Sanson house living room
I tried to stick to historical accuracy on this one, and even send it to my previous professor. Overall, I really like the look of it. Ignore the shadows on the front, this means we would have two characters interacting with these chairs.

Yes, it is very grey, because that what's the documentation told me to do, and it would become part of a Valentine's day scene, in Paris...So the weather would likely be quite overcast.
If you desire a comission, I would charge about 7USD for something like that, with perhaps a small extra 2USD fee for the floor tiles, because they take forever to draw.

“You must not wish for your return to France; you would have to march over a hundred thousand corpses. Sacrifice your interest to the peace and happiness of France. History will recognize it. I am not insensitive to the misfortunes of your family... I will gladly contribute to the sweetness and tranquility of your retirement.”
— Napoleon Bonaparte in a letter to the Count of Provence (future Louis XVIII of France)
Date: 7 September 1800

il y a des tas de détails intéressants dans cette biographie, mais je dois avouer que 6 mois plus tard je pense encore surtout à cette scène où on a un peu l'impression que le régent de France gère une classe de maternelle.

Authentic XVIII Century printed north coast of Brittany map between Cancale and Frehel Cap with Saint Malo Corsairs Harbour on the British Channel
What is funny is that the map is seaside and not a view from the coast towards the Channel , and so made for sailors of this time !!!
All the churches, Windmills, castles,…. are shown to be seen from the ship

Frances Villiers, Countess of Jersey (née Twysden; 25 February 1753 – 23 July 1821) was a British Lady of the Bedchamber, one of the more notorious of the many mistresses of King George IV when he was Prince of Wales, "a scintillating society woman, a heady mix of charm, beauty, and sarcasm".

14 & 29 for the Room Questionnaire :3
HELLO <3 thanks for asking dear ;u;
Rook Questionnaire
14: What hobbies does your Rook have?
Already replied here
Adding also that he wants to be included in his friends' lives so he tries to catch up with whatever they like to do in their free time. He's happy to learn / teach new things if they involve hanging with his favorite people, basically <3
29: If you could choose a different faction for your Rook, which one would they have joined and why?
So, originally I wanted to choose Grey Wardens for my first pt (I'm a Wardens girlie, I love them so much), but it doesn't really make sense for him. I think he'd fit best with Veil Jumpers instead? There are many instances of Veil fractures in Arlathan and he'd have the time of his life investigating and trying to reason with rude spirits / help the kind ones u-u
...he would fit with the Shadow Dragons too, but there's a lot to unpack about his political views + disgust towards aristocracy. Like, those would lead him to distrust many of the founders and members of his faction and I don't think I have enough mental energy to build such a scenario in my head lol

Chad Revolutionary Emperor / Virgin Restoration King
"On waking up, Cosette had run to get her shoe. In it she had found the gold piece. It was not a Napoleon; it was one of those perfectly new twenty-franc pieces of the Restoration, on whose effigy the little Prussian queue had replaced the laurel wreath."
