last year in finland i had no problem texting/videocalling my mum w/ just wifi and no mobile network bc we both have androids but this year it just. will not work. had 2 turn on roaming just 2 send her a message and video calls just won't work at all even with roaming on :(

(also roaming is like $15/day plus tax which is. pointlessly expensive)
