This $86 Million Superyacht Concept that can âFlyâ Â
From floating âdiamondsâ to roaming volcanoes, an array of eclectic and innovative superyacht concepts has been emerging in recent months, and this latest invention from Lazzarini Design Studio is no exception.
Powered by a hydrofoil system, the 74-meter-long vessel, known as Plectrum, can lift itself above the water surface and seemingly âflyâ at high speeds.
According to the team at the Italian studio, the design was largely inspired by the foiling monohulls used in the Americaâs Cup, one of the oldest international sailing yacht competitions.
Hydrofoil system
But rather than being pushed by the wind like a sailing yacht, this huge shiny orange vessel will run on three hydrogen-powered motors with the ability to reach 5,000 horsepower each.
While foiling technology dates back many years, its popularity has recently grown, particularly due to the Americaâs Cup.
However, building a hydrofoil of this size would undoubtedly be a hugely significant achievement.
Although the design is just a concept, the designers say it could be constructed within two years at a cost of around $87 million (âŹ80 million) if a buyer is found.
Eyecatching design
âWe like to remember that in 1964, shipbuilding was already capable of similar vessel construction,â the designers say in a statement.
The foil system can apparently be adjusted depending on the âcruising needsâ at the time, expanding from a width of 15 meters when the yacht is berthed/anchored and the foil is closed to up to 20 meters of beam when open while the yacht is sailing on high speed.
This âdifferent superyacht configurationâ will allow âmuch faster sea traveling than conventional similar size ships,â adds the Lazzarin team.
Made from a mixture of dry carbon fiber composite materials, the light superyacht has been âdesigned to be the fastest of its kind,â and will have the ability to reach a top speed of 75 knots.
As for onboard amenities, the yacht will be equipped with six guest cabins, a shipowner suite, a helipad and a beach club with a swimming pool over its four levels.

I Missed Ninja November...
I canât believe it wasnât until January that I realized November happened. It has been wild. Work has been fast and furious...but good. While Iâve been working on the finite state machine and brain of The Skeleton King, Iâve also been just sketching out some level design for the demo that is being built. Which feels good...and necessarily planning but I need to un-train my brain that planning and sketches arenât a waste but working smarter, not harder.
I donât necessarily know how to not work?... So even when Iâm relaxing Iâm still thinking and researching...which has led me to play Cyber Shadow. Which inadvertently has some mechanical similarities with TSK (the skeleton king) I did not realize going in. Which has been nice considering how tight Cyber Shadow feels. But really want Iâve been taken aback by how beautiful the pixel art is. Particularly the transitions and the illusion of depth and detail in the backgrounds. The colors are used soooo dang wisely. Honestly, it is a visual master class on pixel art as far as Iâm concerned. The developer Mechanical Head Studio is awesome.Â
And speaking of Ninja November...no month can contain any ninja. So Iâm sure in between game dev streams, we will have more Cyber Shadow and ninjas than we will know what to do with.

Roberto Cavalli
Italian fashion designer who used exotic animal prints, embossed leather and distressed denim to create his flamboyant clothes
As Italian fashion went global in the later 20th century, it diverged into two schools: the sensuous, soft in silhouette and touch, and the boldly sexual, flamboyant to the eye. The first, and lasting, head of the sexy school was Roberto Cavalli, who has died aged 83.
The material bases for both schools were the nationâs specialist textiles and leather firms: for Cavalli, they delivered figured and lamĂ© leathers, garments printed after sewing so that no seams interrupted a design, and many fabrics with his emphatic prints. These featured animal-skin motifs, Renaissance and Baroque brocades, or, natural-world details derived from his digital photographs.
His aesthetic was hectic, blingy, and sold across classes and cultures: those from palazzos could don it ironically, while those for whom it was streetwear appreciated Cavalliâs celebration of blatant heterosexuality.
From the late 1990s, he expanded worldwide through clothes, shoes and accessories for women, men and children to homewares, perfume, a credit card, and cafes â in his native Florence, he bought the exclusive CaffĂš Giacosa and Cavalliâed it.
He sailed the Mediterranean in his purple yacht, and was mobbed in his Manhattan store, but his emotional core locale remained Florence. His mother, Marcella, was the daughter of a painter, Giuseppe Rossi; his father, Giorgio Cavalli, a mining engineer, was shot in 1944 with 91 other civilians by German soldiers in reprisal for a partisan attack.
Postwar, Marcella scrambled by as a coal dealer, then as a dressmaker who hand painted her creations. The boyâs childhood was hard â he stuttered â but after much pleading, he studied at Florenceâs Istituto dâArte (1957-60), although never sat his final examination.
Instead, he earned money. His motherâs painted dresses inspired him to widen the idea to a mechanical process. He travelled to study Comoâs many high-end textile firms, and began to print ready-to-wear sweaters for Mariuccia Mandelli of Krizia, who shared his fancy for simulated wild-beast pelts, and then for HermĂšs. Soon he had a studio, employees, a longed-for Ferrari and enough money to impress the banker father of Silvanella Giannoni; Cavalli claimed it was to win her hand he had achieved so much this young. They married in 1964, and had two children, Tommaso and Cristina, before divorcing in 1974.
Cavalliâs breakthrough to his own clientele came in 1969, when he gatecrashed a party for the shoe designer Mario Valentino, and mentioned to him that he could print on leather. He couldnât, but the next day worked out a technique using supple glove kid, and returned with samples. Cavalli showed his new wares, sewn into garments, at the Paris Salon du PrĂȘt-Ă -Porter in 1970. People gawped, but did not buy.
What did sell was his next inspiration. At that time, only brutal wear and laundering faded, abraded and distressed denim â the big industry that would become stone- and sand-washing, bleaching and shredding denim had not been invented â and any embellishments were crude. Cavalli ordered a container of dirty worn-out jeans from a US prison, and washed, cut and patchworked the pieces with leather and printed textiles for a collection shown in the Pitti Palace in 1972. The arte povera materials had been collaged with Italian craft skill and an artistâs eye, and appealed to the well-heeled in the last phase of Boho-hippy-rock-chick chic.
Cavalli went retail with his designs through boutiques, opening the first, Limbo, in St Tropez, and built up an international following. As a high-living celebrity, and a divorcee with loud enthusiasm for beautiful women, he was a judge at the 1977 Miss Universe pageant, where he did not vote for Miss Austria, Eva DĂŒringer, 18, to win, as he wanted her for himself. After finishing her education, she followed him to Florence, where they married in 1980; she became his model, business manager, and mother of Robert, Rachele and Daniele. They divorced in 2010.
Cavalli retained close control of the manufacture of his clothes, proud of the skills used, and disapproved of licensing deals and production off-shoring in Italian fashion as it internationalised at the end of the 70s. He resented the 80s fashion preference for what he called âminimalismâ, but was more accurately a temporary supremacy for the sensuous school, exemplified by Giorgio Armaniâs unstructured tailoring for women, plus a desire to moderate overt sexiness.
The Cavalli label retained clients â rock doesnât give up on its own â yet he stopped showing his collection, and in 1993 intended to close the factory and beg union help to re-employ its workers.
He was persuaded to a comeback show at Milan Fashion Week, and attributed his triumphant second career afterwards to his inspiration to add Lycra to denim to create stretch jeans. (Not a new idea â Irene Sharaff had denim experimentally woven with Lycra for the dancersâ jeans in West Side Story, 1961.) Cavalli personally distressed a pair, printed a snake entwining a leg, and displayed them on the perfect rear of his favourite model, Naomi Campbell.
During Cavalliâs years of retreat, Gianni Versace had taken over much of the remaining custom for Italian-originated sexiness, but Versace designs, especially his prints, had a mad Roman emperor stridency never seen in the work of Cavalli, whose leopards and tigers were for cuddling and stroking, not gladiatorial combat.
Even before Versaceâs death in 1997, Cavalli was in the ascendant again, in demand on red carpets, on stage on Jennifer Lopez, BeyoncĂ©, Christina Aguilera, and on screen â a giraffe-skin print â on Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City: he opened boutiques and cafes around the world for his sex-is-fun, Latin-culture-orientated, clothes that suited the mood of excess is success. He was the first Italian designer to create a collection for H&M, a sell-out in 2007. His company closed in 2014, but was relaunched a year later, with little input from Cavalli himself.
In 2002, tax police inspected Cavalliâs extravagant house and estate outside Florence, including the purple helicopter he piloted, and charged him with evasion for claiming expenses for the property as work premises rather than a private home. Cavalli was found guilty and sentenced to 14 months jail, but a superior court annulled the verdict.
A son, called Giorgio after his father, was born to his partner, Sandra Nilsson, a model, in 2023. She and his six children survive him.
đ Roberto Cavalli, designer, born 15 November 1940; died 12 April 2024

Tonari no Delumon Delumon đ¶
It's been a few months of very little activity on my account, but don't worry, I'm fine! (well, I'd be better off on a yacht). Artistically I am immersed in a path of introspection in which I discover new things and put them to the test, I am focusing on a type of design that I love and would like to master. That means I can't spend as much time preparing Digimon designs, but I won't put it aside! I will bring new things, and if I am satisfied with these new techniques that I have told you about, I will let you know.
As for the image, the original idea was going to be about other digimon, but it had been a long time since I took a self-portrait! I do not rule out preparing that other idea later.
PS: No, I'm not thinking of setting up an anime studio, lol ;)

Unearthing the Legend: The Development Story of Shovel Knight âïžđĄïž
Hey fellow gamers and Shovel Knight enthusiasts! Today, I want to take you on a nostalgic journey back to the inception of one of the most beloved indie games of all time: Shovel Knight. Join me as we dig deep into the development process and uncover the remarkable story behind this modern-day retro masterpiece! It all began in 2013 when Yacht Club Games, a small independent game development studio, launched a Kickstarter campaign with the ambitious goal of creating a game that would capture the spirit of classic 8-bit platformers. Inspired by iconic titles like Mega Man, Castlevania, and DuckTales, the team set out to create a love letter to the golden age of gaming. The Kickstarter campaign was a resounding success, surpassing its initial funding goal within days. This outpouring of support not only provided the necessary funds for development but also ignited a passionate community eagerly awaiting the arrival of Shovel Knight. Yacht Club Games meticulously crafted every aspect of Shovel Knight, pouring their hearts and souls into the project. The game's protagonist, the titular Shovel Knight, was envisioned as a courageous knight armed with a trusty shovel, embarking on a quest to rescue his beloved Shield Knight from the clutches of the Enchantress and her Order of No Quarter. The team's attention to detail extended to the game's visuals, which were deliberately designed to emulate the limitations and charm of the 8-bit era. The pixel art style, vibrant colors, and catchy chiptune soundtrack by Jake Kaufman all contributed to the game's nostalgic appeal, transporting players back to a bygone era of gaming. One of the most remarkable aspects of Shovel Knight's development was the team's commitment to quality. Originally planned as a single-player experience, Yacht Club Games decided to delay the game's release to add a full-fledged multiplayer mode called Shovel Knight: Battle Mode. This unexpected addition showcased the studio's dedication to delivering an unforgettable gaming experience. As development progressed, the team encountered numerous challenges and obstacles. However, they persevered, fine-tuning the gameplay mechanics, level design, and boss battles to ensure a satisfying and challenging experience for players. The attention to detail and the passion poured into every aspect of the game is evident in the final product. Shovel Knight was released in June 2014 to critical acclaim, garnering praise for its tight controls, clever level design, and nostalgic charm. The game's success led to multiple expansions and spin-offs, including Plague of Shadows, Specter of Torment, and King of Cards, each offering unique perspectives and gameplay styles. Beyond its initial success, Shovel Knight has become a symbol of the indie gaming renaissance. Its triumph on Kickstarter and subsequent impact on the gaming industry have inspired countless developers to pursue their creative visions independently. The game's legacy extends far beyond its nostalgic appeal, serving as a testament to the power of passion, dedication, and the unwavering belief in one's vision. So, fellow adventurers, let's raise our shovels high in celebration of Shovel Knight and the incredible journey that brought this modern-day classic to life. It serves as a shining example of how indie games can capture the hearts of players worldwide, reminding us that even in a world of high-budget blockbusters, the spirit of old-school gaming can still reign supreme. Keep digging, keep exploring, and keep embracing the magic of Shovel Knight! âšđĄïžđȘ

The Finale
My last Bobâs Burgers bedrooms
These are the characters that I forgot about but I want to make sure they get the recognition they deserve
These are HEAVY on the headcannons guys
Like they are pretty much JUST headcannons
Some are kinda shippy
I donât usually like to get involved in shipping stuff, just because I can honestly get behind any ship if I want to lol
But these were just fun little headcannons of what I feel are kinda obvious ships
Okay maybe one of them is a guilty pleasure sue me
NOT ALL OF THESE ARE SHIP RELATED
Just to clarify
Starting off strong with Jimmy Sr.âs (And Trevâs) room!
Soooooooo
Jimmy and Trev donât LIVE together but like
They live together
Lowkey think Trev and Jimmy had an emotional affair turned physical and that is part of the reason Jimmy got divorced
The real reason Jimmy is so jealous of Bob is because Bob can be openly himself (with his sexuality, just in general, really) and Jimmy feels like he has to hide himself, kinda
That was long winded Iâm sorry guys
#jimmy and trev angst lowkey
But anyway
At first Jimmy wanted his room to be kinda like a bachelor pad
Hence the tacky bed frame
But then Trev was like no
And just forcefully moved himself in?
Idk but like canât u see it
Jimmy is totally against Trev moving in with him
But custody with the kids is already settled (50/50) and his ex wife knows about Trev so thereâs really no losing his kids atm
Jimmy has a stark white carpet to make it more bachelor pad-y
But Trev didnât really think it went with his own cottagecore vibe
So he just slapped his carpet on top
And bam, kinda boho eclectic carpet combo
Again, with the bachelor pad thing, Jimmy installed two LED purple lights on the floor
Trev thinks theyâre kinda ugly but they were EXPENSIVE so he makes due
He covers one of them up with his carpet
Can you tell whose side is whose yet?
Trev didnât get to pick the nightstand, but he makes due
It is still Jimmyâs house, after all
Trev is an occasional tea drinker before bed
He keeps his book of the month on the nightstand, just in case he has the time
It wasnât hard to convince Jimmy of the candle
âFor the ambienceâ he said to convince him
And Jimmy ate it right up
Jimmy had installed really bright white over head lights
Trev hates them (they hurt his eyes!) but again, itâs not really his room, itâs Jimmyâs
Trev still has his own apartment btw so donât go thinking that he doesnât have space to express himself
Jimmy does love Trev and if they did officially live together they would each have a say in decoration
(But Jimmy would still have more say because, well, he prefers it that way and Trev likes to keep him happy)
Itâs not the healthiest of relationships, guys
Jimmy has a dope oil painting of a ship at sea
He thinks itâs cool af
Maybe if he has a ship on his wall itâll manifest him getting his spot in the yacht club
His dresser is modern
Trev forced his way into the bottom drawer
But Jimmy still possesses half of it (for his socks)
Jimmy also has the whole of the top drawer
Thereâs a mirror above the dresser
For Jimmy to fix his hair with and for other activities if they so ensue
Anyway his hair gel is set on top of the dresser
(Trev isnât allowed to keep his personal items in sight of the kids)
And Jimmy is lowkey pale-ish so he does apply self tanner every once in a while
He also bought an expensive set of martini glasses so theyâre all his drinks out of
Donât worry, when Jimmy Jr. And Andy and Ollie are staying with him every other week they have their own designated glasses that he brought home from the restaurant
So they have age appropriate drink ware
Over all their room is a little cute? Idk
So this is for Ron and Hugo
Hugo had a relatively okay studio apartment before he moved in with Ron
Theyâre like officially together but unofficially
Not because they arenât proud but Hugo still isnât rlly out to anyone and Ron is just happy to be with him
So yeah
Anyway
So Hugo moved in with Ron
Ron rents out the back end of a small house in a middle class neighborhood
But like, lower middle class
Ron wishes he had a garden of his own but he can settle for sharing with the tenant at the front of the house
Thereâs no backyard, btw
Itâs just a small fence and a two car parking spot
The fence divides them from a diff houseâs backyard lol
Both Ron and Hugo are avid readers so they have a good assortment of books that they have each read or plan to read
Hugo is kind of a neat freak
So thereâs the cleaning spray and cloth on the shelf lol
Hugo has allergies and he KNOWS that book shelves collect a LOT of dust
Now, Hugo would never have wanted a cat or pet of any kind but Ron already had a cat before they even knew each other so he had to learn to deal with it
And secretly not so secretly he has fallen in love with Kirby
But still, Ron is more active in taking care of her
Hugo just cannot stomach it
The plants were also not Hugoâs choice
He has ALLERGIES
Ron loves gardening though and since he canât have an actual garden Hugo is happy to oblige as long as flowering plants are not kept in the house
And if you think their room is bad you should see their living area/kitchenette
Good lord someone let Ron switch sides of the house so he can garden just a little bit
Hugo is a pale dude
So he makes sure to keep sun block around him next to his bedside table
Hugo also has cold ass feet so he has an extra carpet next to his side of the bed
Also on his side, a bucket and sponge
Because Kirby can sense that Hugo isnât her biggest fan and takes revenge on him the only way she knows how
So he keeps the bucket there at all times just in case
Ron has a cat treat/toy on his side to try to keep Kirby to stay with him and not bother Hugo
It works half of the time
Ron uses lotion and even though it makes him smell kind of like an aunt he likes to be soft
And he just drinks out of a mug lol not tea not coffee just water (tap water, itâs not even cold)
And the art on the wall is Ronâs choice he thinks the paintings are cute
BTW I absolutely recognize that canonnically there is no evidence that Ron and Hugo are together. I think there is tons of evidence that Ron is gay/ has feelings for Hugo but so far there is no really good evidence to Hugo reciprocating Ronâs feelings. I just like this ship so đ
Mr. Fishoederâs room?
Ik he seems like the kinda guy to have a modern all white and sleek kind of home but based on cannon he has an old-timey kind of aesthetic
He tries to keep on theme
Mr. Fishoeder doesnât have one consistent partner so he makes sure to have wine and cigarettes at the ready
He has a walk in closet in a different room of the house, so he doesnât keep much clothing in his dresser drawers
Just towels and such
He doesnât like to flaunt his money but he does keep a not so secret stash of bills in his cupboard area
He reads maybe sometimes but not often so the books arenât worth displaying
And his cologne he hides in the cupboard as well
His papa is on top of the shelf in the urn
He doesnât want to display him somewhere where Felix can easily steal him
And Calvin finds himself to be kind of like a collector of rare and expensive items
Hence the skull
The clock is just there because it fits the aesthetic
The mirror *above* the bed for whatever you want it ti be there for
Calvin cares less about looks than Felix but he still values looking cool in front of his guests
So he does hide the fan he needs up in his room behind a curtain
The fan is ugly but he NEEDS it
It gets bloody hot up in his bedroom
He does have a flat screen TV in the shape of a vintage one
Itâs pretty cool, if you ask him
The oil paintings just fit his whole vibe
Theyâre older looking and expensive lol
I imagine that Mr. Fishoeder is an olive eating man
Theyâre a good rich person snack and they are delicious with whatever alcohol heâs having that night lmao
The phone makes him feel like a cool vintage mafia boss lol
The tall lamp to the side is just there because Calvin is admittedly getting older and needs more yet dimmer lights to see
Thatâs it, really
Itâs Felix!
He has a decently large room
And he is much more into keeping up with trends and style and such
So he has a kind of theme heâs going for
Kind of antique, but modernized
Heâs not thrilled to be living in a treehouse but heâll make due
God, he misses his apartment in NYC
But you know, heâs happy to live and be close with his brother again
He wonât admit it, but heâs missed Calvin
In fact, the painting above his bed is a specially commissioned portrait of him and Calvin as onions
From that one caricature artist that spends time on the pier
Heâs featured in a couple of episodes youâd know him if you saw him lol
The beetroot portrait is by the same guy, but this time itâs a painting of Felix and Fanny
He isnât big into art, but Felix does like those framed insect hangings
But Felix does love plants (not gardening, just plants)
He keeps potted ones around and even though he doesnât do the watering (he has people for that) he likes the way they look
the rose is for Fanny next time she comes over btw
Sheâs not there a lot because she has zero interest in living in a tree but heâs hopeful
He enjoys aroma therapy so he has those weird smelling sticks from homesense lol
And even though Calvin calls it perfume IT ISNT
Itâs cologne
Just very floral
He prefers to keep his clothing hanging in his closet (it prevents wrinkles) so the dresser is just there for looks/for his delicates
And even though heâs usually alright at putting his work out mat away he got lazy and just left his stuff on the floor
Itâs been almost two weeks
You would think that his help would have had it put away by now
(Spoiler alert, he doesnât have any âhelpâ Calvin just told him he does so he wouldnât get upset)
The potted plants are fake too, Felix just doesnât know it
He lives in a TREE there is literally not enough sunlight so sustain basically any plant life
But whatever, what Felix doesnât know wonât hurt him
Felix basically insisted that almost every room in his treehouse have a chandelier
Makes it feel more mansion-y
Those double doors are his closet lol
These are only SOME of his clothes
He does have an extra little walk-in closet for the rest of them
His casual clothes are kept in his room closet along with the clothes that wouldnât fit in the walk in
he likes scented candles and things
So scented candle on his bedside table
The bed is kinda boho chic
He likes it, kinda
The magic is in the mattress
The little couch at the end of his bed ties in with the red curtain on the other side of his room
Felix has a bit of a drinking problem
But only cocktails or vodka
Usually
And he is definitely more Braggy than his brother is when it comes to money
If youâve got it, flaunt it, ya know?
Teddy is our last guy!
He might be a hoarder but thereâs really not a lot that he keeps in his room
He keeps snacks in his night stand
And donât tell Linda but he knows her hands are soft af so he started buying the same brand of lotion as her lol
He drinks coffee 24/7
Itâs the only thing keeping him sane at this point
The lamp just suits him
Also I think technically there would be a window above his bed but I digress
He kinda bought into that holistic crystal stuff
So thatâs next to his bed now
And he did used to have a cat, but she died and then he got Francis
He has a lil Kitty shrine on the shelf there
He doesnât see a point in having art hanging around in his room
But I think ideally tho he would like to have a framed pic of him and the belchers lmao
He has a book thatâs like electricity for dummies
Idk just makes sense
He has random building supplies on his shelf lol
And Teddy LOVES 80s music!
He listens to it every morning while getting ready
He doesnât rlly take care of his room the way he does the rest of the house
So the pain is cracked and chipped
But you know, he loves his little room and his therapist says that itâs good for him to have an outlet where he doesnât have to focus on fixing everything

Redfern & Sons
Redfern Father and son of the Redfern family are both famous high-end tailors and designers. Father and son are named John Redfern. Their high-end clothing business started in Cowes, a small British port town.In 1811, his father founded the Redford tailor shop. In 1881, his son opened high-end fashion houses in London and Paris, and then in 1884-85 opened two stores in New York, one for tailoring and the other for sewing fur.
In the 1870s, Redfern yacht suits and skirts quickly became the most fashionable clothing model in the UK. Thus, the Redfern brand, in fact, became the first high-end sportswear brand in history.
By the early 1890s, thanks to the sponsorship of the British and European royal families, the Parisian Redford fashion house had turned into a well-developed high-end clothing studio. Since 1892, when Redford's sons took control of the business, the fashion house became Redfern Co., Ltd.
However, the Redford branch in New York is not very successful. This is not a high-end fashion house, but only imports and distributes the goods of the Paris fashion house.
In 1871, Redford expanded his clothing business to include the design and sale of clothing such as silk dresses that were tailored specifically for women who rode bicycles, played tennis, and traveled on cruise liners. These are the characteristic features of Redford. Despite the fact that these are sportswear, these tailored clothes are increasingly being worn by influential customers as casual wear.
In 1888, Redfern was officially named Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Costume Designer of the Princess of Wales.

@briebarlowâ | Late Evening at the Santa Monica Pier, April 8th (tw: drug use mention)
He jumps right into the deep end of the L.A. social scene, without so much as a breath or moment of pause. Itâs unwise, given just how tentative his newfound peace is. But Elliott likes to to believe himself stronger now, than before. The whirlwind of work, play, and social pressure that a music festival carried (especially for the illustrious head producer at Maroon Sound Studios) wouldâve been a powder keg of temptation. In fact, in years past, he had distinct memories of leaving the event in a euphoric haze. But heâs kept his wits about him so far, waving off credit-card lined powder from his contingent of artists. He jumps into the work, and manages to minimize the amount of run-ins (most, if not all, on camp âBrie Barlowâ).Â
He can weather the rainfall of criticism and curiosity from friends, family, and acquaintances like. But not before he talks to Brie. Somehow, getting started on putting his life back together has to start with her. As with everything in his life, it always started with her.
There was a time when that was a comfort, rather than a burden.
His wife is equal parts fearless and fierce. A combination that made certain Elliott was always at armâs length. Whatever attempt was made; at their old house, at her office, or at her sisterâs house, was quickly dismantled. All without putting a hair out of place or a scuff on Brieâs designer pumps. Yet he knows her, still. He knows the temptation that lays at the ferris wheel, on a perfect Spring night eclipsed in bright light. He remembers how sheâd gravitate to it, even before they had gone steady, and well into their marriage.Â
Itâs a matter of time, and he slips the conductor a thousand bucks (old pocket change for all cash expenses to feed his habit, not used for something good). Waiting in the wings, well out of sight, he waits until Brie is the last to get into a carriage. No companions for her, as per Elliottâs instruction. Itâs not until the conductor passes him a nod, that Elliott walks fast-footed. A jump into the carriage, and a quick clip of the safety lock. Before she can utter a word, the carriage rocks, and the wheel turns.
âIt was this, or rushing you onto a yacht. And I donât think weâre at criminal offenses yet.â Though if looks could kill, perhaps they were there already.
