Hello. I’m at a diner in Arlington Heights, Illinois. I am getting my oil changed because I’m going to Cleveland for a show and I don’t want my engine to explode. Jason Melton is coming with me. We’re doing the show together.
I’m afraid these mechanics are going to tell me a bunch of stuff that’s wrong with my car and I’m gonna have to do that awkward thing where I say no a bunch and give a weird excuse for not having $1,000 to fix whatever they say I need. I wonder if they’ll bring up the bullet hole in my windshield.
This diner is nice. Food is cheap. I have a pic.
Hopefully I don’t bomb tonight.

Hi. Hello. It’s me, Jessica. I have a Tumblr again and I’m very ok about it. At first I needed a way to string all my dumb thoughts together and also to keep track of my shows and fliers, so I kept it all in my Google Docs. Then I thought, hey people sometimes ask when my next show is, so I made this Tumblr.
I have a show this weekend at Alive One. I think it’s Sunday. I don’t know the time because I was just asked about it a few hours ago, but by the time anybody sees this for the first time, this show will have come and gone. I still want to have documented evidence that I’m getting booked.
It’s January 1st in Chicago. Weed is legal here now. I still can’t afford it, so it doesn’t really apply to me. I was at my sister's house last night and took a picture with my niece who respects me less and less every time I see her. I think she might still love me but I don’t know.
I never make New Years’ resolutions because I don’t like to set myself up for failure. I just try to be a good person and put in as much effort as my willpower allows, which isn’t much by the way. Maybe that’s something I’ll work on this year.
Alright. That’s it I guess. Maybe I’ll post again soon. -J
