Ah I miss it when it was a simple fix of opening the back of your phone and popping out the battery for a sec to restart your phone when it froze, now you gotta google whatever is this phone models button combo for forcing a reset

i know i've been like dead to the world on this website for a little while here but once i get my tax return i'm going to buy a phone that can run multiple apps without exploding for the first time in like. two years. and then it's over for everyone

last year in finland i had no problem texting/videocalling my mum w/ just wifi and no mobile network bc we both have androids but this year it just. will not work. had 2 turn on roaming just 2 send her a message and video calls just won't work at all even with roaming on :(

(also roaming is like $15/day plus tax which is. pointlessly expensive)

#so stupidly frustrating idk what changed #theres a setting called wifi calling on my phone thats off (that idk if i ever turned it on OR off b4)#but it said it needed a mobile network to turn on the first time #but once i turned roaming on its telling me theres an issue and to trying setting it up again later -_-#i had such a shitty tome getting here to dublin (what with the probably-heat-exhaustion puking and whatnot) i just wanted #2 videocall my family :'( my mum n i eventually got one sorted thru google meets or smth but ugh. such a hassle.#and 4 some reason it only worked when she called me. if i called her it prompted me 2 'invite' her instead of just ringing #tomorrow!!!! tomorrow will be better!!! at the very least im gonna have 2 go out n buy food of some kind #my stomach still feels a lil iffy but not eating is hardly gonna improve that. and i cant exactly not eat for the next 6-7 days.....#maybe ill wander around dun laoghaire and leave exploring dublin for the next day til my nerves settle a bit
