Yea! Beta Wally is just his old design that's no longer canon to WH. But ya kno, fandoms being fandoms he has his own fanon personality which, for me, leans into how most people ASSUMED Wally was before this first big update.

That kinda secretly dangerous vibe. Most people have him being a bit moody, i like to think he has that pretend niceness. But ya kno. Like with everything, everyone interprets characters different. Especially one where it's a lot of fanon.

i finished my family tree for corlys/house velaryon/dragon twins AND i used that to solidify one for my “freya hightower” au which i decided to combine with my “ned finds out he has magical kids” au for shits and giggles. Catelyn deserves a crazy Hightower mom to queen out with alright!

watched the first two episodes of the live action one piece last night and, and

a. regret to inform u that in spite of it's terrible tumblr marketing campaign it is an actually entertaining show that displays a love for its source material (and respects the silliness of it) while making smart & reasonable decisions for an adaptation to a different medium, cannot fucking believe they broke the bad live action anime adaptations curse with ONE PIECE, also the production value is rly incredible honestly the sets and costumes are cool as hell,

and b. buggy truly the most insufferable theater kid, like he feels like he desperately wanted to play hamlet all his life but has had to do comedy so long that he is now incapable of not doing funny things. like if a thing is funny he HAS to do it and he will hate it the entire time. terrible guy. excellent character work.

also they rly love to put zoro in situations huh. every day he is getting tied up.

#algie watches one piece #it's a pretty good show with good writing (pay ur writers netflix) and excellent acting (pay ur actors also!!)#and lovely sets and costumes and stuff (set design n costumes not on strike but pay them ya fuckos)#cannot believe that this is how they break the bad adaptations streak but somebody had to do it i guess #it's obvs not a 1 to 1 faithful adaptation of the anime or manga but that is so obvious and clear for a live action adaptation #i am hoping that once the strike is done they get more seasons and also that netflix stops fucking cancelling shows after two seasons #but it would also be sensible to end each season on if not a true ending at least an okay wrapping up point. u kno.#bcos the anime is in fact so goddamn long and i do not expect them to cover it fully...... u get it #also i have not consumed all of the one piece anime or manga. some of it yes but it's SO long. u see.

#so my mom's wake thing was today and that was a lot. not in an emotional sense but in a im standing here talking for 3hrs #to ppl i dont kno or barely kno. ya kno? but it was good bc so many ppl showed up to talk abt her #so many people. my mom made a huge impact on the school system. so many ppl relied on her. she encouraged at least 2 ppl to get their #master. for one person to specilize in helping the dyslexic after her experience advocating for 3 dyslexic daughters. she wrote and was #awarded a 10000 dollar grant for special needs and intervention curriculum. which will affect so many lives.#everyone loved her. she's gonna get a track meet named after her and a scholarship created in her honor.#she was an amazing person and she affected a lot of lives and im glad she was my mom. and she raised at least one jem in my littlest #sister who is so sweet and is a great teacher. god but there was some weird stuff too. were pretty sure her old boss was in love with her.#and there were some weird comments abt her being a strong woman or this woman doing so much and its like hm y do i detect a note of sexism #y not say she was an amazing person? y the surprise? weird comments about how pretty i looked. which yes i looked great lol. my funeral fit #was cute. we did bright colors bc it was a celebration not a dower event. and im sure it was ment well but it was a lil weird. and then #everyone was telling my grandma what a great job she did raising my mom and like god fuck off she didn't do jack. my mom was great despite #her terrible mother. ugh. but altogether it was good that everyone was able to express their love for her. it was def a day that was for #them mostly. i mean partly for us but mostly for them. none of us even cried. ay but we have 2 more parties in her honor #bc everyone loved her so much we have to do one in her hometown too. plus a personal friends get together. ugh. im so tired #i wish i wasnt the most awkward. eye contact avoidant person in the room but like ya kno. what can ya do?#unrelated
