled and leaned over you once more and whispered into your ear, “we’ll make it fit, princess.” The tone he used made you shiver, and you gripped onto his shoulders and readied yourself. Bucky ran his shaft up and down you’re sit and you whined desperately.
“Bucky, please. I need you,” you squeezed your eyes shut and threw your head back. He tapped your cheek with two fingers and said, “eyes on me, princess.” And with that Bucky slowly pushed inside you. The stretch was so deliciously sweet and painful it made you lose your mind. You both gasped at the feeling of him moving further into you.
“Fuck, princess. You’re so tight,” he grits out as he starts to slowly thrust in and out of you. Your legs wrapped tightly around his waist and your nails raked down his back and he let out a deep moan which made goosebumps raise on your skin.
The sound of skin slapping on skin wasn’t’ as loud as your wails of Bucky’s name and moans. When the tip of him tapped against that spot in you, your eyes rolled to the back of your mind and you squealed, “Bucky right there, oh! Right there!”
Bucky grabbed a hold of the headboard and thrusted harder into you, aiming at that same spot and you felt tears run down the side of face in pleasure. “Fuck, princess. Gripping me like a vice,” he purses his lips as he knocked his hips against yours.
You felt the sheer length of him move in and out of you, your walls embraced him like he was meant to be there in the first place. “Attagirl. Take what I give you, yeah?” He huffed against your ear. The coarse patch of pubic hair that rested at the bottom of his happy trail, rubbed against your clit giving your that nice friction and it made you whine even more.
He pressed a hand against your abdomen and pressed down harder and it made the feeling even better. He saw how you reacted and pressed down harder, and you arched your back at the feeling. With that you felt the climax in you start to rise, “Bucky, I’m so close.” You whimpered as you watched the man wearing the Ghostface mask rut into you expertly.
He threw your legs over his shoulders and rutted into your harder, the band at your core bends and bends until it finally snapped and soon you were coming around Bucky’s cock.
Bucky groaned deeply at you squeezing him tightly, he pulled out and you whined at the loss of the feeling. He was fisting his length at the sight of you post orgasmic bliss and it looked so hot from your perspective. You quickly got on your knees and replaced Bucky’s hand with yours. “Fucking hell, princess,” he ran a hand through your hair and bunched it up at the back of your head. “That’s it, making me feel so good,” he sighed and threw his head back.
He groaned when you parted your lips, the mushroom head of his member inches away from your mouth. He tipped his head back, “fuck I’m so close.” And soon you felt his warm spent spill down your throat. Bucky moaned at the sight, and his chest reverberated deeply when he saw you swallow.
He pushed you down to lay on your back again and he then he laid next to you. You reached up and took of his Ghostface mask so you can his face. “That desperate to see my face? Hmm?” He smirked at your action. You shook your head and chuckled shyly, “maybe.”
Bucky reached up and caressed your face. “You know you’re really pretty right, princess?” You blushed at his comment, “buy me dinner first, Barnes.” Bucky chuckled and then nodded, “are you free this weekend?”
You froze, “you can’t be serious.”
“Well, I kinda am.”
“You are a piece of work James Barnes,”
“Should I take that as a, yes?”
You chuckled and shook your head; you gave him a soft smile.
“I’m taking that as a yes, princess.”

No Need to Worry Over Sunshine
(This is connected to this short little post. This is also inspired @anastasiariley10123’s comment and @froginmygarden’s reblog of that post :D)
Marvel had been missing for a week. A whole week. He always comes to the Watchtower at least once a day! Yet hadn’t come all week! Anyone who messaged him on the communicators weren’t even getting any ‘:D’s too! They’re just getting ‘:)’s! Something was totally wrong. So imagine their surprise and slight horror when Flash went spilled some critical information when Clark and Hal came to relieve them from monitor duty.
After the monitor duty with Marvel…
Marvel: *dipped out so fast to not have to deal with the stares*
GL: *didn’t see the gray* “What’s with him?”
Supes: *peaks out of the monitor room to see Marvel turning a corner out of sight* “Is Cap alright?”
Flash: *sitting, wondering if Marvel is dying or something*
GL: “Wally…? Buddy? You good?”
Flash: “IthinkMarvelisdying.” *says super fast*
GL: “What?”
Supes: “What?!” *actually understood him*
Flash: “I think Marvel is dying.”
GL and Supes: *share a look*
Supes: “Wha- Why? Why do you think that?”
Flash: “Well, he’s going gray.”
GL: “Again, what?”
Flash: “And when I asked him about it, he nearly had a mental breakdown.”
Supes and GL: *share another look*
Supes: “Uhm… Did you ask him why he’s gray?
Flash: “Well, no, but-”
GL: *watching the monitors* “Aw shoot. Aliens in Metropolis.”
Supes, Flash, GL: *groans of annoyance*
Supes: “We’ll talk about this later.”
A little bit later…
JL: *just finished fighting the aliens*
Aquaman: “Geez, I can’t believe this is a weekly occurrence.” *looks at Marvel for a second before doing a double take* “What the hell happened to your hair?”
Marvel: “Huh? Uh…” *forgot to do a charm spell to cover the grey*
WW: “Brother, are you alright? You certainly shouldn’t be graying at your age.”
Other JL: *crowding Marvel in concern*
Marvel: “I mean, I am getting old Diana.”
WW: “Old? Brother you said you were nine.”
Flash: “Nine?”
WW: “Nine as in nine thousand years old.”
Marvel: “Uhm… Well, no. It’s more like nine…”
Solomon: “Go bigger, Billy.”
Marvel: “…hundred thousand.”
JL besides Marvel: *looks of utter shock (😟)*
Marvel: “So… yeah.” *awkward smile*
Flash: *sounds and looks horrified* “SO I WAS RIGHT! YOU ARE SO GONNA DIE!”
Marvel: “WHAT. No! I’m not gonna die! I have at least another hundred thousand years!”
They were all extremely relieved when they found that out. He’d outlive them all, which now that they thought about, was actually terrible for Marvel. But hey! At least he has a little lot of time left.
A little bit later…
Batman: “Were you a caveman?”
Marvel: “Hmm? Yeah.”
Also, someone recorded this entire interaction with a drone after the attack. People are calling him a silver fox now. He actually considered killing himself. (He said that outloud and the JL looked at him like 😨. Marvel: just kidding guys :D)

Homecoming Hugs-
Quinn hughes x reader
No warnings but this one is one of my favourites
Tumblr media
The clock ticked to 2:00 a.m. when Quinn Hughes finally arrived home after a long, four-day road trip. Exhausted but grateful to be back, he quietly turned his key, slipping through the door with a practiced stealth. The house was dark and quiet, and he smiled to himself, hoping he wouldn’t wake anyone.
With soft steps, he set down his bag and took off his shoes, padding his way to the bedroom. As he passed down the hallway, he paused outside Charles’s room, peeking in at his son’s small figure tucked under a mountain of blankets. Charles was just five years old, full of boundless energy and wide-eyed wonder, and Quinn always looked forward to coming home to his bright little smile.
Finally, he slipped into his room, seeing Y/N curled up in bed. She looked so peaceful, her breaths even and steady. He knew she’d probably stayed up late herself, waiting up until she couldn’t keep her eyes open any longer.
Quietly, he changed into more comfortable clothes and began to settle in when he heard a soft, sleepy voice.
“Daddy?”
Quinn nearly jumped, turning to see a tiny figure standing in the doorway, rubbing his eyes with a chubby fist. Charles, with his tousled hair and sleepy expression, looked up at him with a half-awake smile.
“Charles, buddy! What are you doing up?” Quinn whispered, kneeling down so he was eye-level with his little boy.
“I heard you, Daddy,” Charles murmured, walking closer and reaching out for him. “I missed you.”
Quinn’s heart melted. He scooped Charles up, pulling him close. “I missed you too, little man. I didn’t mean to wake you up.”
Charles nuzzled into his dad’s shoulder, his tiny arms wrapping around Quinn’s neck. “S’okay,” he mumbled, already half-asleep again but unwilling to let go.
Y/N stirred awake at the sound, her eyes fluttering open as she took in the scene. She watched them with a soft smile, feeling her heart swell at the sight of Quinn and Charles together.
Quinn sat on the edge of the bed, gently rocking Charles, who was already nodding off in his arms. He kissed the top of his son’s head, feeling the warmth and weight of him, grateful for this quiet moment. He looked over at Y/N, giving her a tender smile.
“Hey, you’re home,” she whispered, reaching over to squeeze his hand.
“Yeah, finally,” he said, his voice full of warmth and relief. “I missed you both so much.”
Charles stirred slightly, peeking up at his dad. “Daddy, can we go to the park tomorrow?”
Quinn chuckled softly, smoothing his son’s messy hair. “You bet, buddy. I’ll take you to the park and push you on the swings as high as you want.”
Charles’s face brightened, his eyes shining with excitement, though sleep was quickly winning him over. “Okay, Daddy. Love you…”
“I love you too, Charles,” Quinn whispered, his heart full.
He tucked Charles back into bed, brushing a gentle hand over his head. Y/N leaned against him, resting her head on his shoulder as they watched their little boy drift back to sleep.
Quinn wrapped an arm around Y/N, pulling her close. “Feels good to be home,” he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
She smiled, looking up at him. “We missed you more than you know.”
They stayed like that for a while, soaking in the warmth of being together, knowing that even on the longest, most tiring nights, this was the best place they could be.

Ichigo isn’t sure if that answer surprises him or not. “You didn’t suspect anything before today?” He has a hard time believing that. Shiro’s a realist. But Shiro also tends to act like he’s untouchable. Even if he had suspicions, it’s not a guarantee he would’ve done anything about it before he had to.
Ichigo’s eyes ghost over Shiro’s face before his brows draw together. He almost steps closer, but stops himself. If they were still together Ichigo would’ve stepped closer. He would give Shiro another nudge or he might curl his fingers through Shiro’s just to remind him he‘s not alone and that someone gives a shit about him. But they aren’t together and doing that would be cruel, not kind.
Shiro pulls out his phone while Ichigo's busy, and he hears his phone buzz from his jacket pocket on the bed.
Ichigo forces a strained half laugh to hide the way his pulse picks up and his breath hitches. He doesn’t know why such a small statement hits him like a lance through the stomach. “Yeah, I know. You like me, so I get special treatment.” It’s always been that way. It still surprises him. “And it has nothing to do with you feeling guilty for keeping my favorite shirt.” He seriously doubts Shiro even remembers he ever left with Ichigo’s shirt.
Shiro is giving him a look as he finishes, and Ichigo blinks before he realizes he’s been putting on something of a show while trying to think of how to sell his role as fuck buddy to Shiro’s people. Which isn’t even a role so much as a temptation he’s trying constantly not to give in to. He doesn’t usually notice that sort of thing. He doesn’t notice people noticing him. He typically has to be told. If he’s noticing now, it’s because Shiro is being blatantly obvious. But Ichigo trains every day to get his body cut a certain way, he supposes someone should get to enjoy it. Besides, he eyes Shiro as discreetly as possible almost constantly. Its only fair to even the field.
He takes his phone from his jacket to slide into his pocket while Shiro goes to change. Mostly he’s keeping himself busy so he doesn’t whine like a starving dog everytime Shiro pulls off a piece of clothing.
He turns when Shiro asks if he looks alright. Ichigo already knows the answer. But once his eyes find that exposed skin Ichigo has to wonder if Shiro is intentionally making a display of that section of neck Ichigo is particularly partial to biting. He can still see the faint bruises he left last night. Like a reminder. Or like an invitation. He’d believe both. He wants to fit his teeth to those marks. It has heat flooding under his skin to warm every part of him.
He tries to be noncommittal. The problem is he opens his mouth and an honest answer falls out. “You already looked good. Tired is a good look for you. It makes me want to put you to bed. But now your clothes look like they might fall off any minute, so it’s hard to say.” Though he huffs. “You shouldn’t ask me if you look good enough. The answer is always yes.”
He thinks Ichigo's probably being genuine, at least mostly. If their roles were reversed, Shiro's sure he'd find himself hoping Ichigo's new boyfriend was in on it, but Shiro's always been a jealous, possessive asshole. He nods, but not with much conviction. He could have someone check in on his cop. A text to the right person is all it would take. Or he could probably do it himself if he didn't want to involve anyone else. "Haven't had much time to do that."
Ichigo seems to be trying hard to comfort him, but none of that is much comfort, honestly. "Great." There's a little sarcasm in his tone. "Everything I've ever wanted." Except Ichigo, of course, and really Ichigo's what he wants more than anything else. He'd even try damn hard to get clean again for Ichigo.
That sounds an awful lot like it's not going to be Sharpie next time. He's going to have to find a way to repay all these favors Ichigo thinks Shiro's not appreciating enough.
He nods and pulls out his phone, shooting a quick text with a name and phone number to Ichigo, so he can't forget to do it later.
Ichigo glances over and he shrugs. It wasn't much more than that. He doesn't really get attached to things easily, but they're still his things. "I still don't let just anyone touch my clothes. Just so you're aware." The door to his room has a lock on it, half to keep potential drunk and/or high guests from wandering in here and touching his shit.
Shiro trails Ichigo, watching as that sweater comes off, the harness goes on, and then the sweater layers over top of it. He knows it's a practicality thing. Ichigo likes to be packing, probably especially right now, with an active threat., but fucking hell it looks kinky and hot as fuck. He wants to slide his fingers under those straps. "Huh?" He glances up to meet Ichigo's attention, then down at himself. "Oh." He's still in the same clothes he wore to the bar last night. There's a smear of dried blood from Ichigo's wound. Looking good is honestly pretty far from his mind right now, so he goes for a low effort outfit he knows will still work for him. He pulls out a pair of dark, acid washed jeans with too many perfectly aligned tears across the front of the thighs to have been accidental and a tight fitting, black, long sleeve shirt with a wide neck that falls off one shoulder and leaves most of his collar bone exposed. He shakes his hair out after pulling it all out of the back of the shirt. Then he digs out a pair of mid calf boots and tug on. "Good enough?"

a day later than planned, but with another bunch of brilliant fics! and oh, the state of my marked for later list... so many good things coming...
this is a mix of fics with all ratings, so some include NSFW content. please take a look at both the ratings and the fic tags (also for seaosn 8 spoiler purposes!) before reading!
if you come across something you like in this list, remember to show some love to the author by leaving kudos and a comment!
50 cheeky texts | songbvrd/@songbvrd | 21k | M
Buck gets drunk-dared to send Eddie one cheeky text every day for 50 days. Eddie loses his mind. i love a fic that incorporates texting (and screen names!) so so much and this is no exception to that. a delightfully fun, fluffy read!
a little change of scenery | grangers_apprentice | 2.1k | GA
That still doesn’t mean that Buck doesn’t get nightmares. Fortunately for Buck, he doesn’t have to deal with them alone. Not when he has such a good best friend like Eddie. okay by now yall have to know that bed sharing/mutual pining etc etc are my absolute favourite things, and so it's no surprise that i loved this one <3
a madman and a minstrel | Maira/@mairaiscarrierofthepaperclips | 2.8k | T
the one where Eddie is drugged and confesses his feelings for Buck. To Buck. this was the absolute funniest loveliest read, exactly what i needed on a not-so-great day <3
cause i will be your safety | rogerzsteven/@rogerzsteven | 2.2k | GA
Buck has a leg cramp. Eddie helps him as he can. poor buck <3 this is brilliantly written, i loved eddie's inner dialogue!
clean laundry (and the love of all things mundane) | fearofgod | 26.2k | not rated
buck offers his apartment to bobby and athena, and living with eddie is easy. buck moving in with eddie before they get together is my favourite!! this is such a good read, i loved the domesticness of it all <3
i got all my sisters with me | ipretendtobesane | 6.8k | T
eddie's sister has a baby, buck meets the diaz girls, and they're sickeningly in love for nearly seven thousand words. the diaz siblings!! i love the diaz siblings!! so good so lovely such brilliant brilliant characterisation all around!!
i'd shout it from the rooftops | SymphonySoldier97/@sonofatoasterwaffle | 5.9k | E
Buck and Eddie dive head first into their honeymoon phase, take a page out of Buck 1.0's book, and remember their shiny new body cams- in that order. i clicked on this one SO FAST and it was absolutely everything i expected <3 best way to incorporate body cams in anything ever i think
insomnia baking | glorious_spoon/@glorious-spoon | 1.5k | T
Any normal person would say no. It's well past midnight, and while they don't exactly keep regular hours, he knows he woke Buck up just now. But it's not at all a surprise when Buck says, "Yeah, of course, be there in, like…" his voice fades and dips for a moment, like he's holding the phone away from his face. "Uh, half an hour?" late night baking my beloved <3 the emotional hurt/comfort hits so good!!
it only takes a taste (when it's something special) | weewooforever | 7k | E
Eddie shifts slightly and clears his throat again. “But can you answer my original question? What’s it like kissing a guy?” beautifully descriptive, feels so true to character!! i do love a little best friends exploring sex with each other hehe
they'd base movies off our lives but somehow they wouldn't suffice | creatures_that_dont_die/@creatures-that-dont-die | 3.1k | T
When he convinces Eddie to watch Hotshots with him, Buck starts to notice some similarities between the two of them and Jones and Sanchez, characters from the show. the hotshots-related fic i've been waiting for!! honestly having a show within the show is so much fun and i love how this fic treats it - special shoutout to this bobby as well <3
you could poison poison | oceanofchaos/@islandoforder | 4.1k | GA
There is a constant tension headache behind his eyes that’s been there for as long as he can remember, and it gets worse every single time someone who isn’t Maddie calls him ‘Evan’. this fic managed to take everything i was thinking about this episode and blend it all together in 4.1k of pure goodness. delightful episode coda!!

The whole interview for reference. It's got really nice characterisation!
Date of the interview: 07 January 2015 (This is when season 1 episode 35 "Lion 3: Straight to Video" was the latest episode out)
Newsarama: Hey Steven, thanks for talking to us!
Steven Universe: Happy to!
Nrama: Now, you're a little younger than who we usually talk to, so we wanted to make sure you had a parent or guardian present.
Steven:Yeah that’s cool! Here’s my dad!
Universe:Wow, I haven’t done an interview in ages! I’m Mr. Universe, uh, interstellar rock star! But it’s been a few decades since my last tour so I guess you can call me …Steven’s dad Greg!
Steven: Woo! Oh hey look, Pearl is coming over too. Hey Pearl!
Pearl of the Crystal Gems: Excuse me, excuse me, who are you and what exactly is going on here?
Greg: Newsarama’s doing an interview with us!
Pearl: I was asking this complete stranger, not you, Greg.
Nrama: …this is great! A rock star… and a rock from the stars!
Steven: Oh that's good!
Pearl: How much have you two told this human?
Greg: Don’t worry Pearl… this isn’t about Gems… it’s just about Steven.
Nrama: Okay, well, that brings me to my first question. Steven, you’re the first half human, half Crystal Gem, is that right?
Steven: Mmhm!
Pearl: Yes, he’s the son of the incomparable Rose Quartz! He’s inherited her Gem and her legacy.
Greg: …and I had a little to do with it! Uh… Steven… existing!
Nrama: Greg, I have to say, it's not every parent who'd let his son be trained by magical beings. Why do you feel it's important for Steven to live with the Gems?
Greg: I mean he’s got Rose’s Gem so… sooner or later we knew his powers might come out somehow, and I’m not much help in that department?
I mean, the Gems didn’t know much about raising a baby. That I get, I had that covered. But I don’t know much about being a Gem. They sure do, they’re really exceptional Gems. They’re really thoughtful, you know… they really try their best to understand people.
Pearl: Yes, people are wonderful.
Steven: Go people!
Nrama: And Pearl, I'm sure it must have been very unusual for you when you found out Rose Quartz had fallen in love with a human. What was what like for you?
Greg: Wow, you’re really zero to sixty with these questions, buddy.
Pearl: That is absolutely none of your business!
Nrama: Well, what about when you found out Rose Quartz was going to have a half-human child?
Pearl: Brilliant leaders do brilliant things, that’s why you look to them for answers, answers no one else could have, that’s why you trust them, even when you can’t understand why they chose …Greg.
Greg: Well, ahh, we were so excited to see who Steven would be! When we… well, when we figured out that it might be possible!
And there’s never been anyone like him, and he really is a Gem and a human at the same time, it’s just incredible.
Steven: Yeah, I’ve been training and a lot of my powers are coming out! I can bubble up really easy these days, and I can warp on my own, and for a little bit I could even heal people and stuff.
Pearl: Yes! He’s been doing fantastic!
Greg: And he’s got my knack for music too! It’s really something, it’s unreal, you should hear him play!
Nrama: Wow that’s exciting! So Steven, you’re really talented.
Steven: Yeah! I can draw too! I drew last year's Beachapalooza flier! Guess what I figured out –  if you draw with a pencil but you draw really hard, you can smudge the line around with your finger and give everything really cool shading, and make shooting stars and comets… go look, the flier’s still up on the bulletin board at the Big Donut!
I want to get better at drawing… and I want to get better at my shield powers.
Nrama: You sound more excited about the flier than the shield powers!
Steven: Yeah, well, my flier came out really good and you can go see it! I’d show you my shield too, but I can’t make it come out whenever I want.
Pearl: Oh Steven, you’ll get it! You’ve manifested it twice!
Greg: Yeah I’ve seen him do it, it’s really something! He blocked this crazy water ball with it, and it gonged out all the water clones. It’s gorgeous, it’s Rose’s.
Steven: Thanks… yeah, I know I’ll get it… I’ve been practicing in the mornings! I just can’t seem to get it. Shield is harder than bubble I guess…
Nrama: Look, Steven, I didn't mean to make you self-conscious about your Gem abilities – besides, aside from all that, you seem like most other kids your age. Actually, it seems like you're pretty popular in Beach City!
Steven: Oh, I dunno about that! I just like talking to people, and then a lot of the time, they talk back! Ha!
Pearl: Human beings just adore each other, and Rose just adored human beings, so Steven is a real “people human,” as they say!
Greg: Heh… I think you mean “People person.”
Pearl: What? That can’t be right. That’s so redundant.
Nrama: So I have to ask – do you have any favorite comic books?
Steven: Oh man, me and Dad were going through all his old comics in the van! I got to keep a bunch of them, Casper, Richie Rich, Hot Stuff, Baby Huey, Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost… Wendy Witch…
Greg: I gave him lotsa Harvey Comics.
Steven: Dad says I can’t read his Heavy Metals till I’m older.
Greg: You can have those in a couple years!
Steven: Oh yeah and I just got the No Home Boys graphic novel adaptation! But I think it really missed the mark. And I like Sailor Moon. It’s really down to earth.
Nrama: And what's coming up for you?
Steven: I dunno, I guess anything could happen, that’s usually how it is! I met a new Gem recently, her name was Lapis Lazuli and she seemed really cool! She flew away to the Gem Homeworld!
Pearl: Steven, please. Look, stranger. There’s nothing to worry about. Earth is an independent planet, and Lapis Lazuli couldn’t possibly have made it all the way home.
Steven: What? Oh no, oh Pearl, you really think so?
Pearl: Or, well, Steven, I’m sure she did, yes, right, she definitely made it back, I’m sure she’s… having a really fun time… telling everyone… nothing!
Steven: … ok…
Greg: Hey! Hey, everything’s ok, whatever happens we can always roll with it, am I right?
Pearl: Yes, yes. We’ll roll! We are planning to roll.
Nrama: So, Steven – what is the best thing about being Steven Universe?
Steven: I get to be a Crystal Gem, and I learn a lot all the time, and hang out with Dad and with my friends …and everybody!
I’m changing a lot all the time, but that’s good, I think, since everybody changes all the time. I like it because even if you know somebody you can know them again, all the time, when they’re different, and what doesn’t change is how you feel, you know?
That can stay the same, which is really cool –  like if you love somebody, that’s the thing that can stay the same no matter what.
Greg: Ah boy, gosh Steven, what a really nice thought.
Pearl: Oh Greg, can you believe it, sometimes he sounds just like …well …just like Steven.
Greg: Yeah. He’s really somethin’ else.
Nrama: Thanks again for talking to me!
Steven: You’re welcome! Crystal Gems forever!
Greg: Hey yeah thanks! Keep watching the skies! Haha hahaha… heh!
Pearl: No ah, please don’t! We’ll take care of everything. Stay safe, human!
in-character interview with newsarama by rebecca sugar, 2015
this official steven universe interview is no longer available on the website, but it’s archived!
it’s canon & written by rebecca sugar, an interview of the characters pearl, greg, & steven.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there’s some really sweet and subtle pearlrose moments, i particularly love this one:
steven: i'm changing a lot all the time, but that's good, i think, since everybody changes all the time. i like it because even if you know somebody, you can know them again, all the time, when they're different, & what doesn't change is how you feel, you know? that can stay the same, which is really cool. like if you love somebody, that's the thing that can stay the same no matter what.
greg: steven, what a really nice thought.
pearl: oh greg, can you believe it, sometimes he sounds just like—well, just like steven.
greg: yeah, he’s really something else.
pearl stops herself before she can say rose, because that would be quite awkward in the interview setting. she also says she trusts rose & calls her incomparable. there’s a bit of jealousy with greg, because the timeline is at around the beginning of the show, so pearl hasn’t really found closure yet & is questioning things. eventually she’ll understand that rose never chose a partner over her, but anyway! really cute & canon pearlrose here.

Hah!! I knew it!! (I'm onto your storytelling tricks now GJM!!)
Tumblr media
Yeeeah you coulda acted a little quicker though Zhuo Yichen... like before Pei Sijing got thrown into a pillar... (although on second thoughts, no, fuck her traitorous ass, as you were Zhuo Yichen, you're good....)
Oh god, the angst of it all...
Tumblr media
If he were to die, the burden would just be passed to someone else. He would be condemning someone else to the pain and self-loathing that he feels.
Tumblr media
Oh dang, the bottle he drinks from all the time is a liquid that helps suppress malicious energy!! He's literally dosing himself all day every day to try and stay in control!!
Tumblr media
Shit, he is visibly shaking with effort, struggle to keep even a smidgen of control, and begging Ying Zhao to kill him before it's too late
Tumblr media
Wait, what's grandpa gonna do? Why's he telling Ying Lei goodbye?!!
Tumblr media
Did he... did he just fucking sacrifice himself to help suppress Zhu Yan?! Did he put his... spirit?... into Zhu Yan to help suppress the malicious qi?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That might save everyone's lives but jfc that is NOT going to help Zhu Yan's guilt/self-loathing problem!!
Oh GOD the usually carefree and silly Ying Lei outright SOBBING over his grandpa is fucking killing me!
Tumblr media
Good god, his FACE. He looks happy at first... I guess that the blood moon is over and he is in control? But then he looks up and sees... sees the aftermath... of what HE has done...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My poor fucking boy. He is so tormented. 😭
Tumblr media
He is indeed grandpa
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So they've got a month where the malicious qi won't affect him...
I'm still not sure I understand what it is he's done to himself to get those scars? Was he being literal about lightning strikes? And secluding himself *after* the blood moon... why? To let the malicious qi levels lessen?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
God the visuals of this show!!
Tumblr media
Sure ya do buddy.
Tumblr media
Why are you no match for Li Lun? I thought you were badass demon? Oooh wait up though... the subs on iQiyi said "I'm no match for Li Lun"... but the subs on the my downloaded file say "I can't kill Li Lun". Which is it? Because one is can't as in not able to... and the other might mean can't as in can't bring myself to...
Tumblr media
Oh wait what? It can?
Tumblr media
Oh god Ying Lei's grief has me genuinely crying.
No she hasn't, they're having to take turns at the scenic moping spot and Zhu Yan had it most of the night...
Tumblr media
Yeah you DESERVE to be hated girl cos Zhu Yan didn't have a choice... you did. He was literally being controlled by malicious energy. Regardless of what Chongwu camp used to get you to spy for them, you made the choice to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHO? Who should have almost completed his great mission by now? Cos that did not sound like you were talking about Zhao Yunzhou there...
Tumblr media
I STG if you fuckers pull the rug out from under me by making Xiao Bai be a fucking spy too I will cut a bitch...
Aaaaand the next scene jumps straight to Xiao Bai. Don't you do it. Don't you fucking dare!!
Oooh they've somehow all magically got furry winter clothes now...
Oh dang, my boy's had a mountain god makeover.
Tumblr media
Awww he's leaving the gang to stay there?
Oh god damn don't give the magic travel device to the fucking spy. She'll land you all straight into the middle of Chongwu camp instead of where you want to go...
Tumblr media
Yeeeeeaaaah that ain't all it means mate... 😂
They're all having protracted heartfelt goodbyes... and where is my poor Zhu Yan?
Group hug!! For everybody except the Great Demon Zhu Yan... 😭
Tumblr media
Ugh that was an emotional rollercoaster and I am exhausted.

Sure Why Not? (NSFW) FT Sakurako Okubo
Tumblr media
Operator’s Notes: Finally got around to writing a toku actress, and its best girl Hammie.
Dinoabareru tightened the hood of his jacket against the cool night air as he stepped into the bustling festival grounds. He’d only planned to pass through, maybe grab a few skewers of takoyaki and catch a glimpse of the lanterns glowing along the river. Yet, the vibrant energy of the crowd had pulled him in, and he found himself weaving through the stalls, captivated by the music and laughter filling the air.
As he reached for his wallet to pay for a matcha taiyaki, he heard a familiar, light laugh behind him. Turning around, he spotted a small group of fans gathered around a stall decorated with retro tokusatsu posters. His gaze landed on a young woman at the center of it all, her face framed by a radiant smile that seemed both familiar and surreal.
It was her. Sachika Nitaa.
He’d spent countless hours watching her take down villains and save the day, her character’s fearless attitude only matched by her cute energy. She’d starred as a hero in Zenkaiger, and even now, seeing her in person, she exuded the same infectious energy that had always captivated him on screen.
Dino’s mind raced, and he was about to turn back to his taiyaki to avoid making a fool of himself when Sachika’s eyes landed on him—and on his shirt. She blinked, recognition lighting up her face.
“Hey! Nice shirt!” she called out, nodding toward his Zenkaiger tee with a grin. “Good taste. You’re a fan, huh?”
Dino laughed, feeling the heat rush to his cheeks. “Uh, yeah. I'm a huge fan, actually. Never thought I’d run into you or any cast member wearing it,” he replied, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.
Sachika chuckled, stepping a little closer. “Well, what do you think? Do I look like a real-life hero?”
Dino was speechless, then managed, “Honestly… even cooler. Didn’t think that was possible.”
“Ah, flattery and a Zenkaiger shirt? You really know how to get on my good side,” she teased, eyes twinkling. “I’m Sachika, by the way. But something tells me you already knew that.”
“Dinoabareru,” he replied, gathering his courage to extend a hand. “But you can call me Dino.”
She took his hand with a smile that felt both natural and electric. “Well, Dino, you want to show me around? I could use a festival buddy.”
Dino smiled and said, “Sure why not?”
They strolled through the festival side by side, her laughter and warmth making each moment feel like a scene from one of his favorite shows. As they shared stories and challenges over festival games, Dino couldn’t shake the feeling that this night was the start of something unforgettable. Sachika or “Sachi” as she liked to be called found herself bumping in and “accidentally” touching Dino throughout their time together. By the time it was time for him to go Dino was smitten, but honestly, Sachi was easy to fall for with her big eyes expressive voice, and charming personality.
As Dino was getting ready to leave Sachi said, “Hey wanna see a kamen rider set tomorrow?”
“Sure why not?”
Dino arrived on set the next day, feeling a mix of excitement and nervous energy as he navigated the bustling filming environment. He spotted Sachi in the makeup chair, her hair styled to perfection, with a warm, radiant smile lighting up her face as she caught sight of him.
“I’m so happy you made it!” she called out, her eyes sparkling as she took in his slightly out-of-place awe at the production setup.
Dino grinned, feeling a bit bashful. “Yeah, they let me in after I said I was your guest. Guess you’re a pretty big deal around here.”
Sachi chuckled, leaning in a little. “Oh, you know me. Just your everyday superhero.” She winked, reaching out to brush a bit of lint off his shirt. “You clean up pretty well, Dino. Maybe you’re the one stealing the show today?”
He laughed, his cheeks warming. “Me? Steal the spotlight from the great Sachi Nitaa? Not a chance.”
As they shared an easy smile, the director, an intense older man with a sharp eye for detail, happened to pass by. He froze mid-step, his gaze zeroing in on Dino as if struck by a sudden inspiration.
“You there! You, the tall guy!” he called out, his tone both jarring and full of conviction.
Dino blinked, a little taken aback. “Uh… me?” he asked, glancing around to be sure.
“Yes, you!” The director’s eyes lit up with excitement. “I knew I was looking for someone just like you. You’d make a perfect Rider!”
Dino glanced at Sachi, who gave him an encouraging nod and mouthed, “Go for it.” Intrigued, Dino shrugged and said, “Sure… why not?”
Before he knew it, he was being whisked off to hair and makeup, where they worked quickly to get him camera-ready. Luckily, another member of the crew was experienced with lighting for darker skin tones, ensuring he looked his best on screen. He emerged a short while later, dressed in sleek, tailored clothing that fit the mysterious vibe they seemed to want for his character.
As he walked back to the set, the director caught up with him, pulling him aside to explain the role. “Alright, listen up. This series is called Kamen Rider Evo. The premise? A mad scientist pits Kamen Riders against each other, each with unique abilities. You’ll play ‘King,’ the scientist’s first-built Rider. Your powers are based on flight, agility, and intelligence. Your motif is darkness and Dragons. King acts as a neutral party—he’s not purely good or bad, but powerful and calculating. You’re the one other Riders either look up to or fear.”
Dino raised an eyebrow, impressed. “Sounds intense. So, King’s kinda… a wildcard?”
“Exactly!” the director said, clapping him on the shoulder. “King has his agenda, and everyone knows he can’t be easily controlled. You’ve got the look, the presence—just channel that, and you’ll be great.”
As the director moved on to handle other preparations, Sachi sauntered over, looking him up and down with an approving grin. “King, huh?” she teased. “I could get used to that.”
Dino laughed, giving her a playful bow. “Then maybe you should address me with a little more respect, don’t you think?”
“Oh, Your Majesty,” she replied with a mock curtsy, her smile flirtatious. She leaned in close, lowering her voice to a whisper. “Just remember, I outrank you in real life.”
Dino smirked, holding her gaze. “Guess I’ll have to work hard to catch up.”
Sachi’s laugh was soft and genuine. “Well, maybe I’ll give you some acting tips… if you can keep up with me.”
They shared a moment, their playful banter easing any lingering nerves Dino had. As the crew prepared for the next scene, Sachi gave him an encouraging pat on the arm, her eyes twinkling. “Good luck, King. I’ll be watching from the sidelines—and don’t worry, I’ll be cheering you on.”
Feeling more confident than ever, Dino squared his shoulders. “Thanks, Sachi. With you rooting for me, I think I’ve got this.”
With a shared smile, he took his place on set, ready to step into the role of King. And as the cameras rolled, he couldn’t shake the feeling that maybe this whole thing—meeting Sachi, being pulled onto set—was the beginning of something exciting.
They pushed Dino onto the set where the other Riders were waiting in costume, ready to shoot the next scene. Dino took his place in the corner, watching as the director set the stage. He noticed he hadn’t been given a script—just a few character notes and a brief rundown from the director. It was clear this was a test to see how he’d embody the character on the fly.
The director called out, “And… action!”
Dino observed as Sachika and her co-star Sakurako Okubo started their argument. He could feel the tension building between their characters, each line delivered with fierce conviction. Sachika’s character, always confident and a bit reckless, stood her ground as Sakurako’s character, more reserved but intense, glared at her with growing frustration.
“Look, you think this mission is some kind of game,” Sakurako’s character spat, her voice tight with anger. “You’re putting us all at risk with your recklessness!”
Sachika rolled her eyes, a dismissive smirk playing on her lips. “Maybe if you could keep up, we wouldn’t have to take so many risks. Ever think of that?”
Sakurako narrowed her eyes, fists clenched. “I don’t know why you think this is a joke, but some of us are here to protect, not to show off.”
As the argument escalated, the director nodded subtly in Dino’s direction, signaling for him to make his entrance.
Dino strode forward, his posture calm yet commanding. He switched briefly to English, adding a touch of flair to his entry. “Ladies,” he greeted with a smooth, authoritative tone, then seamlessly returned to Japanese. “What seems to be the problem?”
Sachika and Sakurako both turned, startled, but where Sakurako’s character looked momentarily shaken, Sachika’s character recovered quickly. Sakurako felt a weird burning sensation in her chest but was also captivated by the way Dino moved through the scene. He drew attention not because of his stature or skin tone but the way he moved and talked. It was purposeful and decisive but could adjust and adapt.
“King?” Sachika asked, her tone guarded yet laced with curiosity. “What are you doing here?”
Dino raised an eyebrow, his expression a mix of humor and mild disapproval. “I was in the area. Thought I’d check up on you two.” He paused, glancing pointedly between them. “You know how the Doctor likes his reports on you all.”
Sakurako, regaining her composure, crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing at him.
"And you are?" Sakurako questioned pointed
Dino spun around to her his eyes narrowed as he spoke and his voice took on a surprising level of menace no one expected “King, the Doctor’s First Rider… and you’d better watch that tone,” He warned,
Sakurako stared coldly her voice more. “I don’t much appreciate being talked down to.”
King tilted his head, his expression shifting from mild amusement to something darker, almost menacing. “Is that so?” he replied, his voice dropping to a soft, dangerous tone that sent a chill through the room. “Watch that attitude, little one. You’re not the only one with a purpose here, and I don't think your bark matches your bite.”
He let the words hang in the air, the quiet menace in his tone compelling even the crew watching to hold their breath. But in an instant, his expression softened, and he turned back to Sachika with a lighter, almost teasing smile.
“Please, ladies, take care of yourselves,” he said, the warmth returning to his voice. “We have so much left to accomplish.”
He gave a small bow, his eyes lingering on Sachika’s character, then pivoted smoothly and exited the scene.
As the director called “Cut!” Sakurako glanced at Sachika, both of them a bit stunned by Dino’s seamless performance. She nudged Sachika with a grin. “Not bad for someone they just pulled in off the street, huh?”
Sachika nodded, impressed. “Yeah, I think he might actually have a knack for this. Did you see the way he switched from charm to… whatever that was?”
Sakurako laughed, lowering her voice as Dino walked back over. “Oh, I saw. You’re sure he’s a guest and not secretly a pro?”
Sachika smirked, glancing at Dino’s way as he approached. “Guess I just know how to pick ‘em.” She raised her voice so Dino could hear. “Nice work, King. Think you’re ready for another scene?”
Dino grinned, clearly enjoying himself. “Anytime, ladies.” He dipped his head, giving them a mischievous look. “Just don’t get too comfortable—I might start stealing the show.”
The three of them shared a laugh, and as they moved on to the next take, the energy between them felt natural, charged with a new dynamic. Dino’s chemistry with both Sachika and Sakurako added depth to his character, leaving everyone on set eager to see how he’d evolve in the next scene.
After Dino’s scene wrapped, the Director motioned for him to come over, his eyes bright with a mix of excitement and intensity. He led Dino to a quieter corner of the set where a few of the creative team members were gathered, several of whom were already discussing his impromptu performance.
“Dino,” the Director began, nodding in approval, “you did well. Better than well, actually. But I want you to really understand this character—and this season.” He gestured for Dino to sit as he leaned forward, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial tone, as though sharing a secret. “This isn’t just any season of Kamen Rider. It’s the anniversary season, and we’re pushing boundaries with it.”
Dino raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Anniversary season? So, like, bringing in references from past seasons?”
“Exactly,” the Director replied. “We’re drawing on elements that fans know and love, and giving them something that will feel familiar yet fresh. But with King, we’re tapping into a specific theme that has defined some of the most powerful, dangerous Riders in the series.” He leaned back, studying Dino. “Are you familiar with what we call the ‘berserk’ forms?”
Dino’s mind instantly went to some of the most intense Riders he’d seen—those transformations where the hero becomes more monstrous, pushed to the brink by the raw power of the suit. “Yeah… like the skeletal dragon form in Saber? Or Ark-One from Zero-One?” he ventured, watching the Director’s expression.
The Director’s eyes lit up. “Precisely. Those forms that Riders can barely control, the ones that threaten to consume them. These forms are powerful but volatile. They symbolize the darkness and chaos that lie just beneath the surface—a side of the hero that isn’t fully within their control. This season, we’re building King around that motif.”
“King’s motif is the dragon,” he continued, leaning forward. “A symbol of strength, wisdom, but also raw, untamed power. The dragon embodies that dangerous line between control and chaos. King is the first Rider the Doctor created—a prototype that was never meant to be contained. He doesn’t follow the same rules as the other Riders. In many ways, he’s their shadow, a force they admire but can’t quite trust.”
Dino nodded, the picture becoming clearer. “So, he’s more of an anti-hero? Like, he doesn’t fit into the traditional hero mold?”
“Exactly,” the Director said, his eyes intense. “King was created with powers that push him beyond what the others can handle. His berserk form, his dragon form, is something that even the Doctor can’t fully control. Think of him as a walking test for the other Riders. They see his power and think, ‘Could that happen to me?’ And King knows this—he’s aware of the danger he represents.”
The Director leaned back, gesturing with his hands to paint the vision of the character. “Throughout the season, King will have moments of alignment with the heroes, but he’s always on the edge of slipping into that berserk state. His relationship with them is complex—there’s a level of respect, but he’s a reminder of what they could become if they lose control.”
One of the producers chimed in. “We’re taking visual cues from the iconic berserk forms,” she explained, showing Dino a concept art sheet. There was King, his armor dark and jagged, with fierce dragon motifs running along his chest plate and a skeletal dragon claw design on one gauntlet. His eyes glowed an eerie, almost hypnotic red. “Fans love that duality—the hero’s fear of his own power. So with King, we wanted to embody that fully.”
Dino took it all in, feeling the weight of the character settle over him. “So… King’s almost like a dark mirror for the other Riders?”
The Director nodded, satisfied. “Exactly. He’s their worst fear and a cautionary tale. This season will explore the Riders’ relationship to power—how much they can handle before it consumes them. King represents that line between hero and monster, reminding them that it’s a fine line indeed. And with his dragon theme, he has both the nobility and the fury of the myth.”
Dino let out a low whistle, already feeling a connection to the character. “I think I get it. King isn’t just a Rider—he’s a test, for them and for himself. Every time he steps into that power, he’s risking losing a part of himself.”
“Exactly,” the Director said, clapping him on the shoulder. “Channel that. Remember, King is never truly safe, even from himself. And the audience will love it because, deep down, they know what’s coming.”
As the team moved to prepare the next scene, Dino stood, feeling the full weight of King’s character. He was more than ready to step into the role, bringing to life a Rider who wasn’t just powerful, but a reminder that every hero carries a shadow—and sometimes, the greatest battle is with the one within.
As the crew reset the cameras and prepared for the next shot, the Director pulled Dino aside once more, his expression focused yet eager.
“Alright, Dino,” he began, folding his arms as he explained the next scene. “This time, we’re throwing you into a fight sequence—against the two major antagonists of the season.”
Dino’s eyebrows shot up, a grin spreading across his face. “Already? No warm-up fight or anything?”
The Director laughed. “No warm-up for King. The Doctor’s first creation, after all—he’s not someone who backs down. Think of this as King testing them, figuring out their strengths and weaknesses as he plays with them.”
Dino nodded, starting to visualize the scene. “Alright, so what do you need from me? I’ve got some experience in stage combat, but nothing as intense as Kamen Rider.”
“That’s perfect,” the Director said, clapping his hands. “We actually want to see what you do naturally. King isn’t a polished, predictable fighter—he’s a force of nature. What we want to capture here is a rough, almost primal approach to combat. Think of it as a King unleashing his power without caring much for form or finesse. Every move should be efficient, brutal, and with a certain… wildness.”
The Director motioned toward the stunt team, who were preparing the set with mats and safety gear. “In this first take, just go in and react. Show us what King’s instinctive fighting style looks like. We want to build a physical language for King—a movement style that’s uniquely his, something that says ‘dragon’ without being too obvious.”
Dino took a deep breath, already feeling the character’s energy building within him. “So, like a dragon—powerful but unpredictable?”
“Exactly. King doesn’t just attack; he overwhelms. Imagine him watching his opponents, sizing them up like prey. When he strikes, it’s with total commitment, no hesitation,” the Director said, demonstrating with his hands. “And then we’ll work with the suit actor to carry that physicality into King’s Rider form.”
Dino nodded, visualizing the raw, instinctive movements the Director was describing. “Got it. So, I’m aiming for something primal, controlled, but with that ‘edge’ where it could go berserk at any moment?”
“Exactly,” the Director replied, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. “Remember, the antagonists are strong too, but they’re strategists. Your job as King is to push them off balance, and keep them reacting to you, not the other way around. You’re in control—at least, for now.”
One of the fight choreographers approached with a few pointers. “For the first run, focus on power over precision. We’re looking for broad, sweeping strikes, but every hit should feel like it’s meant to end the fight. And don’t hold back on the intensity. We want to see how much physicality you bring before we fine-tune anything.”
Dino took a deep breath and nodded, feeling the excitement bubbling up. This was unlike anything he’d done before, and he could feel the thrill of embodying a character who fought with such raw power. As he stepped onto the set, he saw the two actors playing the antagonists take their places, each of them sizing him up with a mix of amusement and challenge.
“Alright, Dino,” the Director called out, his voice filled with anticipation. “Let’s see what King can do.”
The two other actors were already in their Kamen Rider suits which worried Dino at first but he decided to listen to the director.
"So you challenge me?" Dino said slowly before running towards one of the adversaries. He shoulder-charged him careful not to hit the stunt actor and as he fell Dino caught him before headbutting him on the floor. Following this Dino turned to his other opponent and did a flashy roundhouse kick that caused the other person to roll to the ground with a practice grace. This led to the two opponents creating space for Dino and he said,
"you dare challenge me I am the original god of destruction. You all are a pale imitation a simulation of me."
Dino's tone and inflection sent chills through the Cast and Crew who were present. Rako found herself attracted to how well Dino fell into his role and made her proud of him despite their only recent meeting. The crew watches as Dino throws up his Bahamut rider medal and starts his transformation sequence. The producers watched in awe as Dino did a cross between Kamen rider Black Sun, and Ryuki's transformation poses before he yelled Henshin with the menace of a Rider killer. The director cuts and the crew is stunned. He approaches Dino and says, "That was perfect how did you know to do all that? each move felt like it was taken out of the annals of all of Tokusatsu's history."
Dino shrugged as he explained, "Well that was the goal. I wanted to incorporate Ultraman, and a little Super Sentai as well. So I threw in a couple of moves from Ultraman Orb's fighting style and AbareKiller's style."
The director turned to the producers and they knew that he needed to be a reoccurring character. after that scene Dino, Sachi, and Rako as she liked to be called were all going through hair and makeup figuring out their next move.
Sachi turned to Dino and asked, "Hey you wanna grab some food?"
Dino shrugged as he said once again, "Sure why not?"
The three of them settled into a cozy corner booth at a local cafe, the hum of conversation and the scent of fresh coffee filling the air. Sakurako had insisted they try this spot, saying it was her go-to between shoots, and judging by the friendly waves from the staff, she was a regular.
Dino stirred a sugar cube into his coffee, glancing around. “Feels a little surreal, you know? Just yesterday I was watching you two on screen, and now here we are, having coffee like we’re old friends.”
Sachi chuckled, leaning back in her seat. “It’s not as glamorous as it seems, is it? Just three people trying to keep awake for the next scene.”
Sakurako sipped her iced latte, eyes sparkling with curiosity as she looked over at Dino. “So, Dinoabareru… Did I get that right? How’d you end up here, in all of this?”
Dino smiled, a little bashful. “Honestly? It’s kind of a whirlwind. I only came to Japan recently, and I never thought I’d find myself on a Kamen Rider set. I grew up watching tokusatsu shows, so it feels like I’m living a dream. Guess the director just saw something in me.”
Sakurako exchanged an amused glance with Sachi. “Well, that ‘something’ must be pretty special. It’s rare for him to pull in someone out of nowhere.”
Sachi nudged Dino, laughing. “Yeah, you just have that ‘hero energy.’ The kind of guy who jumps headfirst into anything without a second thought.”
Dino laughed. “I guess that’s fair. My friends back home would call it being a little reckless.” He took a sip of his coffee, then asked, “What about you two? How did you get into acting?”
Sachi’s eyes softened as she thought back. “I guess I was one of those kids who always loved performing, even if it was just for my family. When I got older, I was lucky enough to land some roles, and it just snowballed from there. Tokusatsu really was the dream role, though. My inner child was thrilled to be in Zenkaiger.”
Dino smiled, nodding. “That explains the energy you bring to your characters. It’s like you’re really having fun.”
Sakurako grinned, leaning forward. “For me, it was all about kicking down doors, literally and figuratively. I grew up watching these shows, and I wanted to be a hero so badly. When I finally landed a role, I felt like I’d made it.” She glanced over at Dino. “So, do you have any plans now that you’re in this world? Sticking around?”
Dino shrugged, a thoughtful look crossing his face. “I’m honestly still figuring that out. I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface here, and this chance is something I’d never want to take for granted. But yeah, if I could make a career out of this… well, let’s just say I’d be over the moon.”
Sakurako leaned back, her fingers tapping the edge of her glass thoughtfully. “It’s tough, you know. Long hours, intense training, the pressure to keep up with fans’ expectations… But if you love it, it’s worth it.”
“Especially when you work with people who support you,” Sachi added, smiling warmly. “Like today, when you just jumped into that fight scene. You really made the character your own.”
Dino’s cheeks flushed a bit. “Honestly, I was just trying not to make a fool of myself. But working with you both made it easy. I felt like you were right there with me, helping me find my footing.”
Sakurako raised her glass. “Here’s to new friends, then! And to King—may he have many more epic scenes.”
They clinked glasses, laughter filling the air. As they settled back, Dino felt a sense of belonging he hadn’t anticipated. As they relaxed Dino felt Sakurako's eyes linger on him. her gaze was focused but intense like a star. Dino found it strangely comforting.
Later that evening, Sachi, Dino, and Sakurako found themselves strolling through the city streets, their laughter and easy conversation filling the air. Sachi walked between them, but she couldn’t help noticing the way Dino and Sakurako exchanged glances whenever the other wasn’t looking, or how they seemed to lean slightly closer as they talked.
Sachi smirked, slowing her steps just a little, letting the two fall slightly ahead of her. As they passed a street vendor, she took the opportunity to drop back even further, leaving Dino and Sakurako walking side-by-side in the soft glow of the street lamps.
"So, you two look good together,” she said, letting the words slip out casually as they stopped by a bench.
Dino and Sakurako turned to her, a little too quickly, and both started speaking at once.
“Huh? No, we’re just—”
“We’re just chatting! I mean, friends, right?”
Sachi folded her arms, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “Right, ‘friends.’ You know, I’ve been around long enough to recognize when there’s a little spark.”
Dino scratched the back of his neck, looking anywhere but at Sakurako. “Come on, Sachi. We just met. Besides, I doubt I’d be her type anyway.” He laughed, though it sounded a bit uncertain.
Sakurako looked down, her cheeks faintly pink. “Sachi, you’re making it sound like… like I…” She trailed off, suddenly bashful. “We’re just colleagues.”
“Colleagues?” Sachi said, giving them both a sly grin. “Alright, alright. But I’ll say this—you don’t look at all your colleagues that way, do you, Rako?”
Sakurako’s face reddened, and she gave a small, nervous laugh. “Well… he is different, I’ll admit. There’s something kind of refreshing about him.”
Dino turned to Sakurako, eyes widening. “Really?”
Sachi beamed, delighted with her matchmaking efforts so far. “See, I knew it! Okay, look. We’re all done for the day, right? So why don’t you two go grab some food or something? I actually have to get up early tomorrow,” she lied, clearly trying to give them an out.
Dino blinked, caught off guard. “You’d be okay with that, Sachi?”
Sachi laughed. “Of course! Look, I’m not going to get in the way of some fun bonding time. I know chemistry when I see it.”
Sakurako looked at Dino, then back at Sachi. “Are you really leaving us alone?”
“Absolutely. I think you two need it. Besides,” she added with a wink, “sometimes the best scenes happen off-camera.”
As Sachi left, waving them off, Dino turned to Sakurako, his heart pounding a little harder than he expected. “So… still up for grabbing a bite?”
Sakurako’s eyes sparkled, her earlier shyness replaced by a soft smile. “Yeah. I’d like that.”
As Sachi waved them off and disappeared around the corner, Dino and Sakurako found themselves alone on the bustling evening street. An electric silence settled between them, and both seemed to sense that this moment, somehow, was different from their usual conversations on set.
“Alright,” Dino said with a lopsided smile, breaking the silence. “So, what’s your favorite kind of food? Since we’re out here, might as well go for something good.”
Sakurako’s eyes lit up, and she tilted her head thoughtfully. “Hmm… I’m actually in the mood for ramen. There’s this small shop around the corner that’s incredible. It’s not fancy, but they make everything from scratch, and it’s open late.”
“Ramen it is, then,” Dino replied, eager for an excuse to spend more time with her.
They strolled to the ramen shop, the low hum of the city providing a comfortable backdrop. As they took their seats, Sakurako started talking about her early days as an actress, how she’d gone through hundreds of auditions, each rejection a stepping stone that had finally led her to roles like the one she was playing now. Dino listened, nodding and asking questions, genuinely curious about her journey.
“And what about you?” she asked, resting her chin on her hand as she looked across the table at him. “What’s your story? How’d you end up on set today?”
Dino chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Well, I’m not exactly a trained actor, that’s for sure. I just came to meet Sachi, honestly. Then, the next thing I knew, the director’s throwing me into costume and calling me ‘King.’ It’s surreal, but… kind of amazing too.”
“I have to say, you pulled it off really well,” she said, her eyes twinkling with amusement. “It didn’t seem like it was your first time on camera. There was this… natural intensity to you.”
Dino shifted slightly, the compliment hitting harder than he’d expected. “Thanks. I guess I just imagined myself in the role and let go of everything else. But you make it sound like it was something special.”
She looked at him earnestly, nodding. “It was. You really brought something unique to the character, even in such a short time.”
Just then, their bowls of ramen arrived, and they both eagerly dove in, the warmth of the broth adding to the cozy atmosphere between them. For a few minutes, they ate in comfortable silence, exchanging small smiles across the table.
After they’d finished, Sakurako leaned back, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “I have to admit, it’s kind of refreshing spending time with someone who didn’t expect to be here. Sometimes, the industry can make you feel… boxed in. Like you’re always playing a part.”
Dino nodded thoughtfully. “I get that. It’s why I think I’ve never really considered acting as a career. You know, that fear of losing yourself in a role or feeling like you’re just… wearing a mask all the time.”
Sakurako’s gaze softened as she looked at him. “But isn’t it kind of freeing, too? You get to step outside of yourself and see the world through someone else’s eyes. Even if it’s just for a moment.”
Dino smiled, realizing how much he was starting to appreciate her perspective. “When you put it that way, it sounds kind of amazing.”
Sakurako seemed to take a deep breath before speaking again, her voice a little more tentative this time. “So… would you do it again? You know, acting?”
Dino considered her question, his gaze drifting to the street outside as he thought about the thrill of embodying King, of becoming something larger than life. But as he glanced back at her, he realized that a big part of his answer came down to moments like this—connecting, learning, finding something meaningful in someone else’s company.
“Yeah,” he said finally, meeting her eyes. “I think I would.”
There was a charged pause, the air between them thick with unspoken words. Sakurako bit her lip, her gaze flicking down for just a moment before she looked back up at him. “I’m glad to hear that, Dino. And… I’m glad we met, even if it was by chance.”
Dino’s heart raced as he felt the pull between them grow stronger, and before he could second-guess himself, he reached across the table, his hand brushing gently against hers.
Sakurako’s eyes widened slightly, but she didn’t pull away. Instead, she smiled, her fingers curling around his.
They stayed like that, hands intertwined, in the soft glow of the ramen shop, a silent promise forming between them—of more shared moments, of untold stories, and perhaps, of something even deeper than either of them had imagined. When Dino looked at her though her eyes held a hunger that unlocked a door in him that held a unique ferocity to it. Sakurako found this look intense but it unlocked a part of her she didn't know she had.
She felt a warmth in her abdomen as her body rebelled against her, and the two found themselves in a torrid kiss. After they finished up at the restaurant the couple raced to Dino’s “apartment” As soon as he closed the door they were all over each other. Dino started Kissing Rako but as the heat intensified between them he found himself and his mouth hovering around her neck kissing. Rako felt the burning sensation in her abdomen reach a fever pitch, then ripped her shirt off and yelled “fuck me while you suck my tits,” Rako moaned as Dino latched onto her breast as she slowly stripped Dino of his.
“Fuck you like my tits,”
“Oh fuck your tongue feels so good,”
“I can feel you throbbing,”
“Fuck put it in” Sakurako heaved as Dino buried his cock inside of her. Dino flips Sakurako over and relentlessly starts spanking her ass as he watches it jiggle while he pounds her. Rako moans.
“Fuck! Your cock is tearing my insides up, keep going.” Rako says in between moans. Dino nods as he yanks Rako up and brings her in for another kiss Rako finds her tongue invading Dino’s mouth causing Dino to bite then tip gently. Rako moaned as Dino's hands wandered her chest and ass as he continued to pound her. "Fuck." she moans as his rod digs into her cavern.
"keep going." Rako demands, and Dino speeds up causing Sakurako to cum.
"Oh fuck" she repeats as Dino reduces her to a fuck doll while he chases his release. As her mind turns to mush all she can focus on is how his cock is warping her insides to his girth.
"Fuck use me." Sakurako moans as she nears another climax. Dino continues to ravage Rako until cums inside her causing to have another orgasm. The two bask in the afterglow before Sakurako gets up.
"Okay so what are we?" she asks pointedly
Dino shrugs and says, " I am not sure. Since...Well this is the farthest I have ever gone with a girl before."
Sakurako's eyes widened then she said, "You were a virgin?"
Dino nods and apologizes for any sloppiness that might have occurred. Sakurako dismisses his reservations at once. The couple falls asleep shortly after that little chat.
The next morning, Dino stirred awake, blinking against the soft morning light filtering through his curtains. He glanced over to find Sakurako still curled up beside him, her hair slightly tousled and a peaceful expression on her face. With a soft smile, he gently shifted, careful not to wake her as he got ready. A short while later, she joined him, rubbing sleep from her eyes as they got ready to head out.
Together, they made their way to Mrs. Okubo’s place, where Dino waited as Sakurako dashed inside to change into some new clothes for the day Hi. After a few minutes, she rejoined him, looking bright and refreshed. They wandered through the streets, eventually stopping at a cozy breakfast spot where they shared a simple but satisfying meal of miso soup, grilled fish, and rice.
As they ate, they chatted about their plans for the day, the ease between them growing more natural and playful. Sakurako found herself laughing at Dino’s quick wit and warm sense of humor, and Dino couldn’t help but be charmed by her genuine, grounded nature.
Soon enough, they arrived at the studio, where Sachika was waiting with an expectant grin. She took one look at the two of them and smirked. “Well, well, if it isn’t the lovebirds,” she teased, crossing her arms and giving them a knowing look.
Sakurako rolled her eyes, but a faint blush crept over her cheeks. “It’s way too early for your dramatics, Sachi.”
Dino chuckled, giving Sachi a small salute. “Morning, Captain.”
Sachi laughed and then motioned for them to follow her. “Alright, come on, Mr. ‘Dragon.’ Let’s get you geared up for the season.” She led them down the hallway to wardrobe, where a team of costume designers and assistants were waiting with Dino’s outfits and gear for his character. He tried on several costumes, each one tailored to fit the image of “King,” the powerful, slightly unpredictable character he’d be playing.
Sakurako couldn’t help but admire him as he stepped out in each new costume, her eyes trailing over the details of his outfits, the way they accentuated his imposing presence. She gave him tips on adjusting his movements in the heavier armor and offered a quiet but encouraging thumbs-up whenever he seemed unsure. Sachi watched the two of them with an amused smile, clearly enjoying the chemistry that had blossomed between them.
In between costume changes, Sachi leaned over to Dino with a raised brow. “So, how long are you in Japan for, anyway?”
“Oh, one year,” he replied casually as he adjusted the cuff on a dark, regal-looking jacket.
“One year?” Sakurako glanced over in surprise, unable to hide her curiosity. “Did you get work out here?”
“Nope, it’s just an extended vacation,” he explained, a small smile playing on his lips. “I write comic books and have five graphic novels that sold decently back in the States, so now I have the chance to take it easy for a bit.”
Sakurako blinked, her mouth slightly open in surprise, while Sachika just let out a low whistle. “Huh, there’s always something new with you, isn’t there?” Sakurako remarked, clearly impressed.
Dino shrugged, giving a modest grin. “It’s been a fun ride. I like telling stories that mean something to people, you know? And hey, if it means I get to hang out in Japan for a year, even better.”
Sachika grinned, giving Sakurako a knowing look. “Sounds like you two are going to have a very interesting year.”
“Don’t start, Sachi,” Sakurako warned, though a faint smile tugged at her lips. She turned back to Dino, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. “So what kind of stories do you write? I mean, if you’re here for a whole year, we might as well get to know the guy under the Rider suit.”
Dino chuckled, scratching the back of his head. “Well, it’s mostly action and fantasy. I love exploring character journeys, like what people go through when faced with really tough choices. My latest one was about a hero who doesn’t realize he’s being manipulated by the very people he thought were his allies.”
Sachika nudged Sakurako, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “Sounds like your kind of story, Rako. You love that deep, emotional stuff.”
“Hey, I can appreciate a good story arc!” Sakurako protested, laughing as she lightly shoved Sachi.
As they shared another laugh, Dino felt a warmth in his chest, realizing just how comfortable he’d become around them. And as he looked at Sakurako, he couldn’t shake the feeling that this “extended vacation” might be the best decision he’d ever made.
Later that afternoon, as the three of them wrapped up for the day and headed out of the studio, Sachika was practically bouncing with excitement, her face lit up with a mischievous smile.
“Hey, you two!” she called, catching up to Dino and Sakurako. They turned to see her grinning like she was up to something.
“What’s up, Sachi?” Sakurako asked, narrowing her eyes playfully.
“So,” Sachi began, drawing out the word as she rocked on her heels, “how would you two feel about going to a Le Sserafim concert with me?”
Dino raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Wait, you’re serious? Like Le Sserafim Le Sserafim?”
Sachi nodded enthusiastically. “Yep! I got tickets from Sakura herself—she’s an old friend of mine from a few years back.” She leaned in closer, her tone conspiratorial. “I was going to go with a few other people, but they bailed last minute, so I figured, why not take you two lovebirds?”
Sakurako flushed, rolling her eyes at the nickname, but a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. “Well, that does sound pretty fun,” she admitted, glancing over at Dino. “What do you think?”
Dino grinned, giving Sachi a thumbs-up. “Sure Why Not?”
“Perfect!” Sachi clapped her hands together, practically giddy. “It’ll be a blast. I’ll meet you two at the concert venue later, yeah?”
That evening, the trio found themselves standing in the packed crowd of the concert hall, surrounded by the buzz of anticipation as fans cheered, holding light sticks and banners for Le Sserafim. Dino glanced around, taking it all in, the energy of the crowd already getting him pumped. Beside him, Sakurako looked equally thrilled, her eyes bright as she took in the atmosphere.
As the lights dimmed, the stage lit up with vibrant colors, and Le Sserafim appeared, the crowd erupting in cheers. The music started, the bass thumping through the floor, and Dino found himself getting swept up in the energy.
Halfway through the show, Sachi nudged them both, leaning in to shout over the music, “Come on, you two! Dance with me!”
Sakurako laughed, letting herself get pulled into the rhythm of the music, and Dino joined in, moving to the beat alongside her. As they danced, Sakurako shot Dino a playful grin, grabbing his hand to spin him around. He laughed, spinning her back, and they found themselves locked in a gaze that felt electric, the flashing lights of the concert amplifying the spark between them.
The music shifted to a slower beat, and without thinking, Dino placed his hands on her waist as she rested hers on his shoulders, swaying with him in time. They danced close, neither of them pulling away, and the unspoken tension between them grew with every beat. Sakurako’s cheeks were flushed, and she bit her lip, a small, teasing smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.
“You’re pretty smooth, you know that?” she teased, looking up at him.
Dino grinned, giving her a playful shrug. “I’ve got my moments.”
As the song ended and the stage lights dimmed, the two pulled back, still caught up in each other’s presence. Sachi watched from the side, looking thoroughly amused as she leaned over and whispered, “I knew you two would hit it off.”
After the concert, Sachi led them backstage, where they met up with Le Sserafim. Sakura greeted Sachi with a big hug, her smile warm as she introduced the group. Kazuha’s eyes lit up as she spotted Dino, recognizing him instantly.
“Dino! It’s been a while since Coachella!” Kazuha said, her eyes bright with excitement.
Dino grinned, giving her a quick hug. “Kazuha! Good to see you again! I didn’t know you’d remember me.”
“Are you kidding? You’re unforgettable,” she laughed, nudging him.
Sakurako’s gaze flicked between Dino and Kazuha, her brow furrowing slightly as she watched the easy rapport between them. Trying not to look too obvious, she settled herself beside Dino on the couch, crossing her legs and subtly placing her hand on his, her fingers gently tracing small circles on the back of his hand. The gesture was quiet but unmistakably possessive, her silent way of making her claim.
Dino glanced down, feeling the soft touch of her fingers, and when he looked back up, he caught her gaze, a smile tugging at his lips. Kazuha seemed to notice too, raising an eyebrow with a knowing smile, clearly amused by Sakurako’s subtle display.
Sachi chuckled, nudging Sakurako. “Guess you’ve got your claws in him already, huh?”
Sakurako just gave a small, satisfied smile, glancing sideways at Dino. “Maybe,” she replied, her tone light yet undeniably pleased.
They spent the rest of the evening chatting, sharing stories, and laughing over past experiences. The connection between Dino and Sakurako was unmistakable, and even with Kazuha’s friendly teasing, it was clear to everyone that Sakurako’s quiet claim was solid and unshakable. As they headed out that night, Sakurako and Dino walked side-by-side, a comfortable silence settling between them, both feeling that something special had quietly but firmly taken root.
"So do you wanna be together ?" Rako asked hesitantly.
Dino smiled and said, "Sure Why Not?"

Chapter 8: of course I’m going to give $25 to my nephew..
January 29th, 2025 12:27PM
Jeyce and Demi sat at the usual loner lunch table, sharing laughs as they recounted their morning classes. Demi, as always, had a way of making him laugh, her wit sharper than most people realized. For the first time since the awkward conversation with his dad, Jeyce felt completely at ease.
As she took a sip from her juice box, Demi looked at him, her dark eyes gleaming with excitement. “So… do you have any plans for Friday?” she asked casually, her voice slightly playful.
Jeyce shrugged, though his heart was already racing. “Uh, yeah… kind of. My brother Jaciyah’s coming down with our mom. He’s been staying with her to help her with the move to Stamford,” he explained, trying to keep his tone casual.
Demi nodded, a small smile forming on her lips. “Well, I was going to invite you to a listening party for The Smiths at this place called CD Master Copy downtown,” she said, her voice hopeful. “My sister is visiting this weekend and she said she could take us. She’s cool with it.”
Jeyce’s brain froze for a second. The Smiths? He’d never even heard of them. But the idea of spending time with Demi outside of school, hanging out and listening to music, was too good to pass up. He found himself nodding, a little too eagerly. “Yeah… yeah, sure! That sounds fun, you didn’t mention a sister.” he replied, hoping he sounded more confident than he felt.
Demi’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Awesome! You’ll love it; they’re amazing. You didn’t mention a brother.” She smiled, gathering her things as the bell rang. “See you on the bus?”
“Yeah… see you on the bus,” Jeyce replied, his face breaking into a smile as he watched her walk away. When she was out of earshot, he muttered under his breath, “Oh, crap…”
As he trudged to his next class, he couldn’t shake the feeling of both excitement and dread. Telling his dad about this was going to be a challenge. But one thing was certain—he wasn’t about to miss out on his first real chance to spend time with Demi.
Jeyce had barely dropped his backpack by the door before he went looking for his dad. He knew he had to tell him about the listening party with Demi, but his nerves were eating away at him. He finally spotted Jey tending to the greenhouse, his hands gently packing flower seeds into the soil. Jey was probably doing it for Rhea—Jeyce had caught on to his dad’s habit of planting little surprises for her.
“Hey, Dad,” Jeyce called, leaning against the greenhouse door.
Jey looked up, a small smile forming. “Hey, buddy. I actually wanted to talk to you about something,” he said, pushing another seed into the soil.
Jeyce tilted his head, curiosity replacing his nervousness for a moment. “Oh? Go ahead.”
Jey let out a breath, his eyes shifting away briefly before looking back at Jeyce. “So, you’re going to be thirteen in a couple of months…” he began, his tone a mix of seriousness and awkwardness.
Jeyce felt his own curiosity spike, a bit wary. “Yeah?” he replied, eyebrows raised in confusion.
Jey cleared his throat, visibly trying to find the right words. “Well, when me and your uncle were about your age, we started noticing… changes in our bodies.” He gave Jeyce a meaningful look, as though that explained everything.
Jeyce squinted slightly, still not fully understanding. “Yeaahhhh…” he replied slowly, hoping his dad would get to the point.
Jey rubbed the back of his neck, seeming even more uncomfortable now. “Well… look, son, if you’re, you know, noticing changes… it’s important to talk to me or, uh, someone about it. I don’t want you going on bad websites or—”
“Dad! No! Ew!” Jeyce interrupted, his face scrunching up in horror. He threw his hands up, backing away from his dad. “Nevermind! I’m out of here!”
He turned and bolted back toward the house, desperate to escape the painfully awkward conversation. As he hurried off, he could hear his dad’s voice behind him, tinged with exasperation and a little humor. “Well, that went well,” Jey muttered to himself, rubbing his temples.
Inside the house, Jeyce’s heart was still racing, but he couldn’t help but laugh a little at how disastrous the conversation had been. His dad was just trying, even if it was embarrassing. But one thing was clear—there was no way he was bringing up the listening party with Demi.
Jeyce climbed the stairs to his room, still feeling a mix of embarrassment and relief after his awkward talk with his dad. As he reached the top, he saw Rhea coming out of her room, adjusting her hair and humming softly to herself.
Jeyce hesitated for a moment, feeling a sudden, overwhelming need to say something—anything—to ease the lingering awkwardness and tension from earlier. “Rhea,” he said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Rhea stopped, turning to face him with a gentle, curious smile. “Yes, Jeyce?” she asked, her tone as warm as ever.
Jeyce took a deep breath, his cheeks flushing slightly. “I… I love you still,” he mumbled, the words spilling out quicker than he had intended.
Rhea’s expression softened even more, her smile widening as she took in his words. Before she could respond, though, Jeyce quickly darted toward his room, not waiting to see her reaction.
As he shut his door, he heard her soft laughter drift down the hallway, filled with warmth and understanding. He let out a small sigh of relief, feeling the weight on his chest lighten just a bit. Even if things were changing in his life and family, moments like this reminded him that some things—like love—were solid and steady.
Jeyce threw himself onto his bed, feeling a strange mix of emotions. He knew things were about to get more complicated with Demi and whatever this listening party was going to bring, but for now, he felt a sense of calm.
Rhea found Jey in the greenhouse, kneeling among the rows of freshly planted flower seeds. He was focused on his task, carefully arranging the soil and making sure everything was just right for the blooms to come. She smiled at the sight, her heart swelling with affection for the man she came to love.
As she stepped closer, she gave him a kiss on the cheek. “What a wonderful job you’re doing here!” she said, her voice warm and encouraging.
Jey looked up, his expression brightening. “Thanks babe..” he replied, his cheeks slightly flushed from the unexpected affection.
Jey decided it was the perfect moment to share his earlier conversation with Jeyce. “I took your advice..” he said, brushing the dirt from his hands. “I talked to Jeyce about… you know, puberty.”
Rhea burst into laughter, the sound ringing through the greenhouse like music. “Oh my gosh, how did that go?” she asked, wiping a tear from her eye.
Jey scratched the back of his neck, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. “Not well, I think. I might have scared him off a bit.”
Still chuckling, Rhea shook her head. “Well, it’s a tough topic, but you’re a good dad for trying.”
Once the laughter settled, Rhea’s smile turned tender. “Oh, and speaking of Jeyce, he told me earlier that he still loves me,” she said, her heart fluttering at the thought.
Jey smiled, his gaze softening. “He still loves his bonus mommy,” he echoed, warmth spreading through him at the bond they had as a family.
Rhea nodded, her eyes sparkling. “It means so much to me.. he is growing..”
Jey looked around the greenhouse, the vibrant colors of the flowers surrounding them. “He is. It’s a little scary, but also kind of exciting to see him become his own person,” he said, feeling a sense of pride wash over him.
Rhea placed a hand on his shoulder. “You’re doing great, Jey. Just keep being there for him, and we’ll figure it out together.”
Jey nodded, feeling grateful for Rhea’s support. “I’m glad we’re in this together,” he replied, giving her a soft smile.
With their hearts feeling a little lighter, Rhea joined her fiancé as he returned to planting, the sun streaming through the greenhouse windows, casting a warm glow over their small family as they embraced the journey ahead.
Jeyce stared at his phone, anxiety swirling in his stomach as he read the text from Demi. Here are the details: $25 a person, 7-8:30 PM, black attire encouraged. A wave of dread washed over him. There was no way he could ask his dad for money—not after their awkward conversation about puberty. And Rhea? He certainly didn’t want to bring that up with her either.
But then, a light bulb went off in his head. He scrolled through the contacts on his phone, searching for a solution. His finger hovered over “Uncle Joe,” the name that brought a smile to his face. He clicked the FaceTime button, his heart racing as he waited for his uncle to answer.
“Hey there, if it isn’t my favorite nephew!” Joe’s face appeared on the screen, a wide grin spreading across his features.
Jeyce couldn’t help but smile back, despite his nerves. “Uncle, I need help. I’m in a pickle.”
Joe’s brow raised in curiosity. “What happened?”
“I met this girl, her name is Demi, and she is so cool, Joe! She has black hair and she looks like a vampire,” Jeyce said, his excitement bubbling over.
Joe chuckled. “I take it you met her in school?”
“Yes!” Jeyce exclaimed, feeling a surge of pride. “She’s really nice.”
“Is this the same school where you hit that other kid with a lunch box?” Joe teased.
Jeyce rolled his eyes, embarrassment creeping up his neck. “Did Dad tell you?”
Joe laughed heartily. “He put me and your Uncle Jon on a Zoom meeting and told us. I must say, you could have done a spear, far better.”
“I’m not doing a spear, Uncle Joe,” Jeyce replied, a hint of exasperation in his voice.
“Okay, okay,” Joe said, still chuckling. “So, what’s going on with Demi?”
Jeyce took a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts. “Well, she invited me to this listening party, and it’s $25 to get in. I also wanted to buy her a milkshake afterward, and well… my dad just gave me a puberty talk, and now I’m emotionally scarred.”
Joe couldn’t contain his laughter, his hearty chuckles echoing through the speaker. “I can’t say I blame you, buddy. That talk can be pretty brutal.”
“For real, Uncle Joe,” Jeyce pleaded, feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. “Can you help me out?”
“Sure thing, little man. I’ll send some money to your Cash App,” Joe replied, his tone turning serious. “Just remember, you’re still a kid, and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes. You’ve got a great future ahead of you.”
“Thank you so much!” Jeyce said, relief flooding through him. “You’re the best!”
“Just keep being yourself, and don’t forget to show Demi a good time. She sounds like a great girl,” Joe advised, giving Jeyce a knowing smile.
As they finished their conversation, Jeyce felt lighter, the looming date feeling less daunting. With Uncle Joe’s help, he could make it work. He hung up, excitement bubbling within him as he imagined the evening ahead, all while secretly vowing to himself to keep practicing his social skills—spear or not.
Later that night, Rhea and Jey lay together on their California king-size bed, the soft glow of a bedside lamp casting a warm light across the room. Rhea had been focused on her laptop, and now she looked up with a triumphant smile. “There, it’s done,” she announced, closing the lid.
Jey looked up from his phone, curiosity piqued. “What’s done?”
Rhea beamed. “I booked our couple’s therapy appointment with the new therapist for next Monday.”
Jey nodded, feeling a sense of relief. “That’s good, babe. It’s about time we started working on things.”
“Oh, and don’t forget you have your physical therapy appointment tomorrow,” Rhea reminded him, a hint of concern in her voice.
“I know, I know,” Jey replied, waving his hand dismissively. He put his phone down and closed Rhea’s laptop, wanting to draw her attention back to him. Craving some intimacy, he turned to her, his expression softening. “How is my baby doing?”
Rhea smirked, her playful side coming out. “Well, baby and mommy both would’ve appreciated their donuts this morning.”
Jey burst into laughter, shaking his head. “Babe, really?”
“Don’t act like you’re not partially responsible for this craving,” Rhea shot back, her tone teasing. Jey sighed dramatically.
“You could’ve redeemed yourself tomorrow, but Bruce comes back and I have to be in the office.” Rhea said.
“Boooo,” he continued, making a face. “What I wanted was one of those sexy afternoons.” He raised his eyebrows, giving her a sultry smirk that made her giggle.
“Don’t tempt me right now, mister,” Rhea laughed, shaking her head.
“I’m just saying,” Jey replied, leaning closer, his voice lowering playfully. “I’m trying to get it in every night, babe. Who knows? One day you’re going to wake up and hate me.”
Rhea laughed again, the sound light and carefree. “That’s the beauty of pregnancy,” she said, grinning at him. “You’re stuck with me, whether you like it or not.”
“I don’t think I could ever hate you,” Jey said earnestly, his gaze searching hers. “Even on your worst days, you’re still the most amazing woman I know.”
Rhea’s heart swelled at his words, and she reached out to cup his face with her hand. “You’re sweet. Just remember, I might be a little cranky at times, especially with these hormones.”
“Bring it on,” Jey challenged playfully, leaning into her touch. “I’ll take cranky Rhea any day.”
She laughed, feeling lighter in that moment. “You’re brave, I’ll give you that. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“Warned and ready,” Jey said with a wink. He shifted closer, wrapping his arms around her, feeling the warmth of her body against his. “Now, how about we just enjoy this moment? No donuts, no therapy talk—just us.”
Rhea smiled, leaning her head against his shoulder. “I like the sound of that.”
They settled into a comfortable silence, the weight of the world outside their door fading away. In that intimate space, they found solace in each other, the love they shared radiating like a comforting blanket. As they lay entwined, they both knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, united as a family.
Jeyce lay sprawled on his bed, holding his phone up as he FaceTimed with Demi. She was propped up against her pillows, lying in her own bed, her dark hair cascading over her shoulders. The soft glow from her bedside lamp gave her an almost ethereal look.
“So… how is your family… blended?” Demi asked, her curiosity evident.
Jeyce took a deep breath, wondering how to put it into words. “Well, my brother Jaciyah told me that our dad just… fell out of love with our mom. And then he met Rhea—my bonus mom, Rhea Ripley.” He added the last part a bit shyly, as if he wasn’t sure how Demi would take it.
Demi’s eyes widened, a sparkle of excitement flickering in them. “Rhea Ripley? Like, the Rhea Ripley?”
Jeyce chuckled, nodding. “Yeah, she’s my bonus mom.”
Demi sighed wistfully, resting her chin on her hand. “I’d be happy every day if that was my bonus mom. My bonus dad is… well, he’s kind of a jerk.”
Jeyce’s expression softened with sympathy. “Why doesn’t your sister live with you?”
Demi shrugged, looking down briefly. “She wanted to live with my mom and my bonus dad in New Haven. So now it’s just me, my dad, and our cat, Thunder.” She gave him a small, reassuring smile. “It’s not so bad, though. Thunder keeps me company when I need it.”
“I’m sorry about that,” Jeyce said quietly, realizing how hard it must be for Demi to feel separated from her family.
Demi’s face brightened, her eyes warm. “It’s okay. At least we have each other, right?”
Jeyce felt his face heat up, his heart doing a little flip at her words. “Yeah… I’m glad we do.”
After a moment of silence, Jeyce finally gathered the courage to bring up what had been on his mind since this morning. “Uh, about… the kiss on the cheek?”
Demi’s cheeks tinged a light pink as she looked down, biting her lip. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. I won’t do it again.”
Jeyce’s heart raced, and before he could stop himself, he blurted out, “No! I… I liked it.”
Demi’s eyes lit up, her shy smile returning. “Oh. Well, Friday… can we consider it as a… date?”
Jeyce stuttered, the nerves taking over. “Y-y-yeah! I mean, yes! Of course!”
Demi giggled at his adorable response, her eyes shining with excitement. “Great. It’s a date, then.”
They both fell into an easy silence, each lost in the thrill of this new, uncharted territory. Jeyce could feel his cheeks hurting from smiling, but he didn’t care. For the first time, he felt like he’d found someone who understood him, someone he could talk to about anything.
As they continued to chat, the worries of the day faded away, replaced by the warmth of young love and the comfort of knowing they were no longer alone.
Friday, January 31st, 2025 - 4:37 PM
Jeyce held both of Demi’s hands as they stood at their usual streetlamp post where the bus dropped them off each day. The late afternoon light cast a warm glow over them, and the anticipation in the air was palpable.
“I can’t wait to see you tonight,” Demi said, her voice light with excitement. She smiled up at him, her eyes twinkling. “My sister wants you at the house by 6:45.”
Jeyce’s heart fluttered as he nodded. “Perfect,” he replied, almost too quickly, eager to get the evening started. He leaned in and kissed her lightly on the cheek, a gesture that felt both sweet and thrilling.
“See you later,” Demi said, a soft smile on her lips. They exchanged one last look before going their separate ways.
Jeyce’s feet barely touched the ground as he sprinted home. His mind raced with thoughts of the night ahead. He couldn’t believe it. It was his very first date. His first date with his boo Demi. She was everything he liked—smart, funny, and incredibly beautiful.
Arriving at the house, he quickly entered the code to the gate, the familiar mechanical sound of the gate unlocking giving him a sense of urgency. He hurried up the pathway and through the front door, only to find his mom, Takecia, sitting at the kitchen table, chatting with Rhea and Jey.
“Hey, Mom? Where’s Jaciyah?” Jeyce asked, barely catching his breath from the run. His excitement was palpable, but he didn’t have time for pleasantries.
Jey raised an eyebrow, looking at his son with mock seriousness. “It’s not nice to just rush in and ask questions like that, Jeyce. Take a breath and talk to your mom properly.”
Jeyce, still jittery from the thoughts of the date, exhaled and quickly spilled out, “Everything’s fine at school, I learned my lesson, don’t hit anyone with lunch boxes, yada yada…” He paused for a breath, giving his mom a look. “Where’s Jaciyah?”
Takecia smiled warmly at her son, shaking her head with affection. “I love you too, son,” she teased. “He’s upstairs.”
Without another word, Jeyce darted up the stairs, his excitement pushing him to move faster. He reached his brother’s room in a matter of seconds. Jeyce knocked, then pushed the door open and closed it behind him. Jaciyah, looking a bit surprised but grinning, glanced up from his bed.
“I. NEED. A. FAVOR.” Jeyce demanded.
“Yo,” Jaciyah said, still setting his stuff down. “I’ve been gone for two weeks and the first thing you say to me is what? ‘I need a favor’?”
Jeyce grinned sheepishly but didn’t waste any time. “Yeah. I need a favor,” he repeated. He quickly crossed the room to his brother and gave him a brief, quick hug before continuing. “I have a date.”
Jaciyah raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “A date? With who? Is it someone I need to worry about?”
Jeyce laughed nervously. “No, it’s with Demi. She’s really cool, Jaciyah. You don’t know her, but I swear, she’s awesome. And…” He hesitated for a second before going on. “Uncle Joe sent me some money for this listening party she invited me to, but I need you to drive me there.”
Jaciyah stood up from his bed, crossing his arms and giving his younger brother a teasing look. “A listening party, huh? Sounds like a pretty big deal.” He walked over to his dresser, grabbing a hoodie. “Alright, alright, what’s the favor?”
“I need you to come with me,” Jeyce said, his face flushing with embarrassment but also genuine hope. “So that Dad or Rhea won’t get suspicious. Please, Jaciyah. I really need your help.”
Jaciyah raised his hands in mock surrender, laughing. “Alright, alright, I got you, little man. I’ll go with you. But you owe me one after this, you hear?”
Jeyce smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. “Thank you, thank you, thank you! I promise, you won’t regret it.”
Jaciyah smirked, looking at his younger brother with a mix of amusement and brotherly affection. “Alright, alright. We’ll get you to your date. But first, we gotta get you looking sharp. Can’t show up at this ‘listening party’ looking like a slob.”
Jeyce chuckled, following Jaciyah as he grabbed a couple of his clothes. “Thanks, bro. You’re the best.”
“The listening party’s attire is black,” Jeyce said. “I need to look good, you know?”
Jaciyah rifled through his clothes, looking for a nice shirt for Jeyce. Jaciyah said “Ah hah.” And he through the item at Jeyce. Jeyce looked at the black polo collared shirt Jaciyah, holding it up to his chest.
Jaciyah gave him a playful side-eye. “Yeah, I know, you don’t want to mess this up with Demi.” He tossed the shirt to Jeyce and then walked over to his dresser, flipping through his clothes. “Alright, you’re good to go on the shirt, but what about your hair?” Jaciyah looked at him, raising an eyebrow.
Jeyce hesitated for a second, scratching the back of his head. “Well… can you braid it?” He glanced over, half-embarrassed, but also really wanting to make a good impression.
Jaciyah chuckled and looked at the clock. “How long do we have?”
“About an hour,” Jeyce replied quickly.
Jaciyah gave him a look, sizing up the time. “It’s pushing it, but I can do about six cornrows,” he said, rummaging through his styling products. “It’ll have to do.”
Jeyce nodded, his eyes lighting up with relief. “That’s fine,” he said, sitting cross-legged on the floor, ready for his older brother’s work. “Thanks, Jaciyah. I really need to look good for this.”
As Jaciyah worked his fingers through Jeyce’s hair, weaving the strands into neat cornrows, Jeyce started talking about Demi. “She’s really cool,” Jeyce said, a smile spreading across his face as he thought about her. “She invited me to this listening party, and I really like her. She’s kind of… different from the other girls at school. She’s got this vibe, you know?”
Jaciyah nodded, focusing on his work, trying to get the braids just right. “Yeah, I can tell. But, come on, tell me more about her. You’ve been talking about her non-stop. What’s so special?”
Jeyce leaned back slightly, enjoying the rhythm of Jaciyah’s braiding as he continued. “She’s… just different. Not like the other girls at school. She’s got black hair, and she’s got this cool, mysterious vibe. And she’s just really smart. Like, she gets me, you know? She’s the first person in a long time that I’ve really clicked with.”
Jaciyah paused for a second, raising an eyebrow. “Sounds like she’s got you good. What about her sister? I heard you mention her. Is she going to the party too?”
Jeyce nodded, his heart still racing at the thought of Demi. “Yeah, her sister’s going to be the one driving us there. But, honestly, I don’t know much about her sister. Demi’s told me some things, but she keeps her pretty private.”
Jaciyah smirked, finishing up the final braid. “Alright, cool. But you know I gotta ask—how old is her sister?”
Jeyce frowned slightly, looking at his older brother. “I don’t know. But don’t spoil this for me, Jaciyah,” he said, his voice tinged with a hint of frustration. “I really like her, okay? This date means a lot to me. Please don’t mess it up.”
Jaciyah looked down at his little brother, realizing how serious Jeyce was about this. He softened his tone, giving him a rare moment of older brother wisdom. “I won’t mess it up, little man,” he said, smoothing down the last cornrow and giving Jeyce a pat on the head. “I’m just looking out for you. But, hey, don’t worry. You’ll do fine. Just be yourself. You’ve got this.”
Jeyce smiled, relieved to have Jaciyah’s support, even though his older brother still had his teasing ways. “Thanks, Jaciyah,” he said, standing up and looking at his reflection in the mirror. “I appreciate it. Now, let’s go make sure I’m on time. I’ve got a date to impress.”
Jeyce and Jaciyah made their way downstairs, their footsteps echoing through the house. Jaciyah, feeling a surge of confidence, looked over at his dad, Jey, who was lounging on the couch with Rhea and Takecia. Jaciyah cleared his throat and asked, “Hey, Dad, can I borrow the keys to the Mercedes?”
Jey chuckled, raising an eyebrow at his seventeen-year-old son’s request. “The keys to my Mercedes? Really? Takecia and Rhea this boy said the keys to my Mercedes.”
Jaciyah didn’t miss a beat. “Yes, I’m serious. I’ve got… plans.”
Beside him, Jeyce nodded vigorously, backing up his brother’s request. “Yeah, we really need to go somewhere.”
Rhea, sitting close to Jey, exchanged a suspicious glance with Takecia. Takecia tilted her head and asked, “Where exactly are you boys planning on going?”
Thinking quickly, Jaciyah replied, “I saw a Pizza Hut nearby, and I was thinking of putting in an application. You know… part-time job and all.” He shrugged nonchalantly, trying to sound casual.
Rhea raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced, and turned her gaze to Jeyce. “Uh-huh. And what about you, Jeyce?” She looked him up and down, taking in his freshly braided hair and sharp outfit. “Why is your hair braided, and why are you all dressed up?”
Jeyce froze, trying to think of an excuse that wouldn’t tip them off. Suddenly, inspiration struck, and he blurted out, “I’m going through puberty, and I just… want to look nice. You know, like… feel good about myself.”
That answer seemed to catch the adults off guard, and they exchanged confused glances, unsure of how to respond. Takecia and Rhea glanced at each other, while Jey shifted uncomfortably, clearly unsure how to address the sudden topic of puberty.
Jeyce saw his chance and leaned in, doubling down. “Yeah, I’m going through puberty. And it’s hitting me hard. Like, really hard. So, you know, just… trying to look my best.”
Jey scratched the back of his neck, clearly out of his depth. “Uh… well… alright then,” he stammered, glancing at Rhea, who shrugged. He nodded toward the counter. “The keys are over there.”
Before they could ask any more questions, Jeyce and Jaciyah quickly called out their goodbyes and dashed toward the garage, trying to stifle their laughter until they were out of earshot.
As they climbed into the Mercedes, Jaciyah looked over at Jeyce with a smirk. “Puberty, huh? That was quick thinking.”
Jeyce grinned, buckling his seatbelt. “Hey, it worked, didn’t it?”
Jaciyah chuckled as he turned the key in the ignition, the car purring to life. “Alright, little Romeo, let’s go impress your girl.”

Use Me (Kinktober Fic)
Succubus Reader x Various JJK Men
.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.Chapter Seven.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.
“Watch and learn ladies and gents.” Toji spoke cockily as he hit the cue ball. It cracked loudly pingponging around. When all the commotion stopped, Fushiguro’s competitors released a loud groan. He grinned victoriously, only needing one more ball to win. Pool had always been an easy game for him to ace. Especially after Nanami showed him the keys to success.
“Alright Toj, Take us home.” His partner saluted him with his beer.
Toji picked up the chalk as he twisted the blue cube over the tip of the stick. That's when he heard the little chime of your bell. He glanced toward the crowd, looking for you. Were the peacocks done fanning out their feathers? Yet as his gaze surfed around he didn't see you or the others.
Perhaps it was his imagination.
“Come on man just take your shot!” the sore losers called in irritation.
Toji licked his lips with a seductive roll of his eyes, “I gotta make sure she's perfect for me.” he blew upon the tip and tossed the chalk to the side as he got into position. Bending at the hips he angled his shot perfectly. He heard the chime again, this time much louder, like you were right behind him. He looked back with furrowed brows. That time he was sure he heard the jingle, but once again you were nowhere to be found. This must be one of your little tricks. You were toying with him. Probably upset from earlier. He snorted before looking back. “Ngh-” his eyes widen seeing you on the table. Knees spread as you looked back at him with innocent-looking eyes. Yet what you were doing was far from innocent. You were dressed in a cute little doll outfit, one of his favorites with the blue bows and white knee-high socks. His cue stick was rubbing your frilly panties, splitting your cunt.
“You-” he grits his teeth as the blood immediately rushes to the lower parts of his body.
“Hm~daddy~ what are you doing?” you questioned with a sickeningly sweet voice. It echoed in his mind.
You weren't actually there. No one else could see you but him. Seriously? You were already able to make him hallucinate, and so vividly? Who the fuck gave you this much power? He gulped as everyone looked at him questioningly.
“You good bro?” his samurai partner questioned.
“Fine.” he bit out with a little growl. He tried to focus, ignoring the illusion of you. He just had to make this one shot. He moved the stick back and you let out a little squeak-but fuck you were making this difficult. His jaw clenched hard as he moved the stick back and forth- he swears he was just readying for the shot- but it rubbed beautifully upon your cunt.
“Kyah~st-stop~” you cried.
He could barely swallow the saliva in his mouth. Eyeing how wet your panties were getting from his actions.
Fuck you look so-
‘HIT THE BALL!’ he yelled at himself internally.
*Smack!*
He hit the ball throwing himself away from the table knowing damn well he didn't make it.
“Bummer dude.” but his opponents made sure to twist the shameful blade.
He rolled his eyes to the crowd. Where the fuck were you! You were making him miss out on money! He listened and sniffed for his little pet. “You see our kitten around?” he asked his buddy while still searching.
Hm? Oh, that cute thing? Naw haven't seen her.” The guy answered before crushing his beer. “You worried about her?”
“Yeah…” Toji lied. You were a powerful being. Even if you didn't think so they were all very much aware of how scary your potential was. He wasn't afraid for you. You can handle yourself. He looked toward the table with a little tick of his scared lip. He was afraid to LOSE HIS MONEY! Your illusion was no longer on the table so he could only hope you would shed him some mercy for his little joke from earlier.
You…didn’t take that personally right?
He rubbed the stick thoughtfully, wondering if he could feel the wetness upon it. Sadly he couldn't. What he saw wasn't real after all, but perhaps he would need to recreate that scenario when this stupid party was over.
He was elbowed back to reality. “Your go Toj.”
“Right.” he nodded stepping up to the table. He took a deep breath, getting ready-
*Ding~*
That damn chime again- this time it was under him. He glanced down before he could tell himself not to. You were on your knees, looking up at him, with fluttering lashes.
Not this time- he looked back up and nearly passed out. Your legs were spread in the splits, pussy glistening for his view. You were so wet it was dripping upon the table. You moaned, with the very ball he needed inside of you. You toyed with it with a teasing finger before it plopped out and rolled toward him, hitting his hand.
“Oh god-” he flinched. The stick barely tapped the ball but his opponents jumped and pointed.
“Ah! You hit it! That counts!”
“Are- are you fucking kidding?” Toji hissed eyes moved to them but quickly tried to find you. You were gone within a blink.
“Rules are rules!”
“I-s-something was in my eye!”
Everyone around burst into a fit of laughter, making the older man feel angrily embarrassed. However, the tinkle of your laugh was heard much louder. Right in his ear. He looked to see you were in the crowd giggling, but within the next flash of light, you were gone.
Your bell chimes like a haunting whisper.
You little…
Toji growled in irritation, taking the stick he snapped it over his knee making everyone shut up instantly.
“Where the fuck is my pet!” he barked while pushing into the crowd. If a cock is what you wanted then a cock is what he’s going to give you. All fifteen fucking inches!
~
You watch from the banister as Toji pushes into the crowd looking for you.
You released a little giggle at his frustrated expression.
Served him right.
You move in the opposite direction, content with allowing the beast to chase you.
You had quite the meal, you were much stronger now. So you saw the boy before he even grabbed you around your wrist, but you let him pull you into his room.
His lips were upon you as soon as your back hit the door.
“Yu?” you gasped with an excited smile.
“Hey, baby~” he grinned while kissing you.
“You were able to get away from Nanami?” you giggled as his lips moved over your neck.
“I maaaay have tricked him.” he released a boyish chuckle while lifting you. He carried you to his desk, sitting you in his black and white chair.
“Tricked him? Hm~” You place a finger upon his lips as you guide him to the floor. “…I just might be a bad influence just like they say.”
“No never!” Yu pouted sliding your panties down. “They just don't see you how I see you…” his cheeks blushed as he slipped your feet out of the fabric. “…If they did then they'd understand.”
You felt heat touch your heart as you smiled sweetly, you flicked your fingers making your boots disappear. “…and…” You breathed as Yu massaged your calf, placing kisses upon your leg like your very presence was a blessing bestowed upon his life. “…how do you see me?” you questioned pressing your foot into his crotch.
Yu sucked in a breath while rolling his eyes, “As…mm…the m-most beautiful queen who deserves to be praised.”
A flirty giggle left your lips. You roll your leg up as you place your foot on his desk. “Would you like… to please your queen?”
“Yes!” Yu barked out excitedly.
“Good boy.” Sliding your fingers into his brown hair, you bring him closer so that his face may nestle between your thighs.
He blushed madly, the scent of his precum filled your nose. You know Yu would rather be your pet than the other way around.
You let out a little cry, feeling his wet tongue touch you so delicately yet eagerly. He moaned bobbing his head slowly as he enjoyed his treat.
There was no use in holding your pleasure back, that would just be rude. You made sure to let him know how pleased you were. Praising him and whispering sweet nothings. His hands grabbed your thighs, spreading you wider for his wicked tongue.
Your eyes rolled as your orgasm shocked your core. “Ah~! Yuuu~!” you whine while gripping on him tightly.
“Hm~!” Haibara groaned in pleasure as you squirt on his tongue. He smiled with pride, licking his lips. “I think…hm… that's the fastest I've made you cum…” he grinned but then he got wobbly as he fell backward under his desk.
“Ai!” You let out a gasp, cupping his face. “Are you okay?” Unfortunately, even your juices will drain him of his curse energy.
“Y-yeah… just give me a minute.” He smiled with droopy lids.
“I-”
“Yu!” You heard the blonde callout.
Oh fuck.
“Are you in here…” Nanami opened the door as his gaze rested on you, who was now sitting upright at Yu’s desk with your chin resting on your fist.
Well well well…if it wasn't the certified cockblocker.

*Au idea:Dreaded king Adam*
The council of heaven(or God) had to promise Adam to Lucifer(kind of like the Persephone story). The harem hates this idea but it’s no use.
Also just imagine their reaction to Adam coming into a meeting with a baby Charlie(she was made by magic by Lucifer to make Adam happy).
That to me can be either sad or funny because it can go one of two ways
An angsty route where the harem only gets to see Adam in the meetings and either romantically or not, miss each other’s company. Even if Adam does come to love Lucifer at some point or does willingly go down and feels content in hell ofc he’s going to miss the people he used to hang out with. Those meetings have a a great underlying vibe of longing that no amount to treasure can mediate
not my thing so there’s also the crack funny route where the harem would def be distraught before they're like :
"You know what imma sneak down there idgaf"
One of them was def crying for a bit before the decision is made (it's Mike and Jophiel)
Idk whether or not you're envisioning that Adam is together with them before the engagement or just likes them platonically tho but assuming he is romantic again I do find it funny if they sneak into lucifers castle with his help and they hang around until lucifer catches on (I mean Adam doesn't have be with them to just wanna hang out with his old buddies. It does get lonely in that castle lol. And what is hell to do againt what is basically a group of unstoppable forces)
They're all hanging out in the master bedroom till lucifer busts in shocked to see them all there
Lucifer: Wh- WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE!?
Gabriel: Catching up with our boyfriend, duh. What do you want?
Lucifer: for you all to leave???
Uriel: mmnnnn.... naaaah..
Raphael: yeah we really miss our boyfriend so if you don't wanna be here could you just...? *he kinda just shoos lucifer*
Lucifer looks all pissed off: If you don't remember, IM the one who lives here and IM the one married to him.
Hes showing off his ring but there's a united scoff from the harem
Azrael: no offense but since when did you respect the sanctity of marriage?
This leads to this large fight, tho since lucys outnumbered, so he's not winning here. Thankfully, adam is there to calm them down. Adam argues that while yes hes married to lucifer, it wasnt fair to be pulled away from the people he cares about so no, hes still going to see his harem (whether romantic or not is up to you. He can just like being around them as friends while still loving lucifer or at least growing to love him)
So lucifer gets at least one archangel or virtue visiting every day. This oddly gets the siblings closer to lucifer again. They sometimes hang out with Lucifer as well or just him for old times sake
They could even have their own rooms there too. It would be kinda nice to see and bond with his family again. Maybe Lucifer opens the marriage idk tho
When they see Charlie for the first time, they're shocked and a bit jealous. Gabe def wanted kids with Adam lol. They're actually pretty good with her all things concerned, but they do dress her up and act like she's their own. Since she's made of magic and young, I do think they have some moderate influence on her appearance. Like she's still forming in a way. So when they first get their hands on her, they change the color of her cheek marks to their responding colors. It's like that scene in sleeping beauty with the faries and the dress, but imagine the rainbow instead and whats changing is charlies cheeks and hair color. Adam does get huffy about it tho and they all reluctantly turn her back to red cheeked and blonde
Ngl in the early stages they were trying to be another parent to her as a sort of get back at Lucifer for 'stealing' Adam, trying to get her favor whenever they visit or have meetings. But they chill out over time. Doesn't mean they don't get a bit smug is charlie seems to prefer going to them for some things.
The only really dreaded thing is, for the harem at that point, is not being always able to barge in
This was probably supposed to be more angst or something my bad lol

'babysitting' the Kaulitz twins °. 2003
₊‧.°.⋆ fluff ⋆.°.‧₊
your mother and the twins' mother are friends. When Miss Kaulitz wants to go on a trip with her boyfriend for the weekend, you are asked to look after her sons.
You don't really feel like it. You know Bill and Tom and you are well aware that they can be quite mischievous and naughty and constantly get into some kind of trouble. But your mother sends you over and now you have to spend the weekend with the little twins.
When you arrive, you sit down on the sofa, annoyed, and turn on the TV. The twins instantly come running up to you. Tom grins cheekily “I heard you really wanted to spend the weekend with us”
You roll your eyes “I think you've misunderstood something, little buddy. I'm here to babysit”
Tom tilts his head a little “and that means…” you sigh as you try to concentrate on the TV “that means you are a baby and I am going to sit around”
Bill chuckles a little mischievously and gives his brother a punch in the side “did you hear that? you're a baby”
Tom furrows his eyebrows “I'm not a baby. I'm almost a man”.
You're still trying to concentrate on the TV while the twins tease each other. “I don't see no man here…” you mumble, a little annoyed. Tom looks back and forth between you and Bill. Bill grins “'Told you so”
Tom snorts in annoyance "ok, whatever" he turns towards the tv and turns it off "no tv. Mom said we have to save electricity"
You sigh and chew on your bottom lip "alright guys, what then? you wanna... I don't know, play outside?"
Tom acts all cocky "I got a bed. We can play in there"
You shake your head in disbelief and get off the sofa "careful little buddy, you're way too young to be talking about any of that"
Tom acts like he's sooo grown and tilts his head a little "hm? I'm almost 14. So I'm almost 16 and that means I'm almost 18, so I'm about your age"
You can't help but giggle at this logic. Awww, he's such a little cutie. You take a step forward and pat him encouragingly on the shoulder "yeah sure. And if you keep aging this fast in a matter of seconds, we might as well say you're almost 80 too and then Bill and I would have to start asking around to find a place for you in an old people's home"
Bill breaks out laughing as Tom shakes your hand off his shoulder and frowns at you "not funny..." he grumbles.
you smile at the twins "ok, serious now. What do you want to do? We gotta do something"
Bill grins: “You know, Tom and I have a band. We play real songs and are extremely popular. We have 10,000 fans”
Tom clears his throat and pokes his brother in the side: "more like 10 fans…" you raise an eyebrow. so these two kids have a band now? cute, but what does ‘real songs’ mean to Bill?
you shrug your shoulders ”so are you going to play me something or what?”
Bill grins again: “of course!” Tom, however, chews on his lower lip a little sheepishly: “uhhhh…. well, half the band is missing. And Bill isn't a particularly good singer, so don't expect too much now…”
Bill gasps in offense “hey, you sing then, Tom!”
Tom quickly acts as if he would ever dare to do that “well, so… we all know I sing best here. but out of … reasons… I can't sing at the moment. Um… I have to rest my golden voice”
Bill and you burst out laughing, Tom grins a little proudly.
After a while you remember that the twins probably have to do something for school "say, don't you two have any homework?"
Bill's eyes widen slightly and he quickly diverts from the topic: "Uhhh, I know what we're doing next. We're writing a new song for our band. It's really super important, we can't put it off”
Tom nods and makes a very innocent face: "Exactly. That has to be done. Super urgent. The fans… They're waiting. We can't leave them hanging” You look at the boys, a little confused: "all 10 fans are waiting? Huh? Do you have homework or not?” Bill distracts you again: “10 fans, 10,000 fans, what's the difference? They're eagerly waiting for a new hit. Come on” Bill takes you by the hand and you follow the twins to the kitchen table.
Tom gives you a pencil and Bill places a block in front you. Tom grins: "Well, get started then"
you look back and forth between the twins with a look of surprise "Me?" Bill smirks at his brother: "Not so easy, huh? Well, not everyone is a musical genius."
Tom grins back and the brothers give each other a big high five.
You smile, thinking the twins are adorable: "Ok you two, i'll write it down and you think about the lyrics. then the next hit should be ready in the next few minutes, riiiight?"
Tom immediately backtracks a little: "Uh, it was mostly Bill's idea anyway. Don't look at me!" Bill rolls his eyes: “pff typical. What I wouldn't do to work with professionals for once” Tom snorts: “Yeah, me too!” You try to stifle a giggle at their little argument. Bill sighs. "Well, let me think for a moment. I'm only doing all this for our countless fans!" The three of you work on new songs, most of the ideas originate from Bill, and Tom and you only throw in a few words occasionally. The results are… ok. And the twins complain that your handwriting is soooo hard to read. As if.
You then make a few sandwiches together and have dinner. Later you put the twins to bed, although they whine that they're waaaay too old to be put to bed and they're not at aaaaall tired yet. They have to go to bed anyway. You sit down in the living room and read some tabloid you bought after school yesterday. After a while, you go back upstairs to see if the boys have fallen asleep.
You open the door to Tom's room a crack and are shocked to see that his bed is empty. Oh no, God please no! You get scared and start imagining the worst case scenarios in your head.
You can only hope that Bill is still there and can tell you where his brother might have gone in the middle of the night!
You go over to Bill's bedroom door and open it. Your heart skips a beat.
Relief fills your whole body. Tom is lying next to Bill in Bill's bed, back to back, eyes closed and breathing in sync. You can't help but smile
"Good night you little rascals" you whisper and close the door.

Yeah sorry buddy you guys are twins 💀💀💀
I guess this is canon to my AU but ignore how evil Dougy looks, he loves his children/ niece and nephews actually.
Before he started being all good and stuff Chase spent a long time staring at himself in the mirror. He looks a lot like his dad, he acts a lot like his dad, in another timeline would he have been a lot like dad? Maybe that timeline is this one. Then he gets over that cause I love when characters are happy, not a total perfect happiness, but they have an overall good outlook on the future ya know?? Unless it’s Descendants tho, gotta stay stressed over there.
Bonus: non lighted pictures of the twins
