Hey Wil, I know you don't drink anymore, but are you still involved with the creation of the Stone Wootstout beers?

This question was brought to you by my realization that I had a bottle from a few years ago hiding out in my basement.

I don't work on the recipe year to year like I used to, but I still get to offer notes on the art, and I will ALWAYS be proud to be part of that collaboration.

If you can cellar a bottle or bottles, the brew is designed to age for a decade. I have one from every year since we started in my cellar, and someone in my family is going to get one hell of a gift from us at some point.

Stone’s W00tstout 2020 (Picked up at Trader Joe’s). A 4 of 4. Smells of a ton of nutty qualities, some rye spiciness, and quite a bit of bourbon. You can tell this is going to be a heavyweight, and at >11%, it is. Much more complexity in the body with really great toasty qualities and a rich bourbon presence throughout the body with some nice sweetness. The alcohol stays well-hidden, and this is quite excellent.
