I love my family. I do. We definitely do not see remotely eye-to-eye on the political spectrum whatsoever, though.

And I am not saying that the Democrats are the perfect answer to all of life's problems, either. Believe me. There are so many things that this country could benefit from if it was not strictly two-party, if the DNC/RNC didn't run everything like they do, but that's the hand we're dealt right not.

Talofa everyone! I am going to share with you guys about the ideas of the Warriors Task Force's enemies. Which is the Cartels in the Pacific. So down there will explain everything of what I have in mind about the connection from the WTF and the Cartels! So...ENJOY!

Main Islands for the Human and Drug Trafficking:

As you can see, most of the main islands had most of the connection all over Oceania. There are three different divisions there. Which is Micronesia, Melanesia and Polynesia. They have a boss from one of those islands in each of those divisions who is in charge of these businesses. I will show the list down below to show which of the main islands are from that division. I will even show which islands are in charge.

There you have it folks! But just to be clear that I would like to focus on the Polynesia side. The story for my OCs are basically only about Polynesia. With some other islands that are not Polynesia area too. So to discuss further about the islands. These three main islands for the Polynesia Division. They are the ones who did most of the trafficking in their area. And the one that is in charge is New Zealand. For they do have a better economy than Hawaii and Easter Island. Which means the better the economy is, the better business that they’ll have.

Anyway, these three islands have their own Organization business with different names. Naming after their Mythical Creatures from their culture. Here are the names that they have provided. And I also added which other countries that they have partnerships with too!

New Zealand - Taniwha Organization

The Taniwha Organization are the ones who deal with shipping from one place to another. Both Human and Drug Trafficking. Secretly having illegal things into their ship. And that ship is bought by the boss who runs this business. A ship for each of the main Islands in order to keep their business going. They are also partnering up with Australia for any shipment they asked for. They are the one in charge to make sure that the business runs smoothly. If they see something was wrong. They will deal with the problem.

Hawaii - Nanaue Organization

Nanaue Organization are the ones dealing Human, Drug and Illegal Weapon Trafficking. They are also connected to the States AND Mexico. Because of them being close to those two areas. They are even connected with other islands. Like, Samoa and Tonga who are connected with Fiji. This Organization also has a little secret fun event which is an Underground Fights Arena. More money and fun to bet on someone.

Easter Island - Tangata Manu Organization

The Tangata Manu Organization also deals with Human and Drug Trafficking. They partner up with Brazil since they are close to them. They are a very well known business that has a drug to make some people look younger. It has very serious side effects though which most people are not aware of or don't even care about. So that’s why they use some people they have smuggled with and test the drugs onto them.

So yeah, those are the islands that they have good business with. They are the hometown for American Cartels now. There are even outlaw motorcycle gangs from Australia and New Zealand. So I think I’ll add that one later on. So that would be another reason why the Warriors Task Force are made! Although, there are OTHER WTF groups in the other two areas! Thinking that Micronesia AND Melanesia have the WTF in their area too! Just to help out to stop the expansion of the other cartels around the Pacific!

All thanks to Kanoa’s ideas of creating this Task Force and helping the other islanders around the Pacific. Him and his team had inspired many as they let them create their own Task Force that will be named Warriors Task Force as well. The team had done their best to protect their home from preventing Trafficking into their home.

That I know of, there aren't any death scenes that look anything like how he described the wendigo will kill you all slow and skin you and stuff while he was trying to get Chris to come back to the lodge. That means he likely made that up to scare Chris into coming back inside (if I'm wrong and there is a death scene like that that I just haven't found, idk, throw rocks at me)

He says they only hunt at night, but doesn't know why. They could just go back to normal like a werewolf or regain their human senses for a bit, because he said they only hunt at night, and a lot of their hunting is down in the mines where sunlight isn't even a factor, so it's not sunlight that bugs them. Maybe they just all just chill out during the day and play twister.(I just know they'd be good at twister)

Edit: wtf happens if someone who cannibalized AT SOME POINT, but not on the mountain, comes up to the mountain later? Will they just instantly start changing, or can the spirit not do anything in that case?

Double edit: what if you manage to take a wendigo OFF the mountain. Will the spirit follow and it'll stay the same. Would it change back, or just regain its human mind but stay all thin and creepy? Would it die? Would it lose its power? If it did stay the same, would that allow ALL the seperate spirits to leave the mountain and then no one can eat people anywhere?

I'm going to reblog this sometime in August, but I need American College Freshmen to know this:

*cups your face gently* Do Not Take 5-6 classes for your first college semester. This is Not high school. Classes are counted differently here.

Each class has a specified number of units. Most classes are 3 units, some electives are 1 unit, and some classes with a required lab component are 4-5 units, depending on the college and the class itself. If it helps, think of those units like intensity levels.

In college, a full load is 12 units. Twelve. Let me break it down a bit.

A full load means that college should be on-par, time and effort-wise, as a full-time job. That's probably why some of the higher tiers of financial aid require full load; these guys have very little time for extra income to help them get through. A full load can be tough, and you should only go above it if you are absolutely determined to make it through in as few semesters as possible and if you are willing to sacrifice the extra time, mental work, and emotional stamina to get there. A full load should allow students to also participate in extracurriculars, but it is still tough, and you should not go above full load if you are in a sport or a club. No, it's not extra padding "in case you fail a class." No, it's not a security blanket or something to lean on. It is a disaster waiting to happen. You will burn out.

12 units means that the number of units for all classes in one semester should add up to 12. Here are some examples:

Let's say I take a science with a lab like biology (4 units), a mathematics course (3 units), a choir course (1 unit), an intro to college course (1 unit), and a speech class (3 units). 4+3+1+1+3=12 That's 5 classes to get 12 units, but that's because I took two 1 unit courses.

Let's say I take an introduction to art class (3 units), a government class (3 units), an English class (3 units), and a mathematics class (3 units). 3+3+3+3=12 That's 4 classes for 12 units, and that's more common.

Summer course loads are smaller, I believe, so check with your college if you wanted to try taking a summer course to try and get used to the type of work college will be expecting of you. A warning, though: summer classes are really fast and can be hard. I dropped my first one, and there is No Shame in it. It helped me figure out the culture difference between high school and college Real Quick.

Why am I saying all of this? Because I am seeing this pattern in the freshmen that I have in my classes. The ones I have to drop are the ones with 5, 6, 7 classes all at once (a lot of times even while playing a sport! wtf????), and in spreading themselves thin across those classes AND a sport as well, they are failing at everything, including their own health. Guys, I am a teacher, not a torture dungeon master. I want you guys to get your degree and thrive, and you cannot do that if you are working yourself to death.

For my college freshmen just coming out of high school, not knowing any better, still used to having to take 6 classes every year of high school and thinking 6 is gonna be typical or 5 will be a load off, it is not what you think. Please, I am begging you. Look at your load and lighten it if necessary. As you get the hang of college, maybe you can add more on, and maybe you can rub it in my face of "nyeh-nyeh, you were wrong!" Sure, go for it afterwards! But I'm begging you to not burn yourself out.

First semester. 12 units only if you want a full load. Test yourself first with this type of load. Do your best, but don't burn out.

I did something I shouldn't have and now it's haunting me.

I've got a very close friend I've known for years. We got through so many hardships because of each other. We are each other's support system. We love each other. We share so many things. Our school, personal life, experiences, etc. But we have one hard rule. We would not try to find each other's tumblr accounts.

I fucked up. After years, I was simply too fucking curious and went through the reblogs of a person they followed to find their account. And I found them. I really do wish I didn't.

I still can't believe it while writing this but they are a hardcore anti. 'Kill yourselves proshitters' kind of anti (srs thats what they wrote).

I want to cry. It wouldn't have bothered me if they just wrote 'incest and underage bad dni' cause that's just boundaries. But fucking death threats. Bitch we ain't even American why are you so obsessed with 'the q slur'! Why are you threatening people's lives!? Why don't you THINK before posting something! Would YOUR MOTHER be happy you were threatening people online? You are not like this in real life wtf is this bullshit!?

i finished the umbrella academy s4. i am not amused. here are my thoughts (looong post incoming)

1. i don’t remember diego being so fucking annoying. actually that’s a lie he’s always been annoying but since he was hot i let it slide but now that he’s not treating lila right (how do u fumble a baddie THAT HARD) i think he should participate in the shut the fuck up challenge

2. “their uncle will pick them up” HUH? like obviously this timeline is different but you’re telling me lila has uncles (and parents! or someone! she was talking to some elderly couple before the party!). what does that mean for the others… were their mothers still killed in this timeline or did klaus live out his little amish dream, even if he wasn’t around to experience it? ykwim? like did they show up to this timeline and someone was like “omg where did u wander off to? i was looking all over for u!” and then it turns out it’s their sibling/uncle/whatever in that timeline and they just have to be like ah yes. i surely do know who u are

3. what they did to lila and diego was criminal!!! “she said she couldn’t get pregnant while breast feeding. but she could” dramatic ass reveal for no fucking reason. like get over yourself diego

25. i did NOT expect them to actually drag out lila and five’s love story. other than the age gap (no matter how ur looking at it) you already knew it was gonna be bad as soon as they had their first kiss. i hate those multiple little open mouthed kisses that are literally just ALL lip and spit like that’s fucking gross if ur gonna stick ur tongue in my mouth u better do it by the third little :O we got going on there. and then five was giving boy. like literal boy. and lila is a literal goddess but a goddess that’s well into her 20s and the contrast was so sharp it rlly was giving mom and her caucasian child. i mean that bit about lila viewing it as survival vs five actually clinging onto it showed their different levels of maturity, but since it’s never specified if five is still a 50 year old man or just aging normally, his reaction rlly was such a teenage boy thing. “i’m gonna kill him” man shut the fuck up

26. ok no bc we need to talk about this. i think fives actor is my age—maybe even a little bit older—but i don’t see how anyone over the age of 18 is supposed to find him attractive. like idk it’s weird in the show but even creepier irl cos lila’s actor had to have known him when he was still a minor. why did anyone at the umbrella academy think we wanted this

27. anyway not to make this about myself but when i was writing the odesta longfic there were a lot of lore inconsistencies as we kept going bc i forgot some of the details and was too lazy to go back and read it sometimes, and i think that’s what happened this season. the most notable detail is when klaus covered his ears while everyone was shooting at each other. i was expecting some sort of vietnam flashback but like no. he was just there being normal about it, all things considered

28. “ex-squeeze me?” it wasn’t funny when klaus said it in s1. and it wasn’t funny here

29. alright i think that’s really all i wanted to say about the season tbh… like idk diego and lila starting a family made sense i guess and i know they were falling out of love (even tho they would never do that…) but i didn’t rlly feel any of the love w the kids. like even when lila stepped off the train at the last min and her daughter was banging at the glass it looked more like she was like “oh no :(“ and then just started poking at the glass. i don’t even think it matters that she didn’t fully know what was going on—if you’re a child and ur mom steps away in an unfamiliar situation, you’re gonna start to freak. especially w everything else that was going on

31. now let’s get into the ending. this is how i would fix it:

we can keep jennifer. whatever. that thing they added at the very last second about her having a particle that causes the end of the world was… whatever. like i get it. they needed a way to explain the end of the world and that was the thing they used and even if it was very late to introduce such a (admittedly confusing) bombshell, at least it fits in with what we already know about this universe’s rules. magic and particles and marigold and whatever. jennifer is fine.

tbh when jennifer started feeling sick i was honestly thinking that they were gonna go the surprise pregnancy route even though they weren’t even fuckinf hinting at that i just have no media literacy. i wouldn’t have minded that tbh, like the monster transformation made more sense but imagine if we did a twilight ripoff for a second, except that jennifer and ben were both equally protective of the killer baby growing outside of jennifer’s womb (or in her womb… whatever. point is there’s a baby). i don’t think this is a good idea—if anything i think this is a shit idea. but something that’s always been so prominent in tua are the moral implications of what they’re doing, like with everyone wanting to kill harlan in s3 instead of letting the entire world die, and with everything that happened with viktor in s1. there was the whole “i can’t kill my brother” bit, sure, but everyone kinda didn’t rlly seem too enthusiastic about it.

actually the baby addition is actually a shit idea. i’m just keeping that part of the rant in bc we need SOME sort of moral dilemma that isn’t just viktor arguing w hargreeves and then his siblings dropping in later with opinions that don’t even seem that strong. everyone needs to have a strong opinion on SOME sort of moral issue that we wanna introduce—that, in a perfect world, we’d be building up to throughout the season—and then yeah whatever there can be an epic fight scene

i don’t watch/read a lot of time travel stuff, but from what i gathered, the timeline can never be restored once it’s fucked with. there has to be consequences, like with any story. and tua did address that—they tried restoring the timeline thousands of times—but i think they shot themselves in the foot there. time travel with a (somewhat) happy ending is possible—there just has to be something to lose, and it has to be something that isn’t nonnegotiable. claire was nonnegotiable, which is why i think they stayed in s3’s timeline for as long as they did

point is, i think they should have gone back to 2019. i mean i don’t think anyone really wanted them to die. i made a joke in s3’s rant that i would just give up, but lucky for me, i am not a fictional character in tua, so the fact they just die in the last five mins and we’re supposed to be ok w that makes the last three seasons pointless. like, actually pointless. what was the message here? why is the ending of the show painted as some sort of utopia just bc we got rid of the siblings? and why is five okay with that? i think him being on board w dying could have been an interesting route to take if they showed his relationship w his siblings consistently deteriorating (both on screen AND off screen) but they only rlly managed to do that with diego, and it was for something fucking stupid

ANYWAY. bring those fools back to 2019, but don’t make them totally happy. just give them something that makes them all just stay put, like how allison has claire (doesn’t matter which timeline. it could be from the fucked up timeline. i don’t think the cleanse would happen bc of that bc claire is only one person and not an entire fucking organization like tua or an assassination like jfk. so hell. might as well throw harlan and sissy in there for viktor. that makes lila and diego’s motivation really easy for staying put, cos then they have their kids. klaus is klaus and no offense to him but i think hes just gonna roll w the cards he’s dealt without trying to fight back, for better or for worse. then ben can have jennifer and since they love each other idk they just stick around. then five’s motivation for staying is that his family is alive and none of them want to leave and that’s good enough for him bc that’s why he time traveled in the first place

again… i don’t think what i came up with is any good. i just think it’s better than them all dying at the last fuckin second. i think this show relied on a lot of haha random xd humor at the beginning and they tried to keep that intact here but everything got so serious that i think them all dying rlly did seem like the only way out but.. it’s not. they could go back to the way things are as long as there were consequences. it would suck, and none of them would be as happy as they could be, but they know that’s as happy as they’re gonna get, so whatever. like, if we were gonna take the suicide route, we might as well gone the time loop route and gone back from the very beginning when five blinks back to 2019. i think that rly would have driven home the “this all would have happened anyway” point way better than them just being like guess ill die :) bc ughhh. no they wouldn’t. also they wouldn’t let lila leave bc she still had marigold in her but… what about her and diego’s kids?? they’re half marigold, and claire is a quarter, so… what’s up with that?

Undertale.exe: so I looked at Camilla Cuevas being an awful person. Then i looked at the beautiful anime that is @jakei95's underverse... then i smushed it all toghether to basically create the perfect AU. Frisk is a pansexual fuccboi that Has Game, Chara is THICC and powerful, Betty is built like a ballerina and is 1000 years old, and Asriel is a Streemur. All of them live in this house far away from the city thats literally a larger version of sans' house. All charachters can legally drink (prepare for Drunk Chara shenanigans where its Betty Glitchtale the drunk one instead) and the only one who (probably) isnt gay is Asriel (even though frisk covets the Dreemur Dong) (one day soldier, one day...). Many chatachters from many AUs sometimes come to visit cause, you know. Its a nice place.

Curseworld: massive writing project of mine which is just "adventure time shaped mass of autism". The world is cursed and fucked over, and everything is colorful. Its also part Owl House because fuck you the magic system is FUCKED here.

Warhammer 50k: listen. This is just me looking at games workshop and fucking emperors tts and going "fuck that. Heres mine". On the day of the election, my For You Page on TikTok was full of people telling me to hold on, that this was just the "red mirage," that the "blue shift" was going to happen, and that we shouldn’t worry, that everything was going to work out. There was this collective hope that, even though the numbers looked bad, things would turn around. It was like everyone was clinging to that sliver of hope, that one last thing we could hold onto before it was all too real. I remember watching those TikToks and thinking, Okay, maybe this is just the calm before the storm. Maybe it’s not over yet.

But as I watched the numbers trickle in, my gut dropped lower and lower. The “blue shift” never came. The red mirage stayed, and it was no longer a mirage—it was reality. Trump had won. Again. 

The day after the election, I went back to TikTok, thinking maybe I could find some sort of comfort, some silver lining, something to make sense of it all. But instead, my FYP was full of shock, anger, and fear. The posts were filled with raw emotion—raw, real, unfiltered emotions—and all I could do was scroll, trying to process the same feelings that were pouring out of the people I follow.

But here’s the thing: I saw these TikToks on the day after the election, maybe the day after that, but today? Today, when I scroll through my FYP? They’re gone. Completely gone. Not just the posts from people grieving or processing—everything related to the election. All of it. Gone. It’s like they’ve been erased. Censored. Maybe it’s a coincidence. Maybe it’s not. But all I know is that in the span of just a few days, the conversations about the election, the fears, the raw emotions, have been wiped from the face of the app. Maybe it’s just me being paranoid, but something about it feels… off.

I can’t stop thinking about those TikToks. 

Watching everything slip away, one vote at a time. Watching people choose a man who represents everything that’s wrong with this country—racism, misogyny, cruelty—and somehow, he still wins. It doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t seem fair. And yet here we are.

The part that stings the most is how she lost. Kamala Harris, someone who gave me hope—who I thought represented something different—lost. 

I’m sad for all the women, the queer people, the marginalized communities who will suffer more because of this. I’m sad because it feels like we’re trapped in this loop where nothing changes, and the people who need help the most are always the ones left behind.

I guess this is the hardest part: realizing that the world doesn’t stop turning just because I’m grieving.

hi miss L, i have a spiritual/religious question and i don't know anyone else who could answer it.... since i was a kid i've been attracted to tarot, spirituality, mystical explanations of the worlds workings, astrology, all that good stuff. i never used to connect my spirituality to a single higher power, and i never had any issues with this. for a few years i've been wanting more than just a disturbingly accurate tarot spread and i feel compelled towards god. i'm not sure how to word it honestly! i keep getting messages all around me telling me the saint that watches over me, and that god is there too. so here's my issue.

whenever i reach out and pray or do any kind of ritual or reach out specifically to god or a saint, my life immediately starts going haywire. yesterday i set up a small shrine in my room for my dead kitty since i've been feeling better about her passing and i prayed a little. i asked for sign that i was going in the right direction, and hours after i prayed, our sink plumbing got clogged, my cat (living) ran out and had to be caught, my mom dropped a whole bowl of food, and i wasn't able to pick up groceries bc the bank cards wouldnt work. this never happens in my household, we've been joking that we're cursed. this happens everytime i try to reach out to god. the worst time was when my mom lost her job, dad crashed his car, and i kept having panic attacks out of the blue for a week. i freaked out and took everything i said back and bathed in salt water for hours hoping i could cleanse whatever happened to me. it worked and my life was back to normal the next day.

do you have any advice? i would love to put my trust in a higher power as i've never been religious before, but smthn is going wrong somehow.

i relate to ur background cus i grew up w no religion, my parents didnt talk about any kind of woo-woo stuff, my dads dad was woo-woo AF and my dad haaaaated it so he rejected all of it so i was pree much just a blank slate. but for some reason i was just REALLY obsessed w magical thinking and the like. believed in god spirits nature deities angels demons magic aliens and i was totaly engrossed in ~my secret world~. i was kinda scared of religion tho i viewed it in a bad light since i was learning about it during the george bush post-9/11 era & for some reason my child self was rly interested in consuming critique of america , iraq war / westboro baptist church type stuff , from an outsider's perspective i saw religion as something american people used as justification for committing atrocities & crazy power trips , which, i mean.. anyways

it didnt help me trust God xD but many of my beliefs remained into my teens i just didnt have any outlet for them. so i got into astrology around 15/16, started learning more about tarot & occultish type things, crytstals, all those subjects intrigued me very much. but i felt the same way as you, like, something was still lacking from it, even when i got these super profound tarot readings, or read my birth chart a million times over looking for clues about ~wtf is this stupid life for~ , i never felt safe. never felt assured, never felt i could trust myself or my future. it was an odd period, early 20s. but then kinda same as u, as my knowledge on these topics expanded i started to notice the quality of Holiness a lot more. the more i learned about different religions the more i realized how connected it all was, and how religion connects to "the occult", and magic, light and dark, i find it very hard to put into words. i just started to find myself actually really earnestly believing in God in a way i never thought i could? Like reading the bible & being completely enthralled, i NEVER woulda thought. i started to feel way safer in the world even tho im still not "christian" technicaly. but i believe in jesus now and it makes me feel safe on a cellular level.

i believe the real jesus was wholly non judgemental and loved everyone no matter what, the thing that susses me out about Religious Institutions was always the judgement that can spawn from it. misses the point of everrything in my opinion.

its kinda wild actually cus when i used to be into like, trash reality tv ghost hunting shows, i remember there was one ep where this psychic was talking about how she always prays to jesus for protection before doing a reading or entering a haunted place. that really intrigued me cus i thought jesus and psychic automatically cancelled each other out. i think that moment rly opened up the rabbitehole and it was so mundane like wtf. still rememebr it tho!

sorry im really in a typing mood tonight.. So my next point was gonna be that, just because i started to really believe in god and jesus and really PRAY for protection & guidance, my life did not get easier xD like i would say the past 6 years have been nothing short of a shit show. my life was fucked before that too tho so its hard to compare, but still, its safe to say my shift in perspective actually brought a lot of chaos into mylife. the point of it, i feel, is that i had to dismantle it in order to truly Live in the frequency of trusting God. because this was new to me! i wanted to trust God, i put out the energy of seeking God, and God was like ok hold on tight..

So now i'm here all these years later like, oh yeah God is real and i love him and it's all real. it's CEMENTED into me lol. When i used to say i trust God it still felt like i was asking permission to be able to feel that way. but now i really really do. And messed up stuff will keep happening forever because there needs to be light & dark, there can't b one without the other. But now i have faith in a really personal way that i wld never attempt to transfer onto another like even by talking about these experiences & concepts i still feel like i don't want to prove anything. except that it's worth it to keep trying, i guess :]

and OK this is really just how i feel like take it with a grain of salt , but from what i've gathered, if you believe in energy entities & astral happenings & whatnot, well. it's my opinion that the invisible low frequency parasites that feed on many ppl's dread & fear, when they're attached to u and u begin to raise your vibration, they get very upset and throw a fit. like think of a demon being exorcised, u know, u imagine it having a total fit in a desperate fight for it's life. if ur appeasing the demon and letting it use you then of course it's going to keep things on an even keel, u kno?

taking a salt bath was a good thing to do tho like one of the best things <3 its also good to have crosses or your holy item of choice around the house, light white candles, organize clutter. pray a lot like every time u feel happy and safe or notice something beautiful say thanku to God.. talk to your angels and encourage them i pray a lot specifically to strengthen them, upgrade their armor n shih...i ask them to work for my loved ones, i try to be concentrated on them, visualize them around me all the time, visualize them standing guard outside every door. i feel this kinda stuff increases ur Holy EXP and over time your spiritual armor gets stronger, bad entities move on and things in life start really flow. the trust just has to b there first, and it will be, so long as u allow it <3

it just takes time, and like i said i dont want to prove anything or be The Convincer, but if u were already having feelings to go down this path i recommend not giving up and let God carry u through those tough situations instead of seeing them as an absence of God or God's Wrath. just keep praying cus it can't hurt right, even if it's just a way to occupy your mind with kind thoughts about your friends and family, there's no downside to prayer. its your own journey so u just gotta live it and feel it out ^^ but pls dont feel u are being punished by God or demons or anything else! So many "bad" things that happen end up being neutral or even "good" in the long run. We can never foresee the reasoning behind God's plan ~~~

I really got into xmen at the wrong time cause like yes I still haven't finished the krakoa era but the current state of the xbooks.... more than just bbeing dissapointing it is actually depressing that editorial agrees that krakoa was about mutants being "anti-human". Not even just because of a lack of media literacy but because these are the exact same arguments that racists start spewing when you start talking about the liberation of anyone that isn't white??? And Tom Brevort is just??? Proudly like "so true bestie" wtf are we doing here??? Krakoa might have ended not so elegantly and the later half was not as good as the first, sure, but it' such an important era fpr the x-men and to comics as a whole because in those 5 years we were living in a world where one of the big 2 was publishing books that were about a lot more than just "and then they had superpowers and were in a mansion lol". It just continues this awful awful cycle of big 2 comics where every few years something great happens but it doesn't matter because we have a status quo to maintain. It makes me wonder about the absolute universe honestly. How long until we move away from overt discussions about class and patriarchy and Wonder Woman straight up denouncing american imperialism to make it all boring homogenised regurgitations of the same 3 storylines over and over again.

The dems dropped the ball by letting Biden decline (and it has been obvious for the past couple years) with no game plan. And then they shuffled and put Kamala in an impossible situation with like 90 days. And whoever their strategist was, was a total idiot to make the campaign focused on shit that Kamala can’t even control — the Supreme Court reviewed Roe v Wade because it was technically, from a constitutional perspective, not correct to not let people in the states vote on it. This means that liberal states such as California are protected from conservative states (such as Florida) when it comes to abortion laws. Kamala and the democrats really tried to convince people that this could be changed back by voting her in office and anyone who has studied government should fucking know she was talking out her ass and scrambling to find something to use to propel her. And lost in the sauce were the working class! So much so that minorities and demographics of FIRST TIME VOTERS cast a ballot for Trump because the economy is so damn bad. Kamala dug her grave when she said a couple weeks ago when asked what her economic plan was that she didn’t plan to deviate from Biden. WTF, why would you say that?! That is the highest priority of so many undecided Americans. Lowkey convinced this woman did not want to win and was just stuck (also explains why she seemed on verge of a panic attack anytime someone asked her a damn question of substance about foreign policy or the economy). All she could do was parrot social issue crap which look. Citizens ultimately decide how that sway looks, presidents can’t really control how people view social issues, presidents are best for just sticking to basic government and the economy. When you have people that can’t afford to live anymore that cuts out their capacity to care about social issues because they are BURNT out. Not sure at what point we became pro the Cheneys or war tbh. 3) People’s reactions and vibes online are never a barometer for anything ever and Kamala and her team should’ve known that. No amount of brat aesthetics are gonna be anything except a cute gimmick. 4) Biden Harris administration has screwed foreign policy badly and I think plenty of people didn’t vote or actually voted Trump based on Middle East too. Like they screwed economy and they screwed foreign policy so idk what there was left to vote for except “not Trump” (which fwiw I would’ve voted for if I was in the US but also probably not if I couldn’t afford food) and cute gimmicks and the abortion thing BUT AS YOU POINT OUT there is fuck all that can be done about Roe now that Trump undid it and before these Supreme Court justices retire/die which won’t be for a very long time.
