so I caught covid at some point over the course of several events my sister had for her wedding. I couldn’t mask without a lot of exhausting trouble from family members so I didn’t…and I caught covid.

but like everyone else in my household was also there. mom goes on a camp last week as a teacher, and she comes back saying kids and staff members were getting sick all week but she managed to fight it off until she didn’t sleep for a few nights due to the kids doing school camp shenanigans, and like another staff member sent an email out saying they finally did a rat test (because whoever did the first aid kit for the camp forgot to put them in) and they have covid.

and I’m just like…people are just so lax man. if I had suggested last weekend that mom take a supply of masks down with her just in case she was carrying it from me (or the wedding) she would have bitten my damn head off, and wjo knows if other staff members would have let her wear them anyway…

And it’s not necessarily her fault, it’s not like quarantine is a thing anymore. and the school sent one staff member home who was showing symptoms so it may not have even been her that was the vector. I mean, i did try really hard to keep to my room and wash hands and not spread it but like… I just hate the guilt that it may have been me that made a bunch of teens sick on a week they were supposed to be having so much fun, let alone the danger of all the possible long lasting consequences.

I’ve thought of this stuff from the other side before of course, but you know, just hate the way the world is handling this pandemic. we’ve all said it a thousand times though. bleugh.

Lila's Pet of Horrors

Count Ds shop is now in France and is gaining popularity of pets how are so helpful people are feeling less stressed. Lila decided to buy one to keep her followers. She heard of their are exotic pets so she want to use her Gabriel status to get one. Meeting D she says she want one of his most rare, expensive, and exotic pets. D say he doesn't think she could care for it, but Lila threaten that she's th face of Gabriel and could shut this place down if she wanted to. D frowns but agrees and takes her to the back.

I made prompts for 2 pets.

Truth spider:

D bring out a container holding a spider. After jumping back Lila say she wanted a cute pet not some freak spider. D says it a very special spider and few are left in the world. Lila looks close at it. It was kinda cute and furry and the coloring was unique. What the heck, Lila will flaut it for a while and if the doesn't go when she'll squash it and claim it was Marinette. Taking the spider and signing the contract she goes home.

At school her sheep were surpa8sed she got a spider, but Lila claim she doesn't like how misunderstood the creature were and people talked about how generous she was. They also could she it wasn't that creepy and how pretty it was. Juleka was especially interested and focus on Lila for days as she talked about how she was a friend of the petshop owner and gave her this spider.

When she got home she threw the spider haphazardly and watched TV. She remembers that petshop said she had to feed to spider bugs, but no wayward Lila doing that. She'll just give it some crumbs latter. This goes on for a few days and the spider isn't eating but Lila doesn't care. One night the spider gets out of the cage and hunger for blood goes to Lila bitting her she sucks out some blood. In the morning Lila is tired but ignored it for the attendion of her class. When she comes to school she was about to start lying but suddenly start telling the truth about her truancy, bullies, and lies. She tries to back track but can't. Everyone is shocked and teacher that her to the principle wjo call her mother. Lila tries to explain but all she can say is how she hated ladybug and is working for hawkmoth. Then she goes to jail, but what of the spider.

Elsewhere

When tikki saw the spider she immediatl5 recognized it and told Marinette how truth spider are spider whose venom can mess with the brain ability to lie. Marinette asked if that meant the spider bite could make Lila admit to truth to everyone and tikki agrees. Mari likes this because tikki also explain they'll bite people for food of their not feed enough or if threaten.

Lila trial is fast as she keeps admitting everything even past victims. Marinette not wanting the spider to possibly be thrown out offer to take it back to the shop. When she arrived she talks to the owner about it and after eating some sweet leaves. When she looks down she see tikki with tears. Tikki say she looked around the shop and saw so many of her creations that are now gone. Mari asks if the shop was magic and if she should investigate. Tikki says no as hawkmoth is a bigger problem and the shop isn't a threat. Happy that the shop is the reason Lila is gone Mari decide to leave it alone. Back at the shop D was smiling. He had felt the energy of the creator tikki on mari and is even more happy he gave the truth spider to get rid of that girl.

2. Kitsune

Seeing d bring out a fox with 9 tails Lila smirked. This is what she wanted. A fox for a sly beaty like her. Paying for the fox she leaves. It wouldn't be obvious to Lila but the fox was so not happy to be with her. Her classmate were in awe especially alya with the fox. They ask if it's a real kitsune Lila make of show of calling it a fox with a mutation, but suddenly implies it was magic properies(which is weirdly true). Lila enjoys her day and can't wait for tomorrow. To bad she didn't notice the smirk growing on the foxed face. She didn't appreciate this false vixen and would enjoy showing her true deception. In the morning Lila couldn't fine her phone and after looking found it not charged. Lila was confused as she rememebr charging it. Shrugging she goes on with her day, but that was the start of it. Lila found her things missing or broken but when she looked again that were fine. She also saw someone stalking her but looking around they were gone. Lila tried to ignore it but the weirdest thing happen later. Lila was in the bathroom applying make up when Marinette came in. Lila starts making fu. Of her on how she taking her friends, but Mari just stares. Lila is then shocked when Mari right hooks her and leaves. Lila is stunned as she feel her eye swelling up. Looking in the mirror she sees a huge black. It hurt so much Lila was acully tearing up for real. She never expected someone goody goody as maribrat to hurt her for real. She swears Mari will pay and for once Lila doesn't need to lie. Going to the room crying she states that Mari assaulted her when she was in the bathroom. She expected comforts and yelling at Mari but the surprised when the class look at her weirdly. They say .ari has been hear the whole time, but Lila swear she saw her. And even gave her a black eye. The class then ask what black eye. Looking in the reflection like seeing she didn't have a black eye. Llla back tracks and trues to salvage things. The class are wary of her the rest of the day. Lila is getting paranoid and when she starts rambling her mother tries to ask her what's wrong and lial reveals herself. Afterward lila is carted of to a mental asylum and the fox goes back to the shop

With the tricks being played on Lila adrien immediately assumes it plagg. While laughing plagg states while he wishes it's not him itsthe acually kitsune. Adrien Consider trying to stop it but plagg says that he shouldn't try and beside everything is just in Lila head and she wont get hurt. Adrien believes it and leaves it alone.

throwback to that time in 8th grade that we were having a really shit day and ended up getting the whole class to sit in stunned silence after speaking to them for the first time.

we had only ever spoken to one person in that class and typically remained completely silent thru the whole school day. so when the teacher left the room for 2 minutes for some reason (cant remember) and everyone immediately decided it was a great time to start yelling and being jackasses, and we were honestly just at our fucking limit, we stood up and yelled "shut the fuck up"

apparently when your whole class is made up of people wjo make shitty assumptions its pretty easy to surprise them.

I was at my 9th year of school and i just transfered to a new school. It was half a city away so i had to wake up early to catch a bus. And i also got extracurriculars. And i got into sports club. And there i met a bunch of queer ppl and we made our own gay school club which we disguised as a board game club.

A month in i joined a biology competition and won the first round. So as a present from our lovely headmaster (❤️) i got unlimited 'skip class' pass. I was USING it. >:))) i still got my reading done and was studying on my own, i just haven't attended class. I was at school mostly to hang out with friends, play games, do cool extracurriculars and work at the library sorting books for our elderly-ish librarian. And after maybe do a workout. The only shitty thing was the school cafeteria lunches that always made me nauseous.

So i was waking up at 4:20 (i could have woken up at 4:30 but i commited to the bit) and coming home at at 21:00 and then promptly falling asleep. Or sometimes i would spend my time near a toilet, heaving.

Basically, my life was poggers.

At the same time i was working up my courage to come out to my mom as bi. She's like.. super homophobic, but also loves me. And at the same time my friend came out and was disowned (i was totally seeing myself being in his shoes). So i was doing some precautions. I asked my friend if i could crash at their couches some time. Asked a few monasteries the same thing lol. Got some money for food. Found out where i could take a shower for free. Where i could charge my phone. Where i could store my stuff. That stuff.

Sooo. After all that i started getting some stuff out of the house.

Sooo. That's my side of the story. Here's what my mom saw:

Daughter, 16 y.o. transfered to a new school. Started dressing up, leaving the house at an ungodly hour, coming back only to sleep. She was skipping classes, avoiding her mother and was throwing up on a regular basis.

She thought i was pregnant O_O

So, like, a few days before i got to my final stages, she cornered me and asked what i was hiding.

And i thought she somehow found out!

So i started crying uncontrollably which didn't help the situation at all. And she was stern and all like: stop crying and tell me what happened. So through hiccups and tears i told and she was.. chill with it? She was confused that's for sure, asked me some questions like: why did i think i was bi, what my experiences with girls were. And then reassured me she loved me no matter what.

We had a lovely night chatting about stuff. She told me she thought i was pregnant. I laughed way too loud for 11 pm (sorry not sorry, neighbours). Found out SHE had a crush on her bff when she was my age. And then she told me it was normal. Now i have a big suspition my mom might be bi as well and just doesn't want to admit it and is also actively fighting anyone wjo can publicly admit that.

After that we talked about how we don't spend any time with one another and i invited her to my sports club. We worked out together once every week and i made some time to go with her to the pool every sunday! Some nice Mom-Daughter bonding. We even bought some icecream afterward.

So! Everything ended good. Yay! Happy ending!

She still 'hates the gays' but i know she loves me and she also pays my tuition so i'm not gonna start a drama about that now.

Pride

As pride month is winding down, and because i saw the interview with Elton John, i decided i would talk about my pride and my experiences. If you dont care about these sorts of things, disregard this post.

So I said on one of my other recent posts that I hated myself because of my religion. Growing up, my mom couldn't really decide what religion she wanted to identify with. Up until i was ten, i had been Catholic, lutheran, Christian, and gone to at least 7 or 8 churches. And each one preached that homosexuality was a sin, and that celebrities such as Prince, David Bowie, and even Elton John were going to hell. Even when I was a kid, i thought that was weird. Of course at the time i didn't know what the difference was between gay, straight, or bi. The church also preached about gender, and about appreciating the gender that god created you to have. If you were born a boy, and you didn't appreciate that God gave you a penis, you were going to hell.

When i got to middle school, that gigantic cess pool that is public schooling, i encountered so many people i had never known existed. My mother was out of the picture at that point, i had no religious influence anymore besides my own doing. And as many kids do, i was questioning every thing. And then i met this girl. Were not gonna name names, but im pretty sure she knows wjo she is. For some reason, i looked at her and everything just came together and made sense. I looked at her as a little seventh grader and thought "oh my God i love girls" and then i thought "oh my god, god is going to hate me" and that girl and i dated for like a day, i broke up with her because i was afraid of my parents, afraid of God, and i think about it a lot, how much i regret doing that. I wouldn't come out to my parents until about three weeks ago, because of how afraid i was of them.

I came out to my brother, first. And as Bendalacreme said, my coming out story was a bit of a tumbling out story. He saw i was talking to a girl, and asked questions. I came out to him about four years ago. But then i came out as bi, because i didn't even know there was such a thing as pansexuality. Coming into this site and seeing the blogs i have, thats What taught me every thing i know about the lgbt community.

As far as gender goes, I have always known i was different. i would look at the other girls even in elementary school and think "im not a girl, i cant be a girl, im not them, not even close. " but then i would look at the boys and think "but i also can't be a boy. " Prince was my idol for the longest time, because gender didnt matter to him, his androgyny showed me, even as a little kid, that gender is just a calling card.

How i came out to my parents was a little... Odd. My friends were a breeze, they understood and in a way they just kind of knew. But my parents didnt really get it. They understood that I thought girls were attractive, and they eventually found out about that girl who i won't name, and thought it was an experimental thing. It wasn't until i returned from my college orientation with a large group of LGBT+ friends and with stickers with the gay flag on them that they sat me down and asked "what the fuck is going on" and I came clean. I told them that i was pan, and i was afraid, and i loved them, and to my surprise, told me they accepted me no matter what.

I still haven't told my mom, and im really not ready to do that yet. But if anyone has read this far, my advice to you is, never question yourself, never hate yourself for being who you are. Because you aren't alone and there is nothing wrong with you, and if anyone hates you for it, even God or whatever deity you worship, walk away. You are beautiful and you are loved.
