The Half-Ghost and The Travelers
The Ghost Zone connects to multiple different worlds. So when Tucker upgraded Danny’s computer to route its internet through the Zone to have connection anywhere, it coincidentally also allowed him to connect to other worlds too.
Once he realized this, Danny started to occasionally try out games from those alternate worlds.
Amongst those was a multiplayer game called Ransack. It may not have stood out too much to him on its own, but he managed to make some online friends through it. They were members of computer gaming club from their world’s version of Madison, Wisconsin.
And then one day they completely dropped off the grid.
So of course he tried to look for them. Online friends losing contact isn’t uncommon, but a whole group vanishing at once without any warning? That was worrying to him.
The plot only thickened when he saw on that world’s news that an entire building in their city had been suddenly torn away through a rift in space.
Now he really needed to track them down…
(or in more direct words: a Danny Phantom - Worm crossover where Danny was online friends with the Travelers prior to them being pulled to Earth Bet by the Simurgh, and he sets out to try and learn what happened to them (and, once he finds out, to try to help them))

Birds Of A Feather Fight Ghost Together
Danny is now a bird. No, he did not transform willingly and yes it did have something to do with Vlad's new weapon because creepy old men who have acess to advanced tech will try anything on unsuspecting teenagers these days. It's not all that bad though, he can still fight pretty good as a weird pigeon (the ghost learned very fast that sharp talons to the face were not worth it) and the only downside was his attraction to shiny things, which has only distracted him a few times (no Jazz he was not hording the fancy and shiny forks, he was just holding onto them incase he needed them for a bigger dinner later).
Anyways he was flying through the GZ on his way to either find more shiny things or peck out another ghost's eyes, he doesn't mind which comes first, when a glint caught his beady bird eyes.
"Shiny thing first it is."
As Danny flew closer he realized two things. One, the shiny thing was infact a shiny sword. Two, the shiny sword was being wielded by a child in the middle of fighting a ghost.
He quickly flew down opening his beak and produced a small coo wail that immediately popped the creature. Danny needed to figure out how the boy ended up– Wait! HE HAS FRIES!
He'll figure out that later but now he needs those fries.

I may have come up with the crackiest worm crossover ever
Okay so hear me out.... worm/mst3k crossover
So msty wise this would be set during season 8 since that’s where all of the timey-wimey stuff that would facilitate such a crossover happens
The SOL and the Widowmaker go through a wormhole and end up on what seems to be modern earth, but somethings not right
The first clue is that a couple landmasses are strangely missing
The second more obvious clue is the giant angelic being in orbit that immediately spots them
Brain Guy psychically shields the mads but Mike and the bots get the full brunt of the Simurgh’s scream
Only for it to...not work
Mike and the bots have been so desensitized thanks to constantly being forced to watch the worst movies ever made for years on end in an experiment specifically designed to make them go insane that the Simurgh’s modus operandi has no effect on them
Trying to defend themselves, Mike Nelson, destroyer of worlds, accidentally blows the Simurgh up using a baking soda volcano or something
The Widowmaker touches down on earth bet, all of them getting confirmation that while they’re on present day earth, they’re not on their present day earth
Pearl then realizes that an alternate earth probably has movies that exist only there, and that includes bad ones, and suddenly the mads now have a whole new universe’s arsenal of awful films to torture the Satellite of Love’s crew with

I appreciate this cross, but contend that it's Amy who's the harried self-loathing enabler whose huge pile of issues conceals another even bigger pile of issues. The fact that she's also the shorter less-violent one with the incestuous interest is mostly irrelevant; her bad decisions aren't the ones driving the plot.
Vicky and Ashley are much less one-to-one. They're both passionate, self-centered, and taking unfair advantage of their siblings' willingness to cover for them, but that's about it. Vicky's coping method, as expressed through her powers, is to make herself the center of everyone's attention and project a facade of invincibility (which will crumble if poked too hard). Ashley's is to use Andy for all her emotional needs and also destroy every other relationship has in order to keep him from leaving. (So as a Parahuman she'd probably be some kind of extremely messed up parasite Stranger.)
Probably the biggest thing keeping me from actually writing this, or at least summarizing it, is not knowing how to isolate them properly - and, in saying that, the obvious solution is that the Simurgh attacked instead of Leviathan. Hm.

DPxDCxMLB Prompt:
“The Wizard was a Ghost King”
Now I love Danny Phantom, even though I haven’t had the pleasure to watch even a 1/4 of the show. But I love crossovers, and DPxDCxMLB is one of my favorites honestly, but there isn’t a lot.
This is more about lore stuff and is my personal brain worm of figuring out how to fill in a plot hole in Miraculous via crossovers.
So in Miraculous apparently a Wizard somehow learned about the Kwami. Now how could an alive mortal know of these beings? Now we could say they used magic, but let's go a more fun route!
This “Wizard” was actually a Ghost King, because from what I’ve gathered there have been multiple unless I’ve been lied to through headcanons. (I promise I’m getting to doing proper research on Danny Phantom, kinda got a list) Also, I don't recall most of what was actually said about this “Wizard” in the cannon.
This Ghost King could have been one of the kind or kinder ones, or just another selfish ghost craving for more power.
The “Kinder” Ghost King was friends with the Kwami hearing his friends complain or weep over not being able to truly interact with the creatures in one realm or another. Only tipping a few scales here or there, leading them somewhere else, among other things(Like Plagg committing genocide on the Dinasours or however cannon went…). The Kwami could only do so much in their current state, as they didn't have ties to the physical level/plane. So the Ghost King gave them options, for them to be tied to an object that could be handled by the creatures of the realms.
(Maybe they were acquaintances, or the Kwami came to the Ghost King for help to be on the physical plane of these other Realms? There are so many ways this can go)
The Kwami got to choose the realm(or Universe if you want to refer to it as that) that they could reside in.
It may even be the duty of the Ghost King to tie new Kwami to items and send them to their Realm, or to enact it when a Kwami would wish to join the world that their brethren now are in.
Now if you want to go the Selfish-Power-Hungry route, the “Selfish” Ghost King saw the potential in the Kwami and wanted to use it for himself. So to abuse their power the Kwami were tied to their objects, the “Selfish” Ghost King would be overthrown(the Ancients might have played a part if I'm remember who those are correctly), and the Miraculi would somehow end up their eventual Realm/Universe.
Or another one I came up with, the Ghost King of that time was a wizard in their part life! Or it could have just been a super powerful ghost, but the GK route is funner…
So imagine Kwami haven’t gone to a Ghost King in so long cause they’re wary, but these newer or older ones (older ones probably just didn’t want to join the physical plane) have heard of Danny even before he was crowned or was to be crowned. So they take a chance to ask for him to tie them to the physical plane of the realm their fellow Kwami reside in.
So chaos ensues on Earth as magic users, Guardians, and Amazonians alike feel the arrival of the new Miraculi for the first time in hundreds of years.

i was tagged by @thewaaywetalk to list my crackships for asoiaf!!! fun prompt!
i mean i do think briensa is considered a crack ship bc they haven’t met yet in book canon and brienne isn’t shipped enough outside of braime bc no one has taste except me and three other people in this tugboat with me. check my girls-
Tumblr media
god the northern lighting sucks so bad. anyways.
i have a hard time defining "crackship" largely because people will call anything a crack ship nowadays (*cue grandpa voice*) and back in my day people only called stuff that was like person/inanimate object or crossover ships crack but now you can ship two characters who have interacted, think about each other on several occasions, and have a bunch of narrative parallels and you get told its a crackship. personally, so long as they interact one (1) time i say it's got basis in canon!!!!!!!!
probably my most obscure is Black Aly and Alyn Oakenfist for F&B and Grey Worm & Jeyne Poole for the main series. I had a theory that the pact of ice and fire was a wife swap thing so not only would Jace marry Sara and his first born daughter would go north but also that Baela would marry Cregan as well because I thought anything short of Cregan getting some sort of dragon - literal or metaphorical - right now was dumb. egg on my face i guess alskjdf anyway i think more interesting for baela but i also thought it would be really interesting for black aly and alyn oakenfist especially considering his affairs - "i left my religion, my home, my entire life behind to marry this bastard turned legitimate that charmed me and he has the audacity to cheat on me with another valyrian" really hits for me, especially considering how close benjicot and addam were. once again, f&b is full of missed opportunities (to me).
the grey worm/jeyne poole thing came to me in a dream where grey worm and jon became friends and grey worm stayed in the north and married jeyne poole because they both have similar, extreme traumas and aren't noble born, and sansa gave jeyne away since all of jeyne's family was dead and grey worm started calling himself grey worm poole (i did say it was a dream) and now i just really really need something like that to happen to both of them or i'll die.
i'm gonna tag @transdimensional-void @kingcunny @maegorsbignaturals @riana-one @daenerysstormreborn @eggblackwood @allyriadayne no pressure but you better match my dumb ass energy aldjf

Fanfic 20 questions! This seems really fun, thanks for tagging me @followerofmercy
1. How many fics do you have on AO3?
Twenty-six! Which I think is a bunch when not compared to insane people who right, say, a hundred twenty fics. Cough Mercy.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
179,826, though I will add since I got my start in fic writing quests on Sufficient Velocity, there's another 113.2K that's not on AO3.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
My tastes are as fickle as the wind. I am a wandering ronin writing whatever I feel like. I theoretically write RWBY but also haven't updated a RWBY fic since January. I thought I was done with Madoka fics but then I heard news about the movie and had no choice but to write Heartless. I've written 3 A Practical Guide To Evil fics over 5 years. Who fuckin knows with me?
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Breaking and Entering Your Heart (Madoka Magica) is, somehow, my most kudo'd fic of all time. I have no idea why. I don't think it's particularly good (not helped by the fact that I was like 16 when I wrote it). It's not even my favourite Madoka fic I wrote as a teenager!
Doka Don't You Know (Madoka Magica) is my favourite Madoka fic I wrote as a teenager. It's still kind of embarrassing for me to read back, but I do think I did good with it. The real embarrassing part is that it was inspired by me getting emotional listening to the Ninja Sex Party song of a similar name.
Drabble Roulette (Steven Universe) is sort of cheating, as it was a drabble collection I did with several friends, but nevertheless it's one of the most kudo'd fics I've worked on. We all did a short fic every week based on the same one-word prompt, and God we kicked ass.
I can almost hear the Hounds (RWBY) is definitely the one I'm most proud of. What if Ruby got turned into a Hound before V1? Well everyone would be sad, for one. It also holds the distinction of being the first time anyone's ever done a "Cast of [show] reacts!" thing to a fic I've read. Talk about an ego boost!
And my fifth-most kudo'd fic is... Actions, Consequences, and the Tragic Lack Thereof (Worm)? The edgy oneshot I did where a very well-adjusted Taylor uses Coil's power to blow off steam? Huh. Not either of my RWBY oneshots? Well I suppose I can't complain.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Not really. I try, but as I've said before responding to comments is my dump stat. I really do love everyone's comments, I'm sooo insanely bad at responding sdgsd
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
It depends on what qualifies as an angsty ending; most of my angsty fics have happy endings, with Heartless being the only one I've written to really contradict that. Blood, Blood, Gallons of the Stuff and Sometimes the only way out is as a carcass have the worst endings insofar as horrible fates, but I wouldn't really call them angst.
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably Trim and nothing else? It depends on how you define it, but I'd say that one.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not really, thankfully. I straight up can't remember anything of the sort lmao
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Boy, do I! Of the smut I've published, I'd say it's pretty varied? Some het, some gays, some ships and an OC or two... I've got the variety, baby.
10. Do you write crossovers? If so, what's the craziest one you've ever written?
Not really? I find they're usually more daydream material than hunker-down-and-write material, though sometimes I have no choice. I have a chapter or two of the most self-indulgent APGTE/RWBY crossover that I doubt I'd ever put out there on account of it having a target audience of exactly one. Craziest would probably be the Madoka Magica/Magical Girl Noir Quest crossover I wrote as a teenager. It's harder to get more self-indulgent than fanfiction of a fanfiction crossing it over with the source material sdgds
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I sort of vaguely remember this happening? I remember someone posting a really poorly written edgy SU fic that had the exact same premise as my slightly better written edgy SU fic and only updated after mine did.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not that I know of, though if anyone wants to please feel free.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not really? The Drabble roulette is the closest I've come, and that was a bunch of individual shorties. Besides, I can't imagine I'd have a great time trying to fit my writing process with someone else (and I definitely don't think they'd have a good time trying to adjust to me lmao)
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
God that's tough. I'm not sure I can give a definitive answer here. I might have to say Madohomu or Midlink just because of how deeply they've altered my brain chemistry
15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Brother that is most of what I've written. I really want to get Tomorrow I'll be perfect and You waxen wing, you foolish thing done at some point, though I'm not sure I'm will. The Most Insane Girls On Remnant is a work so in progress that only one person knows it even exists, and if I could magic myself into fully writing one it would probably be that one.
16. What are your writing strengths?
If I could write an entire book of nothing but snarky narrators I would be a new york times bestseller by now. They are my bread and butter. Comedy in general, I guess, but that specifically.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Action scenes. Action scenes action scenes action scenes. It's not so much that I think I'm bad at them, more that they're just so hard for me. I could write a thousand words of most anything else before I write five hundred words of an action scene.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I don't super mind it when reading, but I can't imagine writing it. Maybe a word or two, but still.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I wrote down Madoka Magica at first, but now I'm realizing it was actually Warrior Cats, all the way back when I was a wee little child. I'm not sure if I deleted them or just changed ff.net accounts at some point, but I don't know where they are and I'm happy that way.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
I mean it's gotta be I can almost hear the Hounds. There's a lot of other things like (Aw Drat, Tomorrow I'll be Perfect, etc) but this one hold a special place in my heart. There's a reason I have chapter on pinned in my blog.
Damn that took me like three days to write. I shall pass the curse onto @golddragon387, of course, and perhaps @borkthemork to torment him

I have a few images of what this means,
The more romantic comedy is Jason coming out dramatically while bride-carrying Danny who is theatrically leaning into Jason, upping the look of a demure woman by pretending to be shy but touched by Jason being his ideal man who carries him like something precious.
The other side of me is leaning hard into comedic with Jason popping out of the pits looking baffled but tired, and Danny gnawing at him like some angry cat because Jason had scared him through a portal at the bottom of the pits and followed after him back to where he came from to teach him a lesson.
And an even more different side of me is wanting core-Danny to be baby and is now Jason’s baby but no one knows until some suspicious months later when Red Hood has a baby strapped to his chest and also wearing their own safety-baby-fied version of the Red Hood Helmet.
And then another OTHER part of me wants Jason and Danny to merge together like venom, and Jason is subjected to Danny ‘pun menace and just throw enough fists’ Phantom.
I have a thousands huskies inside of me howling to be heard, release me huskies
DP X DC Prompt #81
When Jason is dumped into the Lazarus Pit he emerges from the Portal with Danny!

State of the Fics
Here's a list and progress on the fanfic projects (affectionally called 'tadpoles' because they're all brain worms inflicted on me) I have going. As of 2/11/24:
Wet Behind the (Long) Ears: What if Ranma was knocked into the 'Spring of Drowned *Elf* Girl'?
-Status: Chapters 1-5 posted. The rest of the first arc is rough drafted, aprox. 35-40k words.
Chapter 6 is getting expanded and possibly split into 2 chapters! Had an idea and did some research, it pans out. Currently at 4k words.
The Stone Will Sing: Thematic companion to WB(L)E. Maybe Ranma's so short as a girl is because it was a young dwarf girl who drowned in Nyannichuan. Or perhaps the Khazad didn't die out, but vanished as a distinct race. Worldbuilding crossover with LoTR.
-Status: Outlining the story to start drafting. If this fic doesn't piss off some Tolkien scholars, I didn't do my job right.
Twice the Curse? Double the Fun!: Ranma discovers that P-chan is actually his old frenemy Ryoga. But somehow the Lost Boy managed to get himself *two* Jusenkyo curses. ...or, did he? One-shot for muffinmoonn.
-Status: Drafting, using as a nice palate cleanser when I get stressed with other writing.
Once We Were Warriors: OC Relarial is isekai'd into a 1996 Tokyo shared by Ranma 1/2 and Sailor Moon. This was prompted by a convo w/ a friend about our OCs as Senshi.
-Status: Book 1 posted on A03. Book 2 rough drafted, book 3 outlining.

Imagine if Vlad just like… had a kid.
Well, probably not his own kid, since I can’t really see him getting with someone else considering his obsession with Maddie, but what if like one of his relatives died and their kid ended up with him.
And Vlad’s… well he’s not the best dad, but he doesn’t have the whole nemesis thing with them like he does with Danny so he’s actually sorta trying.
Though considering he’s Vlad, they do still end up picking up some more dubious traits/skills from him.
Not sure if that’d be just from unintentional osmosis by proximity or actual training from Vlad. I can’t really imagine Vlad forcibly causing a portal accident on a kid to make them a halfa like him, but I could definitely see him having them assist him by teaching them some con artistry stuff and equipping them with ecto-tech and whatnot.
And of course, this eventually leads to that kid and Danny meeting up later. It’d probably make the most sense for this to happen during the college reunion, but I think it’d be cool for it to happen later so Danny has more preconceptions about Vlad.
So like Danny is incredibly suspicious of the kid but the kid is more just like… a bit maladjusted rather than actually evil. Probably not gonna full-on run away from Vlad in the same way as Dani did, but willing to go against him to help Danny out sometimes.

Was thinking about the trend of people compiling oneshots from unrelated fandoms into one published anthology labeled as a crossover and I figured like some others I’d try to explain a few things to people doing this for why this isn’t a good idea.
Putting multiple fandoms into a work gets it labeled a crossover. The expectation is that the two+ settings will be featured in one story. There’s a wide variety of types of crossover but people generally expect stuff like characters from each setting interacting, or characters from one setting being transported into another or an overarching story relevant to both worlds even if they don’t interact directly or stuff like that. It’s fairly self explanatory. If you tag with more than one fandom, that’s what people usually expect. I can think of other things that could justify it but not separate stories that are unrelated. You publish those as separate works. If you’re going to publish separate oneshots as an anthology, they best ALL be crossovers. Anything that isn’t should be published separately. Otherwise it clutters the search results and makes it harder for everyone to find what they’re actually looking for and that is only going to attract negative attention to your work as people grumble about them while scrolling past.
There’s not much benefit to publishing anthologies on AO3 to begin with. Anthologies of unrelated short stories are typically published like that for convenience for the reader and publisher. It’s far easier and cheaper to buy a whole book of short stories than to buy them as like, pamphlets. More profitable too because more people buy them as collections. That’s not relevant here since you already have a website full of search results for all of these stories. Only real reason to publish oneshots together is if there’s something tying them together. Same continuity, same theme, same scenario etc. and DEFINITELY same fandom and preferably ship(s). This sort of anthology makes sense because it’s meant to be viewed as a whole work as well as a collection.
AO3 already has a feature for putting stories into collections. Collections have their own tags for stuff common in all the stories. Title can reflect the reason they’re paired together. The stories still show up individually in the search so everyone finds the one they’re looking for without sifting through all of them but they’re still told they’re part of the collection so they’re prompted to look into it. Tutorial here.
Adding on to that, there should be a reason for these stories to be in a collection aside from the fact that you wrote them since people can just view your author page for that. People do actually click on those pretty often.
There’s no algorithm on AO3. This one you’ve probably heard shouted in bold text in large fonts often. I’m trying to keep this more calm since that can get overwhelming at times. There’s no feed on AO3, just search results, and the search results are based solely on what is entered in the field. This means that there’s no inherent benefits or drawbacks for stories of long or short lengths. This is in contrast to social media sites, a lot of search engines, and video platforms who prioritize promoting the content the company believes is most profitable for whatever reason. On say, YouTube, you see stuff like content creators combining videos that were posted in parts into longer videos because the algorithm used to favor short stuff and now favors long stuff, and that fluctuates a lot. We don’t have that on AO3 bc it doesn’t matter what becomes popular there. AO3 doesn’t make revenue off the site, it was designed not to because companies and authors have sued a lot of fic writers and sites for copyright infringement if they did. Fanfiction.net gets away with having ads so long as it’s nonprofit, but AO3 relies solely on donations because advertisers tend to demand you make sites friendlier to their brand and that’s a whole other can of worms. Point is, AO3 doesn’t care which content becomes popular, it’s just a place for it to exist at all. More or fewer tags, fandoms etc. won’t game the algorithm to promote your stuff. Only thing it changes is who’s looking for it. People who want long stuff search for higher word counts and vice versa. Without an algorithm trying to convince you to favor something, it’s a complete toss up who reads what as far as you’re concerned. Which tags you use and how many also do not boost your work’s likelihood of showing up.

Okay people we have a lot of options here, here are a few based on common DCxDP tropes I have seen or things I just think would be funny
Danny is a Bats Twin/sibling who mistakes Dan for Danny
Danny/Dan is a bats clone
Dan figures out Jason is a sickly halfa
Dan killed the Batfam in the TUE timeline and feels awkward
Oliver Queen says something stupid and Dan punches him
Vlad starts simping for Bruce and Dan is forced to watch
Time traveling hero sees Dan and tries to stop him before he becomes evil not knowing that timeline basically disintegrated
Long lived hero mistakes Dan as Danny as they met Danny on one of his time traveling adventures
Joker tries to take over Gala only to be killed by Dan who finds it oddly satisfying to know he’s killed the joker twice now
Dan starts dating your favorite Bat
Dan forgets he no longer looks like an adult and is frustrated no one will serve him alcohol.
Magical hero clocks Dan and Vlad as ghostly and think that ghosts are possessing their bodies
Vlad gets into a dick measuring contest with Lex Luther and Dan befriends Connor
Vlad and Lex have big “I hate you but want to fuck you”/divorced exes energy and Dan doesn’t know how to process this without alcohol
Dan gets frustrated and lightly (for him) punches a super in their civies and knocks them out.
Mixture of all of the above
Dan is still adjusting to his new body when Vlad suddenly proposes taking him along to a charity gala. Apparently this is a way to start making up for his past shady dealings while also providing a good opportunity for some quality bonding time. Vlad seemed so genuinely excited that Dan couldn't bring himself to say no (though he really wanted to). He just hoped he wouldn't come to regret his decision.

Poet i am obsessed with the Mouse Hole crew and have been rereading some of your fics about them! Just wondering if you had any hcs for the more (imo) underrated gals of the group like Lorraine, Lena, Harriet, Fern and Carrie? Keep up the great work, love your writing!!
Hi friend!!! Glad you’re rereading and enjoying them!!! It feels like a good start just to know people read them, let alone go back and reread. I definitely do because all 10 of them rattle around in my brain like ping-pong balls. For the sake of the fact that I’m a yapper I’ll throw them all under the cut and break them up by character: I have a lot to say!
LORRAINE IVANOVA
So I think I’ve said this to friends but Lorraine’s older sister Vera is the one who writes their stories down after the war. Which says a lot because I think Lorraine’s relationship with her older sister is… strange, a little strained because they’re so different. But the love is there.
She’s bilingual! She speaks Russian and English. She and June are the ones who were raised by immigrants who didn’t have English as a first language.
She’s the second tallest out of the girls at a whopping 5’9”
She has a lot of respect for Jack Kidd and I think that, if they had spent more time around each other, they could’ve been very good friends.
I wrote about Lorraine being the one to get into some trouble in this fic for the prompt list. Of which to say I definitely think she and June are a bit of a tandem when it comes to fights. Lorraine is a woman of action and very few words at the end of the day.
LENA CONNOLLY
No siblings and apart of the only child club. I always imagined that she’d work with cars or something after the war because Lena is still a very hands-on person.
Out of all the guys in the 100th she and Crank get along great, but predictably Curt is the one she jives with first as two New York Irishfolk.
I’ve always wondered if she gets with anybody after the war / if it would be a OC or an opportunity for a crossover moment with BOB or TP. She has a very “brothers I never had” view of the guys she served with so she isn’t exactly going home with a wartime sweetheart.
Most often Fern’s co-swindling conspirator. And the one scrutiny June by the neck to keep her from getting them kicked out of a pub with her short fuse.
Very good at baseball, and a big fan of the sport. It’s something she and Major Egan bond over in the POW Camp.
HARRIET MORGAN
I’ve said this before: biiiiiig crush on Helen when they first meet. She’s all heart eyes over her for a little while like a schoolgirl until things start getting Real for Harrie in terms of the war itself.
I went “how neat would it be to crossover her and Malarkey and make them friends” because of their extremely similar circumstances (losing their best friends since training, cold trauma, etc). So I think they end up in a similar circle after the War.
Harrie has a way of worming herself into everyone’s hearts but if I HAD to pick a 100th Bestie™ for her, it’s a toss-up between Blakely and Dougie. She and Blakely have a brother/sister dynamic in my head
Rainy days are her least favorite. So we can imagine that she’s struggling a little in England. Good at persuading officers into giving her free bike rides.
I think out of everyone, her shift in personality from the start or the war to the end is the one that’s most noticeable for better or for worse. My sweet girl.
FERN CARMINE
If she didn’t make it in the USAAF she was going to become a USO Girl for the obvious reason: she has the voice and the charisma for it.
Went to boarding school for most of her life & her first kiss was with a girl. And has been the first kiss / awakening for many girls since.
Has always been close to her father and her dark secret is that she still wrote him even when he initially wasn’t writing her back. Eventually he starts though.
Gets interviewed a lot at the beginning because she’s apart of an Old Money Family. This tapers off just slightly when they get to England, but she was photographed with Viv for a TIME cover (which she enjoyed quite a bit, to be fair).
She and Curt would dance together quite a bit at Thorpe Abbotts. His is the death that hit her the hardest.
CARRIE HUGHES
As nervous as she gets, she really hates the days when the 349th flies a practice mission while the others go on a bomb run. The waiting aspect of it makes it considerably worse for her.
Her dad is a cop and her mom is a school teacher! Carrie is very girl-next-door-like in nature, the type to hide behind her mother’s skirts as a kid.
She painted sets for school musicals when she was in high school! I think she’s very creative but is also humble to a fault about it. Always a little nervous when asked to talk about herself.
A fairly decent darts partner though, mostly taught by friends in her neighborhood.
Her favorite part of the flight is being over the channel because she has a very romanticized idea of the ocean & the beach. She really loved the flight from Greenland to England guys
Hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing those!

Twenty Questions for Fic Writers
Thank you for tagging me @sleepstxtic (check their answers out here)!! wow there are a lot of questions.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
6! but two of them are secrets
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
115,357, which I just. I cannot fathom.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Harry Potter
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
I don't even have 5 I can talk about 😂 so here are all the non-anymous ones in order of Kudos:
Simulation Theory (35k, Drarry, E): An offer to test out a new invention for Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes turns into a whole lot more when Harry discovers who has the other part of the paired set.
Measure My Lordship With Thine Vulgar Aye (1k, Drarry, M): Draco buys some Muggle magnets for the office.
Draco L Malfoy (the L stands for legs) (1.8K, Drarry, E): Harry could spend the rest of his life in the embrace of Draco Malfoy’s legs. If he was lucky, he would.
Round Robin: Mud, Bath, & Beyond (7k, Drarry, E): Drarry Discord September Round Robin, Prompt: field, Explicit rating, Purple prose (optional challenge: themed purple prose), Draco and Harry are up to something on a Muggle Studies field trip (to a field). (I'm Chapter 5!)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes! I don't know how to do it good though, because mostly I'm just 😭😭thank you, but I'm trying to write more coherent responses
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don't think I really have... I guess Simulation Theory is probably the closest to an angsty ending. I'm just too soft for anything but happiness at the end.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
That one I cannot answer yet but it DOES have an answer.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet, luckily! I think I would turn into a worm and sink into the earth if I did (see "too soft for anything")
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes! I don't know what "kind" means - I guess the kind that fits. I'm still new to it though.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Not yet, but I have a PLAN that involves Drarry and Ominis Gaunt and I can't wait to find the time to write it.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Nope
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yes, if the Round Robin counts! It would be very fun to write a fic with a buddy, though, and I hope I can someday
14. What’s your all time favourite ship?
If it hasn't been obvious, it's just drarry. Maybe someday I will venture out, but I am tired and time moves too fast.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Probably the two original fantasy novels I have started and abandoned - maybe I'll finish one of them if I'm lucky
16. What are your writing strengths?
I like to think it's using words weird cause that's what I have the most fun with
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I think it's everything, so really it's just self-confidence 😂 I literally teach people how to write for a job and sit here thinking "who do I think I am, writing stories" A WRITER THAT IS WHO YOU ARE, SHUT UP STAR
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I think it's okay for a few lines for effect, but after too much it's like, I'm not reading this? I can't read this? Why is this here? I think the best way to do it is weaving the other language in with whatever the native language of the piece is.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Drarry! (I am but a wee fandom baby)
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
Right now it's one of the ones I can't talk about 👀
Tagging: @jtimu, @drarrymyheart, @ghostofnoir, @annanother-thing (if you want, there are a lot of questions, but tag me if you do!)

Note
I thought of something: a New F!Leo where he's able to use Mikey's portal but instead of going back to the past he go into an area.
Like the one in your snippet where f!leo speak to other f!leos before going to 2012 tmnt universe?
This F!Leo sees your peepaws "Nonny peepaws" and have the option to choose which dimension/fic to enter.
It can be somewhat of a like sunrise fic/game you gave us.
Oh, like in DisMir when the Leos accidentally switch places?
Actually… I think the rise&tmnt crossover fic that you mentioned follows that premise… kind of. Maybe not? At least, from what I have planned out…
Hmm… a peepaw multiverse jumper? So if Reunion had a fic of his own—an actual fic and not a oneshot that evolved in my mind without sharing the entirety? Haha?
I need something more from this kind of prompt to get the brain worms going /lhj
