Lomion and the Night Spirits

It's an old drawing that I never finished and I only rediscovered it very recently. So I decided to finish it and try as best I could to do it in my current style. So it's possible that there's a little mix between my old and current style here, sorry if it might be a little clumsy.

I keep almost calling dog colors “morphs” like they’re reptiles. “Have you guys seen this husky morph” no Mal!! Huskies don’t have morphs!’

what's in a name?

Maybe I can be technical and point to the change in striped colors on Nancy's skirt, and the white for Chuck's shoelaces, and point to one fill in of white for a couple motion lines -- but otherwise those three lines under Nancy's legs are the total change in art.

Chuck's never before seen and never to be seen again dog named King. Until the next time that is needed to fill plot contrivance.

A tad ironic considering this story that we don't have a settled name for Nancy. And actually, we do, except that at one point in 1995 apparently.

Hair? Cut for the first time in months. Dogs? Walked. Vintage dresser organizer full of art supplies? Check. Antique desk? Check. Feeling good.

it seemed that searching three words allows you to find all posts containing those three words

with two words, it seemed that both words have to be in tags, or else it doesn't work. maybe unless the post is popular

but what if i write a really long tag? the maximum limit is 139 characters per tag

i did this experiment in this post

i concluded that if your search contains common words, for example "what write really", it only retrieves certain posts where those words are in the text

for uncommon/nonexisting words in the text of your post such as "brasput yabet mituarb", you can find your post by searching just 1 word

for two words in any of the tags, it retrieves the post, even if the words are common. for example "eat above"

me explaining to my grandma that the turkey tail and golden oyster mushrooms and birds nest fungi growing on her huge backyard tree stump are simply eating the dead wood to return it to the soil and they're cute and colorful and add to the whimsy of her landscaping and are not causing the weeds in other places of the yard or harming her little white dog

On the wall!!

Well, that didn't take long! I just had to figure out a way to display this print! What better way to be reminded of my favorite doggo than giving this nice print a frame to be on! This took about 40 minutes to engrave and cut on my laser engraver. I'm getting quite good at scaling prints for different sizes in terms of details. It's like, LOD's, but for real life XD Honestly a lot of fine to tune settings to get just the right amount of detail for the specific use case it will be used for in real life. Actually making a second one of these today, of my So's pet. These are so fun to make. I always like adding some color into my engravings, and I've experimented with so many different methods of doing that. Using a 2d printer is so boring when you have access to a suite of tools that can do color with some artistic creativity. Ironically 2d printers are more frustrating to get working than 3d printers. 2d printer tech is stuck in the 90's change my mind.
