If you switch because you don’t remember how to say it in the language so you say it in another, he won’t make fun of you and will help you remember the word if you want

“A chandelier?” He asks and becomes happy and says ‘yay’ when you tell him yes

If you like to randomly switch over then he tries to remember the words and also will attempt to pronounce it. He’s very curious and is up to learning if you want to teach him and wouldn’t mind if you tease his pronunciation and would just playfully be mad at you

Kou Minamoto

Be ready to be bombarded with questions about the language and will try to learn it

Stays up at night studying about it so much that it starts to be concerning to Teru and you, and ends up with the two of you having to prey him away from his desk and get some rest

Never shames if you can’t get the exact words right and will never tease you! Might correct you sometimes or will help you remember but never makes fun of you

At some point, he ends up knowing the language pretty well and whenever you’re over at his place, you two end up talking in that language with Teru wanting and begging to know what you two are talking about and Tiara not caring

Nene Yashiro

Thinks your so cool and awesome for knowing/learning another language and looks at you with starry bright eyes with her mouth open in shock

If you can’t remember a word then she’ll try to help, although she might not get it right all the time and it would just end up being a guessing game between the two of you

“Hmmm… is it mirror?” She asks and hums again when you say no as you both wonder what the word could be with your hands under your chin as you both think

She might try to learn the language but she won’t always get it right so don’t make fun of her, her heart won’t be able to take it

She won’t ever make fun of you though! She can’t bear the thought of being mean to you!

TBHK Headcanons : First Date Edition!

These aren't ship specific, just where I think each of the characters would take someone out on a first date.

Nene: She'd take her date out to a farm, especially a sunflower farm. She'd show off her best skills, gardening! She'd nerd out on how to care for different plants and wear a floral patterned dress. Maybe even clip her hair up with a cute flower-styled pin.

Hanako: He'd want to be somewhere cozy and nice. He'd be casual and adventure around town to go exploring. Ideally, he'd star gaze, but he wants it to be perfectly clear and quiet out at night in order to do that.

Kou: He'd go through a list of suggestions his brother gave him (all setting him up for failure, Teru probably doesn't like the idea of his little brother dating anyone and getting his heart broken). He'd pick the cheapest and simplest option, wear something casual, and make it work out perfectly!

Mitsuba: He'd take his date out hiking so he can take a beautiful photo of them with the sunset in the background once they reach the top of the mountain.

Teru: He'd plan to give his date the princess treatment; going anywhere they want, paying for their food, buying jewelry, and protecting them from the cold and suspicious people. He'd dress very nice but try and act all aloof and cold. On the inside he'd be a fumbling mess who has no idea what to actually do.

Akane: He'd do the same as Teru but bump up the protectiveness to 1000. Also, he'd go all out to look handsome.

Aoi: She'd just want to go to a café and chat for a while. Nothing too fancy or stuffy. She just likes something simple, a place where she won't feel so anxious to express herself.

Tsukasa: He'd take his date to a movie; a horror movie. Something so gruesome and gory that his date would cling to them the entire time. He would watch and enjoy his date squirm from the gross movie. He'd psychologically torture his date. Probably don't go out with him.

Funniest headcanons?

Okay wow I have so many crack headcanons so prepare yourself. Take every negative thing I’ve ever said abt fanon and throw it out the window, this is about to get so unserious

• Hanako is a fudanshi. This applies to the whole Toilet Gang (except Nene would be called a fujoshi), they’ve got a little book club. Hanako is the most insane about it tho

• Aoi and Akane are a himejoshi/himedanshi couple

• Lemon and Akane smoke weed together on a regular basis (throw back to the time I looked up “slang words for marijuana” for my Terukaneaoi fic and ended up sounding like Skyler White)

• I feel like an average conversation between the Toilet Gang is the most insufferable, out of pocket middle school humor you’ve ever heard in your life. Those four make South Park look like a kids show

• Akane has a random lock of Aoi’s hair on a shelf in his room

• Since the Minamoto father is absent and the mother is dead, Tiara just kind of assumes Teru and Akane are her parents. Instead of correcting her on this, Akane decides to be the dad who stepped up

• Akane is one of those filmbros who does NOT play abt Pulp Fiction (me) (that’s the second time I’ve mentioned that movie in relation to Akane today)

• He’s also the type to ask you to name three Nirvana songs if he catches you wearing one of their shirts and if you even so much as think about saying Smells Like Teen Spirit, he’ll shoot you in the head

• Hanako is lowkey mad Kou and Mitsuba started dating without him

• She’s also a BookTok girlie (not one of the really bad ones, just cringy. As in she would unironically love the book boyfriend audio)

• Sakura is rly into disturbing movies and they make Natsuhiko watch them with them just to make him nauseous
