Dear God help us to be less critical and just see the good in people. Let us remember the good times and pray that we will experience positive times now and in the future. Help us to be happy around those who are so difficult and we have to walk on egg shells around them. Surround us with so much love that the words spoken in anger do not wound us. Sometimes there are people in our life who only make us courageous, brave and strong because they make our life so difficult. We learn to navigate the most difficult waters because of these people. Perhaps we are better people because of what these people have put us through. God you brought me into this situation now provide me with the skills to deal with it. Help me to use my strength to not allow this person to make me feel less than I am. Protect and guide me when I am around them. Give me the right words to say and help me to react in the correct way not to bring anger down on me. Today bring me peace when I encounter the most difficult people and shield me from their arrows of hurt. Block the hurtful words they say from my mind and allow me to carry on and feel joy.
