A/N: Ahhhhh I love this man!!! 😖 I've been in a little rut for motivation lately ( mostly for Genshin ) so I've been scared to start on request out of fear of getting stuck and never finishing them.. I'm also not good with such broad topics as relationship headcanons so I'm sorry if this isn't satisfactory.. At least I tried, right? 😅

↪ When it comes to Kokichi and the topic of love, he sticks out his tongue and blows raspberries like a little kid because...ewwwww! Love is yucky and gross and full of cooties!

↪ That said, if you actually manage to catch the eyes and heart of this childish liar, you must really be special!

↪ When Kokichi likes someone, it's like being held at gunpoint by a maniac who's gun is made out of cotton candy; harmless, but overwhelming and annoying.

↪ Contrary to popular belief, Kokichi does have a heart. He cares about his friends deeply, and although he doesn't show it, will do the craziest things for them, even if it ends with them despising him for doing so.

↪ That said, I don't imagine him with some mysterious, colder person. I also don't see him with someone who he'd view as a threat to his friends like Maki or someone as cutthroat and self-centered as Byakuya. I imagine him falling for someone more empathetic. Someone who's known him for some time. Who's maybe a bit shy or pours their heart out over the littlest things. Or, maybe someone who's simply kind and honest. Someone predictable, but down-to-earth and friendly, but I digress.

↪ Even with his crush, I don't see him pursuing it whether he was apart of the killing game or not. It's mostly because he fears it as it's a rather foreign topic that requires openness and honesty; two things he isn't comfortable giving to someone—even a close friend.

↪ That doesn't stop his body from reacting the way it does towards you, however! He can't help but yearn for attention at times no matter how much he fights, so I definitely see him in your face and never leaving you be sometimes.

↪ The way he treats you would be as different as two salt grains, but at the same time, as contrasting as his black and white scarf. He'll tease you as he does everyone else, he'll pick on you like he does with the others as well, and he's not above doing things that you may find cruel, but the level at which he takes it would be noticeably ( or possibly unnoticeably ) different from what it is with the others. Not so low that it's obvious and he looks like some simp who can't so much as tell you that you have lettuce in your teeth out of fear that it'll hurt your feelings, but it will never be as high as how he acts towards Maki or Kaito. Well, not unless you like to be talked to like that.

↪ That moves us to my second thing I see him doing which is indulge you. Similar to Miu, who gets off on degradation, he doesn't care for what gets you going really and he doesn't mind doing whatever if it makes you feel good. You like to be praised over the simplest things? He doesn't mind throwing out a cheesy comment randomly to fluster you and then immediately change the topic. You, for some reason, like it when he's a little mean? When he immediately claps back at something you say? He can do that. Anytime. Anywhere. And he will and then quickly follow up with his usual antics as if it never happened.

↪ But I'm getting ahead of myself. Realistically, I don't see him dating someone, but if he does then they'd have to be really, really special to him. Like someone special enough that his love for them outweighs his anxieties and fears of the worst happening. Someone who he's known for so long that his trust issues won't get the better of him when imagining a relationship with them.

↪ A relationship with him, though, wouldn't be as different as a friendship with him which isn't the best in some ways. He's still a teasing little shit who lies about even the littlest things and is constantly flipping between extreme emotions and downplaying them so significantly that you can't take them seriously.

↪ Don't expect to have any kind of heart to heart with this man. You could pour your heart out to him, tell him some deep ( and possibly dark ) secret about yourself or tell him about a thought or insecurity or incident about yourself that you haven't told even your most trusted companion and he will absolutely not return the favor. He's too used to keeping everything bottled up inside and hiding behind this facade of lies and trickery that showing even a little of his true colors makes him very uncomfortable.

↪ He isn't exactly affectionate. Kisses, hugs, holding hands.. Stuff like that usually only occurs when he's teasing you or trying to get a rise out of you. It's never a genuine action that'll stems from his desires and he'll make sure it never does.

↪ You can never tell what's going through his head even in his most 'vulnerable' moments—if you can even call them that. He's always changing, always saying the most absurd things, always saying the opposite of what he's thinking to ensure that you're thrown completely off his trail and can never read him. To put it simply, he's constantly putting iron barricades between you two.

↪ He can come off as heartless or emotionally tone deaf at times because of this. You could come crying to him or express a deep insecurity of his and it'd seem as though he's not taking you seriously or has completely brushed off your problems which can be seriously depressing and disheartening.

↪ That leads us to arguments, which always feels as if you're screaming at a clown. Kokichi is not one to let his true emotions get the better of him so 99% of your arguments will leave you even more frustrated and upset as when whatever made you argue first surface because it seems like everything you say is being taken as some joke or comedy act.

↪ What a relationship with him needs is time. A lot of it. Kokichi has grown up in an environment that has turned him into someone who physically can't let down his walls, who assumes the worst will happen to him or the people he cares about if he gets too close with someone he can't read like a book at all times ( and even people he can read like that ), someone who can be fighting an unimaginably tough battle—one so intense that it could drive anyone insane—and you'd never be able to tell due to how good he hides it. Time can chip away at all of that, albeit very slowly.

↪ With the right amount of patience, with the right amount of time and the right amount of energy and persistence from his partner, they'll make headway with him eventually. When they do, the change it'll cause will be as big as a baby ant, but it'll be a change nonetheless.

↪ He'll start mixing the tiniest, most insignificant levels of truths into his lies and his partner will have to accept that and let him know that, "Hey! I see that you're trying as hard as you can and I'll wait as long as needed for you to go further!"

↪ Don't try and force progress because it'll leave you being farther away from your goal. When he walks, you walk. When he tethers between taking that next step, you stay put until he decides what he'll do. If he goes backwards, you take a step back as well. That's the only way you're getting anywhere with him.

↪ And with all that effort, you'll get somewhere..eventually. ..Hopefully. I don't really know. When it comes to Kokichi, he could make you believe and feel as though you've made unimaginable progress only to do something completely left field that'll force the enormous gap between you two to become apparent.

↪ Basically what I'm saying is that he's more fragile than you'd imagine so be gentle with him! ..But don't let him catch onto it or else he'll panic and push you away out of fear of breaking what's already cracking apart. You need to be to tend to the glass that is his mind and body, caress it like you would a nasty bruise and don't ever put pressure on it, otherwise he'll shatter and you'll never be able to put him back together again ( nor will he let you try ).

Now y’all maybe wondering “why are you specifying rid2015?? Smokescreen was only in TFP, bro doesn’t exist in rid2015–” EXACTLY! Smokescreen wasn’t in rid2015 so most of the stuff made for the ship is for them in TFP but that’s not what I’m trying to sell y’all on

I’m trying to sell y’all on the idea that — if Smokescreen was in rid2015, he would be in a relationship with Bee — hence the specification

Now what y’all are probably asking is “why????”

Well that’s what this post is for!! First off:

The Shenanigans

Idk if y’all remember but Smokey was the silliest bot on Team Prime, easily the most immature mf in the main cast (other than Miko) — now try to tell me without lying to my face that he wouldn’t fit in perfectly with the goofy goobers the make up Team Bee??

He would definitely see himself in Sideswipe and try to bond with him thru pranks and goofing off while also trying to guide him into avoiding the same mistakes he made (ex. Hard Knocks)

He probably makes Strongarm feel conflicted cuz his reckless personality clashes with her image of what an “Elite Guardsman” would act like, but I think Smokescreen would just try to get her to loosen up a bit while not bickering with her unlike what Sideswipe and her usually do

Upon seeing Grimlock he’d immediately go “HOLY SCRAP ARE YOU A DINOBOT!?!?!”, he thinks Grim is so cool and really wants to spar with him

He probably sees Arcee in the way Drift acts and respects him a lot just based on that alone, though he knows it’s gonna take time for him to earn that respect back from Drift (I LOVE HIS CHARACTER GROWTH IN PRIME AND I WILL KEEP THAT IN THIS SILLY LITTLE IDEA OF MINE, HE DID GET BETTER AND I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE IGNORE THAT JUST CUZ THEY FIND HIM ANNOYING)

He’s probably not met much minicons so he’s not used to them, but I can see him having a good friendship with Fixit and being very nice to Jetstorm and Slipstream

He takes one look at Russell, turns to Bee and says “do you have a thing for human kids with brown hair and names starting with R??” Other than that I think he vibes with Russell and Denny well

As for his dynamics with the Decepticons — he’d be making constant quips, he’d make fun of all of them immediately like a robot alien version of Spider-Man — after previously fighting against Megatron himself he cannot take any of the furries of rid2015 seriously

The Fluff

Bee and Smokey learning how to work with each other in the field again, reminiscing about the rare good memories during the war

Bee infodumping about Earth culture to him while Smokey just listens while looking at him with borderline heart eyes

I think Bee really likes physical affection and words of affirmation so randomly Smokey will just hug Bee when they’re in the scrapyard and will compliment him when he does well at leading and mentoring the others cuz he knows that shit ain’t easy (again, he sees himself and Sideswipe and realizes “damn I really was annoying holy scrap I’m so sorry”)

I HC that Smokey can still move his doorwings like he and Bee did in TFP, so whenever he sees Bee and gets excited his flap up and down (I know this is purely self indulgent BUT IN MY DEFENSE THIS ENTIRE POST IS ME BEING SELF INDULGENT, THIS FANDOM IS ALREADY DEAD AS HELL I’D BE SURPRISED IF ANYONE EVEN READS THIS FAR INTO THIS POST, LET ME BE SELF INDULGENT IN PEACE)

When either of them get bad days where they just keep thinking about the war, they do their best to comfort each other thru it cuz, unlike the rest of the team, they were both there for most of the late-war-shit together on Earth — and for the stuff that Smokey wasn’t there for, he just listens and makes sure Bee knows that he’ll always be there for him

The shock of the team finding out that Bee has a partner is amazing and it could happen in so many ways (if y’all wanna see one of my interpretations on how this could go you could check out my fanfic: Old Recruit on AO3)

The team seeing their usually serious team leader be partners with this unserious constant-joker of a bot stores a lot of cute potential stories in it that no one is writing about — like come on guys I want Bee trying to be serious in the scrapyard but then Smokey just hugs him from behind out of nowhere and Bee just has to process it for a sec cuz touch starvation go brrrr while the rest of them is like :O

The Angst

While this section is mainly Smokey focused more than smokebee focused, I’m still adding it cuz this still falls under the “what if smokescreen was in rid2015” idea

Smokey definitely has claustrophobia and a hatred for being restrained in anyway from the TFP (waking up captive on a Decepticon ship after being knocked out, Knockout restraining him on his operating table while he tears the Omega Key from inside his body, being stuck with a dying Optimus in a cramped cave for a while panicking cuz holy shit Optimus, his #1 hero, is fucking dying) so any mission that requires going into a cave or dark & cramped area is gonna cause him to freak out — but of course he wouldn’t actually admit that until it’s too late and he’s having a breakdown in a cave cuz he didn’t want to let his “stupid irrational fear to ruin a mission”

Same goes with Bee and his fears — I touched on this a bit earlier, but Bee & Smokey definitely have some days where they’re gonna feel off and they can’t get the war out of their heads — and those days are gonna be the worst cuz most of the team outside of maybe Drift won’t really understand it

Smokey is gonna have some feelings about Optimus coming back and Bee not telling him immediately — while this isn’t the first time Optimus died and came back to him, last time it was for a few seconds, this was for THREE WHOLE YEARS — he’s still gonna be happy that he’s back, it’s just gonna take awhile longer for him to be ok with it than the others (the way that Ratchet is immediately ok with Optimus coming back out of nowhere in rid!2015 was weird to me so I’m fixing that with Smokey)

While he loves giving Bee physical affection, he hates unwarranted touching from anyone else, specifically stuff like pats or punches on the back (Alpha Trion when I get you Alpha Trion Alpha Trion when I get you Alpha Trion Alpha Trion when I get you Alpha Trion Alpha—)

For a potential angsty introduction to Smokey in rid2015: He doesn’t meet up with Team Bee until the finale episode on Cybertron, where he’s being mind controlled by The High Council to capture them (I’m a sucker for brainwashing/mind control/hypnotism plots so I need to understand how BADLY I WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN IN THE SHOW IT WOULD’VE BEEN SO COOL)

Steven and you have a little routine at work: you make meaningful eye contact across the gift shop floor, one of you raises your eyebrow and the other nods, signalling it was time to take your coffee break together

This usually consisted of him drinking one of his niche tea flavours that you’ve never heard of and you making your coffee with the machine in the break room

Then Ramadan came. Steven, of course, wished you, knowing about your religious views after having been work friends for so long

Not to mention the little crush he's been harbouring on you. And no, Steven doesn’t know you like him like that either because he thinks every time he catches you watching him it’s because he’s doing something wrong and you’re probably laughing at him

You came in to work that day with a sticky note on your locker with little drawings of the moon on it, and a hastily written note saying “Happy Ramadan” in his messy handwriting, and he made sure to tell you, too, when he saw you

His demeanour never failed to make you comfortable and happy around him. His soft nature easily coaxing smiles from you but this felt sweeter than any of those other times, your face heating up as you calmed your racing heart.

Nobody had ever gone out of their way to make you feel so seen in a workplace about your faith, and you were used to it. It was something you had come to accept a long time ago, but seeing your friend (whom you already had a hard time not fawning over) put in effort to make you feel celebrated made your heart melt. You had to hold back tears as you thanked him with a watery smile.

Steven unusually was missing during your coffee break that day, and the next, which was slightly disheartening after his sweet gestures but you told yourself he wasn’t your boyfriend and he didn’t have to report to you.

At first you assumed he just missed it because of Donna, or maybe he wasn’t in the next day, or maybe he got caught up overexplaining something to some curious kid who shoved garbage in the displays. Honestly, it could’ve very well been a lot of things. Regardless, you gave him the benefit of the doubt.

On the fourth day he missed your joined breaks, you hunted him down and found him sitting outside on the steps, drinking a tea he’d purchased from the cafe (not his preferred brand or flavour) and munching on a scone that, from the look on his face, wasn’t very good

“Steven? What… what are you doing out here?”

He almost choked on said scone

“Um, hi- uh. Thought I shouldn’t eat in front of you, since y’know… since you can’t eat ‘n all.”

The fact that Steven didn’t want to make you uncomfortable by eating in front of you so he sat outside in the chill March air, all by himself, made you melt. If possible, your crush on this adorable, dishevelled man grew even larger.

You then proceeded to yell at him (affectionately) to come inside before he caught a cold as he looked up at you sheepishly, muttering “alright, alright” while he dusted off his bum from where he was sitting

You vowed to bring him a box full of treats for Eid, and maybe a little extra gift depending on what you could find in East London for him

extremely self-indulgent headcanons: roblox piggy edition

these are 1. set in an au that exists only in my head (and adam's head) where bunny and doggy both live/don't get infected + willow joins the safe place crew and 2. all hcs about how the safe place crew (plus bunny, doggy, willow ofc) would be if put on babysitting duty for the kids aka georgie and the twins. so uh. enjoy :3

babysitting hcs: pony

he would be Very Anxious all the time. scared of one of them getting hurt and getting blamed for it (esp with the twins. he doesn’t want zizzy to hate him)

zuzy would constantly yap about whatever to him. she’d also relentlessly bully him and call him a loser (esp in the doggy/bunny lives au. she would compare him to doggy all the time bc she thinks doggy’s way more badass than him)

he would try his goddamn hardest to understand zee but his grasp of sign is limited so he only understands like. 60% of what she says and zuzy has to translate most of the time

speaking of, zee would talk a lot too, constantly signing, and her + zuzy combined would be a Lot for pony

georgie, partly bc he’s older and partly bc he has anxiety, would be quieter, knowing that pony is overwhelmed already, though he defo wishes he and pony were by themselves cause they talk a lot on their own (pony sees a lot of himself in georgie hence their friendship)

after a while, pony would just fucking snap at the kids bc Overwhelmed, at which point they’d be like “oh we fucked up” and try n be nicer to him

by the time the others (zizzy) get back, pony’s like “oh no yeah they were great!” but he later tells her to never leave him alone with them again

he is left alone with the kids Often after that first time though not that much

babysitting hcs: doggy

doesn’t get put on babysitting duty much

spends most of his time with the kids training them to fight. this is why zuzy thinks he’s so cool, he can fight and he has an axe and is super badass. (pony has a wooden sword. she calls pony a loser and mentions this all the time)

gives zuzy snacks and/or money (a dollar or so) every time he hears her bully pony (they have a frenemies type thing going on cause yk pony tried to infect doggy)

is pretty good with the kids in general, laid back enough but always watching (the kids sometimes try and sneak off somewhere since the safe place is Huge. he catches them every time)

knows some sign outside of his time at the safe place, learns more via zee (he’s a much quicker learner than pony in this regard)

surprisingly good with any weapon, hence why he’s training the kids to fight better

georgie follows him around a lot, thinks he’s just as cool as pony (compliment to pony, not an insult to doggy lmao)

likes hanging out with the kids but gets agitated easily if they’re being little gremlins

plays a lot of games with them (hide n seek, tag, etc) they love it

babysitting hcs: giraffy

really good with kids

gets put on babysitting duty the most

the Calmest around the kids, never snaps at them even when they’re being gremlins

he spends most of his time outside gardening, so the kids get to play outside whenever he watches them (often)

knows about the same amount of sign as doggy (not fluent but goddamn close)

listens to all the kids yapping, they talk while he gardens

the twins think he’s a bit boring but they like him anyway

decently good with emotions, handles their respective meltdowns and breakdowns pretty well

actually offers to watch the kids which none of the others do (cept maybe mimi with zee or pony with georgie)

overall the best babysitter like objectively

babysitting hcs: zizzy

objectively good at babysitting

that being said, she doesn’t babysit often. she was forced into a parental role for the twins so while she loves them, usually she takes a step back from the childcare aspect and acts more like you’d expect a sister to instead of like a mother as she’d previously been

has a super super short temper so she snaps at the kids a lot —often questions if she’s fucking up her sisters’ mental states cause of how easily she gets upset with them (she doesn’t want to be a bad sister/parental figure)

thinks georgie’s a good kid, though doesn’t watch him much

usually just babysits the twins because duh

the best at dealing with the twins and their bullshit /aff

completely fluent in sign (obvs)

helps doggy in training the kids, continuing the fencing lessons she’d been giving the twins before the infection

usually the one in charge of the kids and the one distributing babysitting duty, hence why she almost never babysits

bakes with the twins a lot, teaches all three of the kids to bake/cook basic things

just wants to be a good influence on them

the most overprotective person ever over all three kids

not on babysitting duty much, usually focused on her science/work

teaches the kids to give them some sort of school

fluent in sign (knew before joining the safe place, zee was so happy)

zee follows her around almost like a shadow

she and zee talk a lot, zee asks about science and everything (autism to autism communication)

when she’s stuck with the kids, she mostly lets them do whatever/has them sit with her while she does her work

zee is the only one who really likes hanging with her

when she’s not working, she takes the kids outside and has them ask her any questions about anything, whether it’s something in nature or sciencey in genreral (they’re surprisingly interested when it’s formatted this way)

georgie warms up to her after a bit, zuzy takes a lot longer

if she’s given the option, she only watches zee

the three of the kids together can overwhelm her (especially zuzy) but she tries to stay calm, never snaps at them unless it’s REALLY necessary

zuzy and georgie kinda hate the classes she sets up for them while zee likes them

just happy to be helping the kids learn and to be spending time with them

the oldest of the safe place crew by a good bit

pretty calm but easily startled/usually has her guard up

the kids like her, they think she’s cool (though the twins say zizzy’s cooler)

knew some sign before meeting zee

likes babysitting, gets stuck watching the kids a lot

has (had? idk) siblings so she has experience with kids and knows how to deal with them

likes how ready to fight the twins and georgie are, gets along well with them

cannot stand it when the kids argue, always breaking up fights even when she’s not babysitting

would be “the cool aunt” (though after they meet willow she gets the title of “other cool aunt”)

is a bit strict with her rules, doesn’t want anyone to get hurt and is always on high alert for infected to make sure they stay safe

a really good influence on the kids, they love her

This might be a hot take? But I am OBSESSED with the idea of Zane x Kiki in Mystreet had she existed in that universe I think they be so so fun I love them.. definitely would be a super healthy couple since I hc they would've met/dated a little before the start of the series and at that point Zane would NOT have been an excellent person and Kiki would NOT have tolerated it lol

This is incredibly indulgent, but I like to believe MYST! Zane, esp towards the beginning of the series, is very cunning linguist and can definitely don a very charming persona. I think they would've met in their early-mid 20s, and Zane is immediately enamored and so w/out thinking he whips out the manipulative rizz and they go out. This of course can't last forever however and once he sort of reveals his true colors it's over

I do think in this circumstance he did genuinely care about her, but didn't really know what to do about that? Like he'd spent so much of his life pushing people away but now that there's someone he is interested in he does the only thing he knows makes people like him - sweet talk. He charms her to the moon and back and that works really well for a while but as previously mentioned it's not something he can keep up forever, and she doesn't respond very well to finding out he pretty much been lying about himself to her for this entire time and break it off then and there

I might also use this to add Leona into my myst rewrite since I hc her to be Zane's kid, like maybe shortly after he and Kiki breaks up she skips a period? 👀 and she'd raise it solo with the help of her brother and maybe some of their friends, but maybe she wouldn't say anything to Zane since they had such a nasty break and her opinion of him would still be pretty hostile at this time

I like to think they meet up again later down the line, probably sometime between s3-s5, before starlight. In my rewrite that'll be several years since s1 so Zane'll have plenty of time for growth and self improvement. I think she'd see that and be inclined to give him a second chance, and start a tentative friendship, and of course she'd admit to not telling him about Leona..

Idk man I just think about this a lot and think there are so many fun angsty things that could be done here

Saeyoung is more than happy to take in another little sibling. He is the kind of person that wants to do everything to protect his family, and if you want to be a member of his family, he'll protect you. You don't have to be in love with him to help him realize what he wants to do in life.

You just have to love him and want the best for him. He wants the same for you, and he feels fortunate enough to have met someone as special as you. You look up to him, kind of like how Yoosung does, it's sweet. It's a solid remind reminder that the RFA is just like a family to him. He likes to imagine the RFA as a big family and it's one that he's chosen for himself and one that he wants to keep for the rest of his life.

Consider yourself grateful to be included in his family in any capacity because that's not an easy spot to fill. Saeran is his number #1 but it isn't going to take away the fact that you're number #2. He wants to spoil the two of you in particular rotten. He's one of those doting big brothers who wants to see you smile big, but he has the tendency to make you do so by teasing you or tormenting you.

It might always seem like his pranks are mean natured, but in reality, he's looking for something that can take your mind off of whatever's bothering you. 

Expect to be pulled into family shenanigans almost instantaneously.

That's a broad category and there's not enough time to go into all of the ways that this new family gets into trouble and mischief. At least, this time, it's not the bad kind of trouble. It's more like handing him the wrong tool on purpose when building, or playing keep away with someone's phone after you took a goofy picture of them.

Have you ever needed somebody to talk to late at night? Well, he's great for that too. If you need to take your mind off of things with somebody who just gets it, you can go out for a drive with him. He can talk about nothing and everything. It's nice to spend time with you more than anything else and he's grateful to be somebody you look up to. But, in many ways, he looks up to you, too. Why wouldn't he? Just because you see him as an older brother doesn't mean he can't be inspired or humbled by you!

Bi-han finding out im now shang's wife. Years later,not the spunky little snark as i used to be. Now stands before him a courtly woman,with a gleam in her eye of all the presence of a dragon empress. And a deadly foe. Or....perhaps a friend?

"Not surprising in the least,i figured much. Given how he acted around you." bi-han says.

Me being absolutely courteous to him and polite. Welcoming him to join for tea.

Bi-han taken aback but accepted the hospitality.

"You are very kind,gentle for being the sorcerer's lover" bi-han said.

" *chuckles* do not mistake my generosity for demure coyness bi-han. I could kill you easy. But i won't,i gain nothing from it. Nor is it worth killing such a skilled warrior."

Lady tsung retorted.

"Then why have tea with me?"

Bi-han asked curiously,as to why lady tsung would do this. Let alone a spy for quan-chi. (Look at the moment he was. He hadn't broken free quite yet from quan chi....yet. also no hanzo n him aren't enemies anymore. They aint friends but they aren't enemies but sadly bi-han is still plagued by the wraith noob-saibot. And under quan chi. The bald bitch he is.)

So what’s gaming pastas favorite food, aesthetic fashion style be like?

Now before I answer I wanna get a few things clear:

I don't know much about fashion or aesthetics, I will use what I know to explain as well as what I believe fits the most-

I will not do every Gamingpasta, because otherwise I may lose my mind, I'll just use the “Big 8” for now.

I don't want these to overshadow what this blog is for, aka my self-indulgent need to show my creations due to my ships and AUs. But obviously this doesn't mean I dislike answering Gamingpastas related questions or ramble about my made up “lore” or headcanons. Just be aware that this blog is for many things, mainly self-indulgence. It's more I don't want you to get disappointed due to believing this blog is promising smth different.

Okay, enough of that, let's go ahead.

Ben: Honestly, given his years long imprisonment and abuse, the act of someone making food for him, especially sweets or something warm mean more to him than a favorite food in general. Tho if he had to pinpoint, prolly like doughnuts, pudding and chocolate. He also used to be weary of meat dishes when he still lived in the mansion due to EJ and Liu mainly looking after him, even though EJ of course never fed them human meat. His fashion style is honestly whatever he wants to wear, casual, emo, crazy 90s, even crossdressing. In fact he has a whole closet with clothes he wanted to get cause he simply liked them but never wears, he prefers stealing from Silver or alike lol. But if he had a specific style I guess Scene fits him quite well. The mix of punk or emo with many colours like the 90s, just noice.

Silver: I headcanon him to be a pescatarian , aka he doesn't eat meat, but still eats fish. He likes nearly everything that warms one up or is well cooked, as he enjoys cooking himself (Don't ask why I have that hc I just do). A food coming to his mind quickly is muffins or ramen. He also loves hot drinks, like coco, tea or coffee. He prolly prefers baggy, comfortable casual clothing, not really a whole aesthetic, tho I can see him pull of most alternative styles.

Steven: He likes to share, as he's what most would call a bro or buddy type. Some also like calling him the mom friend despite not seeming like it at first. So he is basic and likes pizza, nearly all variants. I guess his style is similar to Silver, though he doesn't mind if the casual clothes aren't as baggy, big, comfortable. He also likes them being a tad more sporty, in order to walk and move around better.

Glitchy: Glitchy is full vegetarian. There isn't really much to add here, he does like curry. Especially those formed to look like Pikachu. His style is pretty similar to Steven, tho he can prolly pull of like academia vibe if he were to feel like it, but prefers more casual or sporty clothing, once again to move around better.

Sonic.Exe: I'll be easy and basic. He likes hot dogs, especially chili dogs and very sporty clothing.

Tails Doll: Doll never bothered much with interests, due to insecurities as he is a doll and was abandoned. But he is often seen drinking like tea and coffee. Perhaps someday he'll allow himself to fully try out life and try things to find a favourite food. As for clothing, I think whatever fits best at the moment, tho he is very interested in steampunk. Lots of gears, perfect for mechanics, suits and like to still look fancy, nice fall colours, it seems made for him.

Dark: Don't tell anyone, but Dark secretly really likes candy, especially the Japanese star candy. He used to often bring it to Ben and would eat some by pretending to only do it, so Ben won't eat all as that's unhealthy for a growing boy. He also likes most meat dishes. Fashion style is definitely goth. Black always, lol. Except for the rainbow friendship bracelets Ben gave him.

Brine: Also pretty basic, he likes meat dishes, mainly steak and very casual clothing. Never really cared to find out his style of choice.

BELLADORA HOWEVER!!!!!! YES!!!! i used to be insane about them and i think there are posts somewhere on my blog under the /belladora tag. to be they’re friends with benefits. they meet at regulus’ bday party and he invites his estranged cousin he hasnt seen for years because she finally left her family. shes full of repressed anger, doesn’t know how to act around people, nearly bites everyones heads off, scary and looks like she hasn’t slept in 2 years. in my mind she also looks older than she actually is. i picture her being 9 or 10 years older than regulus and his friends. anyway. panda takes one look at this socially inept murderuos woman and she’s immediately gone for her. she wants to be her friend. wants to study bella under a microscope. wants to keep her in a lab. she’s not scared off by her foul tongue in the least. pandora is younger, but still more experienced because shes a casual serial dater in my mind. bellas only experience is the man she was forced to be engaged to and they hadn’t even kissed. they’re both bad with social cues, neither of them knows where the line between friendship and ’something more’ lies, pandora is just being a good friend. showing bella the pleasures she hasn’t experienced. they grow codependant fast. regulus hates it. bella hangs off of pandora as if there’s a leash around her neck. pandora just wants to be around bella all the time. neither one of them knows what personal space means. they don’t consider it might be inappropriate sometimes how close they are. when pandora sits on bellas lap even tho there are 3 free seats available. neither of them thinks twice when pandora wants to try out a new spell or potion that will allow them to read each others minds. bella would be conjoined to pandora if she could. she hates evan simply for being pandoras twin. pandora asks bella to move in after theyve slept together twice

If you're still interested in answers to your twd shipping post, I just finished the series :D Feel free to ignore, this got really long.

(And just a heads up, any time I say "Daryl is..." I mean that I hc him that way. Just so it doesn't come across that I'm arguing that anything I say is canon or not. xD)

I'm a donnie/conyl shipper and I am totally pleased with the state of Daryl's relationships by the end. Daryl is someone who takes his time comfortably letting people into his heart. The pace he and Connie are moving felt good to me! While the self-indulgent part of me would have loved more for them (at least Connie also seeing him off or slightly more physical affection), I didn't need a fully established relationship between them yet. I see it as something that is there, but still blossoming as they're also navigating their way through own personal paths in life.

It took 10+ years for him to tell Carol he loved her and she is an extremely important person to him. I don't think it's weird if he and Connie aren't quite there yet.

That, and I personally hc Daryl as not a very romantic person in general. I don't think he's going to be super mushy or deep kiss in public. He's not one to long for candle lit dinners or walks on the beach, ahaha. This also goes had in hand with my hc that's there's some gray romantic/sexual or demi romantic/sexual thing going on with Daryl. I hc the way he feels, expresses, and engages with people relationship-wise is pretty different from mainstream folks.

(So when I'm in the mood, I literally feel comfortable hc'ing that he and Connie ARE together in the epilogue scene and they just didn't express their reunion with any big grand gesture because they draw most of their joy from casual physical affection and simply being around each other.)

The other complicated half of the answer is that I also see Daryl and Carol as sort of... platonic life partners? So to me, they kind of ARE together, just not in the traditional romantic and/or sexual way? Whereas I enjoy Daryl and Connie having a bit more of that romantic interest in each other.

And as someone who connects very strongly to deep, intimate, polyamorous/non-monogamous relationships, I have no problem shipping Carol with Ezekiel romantically, Daryl with Connie romantically, and then Daryl and Carol in an equally important but different dynamic relationship that includes this true, deep, powerful platonic love.

And media almost never gives us relationships like Daryl and Carol that are platonic, so I just adore them that way. It's so satisfying for me seeing a man and a woman so close who aren't romantically involved. I LOVE PLATONIC 'I LOVE YOU'S THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY.

TWD often comments on not being restricted by how the old world expected life to work, and I think that can go for relationships too. The dynamic that Daryl and Connie and Carol and whoever else have don't have to fall in neat little boxes they way society used to dictate. I love it being fluid and open and comfortable without a need for jealousy or labels.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg for me when it comes to talking about these guys, but I'm trying to keep it concise as possible. xD

So, I think your post was asking about what less ideal state shippers prefer, but personally, I don't feel I like lost anything. Who knows what's to come with the spin off, but as of the twd finale right now, I don't feel like they ditched or abandoned Daryl and Connie and I wouldn't give up Daryl and Carol's friendship for the WORLD. They're both super important to me. :D

And I left behind ship wars back when I was 13, so no matter what does happen in the new spin-off, I'm going to be in my happy little twd bubble off to the side shipping these characters in the way that brings me the most joy.

While I’m not really engaging with this part of the fandom (‘shipping wars’) anymore since the show has ended, I think that this is a really interesting take and I’m very grateful you took the time in writing out this ask, thank you.

You make some very interesting points. The one thing I absolutely agree on is the asexual Daryl hc. I’ve always been a big big big supporter of asexual Daryl.

I’m glad you’ve watvhed this show tho, and I’m glad that you, a donnie shipper, can also appreciate the profoundly deep connection between Daryl and Carol. A lot (not all, but a good chunk) of donnie shippers like to diminish their bond in favour of their ship. So thank you for that.

But one thing I will have to “call you out” on (I’m sorry for the phrasing I really don’t mean it in a harsh way hahah) is the “Daryl isnt one to long for candle lit dinners” line… because this

is a very treasured moment in the Caryl fandom. Daryl being the only person Carol let in (both physically and emotionally) after she pulled away from the group, and Daryl asking “if [he] has to be a king to get some food around here” is such a beautiful scene.

That and in s11 he asks Carol to meet him for lunch, and when Carol suggests the diner, he tells her “it’s a date” … so like… he does, and has been involved in asking people (Carol) on dinner dates

Complicated Couples: Author's Notes

The Author's notes may have gotten out of hand and needed a post of their own!

I left a lot of things hanging when I finished Complicated because the story was going to continue in Hinge. But Hinge generally revolves around Riley, Liam, and Drake along with Hana and Max. I’ve had the idea of doing a compilation of these side characters for a while now and the choices holidays prompts gave me the nudge I needed.

I realize that I created a lot of OC’s for Complicated and maybe no one but me remembers or cares about the arcs I left hanging for them. I also brought in Logan and Ellie from Ride or Die as crossover characters. I also have a lot of HC’s about other characters I haven’t fully explored, so this is a little self-indulgent piece that allowed me to do just that.

This compilation uses most of the themes from the choices holidays prompts, but is not set on Valentine’s Day. Rather, each interaction here takes place the same morning, the day the unity tour arrives at Applewood. Not everyone is at Applewood but that is made clear in the text itself.

I tried to keep it to roughly 500 words per couple. Since there are eight couples, it still passed 4k words.

Liam, Riley, and Drake do not make an appearance in this. Instead, this focuses on all the other couples that are a thing, were a thing, or will eventually become a thing in the Complicated/Hinge universe. Not all of the interactions are fluffy or end well.

The couples are:

Marco and Callie: I originally created Marco Rossi in Savage Love where he is a jump instructor. He has shown up in just about every other universe I’ve created as a member of the Queen’s Guard or the Royal Guard. In Bad Romance, he was dating Drake and Savannah’s sister that was murdered. In Complicated I wanted to give him a happily ever after. Callie Gataki was created for Complicated, she was a maid at Fydelia whom Riley made Liam hire to save her from Madeleine’s verbal abuse. Assigned a position at Applewood, she told Riley what she’d heard from another maid about the setup and later participated in tricking Ana De Luca into putting a positive spin on Riley and Liam’s relationship to pave the way for their engagement. I was originally going to hook her up with Alec, but then I decided Alec was for Max. Callie and Marco met in the Complicated chapter Encounters.

Alec and Max: Alexandros Eliades was created for Complicated as Liam’s undercover guard posing as his personal secretary but shows up in pretty much everything now as the head of Liam’s King’s Guard, and in Savage Love as Liam’s crown shield. In this universe Max is gay. He ends up with Alec in New Year’s Eve in Valtoria and it is implied they have developed a close friendship over the years with neither of them admitting their true feelings for the other. Their first little interaction is in the Complicated chapter Encounters. The boyfriend Max mentions is the yoga instructor from Yoga Pants.

Leo and Liv: They really have only shown up in the Hinge chapters Thanksgiving in Valtoria and  New Years Eve in Valtoria where they are already a couple. However, it has always been my HC that this is the same Leo and Liv from this one-shot. The series Leo and Liv is supposed to be the build-up to said one-shot.

Madeleine and Cassie: I created Lady Cassandra Kumari, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Burgundy and Liam’s cousin for Complicated specifically to be a LI for Madeline. They end up together in The Agreement but I have not decided their final fate here. It is my HC that Madeleine is gay and I have written her as such in every universe I’ve created. I realize that not everyone has read or finished Complicated and even those who have may not remember all the details as it wrapped up in July of 2022, so I went back and pulled all the Madi x Cassie content from Three Weeks in Ramsford and Complicated and compiled it into one document. I hope it makes cohesive sense. Here it is: Madi and Cassie.

Savannah and Bertrand: In Complicated Savannah moves back to Cordonia, to her old rooms at the palace. I always felt like there wasn’t enough strife between her and Bertrand in canon over her literally keeping his son a secret from him so here it is.

Constantine and Regina: Not a couple most people probably care about, but I had an idea for them so I wrote it.

Logan and Ellie: Drake and Riley bond with Logan and Ellie during the lockdown in Manhattan and their subsequent escape to Virginia. In the last chapter, Drake offers Logan a job as Liam’s driver and he takes it.

Bianca and Bastien: This pairing is not something anyone picked up from reading this story because this idea has lived solely in my head until now.

Care: How does your OC engage in self-care, if at all? If they don't, why not?

Ya girl is very indulgent and will not say no to good food, a long bath, and a shopping spree.

That being said — she could stand to take better care of herself when it comes to basic things like… getting enough sleep and eating/drinking regularly! I HC after she moves in with Gale, he’s a big driving force in getting her to confront aspects of self-care that aren’t necessarily fun. (And she to him, to some extent. They take care of each other!) 

Friendship: What's your OC like as a friend? How are they at making new friends? What are the most important friendships in your OC's life?

Delvyre is very good at making friends, though she’s the type of person who elicits very strong feelings one way or the other at first meeting, just because she wears her heart and her feelings on her sleeve. You either are drawn in by her bubbly personality or you are repelled by it. This, however, does not mean she won’t worm her way into your heart (cough Astarion)

However, she is a very clingy friend! She has a lot of insecurity about her relationships, because so many people in her life have left in some way shape or form. She needs a lot of validation, but at the same time she feels bad about asking for validation, so a lot of time it just kinda builds up in her and she’ll try to make up for it by just trying to be everywhere with that person and also getting annoying lmao. 

Anyway, through the course of the game, she becomes close with Astarion, after they both realize they have a lot more in common then they let on, and Shadowheart, after an intensely passionate hooking up phase that cooled into a still warm and solid friendship (one day I’ll post my little write-ups of Del’s relationship with every companion). 

Meet Strange: What's the most memorable way your OC has ever met a new person? Was it a good experience? Bad experience? Just plain weird? How's their relationship with that person now?

Well, just about everyone she meets in the course of the game. The prize probably goes to Lae’zel, the first person she meets aboard the Nautaloid. I totally missed freeing Shadowheart there, so that meeting was relatively normal. Second place is tied between Gale and Astarion. On one hand, pulling a wizard out of a portal isn’t something you do every day, and on the other hand, saying you met your best friend because he put a dagger to your throat is also kinda spicy.

Anyway, she loves them all <3
