i do think one of the funniest mitsukou scenes in the manga is when mitsuba tried to ragebait hanako by telling him that he and nene had a date off school grounds but then also accidentally ends up succeeding in making kou mad and he can't figure out why he's not happy about it. like my brother in christ how are you possibly this oblivious

I'm not good at drawing objects, or characters fighting or being physical in general, bad at sitting poses and animals, good at hands but terrible at drawing legs for some reason. So there's some ideas?

there's this model called the karpman drama triangle" that details the dynamic of a dysfunctional relationship (romantic, platonic, whatever) and it has some seriously scary parallels with mitsukou (ToT)

there are three roles:

victim

rescuer

persecuter

this is what wikapedia has to say about each role, cut down to whatever i think is relevant to mitsukou but that doesn't really matter because it's all kind of relevant and that's making me even more worried ;-;

"the victim in this model is not intended to represent an actual victim, but rather someone feeling or acting like one.[1] the victim seeks to convince him or herself and others that he or she cannot do anything, nothing can be done, all attempts are futile, despite trying hard."

tl;dr mitsukou is a classic case of the karpman drama triangle with mitsuba as the victim, kou as the rescuer, and the persecutor is undefined

which is really really not good at all because relationships following this pattern always break down, and if they don't it's because the cycle was broken- not because somehow they made it work

okay wait hold on about the new chapter (spoiler)

this is basically my "pretty sure guesses" dump

amane is time traveling and we don't know for how long, but he has to have been through a lot of timelines because he knew what nene "should've" looked like when he saw her.

the amane nene saw when she first was stuck in nowhere is the same amane is this chapter

this amane is probably the one we saw fixing the clock (therefore, he's been hanako before we saw him in 128...? cause we saw hanako remembering fixing the clock, and the amane fixing the clock is wearing the same outfit)

but i'm also not sure what amane's attempting to prevent here, he seems confused as to why this nene is here (he might have expected a nene with less/more restarts)

which means he can't be attempting to prevent the hell nene just rewinded time to go back from- right...? i dunno my brain is fried

either amane's trying to keep tsukasa alive, prevent becoming no. 7, or- and this is what i think is most likely- protect nene
