it's never mattered how drastically far apart they are in age; the noble sisters have always been thick as thieves. from the time the younger of the two, julianna "jules" noble, was born, they've been completely inseparable. best friends, they always say, from womb to tomb. that's why, when donna disappears mere moments before her wedding, jules knows that something is very wrong. she wouldn't just leave, certainly not without saying anything to her little sister. in her wake, jules is left to pick up the pieces of her abandoned wedding, awkwardly thanking guests for coming and begging them to remain seated. when donna does return, calling the wedding off and locking herself away, jules demands answers. why'd she call the wedding off? why would she run? why would she leave jules to fend for herself when she never has before? after much pressing and pestering (as little sisters are often best at), she tells jules about a madman and a blue box. jules is immediately enraptured - she already often hangs on to her older sister's every word, but the tale of aliens and the space-time continuum completely enrapture her. and when donna sets out to find the doctor once again, jules follows in her footsteps. as she always has.

some are born great. some achieve greatness. but for the past 16 years, estelle has had greatness thrust upon her. from the time she could speak, she could sing; from the time she could sing, her parents were scrambling to get her signed to a record label. however, childhood fame does to estelle what it does to all children - it ruins her. when a huge scandal strikes, one that could easily end her career, her parents enforce an 'intervention' and send her to live with her grandparents in lima, ohio. whether this is a punishment or a well-deserved break, estelle can't be sure. but she does know one thing - nothing can save her from this miserable existence. (well. except maybe a cute nerd she meets on the first day of school.)

gage and her best friend randy have always had a lot in common. their love of scary movies; their shitty senses of humor; and their need to follow around sydney prescott like lost puppy dogs. so you can add 'taste in girls' to that list, too. it's not like she can help it. sydney's only the smartest, coolest girl in school, and though gage is a total loser, sydney's also been really nice to her. but randy's been in love with her, like, their whole lives, and besides, she's dating that asshole billy loomis anyway, so there's no point. gage, for one, is determined to take this crush to her grave. little does she know, that possibility may occur sooner than expected; though her biggest concerns should be her gay panic and tomorrow's math test, someone has other ideas. someone who starts picking her friends off one by one.

living in forks, washington your whole life leads you to get a little creative. you have to, or else there's a very real possibility you might die of boredom. this is what isla always told people when asked why she is the way she is. sure, maybe she's a little... strange, even by forks standards. maybe her favorite book is the big book of cryptids she has tucked under her pillow. maybe she's always searching la push for signs of their very own loch ness, and yeah, maybe she's skipped school to scour the woods for fairy rings. but can you blame her for wanting things to be a little more exciting around here? though she will say - when her cousin bella moves back to forks, everything turns upside down. maybe even a little more than isla bargained for.

STOP IT!! STOP. IT. STOP vilifying abuse victims, i cant fucking take it anymore. stop making them the bad guys. stop making everyone hate them. when i see that shit all i see is a writing/directing crew that is too ignorant to understand the complexities of trauma and the abused brain.

when you vilify a victim character youre teaching EVERYONE WATCHING that vilifying those you dont understand - or those who are so abused that they dont yet understand nonabusive society -that the victims are the bad guys. victims are TRYING THEIR BEST to adapt AND recover.
