HEY that's my emotional support not-even-a-cult-classic stage musical that was poorly received, a complete flop, and by all accounts a waste of money that I have never seen and quite possibly never will because it may never be produced again but regardless it has changed my life!

Hello, my name is Javier(He/him).

Welcome to my blog! This blog is dedicated to archiving *most things about Frank Wildhorn's obscure musical, Wonderland. Whether that'd be photos, videos, articles, etc.

*While I will archive most things, I will not archive any reviews of the show or anything related to the UK tour from 2017. Most reviews for the broadway show were infamously incredibly negative about almost every aspect of the show and as someone who's favorite version of the show is the one on broadway, I don't want to sift through all that for my own mental health. For the UK tour, it's just that I despise everything about it and don't like looking at it. The most is that I'll post about the concept drawings for the costumes

"Can I submit things to the archive?"

Yes, of course! If you have anything like photos of different productions, scans of programmes, videos, literally anything! You can either dm me or use the submission feature.

I will try to consistently update this blog as there is so much Wonderland things out there but I do have a life outside the Internet and also issues with fatigue so patience is required.

I hope you are interested enough in following the blog to see all the cool, interesting things I have found and will find about this underappreciated musical.

Current cosplay plans!

- Mad Hatter (Wonderland Musical). The red chess outfit specifically. This will likely be my cosplay for Heroes Dutch Comic Con Summer next year if everything goes right (and if I can get time off from work to go to cons. I might go multiple days this year but there’s a festival that was in the same weekend this year that might also be in the same weekend next year, and that’s like my “home” festival/con)

- Circe (Epic the Musical) - likely as a closet cosplay and not to an event/con. The dress I’m thinking of is a bit too naked for me to feel comfy wearing it to a long con day. Maybe if I can find a way to make it (non-permanently) more modest though. The main problem in that regard is that it has a pretty deep cleavage and I’d have to wear a wire bra. I really don’t want to wear a wire bra to a long con day. :/

One of my cosplay friends is going as Odysseus to HDCC next year, so if I can make it work it might be nice to do a group/duo cosplay for the day (only if I’m doing multiple days though, because I do want to do Mad Hatter at that con too). Sadly he lives too far away to just. Meet up and take pictures together outside of cons.

Idia is so the underworld saga coded! In the underworld, surrounded by the souls of the dead and those he lost. Filled to the brim with feelings of guilt for someone’s death, He’s also literally Hades. I found that this fits well within the story of book 6, when Idia goes down to the gate of the underworld and opens it, because of Ortho.
