Just watched a YouTube video about Escape Room experiences and realized I didn’t share this yet…
So Mojo went to an escape room in Texas during Worlds.
There were 3 rooms:
Drive team in a NASA moon landing one.
Scout Team in a samurai themed one.
Pit Crew in a murder mystery room.
Results:
Drive team failed because they had 0 communication and were split up with only walk-in talkies.
Scout team made it out with I think like tenish minutes left
Pit Crew made it out with less time than scout team. Bloopers without context for the room under cut…
Game Manager: So the (fictional people in the room) noticed (important reference)
Me: Is this based off of (specific Sherlock Holmes adventure)
Game Manager: actually I think it is.
***they leave***
Other main pit crew: So, what happened in (name of case), (my name)
Me: lists the entire plot of the adventure, which includes all the details of this room, AND one of the three words we needed to escape
About 45 minutes later
Mentor: so we need (two specific pieces of information)
Me: we have one, I translated these four letters from the clue and the room has been following the plot for the most part. It’s got to be (specific word)
Other mentor: just finish doing that clue.
Me: I did it’s all scrambled but it’s what I said five minutes ago. We spelled it wrong initially but otherwise it’s the same word.
Third pit crew: we still need the last thing.
Me: did anyone check (important clue item)
Second pit crew: sort of not a lot in it.
***Third and I check again***
Third: THERES MORE RANDOMLY HERE LATER
***I move back to front***
Me: got it!
***room complete***
Game Manager: She literally got one of your answers the first five seconds… oh and spelling doesn’t count…

A guy who just wake up from a coma -> what did i miss?
Pomefiore was the last plot i follow before real life made me forget about our silly boys. How bad has the plot become now for our gang? Also who is that Gojo looking guy?
anon, I am so sorry and I mean this in the best way, but I do think episode 5 is the absolute funniest place to have stopped following Twst because shit starts escalating SO fast after that. episode 6 literally starts with a secret government shadow agency breaking down our doors and kidnapping students. zero to a million instantly.
and like...that's not even the zaniest thing so far? Ortho's hacked into the collective human unconscious. there's time travel (sort of). "Crowley might be Malleus' long-lost father" is a serious theory. if you'd told me any of this back pre-episode 6, I would have asked for the link to this unbelievable but highly intriguing fanfic.
also, episode 7 gave us (and then immediately took away 😔) the best character in the whole story:

The problems you argue about get bigger and more serious.#You still hold so much love for this person despite how much you want to throw hands with them.#To have such a complicated history with someone and then fall apart...You always think you have time to heal the wound.#Why wouldn't you! You've never had anything but time with this person. A brother not in blood but in true and genuine bond.#And then the fucker dies! It's horrible and sudden and the last words you exchanged were cold and awful!#What do you do with those dead end feelings? What do you do but grieve bitterly and angrily?#There is no resolution for all the love you wanted back. There will never be an opportunity to bridge the gap between you.#Someone you loved died thinking you hated them.
