You're without a doubt my favorite writer on this app, you write yanderes so so well and you just manage to capture so amazingly the personality of EVERY character you write, especially Byakuya, i love him so much, and you just write him so well, i've been reading and rereading your works nonstop!

Could i please request yandere Byakuya with a Reader who's very kind and gentle and they like to follow him around (not in an annoying way, but in an attempt to try to befriend him and make sure he is okay during the killing game, since he is kinda excluded for being an ass). Better yet, how would he react to Reader actually leaving him alone after he went too far, or was too mean to them

It’s honestly an honor

That you’re transmigrated into an anime/game

Too bad it’s the killing game of Danganronpa

And of course, with you thrown in the middle things are really unpredictable

So you’ll comfort yourself in being as kind to these characters as you possibly can

Especially Byakuya

A fan favorite and an intriguing ally throughout the game

Of course, you just gravitate toward him

Even though he sneers and insults you

Sometimes threatens

But you don’t mind…

Even though….

Those comments are beginning to hurt 

It’s one thing to love a meaner character through the screen but in person, it’s pretty hard

despite your inclination to maintain your usual smile and gentle actions

After a while, you just stop trying 

Too bad some may consider that your biggest mistake:

“Honestly I was hoping you’d turn up as one of the corpses during this farce; it probably would have made it even more interesting.”

That was it.

That was the last straw for you. Toko could have all his time and attention for all you care. The sheer fact you’ve put up with this for so long disgusts you. To hear your own life be spat on by the guy you’d been trying to extend a helping hand to–it was despicable. (Of him or of you, you couldn’t decide.)

“Ah, I see. Have a good night then.”

That was the last time you went out of your way to speak to him; immediately changing your schedule to accompany someone else. Since you’d been away with Byakuya you almost forgot how kind the rest of the group was. 

“(Y/n) I’m so happy you’re willing to hang out now! Let’s make donuts together!”

“After that I hope you’ll indulge me and Naegi in a puzzle of sorts.”

“I-if it’s alright with you..”

It was refreshing. 

To be told you were actually wanted around was somehow so fulfilling.

What terrible company you’ve been keeping.

“I’d love to!” Within a matter of days you are feeling the warmth of friendly interactions; whereas the man you’re avoiding is having a….less than stellar reaction.

Crash! 

Toko was excited that her Byakuya-sama had finally chased you. A rival weak enough to be effected by words wasn’t much of a rival at all! But upon your absence in only a few hours into his daily routine Byakuya had made an intense realization. 

That he desperately desired your attention on him.

He didn’t have to actually see you skirting your routine with him to know he hated the thought of you spending any amount of time with his classmates rivals. It literally made his skin itch and his throat close up with every minute away from you. Naturally he doesn’t care that even Toko is unnerved by the tantrum he throws. Books are strewn about, the shelves dangerously leaning against one another. All of it just an emphasis of the palpable malice emanating off of Byakuya. In the middle of the ruins he just stands still. 

Alarmingly still.

Like a predator looking out. 

Are they hunting? Scoping? Contemplating the ways to torture their enemies?

No one really knows.

Even when he pulls at his hair and belts out in an uncouth laughing fit. In an instant he stops demanding Monokuma show himself this instant. He needed to find you. Now. He’ll make it a point to inform the headmaster of his own teaching. 

Because apparently you–being the kind and gentle soul you are should be able to withstand all kinds of people. Especially him. Always him. So he’ll offer his own guidance by keeping you within arms reach at all times. 

He expects you to persist against anything he can throw at you.

When you and Byakuya first met, you were kind of intimidated by him

His ice blue eyes frozen in a permanent glare, how he looked down on everyone else, how he treated your situation like a game

And how tall he was

DAMN LOOK AT HOMEBOY'S LEGS-

When he tampered with Chihiro's body, your intimidation of him changed to complete disgust

You realized that he was basically harmless

He kept swearing that he would survive, so you knew that he wouldn't screw it up by killing someone

Or so you thought-

So you decided to just avoid him

On the other hand, Byakuya was intrigued by you

You were quiet and kept to youself, you never opposed him when he said something rude, and you were fairly attractive

Most of all, you didn't cling onto him like Toko did

If someone even looked at Byakuya, or even the other way around, Toko would hate that person right off the bat

So when Byakuya ever glanced at you, or you guys ever had a quick exchange, Toko immediately entered Yandere-chan mode

She glared at you, insulted you, and even threatened to sic Genocide Jill on you

Once again, you really weren't concerned

Byakuya ordered her to stay away from you, and she did

For a while

When Byakuya confessed to you, half of him was just trying to get Toko off his back

But you were the most perfect love interest candidate out of everyone else, and you had pretty decent looks

So not only would Toko leave him alone, he wouldn't completely despise being with you!

It was the perfect plan!

When he confessed, you were caught way off guard, and you were flustered and stumbling over your words

You accepted nonetheless, as you did find him attractive

And over time, he began to really love you

And that love turned into an overwhelming desire to protect you

But the library was the last place Byakuya should have confessed

Because Toko was lurking behind the bookcases, watching you carefully

And boy oh boy, was she furious

She was seething with pure rage, and the moment you and Byakuya left the library, Toko kicked a table

"R-Ridiculous! How could M-Master Byakuya choose that s-slut over me?!"

Even though Byakuya ordered her to stay away, Toko spent all night plotting a murder

The consequences didn't even register in her mind at the moment, she was blinded by lust

While you were walking alone in a very dark hallway, you heard footsteps.

Quick, rapid footsteps.

When you turned around, you feel sharp pain as a sharp object slices your cheek.

You fell backwards onto your side, and before you could even register what just happened, you were lifted up by the neck and pinned to the wall.

You were met with a pair of bright red eyes and a wicked smile with a long tongue sticking out.

Genocide Jill pointed her signature scissors at your throat.

"Well, well, you thought you could steal my white knight away from me, did ya?"

Sweat beaded on your forehead as you gulp, feeling it press against your throat uncomfortably before it finally went down.

Genocide Jill's smile widened.

"You're not worthy of my signature killing style, you're not nearly cute enough for that..."

She touches the side of her scissors to the middle of your throat, letting out a low snarl when she feels you gulp again, her demeanor immediately changing.

"You have no right to be afraid, you whore," she spat. "You should've seen what was coming the moment you decided to take my prince away from me!"

Her smile disappeared, now replaced with an angry scowl, as she pressed the scissors a little harder into your throat, not hard enough to bleed, but hard enough to make a nasty cut if she dug deeper.

"Now my master and I will be able to live happily ever after!" She cackled.

After she composed herself, her grip tightens on your neck, and her scissors.

Right when she prepared to dig them into your throat, her grip around your neck was suddenly released as the serial killer was roughly pushed away from you.

(When I was trying to type away, I typed assy😆)

Genocide Jill fell to the ground roughly, and you slid down against the wall as you held your hand to your throat, breathing heavily. Genocide Jill's scissors made a clink sound as they hit the ground as well.

"Are you alright, love?"

You immediately looked up at the sound of a familiar voice.

You saw Byakuya kneeling before you, giving you a gentle look of concern as he offered you his hand.

You took it, and he helped you to stand, though your legs were shaking a little bit.

"Yeah. Thank you," you say breathlessly.

When Byakuya cast an angry look at the serial killer, you realized that Byakuya had saved you by pushing her away from you.

When Genocide Jill finally sat up, the dust on the floor that collected after she collided with it began to surround her, which brought out a sneeze.

When her eyes opened again, they're no longer the glaring bright red you had shaken in fear of a few moments ago, but the purple-ish gray eyes of the writing prodigy.

Toko sat up with a groan, and when she registered her surroundings, her eyes laid on Byakuya.

"M-Master Byakuya! W-What happened?"

Byakuya glared at her as he stepped towards her.

"I'll tell you what happened, Fukawa," he barked. "Your psychotic other self attempted to murder (Name)."

Toko turned her head to you, her wide eyes narrowing to a glare.

"I believe I told you to stay away from them, did I not?" He snarled.

"Y-Yeah you did, b-but that s-s-slut was g-getting in the w-way of our love!" She pointed at you accusingly. "T-They were t-trying to t-t-take you away from m-me!" She replied with a snarl of her own.

"There is no love between us, Fukawa! There is nothing! We have nothing! I chose them, not you! Because I have no love for you!" Byakuya raged.

Toko watched with shock and fear as Byakuya bent down to pick up the scissors.

Toko backed away into the wall as he approached her. You watched in shock as Byakuya picked her up by the neck, the same way she had done to you moments before.

(VERY GRAPHIC CHARACTER DEATH AHEAD!)

Byakuya dug the scissors into her throat and began to pull them down. Blood immediately began pouring down Toko's throat as the scissors stop at the base of her throat. Toko whimpered with pain and fear.

Byakuya leaned in close to Toko's ear.

"You will never interfere with me and my darling ever again."

The whimpers became a loud, deafening shriek of pain as Byakuya wrenched the scissors into Toko's chest and down into her stomach. The screams begin to die out as Byakuya released her neck and she slid down the wall.

When Byakuya dropped the scissors and turned towards you, you saw a very long gouge from her throat to her stomach, and blood was all over the wall and floor as it continued to pool out of her wound.

You were frozen with complete and utter terror as Byakuya approached you.

Oh, he hated to see you so scared, but you understood why he did it, right?

He was only trying to protect you, like he promised.

Byakuya was covered in blood too, and his pupils were shrunk as he gazed down upon you with a grin.

"Did she hurt you?" He asks. You shook your head, unable to speak.

Then, you started shaking.

"W-W-Why d-did you d-d-do that?" You forced out.

"Good God, you sound just like Fukawa," Byakuya stated as he took you into his arms.

"I know that was very hard to watch, darling. But you must understand that..."

"I was only trying to protect you."

with a smug smile, you turned around to the heir of the togami family, who had a rather annoyed look on his face. yet despite how much you seemed to annoy him, he wouldn't leave your side. 

"trust me, i'd prefer to spend my time with more important things. but someone already tried to kill you, so i can't have you wandering around and make an easy target of yourself!"

the time someone tried to kill you that byakuya was referring to was someone trying to break into your room two nights ago. ever since then, byakuya, who claimed he didn't care about anyone in this killing game, had been following you around wherever you went. 

"besides…" byakuya spoke up once more. "i'm not your enemy... i simply don't like you and find you annoying. but i don't care about you enough to make you my enemy" 

if anyone else had told you this, you'd just roll your eyes and tell them to leave you alone. but with byakuya, it was amusing to see how much he tried to hide that he cared about you. otherwise he wouldn't have stuck around with you all this time…

"sure, whatever you say~" you huffed amused and continued to carry on with your day, with byakuya following shortly behind you. 

he wondered how you could be this calm, when someone had tried to break into your room and potentially kill you. it seemed to him like you weren't taking the situation seriously, which worried him. not just because you were being reckless, but because he feared you might know the truth about the attempted intruder. 

that it was him who had been trying to break into your room to scare you, so he'd have an excuse to stay by your side and play your bodyguard… your hero!

“Byakuya!”

The tall heir looked up from his breakfast, frowning deeply as you practically skipped over to him. 

“Do you want to sit at the main table with the rest of us?” You asked hopefully. He didn’t know why you asked, when the answer was obvious. He never joined the large table with the rest of the students. He had no interest in doing so.

“No, now leave me alone. You’re disrupting my meal.” Byakuya snapped, eyes narrowing in annoyance.

You nodded, unfazed by his rudeness, “Okay, Byakuya. I’ll come sit by you in a little bit.”

Byakuya sighed loudly, “Please don’t.”

Despite his insistence, it tugged on his heart a little to see you sit at the main table with all the others, laughing and smiling at all they said and did. Even that plankton, Mondo, could earn your laughter.

After spending some time chatting with them, you went to sit by Toko, who picked nervously at her nails while sending looks Byakuya’s way. Disgusting. Why you would spend your time with that creature was beyond him.

But then it was his turn, and you took a seat at his table, excitedly smiling up at him. His lips curled downwards. Why did you insist on spending time with everyone? He couldn’t understand it.

“How are you doing, Byakuya?” You asked, trying to strike up a conversation. He kept quiet, refusing to answer your asinine question.

You pouted a little, trying to figure out how to get him to talk, “I saw you in the library earlier- what were you reading?”

Silence.

You leaned back in your chair. Byakuya found satisfaction in the fact that you no longer tried to converse with him, turning instead to your cereal.

In a way, he enjoyed the silence between you both. It was a comfortable kind of quiet, not awkward or tense at all. Sometimes, he felt like he could stay like this forever, just you and him sitting together. 

But that was a stupid intrusive thought, one that he dismissed whenever it popped up. 

He would never admit, not to you or anyone, that he secretly enjoyed his time with you.

You poked your head through the library door, smiling brightly at him. 

Byakuya peered at you over his book with narrowed eyes, biting back a sigh. There you were again, disturbing him.

He felt a rush of annoyance, finally feeling himself snap, “Don’t you have anything else to do than be an annoyance, you insolent brat? Keep your nose out of my business and get lost!”

Your head snapped back as though you’d been slapped. An “oh” floated out of your mouth. Suddenly, your lip trembled and you hurried out of the room. 

Byakuya lifted an eyebrow. You had never reacted like that to his retorts before.

He couldn’t ignore the sinking feeling in his stomach.

He couldn’t bring himself to say “sorry”, he’s not sure he’s ever said that word in his life. But it broke his heart to watch you drift further and further away from him.

Maybe he’d have to show you just how much you needed his protection in this killing game.

Normal requests

Byakuya

Byakuya is not a patient man

He tries his best to remain composed

But you really get on his nerves sometimes

He buys you whatever you want, takes you wherever you want to go

At the price of never being allowed to leave his side

That’s not such a bad trade, so why do you complain about it?

You’re distant towards him, you ignore him to the best of your ability

You snap at him whenever he’s around

He wants to stay calm, he really does

But having to put up with this every day really wears him thin

When you decide to flat out ignore him, he’s had enough

He’ll pin you against a wall, his icy glare burning into you

“Why do you continue to fight me? I have everything you could possibly want or need, so why do ignore me this way? I’m all you have left, this isn’t going to get you anywhere.”

He shouldn’t have to beg for your affections

He should never have to stoop to that level

But this could go a whole different direction if you complain about your situation and act bratty towards him

Pinning you against a wall is as gentle as he gets when he snaps

But if you constantly whine and complain?

This man will straight up slap you

Once you finally shut up, he’ll lock you in a basement or a super small and dark room

He’s not letting you out until you finally decide to behave

Unlike Byakuya, he is very patient

This man worships the ground you walk on, the water you drink, the air you breathe

No matter how angry you might make him, he will never resort to physical violence

If you fight him and complain, he’ll wait until you wear yourself out

If you insult him, he lowkey loves it

But that doesn’t mean he never gets annoyed

The one thing that bothers him most is when you distance yourself from him

Yelling and insulting him didn’t work, so the only thing left to do is ignore him

After about a week of ignoring him, he’s lost his patience

Like Byakuya, he’ll pin you against the wall or floor, staring down at you with rage-filled eyes

Byakuya Togami

When byakuya first met you, he knew he had to prioritize your safety above all. A killing game is a dangerous place and you can’t just go roaming around without his supervision, mingling with the other students. Who knows who is just trying to trick you.

If you won’t listen to his orders to stay where he can keep an eye on you, where he can guarantee your safety he might just need to take matters into his own hands and restrain you in a place only he knows.

Chiaki Nanami

Chiaki is kind of similar, if you’re putting yourself in dangerous situations, avoiding her advice she gives to you but most of all she hates when you ignore her.

She knows she can be clingy a lot especially since she’s found herself so attached to you.

She just can’t help it and your avoiding her for something she can’t control.

She worked so hard to create a trusted dynamic in your group, a group to work together in the hopes that you all can escape the island.

She did it all for you but you apparently wanted no part of it.

Maybe everyone didn’t need to get off the island after all if this is how you treat her. Perhaps she has more important things to worry about first.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

Ever since Fuyuhiko took a liking to you, he grew a certain fondness over having control over you.

Nothing too harsh, little things at the start. He likes asserting that you are his even if you don’t agree.

What would make him lose his sanity, little by little is blatant disobedience and challenging him.

Pushing him away and avoiding him. Acting like he means nothing to you and you don’t need him.

You do need him. When will you realize that already?

Maybe he needs to show you just how much you actually rely on him.

Gundham Tanaka

Gundham’s Darling would of course be the spitting image of absolute perfection.

Who in their right mind would dare disrespect that perfection.

They don’t deserve you like he does.

Only he, Gundham Tanaka is capable of loving and appreciating you and all your beauty.

Kazuichi Souda

How Kazuichi would most likely snap is how most of his advances end.

Rejection.

At the beginning of his infatuation Kazuichi was utterly obsessed, always by your side. Where you went, Kazuichi followed, even if you were unaware.

Imagine how he acted with Sonia but only way worse.

He does everything for you, anything to impress you.

To prove himself in the eyes of his darling.

And after all that, all that he’s sacrificed just for you to say that you don’t reciprocate his feelings for one another.

He’s not mad, not at all.

Frustrated? Yes definitely but not mad.

Mikan would absolutely lose it over anything. Anything that even slightly pushes her buttons in regards to you and it’s one step closer to pushing Mikan off the edge of sanity.

Nagito is very very overprotective of you.

Technically you should have been with the upcoming 79th class but you were already so ahead of your curriculum you tend to float around to the remaining classes

“Y-yeah I was hoping I could show you and Miss Sonia something I’m tinkering with–”

The 77th class is always fun and they’re a lot better at giving you the space you’d like from your older sisters

Unfortunately, though the class is quite easily distracted

More used to fighting each other before working as a united front to spend time with you

But the 78th class hits home in its own special way

I am not that confident in my byakuya so i’m sorry if my characterization sucks. Enjoy!

First off, you chose the wrong yandere to have. Well, it’s not like you chose Togami but still.

If it isn’t already obvious, he is less than approving of your actions.

The fact that he fell in love with you of all people irritates him.

The ultimate heir, with a delinquent? It’s just unheard of.

Don’t get me wrong he wants you bad but, there is no way he’s going to let it be known who he’s with.

At least not until he gets you to change your way, even though he fell in love with you, you and your delinquent self, unfortunately.

This is a perfect example of a yandere who’d be the “moral good” for the most part and, he’s dead set on ending your crime streak.

But not for the reasons you’d really think. He needs to make sure that you’re out of harms way while you’re out there, he can’t sleep without knowing that you’re completely safe.

He watches and makes sure that you don’t get into too much trouble with rival gangs that would potentially harm you, or even making sure the police don’t get involved.

This would lead to him stalking you constantly, always around the corner or so watching over you and this little delinquent gang of yours.

When he actually does talk to you, he’s posting as a good-doing citizen doing the city some justice, being the moral high ground.

He’s honestly perplexed, why would you want to be around those kinds of people when there is a guy like him promising you the world, he finds he feels that way a lot.

It’s a total double standard, he hates your group for all the destruction of property and violence but for you, you’re just different.

He knows you can be reformed, and he’ll be the one to do it, he’ll convince you to change your ways to have a better life with him.

Unfortunately, being a delinquent and all, you probably don’t have much interest in rich stuck up blonde guys.

Any attempt at an interaction with you and you straight up insult him to his face.

Normally he’d be sticking his nose up at being trash talked by such people, but it’s you.

He knows the longer you hang out with them, the more you’ll be influenced and it won’t be long until the damage is irreversible.

In other words, he wants them gone.

Similar to the canon story, he’d be the kind to find a serious crime that occurred recently and find a way to connect that with your gang, not enough to have them arrested but just enough to have them in a tight spot.

Of course that would be after securing your safety.

Having his darling arrested would be so embarrassing, even if no one but him knew.

Most likely he’d devise a plan to have you “escorted” to a location where he can convince you that it’s either you stay in here or in jail with the rest of them.

Once he has you he’ll constantly hold the threat of being able to get your gang arrested at the lift of his slender finger.

And just because you used to be a delinquent don’t think that kind of behavior will slide with Togami. After all, he is after the reformation of your demeanor to become a darling fit for the ultimate heir.

Byakuya is aware. He hates his feelings and regards them as irrational, sure, but he doesn’t for a second delude himself. A part of him hates you for how you make him feel, but he still doesn’t truly deny that he has those feelings.

Byakuya does care about you, yes, but he also feels a bit of possessiveness that turns into a wish of ownership. He wants to possess you, but he also wants you to be happy.

Byakuya acts like his normal self most of the time. If you’re the type of person that doesn’t like rude people or are sensitive, he’ll hold his sharp tongue more often. He might even sneak in some compliments, even if they might slip by as snarky comments.

Does he prefer kidnapping you or does he prefer finding other methods to obtain you?

Byakuya could easily kidnap you- I mean, he has a huge staff with bodyguards and everything that could scoop you up and make you permanently disappear from society. But Byakuya would rather have a marriage contract or some way else to keep you tied to him. Romancing you is probably not going to happen.

Does he spiral out of control quickly or is he able to hold on to his humanity for a long time before he snaps?

Byakuya never truly snaps unless you fight back too hard. Otherwise, he’s just kind of systematic about it. Do this, do that until you’re all his. This is probably because he easily accepts his feelings. If you don’t fight back, he’ll probably never truly snap.

Does he resort to restraining you, threatening you, or locking down the building/room to keep you kidnapped?

While Byakuya could definitely make good on his threats, I think he’d resort to a lockdown method. After all, he could just assign a few bodyguards to you and improve the security of his mansion a little, and you’d be stuck.

How he would react to a successful or failed escape attempt.

Failed? He’ll make sure you understand just how stupid you were for even attempting such a feat. You’ll never get away from him, especially not on your own. 

Successful? He’ll be in shock. No way you, an ordinary girl, managed to escape Byakuya Togami! He’ll have his team track you down and bring you back to him and then he’ll increase security tenfold.

How easy would it be to overpower or manipulate him in order to escape?

Nearly impossible. Bykauya’s stronger than he looks and he knows martial arts, so unless you’re well-trained or very strong, you have no chance of overpowering him. Byakuya’s also very intelligent, so manipulating him is nearly impossible as well.

How long is the chain (metaphorical or not) that he keeps you on?

He lets you go out pretty much anywhere after a while, as long as you have a group of bodyguards surrounding you at all times. His rules are also very strict, so the chain feels like it's getting shorter and shorter.

What kind of rules he has and what punishments you receive for breaking them.

Byakuya has strict rules that dictate everything from what you eat and drink to where you go and what you do in a day. He will make sure they are done, even if he has to force you to do them.

How he deals with rivals and potential elimination methods.

Byakuya Togami is too good to worry about petty rivals. The only time he’d get jealous is if you’re pursuing a relationship with someone. If that happened, he’d be furious- you prefer a peasant over him?! He’d either force you into a relationship/kidnap you faster or dispose of your pathetic lover.

How easily he angers, how that anger looks, and how to calm him down.

Byakuya has a cold sort of anger- he gets quiet and his eyes darken and you feel a chill run down your spine. He’ll sometimes try to leave you alone to cool down, but other times he’ll tear into you verbally until you’re crying from his words.

How does he view you: as something to worship, to own, or just as another human being?

Byakuya definitely sees you as below him. You are not equal, since you aren’t a Togami heir, and you’re definitely not above him of all people. And yet, he often treats you like a precious heirloom.

Byakuya doesn’t care whether you reject him or return his feelings. If you do like him, that’s a pleasant surprise and will make everything much easier for the both of you. He’ll definitely become softer too.
