Boots scraped against the surface of the floor. Another child, eh? Xehanort's form kept calm as Xenmas guided him towards Marxiia's room, his hands kept behind his back. Once the two got to Marxiia's door, Xehanort slid in to knock the door himself.

"Master,'' Xenmas spoke up, placing a hand over his chest. "Am I excused?"

''If you wish to be. Though, he may want you around, now that you're back in one piece," Xehanort replied, after a moment of thought. His hand finally unfroze, and he knocked on the surface of the door. He cracked open the door, poking his head in.

"Marxiia, correct?'' he spoke, his gravel tone sounding quite different to what the boy had been used to in Xenmas.

Ansem was actually Xenmas, who was also Xehanort, though not to be confused with Ansem, who was banished into Nothingness by his apprentices where he chose to become DiZ (Darkness in Zero), choosing to become darkness into Nothingness rather than darkness into Darkness (it's not important), and Xehanort, in order to allow himself to time travel had to establish his self throughout the ages, had to seperate the Hearts of compatible disciples leaving behind their Heartless (which would strengthen Kingdom Hearts) and their Nobodies who he could copy his essence into ensuring his path into the future to time travel to.... wait... Okay, so Sora....

This guy is the best friend of Xion and Roxas, big-brother-type of person. He introduced Roxas to sea-salt ice cream, who in turn introduced Xion to it, and eventually they became a trio of friends who looked out for each other and hung out together, especially to gaze at the sunset from their favorite spot in Twilight Town. Axel looked out for both of them, and protected them. Xion had limited memories when she first arrived on Denny, but now she's forgotten everything. Again, those who are part of your heart can't truly be forgotten..right?

From what Xenmas had read in the parenting books, it had seemed like the adult had to soothe the child in times of worry.

''Xenmas is quite aware of Leadership change. In fact, we share each other's ... existence, so to speak. He is my Nobody - a Nobody like you and some of the others are within this newly branded version of the Organization.'' A smirk landed on his face. ".. Another thing. Xenmas may have been lax about dishing out punishment - but I am not above such a thing. That darkness you've just witnessed? I can make it burn like fire through your body."

maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to err on the side of CAUTION, yanno? the thought crosses axel's mind -- no use getting himself killed over a joke, even if it was, in his opinion, a GOOD one. the man in front of him REEKS of darkness. it's in the air, in his words -- in his heart.
